It starts with words.
The truth, it is the middle ground between light and shadow, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge.
This is Just Informed Talk Radio, where we are not ashamed of the gospel, because it is God's power for salvation to everyone who believes.
It doesn't even matter how hard you try.
Keep that in mind.
I designed this rhyme to explain in due time.
All I know.
Time is a valuable thing.
Watch it fly by as the pendulum swings.
Watch it count down to the end of the day.
The clock takes life away.
It's so unreal.
Didn't look out below.
Watch the sign go right out the window.
Trying to hold on, but you didn't even know Wasted it all just to watch you go I kept everything inside, and even though I tried Good morning and welcome to another Just Informed talk radio show.
I'm your host, Craig James.
Hope you guys are ready, because it's coming.
You know exactly what I'm talking about.
The 2024 presidential election is upon us.
We are currently 16 hours and 55 minutes from the beginning of the election.
And boy, let me just say this.
It's going to be...
Epic no matter what happens.
And in every scenario that I've kind of war-gamed out over the last several months, I see either way a very tumultuous Series of weeks and months ahead, regardless of the outcome.
Now, of course, you know, here we've openly endorsed Donald J. Trump.
We've also gone through the ballots and talked about the initiatives.
We've talked about a lot of things, but the big thing right now that I want to get across to everybody out there listening is you need to get up and vote.
If you haven't voted yet, go vote.
Men, if you've been debating whether you want to participate in this election, I have only one word for you.
Vote.
Make sure you vote.
Because, look, that's what it's going to take.
We all have to take part and make our voices heard, and I think that's really what we need to do.
We also need to encourage our family and friends to vote, at least if they're going to vote conservative.
If not, they can stay home.
That's fine.
But today is also an important day because it is the day before the 2024 election, and We here at the Just Informed Talk radio show have teamed up with our friends over at God's Feeding Station.
Today is our day of fasting, prayer, and repentance.
And I hope you guys have joined me so far this morning in fasting and praying and repenting, which is what I've done before.
A little bit of this morning.
I'm fasting currently.
I plan to fast.
My fast began last night.
And I will fast until this evening.
And so I'm going for basically just a 24-hour fast that will allow me to take time today to really focus on the things that matter.
And that's going to God.
Because ultimately at this point, for us as individuals, At this point, a lot of this stuff's out of our hands, if it's not entirely.
Now, you can get up and go out and vote, and I encourage you to do that, you know, today or tomorrow if you get an opportunity.
But the overall outcome is really out of our hands.
It's in God's hands.
And I want to take time in today's show to talk about What that means and what that looks like.
So we're going to have a few guests joining us here throughout the show today.
Coming up at the bottom of the hour, we're going to be joined by my pastor and somebody you're probably familiar with if you've been listening to the show for any amount of time, Pastor Dean Miller from Front Range Baptist Church here in Fort Collins, Colorado.
So he's going to join us to talk a little bit about fasting and repentance and prayer and this election and kind of tie it all together for us in a way that I think is going to be a super valuable insight, a little bit of wisdom that I'm sure we all need.
And then at the top of the hour, we're going to be joined by our good friend Henry Loque from God's Feeding Station.
He's going to be joining us to kind of, again, go over fasting, prayer, repentance, and what this day should be about.
Because, look, you know, we look at all the polls and everything saying, you know, Trump's up, Trump's down.
You look at the betting markets, Trump's up, Trump's down.
It really, at this point, to me, at least, looks like It's impossible to say which way this election is going to go.
Now, there's a way that I want it to go, but I heard a powerful message over the weekend in the form of a song, and it basically talks about when I want my will to be done and it's not your will, God's will, Let your will be done, Lord.
Let God's will be done.
Because I don't claim to have...
A fraction of an ounce of the insight and wisdom that God has.
And I know that I trust in the Lord.
And in this scenario, look, we've done all we can.
We've, you know, ran the race as far as it'll take us.
Of course, we can still vote because that's coming up here in the next day or two, or the next day, I should say, tomorrow, today and tomorrow.
But we've done what we can for this election, and it's going to be in God's hands.
And I know there's all kinds of evil out there, right?
There's all kinds of evil.
There's all kinds of deception and treachery and, you know, malignant forces, evil forces out there who are trying to do these things.
But remember, you know, as we read throughout Psalms and other places, These people, their traps that they set for us, we pray to the Lord that they will fall into them.
For instance, here in Colorado, we have our Secretary of State, Jenna Griswold, who may just have been a part of a very comprehensive scheme to leak the passwords for our voting equipment.
Which actually, it turns out, according to different sources, may actually in some cases be universal passwords that are used by, you know, not just our state here, but could possibly, in fact, be used by other states because there are factory preset passwords that could be taken and then used on the same type of voting machines in other states.
This is a...
Very evil and dark force that they've brought into this election to try to undermine it.
And I just think that we have to be aware of it.
But right now, I mean, we have the story Colorado Libertarians are suing Jenna Griswold because of the leak of the voting equipment passwords, which seemingly was intentional.
And this is a Libertarian Party, for crying out loud.
They've asked the...
They've asked the court to decommission voting equipment and order a hand count of ballots in counties affected.
Because at this point, how can we trust the legitimacy of the election here in Colorado when the machines have been compromised since August?
If you look at the length of time in which this set of passwords was posted online by the Secretary of State's office.
And this is just one example of so many across the board that we're seeing here, from Pennsylvania to Colorado to California to everywhere in between.
There are dozens and dozens of stories that I could report on, I just don't have enough time to do it, that are dealing with different cases of voter fraud and the manipulation of these machines.
And that's just why I think today is an important day, more than any other day, to go to God and ask for Him to intervene, to let His will be done.
So we're coming back.
Stay tuned.
Here's the deal.

No, said I'd never fall in love again, but it's real and the feeling comes shining through.
I'm so caught up with you, little girl, that I never did this bad thing.
So caught up with you.
back to Just Form Talk Radio.
I'm your host, Craig James.
Of course, as I've said before, this is our day of fasting, prayer, and repentance.
And I hope you guys have joined us in doing that today.
We're going to be basically taking today and going to God and asking for the Lord to intervene in whatever way He sees fit.
We're going to give Him the glory and we're going to give Him The praise and we're gonna praise him no matter what through all of this because at this point for pretty much all of us besides those who haven't voted yet there's not a whole lot we can do to change the outcome of the election it's gonna be what it's gonna be so the question now becomes well now what well now We
call on the name of the Lord and ask Him to come into this...
Election in this country, in this nation, in this world, and help bring us back to him.
Because I know that a lot of us out here have seen the stories over the weekend.
You know, I tell you what, for anybody who watches a little bit of TV or happened to be catching any sporting events this weekend, I mean, my gosh, it was just...
Unbelievable, the amount of political acts that I think pretty much all the commercials that I saw over the weekend were almost 100% political one way or the other.
They were either pro-Trump, anti-Trump, pro-Kamala, anti-Kamala, pro-Gabe Evans, anti-Gabe Evans, and so on and so on.
I mean, they were all just completely over-the-top And I actually have a theory about it, but it's just a pretty simple one.
It's just that people are so burnt out on this because I know I cover this every day.
Maybe I'm hypersensitive to it because I sit here behind this microphone and I do the analysis and breakdowns every day and I follow these stories very closely, but I'm getting tired of the commercial.
I can't imagine what the normal person must be thinking who just, you know, Sits down and turns on the TV and all of a sudden just gets bombarded with commercial after commercial after commercial.
