	A lot of news stories to cover.
	We're going to try to break them all down.
	I have even some other important clips to give context to everything you're seeing unfold before our eyes.
	Now, there are stories all over the place.
	We're talking about chaos in the Middle East right now as Israel is launching its offensive in southern Lebanon, which is just looking like an all-out campaign of destruction.
	And we'll talk a little bit about that if we have time here in the show.
	But to summarize it, right, the TLDR summary of it all is essentially this, that Israel is now claiming that Hezbollah is hiding rockets inside of residential buildings and other civilian targets. that Israel is now claiming that Hezbollah is hiding rockets
	So they've created a new campaign where they are bombing the ever-living heck out of these places, knocking them all the way down to the ground in a lot of cases.
	And it looks pretty devastating.
	So you have that happening, which is causing a mass exodus of people fleeing southern Lebanon into the north, trying to get away from where the sphere of violence is happening, the theater of war is happening, and it's pretty...
	You know, we talk about how everything is so peaceful, right?
	Oh, you know, world peace.
	And the Democrats keep trying to say, oh, well, the world's better off than it was before when Trump was in charge and the world's more peaceful and all these things.
	And it just couldn't be further from the truth.
	And there's a complete media blackout on all of this stuff here in the United States as well.
	you're almost hearing nothing about what's happening in Gaza, Lebanon, Israel, Ukraine, Russia, etc.
	These major conflict points that are having huge battles, even parts of Africa are completely under military siege right now.
	and And of course, our own border, there's basically a media blackout there as well, with regard to the cartel wars, which are still ongoing and haven't stopped for the last several years.
	So what we're seeing is this artificial picture image that's being projected into the minds of the american people everything is safe everything is good everything is fine meanwhile the world is catching on fire more and more every day it's spreading and uh it's it's something else to see i mean you have like we talked about the other day with this
	uh what seemed to appear to be a nuclear blast taking place in russia that nobody's really covering nobody's talking about except very you know independent alternative news sources So it's just one of those things where I look around, I'm sure a lot of you who are more plugged in and aware see it too, but there are a lot of people out there who just, you know, they watch their Monday night football and they don't understand that any of this other stuff is going on.
	And to a degree, maybe that's a good thing because we don't want to start panicking, which a lot of these people would if they understood the true nature of how delicate this world order is right now and how it's shifting and changing in a way that's going to be seismic and is going to affect every person in the globe, not just those in some far-off war-torn nation like Ukraine or Lebanon, but
	It is something to see.
	It is something to see.
	So that's happening.
	That's kind of the too-long-didn't-read summary of what's happening there in Lebanon.
	Lebanon is just being completely devastated, and it's a sight to see.
	I mean, you're seeing people fleeing en masse, trying to get out of the war zones that are now right at their doorstep.
	And I look at those pictures, and I have to be quite honest, as I look at those pictures and the videos and the things that are happening there, obviously, first of all, I'm horrified that the civilian death toll is continually jumping higher and higher and that nobody's really I'm horrified that the civilian death toll is continually jumping higher and higher and that nobody's really saying anything internationally because it's all You can pick one, right?
	Because Israel, our greatest ally, is involved.
	Or it's Ukraine, too.
	I mean, we had this whole scenario take place in Pennsylvania that's I'll talk about here with the governor of Pennsylvania and the president of Ukraine, which you're not going to believe and you're going to want to hear about.
	But like I said, the toll is overwhelmingly devastating.
	The human toll is just beyond anything which most people could fathom here in the United States.
	I mean, and I think to myself, if this were Happening here, I mean, it would just be a different world, obviously, we would be living in.
	But beyond that, it would be something that is unimaginable.
	Everybody has a normalcy bias so strongly here.
	They think that we're invincible, untouchable, and that there's nothing that can do what's being done there, here.
	I don't know.
	I hope that it doesn't come to our shores, but I fear that we keep playing with fire when we get involved in these conflicts and it's going to eventually spread into our country.
	I mean, it has to a degree.
	There are parts of our country that are war zones right now.
	There are parts of our country that are controlled by foreign national criminal cartels.
	If you don't believe me, go ask anybody living near the border in any of the border states with Mexico.
	If you don't believe me, go to Aurora and ask the residents in the apartment buildings being run by the cartels, Tren de Aragua.
