Travelers is raising its dividend, repurchased 1.4 million shares of stock.
Travelers' shares are flat.

Trucking company J.B. Hunt says its earnings and revenue declined in the recent quarter from a year ago.
Shares are down 6%.
Heineken is standing by its forecast for the year, but is warning of a volatile backdrop involving consumers, tariff uncertainty, and the geopolitical backdrop.
Heineken is a duck.
It says it's been able to raise prices and saw higher sales volumes.
Heineken says it produces more than 95% of its products locally.

One of the big stories over the last 24 hours, of course, is the irony of all ironies.
The sweetest of poetic justices, as they say.
Trump administration is now criminally referring New York Attorney General Letitia James to the Justice Department.

How the turntables, right, as they say.
That was a joke from the office.
How the tables have turned.
Trump administration is now criminally referring Letitia James, according to this report, to the Justice Department because of mortgage fraud.
The Federal Housing Finance Agency accused her of falsifying records, citing a five-unit property in New York she claimed was only four units in order to get a more favorable Loan.
Now, anybody who knows anything about real estate knows when you think, oh, man, that's not a big deal.
Five versus four?
Well, actually, five units versus four units is what separates smaller residential income housing from a larger residential housing for income,
right? So, like, if you were to have a...
Fourplex. That is categorically defined differently as far as regulations and how it's controlled.
Via FHA and all the regulatory stuff, RESPA, which is an acronym for a bunch of stuff I can't remember off the top of my head.
But it's basically rules and procedures for real estate that apply specifically to the difference in these various levels of...
Multi-family homes, multi-family living, multi-residential apartment type things.
It's basically the difference between having an apartment and having a home with extra living places that you rent out.
And I can get into all the details of that.
That's not what this is about.
What it is about, though, is that the sweetest of irony...
Here we find ourselves in with Letitia James now facing a possible indictment for falsifying records.
Now, look, if they got Trump...
So the whole premise was they got Trump for taking a loan out from a bank who agreed to give him a loan, then repaying the loan on time with interest, and the bank...
had no issue or problem with the loan, but the state came in 20 years after the fact
Well, okay.
You know, Trump took his licks there, and let's just presume that that was a crime, even though it wasn't.
We all know it wasn't.
Looks like Leticia James did the same thing.
And it's like, no wonder.
You know, it's funny, because to go back to New York, I've said this before, I think, but I'll say it again just to reiterate.
The idea that New York is not run by criminals is kind of a joke.
There's a reason why, like, all of the movies portray New York as such a corrupt place.
And the TV shows, like, you know, you have those NYPD shows and you have the...
And they're all...
Like, every one of them has, like, high-ranking corrupt officials running the show.
And that's one of those things where, like, art is imitating reality.
Right? It's not the other way around.
They're not just pulling that out of nowhere.
I mean, these people are corrupt as the days long.
And that's why, like, you watch Batman.
Why are all the Batmans set in Gotham?
Well, Gotham is basically an allusion to New York City.
It is New York City.
And it's always run by the most corrupt and evil people.
All the commissioners and police chiefs, they're all corrupt.
So to think that Letitia James is like this altruistic stalwart of that which is, you know, the most sacred of orders, which is the law that she upholds, is a joke.
It's laughable, and everybody knows it.
There's no, like, big secret about all this.
But the problem is...
You know, people are uninformed and unaware, and this is why they put fluoride in the drinking water, okay, folks?
I hate to say it.
It's so that the masses will never wake up.
This is why, you know, they put lead in the toys.
This is why they, you know, fill the fast food with chemicals, okay?
To keep people...
Uninformed. Unaware.
Unassuming. Ignorant.
And I'm not even saying that those people are incapable of having a higher level of intelligence.
It's just, they are being chemically attacked.
It's chemical warfare.
You know?
Between that and the psychological warfare of TV and movies and music and the bombardment on social media of lies and just this artificial, you know, creation that they call like consensus,
it is no wonder that people are, you know, even able to function, let alone have a chance at figuring some of this stuff out.
It's only when you get...
Away from it all that you're able to even remotely have a shot.
But you've got to remember, people have an interesting propensity, let's say.
It's the tribal propensity.
And this is sort of defining the society we live in.
So never forget that, you know, there are people out there who are incapable of defending themselves.
You know, physically, that is.
And a lot of these people, not all, I'm just saying generally speaking, are women and, you know, low testosterone men, right?
Or men who dress as women and take estrogen to block the testosterone.
It's like, do I even have to say I feel like I'm living in a circus when I have to say that?
But it's true.
But how do they get information?
Well, they parse it.
They parse their information through what is essentially a consensus filter.
Right? And what is that?
Well, it's basically a safety mechanism.
They don't ask if it's true when they get information.
They ask this question.
Will other people be okay with me thinking this is true?
Okay? Now, this makes them all very, very malleable and easily controlled.
Usually, it's the brute force manufactured consensus that's thrust upon them when you see, like, everyone in the fake news all saying the same thing.
If every screen they look at says the same thing, they adopt that position because their brain interprets it as the tribe believes this.
Never forget that.

