hope you guys are again having a wonderful day we have a lot of news to cover we're going to get through some of the big stories of the day so far uh some of the top headlines we're going to run right into and try to cover them with as much accuracy as possible the big story i saw You know, floating around out there is this story that's gone semi-underreported, to be quite honest.
It's been a blip on the radar, but I think it has more significance than most people will attribute to it, and that is China-backed hackers Are being blamed for a major cyber incident at the United States Treasury Department.
So, on Monday, the U.S. Treasury Department informed lawmakers about a major cyber security threat involving a state-sponsored Chinese hacking group that infiltrated Treasury computers and accessed unclassified documents in a letter circulating on Xbox.
Aditi Hardikar, Assistant Secretary for Management at the U.S. Treasury, revealed that the third-party software provider, BeyondTrust, notified Treasury officials about the breach on December 8th.
The letter is addressed to Senator Sherrod Brown of Ohio and Senator Tim Scott of South Carolina, the chairman and ranking member, respectively, of the Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs.
Chinese threat actors apparently gained access to a key used by the vendor to secure a cloud-based service used to remotely provide technical support for Treasury Department officials, end users, or office end users.
With access to the stolen key, the threat actor was able to override the service's security, remotely access certain Treasury Department The incident has been attributed to a China-state-sponsored Advanced Persistent Threat, or APT, actor.
The compromise beyond Trust Service has been taken offline at this time.
There's no evidence indicating the threat actor has continued to access Treasury information.
The U.S. Treasury has been working with Cybersecurity Infrastructure Aid, Security Agency, the FBI, and other U.S. intelligence agencies, as well as third-party forensic investigators to fully understand the breach and its overall impact.
In accordance with Treasury policy, intrusions attributable to advanced persistent threat actors are considered a major cybersecurity incident, and they're going to give more details in the next 30 days.
That's what we have.
It remains unclear right now how many Treasury workstations the Chinese hacking group was able to infiltrate.
China's disputed this claim, basically saying that they were not involved.
This comes as Chinese hacking groups continue to increase their efforts to hack U.S. organizations under a weak and seemingly pro-China-Biden-Harris administration.
So, what I'm reading in all of this is that China's preparing for something.
Okay, they're getting into our systems not to do anything, in my opinion.
Now, again, take it with a grain of salt.
But in my opinion, I don't think they're in there trying to do anything malicious.
I think they're in there trying to see what's coming.
They're trying to read the tea leaves, no pun intended.
And I think that what they're looking for is what economically is on the horizon for the U.S. dollar.
It is interesting that they go to the Treasury, and not the Federal Reserve, but they are in the Treasury trying to see what moves may be coming down the pipeline.
What the internal chatter is like, perhaps, amongst officials at the Department of Treasury with regard to the incoming Trump administration.
There have been people out there who have speculated for quite some time that a part of Trump's Economic reform plans are plans to ensure that the U.S. dollar is taken in a different direction, away from the Federal Reserve.
However, I'm not sure that that seems as likely as it is.
It's a very far-fetched idea, especially given how corrupt our system is and how we've been exploited and blackmailed and essentially bent over a barrel by our own U.S. Federal Reserve, which is not federal, but a consortium of private banking cartels that have hijacked the American economic system and charge us interest to print money for us.
Funny thing, that is.
But perhaps China's looking to see what is being said behind closed doors at the Department of Treasury.
Perhaps they are worried just as much as most of us should be about an impending financial collapse.
Perhaps they see what's happening in our Congress with regard to how the debt ceiling can get kicked down the road so that there will be, surely, a financial collapse under Trump.
And they are trying to see what plans are being made to either stop it or to push it forward.
Because no matter what anyone says about China, the one thing we do know is that their economy is interconnected with ours in a way that is...
A very codependent relationship.
And if anything happens to the U.S. dollar, then the treasury bonds that China holds are going to have a huge effect on their economy.
It'll have a huge effect on their manufacturing base as we are their number one customer for most of their manufactured goods and items.
So they have every...
They have every reason to be trying to get as much information as they can about what's happening economically here in the United States.
Now, am I using that as an excuse for them to do what they're doing?
No.
But at the end of the day, I mean, we've done this to ourselves.
It's hard to blame China when it's our elite who sold...
And transfer our manufacturing base to China so they could exploit cheap slave labor so they could buy an extra yacht or two and afford their $25- $50 million bonuses.
Now, is that to say I'm anti-capitalist?
Of course not.
But, quite frankly, we've been...
Completely screwed by the people running the show.
That's the takeaway, I think.
And it should be no surprise that China wants to know what's going on.
But when we get back, I have another interesting story talking about China that people should probably look at.
China ordering the largest military build-up since 1930s Germany.
I wonder why.
I wonder what they have their eyes on.
I'll give you a hint.
It's an island off their coast.

So, as we have this major hack that's been attributed to China of the U.S. Department of Treasury...
As I was saying before the break, I mean, we should not be surprised by this in the least.
I'm not using that as an excuse for them to do it, but again, with their economy so intrinsically linked to ours, it would be, I guess, it would almost be a dereliction of their duty to their state If they weren't trying to get as much information as they could, if that makes sense.
Just like we, as Americans, give this sort of license to kill to our intelligence agencies to go out and, by any means necessary, obtain knowledge and information and sources that benefit the U.S. interests, or at least the interests of the deep state globalists running this country, of course.
In the same way, you know, I mean, China's got their own prerogatives.
And that makes perfect sense.
So it's not that the hack itself is something that I believe was necessarily malicious in its nature.
Most likely it was, you know, an exploratory information-finding operation.
To gather info on what the internal chatter at our Department of Treasury is, to figure out what the sentiment is with Trump coming in, what the economic prospects look like going forward, what we're saying internally about...
What we're going to do with monetary policy in regard to budgeting and other things here in the United States, because that is a huge point of contention, particularly with what we're seeing now in Congress, the way that our Funding,
government funding bills are being put through stringent, rigorous sort of processes that are attempting to cut down on federal spending and what that will look like.
I mean, there's all kinds of reasons why they would want to be fly on the wall, if you will, to what's happening in the Department of Treasury.
So that, to me, it makes sense.
However, there's an interesting other aspect to this that people aren't paying too close attention to either, which is rather strange.
According to national security experts, the People's Republic of China has ordered its largest military buildup of any nation in the world since Germany in the 1930s.
But I'm sure there's nothing to see here, folks.
Totally normal.
What they've concluded...
It is that while the American military has spent over $5.4 trillion on the wars that we are currently conducting in the Middle East and other places, our attempt at nation building in Ukraine and now Syria and fighting this war on terror that seems to never end, China has been Funding its military expansion to a level that hasn't been seen in a very long time.