	If you don't believe me, go to Little Mogadishu up there in Minnesota and see what the locals think about how their communities have changed since unfettered mass migration has overwhelmed our system.
	If you don't believe me, go ask the residents of Springfield, Ohio.
	I've seen enough on-the-ground interviews to this point to understand that the Haitians are, in fact, eating the pets.
	But that's not all they're doing.
	That's not all they're doing.
	They are here illegally, no matter what executive order was signed or what justification or legal clarification was given by the White House.
	When you are brought into our country and just told, hey, don't worry about it, we're not going to prosecute you for coming here illegally, that doesn't make you a citizen.
	I don't care what anyone says.
	And it's the Californication of America is what it is.
	The Californication of America is what's happening as we speak.
	As a guy who lived in California for three years, let me just tell you folks, it's not a pleasant place to be.
	It is absolutely not.
	It is something that, you know, I grew up on the East Coast.
	I grew up in Florida.
	I mean, I was very conservative state, always very conservative state.
	Very different than what I experienced when I lived out in California.
	And let me just say this.
	California is run like a third world country.
	An authoritarian dictatorship with a one party rule.
	And Colorado is slowly turning into California.
	I see it so clearly.
	Other states around the country are as well or already have like New York, parts of parts of Illinois, specifically Chicago.
	And they're trying to bring it there.
	You know, just like we export democracy, the communists, they import destruction, death and chaos.

	And, of course, we have other stories we're going to get into.
	One of the big stories, actually, of the last 24 hours is this one right here.
	The Department of Justice has released a letter written by Ryan Ruth, right?
	And it basically amounts to It amounts to a bounty on Donald Trump's head.
	That's what it amounts to.
	So the letter itself is a letter written by the second wannabe assassin of Donald Trump, Ryan Ruth.
	It says, quote, I will offer $150,000 to whoever can complete this job.
	Unquote.
	And it goes on and talks about how, you know, he failed us and all these other things.
	So why is this important?
	Why is this relevant?
	Well, A lot of people are saying, basically, what in the hell is wrong with these people?
	A. Releasing this letter to the public for their consumption.
	What possible purpose could it serve?
	And why is it that the transparency is always selectively applied?
	And in this case, in a way that is an incitement to violence against Donald Trump.
	Right?
	You know, you're enticing people.
	You're encouraging them.
	You're essentially offering a bounty.
	So Ryan Ruth says he's going to give this $150,000 bounty and the DOJ thinks it's a good idea to release it.
	And a lot of people are pointing out some very strange things.
	First of all, you know, the fact that they released this letter, it absolutely is incongruent with every other decision they've made as far as withholding information as a part of ongoing cases in the past.
	You know, I'm old enough to remember when a mentally deranged, satanically driven, transgendered lunatic went to a Christian school in Tennessee and shot a bunch of children, and they told us that we couldn't read the manifesto for years because it would put the lives of
	Other transgender people in danger because it would be seen as an incitement to it could be used as a way to incite hatred against those individuals.
	Now.
	Although I and many others disagreed with that decision at the time.
	It was a decision made nonetheless, which you would think established sort of a pattern or a set of directives.
	Okay, we're not going to release information that would put people's lives in danger, perhaps.
	Maybe that would that would be the precedent I would take away from it.
	Although I disagreed with it, and I thought it should have been released.
	I, I could understand, I guess, to a degree, what maybe there was some justification for, but even then I don't think it should have been withheld because what was more important to the public at the time was being able to see clearly the motivation of a person who is on,
	Uh, I think they were, don't quote me on this, you know, possibly on SSRIs, you know, obviously mentally ill, obviously having their mental illness affirmed by a community who then turned a blind eye to that mental illness, which then devolved into a violent hatred, which was unleashed upon young, innocent children at a Christian school in Tennessee.
	So, from my perspective, that should have never been censored.
	But okay, we've set the precedent, right?
	The precedent is, we are not going, the DOJ is not going to release information that would be, you know, considered something that would put someone's life in danger, right?
	Or that could be used as a way to incite violence against somebody.
	Well, I guess that just doesn't matter when it's Donald Trump, because he's essentially Hitler, according to them, and because he's Hitler, they can just do whatever they want without any real recourse or issues.
