One thing, I don't know why.
It doesn't even matter how hard you try.
Keep that in mind.
I designed this rhyme to explain it through time.
All I know, time is a valuable thing.
Watch it fly by as the pendulum swings.
Watch it count down to the end of the day.

It's so unreal.

Welcome to the Just Informed Talk Radio Show.
I'm your host, Craig James.
And of course, it's Monday.
We're back.
Thanks be to God.
It's always good to be back with you guys.
And you know what it is.
Mondays are always special days because in the first hour, we play you a sermon from Pastor Dean Miller of Front Range Baptist Church right here in Fort Collins.
This is an amazing sermon.
Talking about purpose, right?
And what is our purpose?
And this is a look in the book of Ecclesiastes, listening to some of the writings of King Solomon, which he does a great job of explaining, but I'll let him do that.
So let's just go right over to Pastor Dean Miller in Front Range Baptist Church and his sermon on what is purpose.
Hey, Matt, can you help me?
John Hope and Caden, can you help me for just a minute?
Maybe Drew, could you help?
Could you grab some of those notebooks out there?
Just need one.
These guys have them.
My heart, and I know that.
My heart has been burdened for you today, and I love you, and we're praying for your dad and for your family, for your boys.
If we could begin at 80 and gradually move to 18. Everybody hear that?
It'd be better if we could begin at 80 and gradually move to 18. Wouldn't that be better?
By the time you get to 80, you got life all figured out and no strength left to do it.
But that was Mark Twain's word.
When you're younger, curiosity and a hunger for knowledge are strong when we're young.
Kids want to know everything.
Yesterday was Michelle's birthday and so we got a FaceTime call from our oldest daughter and she had little Anders and little Sage on there.
And of course we got one from Bennett too.
And we were talking to Bennett later.
But little Anders is three years old.
And he loves plugging things in and making things work.
And so his dad was very smart.
Took a full-size vacuum and cut it short.
And taught him how to plug it in and use it.
And he said, Pops, want to see me clean up a mess?
And I said, yeah, I do.
And so he went over there and he had those little plugs.
And he calls those the plug holes.
So you got to put this in the plug holes.
And he was trying to get in there, but you know how one side is bigger than the other side?
And he was touching the plug hole, like trying to figure out why something was in there, why it wouldn't plug in.
And I kept saying, no, no, no, don't touch that bud, don't touch that bud.
And my daughter reminded me.
She said, Dad, you didn't mind when I was a kid sticking stuff in there?
You said that we'd only do it once, we'd learn something.
But I said, I'm a pops now, and I don't want that little boy to get smacked like that.
But when you're young, curiosity is in full bloom.
And you want to know.
Then you get older and you don't want to know anymore.
You ever heard him say that?
Like, you know, when you were younger and something was going on, hey, have you heard?
What's going on?
You get a little older and you're like, hey, did you hear?
I don't want to know.
I don't want to know.
Because the more I've learned, the worse it's been.
There's stuff I know.
How many of you know things today?
You know something you wish you didn't know.
How many of you?
Okay. And so, when we are younger, we're full of curiosity.
And we start wondering, start asking questions.
What is the purpose of life?
What's this all about?
What does it mean?
Where are we going?
What happens when we die?
Philosophers have tried to answer all these questions, but you know what they usually come to?
They usually come to despair and disillusionment.
And you finally come to like the belief of the Epicureans.
Eat, drink, and be merry for tomorrow we shall die.
We're going to live one time, so just do whatever you can to get through and enjoy the journey.
Solomon, in the book of Ecclesiastes, was asking these very questions.
He was asking all these questions.
What is the purpose of life?
What is it all about?
And to be very transparent, he was very, very, very pessimistic.
Solomon was asking these questions and he was writing them all down.
He wrote down every one of his potential answers of what life could actually be about.
And so many people have had these same questions.
In 1976, Elvis Presley, after his last official show, At the Las Vegas Hilton, wrote this note.
I feel so alone sometimes.
Actually, he would have said it, I feel so lonely.
I shouldn't have said that.
I was actually going somewhere serious.
I thank you very much.
But he wrote, Elvis Presley, 1976, Las Vegas Hilton, I feel so alone sometimes.
The night is quiet for me.
I'd love to be able to go to sleep, but I'm just glad that everyone is gone now.
I'll probably not rest.
I have no need for all of this.
Help me, Lord.
By himself, with everything the world could offer, he sat looking at the empty walls of a hotel, saying, help me, Lord.
What is the purpose of life?
Where does it all go?
Those of you that are raising teenagers and you have college age kids or kids that are in their 20s or in their mid-20s, you know that there's something innately wrong in this generation.
Kids are very reluctant to just launch out.
They're not seeing their future with vigor and joy.
They're very fearful of the future.
Not knowing what it's all about.
You see popular things on TikTok and social media of this generation asking questions like, Why do I have to go to a job every day, nine to five?
Why do I have to do this?
Why do I have to pay taxes?
Why do I have to do all of this?
For what?
What's the purpose of it all?
And they're asking that question.
Solomon asked these questions.
Nicolas Cage, a famous Hollywood star, wrote several years ago.
He said, I'm afraid that something is innately wrong in my generation.
We've grown up with everything but we have a hole in our soul.
And I believe that that's where everybody is.
We have a hole in our soul and we're trying to throw everything we can into that hole to satisfy it and nothing satisfies it.
Do you really know anybody that's living a genuinely happy life?
Been married for 30 years, genuinely happy with their marriage, genuinely happy with their job, genuinely happy with everything in their life.
I mean, everybody puts on social media how wonderful of a time they're having, but behind the filters, there are people who are miserably unhappy and very unsatisfied.
And that's what Solomon is reading about.
Everybody feel encouraged?
Let's read the first 11 verses of this book.
The words of the preacher, the son of David, king in Jerusalem.
Vanity of vanities, saith the preacher.
Vanity of vanities, all is vanity.
What profit hath a man of all his labor which he hath taken under the sun?
One generation passeth away, and another generation cometh, but the earth abideth.
Forever. The sun also riseth.
The sun goeth down, hasteth to his place where he rose.
The wind goeth toward the south, and turneth about unto the north.
It whirleth about continually, and the wind returneth again according to its circuits.
All the rivers of the sea are run into the sea, yet the sea is not full.
Unto the place from whence the rivers come, did they return again.
All things are full of labor.
Man cannot utter it.
The eye is not satisfied with seeing, nor the ear filled with hearing.
The thing that hath been done is that which shall be, and that which is done is that which shall be done, and there is no new thing under the sun.
Is there anything whereof it may be said, See, this is new.
It hath been already of old time, which was before us.
There is no remembrance of former things, neither shall there be any remembrance of those things which are to come with those that shall come after.
What a look at life.
You know what Solomon's writing here?
What's the point?
Let's look at the man here.
Let's look at the man who wrote it.
The Bible calls him here the preacher.
The words of the preacher.
And when we say preacher, don't think of somebody standing up here telling you thus saith the Lord.
That's not what the preacher is.
Preacher here is the Hebrew word kohelet.
When the Old Testament was written into Greek in the Septuagint, the word kohelet was written into the Greek Ecclesiastes.
Alright. We'll be right back.
Have you considered what it takes to truly follow Jesus?
In Luke 14, he tells us that following him means carrying our cross and counting the cost.

is a word that is the word for the church.
It means a called out assembly, a gathering together of the saved.
We are the church.
We're the ecclesia.
We're called out and we're assembled together.
The ecclesiastes or the ecclesia is really the gatherings, the collections.
Solomon is the kohelet, the gatherer.
I think a good name for him would be the seeker.