It's an unprecedented military buildup that the world, frankly, hasn't seen since 1930s Germany, said Chuck DeVore, the Chief National Initiatives Officer at the Texas Public Policy Foundation.
He goes on to say, quote, they're massively building up their nuclear arsenal.
We expect it to expand to at least a thousand warheads by 2030, only five years from now, and it will probably be bigger than that.
The Chinese Navy, not by tonnage, but by numbers, is now larger than the U.S. Navy.
And get this, this is one of the scarier stats, or at least not scary, concerning.
China has something like 250 times the shipbuilding capacity that America does.
Among other expansions, China's increased the Arsenal of the People's Liberation Army Rocket Force.
By 50 new intercontinental ballistic missiles, ICBMs, bringing the new total to around 400. The Department of Defense also reports that 300 more medium-range ballistic missiles and 100 long-range cruise missiles have been added.
China currently has over 600 operational nuclear warheads and is expected to increase the total by 1,000 or 2 over 1,000 by 2030. So, taking all of this together, right, and understanding what's happening here.
So, China, I don't think that this build-up, well, I think the build-up's twofold.
They are mimicking the moves of the U.S. government, the United States, in trying to build their military up in a way that the deterrent will be The level of force that they wield, right?
It won't even be that they have to use it.
It will be that they have a Force that is equal to or perhaps surpasses the capability and level of the United States at some point in the future.
And if you take a step back and realize that, you know, we as a country of, you know, over 300 million people and they as a country of, what, one point something billion people, With their manufacturing base,
you know, expanding, ever expanding, and our money going into building China, I mean, watching China go from what it was 20 years ago, 30 years ago, to what it is today is astonishing, to be quite frank.
Now I know China's not perfect, and I know that they cut a lot of corners, and I know the Communist Party is corrupt as the day is long, and that leads to a lot of shortcuts and a lot of things that may look good on paper but aren't as substantial in real life.
I understand all that.
I'm not saying that they're equal to us as of today, but On the pace they're headed, the track they're headed, they will surpass us at some point if there isn't more done to mitigate it.
And by mitigate it, I mean, we're out of...
There aren't many options left that don't involve some sort of kinetic battle at some point in the future with China.
I mean, we can go the peace and prosperity route, but in that scenario, I mean...
We'd be hard pressed to be able to keep up with a nation that has that Just numbers advantage on us, just in population, even though their population's in decline from bad policies from the Chinese Communist Party, perhaps, or particularly the one-child policy, all that stuff.
But they're moving beyond that, and they are advancing, and they have made all but clear, or all but too clear, they're We're good to go.
Not all of us.
There are plenty of people out there who don't see it this way.
But most Americans, I would say, have a very narrow way in which they analyze competitors on the global stage.
Because we analyze it through a, you know, where are we now, where will we be next year, or five years from now, ten years from now.
And that's fine.
Because that is surely an immediate way of analyzing things.
But China has plans that span decades, you know, up to a century.
They're building something and working towards something that I'm not sure we in America are looking at.
You know, we're so focused on the next budget bill and, you know, draining the swamp, which is important and good.
But China's got a very cohesive society that is run by very authoritarian communists who are like these klepto communists in like a semi-capitalist economic structure.
It's like capitalism except communism on top.
I'm sure there's a way of describing that better.
But they've...
They have an advantage in a lot of ways.
Now, we have an advantage in a lot of ways because we have a more free society and we have more nimble, adaptable technology systems and we're ahead of them in a lot of ways.
Through elite capture and through our own government selling us out and through espionage and, you know, essentially copyright infringement, IP theft.
They've been able to catch up very quickly, and it doesn't hurt them that we send them all of our IP and then have them manufacture it with slave labor, and then they just confiscate it on behalf of the party and say, you know, I mean, like, look at one example, right, of the way China does this.
If you look at cell phone manufacturing, right, China is a huge hub for it.
And a lot of, almost all of, not all, but a lot of, the cell phones that we manufacture and use here in the United States are made in China, right?
Apple, etc.
Apple's got huge factories over there.
So...
What happened?
Well, you saw these companies, and Samsung, I think, to a lesser degree.
I think Samsung's a Korean company, so I think they're separate.
But a lot of parts are made in China, etc.
So what's happened is China has...
Essentially just stolen, copied, and made very small changes, if any, these IP, intellectual properties, and just opened up domestic-based manufacturing companies under a different name.
For instance, Huawei.
It's one of the most popular ones.
And I'm not sure which phones it is because you'd have to go look at that specifically.
But I know for a fact that there are phones that are manufactured in China on behalf of US companies that are sold to America that if you go to China and go to like a Huawei store Which is China's own, you know, version of Apple or Samsung or whatever for phone manufacturing.
They're essentially carving copies of the iPhone or the Galaxy or whatever the smartphone is that you use.
And they have, you know, nearly identical operating systems and nearly identical features and nearly identical compositions.
And China just says, well, you know, this was made domestically and it's different because, you know, there's a button here instead of here.
You know what I mean?
So, the point I'm making...
And that's just one thing.
The car manufacturing market is another thing altogether with how they have their own domestic car manufacturing.
Now, 20 years ago, 30 years ago, Chinese cars were garbage.
But, I mean, they've learned to adapt the technology.
And by adapt, I mean mostly just plagiarize and steal IP and manufacture the exact same thing just with a different logo on it.
Right?
And, you know, Tesla's manufacturing all of its electric vehicles.
Not all, but a large portion of them are manufactured and sold into the Chinese market.
Well, guess what?
Magically, a bunch of Chinese knock-off electric cars have popped up and are sold in China domestically.
Because you've got to remember, even if China's Tesla sales for Elon Musk are huge, right?
You've got to remember, he's selling into a market of 1.2, 1.3 billion people.
So, consider...
That if he takes a market share there, even if it's a small one, because his cars probably only sell to the ultra-wealthy Communist Party members who want to look fancy because there's a culture over there surrounding wealth and prestige.
But if you think about it, Even if he dominates the electric vehicle market in America, it's a market of, what, 300 million people?
You know, 300 plus million people?
And the same with iPhone and everything else.
So they sell into that market.
The Communist Party lets them take whatever share of the market, but then the lion's share of the market most likely goes to the Chinese Communist Party, who is stealing the IP, rearranging it a little bit, slapping their logo on it, and selling it into their own market.
And other markets, by the way, in and around China.
Because they don't just export to the United States.
So, there's a lot more to this story, but we'll try to cover it when we come back.

And, you know, we're talking about China.
So, when you think about China, I think a lot of people have sort of a misconception about it.