So we've established that the majority of the unassuming masses are under chemical and psychological warfare.
And we're going to have an expert on with us, I think, Friday to talk a little bit more about mass formation psychosis.
Guests we've had on before that we wanted to continue the conversation with.
I'll get you more information on that as we get closer.
Probably in tomorrow's show, we'll make that.
The exact announcement on everything regarding that.
But we've established this.
This is a common practice.
But not only is it a common practice, it's what's leading people to be unaware of what's happening around them.
And in a way, the more knowledge you get in understanding the world and how it works, it's both a gift and a curse.
A gift in the sense that it makes you more prepared to Handle yourself against the consistent and never-ending bombardment that you face from these threats.
Like, as I mentioned before, the chemical warfare, the biological warfare, the psychological warfare, the kinetic even to its degree.
But at the same time, you know, there's a reason why people say ignorance is bliss.
Because, you know, having all this knowledge basically creates a burden.
Which you carry.
And it's also a very difficult weight to bear if you're not strong enough to bear it.
And this is, again, why people who are weaker, physically and mentally, to be quite honest, are susceptible to the brute force, you know, sort of manufactured consent that is thrust upon them in the media.
And this is how people look at, you know, figures like Letitia James, for example, who is now currently under a referral for criminal indictment in the fraud case that was brought up by the DOJ.
Of course, she being the one who brought the fraud charges against Trump.
It's why those people will see this and they will, without even hesitating, once the manufactured, the brute force manufactured consent narrative is put out, that she is the victim of an attack, they will start echoing this.
And I've seen this online, you know?
Sometimes you get into conversations with people online, you know, you make a comment and then you get the people saying all these negative, nasty things and you're like...
You see it clearly.
They're pre-programmed with narratives that they thrust back at you.
They only have a certain set of talking points.
They can't think outside the box in which they have been, you know, it's more like less a box, more a cell that they are locked in, right?
And, I don't know, I find it sad and really tragic, would be a good way to put it.
It's a good old Greek tragedy that the people you want to help the most are the most unwilling to allow you to help them.
They think that their misery is happiness.
They've been twisted into a pretzel when it comes to everything that their world is constructed upon.
And I can tell you I've seen this time and again with a lot of different people across the board, right?
You see people, they have a very difficult time accepting certain truths, and because it's all, you know, we talk about cognitive dissonance here a lot, but it truly is a form of cognitive dissonance to protect your fragile worldview.
Because if you accept one truth, then you have to accept another truth, and another truth, and another truth.
And before you know it, your whole world could shatter before your very eyes.
And you aren't willing to accept that, so you're in this fight-or-flight mechanism of self-preservation.
Your mind, consciously or otherwise, subconsciously, will block and refuse information that counters your strongly held viewpoint.
Right? And this is something I'm seeing across the board, and, you know, it's even more prevalent with people who have higher levels of affluence, right?
You know, the more of a bubble you end up...
In with regard to that, at least the people on the lower end of the spectrum, as far as affluence goes, like people living in your standard, typical middle to lower class upbringing, have a chance because they see the world in a more pragmatic and real way.
They experience things that most others, you know...
Could relate to, right?
You can relate to that kind of person because they've been there, they've done that, they've seen it, they've had that experience.
So that in a lot of ways is why I think people, you know, they always have this propensity, right?
And this is particularly what I've seen with the left, is to say you're just some dumb hillbilly who doesn't understand stuff.
Well, as a matter of fact, you know, the people who grew up in a way that were able to see the world through a raw lens and experience things that others would never have had if you were sheltered or brought up in a very, you know, protected manner with affluence,
right? That's a lot of things that end up happening.
Then they're not capable of seeing, clearly.
Or they're more capable of seeing clearly what is happening than somebody who's affluent and grows up in a smaller bubble with a, you know, protected, in a gated community, at a private school.
They only interact with a certain amount of people.
They don't have real-world experience.
They don't know what it is to suffer to the degree.
I mean, their idea of suffering.
Some of these people, I watch some of these things.
I'm like...
A lot of it is the least informed people.
I don't like to say dumb or stupid.
The least informed people are those who usually end up in those bubbles and then have absolutely no idea what's going on.
And I saw a clip the other day.
I couldn't believe my eyes.
