Today is Monday.
We're back.
Thanks be to God.
And we're here to do it all over again.
Today we're going to do it a little different.
Usually on Mondays, in the second hour, we play a sermon from Pastor Dean Miller of Front Range Baptist Church right here in Fort Collins, Colorado.
And today we're sort of switching the order up.
We're going to start from now going forward playing Pastor Dean Miller's sermon in the first hour on Mondays.
And then we'll finish up with the news and other stories in the second hour.
Let's go ahead and go right over to Pastor Dean Miller and his sermon from the book of Jonah about the mission's miracle.
Listen to this.
And we often just go through our day and we miss the glory of God.
The firmament showeth His handiwork.
And the heavens declare the glory of God.
We can see Him everywhere.
And I thank the Lord for His mercy and His grace every day.
As they just sang, that is the way to see the Lord.
Every day you wake up, His mercies are new every morning.
And I love the fact that the Lord is so gracious to us.
Jonah chapter 1. Look at the book of Jonah chapter 1. Look at verse 17. Now the Lord had prepared a great fish to swallow up Jonah.
Now we don't know what kind of fish that was.
It could be a whale.
It could be the Hebrew word is ketos.
If we anglicize it, it's ketos, which means sea monster.
I don't know what it was, but God prepared it.
And God prepared that fish to swallow Jonah.
Now, this story has been told so often to the children that I think we sometimes relegate it over to the fairy tales.
And we think about it like Humpty Dumpty and Jonah and the whale.
But I will tell you this.
I believe this story.
I believe every word of this story.
And I'll tell you why I do.
Not just because scientifically we can go back and read about occasions where people were swallowed by whales.
Or even as one man was swallowed alive by a great shark and they towed that thing in and opened him up and he'd been in there for almost two days or so and he was still alive.
Now his skin was all bleached and had no hair on his body and he had brown patches on his skin.
You can look it up.
But he lived.
I don't believe it just because there have been stories of people who've been swallowed by a fish and live.
And by the way, it's not news when a dog bites.
But it is news when a man bites a dog.
It's not news when a man catches a fish, but it's news when a fish catches a man.
And that's what happened with Jonah.
Jonah got swallowed by a fish.
And you say, do you really believe that?
Absolutely, I believe it.
God prepared it.
And God could have put a couch and refrigerator in there if he wanted to.
And Jonah could have just made himself at home in that fish.
But God prepared the fish for the purpose of swallowing Jonah.
And you say, why do you believe it?
I don't believe it just because there are accounts and tales of people who've been swallowed and survived.
I believe it because Jesus believed it.
And Jesus said, I'll give you a sign.
He said, as the sign of Jonah, that he was in the belly of the whale for three days and three nights, so shall the Son of Man be in the heart of the earth for three days and three nights.
And Jesus believed the story of Jonah, and I believe it.
And I want to show you some things today, coming back from this trip.
The Lord really put this on my heart to preach this morning.
I want to preach a message this morning on the title of the mission's miracle.
The mission's miracle.
Look at verse 17 one more time.
Now the Lord had prepared a great fish to swallow up Jonah.
And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights.
And we think, man.
Here is a story of Jonah getting swallowed by the whale, and that's what the story of Jonah is all about.
Well, I want to tell you this.
Jonah's not the hero of this story.
The whale's not the hero of this story.
The hero of this story is mentioned 38 times in this book, and that's God himself.
God is the hero.
Of this story.
The whole book is about God.
And I want you to see the miracle of missions today as we look at the story of Jonah.
Look with me in chapter 1 and verse 1. Now the word of the Lord came unto Jonah, the son of Amittai, saying, Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city.
Now, where is that city today?
That is the city of Mosul in northern Iraq.
I was in Iraq a number of years ago up in Kurdistan.
And our church was starting a church there.
And I had traveled in and we were staying.
I was 11 kilometers away from Mosul.
I could look out the lights of my window and see the lights of that city at night.
And this was in September of 2016. ISIS had taken Mosul and had captured it.
No one was going in.
No one was going out.
And I was looking right across the way at it.
And I remember the stories.
I went out and saw a place where it is at least there.
It's a grave marked as Jonah's grave.
It was an amazing place to be.
And this is the modern day.
Mosul was the old ancient biblical city of Nineveh.
And Nineveh was to the east of where Jonah was.
And the Bible says that God told...
Jonah to go to Nineveh and that great city and cry against it for their wickedness has come up before me.
But Jonah rose up and he fled to Tarshish from the presence of the Lord and went down to Joppa and found a ship going to Tarshish.
Some people think, some commentators think that Tarshish is the British Isles and so he was going to go towards Britain and he was going west when God had told him to go east.
And God wanted him to go to Nineveh and cry against it and he went down and he found a ship so he paid the fare thereof and went down into the ship to go with them.
Unto Tarshish from the presence of the Lord.
Now, I'm going to give you four things today from this story of Jonah that I want to put the miracle of missions on your heart.
And I don't want you to miss this today.
Please don't check out.
I want you to listen to this because this is for every believer in this room today.
And if you're not a believer, this message is for you.
I want you to see, number one, I want you to see the missions mandate.
I want you to see the missions mandate.
God said to Jonah, arise and go to Nineveh and cry against it.
Go to Nineveh and tell them...
That judgment is coming upon their city because of their sin.
And Jonah, instead of getting up and going east, Jonah got up and went west.
And I'll tell you why.
He was a reluctant missionary.
And before you're too hard on Jonah, I want you to know this.
Yes, this room is full of reluctant missionaries.
We forget that missionaries are not just a certain group of people that come to our churches and tell us about a burden that they have for some place in the world.
And then we agreed to support them and send them off on a mission.
Listen, that's not a missionary.
Don't miss what I'm going to tell you.
The word Christian and the word missionary are synonymous.
If you are a Christian, you are a missionary.
Whether you like it or not.
And we all have a mandate.
The Bible told us, go into all the world and preach the gospel.
Every believer has a mandate.
And God had given Jonah a mandate to go to Nineveh, that great city.
Now why did God call Nineveh a great city?
Well it was great for a couple reasons.
Number one, it was great in population.
Nineveh was a huge city.
You'll see at the end of the book that there were six score thousand persons.
That's a bunch of people.
All right, we're coming right back.
In his well-known devotional, My Upmost for His Highest, Oswald Chambers asks, Are you ready to be offered?
Paul writes in Philippians 2.17, I am glad and rejoice with you all.
Are we willing to be offered for the work of the faithful?
Are we willing to bind our worldly selves to the sacrificial altar to have the things of the flesh removed?
The altar means fire, burning and purification and the removal of everything that God has not started and of every attachment that is not an attachment to God.
If we wish to experience the fullness of God working in us and through us, The things of the world must be removed.
As Chambers says, tell God you are ready to be offered, and God will prove himself to be all you ever dreamed he would be.

I never knew there'd come a day When I'd be saying to you Don't let this good love slip away Now that we know that it's true Don't, don't you know the kind of man I am?
No, no, no, no I never fall in love again But it's real And the feeling comes shining through I'm so confident you Little girl That I never did to spare that I think so Welcome back to this forum talk radio.
I'm your host, Craig James.
We're going right back to Pastor Dean Miller and his sermon from the book of Jonah about the mission miracle.
Six score thousand people.
That's about 120,000 people that cannot discern between their right hand and their left hand.
So what most commentators will tell you is that this is about 120,000 infants in this city.
This was a city that was gigantic in population.
It was big in size.
It was massive in power.
It was the capital city of the Assyrian Empire.
It was a massive city, a powerful city, and it was not only great in population and great in size and great in power, but it was great in wickedness.
It was a vile and wicked city.
And God had told Jonah to go there and to cry against it.
And it seemed as though that God was angry with Nineveh.
That God was angry with them and that God wanted to destroy them.