They associate what China does with what they've done in the past, which is, in a lot of ways, particularly with their manufacturing, they make cheap, inefficient, low-quality products.
Things, right?
Because of a lot of way, in a lot of ways, the way that Chinese culture has evolved, has, you know, been associated with certain things that came about during the Communist Revolution and were a byproduct of communism in general, having that be what's ran the state of China for the last...
I don't know, 70 years or so, there's this sort of misconception, if you will, about, oh, well, that means China must be cheap, and that is true to a degree.
But people, I think, need to understand that, A, China's...
Moving out of that direction.
They're not all the way there.
Yes, a lot of the stuff we get from China is low-quality garbage, but that's intentional.
I mean, they're shipping us the stuff that fills Walmart, for crying out loud, and look, I'm sure there's great things at Walmart occasionally if you want something here and there, but I think we can all agree that the stuff they sell at Walmart is just cheap garbage, right?
And of course, you know, that cheap garbage is what, you know, American consumerism is built on at this point.
You know, if you didn't have your, as seen on TV, you know, egg boiler, You know, that's made in China with plastics and all kinds of poisonous chemicals and disgusting things in it.
And cheap lead and all this crap.
If you knew what they manufactured, the stuff they sell us with, it's crazy.
You say, well, we have standards, we have testing.
Okay, sure.
If you believe that, I have a bridge to sell you.
But they do that.
I mean, there was a whole scale.
They were selling us toys with lead in them.
For crying out loud.
For how long?
Until they finally were like, okay, we need to stop this.
Now, you know, the stuff that's unregulated, they're selling into our market, and nobody says a thing, you know?
The microplastic is in one thing, but the chemicals they use in the manufacturing of a lot of these products is questionable at best.
But...
China's moving away from that, especially in their own domestic markets.
They're not fully there yet, obviously.
They have a lot of people, so they sell that same, the same model they use for supplying America with our cheap crap is the same model they use for supplying their people with cheap crap.
It's the, you know, give them cheap crap so they don't, you know, start a revolution and overthrow the government.
Yeah.
It's the same thing, for instance, here in America with our food industry.
The reason they use all these chemicals and all these things and try to use it all to keep the cost of food low and to keep the McDonald's stocked full of whatever GMO stuff they have there with chemical preservatives and all that stuff that's not healthy for you.
It's so they can keep it cheap and so that they can keep the masses appeased.
I mean, I hate to say it in such a blunt way, but for people who depend on things like food to feed their families, if McDonald's Stop serving burgers tomorrow because all the ingredients we found out have,
you know, lethal and cause cancer, and the FDA actually did its job and shut it down, like they probably should have a long time ago, or at least stopped them from using those ingredients, then there'd be food riots.
And then, if you think about it, I mean, a lot of that is, go back to the French Revolution, you know, how were the monarchy overthrown there?
I mean, they ran out of food to a degree.
And that's an oversimplification, but you get the point.
The point is that if there is no food, there will be riots.
And this can't marry Antoinette, let them eat cake, etc., etc.
So, this is where we're heading.
Or this is where we've come to, at least.
And so in the same way, China's doing the same thing.
I mean, the way that they manufacture, the food standards in China are very much lower than even what they are here.
But then again, you look at the food standard here compared to Europe, and we're probably below the bar as far as, you know, chemicals and preservatives and Genetically modified foods and all this other stuff that is so unhealthy.
I mean, you have to actively fight to...
You have to pay extra and fight to look through the food and make sure what you're getting is what you think you're getting.
And it's unfortunate.
I mean, I go to the store sometimes and I say to my wife, I'm like, I cannot believe that...
To eat healthy, it costs so much extra.
Like, I have to pay more to get healthy food for us.
And I'm sure you out there may feel the same way.
And some of you may eat McDonald's and whatever.
Buyer beware, you know?
And some people, unfortunately, don't have a choice.
All I can afford is McDonald's.
Well, you know...
Maybe, but there is a way to eat healthy without, you know, paying a whole lot either.
I mean, it is, at the end of the day, it's always going to be more cost efficient to cook your own food.
But I digress.
So, China's in this phase where they're building up and becoming closer to Equal with the United States.
They're not there yet by any means.
But China is now trying to flex its military capabilities.
And this is all coming as Trump is heading into office.
Now, I found an article by John Mills that I thought was interesting.
The Chinese are following Mao Zedong's theory, which talks about three phases of revolutionary warfare.
And I want to read these three phases of revolutionary warfare and see if they resonate a little bit with you.
Number one, organization, consolidation, and preservation of base areas, usually in difficult and isolated terrain.
So this is basically security of the Chinese homeland, internal security for suppression, border security to keep out any Cold War invaders and spies, American or Soviet.
Now, they've done that domestically, but they're also doing it abroad now with their expansion with this Belt and Road Initiative, which if you're not familiar with their Belt and Road Initiative, they are trying to essentially recreate the Silk Road.
which if you don't know what the Silk Road was, that was an ancient, you know, Passage of commerce that allowed Asia to export huge amounts of goods into Europe and the West, which created a very prosperous time for them domestically and in Europe as well.
It was a very symbiotic thing, similar to what we're seeing in the exchange between the U.S. and China now, but not necessarily the same.
However, the Belt and Road Initiative is a way of Going to smaller nations and saying that we're going to build a series of shipping ports and what they're doing is a very deceptive thing.
They're offering smaller countries huge loans to develop massive shipping ports which when those smaller countries default on those loans instead of coming in and saying that they demand to be paid they accept payment in the form of land which they can develop into military bases on those nations sovereign territory which then allows them to continue
to expand their Military control.
And shipping is military control in a way too.
So, we'll talk about that and more when we come back.

Now, we were talking about Mao Zedong's Three phases of revolutionary warfare, and we're explaining what China has been engaged in for a while.
And we started off with the first one, which was organizing, consolidating, preserving their base areas.
And we talked about The development, not only domestically, of this net of bases and networks of, you know, security.
I mean, look at their massive domestic surveillance operations, you know, and the social credit score is a form of security and control.
You can go down the list with China.
But then we talked a little bit about the Belt and Road Initiative, which is their attempt at building a modern Silk Road, which is more overly an attempt to sort of conceal their real agenda, which is trapping these nations in these debt traps,
which then forced them to give land for the development of Military bases which can be used to expand their military control over the South Pacific region and then more broadly the world.
So that was one.
The second phase of the three phases of revolutionary warfare is progressive expansion by terror and attacks on isolated enemy units to obtain arms, supplies, and political support.
So this one is described as, as the Chinese economy grew and the kindred spirits of Russia, Iran, North Korea, and Venezuela aligned behind China, maligned foreign influence operations to undermine the West were initiated.
