Last night, the big story, of course, being Donald Trump giving his address to the special session of Congress.
The special joint session of Congress, that is.
An amazing speech, I think.
I think he really did quite an impressive job.
I was very, you know...
Very impressed.
Very, very pleased.
But, you know, Democrats, just like we talked about in yesterday's show, they've completely lost the thread.
They don't understand what it looks like to the average person when they see this never-ending circus that just goes on and on and on.
You know, everything from the theatrics of the...
You know, color-coordinated uniforms they all wear to holding up auction signs with various, you know, slogans written on them to one member of the Democrat Party being ejected from the joint session entirely for trying to interrupt Trump's speech multiple times.
I mean, it just...
It's so over-the-top, it's so deranged, it's so disproportionate, that I know that the average American is completely turned off by seeing that kind of behavior.
Particularly when it comes to our government, but I'll tell you what, we're getting closer and closer to idiocracy.
I hate to say it, you know, that movie, it becomes more of a documentary every single day with the way people act in this society that we glorify all of these behaviors which are so beneath us.
And people always criticize Trump, say it's his fault, right?
You know, Trump says mean things, therefore...
These are the only behaviors that are, you know, reasonable in response.
But, I mean, obviously I have a political bias.
I'm sure most of you do as well, that you would say you most likely support the conservative viewpoint.
So, before I go any further, make that clarification, but still...
What are the things he's saying that are so bad?
I mean, he made a point during his speech last night, and I'll play highlights of it, and I'll give you the breakdown of what was said, everything else.
But he made a comment at one point last night that I thought summarized quite well what we're facing.
He essentially said something to the effect of, I could stand up here and say, There's nothing I could say that would get the opposition to cheer or approve or to cheer on our country, to put it that way.
And he's right.
And you know why?
It's because he's in, he's not in, I should say, the Uniparty.

Here, I want to play this.
Listen to this.
This is my fifth such speech to Congress.
And once again, I look at the Democrats in front of me, and I realize there is absolutely nothing I can say to make them happy or to make them stand or smile or applaud.
Nothing I can do.
I could find a cure to the most devastating disease, a disease that would wipe out entire nations.
Or announce the answers to the greatest economy in history or the stoppage of crime to the lowest levels ever recorded.
And these people sitting right here will not clap, will not stand, and certainly will not cheer for these astronomical achievements.
They won't do it, no matter what.
Five times I've been up here.
It's very sad, and it just shouldn't be this way.
Of course, what you're hearing there are the Republicans cheering, and the Democrats sitting quietly.
And, look, I mean, I guess they would cheer if he got up there and said, I resign, or I'm turning myself into authorities to be put in the D.C. gulag per Nancy Pelosi's orders.
I don't know.
I mean, I'm sure, or he could say, you know, I don't know, I was going to say something mean, but he could say a lot of things that they would probably cheer, but the point he's making is very true.
The things he's promoting should be obviously shared interests for either side of the aisle if you have the interest of America and its...
Betterment at heart, right?
But the way these people have envisioned America, the things that Trump says don't align with what their beliefs are.
For instance, just looking at, you know, crime.
They don't, you know, they believe in this defund the police and the only crimes that should be prosecuted are, you know, when their overreach.
And abuse and corruption causes backlash for political purposes, and then they can jail all of their political opposition.
Right?
And this goes on and on and on throughout the night.
There's all kinds of stunts, and one thing that Democrats think they're good at, although I don't think they're really that good at it, are these photo ops and political stunts.
In a sort of crescendo, if you will, it will build up to, I don't know if I used that right, I'm not a music guy, but it will lead up to and build up to the fomenting of anger that will be unleashed upon the average citizen as we get closer to the midterm elections.
I mean, just mark my words.
You could take it to the bank.
It's as predictable as the sun coming up tomorrow, right?
Like, there's a 99% chance that'll happen.
Now there's a 1% chance that the sun doesn't come up for whatever reason.
The Earth gets blowed up in a meteor shower or something.
I don't know.
But there's a very high probability that...
That will happen, and this is what it is.
This is how they build up.
I mean, the protests are very small, and, you know, again, the vocal minority not getting a whole lot of coverage or attention, but what will happen is, as we get closer to the midterm election, the protests will become larger and larger because the politicians will rile up their base, and then you have the sort of...
Not as many NGOs, I guess, now that Trump's cut the funding, but you'll have other It's just how
it happens.