He's... I'm so thankful that we have his journal.
I'm thankful that we have the seeker's journal on all of life.
He was the seeker.
He was gathering and collecting his philosophy.
Solomon's wondering what it's all about.
Let's take a look at Solomon.
Who was Solomon?
He was the son of David.
He was the king in Jerusalem.
Solomon was the richest man to ever live.
He was the Elon Musk of his day.
Solomon, nothing was out of his ability to buy.
He could buy his way in, buy his way out of anything.
And he did.
Solomon had massive amounts.
The Bible says, if you read about it in the book of the Kings and the book of the Chronicles, Solomon had ships coming in every year, loaded down with tons and tons of gold every year.
He had massive amounts of wealth.
He was the richest man.
But not only that, Solomon had great spiritual assets.
In 1 Kings chapter 4, Solomon was a young man and he goes to God and says, God, I don't know how to be king.
And God said, okay Solomon, I'm going to give you three choices.
Do you want power?
Do you want wealth?
Or do you want an understanding heart?
And Solomon said, God, I want an understanding heart.
And God gave Solomon wisdom.
Supernatural view of life.
We can read about a lot of his wisdom.
Solomon wrote over a thousand Proverbs.
He wrote hundreds and hundreds of Psalms.
Some of them we have recorded, some of them we don't.
But Solomon had great wisdom about life.
I mean, incredible wisdom.
Just read the book of Proverbs.
It will give you the way God thinks about every subject in life.
What does God think about friendship?
What does God think about jobs?
What does God think about your house?
What does God think about marriage?
What does God think about raising kids?
What does God think about drugs?
What does God think about alcohol?
What does God think about friendships?
I mean, everything.
Name a subject.
What does God think about government?
You name a subject and Solomon wrote about it.
He was so wise.
In fact, God told Solomon, I'm going to give you such an understanding heart that people are going to come from all over the world to hear what you have to say.
And they did.
Kings would send entourages to trade with Solomon so they could learn from his wisdom.
The queen of Sheba was one of the great stories that we got when she came into Solomon's kingdom and she had heard about all of his wealth and all of his wisdom and she came and she said, I hadn't even heard half of this.
This is way beyond anything I ever heard.
I thought people over-exaggerated it.
They didn't even tell me half.
Solomon was rich.
Solomon was wise.
Solomon was a builder.
He built a temple in Jerusalem.
He was the one that built the permanent temple, the first temple.
And he built it in such a way it became one of the wonders of the world.
It was incredible.
It took him seven years.
You go back and study how they built that thing.
The craftsmanship, the wealth, the opulence, the gold, the wood, the ivory, the things that they put into that thing.
It was unbelievable.
Seven years to build that house.
Built his own house in 13 years.
What a place.
He built him another house, a little summer home up in the forest of Lebanon.
And there, many people, I mean, Solomon was a builder.
He completely redid Jerusalem, redid all the streets, redid the structure.
He built the town of, he built the city of Hazor.
He built way down in the south.
Solomon built cities and fortresses and outposts all over that part of the world.
He was a master builder.
When people were planting gardens, Solomon was planting forests.
Solomon, when you walked through his estate, you could walk through his place, and I'm telling you, the palaces were unbelievable.
The ruins are still there.
I mean, it's unreal.
Listen, you walk through Solomon's estate, that guy had aquariums full of exotic fish.
He had zoos.
You can read about it in the book of 1 Kings.
Ships would come in with peacocks and apes and exotic animals from all over the world.
Solomon kept zoos and he would go down there and just look at his orangutans.
Learn from them.
And he was a master builder.
Solomon, the man, was a man of prayer.
I would encourage every one of you to go read 1 Kings chapter 8 and to read the prayer that Solomon prayed at the day of dedication of the temple.
What that man knew about God.
How he addressed God.
How he talked to God.
How he exalted God.
The vocabulary that he used to show the glory and greatness of God.
Solomon prayed a prayer that would have told you that that man was a man who knew God personally.
And did.
He was a man of great intellect.
Solomon had wisdom and knowledge.
He gave himself to read thousands of books.
Solomon had obtained so much information and knowledge about all kinds of subjects.
And discuss them openly with the leaders of the world.
Solomon gave himself to pleasure.
I don't know if you know this or not, but Solomon had a few wives.
Not three, 300.
And 700 concubines.
That was his harem.
In the book of Song of Solomon, Solomon was writing a story about a beautiful maiden who was in love with a lowly shepherd boy.
And the king was trying to get this beautiful maiden to marry him, but her heart was tuned to that shepherd.
And Solomon was writing about him.
He was the king who was trying to get this girl, but she was in love with this shepherd who had nothing, and he was writing about all these things he had to offer.
And in Solomon's book, Song of Solomon, can I tell you the audacity of his offer to this girl?
Come away!
Be a part of my harem.
Ladies, wouldn't that just sweep you off your feet?
I mean, if a man came to you and said, hey, just come be a part of my harem.
After this morning's message, somebody sent me a picture of a selfie that Solomon took.
And it shows Solomon, and there's just a tribe of women behind him.
And Solomon was a man who had a wife.
Socrates, that great philosopher, said this.
He said, by all means, get married.
If you get a good wife, you'll live a happy life.
If you find a bad one you'll become a philosopher.
And that was Solomon.
He became a philosopher.
Solomon was using his powers of observation to look at All that he could see in the general revelation that God has given us.
Theologians call this general revelation.
What does it mean?
It means the heavens declare the glory of God.
The firmament shows his handiwork.
Day into day, utter his speech.
Night into night, show his knowledge.
There is no speech or language where their voice is not heard.
Listen, you can go outside and you can see the created world.
And you know what the created world will tell you?
There's a God.
It's general revelation.
You can go see the migratory fowl as they come in and leave, flying south, flying back north.
You can see the snow as it comes in the winter and as it departs in the spring.
And then if you live in Colorado, it comes back in the summer.
And you can see all the ways of nature.
You can go up in the September and hear the elk bugling in the mountains and see the leaves change.
You can observe nature and its order and you can say there is a God.
But that's general revelation.
You need special revelation not just to know that there is a God, but to know who He is.
And Solomon in this book is looking at the general revelation.
He's just looking at life and all that he can see.
I can see that sun.
I can see that moon.
I can see those stars.
I can see those fish.
I can see that orangutan.
I can see all these trees that I've planted.
I see the cities that I've built.
I see all the order of creation.
And he's looking at all of that and his whole summation of everything is vanity.
It's empty.
One of the reasons why atheists and agnostics have used the book of Ecclesiastes so often, it's their favorite book.
Voltaire quoted from Ecclesiastes more than any other book in the Bible.
And while Ecclesiastes is inspired, and it is a book of the Bible that God has given to us, God has inspired this book for our learning, you must understand that not every verse in it is to become a personal truth.
If you ever read the Bible, all of the Bible is true, but there are lies in the Bible.
You say, what are you talking about?
When Satan said, thou shalt not surely die, is that a lie?
God was telling the truth about Satan's lie.
And if you try to just believe every verse in the Bible as a personal truth, you'll end up believing what Satan said and believing what Judas Iscariot said.
So you have to understand the Bible through biblical understanding.
You have to have spiritual eyes when you read it.
The book of Ecclesiastes is a book like that.
You've got to be careful when you read that book, or it'll leave you feeling very pessimistic and very empty and void of any meaning and purpose of life.
Because that's where Solomon was.
And by the way, I believe that Solomon wrote this book during the time when he had acquired all of those wives in that harem.
Because the Bible says that those women turned his heart from God.
And it was during that time Solomon was trying to figure out, man, how in the world...
Could life get any worse than what it is?