But I will tell you that if you read the story out, now listen to me, if you read the story out, you're going to find that God was not intent on destroying Nineveh.
He would have, but God was not intent on them.
God would much rather forgive them than to destroy them.
And so God's message to them was, you better repent.
You better wake them up and preach the judgment of God.
I like what Adrian Rogers said once.
He's a pastor now in heaven.
But I've written this in the flyleaf of my Bibles.
It's reminding me as a pastor, when I preach, Adrian Rogers said, if we had more hell in our pulpits, we'd add less of it in our streets.
This nation needs to understand that there's a righteous God and a holy God.
You'd seem to think, if you go to the most American churches, that God is just a buddy up in heaven that just wants to be your pal and your friend and just give you a thumbs up and approve you for everything you do in your life.
You'd forget that God is holy and righteous and just and that the angels are singing holy, holy, holy and that God is of pure eyes to behold iniquity and that God will judge sinners and that God has prepared a place of torment for those who reject Him.
And listen, God is holy and he will not spare sin.
And so God had given Jonah a mandate to go and cry against that city.
Why?
Because he wanted to destroy Sodom?
No.
Or to destroy Nineveh?
No.
He wanted to save Nineveh.
We live in a great wicked nation today.
And I will tell you that God is going to say the same thing about America.
America is under the judgment of God.
And we are already given over to uncleanness and to reprobate minds.
This nation has lost its ever-loving mind.
And this nation is steeped in sin.
And our churches have watered down the gospel.
And God wants us to cry against the sin of the land.
Why?
Not because God is angry with us, but God wants to deliver us and save us from our sin.
Everybody with me on that?
And so, God is angry at sin, but God wants to save us.
He wants to save sinners.
And so, God, listen to me, God sent Jonah with a mandate.
Go and cry against that city.
Why?
Listen to me, don't miss this.
Because God had a heartbeat for Nineveh.
God had a heartbeat for Nineveh.
God has a heartbeat for America.
God has a heartbeat for Asia.
God desires men to be saved.
God would much rather forgive than to judge.
And what does God say to you?
What has God said to you, believer?
He has said to you to go into all the world and preach the gospel.
And to do that to every creature.
To be a Christian is to be a missionary.
You and I have a mandate.
Now, let me just tell you very quickly that some people do not believe that God wants to save everybody.
There is a certain doctrine that says that God only saves the elect.
That God chooses who will be saved and chooses who won't be saved.
And that doctrine has been debated among Christianity for the last 500 years.
And I would just tell you right now, without any stutter, without any hesitation, listen to me, that is a cancer to the church.
It breeds nothing more than intellectual arrogance that says, I am one of God's elect, and I know what God knows, and I know what God thinks, and I'm going to tell you something, it is a grappling with the idea of, let's put the onus back on God for who's going to be saved.
Let's tell God that it's up to Him to save who He will and that I have no responsibility in it.
Well, friend, let me just tell you something.
You can try to make God be the blame for people not knowing the gospel when He has mandated you to go and preach the gospel to every creature.
You know what Jesus said?
Jesus said, follow me and I will make you to be fishers of men.
No man has a right.
Listen to what I'm going to say right now.
No man has a right to call himself a follower of Christ who's not fishing for men.
So, we have already discovered right off the bat, and I can just tell you by some of the response, that we have reluctant missionaries among us.
And Jonah was one.
And oftentimes I've been one.
And you have too.
And Jonah didn't want to go.
And so Jonah disobeyed the mandate to go into the world and to preach the gospel.
He disobeyed that.
And I want to tell you something.
Disobedience has a cost.
Disobedience cost everybody around Jonah.
Look at verse 4. But the Lord sent out a great wind into the sea and there was a mighty tempest in the sea so that the ship was like to be broken and the mariners were afraid and cried every man unto his God and cast forth the wares that were in the ship into the sea to lighten it of them.
But Jonah was gone down into the sides of the ship and he lay and was fast asleep.
Let me tell you, Jonah's disobedience cost every one of those men on that ship.
It was about to cost them their lives.
They were all fearful that they were going to die.
This great storm comes about to break this ship.
The men begin to throw their stuff overboard.
Think about this.
This ship had set off to go to Tarshish to sell these wares.
This was a merchant ship.
This was a ship that was going to make money off of this merchandise.
And now they're throwing it in.
Think of the cost that it made to these men and their families and their livelihood.
There was great cost for Jonah's disobedience.
There was great cost for the people of Nineveh.
Think about the people during this time of Jonah's disobedience when he was running from God.
Think of the people in Nineveh who died and never got to hear the message of repentance.
It cost them a great deal.
They never had an opportunity to repent.
Our disobedience costs.
And by the way, our disobedience costs the people that are around us.
When we disobey God and the things that He wants us to do, there's a cost to that.
Not only to those around Him, but there was a cost to Jonah.
Jonah had to pay the fare of this ship.
Jonah had brought money out of his pocket to pay to go this way.
And then Jonah got thrown into the sea and he got swallowed by this monster.
And Jonah spent three days and three nights in the perils of death.
And Jonah, it cost Jonah a great deal.
Disobedience always costs you.
I remember when God was dealing with my heart and I wasn't willing to accept that.
And I got a call from this church, from the pulpit committee of this church.
And I had a message to call this pulpit committee back.
And I thought about, I have no desire to go to Colorado.
I have no desire to go.
I'm happy where I'm at.
I'm happy in the church.
I've got a beautiful house.
I've got a good church.
We have a fruitful ministry here.
And I did not have a desire to go.
But I will tell you something right now.
God made it crystal clear that this is where I was to be and we had to make a move of obedience.
I will tell you, my disobedience, had I disobeyed God in that calling, it would have cost.
It would have cost many people who've been saved over these last few years here.
It would have cost our church there.
I would have been a disobedient pastor in that place.
It would have cost me.
There's a cost to disobedience.
Let me tell you this.
God has called us to obedience.
To know Him is to love Him.
To love Him is to trust Him.
To trust Him is to obey Him.
And to obey Him is to be blessed.
There was a song we used to sing often in church, trust and obey.
For there's no other way to be happy in Jesus than to trust and obey.
Let me ask you a question, is your life in obedience to God this morning?
God has given you a mandate.
And if you are disobedient, it's going to cost you.
But not just you, but others around you.
Others are going to pay the price for our disobedience.
And Jonah...
And I believe today that we have many believers who are disobedient to the mandates that God has put in our life.
And we are reluctant missionaries.
So that's the mandate.
Let me give you number two.
I want you to see the missionary message.
When God gives you a mandate...
And as he has to all of us to go preach the gospel, God has one message for you, and that's the gospel of Jesus Christ.
All right, now let me ask you a question.
How many of you believe that the gospel message is the death and the burial and the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead?
How many of you believe that's the gospel?
The gospel is the death and the burial and the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Listen, friends, listen.
The only way that a man can be saved is to put his faith in the death of Jesus Christ, that he died for you.
And that he was buried and that he rose again from the dead.
That is the gospel.
The good news of Jesus Christ is that he died for the sins of the whole world and that he was buried and that he rose again from the dead.
That is the gospel.
And Jonah is going to preach that gospel.
And I want you to see it.
Look at chapter 2 and look at verse 11. Then they said unto him, What shall we do unto thee?
Now they're in this great storm.
The ship is about to be broken apart.
They're throwing everything they can into the sea.
And they say to Jonah, What shall we do unto thee, that the sea may be calm unto us?
For the sea wrought and was tempestuous.
And he said unto them, Take me up and cast me forth into the sea, so shall the sea be calm unto you.
For I know that for my sake this great tempest is upon you.
Nevertheless, the men rode hard to bring it to the land, but they could not, for the sea wrought and was tempestuous against them.
them wherefore they cried unto the Lord and said we beseech thee O Lord we beseech thee let us not perish for this man's life and lay not upon us innocent blood for thou O Lord has done as it pleased thee so they took up Jonah and they cast him forth into the sea and the sea ceased from her raging now I want you to see the story of this This is a picture that Jesus himself called back to as a picture of the gospel.