We're recapping last night's speech from President Trump.
And, you know, to be quite honest, it was sort of very much along the lines of what I predicted yesterday.
You know, he touted the powerful cut in spending that's coming from the Department of Government Efficiency, a.k.a.
DOGE. He talked about his action with his over 100 executive orders that have been implemented since he took office about a month ago.
He talked about border security and what he's done to sort of start the process of mass deportations.
He talked about the economic boom, what they're doing with opening up drilling for oil.
He talked about how tariffs are going to play a huge part, talking specifically about Mexico, China, Canada, etc., and what tariffs are going to mean for the American people.
He talked about getting rid of the bureaucracy, right?
The unelected bureaucracy running our government, that is.
And, you know, that's definitely...
A powerful topic.
He talked about getting rid of DEI, diversity, equity, and inclusion programs in the federal government.
The Green New Deal scams.
He talked about the Paris Climate Accord.
He talked about what DOGE is actually doing.
He went on to identify all of the money that was being spent on these ridiculous programs that DOGE has identified and that they are cutting.
One also amazing point was where he listed off the ages of people receiving Social Security benefits.
People listed between 110 and 140 who are still receiving Social Security benefits.
That's interesting.
Restoring law and order, getting rid of critical race theory in schools.
Getting rid of transgender ideology in the federal government.
Getting back to biological reality in women's sports.
Talked about foreign policy.
Talked about what's happened in Afghanistan.
He also said that Russia had signaled a willingness to negotiate in regard to the Ukrainian conflict.
He talked about overhauling the justice system and getting rid of the weaponization of government.
Talked about unyielding tribute.
He gave an unyielding tribute, I should say, to American heroes.
And Corey Comparatore, the man who lost his life at the Butler, Pennsylvania rally where they tried to assassinate Trump, he was honored.
And, of course, Democrats couldn't stand and honor him.
Because they're very sick people, you know?
I mean, I'll pause there and talk about it because that is speaking more directly to what I was referencing earlier in the show, which is that the average person, you know, I'm sure most of us know somebody who's liberal in nature, right?
Whether it's a friend, co-worker, schoolmate, family member even.
And I know on a personal level, even with those people who I disagree with, right, politically, if I were to, say, talk to them, for instance, I have a family member who, you know, we don't agree politically, but we still love each other and we're very nice to one another because we care about one another and it's not a bad thing.
You know, I tell them they're wrong.
They say they think they're right and, you know, it is what it is, right?
But if we were to say, talk about somebody being murdered in cold blood, needlessly, whoever that person was, an innocent person, we would both say, that's horrific, that's tragic, that's something that neither of us want to see.
We pray for the family.
We would agree on those things, at minimum.
But the fact that...
An entire room of Democrats are so deranged and twisted by Trump that they can't bring themselves to stand up and acknowledge the fact that a life was lost needlessly and to even go as far as to,
in their mind, probably justify it by blaming Trump for somebody wanting to kill him and accidentally killing an innocent bystander It's just out of touch with reality.
And I think I know what it is.
These people are conformists.
It's an oddity in our society, right, when you look at Congress.
Because the people who, particularly in the Democrat Party, but also in the Republican Party, there's a threat of this as well.
These people who present themselves as, you know, individual, free-thinking, you know, liberty-minded individuals, they themselves are the most conformist of all.
They will conform to the party no matter what.
It was like I talked about yesterday where They hold all of these competing ideologies and belief systems simultaneously with the end effect being, you know, the creation of this coalition, the rainbow coalition, that they want nothing more than to have become a reality, when in reality...
Those conflicts are never resolved properly and to anyone's satisfaction, so it causes more division and strife, which is why they seem to be falling apart and have no direction, no leadership, all they have are threats of violence and threats of anger and disillusionment.
That's what the Democrat Party offers people at this point.
Now, at some point, I hate to say it, the shoe will go on the other foot again, I mean, unless our system radically changes sometime over the next four years, which maybe it will, but they'll find a way to, you know, create a coalition and they'll find some sort of charismatic leader who will speak to them all simultaneously and appeal to them in sort of the same way Obama did or whatever.
But, until then, you're just going to watch these people continue to flounder and do heinous, disgusting things.
The stunts in Congress were nothing compared to the people that were, the way that their reaction was to people Trump was honoring.
As I said, Corey Comparatore, one of those people, another person, a young man, a 13-year-old boy, who's battling brain cancer, Who wanted to be a police officer,
so they made him an honorary Secret Service agent for the evening, who attended this speech as Trump's honored guest, a young man by the name of DJ Daniel, who,
when Trump brought up his name and told his story to the world, the Democrats, of course, Well, let's just say they found a way to really degrade themselves even further.
I have to play this.
It is probably one of the sickest things I've ever heard.
This is the reaction of the MSNBC host, Nicole Wallace, to Trump.
Referencing this young man and his fight against brain cancer.
Listen to this.
I think this was a lesson in finding one thing that you let yourself feel.
And I let myself feel joy about DJ. And I hope he's alive for another, you know, 95 years.
And I hope he lives.
And the life he wants to live.
He wants to be a cop.
He knows what he wants to do.
And maybe when you have childhood cancer, that crystallizes for you.
And I hope he has a long life as a law enforcement officer.
But I hope he never has to defend the United States Capitol against Donald Trump's supporters.
And if he does, I hope he isn't one of the six who loses his life to suicide.
And I hope he isn't one who has to testify against the people who carried out acts of seditious conspiracy and then lived to see Donald Trump pardon those people.
Okay, well, he's 13 years old, so that would be a feat.
But...
What did she just say?
Like, this is Democrats in 2025. Oh, I think that that young 13-year-old boy fighting brain cancer is really brave.
I hope he doesn't commit suicide.
What?
What the hell is wrong with Nicole Wallace?
What the hell is wrong with these people?
And mind you, there's a panel of people, Jen Sakai and Rachel Maddow and all the other folks, sitting around a table, nodding in agreement to this statement.
How sick are these people?
Look, I don't know what it is, honestly, at this point.
Because...
At first I thought to myself, you know, these people, it must be something to do with the fact that, you know, they're complicit maybe, or maybe they're guilty of something.
Maybe they've done something, right?
But Nicole Wallace, I don't know.
I mean, what could she have done besides lie to the American people for the last, you know, decade or so?
So I'm not sure that that's the motivation behind it.
Maybe they're ideologically driven.
But Nicole Wallace, again, she doesn't seem smart enough to be ideologically driven.
She doesn't really probably have an ideology.
She just reads a teleprompter.
And then when she speaks extemporaneously, she says the most retarded things ever uttered by any human on this planet, up to and including...
Saying that she hopes a 13-year-old with terminal brain cancer doesn't commit suicide on national television.
For what reason other than to score political brownie points with her cult followers?
Look, I don't know about you, but I see the average American listening to that and saying, What the hell's wrong with this lady?
And so this is what we get, right, from the news.
Especially, I mean, you know there's a producer somewhere back there.
There had to have been.
Who like, you know, it's like the control room and he's got a cup of coffee and he's like sipping it and she's like, and I hope he doesn't.
Commit suicide.
And he's like, you know, does a spit take, spits his coffee out.
What the hell did Nicole just say?
Did she just say she just wanted a 13-year-old cancer patient not to commit suicide?
What the hell is wrong with her?
Rachel!
Rachel!
On the headset or on the earpiece, shut her up!
Shut her up!
I mean...
It's insane!
So, I listen to these people, and I've got to be honest.
Like I said, the shoe will be on the other foot, they'll find a charismatic leader, there'll be some resurgence of leftist ideology under probably a rebrand where it's going to be moderately less radical.
But equally evil.
And they will find a way.
And I don't want that to be the case, but it's just, historically, it's what most likely will happen.
But I mean, I don't know.
They're going to have a tough time with people like Nicole Wallace in their camp.
I mean...
And I don't know who they speak to.
That's where I get lost.
It's like, who are these people speaking to?
Like, normal people don't think that way.
A normal person doesn't see a 13-year-old cancer patient and automatically think, Man, I hope that kid doesn't commit suicide like the cops from January 6th after Trump, which I guess this is a step in the right direction because at least she's admitting that those cops killed themselves as opposed to reporting it as they had been reporting it for the last six years or so or five years or whatever it's been,
telling us endlessly that there were cops who were murdered on January 6th.
No, there were cops who were quote-unquote suicided.
Anyway.