This included fentanyl to America to kill over 100,000 a year for three years in a row.
what we just discussed, the Belt and Road debt traps of development aid for many nations, and securing key global checkpoints such as the Panama Canal.
So this is why Trump's come out, I think, so strongly in support of what we should be doing in Panama and taking control of it because, A, we built it.
So it technically is ours.
We should have never given it away.
That was our weak, feckless leadership there.
Jimmy Carter, thank you.
Rest in peace, I guess.
But beyond that, the influence operations are very real.
Um...
Malign influence operations, like what we've seen with the, what were they called?
They were called the, not Buddhists, the Confucius Institutes here in the United States with the way they infiltrated our colleges, right?
And they still do that.
Believe it or not, through social media, China has waged a very large campaign of influencing our youth and college-aged kids to support and adopt Communist ideologies, which go to undermine the, you know, the Republic of the United States of America.
So, the Constitutional Republic.
So, this is something they've done.
The fentanyl, the Belt and Road stuff, they're doing that.
And finally, the third phase of revolutionary warfare, according to Mao Zedong, would include decision or destruction of the enemy in battle.
Now what this means is as the enemy is weakened, more overt measures can be implemented for a conventional unrestricted warfare phase of conflict.
The relentless typhoon series of cyber attacks against America are growing.
Like we just outlined with the attack on our Department of Treasury, but there have been attacks on the Social Security Administration, on our national security agencies, been attacked.
Other agencies in the White House even, I believe, had attacks on it.
There have been many.
But, as China feels more confident of their military capabilities, they're showing off advanced military platforms that are no longer mimicking U.S. creations, but are starting to demonstrate independent innovation.
Now, this is where it gets scary.
This is what I've been talking about up until now.
This is what people need to wrap their minds around.
First, China was kind of associated with lower level of innovation, manufacturing basically crap, stuff that breaks, stuff that doesn't do well, doesn't stand the test, can't function very well.
Then it was they were stealing our intellectual property and they were just copying what we developed and then taking it and manufacturing it domestically and using it.
They are starting to demonstrate an independent innovation that is starting to surpass our capability to keep up, to outpace.
And this is showing in many different ways.
For instance, China has just manufactured the largest amphibious warfare ship ever.
So China has been able to create this massive ship.
And here's how it's described.
The Chinese Navy...
Look at the U.S. Navy's American and WASP-class with large, flat-decked amphibious warfare ships as versatile light or medium aircraft carriers.
At 45,000 tons, the American and WASP-class are as large as midway-class aircraft carriers at the end of World War II. The plan has already built four, the People of Liberation's Army Navy, has built four of their type 075 large flat deck amphibious warfare ships that look very close to the American WASP class carriers but are slightly smaller at 40,000 tons.
These ships can carry vertical, short takeoff airplanes, but however, the People's Liberation Army Navy Type 075 was just a prelude to the Type 076, which just floated three days ago, four days ago, and...
Was shipped out of a huge, super huge dry dock at Jiangyang Shipyard in Shanghai.
The ship is estimated to be 50 to 5,000 tons, surpassing the American class and making the Type 076 the largest amphibious warfare ship ever.
Okay?
Now...
Does all of this account for what we have at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base or Area 51, Groom Lake or, you know, the secret dumbs in Dolce or whatever?
No, I don't think so.
I think we have technology that may far exceed what we're seeing here, but the point is they are creating a kinetic force that is massive and going to be bigger.

We're talking about China and what they're doing.
So we talked about the three phases of revolutionary warfare, what China's been doing, and how they're now expanding their capabilities, and they're starting to go beyond parity, okay?
And this is what we need to sound the alarm on.
Now, I'm not one of those people who's going to sit here and tell you that China's our only problem.
China's a big problem, mainly because they're communists who would love nothing more than to take over the position that we hold running the world.
Now, that's a gross oversimplification of everything, because there are competing factions, there are all kinds of other things that are involved, but that's the simplest way of putting it.
And we were talking about the fact that they've gotten to a point now where they're demonstrating this independent innovation, which is going beyond what they've done historically, which is mimic and steal IP and recreate what we've created and do that in sort of parity.
They're going beyond parity, where they're becoming more innovative.
They're becoming, you know...
Look, their education system, they actually teach their kids things that help them become smarter and more adapted to Create and innovate,
as opposed to our education system, which if you put your kid in public education here, I mean, they're going to learn how to be a good debt-wage slave who is woke and grovels at the altar of LGBTQ, you know, religion, right?
Worshipping the drag queens, as it were.
Now, again, that's another gross oversimplification, but the point is that that's what they're doing.
So we talk about the largest amphibious warfare ship ever.
They also have not one, but two new stealth strike medium bomber aircraft and a new intelligence plane.
They have the sixth generation fighter known as the White Emperor, which is basically rumored to be very high altitude, including space capable, which is a game changer.
Now, do we have sort of similar things?
Yes, I'm sure.
But, you know, this is stuff we need to be looking at.
The People's Liberation Army Air Force released its J-20, which is a copy of the USF-22, but they have all these other New technologies.
They also have a second aircraft, which was smaller, with the sort of swept wings that are very conventional.
They also have an equivalent H-20, which is equivalent to the USP-21.
They say it won't be ready until 2030, but who really knows?
They also have long-range stealth warships, which are known as The killer whale, which is basically a way for them to coordinate massive attacks with AI and autonomy.
This is really...
I mean, look, the stuff they're developing is not to come over here and play patty cake with us, okay?
The stuff they're developing is saying...
We are ready and willing to go to war.
And if you think about it, they have almost a billion more people than we do that they could throw at any invasion or, you know, attempt to go to war.
So that's something we should probably think about.

Starting tomorrow, driving while holding the phone will not only be distracting, dangerous, and potentially deadly, it will also be illegal.
A new law goes into effect Wednesday banning all handheld phone use while driving.
While texting and driving is already illegal in Colorado, this law also makes phone calls and using GPS illegal if you are holding the phone.
The Montrose County Sheriff's Office and the Montrose Regional Crime Stoppers are seeking the public's help to identify and locate suspects tied to injuring and killing cattle.
On Sunday, the suspects are believed to have used a firearm to injure and kill cattle between 4 and 10 a.m., about one mile south of the Delta and Montrose County line.
This is after we reported just a few weeks ago that nearly 180 cattle were unaccounted for when ranchers went up to the Uncompahgre Plateau to bring down cattle We're good to go.
Awards for the Urban and Community Forestry Grant Program through the State Forest Service are funding tree projects in underserved and marginalized areas throughout the state.
The money comes from the Federal Inflation Reduction Act and is dispersed through the Colorado State Forest Service.