I have money.
I have power.
I have pleasure.
I have anything that any man would ever want.
I can have as much sex as I want.
I can spend as much money as I want.
I can go wherever I want.
I can do what I want.
I am the king.
I can build.
I can tear down.
I can conquer.
I can do whatever I want to do.
And yet, it's empty.
I believe that God put this book in the Bible for two purposes.
Number one, Is it to wake up call to the believer as to what unbelievers feel every day?
You and I live in such a politicized world that we as believers have come to view everything left and right.
Conservative and liberal.
We see everything through politics.
And by the way, everything is politicized in our culture.
But what you and I can forget as believers is that we're living in a world of people who may even politically agree with us.
And we can win an election, but I cannot win at life!
I can get what I want.
I've got a good job.
Many of you are going to go to work tomorrow and you're going to have the CEO walk by you and they drive up in their brand new automobile.
They've got money.
They've got everything.
And yet, they'll go behind that closed door and if you don't understand this book, you're going to forget that unbelievers, even with everything, feel as though they have nothing.
We forget that we're living in a world filled with people who feel helpless.
They feel hopeless.
They feel empty.
And God is going to write this book to reset the mind of the believer.
You better remember that this is the problem in the world.
People feel empty in this world.
That there's nothing here that can satisfy them.
And I think not only is it a wake-up call to the believer, but number two, it's a warning to the believer.
God gave us this book as a warning to us.
That apart from God, you are bound to live a futile, empty, worthless life.
So as believers, this book should turn our hearts back to the right view of life.
We should never get to a place where we feel empty.
A believer should never feel hopeless and void.
I mean, come on.
We know the maker of it all.
We, of all people, should never get in this place because we know better.
Solomon was a man who knew better.
I read a story about a guy who years ago in a little town in California started burning some leaves and things in his backyard.
And that fire got out of hand.
It jumped the fence and it took off.
And you know in California what happens?
It burned very quickly over 100 acres.
It took six helicopters and 400 firefighters two days of intensive work to get that fire under control and to put it out.
The problem with that was the guy who started the fire Was the captain of that town's fire department.
He knew better.
Solomon knew better.
He found his life burned to ashes.
He started the fire.
And he knew better.
So that's the man of the book.
Let's look at the motto of the book very quickly.
Look at verse 2. What a motto.
Vanity of vanities.
All is vanity.
Vanity of vanity.
All is vanity.
Get used to that word vanity.
You're going to read it 37 times in this book.
Vanity means empty.
It means vapor.
When you read vanity, don't think of like somebody who just likes to see themselves in a mirror.
Somebody who's proud or vain.
We had a brother that we nicknamed Vain.
He loved to see himself in the mirror.
My sister had to fight him over meertime.
This vanity means this.
Take your left hand and blow in it.
Catch it.
And look at it.
See, vanity has the idea of something that is felt.
Something that is experientially real.
Something that is here, but I can never grasp it.
I can feel pleasure for a little while, but I can't have it.
I can earn money, but I can't have it.
can earn money, but I can earn money.
Any major disaster, especially weather related, when the power goes out, can cause people to suddenly panic.
Within hours, grocery store shelves in your area can be picked clean.
Food supply lines get interrupted and food is hard to find.
At that point, it's too late to do anything about it.
You must survive only on the food you already have in your home or risk waiting for the government to respond while you're standing in food lines.
So ask yourself, do you have enough food in your home to last for weeks or months?
That's why the smart move is to secure your family's personal supply of the most reliable emergency food you can buy.
Having at least four weeks'worth of food is not a luxury.
It's mandatory.

back. See how far you make it down the road.
It's just, I feel it, I can experience it, but when I open my hand, vanity.
Gone. Nothing.
And here's why.
Look at it.
In verse number three, what profit?
You can take that word and make it the word gain.
What gain?
What profit?
Hath a man of all his labor, which he taketh, now notice this phrase, under the sun.
You're going to be familiar with that phrase too.
29 times in this book.
Under the sun.
You know what Solomon's saying?
Solomon's looking at life and he's saying, what is it all about?
It's vanity.
It's nothing.
Life equals nothing.
It is all vanity.
You know why?
Because Solomon, watch this, is looking at life horizontally.
He's looking at life under the sun horizontally.
He's looking at what he can observe.
He's looking at what he can see.
But he has no vertical axis in his life.
He has no upward look in his life.
He is not seeing above the sun.
He's only seeing under the sun.
And so the whole motto of the book is emptiness.
And we're going to see as we go through this book, we're going to see the emptiness of life.
And we're going to learn from Solomon's emptiness on how to have a full life.
We're going to learn about fruitfulness.
We're going to learn about a life that has meaning and purpose and structure.
A life that has bountiful things.
It leaves great things and it's generations behind it.
I mean a life that is a life that is full.
Jesus came that we might have life and we might have it more abundantly.
So that's the man and that's the motto.
Let's close with this.
Let's look at the monotony of life.
This is the man writing about the motto.
He's a man writing about the emptiness, and he talks about the monotony of life.
Look at it.
Look at verse number four.
One generation passeth away, and another generation cometh.
But the earth abideth forever.
362,000 births will happen today.
On average, about 162,000 deaths will happen today.
Right over here, we have the cry of a little baby we heard a moment ago.
New life.
And we have the cry from Ben and his family as life is taken away.
One generation cometh, one generation passeth.
One generation hears one born.
In every hospital today, there are people who are clapping their hands and crying tears of joy as they welcome a baby into this world.
And in that same hospital, there are people who are on their knees with their head in their hands, weeping as life leaves.
And if you're Solomon looking at it horizontally when you wash your hands after you have covered a loved one in the grave it's empty.
No meaning to all of this.
He sees the monotony of life.
Well there's birth and there's death.
There's birth and there's death.
That's why one philosopher said we should all really be crying when babies are born.
Thank you.
He looked at the monotony of day after day.
Look at verse number 5. The sun also ariseth, and the sun goeth down.
And then it hasteth to its place where it arose.
I mean, the sun comes up in the morning, and then the sun goes down at night, and then we lay down to get some rest, but it hurries up to the place where it got up.
And the days just go on, and the nights go on, and the days go on, and the nights go on, and it's just one day after the next.
It's just another day.
It's just another day.
I gotta get up, and I gotta go to work.
I get my carcass out of bed.
I get it in the car.
I take it to the office.
I do its work.
I get it back home.
I finally want to get in bed.
I finally get to sleep, and boom, I'm back up again.
And there I go again.
It's just the monotony of every day.
You ever felt like that?
Solomon did.
He said, I just look at the monotony in the weather.
By the way, why do we even bother getting up and checking the weather?
We live in northern Colorado.
It doesn't matter what that app says.
It's going to be winter in the morning.
It's going to be springtime in the mid-morning.
It's going to be summer for about three minutes.
And then it's going to be winter again.
He's the wind comes, the wind goes.
And listen, he knows.
I mean, Solomon must have had a little bit of an understanding.
He must have read a book about Cheyenne Wilming because he says here that it just, it just whirls around.
It was so windy in Cheyenne the other day that a chicken laid the same egg twice.
All the rivers run into the sea and the sea is not full.
Then the waters return to where they came from and they flow back down.
The water just goes in a cycle.
Rivers don't stop flowing, sea never gets full.
What happens?
It's just the hydrological cycle.
I think Solomon could have probably, if he had a thousand women in his home, he probably could have better written about the laundry cycle.
We wear the clothes, we dirty the clothes, we wash the clothes, we fold the clothes, we put them away.
We wear the clothes, we dirty the clothes, we wash the clothes, we fold the clothes, we put them away.