I'm not laughing at this because it's sick, but it is so absurd it is laughable.

And you know, it's funny because the Democrats obviously are speaking to an audience that I'm not sure even exists, really.
I mean, I know there are deranged people, but I'm just trying to understand, is MSNBC, like, mandatory?
You know how, like, CNN has a contract with all the airports where it's like they play CNN in all the airports all the time?
I wonder if, like, CNN... Has that same contract with all of the mental institutions across the nation, right?
Like, I got a deal for you.
Alright, you got to put Rachel Maddow on 24-7 in every mental asylum.
And that way, you know, that would make sense.
But other than that, none of this really makes sense, to be quite honest.
Even Rachel Maddow said this about...
The young 13-year-old cancer survivor or cancer patient who was brought in as Trump's special guest, this is what she said about it.
Listen to this after the speech.
For the record, and this is disgusting, the president made a spectacle.
Out of praising a young man who thus far survived pediatric cancer, as if the president had something to do with that.
This was in the midst of him praising Doge.
The Doge cuts, among other things, have cut off funding for ongoing research into pediatric cancer.
Okay, so wait, huh?
Wait.
You think that the funding for researching into pediatric cancer was cut?
And see, this is where they lie, okay?
Because, you know, you know that there is some reference to some menial, trivial, you know, third-rate DEI institution.
The DEI hire got canned, and one of their projects from 10 years ago was studying pediatric cancer.
So, ipso facto, Trump has slashed funding for pediatric cancer research, and that's a sick example of his, you know, hatred for children and then exploitation of them.
But again, if this is what you're telling people, With a straight face, as if it's true, well, I mean, then, you know, you understand why people become radically driven and charged to go out there and, you know, get in people's faces, like Maxie Waters says, and not leave them alone.
So, I don't know.
I mean, I think Trump did a good job last night.
Let's put it that way.
But I also think that the people representing our government are pretty much detestable.
At least on the Democrat side mostly, and some on the Republican side as well.
They couldn't do much last night as far as everything is concerned.
Scott Jennings over at CNN, I don't know what this guy's deal is.
Maybe he's a masochist and he just loves pain and torture.
But him working for CNN as the token conservative, I mean, and Scott Jennings, to be honest with you, I think he's like a moderate conservative at best.
But in comparison, when he sits on these CNN panels defending his position, I mean, my gosh, the guy sounds like Rush Limbaugh compared to the people sitting around him.
Here he is, having to essentially highlight all of the problems with Democrats' response to Trump's speech last night on CNN. Yeah, I mean, look, I'm sure she's a very nice person.
None of this will be remembered because this was a horrific night for the opposition party, regardless of how well she just spoke.
It started out with Al Green getting thrown off the House floor because he couldn't keep his emotions under control.
Then they had the ridiculous paddles, which now social media is roasting.
You said false on one side.
Ridiculous.
And then finally, and maybe most terribly, the Democrats, who couldn't find it in their heart to stand for objectively good things, including...
The 95-year-old mother of Mark Fogle, who got rescued from a Russian prison, and they couldn't even stand up for that.
I thought Democrats came into this speech lost and defeated by Donald Trump, and today it looks to me like they're even more lost and even more defeated than when this speech started.
Yeah, I mean...
I mean, and that's the funny thing, is that he's like a moderate, middle, middle, middle-of-the-road conservative, if that.
Maybe a moderate Democrat from 10 or 15 years ago, if you know what I mean.
Right?
But he's sitting there, and when he speaks, the exchanges he has on CNN are just unimaginable.
People are just...
The things he has to defend and to rebuke are absolutely insane.
But I guess that's...
All by design.
Even CNN had to admit that almost 70% of viewers thought or had a positive reaction to Trump's speech, which again, re-solidifies the idea of this mandate.
And the fact that I don't know what the Democrat Party is going to do.
Will it, you know, die and go away or will it continue to...
You know, grow and metastasize like a cancer?
I don't know.
But I can say this, that the American people have outright rejected in the majority what the Democrat Party represents and stands for.
Mostly because the things that they stand for and represent are reprehensible and diluted.
But I think also partially because I don't even know if Democrats understand and fully know or are aware of what they believe and represent.
If that makes sense.
So I'm watching, you know, this speech, but I'm also watching the reaction to the speech even more so.
Because I know what Trump's doing and I had a good idea of what he was going to say because I've been watching and we've all been paying attention to his actions.
But...
To see the response is to understand the opposition and their thinking and how it's evolving.
And again, my concern is not for today.
It's for a year and some change from now when we get to those midterm elections.
That will be when we see it pop off again.
And they're setting the stage.
They're doing it exactly the same way they did in the first Trump presidency.
And, you know, it's funny because some Democrats are trying to use the same talking points that got Trump elected against him, right?
For instance, Eric Swalwell was just caught on camera, you know, commenting on Trump's speech and his actions.
But one thing he said was interesting.
He said, you know, He said, Trump's gone to the Indianapolis 500, the Super Bowl, UFC fight.
He literally, and then Swalwell goes, he should try going to the effing grocery store and looking at what people are paying for groceries.
And I thought, wow, that's interesting.
He's literally using a Republican talking point as an attack on Trump.
The implication being, of course, that Trump's not doing anything to fix the problem with pricing and inflation.
Now, of course, we all understand that he's been in office for a month.
So not much is to be expected in that short of a time period.
It may be the shift in strategy we see coming from Democrats.
I think Swalwell has got some inside info on where they're headed.