It must be overwhelming.
And I almost got the feeling that it was like a form of torture.
Like, it was like, well, you know, if you just vote for me, then the commercials will stop, which just seems like the opposite of what campaigns should do in this country.
But I did see some interesting things on the commercials.
Kamala has come out now and kind of made this play toward the middle for the last couple weeks, at least a month, maybe.
She's kind of played the more moderate.
She's going for the independents.
She knows she's got her voters in the bank, so she's going after the independents, coming out with more moderate positions on things, which, I mean, is just, to me, another form of deception.
When you look at it, because obviously and clearly, if you look at her policy positions over her time as, you know, senator and vice president, she's wildly, you know, left of center, extreme far left.
And now she's saying that she's going to do all these things that, you know, doesn't make sense.
You know, I'm going to close the board.
I'm going to, you know, secure the border, she keeps saying.
It's like, well...
You're going to secure the border that you've been in charge of for the last four years?
To get that straight, you're going to secure that border?
I mean, okay.
She's going to fix the economy, right?
You mean you fix the economy you've been in charge of for the last four years?
Again?
I hear these things, and I'm like, The average voter has to be aware of just the complete ridiculous nature of these claims and how they actually undercut her own argument for being elected, you know?
I broke it.
Now I'm going to fix it.
Trust me.
It's like, um, hmm.
But there are other stories here today.
And again, we're going to be joined here at the bottom of the hour by our friend, Pastor Dean Miller.
He's going to talk about the election and why we need to go to God and what that looks like.
And I'm very excited for it.
But before we do that, I guess we'll just take a second and get into a few different stories.
There are stories about the polling right now that make it look as though Trump's winning.
I think Trump has successfully managed to secure enough support democratically, but I also think that the machine is the machine.
And I think Vivek Ramaswamy put it the best.
For those who are, like, talking about how—who keep, you know, claiming that we need to protect our democracy, that Trump's a threat to our democracy, what they really should be saying is that they want to protect the bureaucracy and that Trump's a threat to the bureaucracy, because that's what it is.
Trump is a wrecking ball coming into Washington, D.C. to knock down the establishment and rebuild it with an America-first— Leader who is looking to protect the American people and uphold the Constitution.
I think that's the simplest way it could be put for anybody who's kind of not been paying attention.
If you have been paying attention, that's the battle we're in right now.
I look at Kamala and The fake news.
And that's what really gets me.
You know, we all know who Kamala is, but the way that the fake news lies about her and went from this woman who was, like, pretty much the least impressive vice president of all time, who got on the ticket as a diversity hire because, you know, Joe Biden said he's, you know, going to hire black women or something, and She gets on without any real support to the ticket in the first place.
She was polling, what, below 1% before in the 2020 election.
Then she becomes vice president and nobody pays attention to her for three years.
Then in the 25th hour, they decide to kick Joe off the ballot because he's got dementia and he couldn't fight his way out of a paper bag with regards to Trump.
Then they install Kamala without a primary.
I mean, think of where we are and how we got here, right?
They install Kamala out of primary, and then the media comes out and spends the next, you know, six months, five or six months telling us about how she's the most historic figure of all time, that she's going to, you know, be the most groundbreaking and brave person.
Heroic figure of our generation?
I mean, God help us, and I mean this in the most sincere way, if Kamala becomes president.
God needs to help us regardless of whatever.
The outcome is, but I truly think that we'll be in a very disastrous position as a nation.
And like I said before, here are my scenarios.
I'll lay them out for you.
And I know this is going to be a bit of a black pill, but I think it's worth noting.
We're going to be in trouble with whatever outcome there is.
Because here's where we stand with 16 hours and change to go before the election kicks off here in 2024.
We never had an October surprise, which was interesting.
We never had a November surprise, which was interesting.
Maybe there was no need for it.
Maybe it got suppressed.
Maybe it didn't gain the traction it needed.
For whatever reason, those things never happened.
There were more salacious and false stories that were circulated about Trump that never really amounted to anything.
The media took things out of context, tried to blow him up, but they didn't really go anywhere.
They tried calling him Hitler.
They tried saying he wanted to, you know, murder his enemies.
They say they've tried everything, basically.
And none of it has really stuck all that well.
Because people see through the media in their lives.
But here are scenarios that we're facing.
In the unlikely and unfortunate event that Kamala Harris somehow is able to win, cheating or not, I think that We're going to be in a pretty tough spot.
There will be an open border that will allow in probably another 10 to 20 million illegals.
There'll be further escalation in the wars in Israel and Ukraine.
There'll be an economic disaster, the likes of which our country's never seen.
That will be brought on by the never-ending spending and inflation that has crippled our economy and brought most people's real wages to a halt and stagnated them while inflating the cost of everything and making our day-to-day lives that much more difficult.
There's going to be mass legalization or amnesty for illegals, which will then in turn, in the key swing states where these illegals live and have been brought to, will lead to a one-party state here in the country, very similar to what we see in California.
And most likely we will find ourselves I would say in a very dark place, like economically, foreign policy, etc., it'll all be pretty bad.
That's the scenario where she wins, whether she wins rightfully or it's fraud or whatever.
So that's a pretty dark scenario.
I mean, you ask, can I find the silver lining?
I don't know.
The silver lining would be, I guess, we would feel better.
All the woke people would feel better because we've, you know, virtue signaled that we, you know, have elected a woman president, which is kind of funny because she's not really been elected.
She's been installed.
So kind of like an updated software from Joe Biden.
Um, Now, the scenario where Trump wins is interesting because it has equal amount of tumultuous times ahead as well, where Trump wins, then over the next two months up to the inauguration certification,
the left will launch a campaign stating that even though Trump won, he is in fact ineligible via Section 3 of the 14th Amendment to become president because it states that a felon cannot become or cannot hold office, but it's very vague and it's going to be interpreted by the Supreme Court to say that it doesn't apply to the President of the United States.
But that will be used as a pretext to launch Antifa BLM again.
The paramilitary force will take over the streets.
The protests will begin.
The demonstrations will begin.
The delusional fever dreams of the left will be projected onto us every day via mass media.
And we'll find ourselves in a very strange predicament as that continues to heat up.
Trump will most likely end up being certified on January 6th.
Probably they'll stage some sort of, you know, January 6th type event similar with leftists instead this time, which ultimately I think will culminate with Trump being inaugurated.
But then we'll begin the real circus because this is when they will switch from the 14th Amendment Section 3 argument of Trump can't be president because he's a felon To Trump's a felon, we need special investigations congressionally to investigate him and his criminal background.
They'll say he's a Russian asset.
They'll say he's been blackmailed.
They'll say he's been compromised.
They'll say a lot of things in that vein to try to convince you and I that He is an illegitimate president.
They'll do everything in their power to make sure he has a lame duck presidency.
That's why the race for House is very important because the House, as we all know, the House of Representatives is in charge of starting investigations and they have the control over, you know, appointing the people who run the committees and they would be in charge of impeachment and all that other stuff.
So, That race is equally as important as the presidential race.
And it looks like the Senate is pretty safely locked to stay a Republican majority, at least by one, perhaps two or three, given some very close races.
I think West Virginia's in play.
But that's a scenario that we're going to face.
So either way, we're facing some dark stuff.
So when we come back...
We're going to be joined by a special guest, Pastor Dean Miller, to walk us through today and how we should prepare as Christians.
Stay tuned.

you think it's tough We'll try that in a small town See how far you make it down the road Welcome back to Just Form Talk Radio.