Yesterday was my wife's birthday.
I told you earlier, her birthday yesterday, and I wanted her to have a great day.
You know what she had to do?
Laundry. She was doing laundry.
We wore the clothes.
I said, babe, it's your birthday.
You don't have to do it.
Well, what are we going to wear tomorrow?
I don't know.
Let's do this.
And then she said, well, you get in here because I want you to see how you could do this because I'm going to die one day.
You need to know how to do this.
And so I learned some things yesterday.
And so for her birthday, that's what I gave my wife for her birthday.
I did one load of laundry.
I even moved it over to the dryer.
Learned about putting dryer sheets in there.
I just always wondered.
I thought they were just like things that fell out of your clothes every once in a while.
I was preaching one time years ago in Mississippi.
It was on a Sunday morning.
Man, I was preaching.
I was getting after it.
And I kept seeing something kind of flashing around.
I got to the pulpit one time and it was bothering me.
I could catch it out of the corner of my eye.
And I looked down and I had this dryer sheet hanging out of the end of my suit.
But the problem wasn't the dryer sheet.
It was that it was connected to something else in there.
And when I pulled it out, I think it was like a sock that came with it.
I'm like, oh, there it is.
And I put that one back on.
I mean, listen, it's just the cycle, the cycle, the cycle, the cycle of life.
We just do the same thing and it's never full.
We put money in the bank but it's never full.
Money goes in, money comes out.
Everybody with me on this today?
How many of you are sitting with Solomon today saying, hey, I'm seeing the same thing?
Day after day, day after day, day after day, day after day.
Solomon said, you know what's going to happen to you?
You're going to live, you're going to die and no one's going to remember you.
Let me ask you a question.
Who was president 60 years ago?
Don't Google it.
Just tell me.
And there might be a few historians in here.
Who won the 1937 World Series?
It was a big deal then!
By the time World War II broke out and by the time everybody got home from war, everybody forgot who the MVP of that World Series was and who won that MVP.
Anybody with me?
There's going to come a day I'm going to die.
The people who remember me are going to come and put flowers on my grave, but that will eventually filter out.
And there'll just be some random guy mowing over my grave, looking at a random headstone with a name on there.
Daniel Dean Miller.
June 2nd, 1973.
Whenever. And he's going to mow over and he's not going to even think twice about who I was, what I did, where I lived.
Solomon's like, what's the point?
What's the point?
There's nothing new under the sun.
Some people have balked at that and said, well, yeah, well, what about iPhones?
They're new.
It's just aluminum.
Mined out of the earth.
Stamped into a certain shape.
Sand melted down until it becomes glass.
Copper and silver and gold and lithium all put together in an electronic kind of way where it can get signals and diodes and all that.
And then we turn it on and we have this new thing.
And you know what it tells us?
It tells us the weather.
It tells us politics.
It tells us about sex.
It tells us about all kinds of things.
The same old, same old, same old, same old.
You can go get a brand new iPhone and it'll never do anything new for you.
It'll be the same old thing.
Get a new game system and new games.
Same old things.
Solomon's not talking about new inventions.
He's talking about they all bring us to the same thing.
Nothing. You thought that car was going to be the cat's meow.
Man, that first month you took good care of that thing.
Now it's got McDonald's fries jammed under the backseat.
You even said we rolled up.
No one's going to eat in here.
You're not going to touch anything in here.
You're going to sit in that seat.
Listen, now you're throwing them filet-o-fish and Chick-fil-A sauce.
Kids are finger painting and they got stickers all over the window.
Music. Thank you.
Bye.

So here's Solomon's conclusion as he begins this book.
He said, I'm the preacher, I'm the collector, I'm the gatherer.
And I've come to a conclusion after I've looked at the sun, and I've looked at the wind, and I've looked at the rivers, and I've looked at the way of life.
I've come to the conclusion under very, by the way, under very accurate observation, Solomon comes to a very bad conclusion.
And that is, life is meaningless.
And it's empty.
So is that how we're going to end today?
No, we're going to close on this verse.
You ready?
Romans chapter 8, verse number 20. Romans 8, verse number 20. And I want you to look at this verse.
We're going to read it together.
You're going to read it quietly.
And in your heart, you're going to study every word.
And I'm going to read it out loud.
And we're going to ponder what this verse says.
Romans chapter 8, verse number 20. Look at it carefully.
For the creature, that's anything that was made, creation.
For the creature was made subject to vanity.
Not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope.
Look at it again.
Read it again.
Look at every word.
For the creature was made subject to vanity.
Not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope.
Do you know why life is empty?
Do you know why life is meaningless?
Do you know why life has no purpose?
Do you know why nothing can satisfy the hole in your soul?
God made it that way.
God made life empty.
God subjected every creature to emptiness and futility.
God subjected you to a life of meaninglessness and emptiness.
You say, what kind of a sick and sadistic thing is that?
Oh, no, no, it's an act of God's grace.
It's one of the greatest acts of God's grace that in a world filled with sin and brokenness and wickedness and vileness and all the things that this world came into when it came to sin, God in His grace made the world subjected to emptiness because if money could satisfy you, if money could satisfy you, you'd be satisfied in all of your wickedness.
If sex could satisfy you, you'd be satisfied with all your wickedness and all of your sin.
And God made it in such a way that nothing can satisfy you apart from Him.
So pursue money, you'll be empty.
And you'll get to the end of it and you'll have all your coffers full of money and you'll be clinging to your nickels with your arthritic hands on your way to a devil's hell still saying, empty, empty, empty.
Go view all the pornography you want.
Chase every woman you want.
Sleep with every girl you want.
Young men will go out in this world and give themselves to the pursuit of sex and pleasure.
And they'll go out and do whatever they want with their bodies.
And in the end of it, they wake up and have to look at their face in the mirror.
Empty! Nothing satisfies.
God made life empty so that you would need Him.
And only in Him Does money satisfy?
Only in him.
Does sex satisfy?
Only in him.
Does life satisfy?
Life finds meaning and fullness and joy and purpose and all the meaning in him.
You see, the problem was Solomon was looking at the meaning of everything under the sun, S-U-N.
We only find purpose when we see life under the S-O-N.
That's why Saul could sing in a prison.
That's why God's people could be happy in wilderness places.
Because only God can satisfy.
Everything in this world will leave you empty.
That's why husbands and wives listen to me.
If you have a marriage that God has given to you, you listen to me.
You men, you keep yourself for that wife.
Another woman won't satisfy you.
There's no one else that will ever come close to giving you any kind of satisfaction to your desires.
You hear me?
You go home and you be the man that God wants you to be in that marriage.
You love her the way God wants you to love her.
You get God in that marriage and I'll tell you, it'll satisfy you.
That job that you have today, you can quit and go find 14 other jobs and none of them will ever satisfy you.
You'll always be a bad boss.
But you go to work and you begin to work for Christ.
And you go to work and I don't work for that boss.
I work for the Lord Jesus Christ and I'm going to go with an obedient heart and a heart in tune to God and I'm going to go give my heart to Him and my life to Him and I'm going to serve every day as though I'm serving the very God and I'll tell you, you'll find satisfaction in that job.
You'll find meaning in that job.
You'll find purpose in that job.
You bring all your finances and all that thing into all of the purview of God's ownership and you say, God, I'm the steward of this.
I'm the manager of this.
I'm going to be a faithful giver.
I'm going to be a faithful spender.
I'm going to be a faithful doer with what you've given to me and I'll tell you something right now.
You may not have a bank account.
I watch these guys like Joe Rogan and Jordan Peterson and these guys today, philosophers of our age.