And, you know, look, we're talking about Trump's speech, which we'll give you some of the highlights here later in the show.
I'll save those for more in the second hour.
But we're sort of talking more about the response now because I think it's very interesting and telling directionally to understand where the opposition is heading, right?
Right now they're in the tantrum mode and they're pouting and wanting.
If you've ever had a toddler, you would understand what these reactions are and how they manifest.
But, interestingly, I alluded to the fact that Swalwell is Eric Swalwell, the guy who had relations with a Chinese spy and then got kicked off the House Intelligence Committee, and then, you know, now he's...
Drinking excessively with lobbyists at D.C. restaurants, bragging about his proclivity toward fornicating with quote-unquote hot chicks.
But this is something he may have a thread on, which is where the shift in Democrat messaging is going.
I guess it's better than certain alternatives, but they're going to use Republican messaging against Trump, where they're going to say Trump's not fixed these problems in whatever amount of time.
But again, these problems were made over a long period of time, and there is no solution that is painless, if that makes sense.
I really do get frustrated when I see people posting or speaking about how, you know, they want the economy to be fixed without any pain, right?
It's like saying, I want to be as ripped as Arnold Schwarzenegger or, you know, Hulk Hogan or whoever without going to the gym every day.
I just want to wake up and have the muscles.
Right?
It's like, well, do you understand how you get muscles?
They don't just grow by themselves overnight.
It takes pain and hard work and repetition and dedication.
It doesn't, it's like, this is part of the problem with our instant gratification society mindset that we have, where, you know, we get, I don't, I've never used Uber Eats, but I guess DoorDash or Uber Eats.
You get these Uber Eats and DoorDash.
The food's taken to you.
You know, Instacart.
They'll bring your groceries to your front door.
I don't want to go to the grocery store.
You know?
Amazon.
I can get anything in the world delivered to my front door.
I never have to leave my house.
I can just sit here and do nothing all day.
But the truth is that When your country gets taken by a banking cartel and exploited for the last, I don't know, 80 or so years plus, it perhaps is going to take more than a month to fix all of it.
And it may take, you know, and hold your breath because I know a lot of people are going, it may take more than four years even.
If you can imagine.
I know, that sounds crazy.
Could you imagine it takes more than four years to fix the problem that we're in?
What will we do?
We won't have Trump!
But remember, that's the design.
So you fix things incrementally.
You fix things one step at a time.
You put one foot in front of the other until you get to the point where you need to be to fix the problem.
And I just get frustrated when I hear people go, oh, well, I don't want my stock portfolio to go down.
The market's not recovering as I want it to.
My 401k, oh.
Like, yeah, I feel bad for you and your 401k.
I really do.
I feel bad for my 401k, to be quite honest.
I understand retirement, savings, etc.
But...
You can't have your cake and eat it, too.
Either want the problem to be fixed, which is going to take pain and suffering and hard work and dedication and long-term commitment, or you want instant gratification, which will mean status quo, which will mean the system keeps going, the beast grows, and you get your 401k and your pension, and nothing happens to your life.
But you just can't have it both ways.
You can't speak out of both sides of your mouth.
Somebody texted in from the 970 saying, when a nation forgets God, he turns them over to a reprobate mind.
Being Christian, we have to put up with those who God has turned over.
And we as a nation will incur the resurgence of the anti-American Democrats if we as a nation don't repent and live righteously.
Amen.
Amen.
That's a part of what the hard work is about.
You know, people are sold, especially in some of these, you know, mega churches, these prosperity preachers, you know, it's all sunshine and roses being a Christian.
And there is truth in the idea that peace, the solace and peace you get with a relationship with Christ is sunshine and rainbows, as it colloquially is said.
But it's also pain, it's also suffering.
It's also everything that comes with life, and then some.
Paul writes about it in great detail, as a matter of fact.
Some of his greatest ministry work was suffering in a prison cell, chained to a Roman guard.
So, I just think that...
We're going to have to figure that out first before we figure anything else out.
And look, you know what that's going to mean?
That means we're going to have to become more self-sufficient, more resilient, except Romans 5, where it says that the affliction we face...
Will produce endurance within us that will lead us to having a proven character.
And once we have that proven character, then we can see and find the hope that exists.