I'm your host, Craig James, and we're going to be joined by a special guest here in just a second.
But before we do, I want to thank you guys for tuning in, and I want to make sure you know this is our day of fasting, prayer, and repentance, which is why we're going to have a few very special guests here today to walk us through a lot of, you know, what that means as far as getting ourselves ready for the next 24 hours, but really the next, you know, foreseeable future, really.
the foreseeable future, given that we don't know what's going to happen, but we have to give it to God and let him take control.
And for that, I'm very thankful that we are joined by a good friend of ours who is the pastor of Front Range Baptist Church here in Fort Collins, Colorado.
And he's a friend who I'm very thankful to say is my pastor.
And I wanted to bring him on here today to talk about that specifically and just the election in general and what we can do to prepare as Christians So without further ado, let me welcome to the show our friend, Pastor Dean Miller.
Pastor, are you there?
Good to be with you, Craig.
Good morning.
Good morning.
You know, it's really a pleasure to have you on the show here today.
Our audience is probably familiar with you, given that we've been playing your sermons for the last several months on Mondays.
So it's actually an honor to actually have you here live, because usually we're just listening to your sermon.
But today is a very important day because we are walking into this election coming up tomorrow tomorrow.
And, you know, I had already decided a while back and been telling our audience about this day of fasting, prayer, and repentance because I wanted to go back to God before we go into what's to come, which is going to be a very crazy time tomorrow.
But I guess we'll just start there, Pastor.
What would you say we as Christians need to do to prepare ourselves, not just for tomorrow, I mean, specifically for the election, but for what's to come after that?
Because we just went through these two examples of either way, if either candidate wins, there's going to be some tough times ahead for this nation.
What can we do to prepare?
Well, I think, you know, the fact that we're having a call today, In many different venues today for a National Day of Fasting and Praying, I was on a Zoom call last week with hundreds of people across the country, many pastors and political leaders and even some attorneys that are in the Trump campaign.
We're on that call, and it was a designated call for prayer and fasting, and I think one of the great things that's coming from where we are as a nation right now is that God's people are getting our focus back to where it has needed to be for a long time, and that is we're seeking God and His face and His guidance.
Unfortunately, it takes times like this for some to wake up to the reality that we have needed God this whole time.
Daniel found himself in that position when the nation of Israel had been taken into captivity.
And in Daniel 9, Daniel really prayed the prayer of a patriot.
And I would encourage all of your listeners today to go read that passage of Scripture, how Daniel prayed.
Because he was preparing himself for whatever was to come.
And, you know, in Daniel's future, he was going to face the lion's den.
And he didn't know that, but he had some huge tests coming with his faith.
And I think that's where we are as a nation.
So in the days to come, I think those of us who have a conservative viewpoint, we're voting on On specific policies that are biblical policies, moral policies, these are not political things.
But we believe in the sanctity of life.
We believe in law and order.
We believe in justice and judgment and good understanding of truth in our society.
One of the dangers, Craig, that I think we face is that if, quote unquote, our side were to win, I think we relax and we put our faith in that they're going to carry the ball.
And I think we've learned now in the last several election cycles, the last, you know, in this century, from the 2000 election, I think we've learned that the hope of the nation is not in Washington.
The hope of the nation is in heaven, and it's lived out in the lives of godly people in our communities as salt and light.
I think we have to be prepared that no matter how this election goes, we have to be godly people, fearing the Lord, living out our faith in a very real way, because we're going to be tested in pretty extreme ways, I think.
I think you're 100% correct.
And, you know, that is where I've been trying to refocus my attention that, you know, no matter what happens in this election, we have to keep going to God regardless.
And that is something that I've, you know, trying to come to terms with.
Because, you know, I do a political talk show and, you know, I always focus on Christ.
It's the focus of what I do because I always encourage my audience, hey, you know, This is a fallen world and things are never going to go the way you want.
And even if they do, you're always going to need God, you know, in your heart and through our relationship with him through Jesus.
That's how we have peace and solace and comfort and hope.
But yeah, that's where I'm trying to refocus is exactly on what you said, Pastor.
So as we go into this election, talk a little bit about what you've talked about before.
You did a great sermon a couple weeks ago that we played here about salt and light and what that means for us as we make a decision on who to vote for.
Can you walk us through that a little bit?
Sure.
I think many Christians who are sincere believers find the political process that we're in today.
It's very messy.
It's very dirty.
But it's always been that way.
I mean, if you study American history and you go all the way back to even some of the people that we claim, you know, man, these are our founding fathers and we revere them, they had some messiness in their lives as well, because there's never been a perfect candidate.
And so I encouraged our church a few weeks ago that we have to cut through all of that Fat.
And we have to look at the policies that are on the table and not the personalities.
And because of that, I'll just go through very quickly.
As believers, as salt and light, salt has a preservative nature to it.
And it also has an antiseptic.
It pushes back on Corruption.
And so that's our role as believers.
We are here to resist evil.
We are here to be an antiseptic to the evil and the debauchery.
And if anybody's paying attention, America for a long time has been a disobedient nation.
But we have devolved into a debauched nation.
I mean, the things that are being paraded now and exploited as Normal is absolute depravity.
And so we as Christians, we are to be salt and light.
And so the way we vote through this is we have to, I think, first and foremost, we have to see what's on the ballot here.
And that comes down to justice.
When truth goes out the window, justice goes out the window.
And if anybody was paying attention in Trump's first term, God very graciously allowed him to select three Supreme Court justices.
And those justices were people who understood our Constitution and they understood the rule of law.
And because of that, Roe v.
Wade was overturned.
And I think on the other side, with Kamala Harris and the Democratic machine, they're going to try to pack the courts, and they're going to try to pervert justice.
And when justice and judgment are falling in the street, there is no equity.
There is no truth.
All right.
Let's take a second.
We're hitting a commercial.
I want to pick back up right there.
Everybody stay tuned.
We're coming back after the break.

Welcome back to Just Informed Talk Radio.
I'm your host, Craig James.
We're joined right now by our friend, Pastor Dean Miller from Front Range Baptist Church here in Fort Collins, Colorado.
And he was talking about the implications of Trump's first term in 2016.
What we were talking about right before we hit the break were the judges and the justices in the Supreme Court.
And you went through a very interesting sermon that we're kind of referencing called Salt and Light, where you talked about a lot of these implications for what it would look like if one side were to get into power versus the other, and how we as Christians need to get more involved.
And I really appreciate that.
I want to keep going on that.
But also, I would add the question that I've heard a lot.
We have part of our audience, and a very small part, but there are those out there who have told me and called in that they've said, look, you know, I don't want to be a part of this.
I'm not going to vote because I—they basically say something to the effect of, I'm not voting because I think both candidates are— Reprehensible, correct?
And I hear this argument sometimes, and my encouragement to them has been, look, it's similar to what you said in your sermon, you know, we have to be politically active if we want to affect the change that we're told we're supposed to affect here in this world through Scripture.
And we're not going to do that by sitting and putting our hands under, you know, our backside and sitting on our hands, as it were.
And I think part of your sermon spoke directly to that, that even if you have these qualms with Trump personally, the values and the principles that he's trying to push, even though I don't agree with him on everything, that they are better than the alternative and that that's what we should strive toward.
We can't expect perfection from our candidates as much as we can't expect perfection from ourselves.
So maybe you can speak to that a little bit along with what you were going through with the judges and justices.
Well, I certainly understand people's qualms with a vote for a candidate that has moral baggage and the personalities that rub people the wrong way.