Jesus said to those people in Matthew chapter 12, I will not give you a sign other than the sign of Jonah.
That Jonah's life was a testimony of the gospel.
What you're going to see right here is that these men on that boat were in jeopardy of their lives.
They were going to perish.
They were going to die.
And they were doing everything they could desperately to stay alive.
The first thing they did was they began to cry out to their God.
They begin to pray to their gods.
I will tell you, I just came back from Asia, and Asia is a region of this world steeped in idolatry.
Idols everywhere.
Hinduism, Buddhism, all of these idols to these false gods.
I want to tell you something I noticed when I was there, all these idols.
These idols are angry at the people.
They all have very ferocious faces.
There are serpents and snakes and beasts and things on these idols that are just angry with the people.
I want to tell you, thank God for Jesus who opens his arms and says, Come unto me, all you that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
He is a God, not like their gods.
They are crying out.
I think of those servants of Baal on the mountain cutting themselves and ripping at their flesh to appease their God.
He said, I want you to offer.
Their gods say, you offer your blood to me.
And our God offered his blood for us.
What a distinction between our God.
But notice this.
This is a picture of salvation.
These men are in peril of death.
They're about to die.
So they cry out to their gods.
But they get no answer.
So what do they do?
They begin to throw their wares off of the ship.
Trying to lighten the ship.
This is what men do today.
Men pray to their gods to be saved.
But that doesn't work.
And so what do they do to be saved?
Well, they start giving things up.
They say, I'll give up drinking.
I'll give up pornography.
I'll give up my party lifestyle.
I'll give up this sin.
I'll give up that sin.
And they're trying to lighten their load to save themselves.
Listen, you cannot give up enough sin.
There's not enough wares on this boat to throw off to save yourself.
There is nothing on this boat that you can lighten the load.
Men cannot be saved by giving up sin.
And then the other thing that you see, is you see them rowing hard.
They begin to row.
This is what many are doing today in religion.
They're working to be saved.
They're rowing to be saved.
They're toiling to be saved.
Trying to live by good works.
Let me tell you, good works cannot save you.
You cannot row hard enough.
You cannot work fast enough.
You cannot be good enough.
You cannot get rid of enough sin.
Your gods cannot save you.
Listen, there was only one thing that would save them, and that was the substitutionary death of Jonah.
A picture of the substitutionary death of Christ.
Notice that Jonah did not jump off the boat.
Jonah was offered up.
He was thrown off the boat.
It was a picture of our Lord's substitutionary death.
His life for ours.
The moment that he was offered up, the storm ceased.
And now Jonah goes down in the fish.
A picture of burial and death.
He goes down.
Three days and three nights.
And then look over at chapter 2. And look at verse 10. And the Lord spake unto the fish, and it vomited out Jonah on the dry land.
You know, even a fish like that can't stomach a backslidden preacher.
And that fish just popped him out there.
And Jonah came out of that fish.
And what is this?
This is a picture, according to the Lord Jesus in Matthew chapter 12, this is a picture of the Lord's supernatural resurrection.
Alright, stay tuned.

Welcome back to Just Form Talk Radio.
We're going back to Pastor Dean Miller and his sermon from the book of Jonah.
Jonah is a picture of the resurrection.
What was the message?
What was the message of the missionary?
The message was the death and the burial and the resurrection of Christ.
That only through death of a substitute, only through the burial of the substitute, and only through resurrection can men be saved.
And Jonah had the mission message.
Now, let me tell you something.
I believe this.
I believe this story.
The apostle Paul stood before one of the kings in Acts chapter 26 and he said, Why should it be thought a thing incredible with you that God should raise the dead?
Some people look at this story and they say, Can you really believe that's true?
There was a president of a southwestern seminary that was driving home.
He had preached this sermon one time.
He was the president of the southwestern theological seminary.
He was driving home and his little boy said to him, Daddy, do you really believe that story?
And his daddy said, yes I do son.
He said, daddy how could that be?
How could Jonah be swallowed by a fish and live for three days and then come out alive?
How could that be?
And he said, well son, God did that.
He said, you don't think God could do it?
He said, well when you throw God into it, I guess it's possible.
Now listen, when you put God into it, it is possible.
If you can get by Genesis chapter 1 verse 1, the rest of the Bible has no problem to you.
If God could create the heavens and the earth, there's nothing that God cannot do.
If God can bring everything out of something, God can bring Jonah out of a fish.
God brought him out of the fish and his story in the likeness of the resurrection.
Let me tell you something.
If any man is going to be saved, it's going to be through the death and burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
I was on this trip in the Philippines and I had a man sit down with me.
He's from a very idolatrous nation.
And he's a very sincere believer.
But he said to me, he said, Do you really believe that if somebody all their life believed in their God, And they gave everything they had to their God.
They lived in sacrifice to their God.
They lived in sincerity to their God.
And they died.
Do you really think that they would go to hell?
And I said, not only do I think it, I know they would.
I said, the Bible says that there is no other name given among men whereby we must be saved.
Jesus said, I am the way and the truth and the life and no man comes to the Father but by me.
And you know, it's easy for us to sit back and say, well, I just don't see that that's fair.
And listen, we're saying that while many of us are reluctant missionaries.
We have the message, but we are disobedient to the mandate.
And Jonah had the message.
So do you get it?
The message.
Number three, very quickly.
I want you to see the miracle.
Here's the miracle.
Look at chapter 3 verse 1. Notice this.
I love it.
That there was a second chance.
God gave Jonah a second chance.
And I want you to know that the minute the miracle The miracle of this story is not Jonah and the fish.
That's not the miracle of Jonah.
The miracle of Jonah of this story, the miracle of this book that we just read today, the miracle is not Jonah and the whale.
The miracle is the grace of God.
That God would desire to give Nineveh a second chance.
And that God would give Jonah a second chance.
Don't you think for one minute that God is not a gracious God?
Thank God for a second chance.
Thank God that he's a God of the second chance.
Go with me to Jeremiah out into the potter's field and watch the potter as he makes that vessel.
And then God said, Jeremiah, watch it and see that vessel marred in the hand of the potter.
And notice what he does.
He doesn't just discard it.
He just makes it again, another vessel.
God is the God of a second chance.
Go with me to John Mark and see that young man, John Mark, surrender to missions and go on his first missionary journey only to become discouraged and homesick and fearful and to quit and to go back home.
And yet, later, Barnabas says, let's take John Mark with us.
And Paul said, never, I'm not taking that loser with us.
He's a quitter.
And Paul didn't have grace on it.
But God had grace on John Mark.
And you can open up your Bible to the Gospel of Mark and read how...
You can see how he became profitable in the ministry.
Why?
Because God is the God of second chance.
Go with me and look at Peter.
Look at old Simon out there standing at that fire, cursing with a teenage girl, denying Jesus Christ and being derailed in his faith by fear and discouragement.
And notice Simon as he denies Jesus three times before the rooster ever crows and notice him out weeping.
But see the Lord Jesus as he goes to find him.
One of my favorite verses in all the Bible is when Jesus, after he came out of the grave, told Mary, he said, Martha, or Mary rather, go and tell my disciples and Peter.
Go tell Peter.
To meet me in Jerusalem.
And what does God do?
God takes old denying Simon and turns him into Pentecostal Peter.
And he preaches and thousands are saved.
And God is the God of a second chance.
Some of you are sitting here today.
Listen to me.
You've been saved for decades and you've never won a soul to Christ.
You've never shared the gospel with anybody.
And God will give you a second chance.
You might be 60, 70, 80 years old.
But God will give you a chance to be able to carry his gospel to somebody and see new life in them.
God has given some of you a second chance today.
You're unsaved.
You're lost in your sins.