First off, in our final scene before the break in the top of the hour, where we come back in the second hour, I want to talk about the Democrat response last night briefly.
So the Democrat response was with Senator Alyssa Slotkin.
Where she said that Trump stole peace through strength from Reagan, says Reagan's rolling over in his grave right now over the way that Trump treated President Vladimir Zelensky, the president of Ukraine, in the Oval Office during their dispute in her rebuttal to Trump's speech.
Okay, let's listen to some of it.
President Trump loves to say peace through strength.
That's actually a line he stole from Ronald Reagan.
But let me tell you, after the spectacle that just took place in the Oval Office last week, Reagan must be rolling in his grave.
We all want an end to the war in Ukraine.
But Reagan understood that true strength required America to combine our military and economic might with moral clarity.
And that scene in the Oval Office wasn't just a bad episode of reality TV. It summed up Trump's whole approach to the world.
He believes in cozying up to dictators like Vladimir Putin and kicking our friends like the Canadians in the teeth.
He sees American leadership as merely a series of real estate transactions.
Oh, okay.
Hmm, interesting.
So, riddle me this, former CIA agent, now sitting Senator Elizabeth Slotkin.
Please, explain to me and the audience watching why you feel so strongly about supporting this war in Ukraine.
And please, speak slowly so that we can follow you.
It's absolutely hilarious that they would march out, and this was heavily focus-grouped, by the way, I would imagine.
They march out a former CIA officer turned senator to rebuke Trump's speech by claiming that his position on foreign diplomacy is an affront to Reaganism.
I mean, you can't make this stuff up.
You know, it just, it writes itself sometimes.
And I gotta be honest, Slotkin's another Looney Tune basket case.
She's, you know, reading transgender books to kids at story times.
I mean, she's really sort of deranged.
But what else would you expect from The Farm?

Sleeper cells to infiltrate our Congress.
I mean, you know, candidates for congressional office, right?
I mean, there should probably be a restriction on that.
Training CIA officers who then become sitting elected officials in government seems to me a bit, I don't know, dodgy at best.

I'm just a non-CIA agent radio guy, so take it with a grain of salt.

Maybe there are mansions in heaven, right?
But I don't think houses on Earth are mentioned really too explicitly, but maybe somebody can point out where I'm wrong.