Trump can be very crass.
He can be very crude.
He's got a very...
Trump is such a unique personality, and he's very...
He's just very open and raw.
And as a Christian, we're repulsed by pride and arrogancy and self-promotion and crudeness and those kind of things and tearing down other people.
And unfortunately, that's the nature of our political state.
But Christians cannot sit back And say, because of the ugliness of that person, I'm not going to be involved in the process.
We have to all understand that government comes from God, and the powers that be are ordained of God.
God's going to deal with Trump individually.
God's going to deal with these leaders, just like He did with Nebuchadnezzar.
God knew how to humble Nebuchadnezzar, but God used Nebuchadnezzar To bring his nation, Israel, back to repentance in God.
So God uses this.
God uses these people, flawed people, just like God saved me.
I'm not saved because I was a good person.
I was saved because I was a sinner, and God sought me.
And so I think Christians have to look beyond the nastiness of the person, and they have to see the importance of the policies that And our role as believers in promoting the things that strengthen a nation.
Sin is a reproach to any people, but righteousness exalts a nation.
You cannot vote for the policy of butchering our children in the womb.
You cannot vote.
As a Christian, and sit idly by while people are actively saying we're going to mutilate our children in the name of sexual progress.
These are things that believers need to be on the front lines of protecting life, protecting liberty, and standing up for the morality that the Bible clearly mandates that.
And so we just can't afford to sit on the sideline.
Yeah, and that's kind of been my message to the audience as well, for those who have taken that position and stance.
Really, like I said before, the expectation of perfection from anyone, you know, aside from what we know, who we know is perfect, which is Jesus, is, I think, you know, sort of an exercise in futility for us as Christians, and it sometimes is what trips us up a lot of time in having these lofty expectations.
But Pastor, you know, with everything that our audience probably is going through, maybe quickly you can give everyone out there listening just a bit of hope that comes from the Scripture, because you cited a number of different examples.
You cited Nebuchadnezzar there.
You cited David before in your sermons, and he was, you know, an adulterer who did these things.
But God can use these imperfect leaders to do great things, right?
Oh, 100%.
God has always used imperfect leaders.
Moses was raised in Pharaoh's home.
He was indoctrinated in all of the education of the Egyptians.
And, you know, I'm sure in Moses' life there was a temptation when he began to realize that he was going to be the emancipator of his people Moses could have possibly said, you know, let me take the throne of Egypt, I'll have all of the pleasures and all of the power that comes with being Pharaoh, and then I'll just make a decree to let the people go.
But Moses, God dealt with Moses individually, and God took a man who was indoctrinated in the Egyptian ideas and worldview, and God turned him into one of the most powerful leaders That the world has ever seen.
And God did that with Nebuchadnezzar.
God raised up Cyrus, who was the king of Persia, to make a decree to let his people go back and actually even help them pay for the rebuilding of their temple.
God has used leaders and perfect leaders throughout the founding of our country.
You know, George Washington, I love George Washington.
These are my heroes, these founding fathers.
John Adams, who said our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people, he was one of the most anti-free speech presidents in our nation.
And if you know our history, John Adams had to be challenged, and the Supreme Court had to strike down some things that he did.
These were imperfect people, but God is firmly in control.
And this is what I want to say to all of your listeners today.
Our hope is not in Washington and in those who have power in this world.
All the powers that be are ordained of God.
And God is sovereign.
He rules in the affairs of men.
And hope thou in the Lord.
Let God renew your strength and encourage you to just in your day-to-day life, in your home, in your family, in your sphere of influence, in your community, We're good to go.
We know that one day Jesus is coming back.
He will not be voted on.
He will not be impeached.
He's not coming to take sides.
He's coming to take over.
And He's going to restore this world to what He intended it to be.
And that's where our hope is.
Amen.
Oh, gosh.
It looks like I'm getting my own...
We're getting our own private sermon.
I love it.
But here's the thing.
I want to take a second, because we got...
We have a few minutes before we're going to wrap it.
Could you walk us through, because, you know, this is about fasting and prayer and repentance.
So let's take a second and talk about each one of those things and give us an idea, Pastor, from your understanding, the importance of each one in particular, fasting, prayer, and repentance.
Sure.
Well, let's talk about fasting first, because I think it's a lost...
Doctrine in many of our American churches.
Fasting is not, you know, it's not something that we should be doing for egotism or exhibitionism, other people seeing us fast and for self.
In fact, that's the opposite of what fasting does.
Fasting is something that subdues self.
A lot of times when we pray, we're trying to get our will done in heaven.
And the purpose of prayer is to get God's will done in earth.
And so this is one of the roles of fasting is fasting begins to reveal in us just how under self-control we are.
Our desires, our appetites, they control us.
And fasting subdues us and helps us to overcome pride, overcome our own fleshliness.
And then It really helps us to seek God.
You know, the Bible says in Jeremiah 29, God said, you shall find me when you search for me with all your heart.
And fasting is at the heart of that because it takes self off the table and really gets our attention focused on seeking God.
And God uses fasting.
Fasting gives strength to our prayers.
God uses fasting in the life of a believer.
To hear the sincerity of their heart and the sincerity of their prayer.
It gives strength to our prayers.
And so I would encourage, you know, we have to avoid extremism and legalism and fasting.
Fasting is just simply this.
It's saying, I am going to put my desires aside.
I'm going to set my heart on God.
My desire is Him.
I'm hungering and thirsting after Him.
And every time my stomach growls for food, it's a reminder that I need God.
More than I need a trip to the refrigerator, I need God.
And I'm going into the throne room of God and I'm seeking His face.
It's a great prayer reminder.
And so I would encourage people to set some time of fasting.
It gives strength to our prayers.
And then prayer really is just going boldly into the throne room of God and laying down our complaints, being honest with God, honestly seeking Him, To do His will.
Our Father, which art in heaven, hallowed be thy will be done.
We want God's will in all of this, in our own personal lives, in the life of our nation.
And really pray.
Take our petitions and be honest with God.
And then, repentance.
Repentance is simply, it's a turning from and a turning to.
And I think when one of the most quoted verses is, 2 Chronicles 7.14, if my people which are called by my name will humble themselves, that's fasting, and pray and turn from their wicked ways.
We often quote that, but we fail to really live that.
Each of us have our personal sins.
Daniel in Daniel chapter 9 confessed the sins of his nation, but he confessed his own sins.
And I have to understand that I have sinned.
And there are things in my life that need to be repented of and strongholds in my life that need to be broken and that I need to be freed from so that God has full liberty to work through my life, that there's no hindrance in me being salt in life.
Sin in my life is a bushel over my lamp.
It is taking away the saltiness of my life.
And so repentance is just dealing with personal sins And then we need to repent of our national sins.
We need to pray for our nation.
We're Americans, but we bear the burden of the sins of abortion, the sins of our sexual immorality, the sins of the mutilation of our children, and the debauchery of this country.
We share in that.
And so, when we really seek the face of God, we begin to turn from our own wicked ways.
We pray that God would deliver our nation from its wicked ways.
And if Christians would really set ourselves to that, God will hear from heaven, and He will heal our land.
Amen.
All right, so we're going to wrap it up, but I would ask if you would be so kind as to close us out with some prayer.
Absolutely, Craig.
Thank you so much for the time today.
Let's pray together.
Father, we are seeking your face today.
And I pray that through fasting and through fervent prayer, Elijah faced a debauched nation.
And Lord, he was a man just like we are.