$1.6 million is being divided among 11 projects in eight counties, including the Longmont Urban Forest Resiliency in Boulder, Salida Adopt-a-Tree in Chafee County, and an urban canopy project in Mesa.

So, we're back.
It's hour two.
We have other stories to get to.
I don't want to spend the whole day talking about what's been happening in China.
I thought that was a good story, though, to kind of get down and dig into.
There are other stories out there, and we'll try to cover them as best we can.
One story that piqued my interest and curiosity is this story that It's really not going very highly reported.
It's another just blip on the radar, nothing to see here.
But scientists are warning that underwater volcano off of Oregon coast is primed to erupt in 2025. So this is an interesting story.
Researchers monitoring Axial Seamount, an active underwater volcano located approximately 292 miles off the coast of Oregon, have forecast an eruption in 2025. This prediction is allegedly based on comprehensive real-time data collected over the past decade.
The active volcano last erupted in April of 2015. This eruption was significant as it was detected in real-time by instruments installed as part of the Ocean Observatories Initiative Cabled Array.
Marking the first time an underwater eruption was monitored live.
Prior to this, actual seamount erupted in 1998 and 2011. Since the 2015 eruption, scientists have observed the volcano's gradual re-inflation, which indicates magma recharge.
As of March 2024, the seamount was reported to be 90 to 95% re-inflated to its pre-2015 eruption level and suggesting that another eruption could be forthcoming.
So I bring up this story because it's not necessarily about the volcano as it is about the threats that we face that are both man-made and sort of We don't just face threats of sort of, you know, a man-made variety.
We also have these major events that could be coming down the pipeline, which is why I think it's always incredibly important to be prepared.
Now, will this volcano do anything significant?
Not sure.
If it's erupted this many times before, it's probably not going to be that significant if it were to erupt again.
But when I saw this story, it sort of reminded me of what We know has been threatened by other nations, right?
Which is the idea that nuclear bombs can be used and set off off of the coast of certain areas to create these massive tsunamis, which in turn could be basically used as a threat of, you know, another weapon of mass destruction, right?
And a lot of people, a lot of people have made strong arguments for the fact that what we saw in Fukushima, in Japan, what was it, a few decades ago?
It was 2011, I want to say?
Don't quote me on that.
Whenever Fukushima was.
The tsunami that hit the nuclear power plant that irradiated the water, which in turn created a very disastrous scenario for the Japanese people there.
That that is something that was created...
Perhaps man-made by some state actor trying to, you know, do something.
Perhaps it was just a natural phenomenon, another tsunami.
Who knows?
We know that Russia has threatened to use this sort of weapon against the British in no uncertain terms.
They've made it all but too clear that they are willing to use a weapon of that nature and do something akin to that.
So the possibility exists.
When I think of China, like we've talked about before, and I think of what they may want to do, I mean, another area that's very vulnerable to this sort of phenomena, this sort of tsunami danger that we've talked about for many, many years is Seattle, Washington, Oregon.
You know, Washington and Oregon particularly, their coastline is highly susceptible because of The way that the fault lines run and the way that the sort of...
Topography lays out there.
They've said that, you know, everything from perhaps a volcano, if it was big enough, I'd imagine, but also there are fault lines there where if there were a major earthquake, it could cause a tsunami, to, you know, what if there were weapons that were being threatened to be used there?
I'm not saying this is what's going to happen.
I'm not even saying it's going to happen the way that I'm telling you it might, but the fact of the matter is that when you see a story like this, it's good to keep it on the radar and just understand that, you know, that's not even the only threat we have.
I know this is sort of doom and gloom.
I feel like I'm just going into different disaster scenarios, which we should be prepared for, but there is the Great Flash scenario, which they say is...
Getting close to being overdue where, you know, what we had in the 1800s with that solar flare that knocked out all the telegraph lines, if that were to happen today, that it could plunge the entire world into a blackout, the likes of which we most likely couldn't even imagine.
Is that going to happen?
I don't know.
I doubt it.
Well, I don't doubt it, but I hope it doesn't happen.
Let's put it that way.
That hopefully we won't have to face that sort of scenario.
But these are all good things to prepare for.
I don't know.
There are also other natural disasters.
You know, the San Andreas Fault Line everybody so famously talks about out there in California.
You have, you know, earthquakes, tornadoes, hurricanes.
Magnetic pole reversal.
That could be related to some sort of solar event.
There is so much out there, folks.
That's why I put my faith in God.
I get up every day and I thank Him that I have breath in my lungs that I'm here with you because, boy, we are just setting things up here.
But it also reminds me, and I should remind you, to really enjoy and take advantage of this time of relative peace that we have.
And prosperity and our ability to be with our family and friends.
So don't get too consumed by all this.
Really just uses an excuse to get up and thank God for every day and make the most of it.
So that's how I came full circle there on it.
Hopefully that was a little bit more positive than negative.

We're talking about some interesting news stories.
We're bouncing around a little bit here, but we're coming to this story that I wanted to share.
So I want to give a preface to this story before we play it, but I'll play the story for you in a minute.
Catherine Herridge, who you know was...
A reporter who worked for CBS News for a while, then basically got let go, had to go independent.
She's been, you know, on the forefront of a lot of stories that are important.
Now, I ought to preface this by saying when I hear Catherine Herridge report on things, I understand as somebody who knows how the game is played that a lot of these stories are put out to form a narrative.
And for instance, in this story in particular, which is about directed energy weapons that have been used against members of the intelligence community, which are going underreported and if not which are going underreported and if not completely ignored, and they're being covered up because they don't want to admit that there are certain things happening,
The revelation in this is not that the directed energy weapons are coming from Russia or wherever because that's what the spin on the story is like.
You know, couldn't be more obvious.
We're trying to paint Russia as the aggressor to continue to build support for this war that we're waging against them in Ukraine.
So, you know, the big bad Russian wolves are, you know, hitting innocent U.S. intelligence, you know, data secretaries with energy weapons.
It might be true.
I'm not saying that that's not what's happening here, but I understand what they're doing here.
The reason this story is being reported is it's a narrative-building story.
They're building the narrative of Russia, evil, bad.
They've hurt us, so we have to go after them.
The two things that I took out of the story that I thought were important...
Where A, obviously, that this poor woman has been hurt.
She's a whistleblower from the CIA who's come forward to say that she was damaged or she was hurt by these energy weapons and that they've essentially covered it up and not, you know, come out and talked about it at all.
But B, that these directed energy weapons exist and are being used.
I mean, we already know they exist, but that they're being used clandestinely, It's something that is sort of revelatory and it is worth noting.