It was these women sitting around talking about the EU and Brexit, right?
And of course, this is European women.
And they're like...
They're talking to one another and they're saying, well, what is Brexit?
And they're trying to figure it out.
And they get to some very cursory understanding of it, very elementary understanding of it.
And the whole conclusion, the culmination of this incredible series of monumental discoveries amongst them is essentially that The one woman says to the other woman,
it's going to make it harder for you to go on holiday to Spain.
And then the other woman says, oh, I like going on holiday to Spain.
Oh, I don't think I like this Brexit that much, now do I?
And I'm like, this is it.
This is it in a nutshell.
This is everything in a nutshell.
We've just compressed it all down.
And given a very specific but broad, right, both, example of how people are just completely trapped in this bubble of, you know,
both a cell that locks them into this cognitive dissonance thinking, one singular mindset, and then you understand how, again, the brute force manufacturer consent.
It gets people to think a certain way.
And then, if you couple with that, the fluoride in the water, chemicals in the fast food, the psychological, you know, never-ending line of media bombardment in this,
not only the 24-hour media cycle that we're in, but even beyond that, the 24-hour, you know, Technology bubble we live in, right?
How many people, and maybe you guys probably listening are not like this because there are people who are outside this standard deviation, but...
How many people do you think go outside?
This is why they want you in cities, in little coffin apartments.
This is why they want you in very tightly packed urban areas where you're basically stacked on top of one another like little cogs in a machine or robots in a container waiting to be used, right?
This is...
Why they don't want you to go out in nature and go on a hike or go work with your hands and till the soil or, you know, look at the sky at night and, you know, dream and think and ponder upon these larger questions.
Because the more you do that, the less controllable you are by this machine that exists to control you, right?
And I know I'm getting into this very existential, sort of macro, philosophical thing here.
But the truth is, you have to encounter both in order to understand what's going on and then be able to deal with it, I think, in a healthy way.
Because if you looked at all of this through a lens that was...
Basically skewed toward pessimism and negativity and hopelessness and saying everything is futile.
Well then, yeah, it's going to look pretty dark and pretty bleak and pretty grim and it's going to make your life pretty miserable.
Trust me, I know people who have that sort of viewpoint.
They think they've lost all hope in humanity.
They, you know, have taken, adopted the position that, you know, I'm going to just look out for me and, you know, screw everyone else.
If I don't, I just need to get what I need and, you know, everybody else be damned.
And A, I think that's a tragic way to live.
It's a horrible, must be a horribly lonely existence when you only consider yourself and not others.
But B, There's a reason why, when you read through Scripture, hope is referenced so many times, I believe.
It's because hope is integral to life.
If that makes sense, right?
Hope for the future.
Hope for your fellow man.
Hope for yourself.
These kind of things are what inspire us to do great things.
They're what give us courage to go out and win great battles.
They're what influence us in...
Pondering the most, you know, deepest of questions and attempting to, and they're what drive us to get up every morning and go out and do great things.
Without that, I think you live a hopeless and sort of menial existence that ultimately will be sad and lonely and fruitless, and that's the opposite of what I personally want for people on a personal level.
And I would imagine that a lot of you out there listening wouldn't want that for your fellow man.
And that's why I think we are passionate.
If I had to guess as to why we're passionate, I know that's why I'm probably passionate, you know, beyond the Great Commission and my belief in Jesus Christ and what I've...
Made my life effort, which is to share the gospel with as many people as I can, because I know that that in turn will help them find peace and hope and real happiness and joy.
But beyond that, because that's the primary thing, secondarily, you know, you genuinely want people to be able to understand the world.
But in all fairness, some people can't handle it.
It is literally like that, what is it, a few good men.
Jack Nicholson, you can't handle the truth.
And he's right to a degree.
You know, you can't handle it.
It is rough.
It is gruff.
It is tough.
It is nasty and gritty and dirty.
The truth is, oh my gosh, I mean, at least the truth about this fallen world, that is.
The truth of the gospel is light.
And, you know, as Jesus, Told us as we are learned in scripture, you know, he is the way, the truth, and the light.
And, his yoke is easy, his burden is light.
So, I say all that to say, oh, the poetic justice we find with Letitia James finding herself.
You know, it's exactly what I said.
Remember what I said, guys?
I told you this.
Remember what I said?
I said, When I was telling you about this, I said, look to the scripture, and the answers are there.
And I was reading in Psalms, the traps they lay for us, they themselves will fall into.
And thus, here we are.
Leticia James falling into a trap.