But he prayed, and the effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man availed.
It won the day.
And you answered that prayer, and you delivered your people.
And so we pray today with fervency.
We pray with With expectancy, Lord, we pray with hope.
Our hope is in you.
It's not in Donald Trump.
It's not in Washington.
Our hope is in you.
And Lord, you use imperfect people.
You have to use flawed people.
And so, God, we pray that you would be merciful to us as a nation.
And God, do not give us what we deserve.
Give us what would turn our nation back to you.
So, Father, we beseech you.
We pray for this.
We pray that your people would live pure lives, moral lives, as salt and light.
God, use us in our communities to promote righteousness, to preach the gospel, to help others see the hope that we have in the person of Jesus Christ.
May they see you in us.
And, Father, may we be fervent To repent of our sins and seek your face.
God, we thank you for what you've done in this nation.
This has been a God-blessed nation.
And I pray, Lord, that we would continue to be, that we would be a city on a hill that would send the light of hope and the gospel throughout the world.
And we pray this in the name above all names.
In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
Amen.
Thank you so much, Pastor.
It was such a blessing having you on.

Thank you.
God bless.
Alright folks, that was Pastor Dean Miller.
Let's get back in just a second.
Whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.
That's who God is.
His love for us is boundless.
It is incomparable and incomprehensible.
And it is demonstrated in the sacrifice on the cross by His Son for our sins.
And Paul tells us in Romans 8, verses 38 and 39, nothing can separate us from that love.
For I am sure, Paul says, that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Okay, so it's hour two of the Just to Form Talk radio show.
We just had an amazing guest on, our good friend Pastor Dean Miller from Front Range Baptist Church.
And that was an amazing little conversation we were able to have because today is our day of fasting, prayer, and repentance.
And now I want to bring on the show a good friend of mine.
You guys know him.
Our friend from God's Feeding Station, Mr.
Henry Loke.
Henry, are you there?
Hi, I'm Greg.
Good morning.
Thanks for having me.
That's a tough follow, having to follow Pastor Miller there.
No, you're going to do great.
And this is why I planned it this way, because the honest-to-God truth is I am so thankful to have people like you and Pastor Miller in my life, because you guys, both of you, keep encouraging me to go back to Christ.
And that's what I think I want to share with the audience, which is why I'm bringing you on.
But in all reality, Henry, this day of fasting, prayer, and repentance was something that you brought to me a while ago, and I just knew as soon as you said it, I knew that this is something I wanted to do ahead of the election so that we prepare ourselves, so that in any outcome, in any scenario, that we understand that there are bigger implications to our faith than the outcome of an election, that we have to be focused on that, right?
Yeah, when you look at the Bible, every time Israel wanders away from God, you know, in the Old Testament and stuff, or Jesus confronts sin, it's always a call to return to God.
It's always a call to repent and turn back.
And as Pastor Miller said, you know, we have turned away and we've come.
We become a nation that has just embraced all kind of evil things and things that go against the Word of God.
And so, yeah, we need to turn back to Him.
And as you guys talked about, it is not about any politician or anybody in Washington that's going to fix, quote-unquote, this nation.
The only thing that's going to get us back on track is turning back to God.
And so I just followed the lead of what God had in his word, and he put it on my heart.
And I thought, you know, why not do what's been a proven remedy for the ails of nations that have come before, and that's turning back to God.
Yeah, I mean, there were moments throughout Scripture where it talks directly about the power of fasting and repentance, because in so many ways, when you see a nation like ours, right, that, you know, was once great, but now has fallen a bit,
and it has to take—it takes our— Humbling ourselves before the Lord, going to Him and calling on Him to forgive us, but then also calling on Him to see that we are sincere in our desire.
And one of the things I really appreciated that Pastor Miller said is that we don't do this sort of thing to be seen, right?
Because it talks in Scripture about that too.
We're doing it for other reasons.
You want to talk about that?
Yeah, well, yeah, Jesus talks about, he talks about the Pharisees who do that, and they stand on the corners, and they, you know, or he warns about, you know, having a downcast countenance when you're doing things like that in order to draw attention to yourself, and that's not why we do them.
We do them, and I have to tell you, I've, over the last 48, 24 to 48 hours, the repentance part of this has really I'm not going to say the prayers and the fasting fall on deaf ears,
because God always hears and is always there.
But there has to be a change of heart, because then, as you just said, then we might as well just be doing it for show.
If our hearts are not Have not been convicted of our sin.
If we're not willing to change and turn from our sin, then we can pray and we can fast, but then we're just going to go back to doing things the way we've always done them.
And you can't do that.
We have to repentance.
I linked a, for today's broadcast, on the broadcast channel today, I linked a powerful sermon by Dr.
Martin Lloyd-Jones on repentance.
And his whole thing is, you have to think again.
You've thought about things in a certain way for a long time, and they've been wrong.
We've been going by the ways of the world.
We've been accepting the things that have been...
Proposed to us by the world and the evil of the world, and we've been wrong.
And his point is you have to think again.
You have to reconsider the Word, and you have to reconsider the Gospel, and you have to reconsider Christ, and you have to really think about these things as God puts them forth in His Word and come to a true understanding of what He's saying there, and then apply that to our lives.
And without that, again, we can pray and we can fast, but if we're not willing to change, then we might as well be standing on the street corner and doing these things for people to notice us, because without change, what does it matter?
You see what I'm saying?
I don't want to discount the prayer and the fasting side.
But there's got to be a change of heart.
And so that whole thing of not doing these things to bring attention on ourselves, we're not.
We're doing this because we love our families and we love our kids and we want what's best for this country and we want what's best for the people around us.
And we don't want to fall into a situation where Judgment comes because we know God will bring that if He has to.
We've seen Him do it over the centuries.
And to a nation He made a covenant with, and to a people He loved dearly that He called His own.
So we don't want to get to that point.
We want what's best.
And we know as Christians, because we've seen it play out in our lives and in the lives of others and throughout history, we know that what God has...
We're not doing this to wave the flag of Henry or Craig or Trump or anybody.
We're doing this because We want God's will for our lives and for this country because we know that's what's best.
And then when He brings that, we give Him all honor and glory, and we start this positive cycle of giving Him the glory and worshiping Him and submitting to Him.
Bestowing blessings upon us.
And then us giving Him the thanks and the glory for that.
And Him bestowing more blessings.
It becomes this positive relationship that just grows and grows and grows into something, biblically speaking.
Amen.
Alright, so we're taking a break.
When we come back, we're going to keep going on this because I want to comment on what you were just saying because I think it's really important.
Everybody stay tuned.
tune.
We're coming back after the break.

We'll be right back.
Welcome back to Just Form Talk Radio.
I'm your host, Craig James.
We're here with our good friend from God's feeding station, Henry Loke.
And Henry, you know, you were talking about the importance of repentance and how it had to come before all the other things.
And I want to just, you know, kind of go in compliment to what you said.
and agree with you a thousand percent that, you know, it's easy for us to believe that we can just undo all of the wrongs by praying and fasting without repenting.
But repenting is going to be the critical element in a lot of ways, primarily for the number of in the ways that you described earlier.
But also because, I mean, on a personal level, it's about taking accountability.
Right.
And we have to take accountability for ourselves in what's happening.
Right.
Yeah, exactly.
Yeah, I mean, because the cross was personal.
It was personal to God, and it's personal to us.
Jesus went to the cross for you personally.
He went to the cross for me personally.
He went to the cross for everybody who's listening.