And if you die today, you'll go to hell.
But God's given you another chance today to hear a preacher preach the gospel to you.
Thank God that God is the God of a second chance.
God gives you a chance.
God gave Nineveh a chance.
God gave Jonah a chance.
And I want to say that the miracle of this message is the grace of God.
Now, I just tell you that God will give America a second chance.
Jeremiah chapter 18 and verse 7 is a verse I pray often over this country.
In Jeremiah 18, 7, God said this.
Listen, this is the words of God.
Here's what He said.
In what instant I speak concerning a nation and concerning a kingdom to pluck up and to pull down and to destroy it.
If that nation against whom I have pronounced turn from their evil, I will repent of the evil that I thought.
God said, if I speak judgment on a nation and say, I'm going to destroy that nation, if that nation will repent, God said, I'll repent.
God doesn't change.
God didn't change his mind, but Nineveh changed their mind, and Nineveh came back to the Lord and was restored in the grace of God.
God will always show himself merciful to those who repent.
If you're here today and you're lost in your sin, God will show you mercy if you'll come to Him today.
He'll receive you.
Now let me close with this today.
We saw the missionary mandate and we saw the reluctant missionary.
We saw the miracle or the message of missions is the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ.
And we see today the missionary...
Just a moment ago, we saw the Lord as He gave Jonah the miracle of missions, which was not the fish, it was His grace.
Aren't you glad that God's grace?
You know the miracle of God's grace.
What a joy it is to be saved today.
Billions are lost.
Julianne and I drove through those streets of Manila.
I saw things and smelled things and heard things and experienced things I had never seen before in my life.
We saw people stacked so high.
We drove through a city in Seoul, Korea on a layover.
We came out of the airport, went through Seoul, Korea.
And we saw an entire row that looked like an entire downtown of Manhattan, but it's nothing but apartment complexes, 30 to 50 stories high.
Each building, the missionary told us, each building averages 10,000 people per building.
And we saw buildings as far as we could see them.
And I'm just thinking of the millions in Seoul, and the millions in Manila, and the millions in Hong Kong, and the millions in Los Angeles, and the millions in this world.
Think about this, the millions.
And yet here you are, sitting with a Bible in your hand, in a Bible-preaching church, with God's people around you.
How in the world did God's grace come to you?
What a miracle that you've heard the gospel.
Alright, we're coming right back.

Welcome back to Just Form Talk Radio.
We're going right back over to Pastor Dean Miller from Front Range Baptist Church and his sermon on the book of Jonah.
We drove by those Buddhist temples in Korea and we watched the people bringing their rice and their food and heard the chants of the Buddhist monks as they knelt before those altars and those lifeless idols and gave their lives to them.
What a shame!
That millions and billions of people on this planet have never heard, and yet, the grace of God, God has given you grace.
That's the miracle of grace.
But I want you to see the motive of it.
Here's the motive.
Look at the motive of missions.
Look at chapter 4. But it displeased Jonah exceedingly, and he was very angry.
I mean, the whole Nineveh, all of Nineveh got saved, and Jonah's angry.
And he prayed unto the Lord and said, I pray thee, O Lord, was not this my saying when I was yet in my country?
Therefore I fled before thee unto Tarshish.
For I knew that thou art a gracious God and merciful, slow to anger and of great kindness and repentest thee of the evil.
Therefore now, O Lord, take, I beseech thee, my life from me.
For it is better for me to die than to live.
Then said the Lord, dost thou well to be angry?
So Jonah went out of the city and sat on the east side of the city and there made him a booth and sat under it in the shadow till he might see what would become of the city.
And the Lord God prepared a gourd and made it come up over Jonah that it might be a shadow, a shade over his head to deliver him from his grief.
So Jonah was exceedingly glad for the gourd.
But God prepared a worm.
When the morning rose the next day and it smote the gourd that it withered and it came to pass when the sun did rise that God prepared of him in the east wind and the sun beat upon the head of Jonah that he fainted and wished in himself to die and he said, It is better for me to die than to live.
And God said to Jonah, Dost thou well to be angry for the gourd?
And he said, I do well to be angry even unto death.
Then said the Lord, Thou hast had pity on the gourd for the which thou hast not labored, neither made it to grow.
Which came up in a night and perished in a night.
In other words, it was here today and gone tomorrow.
Jonah, angry that God would have mercy on the Ninevites.
He wanted those Ninevites to die.
He didn't like those people.
They were a different race.
They spoke a different language.
They had a different culture.
They believed in different gods and he saw them as their enemy and he wanted God to rain down fire and he said, God, I didn't want to go because I knew if I went and I knew if I preached, you would have loving kindness and grace to them and you would save them.
I didn't want them to be saved.
We can cut this however we want to cut this, but let me just tell you something right now.
Jonah's motive was selfish.
He was all about himself.
And God points out here, watch this, that Jonah had more love for a gourd than he did for souls.
And I just want to tell you today that I believe that's where we are.
In our American churches, we have more love for our comfort.
We have more love for our entertainment.
Our comfort and ease.
This gourd is my shade.
It's my shadow.
It keeps the heat off my head.
And we're living for things that are here today and gone tomorrow.
We are more in love with our cars and our houses and our money and our career and our jobs.
We're so self-consumed with all of our conveniences and comforts that we love what we have more than we love those around us.
And God said, Jonah, you're angry over a gourd?
Jonah's motive was selfish, but let me tell you, God's motive was love.
God loved the people of Nineveh.
They didn't know Him.
They were in their wickedness.
They were rejecting Him in their service of other idols, and yet God loved them enough to send Jonah to them, to warn them so that God could save them.
God loved sinners.
Thank God that God sent Jesus into this world to save sinners.
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptation that God has sent Christ Jesus into the world to save sinners.
I want to thank God today that the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared unto all men for God who would have all men everywhere to be saved.
And God is not slack concerning His promises as some men count slackness but is longsuffering to usward not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance whosoever will may come.
God loves people.
But we love ourselves.
We love our comfort.
There are young people in this church that God may put a call in your heart to go somewhere to reach people and you say, but I don't want to leave home.
I don't want to leave the comforts of America.
I don't want to leave the comforts of my family.
I don't want to follow what God wants me to do.
And I will tell you, we become disobedient.
Because we're in love with the gourd.
We're in love with these temporary pleasures of this life.
May I just tell you that we only have one life.
One life will soon be passed and only what's done for Christ will last.
Christians sit in churches like this in America and we heard over and over and over and over again in the Philippines about being a cheerful giver from people who had nothing.
But they had the blessings of God and we heard the stories of how God took care of them.
Stories of how God Just abundantly bless them through their giving.
It was amazing.
I just sat in awe to see people who had so little that really, listen, they didn't just believe it to be a children's story when the lad gave his lunch.
That's all they had.
They had five loaves and two fishes to give to God, but they've watched God do abundant things with their little gifts.
They identified with the widow who gave her two mites, and they said, we don't have a lot, but we have mites.
We can give a little, and we'll give what we have cheerfully, and yet we come in our country, and we have so much, and yet we give so little.
I mean, we've got believers that will sit in churches like this week in and week out.
You'll hear Bible messages.
You'll hear a preacher preach.
You'll have opportunities to be in a church with ministries.
And connection groups and fellowship and you'll go in the hospital and people bring food and we love one another and care for one another and we have all the conveniences and blessings of a church and yet we don't tithe.
There are believers who get upset if the preacher ever preached on money.
And I'll tell you why.
Don't mess with my God.
I love my gourd.
And we love our gourd more than we love the souls of me.
Let me tell you what God is motivated by.
God is motivated by love.
It's the love of God.
Paul said it was the love of Christ that constrained me.
May I tell you today that we have a nation to reach for Christ.
Our nation is in dire straits.
This is a great nation.
Great in population, great in power, great in wealth, and great in wickedness.