Chime in on what you were talking about a moment ago, if that's okay with it, unless you've got a different segment you want to roll to.

We always have time to get into the pontifications of me and whatever I'm tangentially ranting about.
No, go ahead.
All right, so here's my interesting, weird theory about why metro centers have a tendency to be...
Well, to be blunt, godless cesspools in a lot of instances.
So my theory is this, is when you look at, you know, you have the written word of God, you have the spoken word of God, which is rhema.
And I think the one thing that a lot of people miss is you have creation, which also teaches us about God.
So if you think about people that are born in city centers, live in city centers, never leave city centers.
The only thing they ever really truly experience is a little bit of sunlight.
But for the most part, it's artificial lighting.
It's artificial stone known as concrete.
Artificial plants.
All this stuff is man-made around them.
And so they live in the world of the supremacy of man.
And that's the only place they ever experience anything.
I've done my fair share of travels, lived in metro centers, lived in cities, recently moved back up to northern Colorado and started farming.
And I'll tell you, when your hands get dirty and you see plants grow and you see life around you and you experience the planting of a seed and see that grow into a plant and the offspring and the produce and the cycle of life.
That God created.
You have a much, much different perspective of the world and the way things should be.
So when you don't experience that, you end up worshiping man's creation and only man's creation.
So numbers on a screen matter a lot more than what you experience in real life.
So it's like a disconnected living in a pod kind of world when you don't get to experience God's creation yourself with your own hands.
Yeah. I mean, I couldn't have put it better myself, actually.
I think, you know, what you just hit on is kind of what I was trying to hit on, but not so eloquently, of course.
I was trying to hit on that because it's very true.
But the point you made about everything being artificial and the man-made world and then that being your only experience, it really does speak to, I think, what is happening more and more.
And, you know, there's some truth to that, even in the sense that, you know, when we were kids, Mark, We're not old, but we're not young.
I feel old.
Yeah. Well, I'm not going to comment on that.
But, you know, I remember when I was a kid, right?
And you probably have a similar upbringing, I'm sure, because you've told me about kind of, you know, your life and with your parents and everything to a degree.
And, you know, like my...
I'd be mostly, I'd actually stay with my grandparents.
We'd go, my grandma particularly, I'd be at her house a lot of the time.
And she lived in this beautiful neighborhood.
It was kind of like a typical suburban neighborhood down in South Florida.
And, you know, it was like...
You were not expected to stay in the house.
It was like, leave.
The weekend comes, if you're not in school or you get home from school on the weekdays, it was like, yeah, get on your bike, you go ride around the neighborhood, go to the park, go hang out with your friends, play out.
There was this guy behind my grandma's house named Mickey who had this big, empty lot that was like a big pine tree forest, backed up to a beautiful, You know, Big Canal, actually.
And we'd go play back there.
And yeah, you know, I almost got abducted a couple times.
And yeah, you know, I almost, you know, I probably stepped on some glass and have some scars that, you know, still to this day are quite visible.
But, you know, I had an experience where I was living in more...
Of a nature and a connection to the world that was real, you know, stepping on pine cones and bare feet is something to this day I like viscerally remember.
You know, that feeling and the touch and the sensory and all that stuff.
So those things get imprinted upon you at a young age.
So if you're a kid, I think, who grows up in the world you described, right?
Where it's, you know, artificial lights.
And even now, so today, you know, these helicopter parents who have their kids, like, locked in the house and like, here, watch Bluey on the iPad until your eyes bleed.
It's like, you can only imagine how disconnected that will make you from And I think those are a lot of people who I see, when I was talking earlier, you know, having these sort of conversations, seeing the conversations on social media, you know,
when you see these people arguing for things that are, you're like...
This is so counter to your well-being.
Why are you arguing this?
And it's like they've been trained or conditioned, I guess, to love what is hurting them.
I don't know how to put it, but did you have a similar experience as a kid?
And then what do you think of what I described there?
Well, I think it's called Stockholm Syndrome, if I'm not mistaken.
Yeah, to a degree.
You know, I think it's really, really interesting that one of the balancing things that we get told, it's thrown around anecdotally almost kind of like an insult when people say, oh, you need to go touch grass.
That's legitimately what we're talking about is just not experiencing the real world.
You know, when you read the Bible, it talks about God created the world and created the universe with wisdom.
You actually are able to experience God's wisdom when you're in the real world, not just sitting under fluorescent lights all the time.
I think that's something that is very much missed in our world.
And yeah, I think people do need to get out and get some dirt underneath their fingernails, get some calluses, and get to do some real work.
Yeah, and it's a shame because a lot of people are put in a position where it's difficult to do those things, but it's not impossible.
You can make excuses until you're blue in the face, but it's not impossible to get in touch with the nature that's around you.

And we got here because I started the conversation discussing how there are people who live in this world that is separate and alternate from the existence that actually most people feel and see,
which is reality.
And you were talking about how this may be a byproduct of them Living in this artificial world that's all man-made, and then they end up worshiping that which is, you know, artificial and man-made as opposed to the Creator.
And, you know, getting into God's creation is how we get connected to that even better.
But I was more overly, to begin the conversation, I was talking about sort of the never-ending bombardment and how there are people who are both physically and mentally weaker who are more susceptible.
Now, this may be a weakness that is caused by, it's like your immune system, right?
If you live in a bubble your whole life and you're never exposed to germs, you're going to have a very weak...
And in the same way, I see people who live in, you know, I talked about people with affluence, who end up living in these very small, protected bubbles, who become weak, both mentally and in some cases physically as well.
And they end up being the most susceptible to what I talked about was this brute force, manufactured consent attack, which is overlaid on everything, right?
The consensus that's manufactured to the fake news, it's a tribal sort of self-preservation tactic where these weak men and women who...
bombarded with all this information they don't look for the truth because if they do look to the truth or try to find the truth and that could be a threat to their very existence so what do they do they look to see if it's acceptable for the tribe and this is where I think you get
these weak people this is why you know good times make weak men as they say in a sort
So, I guess...