And it's personal.
And so we have to take responsibility for what we do.
Because we are going to be held responsible.
We're going to have to stand in front of the judgment seat at some point and answer for what we've done and what we've said.
But when it comes to confessing and repenting and changing, only we can do that.
And so the real personal part of that is we have to invite God in and ask Him, as David did in Psalm 51, To change our hearts, right?
Creating me a clean heart, O God, and a right spirit, right?
God is the one who affects the change, but He's not going to do it if we don't invite Him in.
And if we're not convicted of our sin, we're never going to invite Him in.
We're not going to see the need for a Savior if we don't come to terms and come to grips and look ourselves in the mirror and see...
As Martin Lloyd-Jones talks about, you know, what wretched...
And Paul talked about what wretched men and women we are and our sin.
But the good news, when we take that personally and we confess, we have Christ then.
And we have...
You know, who was the substitution for us and the penalty for that sin?
He took that sin upon Himself.
We have that substitute.
We have the Son of God who went to His death for us, for our sins, so that all we had to do was believe in Him and be cleansed.
But, as you said, we gotta take responsibility for ourselves and for our stuff.
Absolutely.
And, you know, that's the beginning.
And then we go into prayer and fasting.
And, you know, we kind of start off talking about how, you know, with the fasting, we're not doing it to be seen.
And this is something that, you know, when you brought this idea to me, my first thought was, on a personal level, I just thought, I need to do this for myself so that I can...
I'm not only challenged myself in that way that fasting does.
It challenges you in a way to deprive yourself of something, to focus yourself more on that which matters, which is your spiritual, your faith, your connection to God.
I was so thankful to be able to do it, but for all of our audience out there listening who are going to be joining with us in this day of fasting and prayer and repentance, I just want to let them know and tell them that, again, to reiterate, we're not doing this so that we can go to our friends and family and say, look at me, I'm so virtuous, I'm fasting, and that's going to save the election.
I think it more has to be an opinion or an attitude of, you know, you're going to do this for yourself, to challenge yourself, to help put yourself in a position to need God even more than you do, because, you know, when you're depriving yourself of something, what do you need?
You need to have sustenance, and that sustenance can come from the Lord.
I mean, how many examples do we have, Henry, of people who fasted for...
extreme amounts of time scripture you know jesus fasted for 40 days right and and and in in that way you know we're fulfilling what the scripture says for us to do and be is more like christ but we're not you know obviously not at that level but we're doing what we're kind of instructed to do so i would encourage everybody out there listening if you're going to participate in this fast Find,
as Jesus said, you know, find that quiet, dark, you know, room alone by yourself, fast, pray, call on His name, repent for yourself on behalf of your family, your nation, and we have to humbly submit and ask God for this, right?
Yes.
Yeah, we do.
The strength to do things like this, and to do anything, comes from God.
But he commands us to do these things.
In Joel 2, he says, you know, return to me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.
And then, to your point, you know, Jesus said in Matthew 6, when you fast, do not look gloomy like the hypocrites, for they disfigure their faces, that their fasting may be seen by others.
Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward, but when you fast, anoint your head, wash your face, that your fasting may not be seen by others, but by your Father who is in secret.
And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.
The other thing with this is, you brought up Jesus fasting 40 days and 40 nights in the desert.
And the cool thing about, one of the cool things I think about Jesus is, He never asks us to do anything that He hasn't done Himself.
He doesn't ask us to walk any path that He Himself hasn't already walked.
And so when we undertake things like what we're doing today, He will walk with us, and He will bear us up, and He will intercede for us to God, for strength, to do what we need to do, again, if our hearts are in the right place.
If we come at this humbly, And for the reason that God's will be done in this whole thing tomorrow and going forward, let's not forget.
This, you know, not the prayer and the fasting side of it, but the prayer and the submission and the repentance, that goes on.
We continue to pray for things tomorrow, and we continue to pray after that for this nation, and we cover this nation in prayer, so it doesn't just stop after today.
But we will be given the strength to undertake these things, By our Savior who's done them Himself.
And so He will not abandon us in our efforts when we do these things so that God's will would be done in our lives as they were in Christ's.
Amen.
I mean, that's something I'm trying to work on in my life, and maybe some of our listeners are doing the same, where we're trying to rationalize and understand better exactly what you just said, is that Jesus has walked the walk as far as doing what He calls on us to do, and we have to come to terms with the fact that Or at least I do.
I don't know.
Perhaps some of our listeners as well.
That, you know, these things that are not easy are very much worth it.
The simplest thing can be the hardest for some.
So that is where I feel like I find myself at times as a Christian trying to struggle with the things that are in and of this world.
I'm always struggling with the concept that, you know...
You have to be willing to give up a bit of your comfort and your peace, right, in order to get things done that the Lord wants us to do.
And it goes to what Pastor Miller was saying when we had him on earlier, you know, As far as just voting goes, we're not voting for a perfect leader.
We may lose a little bit of our peace of mind if we convince ourselves that we're going to wait and we're only going to get politically active when it's this person or that person because I agree with them 100% of the time.
And then in reality, you're going to fall short of what you're called to do, which is to You know, get out there and make certain sacrifices and do things you may not be as comfortable with.
Voting, fasting, praying, repenting.
Some people have the sin of pride and they can't repent or they don't want to repent.
They refuse to repent because they think that they don't have anything wrong with them.
They didn't do anything.
Well, I didn't do anything, so why should I repent?
It's that kind of attitude that I'm trying to get rid of in myself, you know?
Yeah.
The thing I struggle most with is the suffering side going into the fire, right?
The James 1, count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness, and let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.
God will put us in the fire to remove the dross.
And we are told that we will suffer as Christ suffered.
We should expect to.
And that's where I struggle.
I like being comfortable.
I like when things are going smoothly.
But as a pastor of mine years ago said, when things are going smoothly, nothing's getting done.
It's when you're dealing with all kind of things in your life that God is working things in you To turn to Him, to come closer to Him, to submit more to Him, and to follow His direction in the Word and such, and allow the Spirit to guide you.
But that's the thing that I struggle with.
But we all have our things that we deal with.
The question is, are we willing?
It always comes back to that.
Because God's always willing to let us go our own way.
You know, another pastor of mine used to say he had this picture in his mind of God holding on to the back of his shirt and him trying to run a different direction and God finally letting go and saying, okay, if you want to go that way, you can go that way.
That's your choice.
But I'll be here when you go and you realize that's not my way.
And so, you know, it's the story of the prodigal.
You know, we always...
We want to do things.
We have our comforts.
We have the things that we want to do.
It's like you said, you know, we either don't think we need repentance, we don't realize we need repentance, or we don't want to change.
We're comfortable where we are.
And we don't want to be put in the fire to have the things of the flesh burnt off.
But if we want to grow closer to God, sometimes that's what it takes.
And Again, what are we willing to do?
You know, when it comes to having God's will in our lives, He may ask us to do things that in our own worldly minds we don't want to do.
You know, are we willing to go into the fire?
Are we willing to vote for someone who God wants in power in order to bring a nation along, but it's not somebody we want?
You know, things like that are questions we have to ask all the time.
And if we want God's will, we have to be willing to accept His way of thinking and His decisions and His plan for our lives rather than our own.
But like I said, you know, when it comes where He wants to take me out of my comfort zone, I sometimes will go, but I'll go kicking and screaming, and I don't always go.
And those are the things I have to repent of, and I have to be willing to submit to.
Yeah, I know.