Their vile minds and their filthy mouths and their quest to find knowledge and figure it all out.
You know what's interesting?
You watch how they go on this trajectory.
And they start off like, I'm looking for this quest of wisdom.
And the deeper they go down into the philosophies of man, I'll tell you what every one of those guys in our generation has had to grapple with.
Jesus. They've all had to grapple with Jesus.
It always comes down to Him.
What will you do with Him?
Sometime in your life, somewhere in your life, you've got to reckon with God.
And without him, life means nothing.
And with him, everything means something.
With him, everything has purpose.
There was a naval ensign and he had completed a quest over the ocean and made it to a port.
And he had done so well that he was looking forward to his next task.
And they were having to leave port and so he jumped on the boat and he began to bark orders on that destroyer.
Man, there were people running everywhere, yanking up anchors, unmooring things and man, they got underway.
They were moving out of the harbor and he's got everybody doing their stuff and he's just, he's large and in charge.
They made it out of the harbor and into open water and they were finally coming underway and he was standing there looking at his watch and he did it in record time.
And Seaman came to him and handed him a message.
It was a message from the captain.
But what was puzzling was it was a radio message.
And it said, My personal congratulations.
You have completed the exercise according to the book and at amazing speed.
But in your haste, however, You overlooked one of the greatest unwritten rules.
Make sure the captain's on board before getting underway.
He had gotten the boat successfully out to sea, but he'd forgotten the captain.
I think there's a lot of us who've done the same thing.
We were meant to live for so much more, and we lost ourselves.
13.

Thank you.
We get our life out to sea.
We've forgotten the Lord.
And I'll tell you something right now that your life will always amount to vanity until you have Him.
Do you have Him today?
Is, listen, is God in the center of your plans?
See, I'll tell you what many of us do.
Many of us make a plan, and then we act on the plan, and then we hope God blesses the plan.
And God said, no, no, no.
You trust in the Lord with all your heart.
You lean not to your own understanding.
In all your ways, you acknowledge me, and I'll direct your path.
You need to go to God and say, okay, God, my life is yours.
If I take it into my own hand, it'll always come to naught.
But if you're here, and I'm living life your way, no matter what you do with my life, it will satisfy.
I wonder today where you are.
We live in a world filled with empty people.
We must not be church people with empty lives.
Let this be a book of warning to us that we can live a fruitful life in a barren world.
We do not have to be subjected to the vanity.
We can have confidence and hope in him.
Father, I pray today that you'll use your word to deep in our hearts do a work of uprooting self, uprooting our own way of life.
And Lord, that we would be rooted and grounded in Christ.
That we would not see life under the sun, but we would live life through the sun, the son of God.
That's the abundant life.
We would abide in you.
Lord, speak to every heart.
Amen. Well, that was Pastor Dean Miller from Front Range Baptist Church right here in Fort Collins.
If you guys are interested, services are Sundays, 9.30 and 11 a.m., if anybody's interested in coming in and joining.
But, yeah, I'm always thankful to get the sermons up in the morning on Monday.
We of course have a lot to get into and we're going to get into it.
The stock market's a big story today.
We're going to get into some other stories from over the weekend.
President Trump and these tariffs.
We had major protests.
We have all kinds of...
Anarchy breaking out here in Colorado with the radical leftist agenda moving into full speed.
They're trying to do some really crazy stuff here.
We'll talk about all that, hopefully, and just give you an overview of what's ahead.
A lot of people are saying this is Black Monday right now.
The stock market's down 2.5%.
At least the Dow Jones is, and it looks like we're seeing some movements, but I don't know.
I don't know what to make of it all yet.
We'll get to it here in today's show and just give you a good idea of what's ahead for this week.
So you're going to want to keep it locked in here.
However, I want to thank you all for joining us and let you know that, you know, Today is going to be a good day no matter what.
Whatever happens with the stock market, whatever happens with everything else, we will make it through it, I'm sure.
And I really appreciate that sermon, though.
I love when you look at life and its futility, you actually find a closer relationship to God because you see that the things that are of this world, they can't bring you fulfillment or meaning or happiness in the same way.
That God can fill you with all of those things.
And it's always a good lesson to learn and remind ourselves of.
So, let's take a break.
Come back.
We'll start up Hour 2 of the Just Informed Talk radio show right when we come back.
Keep it locked in here.

...of the Just Informed Talk radio show, and I want to get into it now.
We had a bit of a tumultuous open to the market.
It looks like it's still kind of hovering around the 2.5%, at least the Dow is down 2.5%.
Other markets, 2, 1.5, 3, depending on where you're looking and what time you're looking.
There's a lot of people out there who were saying today was going to be Black Monday, I guess.
It is still too early to tell, right?
I mean, who knows?
They think the markets are crashing and a lot of this is being attributed to Trump's economic tariffs that he's put on other countries, the reciprocal tariffs that have been put in place.
The markets have been tanking and people have been trying to put this all on Trump.
I mean, look, I'm not a market economist and I'll leave that to the experts, I guess, who want to...
I don't want to pontificate upon what the implications of all this are, but I will say this, that it does seem to me that regardless of your personal monetary position in all of this, a lot of people have 401ks and other market-dependent annuities that they are trying to look at and protect and keep.
Safe, but they depend on it for income, etc., etc.
So I get it.
It could be a big hit for some of those people today, and I think it's unfortunate.
But I do think that when Trump talks about the market, at least he says the truth when it comes to the market, right?
Which is that our market's been exploited for decades and decades and decades to the tune of...
Billions, if not trillions of dollars by very nefarious people who have done very criminal things.
And, I mean, sometimes I wonder, I always hear people complain, right?
And this is me kind of as a, I guess you would call a novice or sort of as a layman speaking on this, but I hear so many people complain, right?
And they're always like, well, Trump's doing this wrong, and Trump's doing that wrong, and he's going to crash the economy, and he's a part of the system.
And I go, okay, all right, fine.
Let's presume that you're correct.
What's your solution?
Nobody ever offers solutions.
They always just want to, you know what, and complain about how bad the system is, but nobody ever offers any solutions.
I'm of the opinion, again, as a layman, not as some market economist, that no matter how you break this down, there's no simple fix.
There's no cure that's like, snap your finger and we're all, the economy's fixed tomorrow.
Let me just do it.
And, you know, some people offer sort of these very extreme measures, right?
They're like, well, we've got to end the Fed.
Like, okay.
What do you suggest we do to replace it?
Well, it doesn't matter.
We just gotta get rid of it.
Then everything will fix itself.
And you go, okay, but what would happen while it's fixing itself?
Would we suffer at all?
Yeah, you know.
But, you know, it would be necessary to get through it.
I'm not saying that's wrong.
I'm not saying that's wrong.
I'm just saying, is that the only solution we have?
Oh, we gotta get rid of the fiat currency.
Okay. Well, if we get rid of the dollar, what are we gonna buy stuff with?
Well, you know, we'll use crypto, or we'll use gold, or we'll use something else, and it's like...
Okay. But what does that transition look like?
What's your exact time frame on all that?
Because, you know, you can't just snap your finger and do it overnight.
Even in the most optimistic of timelines, I'd assume it would take years, if not decades.
Well, we should start.
Okay? So, my point is, Trump's making obvious moves, and he's saying the things that are true, right?
He's saying, well, we're getting raked over the coals with these tariffs.
Other countries are imposing tariffs on us to do business with them, which seems unreasonable.
And then I hear a lot of arguments, you know, saying, well, you know, Trump's basically, Trump's tariff is a tax.
So, Trump's basically just increasing our taxes.
Well, a tax is a tax, too.
And we're already getting completely reamed on that.