Because I do want to move to some other stories but I guess that was kind of the...

Because, oh yeah, I was saying in regard to chemical warfare, right?
The fluoride in the water, the poison in the food, you know, the psychological warfare, which is the manufactured consent, the brute force attack of that on, you know, TV, movies, radio, you know, music, social media.
Education system.
Exactly. You know, that's a very good point because somebody texted that in.
They said it was, don't forget about the Department of Education, right?
So, that's another part where they're getting indoctrinated.

You know, I think there's a lot of truth to what you're saying, and I think when we become, when we are no longer self-reliant, and nobody's truly ever self-reliant, but...
There's certain people in life that you know when you meet them, they know how to handle themselves in a various number of different situations.
And those are the people that when things go awry, and I don't mean catastrophic, globally awry.
What I mean is, I got a flat tire.
Those are the people that you want around because you know that...
They can deal with those situations and issues.
And I think what happens is, like you said, those people live in a bubble so much.
They form this worldview.
When you were talking, I couldn't help but think about the...
And it's almost become a meme at this point where you see the liberal, white, upper-middle-class women who talk about...
Racial issues, but they've never experienced any sort of racial issue, but they have very, very formed opinions about you and what you should say and how you should say it and how you should act.
I know lots of my friends who are of other races are more annoyed by that than anything that we've ever joked about, kidded about, said, or anything along those lines.
It's the getting out of the bubble and experiencing the world and actually meeting people.
And ironically, it is normally the people that live in the bubble that tell rural Americans and conservative Americans, oh, you got to get out of your bubble and experience the world.
We are experiencing the world.
We're out in it.
We're interacting with people.
We're rubbing shoulders with people.
We're talking with people.
Worried about what our Instagram feed looks like all the time.
That's the fake world.
We're in the real world.
Yeah, it's amazing to see how skillfully and craftfully this artificial matrix has, you know...
Kind of continued to expand and grow to consume everything, right?
It consumes people's entire lives.
You get locked into this digital matrix that surrounds you, and then you think that the craziest thing is now with the algorithms and the AI, they are manufacturing, they're tailoring a specific worldview for each person.
That then can be linked together, and that's what's causing this effect, I think, moreoverly.
Whereas strong, rugged individualism are characteristics you'd commonly associate with people who, for instance, work on farms, work out in the dirt with their hands, or work in a sort of capacity that's not reliant on being a part of the Part of that digital world,
right? That matrix of control.
So it's a crazy dichotomy, I think, that's presenting itself societally.
And this is where I think the left-right divide exists almost entirely right now.
And there's trying to bridge the gap, but the people who try that don't succeed because they're two very distinct and separate worlds that are...
They're like clashing.
They can't.
It's oil and water.
They just don't mix.

Where you have two sides that could see the same thing so irreconcilably different, right?
Like, they're just, they're opposite, like, use normal...
And I say normal because relativity, right?
Normal is relative.
But to me, and probably you, we see things like, okay, this whole issue with...
The argument over this El Salvadoran MS-13 gang member who's being deported or been deported and now all the Democrats are losing their minds saying we need to bring back the MS-13 gang member because he was somehow deported illegally.
You mean the very fine father from Maryland?
Yes, right?
Like the upstanding doctor from Maryland who was deported accidentally, I guess, or intentionally illegally.
You know, there's one side that sees it from the perspective of, okay, this guy, you know, has two court records of criminal, you know, violent criminal background with trafficking and connections.
He's an affiliated gang member of a satanic, literally, satanic cartel gang known as MS-13.
And he's deported because he's literally not a citizen of the United States.
Like, this is not even like, they don't debate that part.
They're just saying, yeah, well, he's illegal, but...
And then the other side is like you said, like the loving father of, you know, whatever, deported by a...
And I get frustrated because I'm like, how do we see the world?
How have we gotten here?
And it has everything to do with what we've spent sort of this first...
Part of the show discussing the difference in people's ability to see reality.
Do you think that they actually see it differently or do you think they're just pandering to what they think people want to hear?
That's that echo chamber kind of theory.
I think it's very, very similar to what I was describing earlier when I was talking about People who are weaker, mostly this is physical, not mental, but it is also mental,
end up in this sort of tribal survival mentality where they don't care if things are true or not.
So they'll tacitly admit that, you know, he's illegal, right?
But then they look around them and this manufactured consent machine tells them in one large voice, He is a father.
He is good.
He must be brought back.
And they don't think twice about it because it's a safety thing.
Safety in numbers.
They go to the thing.
And again, they're living in the matrix that we've talked about, you know, like the artificial world.
I think that's what it is.