	So if they want to release the letter of his second would-be assassin, calling on more would-be assassins to come forward while offering them and enticing them with a $150,000 bounty, that's totally fine and normal and reasonable. that's totally fine and normal and reasonable.
	Could somebody please make this make sense for me?
	Because obviously I understand the incongruent nature of how all of this is and how it works and how we know there's one side that is going to be targeted and have every disadvantage put before them.
	And there's another side that's going to be protected, that's going to have every blockade thrust in front of them to prevent people from seeing clearly and truly what it is and who they are.
	But beyond that, I understand where our nation is heading.
	I do.
	I see it clearly.
	I hope you, I'm sure actually that most of you out there, if you're listening to this show on a regular basis or a semi-regular basis, but if you're semi-regular, try to make it more regular.
	We love having you.
	But if you're listening, then I understand, I think you understand where this country is heading.
	I look around, and I don't want to sound like a broken record, but I look around and I see so many people who are just living in a complete oblivious way from all of this.
	They don't have any clue what's going on.
	And that's why what I do here is I try to remind people, hey, you know, what's happening in this fallen world will come and it will pass and it will be of no consequence to our eternal soul as long as we give our lives to Jesus Christ and believe on Him and do that which is right according to the scripture that we've been given instruction from and discernment through.
	However, I feel as though so many souls will be lost simply to the fact that they are withheld this truth, the ultimate truth of the gospel, and then beyond that, the truth of what's happening in this world.
	Because if you can't clearly see the evil that you're living in, or understand it, then in what world or way could you possibly ever Have a chance at seeing something that you don't know you're in, basically.
	That's what worries me about this whole thing.
	That's what concerns me about it more than anything else.
	I mean, I understand we're all here for a minute and then gone.
	We're all, you know, but a wisp.
	Here today, gone tomorrow.
	But I guess when I see this kind of stuff, it really does bother me.
	Because when you look at the trajectory, I mean, there's going to be so much unnecessary pain and suffering.
	There already is so much unnecessary pain and suffering and hate.
	I mean, how many families have been just destroyed by politics of all things?
	Which... The ideologies that we disagree on are just... I don't know how you can be on one side versus the other.
	But they justify all of these things, you know?
	Evil will be called good.
	Good will be called evil.
	That's where we're at.
	So that's how this all happens.
	That's how we get away with it.
	And of course, I mean, the obvious top layer there is that evil's existed.
	It will exist.
	And that's just the fact of the matter.
	There's nothing we can really do about it other than believe in God and do good unto others and pray and give our lives to him and go out there in the world and make a difference in a positive way.
	So this story though, I mean, it really got me.

	But there are other stories that I think are worth covering here.
	In other news, kind of shifting to something a little more funny, although it's not when you actually think about it, but it is kind of funny.
	So, in response to Elon Musk posting a video, about Kamala Harris, where Kamala Harris has her voice digitally altered with AI to say a bunch of things that are true, but not things that she would say out loud necessarily.
	The account that made that video goes by the name of Mr. Reagan, and they are pretty good at making these sort of AI, satirical, funny videos that are obviously satirical to anybody who has an IQ above room temperature, which unfortunately some of the folks in this country don't seem to have, but that's neither here nor there.
	And it's obvious satire, and it's obvious free speech.
	It's obviously something that's being made as a form of, you know, mockery and political discourse satire, political satire.
	Well, in response to this, Gavin Newsom came out and signed, I think he just signed into law, a bill that essentially makes Any political form of free speech using AI to alter things, alter videos or images, basically makes it a crime in California.
	And a lot of you are upset about this, and a lot of you are pointing out that there's no way that this will be able to withstand any sort of judicial review as far as the legality per the Constitution and the First Amendment, because it's absurd.
	How can you say that political satire is illegal just because you don't like it?
	It's an absurd, it's really a devious and maniacal thing, which we shouldn't be surprised, coming from California and Gavin Newsom, I see how that slick-haired devil operates.
	But, interestingly, Mr. Reagan came out with another video, but I'll preface it by saying this is political satire, so please don't believe the words in this video.
	It's merely a way of making light of a tyrannical dictator's decrees from his little throne there in Sacramento, California.
	So here is Gavin Newsom.
	Here's the part Gavin Newsom won't say out loud.