That's a great point.
And I know for me, and maybe some of the listeners out there, I've felt very much out of my comfort zone over the last four years with this Biden administration and what I've seen happen to our country in so many different ways.
There have been things that really have bothered me and have caused me to find great I would say righteous indignation, I guess, against.
And in that, though, in that I found in myself a better, a more powerful level of patience, a more powerful level of strength that I didn't even know I had within me, you know?
Right.
We have to be able to go through those difficult times trusting that that's the kind of thing God may have in store that you don't realize.
That your suffering can lead to things that will make you stronger and better and find things within you that you may not know even exist yet.
So let's take a break.
I'm going to keep this conversation going, and we're going to encourage you guys, and we're going to keep talking about it, and then we'll do some praying to wrap it up.
But everybody stay tuned.

It's really a great tool, and we're thankful to him for joining us here today.
Go check it out.
But, Henry, you know, I want to get back to the conversation we're at.
We're talking about today being this day of prayer, fasting, and repentance.
And I can tell you right now, I'm not going to lie, I'm already starting to feel the hunger pains because I'm usually up so darn early every morning that I tend to eat breakfast at like 5 a.m.
And so I'm already strong.
I haven't had anything since dinner last night, so I'm going in the fast, full speed.
Yeah.
But it's a good thing.
And again, we're not doing this so that people see us.
We're doing this because it's going to bring us closer to God.
Because I know today, like, when I go home, I'm going to find a quiet room after the show here, and I'm just going to really go into prayer and start talking to God.
And I'm going to try to spend as much time today as I can doing that and calling on Him to do what He can for this nation and Yep.
And let each one of those hunger pains that hit you be a reminder of how much we need God and how powerful He is and what He can do to feed us spiritually.
That's my, and speaking of feeding us spiritually, right?
God's feeding station.
It kind of goes right hand in glove with what we're doing here, right?
Yeah, well, I hope so.
I mean, our goal is to give you as much Scripture and the Word as we can, and to speak God's truth.
My biggest fear is always saying something that's wrong, because we know that teaching the wrong thing sometimes can have...
We have devastating effects and we don't want to do that but that's why we stay strictly in the Bible for the most part.
We don't do a lot of things outside of that because we have to feed on the Word.
It is the lifeblood of our faith.
And it is a truth that will never change.
I often talk about this, how the truth of the world constantly changes.
It shifts, and what's right today is wrong tomorrow, and what's wrong today is right tomorrow.
But the truth of God doesn't change, and so we try to anchor everything that we do in the Word of God, because that is...
That is what matters.
That's the benchmark.
That's the bar.
And that's what we're all going to be judged by.
And so that's what we preach and teach and use a lot of people who are way smarter than I am to help us understand what the Word is saying.
But we want to just give you the truth and make it...
Make it and do it in a way that we all can understand.
Because some of it can be confusing.
You know, I was in Old Testament.
I avoided the Old Testament for a long time because it didn't make a lot of sense to me.
I love it now because you spend time in it and you see how it all points to Christ.
How it all is the plan of salvation pointing to His coming.
And I thoroughly love it.
We're going to do it next year for the whole year.
And so, yeah, that's what we do.
We try to feed you on the Word as best we can.
Yeah.
And I can appreciate what you said about...
You know, one of your biggest fears is not saying the right thing.
And I personally share that when I, you know, go on air and I have, you know, what I do, which is, I call it, I'm a Christian evangelist, so I'm not necessarily anything other than a guy who wants to encourage people to come to Christ.
And as I learn the scripture better, I try to share what I learned through scripture with others.
And I do...
I always try to and call on the Holy Spirit to come into me to give me the words to say because I can't necessarily say all the right things all the time and I'm gonna make mistakes obviously but I think one of the things that gives me peace in my heart Henry, and for anybody out there maybe who is thinking about, you know, they're a Christian and they're thinking about wanting to start sharing the scripture with others and maybe their fear is exactly that.
They're afraid that they're going to misstep or say the wrong thing or have some sort of, you know, they're not going to say it how they mean to say it or how God wants them to say it so they don't say it at all.
I would encourage you to take solace in knowing that, A, when you do go to speak, If you trust in God and you go to Him in humble sincerity beforehand and ask Him to give you the words, He'll put the words in your heart.
And if you trust that, then you're always going to be able to at least have that conversation and be, you know, Don't get into the mindset that some people do where they, I guess, what do they call that?
The analysis paralysis, where they always are contemplating and never doing.
We're called not to just be hearers of the Word, but to be doers as well.
And I want to encourage all of the listeners out there to remember that In this time of fasting, prayer, and repentance, perhaps you can take a moment to talk to God about giving you a voice that you may not have yet or maybe that you're trying to develop or maybe that you want to kind of amplify and get out there further because it's going to take all of us standing up and making our voices heard as Christians Not taking a back seat and
not, you know, standing out and saying, you know, somebody else will take care of it.
It's incumbent upon us to take care of it, right?
Right, Henry?
Yeah, exactly.
I mean, Jesus told the disciples, you know, when...
When they were going to be delivered over to the authorities, he tells them, don't be anxious how you are to speak or what you are to say.
Or in Matthew 10, for what you are to say will be given to you in that hour, for it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you.
And the other thing to remember is everybody gets nervous.
I mean, I've been on with you I don't know how many times now, and I still get nervous.
I get nervous before I start the show, I'm not going to lie, but I do it.
Yeah, you know, because we're just followers of Christ who are just trying to do what God has tasked us with.
What we have to remember is a little bit of that anxiousness is just natural, but the spirit of fear is not of God, right?
God is not about fear.
God is about love.
And God will, as Jesus said, God will give us his spirit and give us the words to say.
And I cannot tell you how many times, especially lately, conversations have come up between people I've met on the street walking the dogs or doing whatever, And they turn into conversations about God, or even about politics.
But it's obviously a conversation that God had opened the door for, and I had no idea it was coming.
And I get done with it.
And it's like, well, I didn't have that on my bingo card today.
Where did that come from?
I've had the same thing, Henry.
It's a God thing.
I've had the same thing.
And I just want to interject.
I apologize for interrupting.
But Jesus says so many times in the...
When I read through the main Gospels, right?
Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.
There are so many times where Jesus says this one phrase to his disciples.
He says, take courage.
And that is something I tell myself every day.
I say those words to myself, take courage, because it's going to take courage for us to go into this world and talk about these things.
Just like he was telling his disciples, like, look, you're going to be hated.
You're going to be spit on.
There are people who are not going to want you.
They're going to not allow you in, but you have to have courage to keep going.
And that's what we have to do as Christians.
So let's take a quick break.
We're going to come back.
We're going to keep this conversation going.
I'd like to do a little bit of prayer and then we're going to do our God's Grace is Greater segment and everything will fall into place.
Stay tuned.
We're coming back.

All right, Henry, we're back.
Let me just say this, and I hope our audience appreciates this as well.
I'm so thankful for you bringing this idea to me, and I'm so glad that we're doing it this day of fasting, prayer, and repentance.
And I want to encourage our audience out there listening to join with us today in doing this.
If you haven't already, you can at least now.
Start with us, and even if you're not able to fast, because I know some people have medical conditions, some people have, you know, diabetes or other things where they literally can't necessarily, for their own physical health, do a fast, necessarily.
But you can join with us in the praying and the repentance, because even just that, God will see what's in your heart, and that's the one thing I always...
Take with me every single day, Henry.