And we got in this conversation about This illegal is a great example of that.
This illegal criminal gang member who gets deported back to his home country where he's a citizen, El Salvador.
And now you have literally, you have congressmen, you know, getting on planes to fly to El Salvador to try to bring back an MS-13 gang member.
And I'm like...
Yeah, we get it.
People are disconnected from reality.
They don't have, or they're connected to a false reality, sort of an artificial reality that, you know, programs them responses, and I guess that's something.
But we were going to talk more broadly about sanctuary cities and the problems they're causing.
For instance, right here in Colorado, and me and you kind of laugh because we agree on one point, Regarding this, which I'm sure you can reference or I will, but Colorado is now drafting legislation to essentially make it criminal or illegal for Colorado law enforcement officials to cooperate with Immigrations and Customs Enforcement officials in any way
that goes beyond You know, a federal warrant that is brought into the state, meaning they are incapable of having any communication with ICE outside of what is strictly confined to warrants that are brought in for criminals here in the state.
Now, me and you kind of laughed, and I'll just explain real quick.
We laughed and agreed that, you know, yeah, we're both kind of small government conservatives who think anything that destroys that relationship between the federal and the state is good.
But ultimately, I just kind of come to the conclusion that the thrust of this legislation is Basically saying, we want illegal criminals to have a sanctuary here, and we don't want our law enforcement,
because there's sheriffs across the state and law enforcement who are cooperating with ICE right now, and this is what's causing them to lose their minds, because our country's run by a bunch of lunatics, or our state, I should say, more appropriately.
But yeah, your thoughts?
Briefly, we're going to a break.

Man, there's a lot to unpack there.
One of the things that we were joking about was anytime the government hampers itself is a good thing, right?
Yeah. If they're going to get in their own way, not the worst thing in the world.
I think the challenge becomes, though, what happens to the average citizenry when the wolf comes knocking at the door?
And simultaneously, they're removing gun rights.
So that's my only biggest concern about that transition.
However, man, there's a whole lot there.
I don't think you can rely on law enforcement in a lot of instances to protect your family and your home anyway.

You know, we're having a great conversation about it, but we're getting into the idea of this Sanctuary City stuff.
And, you know, Mark, you got kind of cut off by the break.
So if you had any point you wanted to finish that you weren't able to finish before, I'd give you a moment to do that.
I think that what I was saying before is I think the biggest thing that we have to really take a look at is what happens when you simultaneously import criminals and not only criminals but violent criminals to an area as well as remove the law-abiding citizens ability to defend themselves.
One can argue that you create a whole bunch of sheep that will be sacrificed on the altar.
I don't think that's what's going to happen, though.
I think when you start getting into small-town America, I don't think those people are going to remove firearms from their homes, and I think you're going to find a lot of neighborhood watch communities and really taking care of each other.
On a smaller level and looking out for your neighbor and forming your own small community is going to be what's crucial.
And I think in big cities, you don't have that because you don't really know who your neighbor is.
But the biggest advice I could give to anybody is, you know, learn who your neighbors are, chat with them and interact with them and watch out for each other, form your own community where you help defend each other.

You know, there's the old saying that says, you know, what it takes for evil to thrive is for good people to do nothing.
Well, this is where we do something.
I'm not advocating for any violence or anything along those lines, but more simply just to look out for each other and take care of each other, take care of your neighbor and not rely on law enforcement or anybody else to defend your home and your family.
Yeah, I agree.
And I think it's interesting because the left does openly advocate for violence now.
You know, it is a weird world we're hurtling headfirst.
It really makes you wonder.
What the hell are these people actually doing?
And the truth is, they see everything in this utopian way that's so far removed from reality that it makes it hard to even have a conversation.
And then on top of that...
You know, the way I see the whole sanctuary city policy playing out, I mean, this doesn't end well for anyone, on any side of it.
You know, the people living in the cities suffer, you know, violence and crime and other things that destroy their standard of living.
The people in the rural areas are, you know, they're actually the best off of everyone, because their standard of living really doesn't get affected too much, and their life doesn't change all that much.
So it's like they're doing it to themselves in some self-flagellating, you know, act of, you know...
It's what you were talking about before.
It's a complete and total lack of wisdom.
It is a biblical lack of wisdom.
If you read Proverbs, it talks about what happens to The people that, the exact people we're talking about, the foolish people that fall in their own trap, it's the exact same thing.
And so I think it becomes a situation where it's, at some point you have to assume that people are going to start voting or stop voting for these people that are putting these policies in place.
But it just, it persists and I don't understand why.
It persists because weak people are very easily manipulated by this.
Probably 15 times now on the show.
But brute force manufactured consent.
It's a great term.