So if you can navigate the waters of understanding that part of this story is most likely propaganda campaign to, whether right or wrong, frame Russia as The aggressor with these energy weapons, but I'm sure if they exist and Russia's used them against us, if that's the case, then we have certainly used them against them, and this is just an ongoing battle.
It's not like this is, oh, well, they use these weapons against us.
We would never do such a thing.
Yeah, okay.
However, it's an interesting story on the list.
Let me play some of it for you here.
The intelligence community has attempted to thwart congressional investigative efforts to uncover the truth at every turn.
I mean, that sounds like a government cover-up.
It's a cover-up, and it's terrifying.
And it should be terrifying to all Americans.
Now requiring the aid of a service dog just a few years ago, this retired CIA officer handled national security missions, which remain classified to this day.
At that time, what was your portfolio?
I am not at liberty to assure that.
Alice, an alias, is speaking out for the first time about debilitating injuries reported among hundreds of U.S. government personnel.
The new congressional report found that it appears increasingly likely that a foreign adversary is behind these injuries.
Your reaction?
Thank God they're saying it.
Thank God they were brave enough to stand up to the CIA. The Republican House report accuses the intelligence community leadership, the CIA, and the Director of National Intelligence of shaping a politically palatable conclusion.
If they're politicizing this, what else are they?
Not telling the president.
And that's scary.
That's where it becomes, like, more real.
A decade ago, this national security memo confirmed intelligence about a high-powered microwave system weapon that may have the ability to weaken, intimidate, or kill an enemy over time.
Nicknamed Havana Syndrome, after a cluster of cases in Cuba, the mysterious cognitive and neurological symptoms strike diplomatic, intelligence, and military personnel.
You were attacked.
Yes.
You were attacked by an energy weapon.
Yes, a directed energy weapon.
My ear started hurting.
I started having vertigo.
The room was spinning.
My head started pulsing.
Like, it hurt so badly.
And I had a ton of pain in my left ear.
And my ears started ringing.
And I thought I was going to pass out.
The official name is Anomalous Health Incidents or AHIs.
The recent congressional report found they have been reported domestically as well as abroad, including Austria, China, Colombia, Georgia, Germany, India, Poland, Russia, and Vietnam.
I was serving in Africa and I experienced an anomalous health incident in my home on a Saturday night and I heard a weird noise.
It was a really weird sound that I'll never forget it.
And after about a second or two, I felt it in my feet, kind of like the reverb from a speaker.
So you're feeling a vibration?
I heard a noise, a weird noise, and then I felt it.
So what do you think the weapon looks like?
I think that there are probably multiple weapons.
I think there are weapons that can be fit in backpacks, ones that can be fit in the trunks of cars, ones that can be planted at a position with line of sight.
To people from across the street.
Based on our investigative reporting, many victims were assigned portfolios linked to Russian interests, from cybersecurity to election interference and disinformation.
Others had specialized language skills.
This government record says that you have a traumatic brain injury.
I believe the Russian GRU came to my house late at night.
And took me off the battlefield.
Russian intelligence, yes.
Alice's injuries are so debilitating, she needed multiple breaks during our interview.
At times she wore dark glasses to blunt the studio lights.
Let's talk about the symptoms you've experienced.
Ringing in the ears.
Vertigo.
Yes.
Head and ear pressure.
Yes.
Eye tracking issues.
Yes.
Cognitive difficulties.
Yes.
Traumatic brain injuries.
Yes.
Taken altogether.
Is it a struggle every day?
Yes.
I never thought I'd be retired in my 40s.
Medically retired?
Yeah.
Do you feel like your old self died the day of the attack?
A little bit, you know.
I was paid for my brain.
I was paid for my ability to write well and to write for the president.
I was paid to meet with foreigners and to get information that would help advance U.S. security objectives.
I can't do that anymore the way I used to, and it's really, that's one of the hardest parts.
As cases spiked in 2021, the same year Alice says she was attacked, multiple sources told us CIA Director Burns said privately that it was his personal belief Russia was behind some of the attacks.
Has CIA Director Burns, based on your experience, tried to do the right thing?
I think he's a really good person at his core.
I think he was being honest when he said he thought it was Russia.
You know, he's a Russia expert.
He was the U.S. ambassador there.
I mean, I think it's a sign of how political this is that even he fell in line.
While experts uncovered evidence suggesting a weapon, in 2023, the intelligence community took a controversial position that it's very unlikely a foreign adversary is responsible.
If I had received the finished paper on my desk as a team chief, I would have sent it back to the analysts and said, you have to start over again.
It didn't mean any of our most basic tradecraft standards.
Was the 2023 report a slap in the face completely?
Was it demoralizing?
Yes.
Humiliating?
Yes.
Was it a betrayal after you pledged to serve your country?
Yes.
I miss my colleagues and I miss the work every single day.
It was really tough work.
But you loved the work.
I loved it.
Merriam-Webster defines gaslighting as psychological manipulation that causes the victim to question the validity of their own thoughts.
Did the CIA gaslight you?
Me and every other age I've done.
Was the CIA gaslighting designed to hurt you?
It was designed to make us think ourselves are crazy and to, like, question our own injuries.
Did you expect more from the CIA? 100%.
We swore this oath, and every day I watched them continue to deny people's humanity and their injuries.
Is it reasonable to think Yes.
Yes.
One theory we bet around is, is it possible that's Russia and China?
Is it possible that one country created it, sold it, or gave it to another country?
While the CIA still questions the cause, the Labor Department does accept Alice's traumatic brain injury as a work injury.
Alice qualifies for limited compensation through a law called the Havana Act.
It is a full-time job to try to get medical treatment and is another full-time job to try to handle the bureaucracy of trying to access benefits.
I've gone over $100,000 out of pocket for this.
$100,000?
Because none of these places take health insurance.
And if they're experimental, which we need, the reality is a normal physician cannot help us.
This is different.
AHIs are much more complicated, and we're basically like taking time bombs, Catherine.
You know, I've already started having to go to funerals.
Friends of mine...
I mean, my friend that was with me the day I got my dog has already passed away.
A fellow AHIs forever.
Of a rare form of cancer.
I have friends in nursing homes.
I have friends with dementia and Parkinson's.
In some ways, you know, people have a heart attack.
And if you don't die of it, we know how to fix a heart attack.
We don't know how to fix this.
According to these heavily redacted government records, after Alice was medically retired, the CIA pulled her security clearance, citing psychological conditions.
It sounds like retaliation.
Yes, my lawyers also believed that as well.
Did CIA treat women officers differently?
Yes.
I've done some reporting where I've heard complaints that female officers Officers were told.