And God is sending us to cry against it, to share the gospel with Him.
All right, we're coming back.
back.
Stay tuned.

Music by Ben Thede
Music by Ben Thede All right, just form talk radio.
Let's wrap up Pastor Dean Miller and his sermon from the book of Jonah.
God has given us the mandate.
God has given us the message.
God has given us the miracle of his grace.
He'll save anyone who will come.
But what's our motive?
What's our motive today?
I would just tell you, these last 10 days, I was acutely aware of my selfishness.
I was acutely aware of my first world problems.
And I was ashamed of myself a number of times.
I found myself saying something one time to our missionary friend that was taking us around.
I said something to him that was such a petty grievance, an inconvenience on my part.
And when I said it, he so...
Graciously tried to make do for us.
And when it was all said and done, I thought, what a shame that we are so in love with ease and comfort.
I mean, I don't have to live here.
I just got to sacrifice for a few days.
And I wonder if we have become complacent under our gourd.
And we've just not let God have His way with our life.
What does God want for you today?
What does God want?
We've got young people here that are so consumed with their own desires, their own lusts, their own appetites, that we're not willing to hear from God, surrender to the Lord.
And I want to just tell you, parents, let's raise.
Some kids that can fall in love with God and not our gourd.
Not just what we get from God, but fall in love with the giver and not just the gift.
Not just to seek his hand, but to seek his face and to know his heart.
Hey, you know, these people that we are against, our nation is so politically divided that we easily become a nation where we hate one another.
But do you know that there's not one person on either side of the aisle that God hates, God loves men, and God wants all men everywhere to be saved?
And you actually might have to talk to somebody who's on the other side of the political spectrum from you and sit down with them and share the gospel of Jesus Christ with them.
But we're going to have to come out from underneath our gourd to do it.
Now here's the mission's miracle.
The fact that God would even want to save Nineveh in the first place.
And the fact that God would even want to use Jonah in the first place.
What a miracle that we have a God who loves us and who will use us and call us if we give ourselves to him.
What would God want to do with you today?
Our heads are bowed, our eyes are closed.
Lord, I thank you for your word today.
I thank you for speaking to my heart.
Lord, I thank you for the conviction that I have felt the last two weeks of my life.
I've been removed from some of the ease and convenience of our country.
And I've been absolutely inundated with the darkness of this world and masses of humanity by the billions who've never heard the gospel.
And Lord, I pray that you'd forgive us for our apathy.
Forgive us, Lord, that our comfort has brought us into a place of we love our pleasure more than lovers of God.
And I pray that today we would be awakened to the fact that you want to save sinners.
And Lord, you want to use us.
Lord, I pray that we would be faithful to your calling, that we would be people.
All right.
Amen.
We'll be back.
Stay tuned.
Last week I talked about the five traditional ways to get startup capital when you're building a new business.
And I rather firmly announced that bootstrapping was by far the best way to do it.
Bootstrapping is when you reach into the mud, you pick your foot up with your shoelaces, and move your foot forward using your hands.
The mud is that deep.
It describes a long, hard process of starting a business with no money, but it's by far the best way to do it.
This week, I'm going to show you five ways to bootstrap and get started with no money.
I'll give you the first way right after this.
Just like you can get used to feeling bad, you can get used to feeling good again when you use the LifeWave X39 patch.
This is not something you take or swallow or inject.
This patented LifeWave patch technology uses your body's own light energy to repair telomere ends and reactivate dormant stem cells to heal all the cells in your body so you can heal like you did during your youth.

And thanks to HughesNet for being a sponsor.
All right.
Now, we have a lot more information to get through here today.
I want to get through some of these bigger stories, some of the stories that have been sort of percolating through the Internet, as it were.
You know, an interesting couple of stories from over the weekend.
Apparently F-16s or fighter jets have been scrambled multiple times to deal with planes encroaching in the no-fly zone over Mar-a-Lago in West Palm Beach.
I mean, this should not be a shocker to anyone, but it seems as though the radical left is becoming more radicalized.
And I know.
It's something that...
We've never seen before, and of course I'm joking, we see it all the time, but it's getting worse and worse.
Now, I'm not saying that these planes are related to radical left terror plots, per se, but I am saying that, you know, the storylines that were being fed continue to create this radicalization that we have to deal with on a daily basis.
For instance, You know, you have that story becoming an issue for the Secret Service.
You have some wild person storming the White House over the weekend.
It seems in being shot after it seems as though he was intent upon being suicided by cop.
That was his intention, I guess.
He was shot during an armed confrontation outside the White House that police sources have revealed.
The suspect is a 27-year-old Andrew Dossett of Indiana.
Indiana police also noted that they informed D.C. authorities that Dossett was driving to the Washington, D.C. area and was suicidal.
And this is only going to escalate.
I hate to say it.
I really do.
I don't want this to be the case, but it is.
Where you have all of these different factors coming together, you're seeing radical groups take bigger and more egregious steps in amplifying the rhetoric, the violent rhetoric.
I fear that this will only continue to grow, and it will become an issue for all of us that we'll have to deal with.
And I know a lot of us, perhaps, at this point, may be saying, huh, you know, I don't see a problem where I'm at, so there must not be a problem.
And that might be true, but if you'll recall in the build-up to the summer of love in 2020 and 2019, late 2019, Where you had Black Lives Matter become this ubiquitous movement of racial division that was amplified beyond anyone's imagination to the point where entire cities were being overtaken by these violent mobs.
This is what they're building up to.
That will be the highlight reel for what's ahead.
And how do I know this?
Well, because they've all but...
They've told us what they're going to do.
They've made it clear that just as in the first presidential term of Trump, they created the resistance, which evolved into the Antifa movement, which then sort of evolved into Black Lives Matter and so on until...
You had violent mobs roaming the streets, burning down cities and causing mayhem and extorting entire city populations into the political will of the violent, outspoken minority mobs, which then in turn led to, of course, COVID being declared.
And then, of course, we all saw what happened from there.
So, this is what I see happening.
I mean, the kind of rhetoric that they're coming up with on the left as well is just, it never ceases to amaze me.
But one of the new moves they're doing is organizing these attacks on certain symbolic structures and institutions and places.
For instance, we have this new example of a domestic terror group forming against Elon Musk, right?
Now, I don't like Elon Musk, but do I think that...
Going to Tesla dealerships and vandalizing them and causing damage.
It's all a form of political violence.
And it is, in fact, a very dangerous and vitriolic type of violence that they're putting forth.
But they've come out and admitted it.
You know, the head of this organization says that she was inspired by the Luigi Mangione character.
You guys know him, the assassin of the UnitedHealthcare CEO. That is who inspired her to basically start an internet group of individuals who come together and decide on how to target Tesla dealerships, right?
On behalf of the disaffected but highly vocal minority that wants to make sure that you know how they feel.
Like a toddler throwing a tantrum but far more dangerous because these are adults with weapons.
That's what we're dealing with here.
And I have a feeling it's going to continue to escalate.
But we'll get into that and much more when we come back.
Stay tuned.
as you're listening to JustInformTalk Radio.
Hello, everybody in Northern Colorado.
You're all looking good.
I knew you would.
Keep listening to AM 1360, the roar of the Rockies, the best station ever.
In his well-known devotional, My Upmost for His Highest, Oswald Chambers asks, Are you ready to be offered?
Paul writes in Philippians 2.17, Even if I am to be poured out as a drink offering upon the sacrificial offering of your faith, I am glad and rejoice with you all.
As Chambers says, tell God you are ready to be offered and God will prove himself to be all you ever dreamed he would be.

We'll be right back.
Welcome back to Just Forum Talk Radio.
I am your host, Craig James.
Now, I was telling you about this individual, Valerie Costa of Seattle, Washington, who recently came out and just openly admitted that what they're doing with these Tesla business vandalism campaign was inspired by the criminal...
Let me play a little clip of this for you guys here.