So I see it from the perspective that You know, these people have been conditioned.
They have the tribal mentality of, you know, seeking safety in numbers.
The programmed, you know, masses, all are programmed to say the same thing.
So it's like, it is that, it is literally that NPC meme that goes around on the internet where it's like they're all standing together and it's like, I support the current thing, you know?
Because you see it.
It's impossible to miss when somebody has in their profile their pronouns and Slava, Ukraine, and every flag except the American one.
You're like, hmm, okay, this is not natural.
This is not happening organically, let's say.
This is manufactured.
On a scale that is so preposterously large that it makes it unfathomable for some people to even comprehend.
They're like, this is why we get the pejorative conspiracy theorists, because a lot of times we are literally identifying and uncovering a conspiracy that is so grand that it is unbelievable,

but you're like, do you remember why he kind of, what his big, big gaffe was?
And I was like...
I don't remember at all.
And then you reminded me that it was the comment about farmers.
Oh, yeah, because we were talking about dirt and getting out in the land.
Right. And I was like, oh, yeah, but this cycle keeps you basically, it keeps just washing.
Brainwashing. Wow, that's funny.
That term kind of fits there.
It's washing your brain.
Like, you put a load in, take a load out.
Put a load in, take a load out.
And by the time it may be the same crap, you're washing the same clothes, but it's a different load each time, and you're just used to the process to the point where, like, they tried to murder President Trump, and nobody even talks about it anymore.
They literally stole an election, and nobody even talks about it.

So, to give you an idea of the media cycle, right, so we don't get too far off topic here, I want to bring it back to an interesting story, and this is kind of what shapes opinions, right?
What we're talking about here certainly is a part of it.
And somebody texted in, as a matter of fact, From the 818, and they said, what country does Garcia originate from?
Is he from the USA or not?
And he's actually, he's from El Salvador.
So the thing, let me just take a second, I guess, and briefly explain the controversy here.
So the controversy lies in the situation at hand.
So Kilmer Abrego Garcia, who illegally...
He came to America in 2011, who has had two courts rule that he was a part of MS-13 as a gang member and also was involved in doing some crimes with that organization.
And he's now been designated a foreign terrorist and deported to El Salvador, where he is a citizen and has been detained by the president's authorities there, Naib Bukele of El Salvador,
the president of El Salvador.
Basically, an Obama judge issued a ruling that demanded the Trump administration bring this guy back, right?
To bring him back to the United States because of some, you know, the fact that he wasn't afforded due process.
Whereas the point the Trump administration is saying is that they have declared the MS-13 as a foreign terrorist organization.
Therefore, he was deported using the, I think it's the Seditious Enemies Act of 17-whatever, and that this is all legal and lawful according to the purview of the president, who's the commander-in-chief.
He has this authority per the executive branch's authority to do so.
But now the left is arguing because the Supreme Court basically said that if The El Salvadoran government wants to return him to the United States to get whatever due process that he supposedly is entitled to.
Although he's not entitled to it, but that's beside the point.
That if that is the case and they want to return him, that the Trump administration has to facilitate it, but not effectuate it.
Meaning, they have to allow El Salvador to return this guy, but...
They don't have to bring him back themselves.
The burden's not on them to go get him and bring him back or to demand that El Salvador bring him back.
And this is where the whole controversy started because Trump's in the Oval Office having the meeting with Bukele and the media's basically badgering him with these questions like...
Are you going to bring this guy back?
And Trump's like, no, he's a terrorist.
He's an MS-13 gang member.
We deported him.
Now El Salvador has him.
And then the El Salvadoran president's like, they're like, well, are you going to send him back?
And El Salvadoran president's like, no.
He's like, am I going to bring him, a terrorist, back to the United States?
He's like, no, I'm not going to do that.
That's insane.
He even said so much as to joke and say, what am I going to do?
Smuggle him back into the country?
Right? It was an interesting thing how this all played out.
And now, of course, the media is running with this narrative that...
You know, he's, like you were saying, Mark, he's the, you know, honorable, you know, future doctor and father of many, and he's the most upstanding MS-13 gang member this country has, you know?
How dare we ship him away?
And it went so far now as the media is basically still badgering administration officials.
For instance, this is Tricia McLaughlin, who is the, as I know, the Assistant Secretary of Public Affairs for DHS.
She was interviewed on, what was this, ABC or something?
Yeah, listen to this exchange.
It's exactly what we're talking about here.
But I think what really matters to Americans is that this MS-13 gang member, who unfortunately, Jay, you and a lot of your colleagues have called a Maryland man, when in reality he's an MS-13 gang member.
Wait, I'm going to stop you there.
What is your evidence, Tricia?
Wait, I've got to stop you there.
What's your evidence that he's in MS-13?
Well, there's actually been two separate immigration judges, Jay, who have confirmed and ruled that he is a member of MS-13.
Well, they didn't rule it.
It was brought up in deportation proceedings.
They sure did, Jay.
But what's the evidence that was brought up in those deportation proceedings that he's in MS-13?
I can do this all day, Jay.
He is a member of MS-13.
I don't think you'd want to be his neighbor, Jay.
I sure wouldn't.
And I don't think many Americans watching would want to be this individual's neighbor.
He's been involved in human trafficking.
He's been involved in labor trafficking.
And he should not be in this country.
So whether he's in an El Salvadorian jail or a U.S. detention facility, I am so very glad, as are millions of Americans, that he is off of U.S. streets.
Because remember, Jay, who is MS-13?
They maim.
They rape.
They kill Americans for sport, and the American people are done with it.
They said so on November 5th, 2024.
Okay, so...
Didn't he have a warrant in El Salvador, and that's why he fled to begin with?
I don't know.
I thought I heard that somewhere.