You know what?
I'm doing great, and I'm glad you're here because we always enjoy having you on.
And it's always like serendipitous because something will happen right before you come on with us that I would love to get your opinion on.
And just on Trump's speech in general is perfect for us to discuss.
We both watched it.
We're going to go over some of the highlights.
That way even we'll give some opinions, but we'll also give some highlights from what happened last night.
Trump, are you ready to just get into it, J.D.? Let's get into it.
Let's do it.
Alright, so last night Trump opened his remarks in his speech by discussing his landside victory, saying, quote, We won all seven swing states, giving us an electoral college victory of 312 votes.
We won the popular vote by big numbers and won countries across our country.
2,700 to 525, or counties, excuse me, on a map that reads almost completely red for Republicans.
Now, for the first time in modern history, more Americans believe that our country is headed in the right direction than the wrong direction.
In fact, it's an astonishing record 27-point swing, the most ever, Trump said, where he prompted a response of chants of USA, USA from the crowd, where shortly thereafter, Representative Al Green,
the Democrat from Texas, began to have an outburst screaming at Trump, and his refusal to stop screaming led to his removal from the chamber by the sergeant-at-arms.
What did you make of that little outburst there?
Well, I mean, it was worth the price of the ticket, for sure.
Yeah, you know, Al Green, he's a kooky guy.
I don't know what his problem is.
I don't know if it's all an actor or if he's really...
Mental, I'm not sure.
I've been trying to figure that out for many, many years, but I love the speech.
And you know, it's funny how the Democrats last night, they were holding up all their little index cards saying that that was a lie when Trump said that he won the popular vote.
So now they're even denying that he won the popular vote.
Yeah.
No, it sounds like an insurrection to me if I've ever heard one.
Oh, yeah.
But, no, it is interesting.
I heard, I listened to a brief part of his interview post when he was outside of the chamber.
The media interviewed him, and he basically said something like, you know, Trump's cutting Medicare for elderly citizens and my constituents, and I was fighting for them.
Right.
And every time I hear these people talk, They don't know what they're talking about.
They just repeat whatever comes to mind out of their five or six...
Their list of five or six talking points, which is what they're told to talk about.
And they've been saying the same things for years, and when they confront somebody like this Al Green, he just goes to whatever's next in rotation, man, and that's what it was last night.
I agree.
I agree.
And I also think part of me thinks that, you know, All of these congressmen and women who have these problems, it really goes back to doge-cutting the kickback machine that gets these congressmen and women favors, political favors, monetary favors.
It's how they become wealthy while in office.
Trump's going after that.
So, like you said, they have their script that they follow religiously because they are, you know, members of the cult, as it were.
And they don't have an ability to think outside of it, so they have to regurgitate that.
But it's really like a code for Trump's going after the money that is allocated through pork barrel budget items, which then comes back to me in the form of campaign contributions.
So I don't like Trump.
Is that like a fair way of putting it?
Yeah.
And I look at it like this.
Anytime Mad Maxine Waters isn't happy, then you know we're doing something good.
Oh yeah, I know.
Driving down the interstate, looking at the price of gas on the different signs, you can really get a good idea of what's going on.
It's such a basic indicator, but you can really get a good idea of what's going on with the economy, you know.
And same thing with Mad Maxine.
Her and AOC, you know, AOC, I think she was a no-show, right?
I don't remember.
I didn't see that.
If she didn't show up, that would make sense.
That's another political stunt.
You know, that's all they have right now is these stunts and these dramatic flair.
I feel like it's all so tiresome and played and repeated.
It's played out.
Somebody texted in something funny, though, J.D. Somebody from the 720 said...
Isn't Al Green the guy that thought an island would capsize with too much weight?
That's him.
No.
No, that was another guy, actually.
It was?
Yeah.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
And this Al Green guy has said it, too, though.
I've seen him.
He's probably said something like that, I'm sure, because these people aren't.
We're not dealing with the brightest apples in the bunch.
Oh, is that the Falklands or something?
I don't know.

JD. JD is here on the day after this big speech to the joint session of Congress last night.
Trump, for anybody who's just joining us, gave this incredible speech, really powerful.
A lot of stuff that I sort of predicted would be said yesterday.
But, still, he said it with his Trump twist and flair and gave us some details and specifics that I think are interesting and relevant and worth reporting.
So, we're going over some of the highlights.
Now, we just talked about his opening remarks and the interruption by Al Green.
He got booted from the chamber, which, you know, it's always a good day when that happens.
Well, is it a day that ends with a Y when a Democrat does something stupid, right?
We're going to go through each part of his speech piece by piece.
One part he talked about was border security.
He talked about ending the Biden era crisis.
I want to read a quick quote from his speech.
Get JD's response and talk about what it means.
He said, quote, And what a job they've done, Trump said.
And he went on to talk about historic lows in illegal border crossings.
He also talked about the mass deportation of illegal immigrants.
He talked about how he's implemented that, the designation of the Mexican drug cartels and MS-13 as foreign terror organizations.
And he went on to mention a few other improvements to border security that go along with that.
I thought...
Everything he laid out there, how can the Democrats not support this?
I know the reason, but it's like, to an average person, how do you not support that?
How do you sit on your hands when they're honoring that boy who beat brain cancer and was welcomed into the U.S. Secret Service?
How do they sit on their hands for anything?
I mean, and not only that, but the look on their faces is like they just inhaled fumes from an open pickle jar or something.
I mean, I understand, of course, it's the political game.
They cannot pretend.
Or act like they're happy at all the incredible accomplishments thus far within six or seven weeks.
They can't do that politically, but they don't have to sit on their hands when it's something like what they did for that little boy and a whole lot of other things last night that they should have clapped for and didn't.
And that's what really stood out to me.
I agree.
I agree.
Honestly, I talked about it a little bit earlier in the show, but you bring it up again, and it's true.
It was not just the fact that they didn't really cheer for the people who should have had...
The cheers.
The parents, I think, of Lake and Riley were there.
That got nothing.
The grandparent of Mark Fogle was there.
That got nothing.
The family of the guy in Butler, Pennsylvania that lost his life?
Yeah, I was going to say the family of Corey Comparatore.
That got nothing.
The DJ, I think his name was TJ or DJ Daniel.
He got nothing, the cancer patient, child.
DJ, yeah, DJ. He got basically nothing.
And then I even talked about it earlier.
It went so far as to have Nicole Wallace on MSNBC after the fact literally say that she hopes that the 13-year-old cancer patient doesn't commit suicide because of Trump on national television.
It's just like, what is wrong with these people, man?
Well, it's why nobody watches MSDNC, literally.
And it's why their parent companies are frantically trying to sell that network.
I said earlier in the show that...
I think in the same way that, you know, CNN has those contracts with the airports where they played at every airport.
I said I think MSNBC has like a contract with all the mental asylums across the country where it's like it forced them to watch that 24-7 as a form of punishment.
Anyway, we had somebody text in again and say, it's amazing these disgusting crooks can tell the people Trump is going to take away their crumbs, Medicaid, when really the Democrat Thanksgiving feast of theft is being taken off their table.
Yeah, good point.
Great, great text.
It's true.
And no matter how many times he comes right out and looks at the cameras and says, I am not.
Going to cut Social Security, okay?
That's not what we're doing.
We are finding waste and fraud, and we are eliminating that, therefore making the funds healthier.
We're not cutting anything, but they keep repeating the same lie over and over and over.
You bring up a good point.
Trump did point out some very incredible statistics and numbers last night when he was going over a lot of the things that were talked about in the doge.
I want to play a clip that I have here where Trump basically outlines the craziness behind the numbers here when you look at what these people are funding.
And I think I can find it here.
The numbers are absolutely insane of the ages of people receiving Social Security benefits that they're being, you know, these people are threatened losing their Social Security.
Listen, I think this is it.
I think this is it.
Listen to this.
We're going to.
We're also identifying shocking levels of incompetence and probable fraud in the Social Security program for our seniors, and that our seniors and people that we love rely on.
Believe it or not, government databases list 4.7 million Social Security members from people aged 100 to 109 years old.
It lists 3.6 million people from ages 110 to 119.
I don't know any of them.
I know some people that are rather elderly, but not quite that elderly.
3.47 million people from ages 120 to 129. 3.9 million people from ages 130 to 139. 3.5 million people from ages 140 to 149. And money is being paid to many of them.
And we're searching right now.
In fact, Pam, good luck.
Good luck.
You're going to find it.
But a lot of money is paid out to people because it just keeps getting paid and paid and nobody does.
And it really hurts.
Social Security, it hurts our country.
1.3 million people from ages 150 to 159 and over 130,000 people, according to the Social Security databases, are age over 160 years old.
We have a healthier country than I thought, Bobby.
All right, well, that was funny, that little line speech.
It's crazy.
You hear these Democrats in the background, Craig, and it's like, it reminds me of a scene of, like, people in hell gnashing their teeth over something great God did, and they're just like, ah!
Oh, I know.
I know, and the visual on that's even worse, J.D., because they are, um, I mean, not...