Here, listen to this.
It was also tapping into some of that spirit.
Let me play it for you guys.
Hold on.
Now, maybe we could start off with a little bit of, can you just actually tell us what Tesla Takedown is?
Yeah.
It's not Takedown Tesla, it's Tesla Takedown.
Tesla Takedown.
Yeah, there's a website called teslatakedown.com, which is a website you can go to, get some background on the campaign, and it essentially isn't a map where anybody in the world can put an action up or targeting Tesla.
And so I've been involved in that campaign, and in particular, planning actions in the Seattle area targeting Tesla.
In Tesla Takedown, there's a spirit out there, which is already, as we saw with Luigi Mangione.
There's a spirit which is very anti-corporate, very anti-billionaire, very anti-elite.
And Tesla Takedown is also tapping into some of that spirit as well.
Oh, for sure.
Yeah, I would say it's just what I've noticed being involved in organizing in the Seattle area for some time, especially after the election and the inauguration, people were like, what do we do?
We don't want to just waste our energy protesting for the sake of protesting.
Especially in Seattle, and I would say on the West Coast, I'm sure it's true of many places, we're really far from the center of power in government, and I think as it became clear that Elon Musk was taking on this outsized role at the federal level, totally, I would say, criminal role nationally,
Val, maybe we can start off with a little bit of...
Can you just actually tell us what time?
All right.
So, sorry, I had to play that from my phone because it's a little technical difficulty here at the station.
But it looks like X might be down right now, as a matter of fact, which is where I got that clip.
But the funniest thing is, I mean, what do you know?
It's this person, Valerie Costa, who may or may not be a man, I honestly don't know.
These people are so androgynous now, and I don't know if that's on purpose or not.
She sounds like a woman, maybe a woman, who knows, might be a man.
We just don't know.
But I'll tell you this, this person seems to have a website where they, you know, organize the takedown of Tesla.
You know, organizing malicious, malevolent action against Elon Musk.
Now, I don't know if you have the categorical definition of terrorism in front of you.
But this strikes me as a bit of a domestic terror organization, if you will, if their whole intent and goal is to provide a forum from which people can plan attacks against a private corporate business entity in the United States by posting stories and accounts of their malevolent acts.
I don't know.
Maybe the FBI is listening.
Maybe the FBI wants to, I don't know, open an investigation.
Maybe the Seattle FBI office, you know, if it's not too busy with DEI, woke, whatever propaganda nonsense they're working on there.
Maybe they would like to investigate this organizer who has a website where people go to plot terror attacks against Tesla dealerships and other Elon Musk-funded operations.
I don't know.
It's kind of like one of those things where I don't know what the FBI does sometimes.
I have to ask.
It's like, what are we really doing here?
Because you'd think this would be on the list of priorities.
I understand Cash is in control now.
That's good.
I understand Dan Bongino's there now.
That's good.
I understand that Trump's given issued directives.
That's good.
You know, get rid of the DEI stuff.
That's all good.
But...
You know, I guess if you're not going to arrest all the people who were being blackmailed by Epstein, who were doing heinous things to children, the least you could do is maybe investigate Valerie Costa for this seemingly...
Fairly obvious and clear plot to organize domestic terror operations in the United States and facilitate a campaign of terror that is meant to be a direct threat against Elon Musk, who I don't like, to be honest.
It's the funniest thing when you have to advocate on behalf of people you don't like, but I don't personally like Elon that much.
I think he's a self-serving billionaire who has little to no value besides, I give credit where it's due with the Doge stuff.
I think it's very important what he's doing, and if he didn't do it, I would imagine somebody else would, but he's taken on that task, so good on him.
The idea that this person is sitting on a Skype or a Zoom interview or something, telling presumably the whole world that they're organizing this domestic terror campaign with some fun little Pinterest-type website of how we blog about our violent actions.
It just shows you how far gone this country has really gone.
You know, how far gone it really is.
When you look around, especially like Seattle, Washington, these areas where there is just so much rabid anti...
I want to say anti-conservative, but it's really just anti-American.
Propaganda.
You know, these people, I think it's Communist China involved.
I think they play a huge part in it.
I know you say, Craig, that's far-fetched and crazy, but I think that the propaganda and the influence that has been exerted on parts of our nation, particularly deep blue cities by the Communist Chinese Party, is very pronounced.
And it's not just China.
I mean, any and every country who we see as an adversary and some who we see as quote-unquote allies seem to have an interest in causing division and discord inside of our nation because it weakens us.
And as it weakens us, since we are the predominant power in the nation, the more it weakens us, the better it makes these other nations' chance at...
Superseding us, which is what they all want to do, to surpass us.
So when they see an opportunity, they infiltrate and disseminate propaganda and create these movements.
It's not a novel concept and it's not far-fetched.
It is prevalent and apparent, particularly in these regions of the nation, these deep blue cities like Seattle, where you saw.
What happened during 2020?
It was a complete you-know-what show with everything from the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone, known as CHAZ, where they basically had a sect of Antifa declare their own sovereign nation within the United States, within one of the largest cities of the United States.
I believe that was in Seattle.
It may have been Portland, but I'm pretty sure it was in Seattle.
They went on to, you know, have a slew of crimes happen within their territory that was blocked off to police, and it became a lawless and anarchic, is that the word?
You know, complete nightmare, a hellscape, if you will, which ended with, you know, many people being injured.
Many lives being lost or affected negatively for the better part of the rest of their lives.
And of course, you know, they don't take any responsibility or accountability.
They just move on to the next thing to destroy because they have this poisonous ideology sown within them, this communist, socialist, sort of hybrid, utopian...
You know, nightmare, which they think is the dream for all of us to live in the same filth, squalor, and poverty and mental illness that they endure every day, which, you know, you have compassion for these people to an extent, right?
You have compassion up and to the point in which they are thrusting their deadly, violent ideology upon innocent people and committing heinous crimes against those innocent people to the means, by any violent ideology upon innocent people and committing heinous crimes against those innocent people to the means, by any means necessary, The means justify the ends in their mind.
They don't care how many people they hurt, how many people they kill, how many things they destroy.
If it leads to at some point in the eventual future, their worldview being implemented, they're more than willing to do it.
And this woman, you know, it's the irony of it all, right?
It's watching these decadent, rich liberals from their posh apartments.
Zooming in their television shows about how they run websites where, you know, it's like the latte liberal to the 10th degree telling us about how they have this website where they organize the domestic terror actions.
These people are very dumb.
They think they're untouchable, and I think that mindset has been ingrained after years of them being untouchable.
I mean, it's not, it is no surprise that these people have gone...
Completely gotten drunk with power over the years of nobody intervening to stop them from their criminal enterprises.
And their criminal enterprises just continue to expand and evolve and, you know, grow and become more heinous and nefarious in nature.
And this is just the way it is, it seems.
Perhaps the FBI should be investigating Valerie Costa.
I'm not sure.
I mean, it'd be a shame if people were to write in to the tip line about starting or opening investigations into these people.
I don't know.
But, yeah, her name's Valerie Costa, it seems, from Seattle.
That's according to a post, at least, on X. So, take it with a grain of salt, I guess.
But we have other stories we want to get to today.
And, you know, I'm personally at a point now where I'm trying my best to really get down to the nitty-gritty with what's going on here.
And I guess I'm just...
You get to the point where you see enough to be able to read the writing on the wall.
You know where this is all headed.
I particularly have a good...
Idea where it's headed.
I think it's going to only get worse.
But, that's just a personal opinion.
You guys let me know what you think.

Looking at Denver, particularly, in the last couple minutes of this segment, I want to talk about Denver, particularly when we come back.
So, after Mike Johnson went to Capitol Hill and gave testimony in front of the, I believe it was the House Oversight Committee on the Sanctuary City status in Denver, it's been announced recently.