Do you think you're having problems because of your hormones?
Yes.
Yes.
It's like we're in the 1950s.
They brought up, could you be pregnant?
Are you upset because you're not pregnant?
Is it hormones?
Is it menopause?
Is it perimenopause?
Do you have an anxiety disorder?
Were any of the men asked if their hormones were to blame for their symptoms?
Not that I'm aware of.
I'm not saying that men have been treated well.
But there hasn't been a systemic action against them.
After recent government studies found no medical explanation for their symptoms, a senior military official sent this letter, obtained by our investigative team, that validates their experiences and reaffirms a commitment to identify the cause.
This Defense Department letter is significant.
Yes.
It states, we believe your experiences are real and we are unwaveringly committed to continue to provide quality care for you and those who are eligible.
The Department of Defense believes us and has actually gone to bat for those of us from across the U.S. government.
I would not be getting care if it wasn't for senior GOD leadership.
What explains this disconnect?
We have a Defense Department letter that says, we believe you, and yet the intelligence community, the CIA, says there's nothing to see here.
The brave people of the Department of Defense that have worked on this issue and were willing to stand up to the CIA. Is it fair to assess that the CIA, the intelligence community's motivation, is that this story is bad for recruitment?
This is true.
I don't know if that's why they're doing it, but this is terrible for recruitment and retention.
After so many years of quiet advocacy, why come forward now?
Because the CIA is betraying and not just betraying but like making friends of mine and my life a living hell.
I want them to stop denying what is happening to us and so there can be opportunities to collect the information that we need so that we can prevent this from happening to more people.
Will a Trump-Vance administration make a change?
I really hope so.

We just heard that Catherine Harris' report of a CIA whistleblower has come forward and claims that her career-ending injuries were caused by foreign-directed energy weapons.
That side of the story is probably true.
I don't think that this woman's making up the fact that there were some outside forces that used directed energy weapons against her, and that she is telling the truth about her injuries.
That seems very believable, and it is revelatory.
But, you know, the propaganda side of it, I think, is connected to, you know, framing this as Russia is...
You know, it probably is.
Maybe, might be China, might be some other foreign actor who got their hands on this technology somehow and were using it.
I mean, this whole thing started with the Havana Syndrome.
This was being used in Africa, which we know she said that she sustained these injuries partially in Africa.
And if you think about it, who has a bigger footprint right now in Africa, Russia, or China?
I would argue China, just given the fact that they've, you know, started pushing the Spelton Road Initiative into that area of Africa.
They want natural resources.
They've been able to co-opt a lot of governments there.
And Russia, I'm sure, has a footprint as well, but so do the United States, France, The Netherlands, I mean, you name it, the English, the British, UK, they have, everybody has their hands in the Africa cookie jar trying to get what they can while they're getting this good.
So it's something to be looked at.
More closely, I guess.
But at this point, you know, the revelation is that these directed energy weapons are being used.
And somebody pointed out in the text message, thank you, by the way, if you guys want to text 877-536-1360 is the number.
They first texted in about the Yellowstone volcano, which is another one that would be major.
And yes, I don't like to think of the Yellowstone volcano too much since we live...
So close to it here in Colorado, on the front range of Northern Colorado.
I mean, we're not right on it, but with the direction of the earth spinning and the jet stream, if there were a Yellowstone volcano eruption, which there might be, who knows, it would be...
Not good for us here.
Let's just put it that way.
So, there wouldn't be much you could do to prepare for that.
That would be one of those scenarios where the only thing you could do if you survived it would be to leave and go somewhere else, I would assume, given the ash and all the other things.
But, they also texted it and said...
Speaking of this story, they said, What they're referring to is that strange incident that occurred where Trump gave a speech at a rally in Tucson,
Arizona, where a number of attendees who were seated on the stage behind Trump were hospitalized with very similar...
And at the time of this event, when we saw it all unfold, there was much speculation that there was some sort of energy weapon that was used, possibly directed at Trump, that ended up hitting others on that stage that day.
Now how that happens is fairly simple.
These kind of weapons, if they were concealed, would be highly Dangerous to people who are exposed to them, but they would be difficult to aim particularly and difficult to hit the target.
And this is why people speculated that the weapon may have been aimed at Trump, but had missed its target and hit the people sitting behind Trump, which would explain why they were taken out and taken to the hospital with all these very strange symptoms.
Again, similar to what we just heard described by that CIA whistleblower.
I think that's a good point.
I never really followed up too much on that.
I'm trying to think, was the Tucson rally before July 13th?
Let me look that up real quick because I want to...
I want to verify that.
No, that was...
I think that was in September.
Yeah, I mean, and the national news reported on this.
This wasn't like...
Some, you know, conspiracy theory.
Several Trump supporters seated on stage during Tucson rally experienced eye injuries.
This was a widely covered story.
One of them was Myra Rodriguez, who was a prominent figure in the Republican Party after becoming a Planned Parenthood whistleblower.
She was hospitalized along with others who had suffered these very real injuries.
I believe this rally would have been after the assassination attempt on Trump.
So this would have been just another in a series of attacks on Trump.
And if you think about it, what we're facing here, folks, is nothing short of an all-out battle for freedom In this nation, a battle against what you would say is tyranny, what you would say is corruption.
So they're really ruthless, but that's a good point, and I'm glad that they brought that up.

But that's where my mind goes when I look at this story of...
The CIA whistleblower, I think, again, with Catherine Herridge, she has very deep ties with intelligence.
She's been a reporter for the national news for decades.
She's broken a lot of stories that, be honest, they are very important stories, but a lot of them are, you know, Pretty much all stories that are reported on by reporters at her level are shaped and framed as narratives that are being deliberately, you know, handed to the American public to shape a narrative, to shape a public opinion, to shape, you know what I mean?
So, I take what she reports on with a grain of salt.
I don't just take it at face value to say, oh, Catherine Harris says it's Russia, so we gotta go get them Russians.
Well, maybe it was China.
Maybe it was someone else.
You know, we don't know who it was, but as I said before, the important information really lies in the Information about directed energy attacks, what they do, what the symptoms are, how this person felt it, and how they knew they had been attacked, and now the symptoms and the repercussions that they're dealing with from it.
So that, I think, is the ultimate takeaway for me, which I think is very important to understand.
If we don't grasp these things and get a hold of it, In an understanding that, I mean, we're beyond...
This is like when the church committee came out and said they had the heart attack guns, right?
Everybody was like, what do you mean a heart attack gun?
And they're like, well, it shoots a super cold pellet of arsenic into your body that dissolves after it's administered and is practically untraceable.
Well, that's horrifying.
I mean, that's literally terrifying.
It makes you question...