Yeah, my buddy Rick from Iowa, who's a frequent guest, On Swamp Fight, he texted me last night right before the speech, and he said, man, I hope he says something about how he's reduced illegal crossings by 96 to 98 percent without Congress.
I hope he mentions something about that.
And when he did, that was a big, big, that was a big point, and that one hurt the Democrats.
Really bad.

I 100% agree.
As a matter of fact, watching it all unfold, it was good that he made mention of such things, and I think we need more of it.
We need to really tell these people what the problem is and address it directly.

I mean, because it spoke toward what...
The mandate really was for Trump in a lot of ways, part of it at least, was based on the fact that he promised to go in and get rid of the bureaucracy, the never-ending, corrupt, unelected bureaucracy running our government.
And the only way to do that is, I'm understanding now, with the actions he's taken through Doge.
That has been Trump's primary weapon.
He understands now, I think, as a seasoned politician, More than he did when he was first in office.
Oh, yeah.
That it's the money.
It's the money.
It's the money.
It's the government funding.
Yeah.
That's what keeps the bureaucracy going.
That's what keeps it alive.
That's what keeps it untouchable.
So he's attacked it in a way that most people wanted him to do.
And the Dems are just mad that they didn't think of it.
Yeah, yeah.
But, I mean, yeah, you're probably right.
I guess that's a good point, too.
But I will play this clip because he goes through line item, like line by line, the programs that were cut and the amount of funding that was going toward them.
And you have to remember, these aren't just wasteful programs, right?
This is corruption.
This is fraud.
This is the kickback system.
The money that goes to these programs inevitably finds its way back into the coffers of the Democrats.
That's exactly right.
So let's listen to Trump line by line go through each one of these expenditures.
Listen to this.
Just listen to some of the appalling waste we have already identified.
$22 billion from HHS to provide free housing and cars for illegal aliens.
$45 million for diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Scholarships in Burma.
$40 million to improve the social and economic inclusion of sedentary migrants.
Nobody knows what that is.
$8 million to promote LGBTQI plus in the African nation of Lesotho, which nobody has ever heard of.
$60 million for indigenous peoples.
And Afro-Colombian empowerment in Central America.
$60 million.
$8 million for making mice transgender.
This is real.
$32 million for a left-wing propaganda operation in Moldova.
$10 million for male circumcision in Mozambique.
The Arab Sesame Street in the Middle East.
It's a program.
$20 million for a program.
$1.9 billion to recently created decarbonization of Homes Committee.
Head it up.
And we know she's involved.
Just at the last moment, the money was passed over by a woman named Stacey Abrams.
Have you ever heard of her?
A $3.5 million consulting contract for lavish fish monitoring.
$1.5 million for voter confidence in Liberia.
$14 million for social cohesion in Mali.
$59 million for illegal alien hotel rooms in New York City.
He's a real estate developer.
He's done very well.
$250,000 to increase vegan local climate action innovation in Zambia.
$42 million for social and behavior change in Uganda.
$14 million for improving public procurement in Serbia.
$47 million for improving learning outcomes in Asia.
Asia's doing very well with learning.
You know what we're doing.
We should use it ourselves.
$101 million for DEI contracts at the Department of Education.
The most ever paid.
Nothing even like it.
Under the Trump administration, all of these scams.
And they're far worse, but I didn't think it was appropriate to talk about them.