According to US News and their rankings of US cities, that Denver, Colorado has now been ranked, get this, the 10th most dangerous city in the United States.
Now you ask yourself, Denver, Colorado?
I mean...
Isn't that just, how is that even possible?
Denver's this, you know, quaint little mountain town.
The gateway to the Rockies.
There's nothing nefarious or bad going on there.
Well, Democrats have been running that city for a very long time now.
And like everything else Democrats touched, it all seems to turn to garbage very quickly.
So, we'll talk about it when we come back.
Make sure you guys keep it locked in.

KHNC.com Welcome
back to Just Forum Talk Radio.
I'm your host, Craig James.
And here's the thing.
All right, we're talking about Denver.
And I've got to be honest.
You know, I'm not a native to Colorado.
I haven't lived here my whole life.
I've lived here for many years, though.
I've probably lived in Colorado collectively over the years now for, I don't know, four or five years.
And I've seen a lot.
I've seen kind of the state.
Grow and go in different directions.
And what I've seen while I've been here, particularly in this last couple years that I've been here, is a downward trend, right?
I mean, it's good to see political movements that pop up, but overall, it seems as though the direction Colorado is heading in is in a negative one, right?
And you can attribute that to a number of things, but I think that the one root cause we can all agree on, most likely, is politics.
The political direction this state is heading in has been completely ruined by the individuals who are running the show.
show and those individuals all happen to be a part of one party that is the Democrat Party if you look at the governor Jared Polis to the Secretary of State Jenna Griswold to every one of the minions that go down the line from there are representatives in Congress the representatives in the state house legislature who what majorities run that house etc you know the Democrat had a think they had a supermajority I
I'm not sure if they still have a supermajority or just a strong majority now.
You have a situation unfolding here in Colorado that really does, for all intents and purposes, look bad.
If you're, you know, sort of putting a trajectory on this and trying to predict where this is headed, yeah, it's not looking good.
As I pointed out before we went to the break, U.S. News just came out with their rankings.
And in their rankings, they actually made it very clear that Denver now ranks According to this latest ranking, which, you know, take it, I guess, with a grain of salt, but the fact that we're here says a lot.
It ranks as the 10th most dangerous city in America.
Now, I mean, I guess you could take it as a win that, you know, we're not as deadly as L.A. or San Francisco or...
I don't know, New York or Chicago?
I mean, at least it's not open warfare in the streets like it is in what they call Chirac, aka Chicago.
But the fact that we've slid this far down is and should be an indictment of the leadership that we've had.
But they, of course...
Don't see it that way.
They, of course, will tell you until they're blue in the face that all of their policies are really what's keeping Denver from being even worse, right?
It would be even worse if they weren't in charge.
I mean, could you imagine a world where...
You know, Mike Johnston and Jared Polis weren't controlling Denver and Boulder.
I mean, my gosh, it'd be like you might actually be able to bring your families there.
What a heinous thing.
You know, we don't like families, I guess, in the DEI world because, you know, good old Jared Polis, he's not going to be making any families on his own without the help of some very seedy things.
The thing is, I look at it from a perspective, I don't really, you know, I don't let it get to me, you know, I live kind of out in the country, I'm away from it all, and it was the same thing when I lived in California, where, you know, I saw it, I lived there, I experienced it, but, you know, I had to go to LA to do work and business from time to time, and I had to go to parts of, you know, where I was living, Bakersfield, that were...
Like a third world country, like when you drive through parts of Greeley.
And, you know, yesterday I'm out with my wife and, you know, a homeless man is pleasuring himself in the middle of the road.
And my family had to be exposed to that.
But...
You know, Greeley is conservative, so, you know, I just can't say anything about that other than it's the state politics, I think, that really are negatively affecting every one of the counties, cities, and, you know, other jurisdictions in this region.
So, you know, the downward decline of Denver and this slippery slope that we seem to be...
Heading down, you know, tumbling down headfirst really can come back to policy.
That's what you have to attribute it to.
And some of the policies that have been the most detrimental are, in my opinion, Not just the decriminalization of what should be criminal acts, not just the dissolution of law and order, the passing of these radical left-wing bills for progressive ideas that end up...
It's inevitably always backfiring and then causing more harm than the intended good, which they bring forth in the pitch, right?
They pitch you on it by saying, oh, this is going to make society so safe and good.
But it may, in fact, let child sex predators out early and they don't have to register and then they can live next to you and do heinous things.
I don't think that's a particular example.
example.
I'm just using it as a general example of how some of these progressive policies in general tend to work.
But what we've seen is this complete destruction of Denver.
I have friends who are in, let's just say, I'm just going to say Denver Police.
Not going to say who.
Not going to give away names.
They asked me not to say who they are.
But one of my good friends is a detective, right?
And he's been a detective for a very long time.
I'm not going to say how long.
I'm not going to give away any details.
Identifying information on this person, but I was talking to him, you know, after we were having a conversation, and I was asking him about Denver, you know, what's it like now?
And he said, you know, he said he's been a cop for a very long time, and he said at one point, you know, many years ago...
He felt great.
He would bring his family.
They would go downtown.
It was nice.
It was clean.
It was really a great city.
It was a nice place to be.
I mean, it wasn't perfect, but he felt safe bringing his family there and going and experiencing the shops and everything else.
But he says, you know, now he won't bring his family there.
Because he said that...
It's inundated with homelessness and crime and all kinds of other destructive elements that are dangerous.
And this is an evolution over years, but this is where we're headed as a state.
And there's no amount of virtue signaling that's going to cover up the fact that the proof is in the pudding.
The proof is when you go there.
I went there recently.
Not too long ago, I took my family down to the Denver Zoo, which, you know, was pleasant enough.
And, you know, we decided to go downtown to get dinner afterwards.
And mind you, this is like dinner at like 5 o'clock.
We're not there at 8 p.m., you know, when it's dark and maybe a little seedier.
This is still light out.
It's nice.
And, I mean, there's homeless people, you know, shooting up in the middle of the street.
You can't walk down the sidewalk because there's tents and people laid out across the street.
You know, you're accosted by a homeless person at every corner.
You know, you're trying to eat an ice cream at an ice cream store, and there's a homeless guy digging change out of a fountain in front of you, you know, with his pants hanging down.
It really was like a horror show.
And it was like, who would want to live here?
Who would want to be a part of this community, if you can even call it that?
So, when we come back, I want to play Representative Jason Crow, because, you know, it's all stemming to a large degree to the policies, and one of the policies that's been the most destructive has been the sanctuary city policy.
The idea that we're going to spend millions and tens of millions of dollars on people who aren't citizens to come live here for free?
And then their big solution was, oh, well, we'll just put them on planes and send them to other cities.
This is all, I don't, there's an intention behind it, there's a design to it, we know what that is, but it's all happening, and...
Nothing seems to change.
Anyway, I'll play the clip when we come back.
Stay tuned.

Your host, Craig James.
You know, sometimes I wonder, what will happen to Democrats when Trump's no longer with us?
You know?
Because inevitably, there will come a time in the future when Trump will no longer be in power and he won't even be on this earth with us.
He will be, you know, with his maker.
In that moment, I'm wondering if they will continue to blame Trump for every problem that they've ever had or encountered or been blamed for themselves.
Because this tactic of, you know, deflection and projection, it never ends, right?
From the moment Trump got elected until here we are, what, almost 10 years later, these people...
Particularly Democrats, some Republicans.
There is a uniparty, which I don't like at all.
But these people have done nothing but blame Trump.
For everything.
I mean, it could be raining.
And they would say it's Trump's fault.
And they'd find some convoluted way of talking about climate change and the sun and the fossil fuels.
And it's all Trump's fault.
You know?
And I have to think to myself.
That besides the obvious, which is this is a tactic, again, of deflection and projection to keep you looking at Trump instead of looking at their failures, their abject failures, that how, I mean, the question is how long will this last?