I take it with me, and I know that even if I mess up, even if I make a mistake, even if I don't say it exactly how I intend to, and especially when it comes to the Scripture, because I'm learning and I'm kind of stumbling through it as a Christian who's on my own journey as well, I know that God sees what's in my heart.
And I know that, like you said, what Jesus said to his disciples about, you know, trusting that the Holy Spirit will give you the words when you need it.
You also have to trust that the Lord sees right through you.
He sees where you come from as a person and what your intention is and what it lies within your heart.
And if you trust that that is good and that God sees that, then you got to give it to him and let him take you wherever he will, right?
You know, and I appreciate the props, but I have to give all glory and honor to God for this idea because He put it on my heart and I just kind of ran with it because I believe that He wants what's best.
For this country and for this nation.
And that's for us to repent.
And as you said, but He does see what's in our heart.
I mean, that's what we're going to be judged on.
And so He does see what's in our heart.
And He will guide us.
And He made all these promises in His Word.
About walking alongside us.
About helping us be steadfast.
About sending His Holy Spirit.
About doing all these things.
Jesus said, I've said these things to you that in me you may have peace.
In the world you will have tribulation.
But take heart.
I have overcome the world.
All these things are said.
And all these things are true.
And so, bank on that.
Call on God to fulfill His promises and walk boldly.
So when you do step out and you...
I mean, I've said this before, too.
If anybody would have told me 20 years ago that I would be doing an online ministry and that I would be, you know, doing radio things, I would have told you you were nuts!
Again, that was never in my plan.
But it's not about my plan.
It's about God's plan.
And so when we do these things, when you do these things and you step out in faith, as you said, God sees your heart and He will embolden you.
And yeah, we're not always going to get it right because we're not perfect.
If we were perfect, we wouldn't need a Savior.
But we're not perfect and we are going to misstep.
And when we do, we try to own it and we repent of that and we correct it and we move on.
But God sees our hearts.
And when you are called and some conversation comes up and you're called to have a conversation, share the gospel, just do the best you can.
Take a moment.
Ask God for guidance.
He'll provide it.
And I know He will because He said He would.
And I trust that.
And we all have to.
We all have to trust that.
And speaking of trust, I want to take a second here—we have about a minute left—and just talk about the election.
So the reason we're doing this day of prayer, fasting, and repentance is not only to call on God to help have an outcome that will make this nation better, and perhaps if He wills it the outcome that we desire— But let's have faith and trust in the Lord that even if the outcome is not what we desire, God is still with us.
He's not going to go away because of the result of an election.
And I want to encourage and remind everyone out there of that, right, Henry?
Yeah.
We do what we do today, and then tomorrow we cover that day in prayer.
We cover the election in prayer, right?
And then...
The next day, we cover our nation in prayer.
And the next day, and the next day, and the next day.
Because there's too much at stake.
And I'm not just talking politically, right?
I have a new grandson who's about just over a week old.
Congratulations.
Congratulations.
Thank you.
I'm feeling significantly older all of a sudden.
Once you get him, he'll give you that youth.
I know.
But it's that thing, I want what's best for him.
And I want him to grow up in a God-fearing nation.
And I want him to know Christ.
And I want him to know God intimately.
And I want him to walk with God.
And I want his life to be guided by God.
And I want him to live in a nation where he's free to do that.
And so it's not just about the politics.
There's so much more at stake.
And again, regardless of what God brings...
If God brings a Kamala Harris administration, then we have to trust that it is for his good purposes that he's allowing that to happen.
And we keep praying.
And we pray for everybody.
We pray for her.
We pray for everyone in Washington.
And we just continue to cover everything in prayer so that God's will will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Amen.
We're going to do that.
We're going to pray when we come back.
And remember, no matter what happens tomorrow, we're not giving up on God because He's not giving up on us.
So stay tuned.
We're coming back after the break.

That's who you are.
You brought me blessings out of a tragedy.
You turned my old song into a symphony.
And with your spirit living inside of me I'm a new creation I'm a new creation Oh Welcome back to Just Informed Talk Radio So it's our final segment.
Henry, you know we do our God's Graces of Greater at the end.
Again, encouraging you all to keep with the fast today, keep with the prayer, keep with the repentance.
You know it's funny, Henry, we landed in Psalm 146 today by chance, so I'm just going to read it real quick because it does speak directly to what is going to be happening tomorrow.
It says, Hallelujah, my soul, praise the Lord.
I will praise the Lord all my life.
I will sing to my God as long as I live.
Do not trust in nobles, in man who cannot save.
When his breath leaves him, he returns to the ground.
On that day, his plans die.
Happy is the one whose help is in the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the Lord his God, the maker of heaven and earth, the sea and everything in them.
He remains faithful forever, executing justice for the exploited and giving food to the hungry.
The Lord frees prisoners.
The Lord opens the eyes of the blind.
The Lord raises up those who are oppressed.
The Lord loves the righteous.
The Lord protects foreigners and helps fatherless and the widow, but he frustrates the way of the wicked.
The Lord reign forever.
Zion, your God reigns in all generations.
Hallelujah.
Amen.
I can't think of a better verse to kind of summarize what we have to have the attitude of going into tomorrow, right?
Yeah, exactly.
And whatever happens, as we've said a hundred times over the past hour, no matter what happens tomorrow, trust God.
Have faith.
Stay steadfast.
Give thanks to God.
Praise Him.
Always be thankful for what you have.
All the things that He provides on a daily basis.
And we just cover it in prayer.
Let's do that.
I'm sorry to interrupt, but Henry, I want you to close us out with a prayer.
Okay.
Father, we lift this up to you.
We know that you love us.
And...
As I've said, we can't even comprehend the love that you have for us.
You sent your son the pain and agony that must have caused your heart to watch him die on the cross, a humiliating death, but yet you did it because you knew it needed to be done so that we could be reconciled back to you in a right relationship.
And so we thank you for that.
And we know that if we know that we can trust you with our lives because you sent your son so that we would have everlasting life.
And so it's in you, Father, that we trust.
And so no matter what happens, what happens tomorrow, we will continue to trust and we will continue to give thanks and we will continue to praise and we will continue to give glory to you.
And we will be patient for, as Jesus said, he has overcome the world.
And so we know we can trust in you because you have proven yourself over and over and over again.
And for that, we are truly, truly thankful.
And we pray this in Jesus' name.
Amen.
Amen, brother.
Hey, I'll tell you what, dude.
It is always a pleasure having you on the show.
Tomorrow is going to be a big day.
But look, we've just taken the...
Sting out of anything that happens because we have God.
We have reason to celebrate tomorrow no matter what happens, and that's because we've been saved.
And if you believe that, I want you to share that with your friends, your family, people you meet on the street, anybody who will listen.
Make sure you remind them that no matter what happens tomorrow, that we have a victory to celebrate, and that is going to continue to be celebrated regardless of what happens.
Henry, thank you so much for joining us.
Remember, go to godsfeedingstation.org or download their app, God's Feeding Station, from whatever app store services your smartphone or device.
But, Henry, thank you for joining us.
Well, thank you.
I appreciate you having me on.
And like Craig said, folks, God is on the throne, and we have victory over death and sin.
So celebrate that.
Thank God for that.
And keep praying.
Keep praying.
Amen.
And if anybody out there doesn't have a relationship with Jesus, now's your time.
Open your heart, say a prayer, repent of your sin, call on His name, and watch what great things will do.
We'll be back tomorrow.
Same time, same place, God willing.
Until then, I'm your host, Craig James.