So, you know, I fail to see it.
And then, you know, like, even some of the top...
I listen to some of these podcasts and some of these people who are, oh, I'm an insider.
I know about this.
I was this person's treasury secretary, deputy treasury secretary.
And I heard something the other day.
It was about the secret, you know, trillions of dollars in secret money going to black programs.
And, you know, this is Trump's just playing into that.
And I'm like...
And again, as a layman, not as anybody other than a layman, like, I don't know, I'm not an economist, but I'm like, okay, but what's your solution?
And they give nothing.
They give you nothing in the form of solution.
And all they do is tell you, this is the problem, be scared, be afraid, this is the problem.
Gets a little old.
Anyway, stay tuned, we're coming back.

Why does it seem America is slowly sinking?
Whose fault It's not the Democrats or Republicans.
It's not the military, corporations, or foreign countries.
It's the Federal Reserve, a central banking system made up of private bankers that corrupt and control virtually all aspects of the world's money supply and the economy.
All of the major problems of the world can be traced back to the Federal Reserve and central banks of other countries.

I'm your host, Craig James.
Somebody texted in something interesting.
They said, from the 970, they said, if Trump would move as quickly on his campaign promise not to tax tips and overtime and push that through, it would pacify the nation.
Perhaps. Perhaps, but I don't know.
Is pacification the standard now that we're setting for fixing a problem?
You know?
If this problem is as bad as everybody says it is, which I agree it is, we shouldn't just be trying to pacify the population.
We should be trying to actually fix it.
And credit where it's due, at least from what I can tell, it seems as though that is what this is aimed at doing.
There are people who give these bigger explanations for what Trump's trying to do with markets and economies.
But at the end of the day, they always fell short of giving you this solution that accounts for things that are beyond our control, even.
Right? Well, the United States has to do this, and they have to do that.
It's like, okay, well, what about the other...
200 plus nations in the world whose economies are independently functioning and not within our control.
We can only control what we do.
And I'd love to sit down and have a conversation with somebody who could give me a full set of solutions that may seem reasonable.
I'd love to hear it, walk through what it looks like to undo 100 plus years of Banking cartels entrenching themselves within our economy to a point where to remove them would be like, again, we use this in surgery analogy, I think it's getting overplayed now, but it is sort of accurate.
It's like, well, you're going to go at, try to fix a slashed artery with a band-aid.
It's probably not going to work.
But I'm not an expert on any of this stuff.
I'm just a guy who's casually been observing this over the years and decades.
And I see a whole lot of, you know, people saying this is the problem.
These are the problems.
This is the person's fault it is.
And I'm always like, well, good.
I agree.
Let's then let's fix it.
How do we fix it?
They always get into the long spiel on.
Well, you know.
We have to do this and the other thing.
Anyway. Ugh.
Anyway, somebody said something nice.
I love to read the nice comments because those are the ones that I appreciate.
Somebody said, love the bumper music, Craig.
Great show.
Like always, you've really been good for KGNC, especially for the top of the lineup.
Thank you.
You know, when you say kind things like that, that always makes my heart warm and fuzzy.
But 877-536-1360, whatever you want to tell me, go ahead and you can lay it on me.
The market, though, like I said, is in an interesting place.
It looks like, oh, Black Friday might be over.
The market's turned positive.
So I guess we're, everything's okay.
Crisis averted.
We're in the green now.
So don't even worry about it.
Don't even worry about it.
False alarm.
False alarm.
It's not the end of the world yet.
Perhaps that will come later.
This may have a lot to do with the EU coming out and announcing that they are capitulating to Trump's demands in the trade war.
Perhaps. I don't know that it's direct correlation, but people are saying, you know, that it might be related somehow.
Vanderlayen, the head of the EU, Vanderlayen, she just came out and said that she will meet Trump in the middle on the tariffs, which is a good thing, right?
It's what we want.
We want at least stability.
But I heard an interesting theory that I'll share with you.
This was the theory that people are sharing online.
It was a post from a 4chan...
Oh, I don't know.
Let's see.
It looks like it was posted.
Oh, it's been reposted recently, but it was posted not too long ago.
And they said this.
Somebody was trying to explain for the people who don't understand.
They say Trump is trying to crash the stock market at least 20%, causing a flight into treasuries, which will cause the Fed to slash interest rates so he can refinance the debt to near 0% and cause a deflationary spiral, which will lower the cost of everything.
He also intends to use tariffs as an incentive for companies to build in the U.S.
to avoid having to pay them.
The tariffs in the resulting global trade war will also force American farmers to sell more of their goods in the U.S.
due to retaliatory trade measures by other countries, which will directly lower the price of groceries in the U.S.
More than 94% of the stock market is owned by just 8% of the U.S.
population. Trump is literally taking money from the rich and giving it to the poor.
One day he has a 25% tariff on Mexico and the next day he doesn't.
This is to cause extreme volatility in the markets and a desperate need and demand to flee towards treasury bonds, which are much more stable but offer much lower potential return.
They also say this is why eggs are cheaper now than they were under Joe Biden.
Now, again, I'm not a market expert.
I put that out there openly.
But, it does seem like a reasonable thing, if you're trying to bring down prices, that this may be in fact what is happening.
Especially since the market has basically dropped around 20% over the last few days.
So, you know, take it all with a grain of salt.
And, you know, you use your own discretion in understanding all of this.
But that's what I see happening in the market.
And I'll, you know, wait and see if there are other solutions that come about that, you know, seem more reasonable.
I think we all want to see this system fixed.
We all understand the corruption that's built into it.
I think we all get that part.
If you listen to this radio station and you haven't figured that part out yet, probably should keep listening.
Because I'm sure somebody on here at some point in time will reiterate that fact and make it abundantly clear.
But beside that point, yeah, I guess crisis averted, right?
The market's kind of evened out.
It's not tanking.
It's not Black Monday yet.
I mean, of course, we have the whole day.
So, you know, who knows?
But, yeah.
Fun times.
Fun times, right?
So there are other stories out there I want to get into.
I don't want to spend all day on this one topic.
But I will tell you this.
That what we're seeing...
Oh, we have some more text messages.
Let's go to the text messages.
Because I enjoy this.
I enjoy this.
Our friend Henry...
This all goes back to Pastor Mel's message a couple weeks ago.
Who and what do we put our trust in?
I love that.
And thank you, Henry.
I really appreciate that.
Because that speaks a lot toward my thoughts as a believer in Christ.
And it actually goes very strongly with the message we've heard recently where it talked about the idea that everything under the sun, S-U-N, is futile.
You know?
It's all vanity.
It's all coming to nothing.
You'll spend your whole life clamoring to amass this wealth that you can't take with you.
You'll spend your whole life seeking pleasure in this world that ultimately is unable to move into the next.
You'll spend your whole life like Solomon said, you know...
You have all this wealth, you have all this treasure, you have all this power, you have all this authority, but what does it all mean in the end?
It's meaningless.
Now, that's not to be negative, that's to say, where do we find meaning?
Where do we find a meaning that's beyond what is in this world that surrounds us?
Well, I've found in my life, and I know in scripture it says, That you find meaning in a relationship with Christ.
And I know that's true because I found it and I feel it and it's tangible.
I have that.
Not just to hope for this life, but for the next.
So, thank you, Henry, for texting that in.
Somebody also said...
Let us not forget that Jesus Christ is the rule of all nations.
He has stretched out his hand against us and diminished our portion because of our many national sins.
Say what you will, but this is the root of the problem.
I don't know.
I think that I wouldn't even go as far as to say we're being punished.
I don't know that I believe that.
I think that we are punishing ourselves, right?