And obviously, it hasn't lasted very long because people are starting to see through it, right?
Couldn't be more clear than to see.
The vote, popular vote in the 2020 election, or 2024 election, is a great example of that.
And I would argue that Trump won the 2020 election, but that's, you know, we're not going to relitigate the past right here.
But people see through it, however they still do it, because they don't know what else to do.
I'll give you an example.
One of the members of Congress, Jason Crow, from the state of Colorado, a hardcore left-wing Democrat.
Who's a vitriolic liar, to be honest.
I mean, I've heard him say the most heinous lies, and he does it repeatedly without any shame.
But that's neither here nor there.
Here he is telling us about Trump's comments on Aurora after, I believe this was his speech, his joint session speech to Congress.
This was his response.
Listen to this.
Last night, Donald Trump once again attacked my community, the district that I'm proud to represent, Aurora, Colorado, you know, my home.
And I just wanted to correct the record.
He has told terrible lies about migrants and refugees.
He uses fear-mongering to divide our community and Americans against each other.
And it's simply not true.
I take public safety very seriously, and I work with local law enforcement and our community leaders to make sure that our community is always safe and no amount of crime is okay.
But for him to attack immigrants and refugees in the way that he did and to say that there was some takeover of our community is false.
Like so many of the things he did last night, they were lies and distortions meant to tear us apart and divide us against each other, and I'm always going to push back against it.
It reminds me of when they used to say, he will not divide us!
Remember that screeching that never ended in 2016?
He will not divide us!
He will not divide us!
They never would shut up about it.
That's the same message.
We're 10 years later and they haven't updated the messaging yet.
He will not divide us!
I take law and criminal law enforcement Very seriously, says Jason Crow, the guy who advocates for, you know, invading our, you know, cities with illegal criminals from other nations that, you know, are part of transnational gangs, cartels, that don't exist.
It's all an illusion.
Except for the...
You know, arrests that have been made of all the gang members and the videos and reports of all the crimes they've committed in our community when they shouldn't even be here in the first place.
But we're a sanctuary city, so, you know, it's all good.
But this is the level of distortion and lies we have to deal with.
This is the level of gaslighting, really.
You know?
It's...
Absolutely mind-numbingly frustrating to deal with the gaslighting that never ends, right?
When you look at people like Jason Crow and what they represent.
And it's not him alone.
He's just enigmatic of or symbolic of a much larger regime that has an agenda.
For I don't know what, I mean, like, I'll give you another example, an anecdotal one, so take it with a grain of salt, but a buddy of mine happens to be a beat cop in Boulder, right?
And you think Boulder, you kind of think hippies, rainbow flags, you know, it's sort of a peaceful, rich, high-end community, and basically it's just modern segregation, class by class, right?
He was telling me that, you know...
They don't care what the homeless people do as cops.
I mean, they do care, but he said, we don't enforce the law like on Pearl Street.
You know, a homeless guy is shooting up in the middle of the day.
You know, a homeless guy is doing, you know, mischievous things, you know, harassing people.
They would arrest him, but it's like, why?
What's the point?
They arrest him, they bring him to the booking at the jail, and then they just release him.
Either that day or the next day.
So he said, we don't arrest him.
But he told me this.
He said, you know, if we get a call in Jared Polis' neighborhood or one of the fancy rich neighborhoods, the ritzy neighborhoods over there in the hills near Boulder in the suburbs, and one of these homeless guys is there, well, you bet your bottom dollar they pick him up, bring him to the jail, and then they get released right there in the city.
Oh, don't go up there where all the rich folk live.
Don't bother them.
Go bother the innocent families trying to, you know, go to the businesses and restaurants along Pearl Street.
Make sure you shoot up extra heroin in front of them.
Make sure that, you know, a family enjoying a lovely day out gets to see you OD on fentanyl and have to be, you know, brought back with Narcam.
Because that's going to make memories that will last.
Your kids are really going to have great memories.
My friend was just telling me a story about him with his family and their young 13-year-old daughter had to witness a homeless man defecating in the middle of the street.
An image that will surely be seared into her mind for the rest of her life.
But Democrats are so loving, you know?
They love you so much, they want you to defecate in the middle of the street.
They want you to shoot up fentanyl in front of the families.
They want you to, you know, have a mental illness, have a mental breakdown in front of, you know, children.
Because that's healthy and good.
It's good for them to see that.
And it serves your dignity.
You're dignified living in your own feces on the streets in squalor.
As opposed to being in an institution where you belong.
Anyway, that's what Democrats do.
We're coming back.
Stay tuned.

Most people don't even know that the courts have already ruled.
Once money is deposited into the bank, the bank owns the money, and the depositor is merely an unsecured creditor of the bank.
Which means if the bank goes under, you get paid last.
After the financial crisis, instead of breaking up too big to fail, the government and the Federal Reserve created Dodd-Frank and made too big to fail banks even bigger while putting your deposits more at risk.

When I was broken at the bottom, I found you're my healer and redeemer, Jesus.
That's who you are.
You brought me blessings out of a tragedy.
You turned my old song into a symphony.
And with your spirit living inside of me, I'm a new creation.
I'm a new creation.
Oh, oh, oh, oh.
Oh, oh, oh, oh.
But it rose until I stumbled and made my mistakes.
Then I could know in my soul how amazing was grace. - Hey!
Welcome back to Justice Forum Talk Radio.
It's our final segment.
We made it.
Boy, time flies when you're having fun, right?
I mean, that's one thing I know.
But we're going to wrap it up here.
And you know what we do.
At the end of every show, we do our God's Grace is Greater segment where we leave you guys with some hope and encouragement in the Scripture.
And this verse I picked out for today, I think, talks to the resolve we have to have as Christians dealing with a world that is full of evil, right, in a lot of ways.
But there's also good in the world.
So I never lose sight of that.
I try to look at both sides and understand that for what evil there is, there is also good.
And we have to be able to recognize both clearly.
And I think that's the discernment that we pray to God for every day.
At least I know I do.
I ask God to give me clarity of mind and discernment to understand the right and wrong things and know how to make those decisions.
Decisions that will help ultimately honor him above myself and my worldly desires, but serve his kingdom.
And so when I talk about these issues, particularly with what's happening in Denver and the sanctuary and all the homeless, I do have compassion.
Never forget that I come to this saying that there is a compassion we can show.
That goes beyond the compassion that we're told to show.
And this is really what the gospel comes down to.
But I found these words in Ephesians talking about the strength that we find in the Lord.
And this is Ephesians chapter 6, verse 10 through 13. It says, Finally, be strengthened by the Lord and by his vast strength.
Put on the full armor of God so that you can stand against the tactics of the devil.
For our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world powers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavens.
This is why you must take up the full armor of God, so that you may be able to resist in the evil day, and having prepared everything, to take your stand.
And I want you guys to take this as your message going into the week.
I want you to remember that the strength we find in the Lord will help us overcome this evil and trust in the discernment that the Lord gives us, right?
Trust that the decisions we make, if we put them to God first and allow Him to guide us, will be the right ones.
And give God all the glory and let Him strengthen you in this battle.
Because, mark my words, in the lives we lead, there are battles on a daily basis between the right and wrong things.
What's right and what's wrong.
So make sure you take these words as an encouragement to take with you today.
And I really just want that to be our mission focus for this week as we get ready to start the week and go forward with that in our mind.
If you haven't accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, I invite you now.
Open your heart, say a prayer, call upon His name, accept Him as your Lord and Savior, and watch Him intervene in your life in ways that you may not have thought were possible.
But that's it.
I want to leave it there and say thank you to everybody out there listening.
We'll be back tomorrow, God willing, same time, same place.
But until then, you guys know what it is.
I am your host, Craig James.
This has been Just Informed Talk Radio.
We'll see you on the next one.
But until then, Godspeed and God bless each and every one of you patriots.