I mean, he was an MS-13.
I'm sure he wasn't, you know...
An upstanding citizen in El Salvador.
So it's not like, you know, again, as Trump would say, they're not sending the best and the brightest, you know.
They're sending criminals and rapists.
And then he got so much heat for that, and it's like, well, it's true.
You know, Venezuela's literally emptying out their prisons and sending them here, you know, just like Castro did in the 80s.
So, I mean, look, I'll put it this way.
At this point...
Between MS-13 and Trende Aragua and all these, you've got to ask yourself, are these people that run our government just so inept that they don't see the threat?
Or are they being blackmailed?
Does the cartel own them?
Are they paid off?
Because I don't know what the answer is, but it's got to be one of those things.
Given the fact that they're, like, continuously advocating for bringing back, like, with this legislation here in Colorado is one example.
The media, you know, this reporter on ABC News is, like, challenging her on this.
This is such a throwaway, easy thing that we could all agree on, right?
Like, we do not want, you know, twice convicted MS-13.
trafficking, violent criminals here in this country.
Like, if at minimum we can't agree on this, then you know it's all just, you know, sort of this fake outrage.
Like, nothing they say you can take seriously because this is the level of, you know, discourse we have, which is, well, you know, we want the criminals here.

For what reason?
Well, because we're a nation of, we're a cultural, you know, a melting pot, and you're like, have you been smoking crack at 8 a.m. already?

Well, let's take a step back for just a moment.

I don't know if he's been convicted, but we'll leave it at twice accused, and I'll make a point with that.

But then, you know, at this point, if a court has given us enough evidence to confirm it, then we should take them at their face value.
You know, it's funny when I listen to these reporters on television act like they're criminal defense attorneys for these people.

It goes far beyond, you know, a presumption of innocence.
It's like, I'm going to...
You know, you see these, in some cases, scummy lawyers who, you know, defend some of these people and put together cases.
And in some cases, you know, successfully get people off for crimes they committed.
And in some cases, they defend people who are innocent.
It happens both ways, unfortunately, in our society.
And, I mean, fortunately not unfortunately, I guess.
And, you know, I...
I just know what they're doing, though, so it makes it difficult for me to put upon the fake news journalist the best intention, right?
Because I know he's not coming from a place of good intention.
He's coming from a place of deception.
But... I 100% agree.

And I guess we want to take a minute and talk about one of your businesses that you work with here locally in Colorado.

My family has farmed in northern Colorado.
My grandparents started farming in Denver area.

I think for a final thought, what I would absolutely advocate for is everybody getting out and touching grass and getting to know their community, getting back to
the way that God intended that we live, and that is not just consuming things from a screen and getting back to where we've got some calluses on our hands
and we're interacting with God's creation directly with our neighbors
So what we started doing a long time ago was when a month has 31 days in it, we would...
You know, say May 1st, we would read Proverbs 1, and the 2nd, we'd read Proverbs 2, and so on and so forth, because there's 31 chapters of Proverbs, which is Solomon's wisdom handed down to us through the Word.
And so I would advocate reading Proverbs and really thinking about it and letting it marinate into your day-to-day life.
I agree 100%.
And that's why we go to Scripture every day here on the show, is because we know that's where we find wisdom.
And this is a quick verse I want to leave everybody with.
We've talked about it here before.
I'll share it again, though, because it speaks to what we were talking about.
And this is from 1 Peter 5, verse 8 and 9. It's simple.
It says this, Be serious, be alert.
Your adversary the devil is prowling around like a roaring lion, looking for anyone he can devour.
Resist him and be firm in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are being experienced by your fellow believers throughout the world.
And that's to say that we are in this together.
And I thought that verse was sort of appropriate because you made the example of the lion earlier.
We have to be alert and be serious and understand that the devil is always looking for a chance to devour us.
But when we put our faith in God and we resist the devil and be firm in our faith, then no matter what, our souls will be untouchable.
So that's where I'm going to leave it.