If that makes sense?
In a much more broader way, it's like, well, we're reaping what we sow.
That's not us being punished.
That's us reaping what we sow as a nation together.
When you make these decisions, when you put these actions out there, when you do these things, there's always consequences.
And that's perhaps the consequence we're facing now.
You know, food for thought, at minimum, in case anyone's interested.
But I had other stories, of course, I wanted to get to today, and I think they are interesting.
One of the things I want to talk about was censorship, right?
So, this was an interesting excerpt from a clip that was put out, and I didn't get to this in the other show on Friday, and I wanted to get to it.
But it talked about how the EU is in the process of putting together this massive fine on X because they're trying to restrict free speech.
Free speech is obviously a problem.
It's very problematic when it comes to people's ability to control you and to force you into capitulating to their control systems, the matrix.
They want you to live in the matrix.
And if you have access to red pills, then you could break out.
That's like a metaphor for it all.
But, and red pills are basically like truths that illuminate reality that make it difficult to live under the control matrix that they try to put on you, right?
So I found this clip, and they're reworking the censorship industry, right?
So first it was sort of this top-down government approach.
We're going to make the Ministry of Truth.
Well, actually, before that even, it was, we're going to get the big tech companies to censor you.
So we'll go to the platform.
The platform will say no.
And they did that.
And they deployed it.
I and many others were victims of this sort of thing.
You get your channel chopped off.
you get your your your ability to be platform to cut off and and this but this didn't work I think it backfired to a large degree because people many of the people who got cut off not all but a lot of them especially the ones who had very Okay. So that didn't work.
So then the approach was, okay, well, we need, like, the Ministry of Truth.
And they got Nina Jankiewicz and a bunch of other, you know, bureaucrats in D.C. with the FBI and everyone else to get together and start formulating, well, you know, this is how we're going to moderate truth.
And people got really pissed.
started drawing a lot of comparisons to some really dark, dystopic Aurelian stuff.
coming to life off of the pages of books warning us of such things.
And that kind of failed.
It didn't last very long.
It got poked a hole in that.
Now there's a new system they're going to put in place, which is an even better one.
And I'll tell you about it when we get back.
But it's the idea of middleware.
Middleware!
Stay tuned.
and I'll tell you about it when we come back.

Welcome back to this Forum Talk Radio.
I'm your host, Craig James.
And the gist of this is they're going to essentially create a system by which now the intermediary, like NewsGuard, if you haven't heard of that, it's sort of a system of verification for news that is used by...
People and businesses to ensure that the news that they're sharing is trustworthy, right?
But of course, it's just another sort of front for an Orwellian censorship machine.
But this is the next step in their plan.
With the EU planning a billion-dollar fine for Elon Musk and his company X, Because they're not censoring the quote-unquote disinformation well enough.
This was a warning we got, and this was a year and a half ago.
This was a warning that was put out there by Mike Benz about what they would do.
I think this is relevant to what they have in store that's coming sooner than later.
And I couple this with the stories of the massive protests.
Why? Because it's all interrelated, right?
It's all interconnected.
When you look at the so-called, quote-unquote, you know, grassroots, organic, whatever, protest movement in America, which we all know is highly paid, highly coordinated, and strategic.
You see what's happening.
I mean, Chicago, Denver, other cities across the country with thousands and thousands of people marching through the street.
Most of those people only know that they're there because they don't like Elon and Trump.
More overly, they may not even know why they don't like those people other than that the news told them not to like those people.
And that the news told them that those people represented some kind of existential threat to their existence.
But they're there, and a lot of them are paid.
I'm not saying all of them are, because obviously there's plenty of useful idiots out there who do this stuff for free because that's what they do.
But it is interesting that...
The way a society will be controlled going into the future is going to be with all these different various inputs, right?
And the inputs are going to be exactly what we've seen in other countries, for instance, with the astroturfing and the color revolutions and other things that have been perfected by intelligence agencies.
And then that...
So a lot of people will say, well, you think the intelligence agencies are running color revolutions in America?
Well, maybe not.
Maybe they are.
Maybe they are, but maybe not.
Maybe what's more likely is that people who have worked for intelligence agencies, understanding how those color revolutions operate and work, because perhaps they were working on them themselves, have then decided to...
become sort of like free agents and have worked now for other people who, you know, are outside of that intelligence agency who have the same nefarious ends, whether it's a state actor from a foreign country or it's some, you know, entity that wants to cause disruption or if it's a communist group that's like an anarcho-communist, they want to see chaos, they don't care, whatever it may be.
I mean, there are factions.
I mean, our country's seen many of these instances over the last several decades and they still exist today.
I mean, the communist movement is still alive and well in America.
You can go to any college campus and there's inevitably there is some sort of social communist socialist group.
Maybe not exactly in those words, but what was it?
The guy who was one of the protesters in the Palestinian who got deported?
He was like, they were plotting the, or they were working toward the eradication of Western civilization.
Now, I'm no expert.
No expert on...
Whatever that is, but I'm almost entirely certain that if I were to be working toward the eradication of anything, that means I'm trying to destroy it.
Right? I don't know that there's any other way to put it.
So, this is what they're going to do.
With these groups and the censorship, they will control the whole of society, and then it will be a one-party state that is run by...
Essentially, people who have the worst intentions for you, I should say.
A lot of people believe that's already happened.
We're already living in it.
I get it.
But the point is, they're working us ever closer toward it.
And there is no solution, in my opinion, that overthrows this immediately.
It's incrementally, it's gradually.
In the same way we got here, we have to get out.
You know?
You don't just undo a hundred years worth of destruction and plotting and chaos and all of this stuff.
You don't just undo it instantaneously.
You do it little by little, piece by piece, push by push, bit by bit.
Anyway, I want to play this clip.
Here it is.
One thing to really be out on the lookout for here is something around disinformation compliance.
Now this is going to be big, because on August 25th...
Sorry, it's a little hot out here.
On August 25th, just weeks away, the EU is going to kick into motion these new rules requiring compliance with EU disinformation rules for Twitter to continue to do business in the EU market.
NewsGuard is already billing itself as a disinformation compliance service to comply with these new EU disinformation laws.
So you have this situation right now where what they're trying to do is rather than have DHS force Twitter through coercive pressure and twisting their arm...
They're going to have entities like NewsGuard step in and in order to comply with the EU disinformation regulations, you're going to need to buy NewsGuard's disinformation compliance services.
Very similar to how this whole compliance with DEI industry popped up when you needed DEI programs for your ESG scores or to qualify for government contracts.
It's very nasty stuff and it's coming soon.
Yeah. So that's what's coming.
And it's almost predictable what they'll end up doing to a degree.
They'll tell you it's about truth or whatever.
And I can see the pressure campaigns building.
I can see the narratives being laid.
The foundation work, at least for the narratives, has been laid.
And they're ready to deploy.
They are deploying.
They're getting the people riled up.
They're getting them activated.
It really does speak to the difference politically between the left and the right in America at this point.
And I'm not saying that everyone on the right in the conservative movement is good and altruistic and peaceful and nice, but the overwhelming majority are, to a degree.
And the majority of people on the left are like the opposite.
They have this violent threat to them.
That's why you see...
You know, the sort of violence against property and the intimidation tactics, I mean, all that stuff, it's not like it's being, I think, over-exaggerated.
I think it's being reported on very modestly, to be quite honest.
As a matter of fact, if the media, which is controlled mostly entirely by these leftists, is even covering it at all, it's because it's so large, it's unavoidable.
Right? And people are being weaponized and put out there.
If you go back, you look at history and how these sort of things get started.
It all starts the same way.