Trump just, in his speech from last night, went over a list of these.
Programs that our government's funding, just a handful of them that are absolutely insane, including, as we pointed out, the famous country of Lesotho in Africa receiving $8 million for LGBTQI initiatives, which, okay.
But it's funny because it kind of reminds me of that movie, you ever seen Wag the Dog?
I don't, it's not...
Familiar.
So it's a movie from the, I think it's like the 90s.
And it's, I think Dustin Hoffman's in it and a few other famous guys.
And the premise is essentially that they, it's set where the government creates a fake war in a made-up country and broadcasts it on national television to, I forget what the purpose of it was, it was like to...
To get support for some cause they were trying to do and steal money, I guess, basically at the end of the day.
So the government hires this Hollywood producer to come in and basically stage this whole war for television in a made-up country that doesn't even exist.
And it's sort of funny.
It's a comedy movie.
Sort of a dark comedy, actually.
But this kind of reminds me of that.
Lesotho might not be an actual country.
They may have just made that up.
I'm actually almost certain that this is a wag the dog scenario where it may even be on a map, but it might not actually exist in real life.
And let me guess, America in the movie ends up sending them money.
For the cost.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah, money and, yeah.
Yeah, I forget the plot of that movie, to be honest.
Probably the weapons and everything.
Yeah, I forget the plot of the movie in detail.
I just remember that the central plot was that they made up a war and then filmed it and put it on television and people believed it and then supported this war that was, like, completely fictional.
It's an absolutely funny movie.
Could happen.

No, I'm laughing at both what you said and then the text that just came in.

Somebody from the 720 just texted in, obviously referring to the Sesame Street in Arabic countries getting $20 million, saying, Baghdad Big Bird is essential for national security.
I don't know why that made me laugh.

Yeah, Baghdad Big Bird.

That actually made me laugh.

Some other highlights from the speech of Trump last night that I thought were interesting.
He talked about restoring law and order.
He said, quote, I have already signed an executive order requiring a mandatory death penalty for anyone who murders a police officer.
That was one of his things.
Love it.
Yeah, I mean, I think, in a sense, we have to make crime unappealing.
Yeah.
And it's a deterrent.
That's a good word for it.
It's not really about...
A lot of people say it's all inhumane and everything, but...
This is an ultimate deterrent, and as a person who's a Christian, people say, oh, how are you a Christian and believe in that?
Well, because it's literally, it says in the Bible clearly in Romans 13, the government, you know, the authority doesn't wield a sword for no reason.
And they have the power to establish law and order through the means that are necessary to keep it, and I think that's...
It's inhumane.
It's also inhumane.
To be raped or crippled for the rest of your life, if you live.
Yeah, yeah, it's absolutely horrific what people have to go through, and that's why we have police.
And when police officers are slain, you know, especially when it's unjustified, I could understand.
Corrupt cop does bad thing, you know, suffers bad consequence.
Nobody's feeling sorry for that guy.
That's a one in a million, you know, scenario.
It doesn't, that's not the everyday.
Usually 100, you know, 99% of the time it's a cop who's doing the right thing, who ends up being punished by somebody who's doing the wrong thing.
So criminals aren't afraid of, you know, Committing crimes.
They're not afraid of it.
It's much like all the illegals coming across, you know.
When there's a new sheriff in town, not only are they no longer coming, but they are actually self-deporting.
Yeah, it makes a big difference.
Yeah, it's what happens when you actually have laws that are applied equally across the board and not selectively and enforced to help one side and hurt the other.
The two-tier justice system, which he also talked about last night, where he talked about the weaponization of government.
He said he's going to dismantle political targeting by federal agencies.
He's going to fight for fair, equal, and impartial justice.
And who better to do it than Trump, given what he's been through?
He said, quote, "We ended weaponized government where a sitting president is allowed to viciously prosecute his political opponent like me.
How did that work out?
Not too good.
Not too good." So, you know, he points it out.
And I think we all we all observe the same thing.
Right, J.D.?
Yeah.
That.
Everything they did ended up backfiring on them.
And it reminds me, you know, speaking of scripture, it reminds me where, you know, you read in Psalms where it talks about the traps my enemy sets before me, they themselves may they fall into or will they fall into.
And that's what these Democrats keep doing.
And again, definition of insanity, doing the same thing, expecting a different result.
They don't get it.
They don't get it that when you do bad things and you act in an evil way, even if you get away with it for a short period of time, eventually you yourself are going to fall into that net.
You're going to walk into the snare.
You're going to fall into the pit.
They do things that they want to happen.
It's like, I want it to be this way, but it...
It can never be this way, that way.
It will not work.
The people are not going to like it or accept it, no matter how bad you wish it was that way.
And that's the Democrats.
They have no common sense.
I say that all the time.
Well, one of my favorite lines for Trump we'll leave you guys with is his beginning of his closing remarks where he said, I believe that my life was saved that day in Butler for a good very reason.
I was saved by God to make America great again.
I believe that.
Amen.
And I think that's what we should remember, if not anything else from that speech.