The legitimacy of a number of deaths that have occurred, quote-unquote, naturally, over the last several decades.
And if that's what they had in the 70s, what do you think we're dealing with here today, folks?
As this woman pointed out, now they're telling us, this is like another church community, they're like, hey, we have these directed energy weapons, by the way.
Basically, ray guns, they can shoot you through walls and scramble your brain like a fried egg.
Oh, but don't worry about the 5G tower putting up next to your house, ma'am.
You'll be just fine.

I'm your host, Craig James, and we have a few more stories I want to get into here today.
One of the stories that's making its way around social media, which it's very hard to nail down because it's very hard to find any real verified sources of it, but it's just this story that's popping up in different places.
People are reporting a very mysterious fog, and I know You know, fog.
It's like, it's fog.
I don't know what to tell you.
It's fog.
But they're reporting that in certain areas this fog is descending and they are experiencing an effect, an after effect of it, the flu and cold symptoms almost, you know, immediately after exposure to this fog.
Now, so far, the reports I've seen have the fog being spotted in places from Minnesota to East Texas to Orange County, California.
So it's not central to one area or another.
It's just being reported now that this fog is falling onto different places and areas, and that in those areas, shortly after the fog descends and people are exposed to it, they are then experiencing sort of flu-like symptoms akin to, you know, common cold type stuff.
Now, that's the story as far as I can track it.
It's hard to even get a grasp on what this is and what it might be other than, again, that there's a fog that's being reported in different cities and states across the country that is leading to certain symptoms that people are interpreting as being, you know, related to flu.
What is this related to?
Well, if you look back, for instance, there are patents that exist going back to the 1920s, which use a process for producing intense artificial clouds,
fogs, or mists, Which have been used for a very long time for various purposes, including military camouflage, weather modification, and dispersal of certain chemical and biological agents.

The particular U.S. patent you can look at from the 1920s is U.S. Patent 1338343A, which is a patent that was...
Invented by Paul Weiss of Paris and Jules Verdeer of France, of Indien, France, which basically describes this sort of thing, but we know about this from other, you know...
What is it?
Agent Orange was one they used in Vietnam.
They did the weather modification in Vietnam using the cloud seeding and everything.
And then the crazy thing is they told us for so long, they're like, oh, it's a conspiracy theory.
What are you talking about?
And then they're like, oh, yeah, by the way, it's real, but...
You don't have to worry about it.
So who knows what's in this fog.
I just would suggest if you can at all, stay away from it.
If you see it pop up in your area, probably good to stay inside and to not be exposed to it too much.
Probably a good rule of thumb for fog in general, right?
If you can avoid it.

Of course, Donald Trump's come out.
This is one of the stories I guess we'll wrap up on.
Donald Trump came out and endorsed Speaker Mike Johnson for his upcoming nomination to be re-voted in as Speaker of the House.
A lot of people are pointing to this and saying, you know, it's basically Paul Ryan 2.0.
And it may be true.
And one of the things that I kind of get a little vexed by is when people, you know, say, how could Donald Trump, you know, betray us like this?
And I just think to myself, folks, at this point, if you don't understand how the game is played and how Trump plays it, you've got to catch up because, you know, politically, Trump is a pragmatist.
He understands not just the implication of, you know, if Mike Johnson becomes the Speaker again, but what's the implication if there is another battle for the Speakership in the House?
What that means for his ability to get things done, especially as he's coming in to office.
So I think it's a pragmatic thing.
I think if somewhere down the line, Trump wants to get rid of Mike Johnson if he doesn't tell the line.
Excuse me.
There goes my voice.
Then, uh, there it is.
I found it.
Then I guess, you know, Trump will have to take that on down the line.
But, for now, we'll see.

You know, I think Trump, again, is a political pragmatist.
He understands that he needs the Congress to be in session going when he gets into office, and that won't be the case if they're fighting over speakership races, and that'll take away from his ability to get things done.
And again, if somewhere down the line he needs to get rid of Mike Johnson, that would be a very easy thing to do.
And I think Mike's been spending a lot of time with him, so hopefully, you know, they've Developed a relationship where, you know, Trump will be able to get things done he needs to get done, and we'll just have to wait and see how that plays itself out.
But...

Speaking of New Year's, you know, I found a verse that kind of speaks toward the New Year, and it's from the book of Philippians, chapter 3, and it's verse 12 through 14. This talks about Reaching forward to God's goal.
And that's what we need to do in this new year upcoming.
As we start a new year, let's together, let's reach forward to God's goal.
And let me encourage you this way.
If you are looking for a resolution, a lot of people make their resolutions to get healthy, get in the gym.
But I want to encourage you to take this moment to make a resolution to yourself for this new year's to get back in the scripture if you haven't been in it for a while.
At a great place to start.
It's in the book of Proverbs.
If you're just wanting to get back into scripture, go to the book of Proverbs.
There are 31 chapters and there are 31 days in the month of January.
So if you start on chapter 1 tomorrow, reading one chapter a day, by the end of the month of January, you will have read the entire book of Proverbs.
And that is a great place to start in the scripture.
But let's listen to Philippians chapter 3 here.
It says...
Not that I have already reached the goal or am already fully mature, but I make every effort to take hold of it because I also have been taken hold of by Jesus Christ.
Brothers, I do not consider myself to have taken hold of it, but one thing I do, forgetting what is behind and reaching forward to what is ahead, I pursue as my goal the prize promised by God's heavenly call in Christ Jesus.
I'm sharing those words, the words of Paul, telling you and me together to look forward and put God first.
That's what I want us all to do in this upcoming new year.
I want us to look forward and reach ahead.
Understanding that we may not be fully mature yet, we may not have the full spiritual wisdom that God intends for us to have in our lives, and we may be struggling and stumbling toward it, but do not consume yourself with what is behind us.
Once you've given your life to Christ, there is a new life that begins.
The old you is dead.
The new you is alive in Christ.
And you must look forward every day with that.
And if you don't have that in your heart, here's your opportunity as we start a new year.
Perhaps you've been waiting for somebody to give you this, but here I am giving it to you.
You have a gift of eternal salvation, and the only thing you have to do to realize it is to call upon the name of Jesus, open your heart up, say a prayer, call on His name, accept Him as your Lord and Savior, and you are given a gift of eternal salvation and peace in your heart, and you can become a new man or woman, and you can reach forward to God's goal, as is described here in the Scripture.
So, that's my encouragement to you.
I want to wish you all a very happy new year, 2025. It's going to be quite a year, I'm sure.
But God's with us.
So, take hope.
Take solace.
Take courage.
And find peace.
That's where I'm going to leave it, though.