Tearing down statues, you know, rewriting history, doing this kind of thing over and over again until people are too dumb to even know that they're falling headfirst into it.
So, I don't know.
But, it'd be nice if we could fix it all, like, with a snap of a finger.
It's just, it's going to take a little bit more than that.
Stay tuned.

Welcome back to Just Forum Talk Radio.
I'm your host, Craig James.
We're going to keep going.
A lot of things happening here.
But I mean, what I'm talking about with the rhetoric amping up is that this is getting out of hand, but it's only going to get worse.
It's only going to get worse.
Not trying to be pessimistic or even the bearer of bad news, but I think everybody should just be prepared for what this is going to eventually escalate into.
If today they're firebombing Tesla dealerships and uncontrollably committing acts of vandalism against vehicles, the owners of which they don't even know, I can imagine as we get closer to the midterm election, it's only going to get more, let's just say, violent.
It's going to become more unhinged.
I've heard people say that there's another COVID coming up or some kind of, you know, big black swan type event.
And I believe that that is very likely as well.
There will be something, some catalyst that will create some new situation.
Now, will Trump be able to stop it?
I don't know.
I hope so.
It'd be great if we don't have to go through it.
But, you know, I always think of these things kind of in the market boom bust, you know, cyclical type of way.
You know, there's always going to be these tragedies because that's what keeps us sort of...
Subservient, if you will.
Is that a good way of putting it?
So who knows?
But I've heard, you know, Alex Jones has the theory that what's going to happen is there's going to be a bunch of terror attacks that are going to be committed by leftists and they're going to, or it's going to be like conservatives, supposedly conservatives, and that that will in turn lead to, you know.
Them trying to paint the narrative to get people radicalized against Trump even further.
I believe that.
What did he say?
He said something about a terror attack against migrants.
Boy, I hope that doesn't happen.
But, yeah, something's coming on that.
You can bet your bottom dollar.
So real quick, though, to wrap up what's happening here in Colorado, it was announced today that our corrupt, feckless...
Useless Secretary of State Jenna Griswold has announced that she's going to run for the Attorney General position here in Colorado.
So going from, you know, which by the way, if anyone out there in the Trump administration is listening, or anybody wants to send them a quick message, could we, or anybody in the DOJ or the FBI, could we please open up an investigation into Jenna Griswold?
She leaked all the passwords ahead of the election to the voting machines.
Could we perhaps have some push on that?
I mean, that seems like something that would be easy to convict her on since she did it and admitted to doing it.
But far be it for me to have that expectation.
Colorado now is doing some pretty crazy stuff.
So, they are pushing these bills.
For instance, they have this new bill which is going into effect now, which is Rule 16 on S.H.B.
1312, which means there's zero...
Debate time, and the bill out there is actually talking about how if you don't affirm your child's gender delusion, you're guilty of child abuse and you'll lose your child.
Many people are pointing out that this is crazy what's happening here in Colorado.
Here's the soundbite.
Pursuant to House Rule 16, I move the following motion on passage of House Bill 1312 on third reading.
Shall the main question be now put?
Representative Weinberg, if you will please make your request into the microphone.
Thank you, Madam Speaker.
Fellow colleagues, because of the actions today, I would request that this bill be read at length, and every other bill after this.
There is a request for the bill to be read at length.
House Committee.
So, essentially, to summarize what you just heard there, I know the sound was a little low, but the Dems have ruled with Rule 16 that there will be no debate on this bill.
So it's going to go forward, probably, along with many other radical bills that they're trying to railroad in.
I think they called into session yesterday on Sunday to get this all going.
So, you know, Colorado...
Listen, as a guy, I lived in California for three years.
I know what it's like there.
If you don't see where this all heads, I don't know what to tell you.
I don't know how to fix it either at this moment because it's so corrupt.
And I think the problem really lies in a combination of things.
They want us to be fighting each other.
While simultaneously exploiting us at every end, at every chance they can.
Looks like we have a caller.
Let's bring him on the air.
Caller, what do you got?
Hey, I know you only got a minute or two.
Just wanted to let you know, since you're talking about Colorado North Glen, which is real close to us, is also enacting a pet policy now.
So if you have more than four pets...
If you don't disclose that information, they are going to possibly come and take the pets physically from your house.
Remove them.
What do they define as a pet?
Do you know?
Well, they're talking about cats and dogs at this point.
There's a little more to it.
There's kind of a grandfathered thing, Craig, but the bottom line is what gives them the right to say that?
Oh, no, I agree, 100%.
I was curious if that included, like, livestock or, you know what I mean, that kind of thing.
Yeah, you can check.
I'm not exactly sure, but that's brand new.
Great, perfect.
No, I mean, I lived in California, and let me just tell you, we're halfway there, if not further, and it's...
Sad to see what is such a great, nice, beautiful state with good, hardworking, conservative people who will be...
Forever basically held captive by these liberal strongholds in these big cities, which come from the universities and come from these ultra-wealthy people living up in their mountain chalets, virtue signaling to the rest of us, and then buying influence so they can control the government and get useful idiots in to run the show so they can just exploit it.
It really is a sick and disgusting system.
Welcome to Colorado, right?
Welcome to Colorado.
Well, we've got to take our final break and we'll come back and leave you with some hope and encouragement.
Stay tuned.
Thanks, bud.

I'm your host, Craig James.
It's our final segment.
Man, time does certainly fly.
We'll see what happens today.
Make sure you guys keep it locked in here at 1360.
I'm sure you'll have better breakdowns of everything all throughout the day.
Just getting into some of the news as it becomes available, so make sure you keep it locked in for that.
But, I'll say this.
You know, who is wise?
That's a question I have.
Who truly has wisdom among us?
And I ponder upon that because I often talk about how, and I have in today's show, for instance, how we're looking to people who oftentimes struggle to bring wise solutions.
They have a good idea of the problem, but it's tougher to find the solution.
And that's a problem we all face.
Right? In our lives at some point or another where we will be able to easily recognize our problems or perhaps sometimes more accurately the problems in others, right?
But then it's difficult to find solutions or it is easy to find solutions for others but perhaps sometimes difficult to find them for ourselves.
And I found this scripture in James chapter 3 about wisdom and I want to share it with you.
It's chapter 3 verse 13 of the book of James.
It says, Who is wise and has understanding among you?
He should show his works by good conduct with wisdom's gentleness.
But if you have bitter envy and selfish ambition in your heart, don't brag and deny the truth.
Such wisdom does not come from above, but is earthly, unspiritual, and demonic.
For where envy and selfish ambition exist, there is disorder in every kind of evil.
But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peace-loving, gentle, compliant, full of mercy and good fruits, without favoritism and hypocrisy.
And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who cultivate peace.
And I think that that oftentimes eludes us in our lives.
I know it certainly is something I have to remind myself of regularly.
In my life, if I want to find true wisdom and true knowledge and understanding, it has to come through an understanding provided by God.
We can convince ourselves all days that we are going to fix the problems that surround us and that we have all the right solutions and all the answers, but there is one problem that we all know we can't solve, and that is the problem that this life will end.
And when it does, you're going to have to give account for your life.
And that's where I believe we have to have this kind of wisdom.
So, that's the wisdom that's from above.
And I hope that you guys all use these words going into this week to find peace and help others and to help yourselves.
And we'll be back tomorrow, God willing, to do it all over again.
And until then, I want to say thank you for listening.
If you haven't accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, I invite you now to open your heart, say a prayer, call upon his name, and let him in, and watch what great things can happen.
That's it.
We'll see you tomorrow.
Until then, I'm your host, Craig James.
Godspeed and God bless each and every one of you patriots.