	Let's put it that way.
	I like that.
	This is what Gavin Newsom can't say.

	Hi, I'm Gavin Newsom, and I'm definitely not gay.
	A lot of people are criticizing me for banning AI-generated political videos.
	So, let me explain.
	The problem is that Democrats, like me, we're not the brightest bulbs in the tanning bed.
	We can't always distinguish between reality and fiction.

	How would we know that Hunter Biden's laptop was Russian disinformation?

	Also, how would we know that inflation is transitory and that the border is secure?
	How would we know that COVID came from bat soup and Trump told everyone to inject bleach?
	How would we know that boys can be girls and girls can be boys and there's no such thing as gender?
	How would we know that Trump is controlled by Vladimir Putin?
	Also, I'm super not gay.
	Also, how would we know that Trump totally assaulted Eugene Carroll in a Bergdorf Goodman dressing room?
	How would we know the 2020 election was totally legitimate with zero fraud?
	How would we know that January 6th was an armed insurrection where many police officers lost their lives?
	How would we know that the COVID vaccines had zero side effects and that masks were 100% effective?
	How would we know Kamala brilliantly invented her very own original idea, no tax on tips, or that I'm totally not gay?
	Eliminate taxes on tips for service and hospitality workers.
	How would we know that Trump wrote Project 2025 or that Trump staged both of his assassination attempts?
	And how would we know that Trump is literally Hitler?
	Reincarnation is definitely a thing.
	Hitler died in 1945.
	Trump was born in 1946.
	Coincidence?
	I think not.
	How would we know that all of that is true if we don't ban Mr. Reagan's AI parody videos?
	How would we know that we should all drink the Kool-Aid?

	Of course, we just listened to Gavin Newsom explaining he's definitely not gay.
	So, remember that.
	But, beyond that, another update to that Ryan Ruth letter I think is important to kind of notice.
	People have been pointing out here that The DOJ releasing documents in such a way as they've done with this Ryan Ruth letter is very abnormal, and it's quite chilling that they are doing this, the precedent that it's setting that, you know, one side can be targeted.
	Somebody texted in, and if you guys want to text in, I'm always interested to hear what you have to say.
	Somebody from the 505 texted in and says, when it comes to the hypocrisy of some, I have to agree with Bongino, it's hierarchy.
	They are in charge and will do what they want.
	I think that's very true.
	I really do believe that, essentially, I've made the analogy for a long time now, for anybody who's been listening to me for a while.
	The analogy is simple, but it's, I think, true, where it's like when a bully punches you in the face and says, what are you going to do about it?
	And when you don't do anything, they're not going to stop bullying you, is the point.
	So, that's where we're at as a nation.
	We've been conditioned, we've been demoralized, we've been desensitized to an extent that a lot of this stuff that would be reprehensible and unimaginable a decade or two ago is commonplace and accepted.
	Movies, pop culture, TV shows, etc.
	have normalized behavior that would otherwise have been shocking and would have been earth-shattering.
	Not too many years ago.
	And again, this is, you know, Alex Jones used to talk a lot about the Overton window.
	Shifting the public perspective on what is acceptable and normal.
	This is something that, and in other ways, shifting the public perception of what is known, right, informationally speaking.
	I see this as a shifting of the Overton window to a place where, you know, what Trump did was very good in a large way because it opened our eyes to how corrupt everything is and how much of an illusion our system is, the illusion of choice, how red team versus blue team really was a meaningless thing they concocted to make us think that, you know,
	you know, to embrace our innermost tribalistic desires and tendencies as humans that they could exploit.
	And, I mean, at one point we literally had, for a U.S. election, Skull and Bones member A versus Skull and Bones member B, if you'll recall the Bush-Carrie election in 2004.
	And, or was that 2000?
	I don't remember.
	It was the, no, Bush-Gore, and then it was, yeah, Carrie.
	So, this to me is...
	is completely indicative of a society that has come to a point where they've made the decision, the ruling class that is, that they are above us.
	And like the texture says, it is hierarchy and it is feudalism to the highest extent.
	The furthest extent, I should say, where they are, they see themselves as untouchable, essentially, and beyond reproach and beyond criticism and beyond, you know, culpability.
	They always have the fallback of saying, well, you know, I didn't really do it.
	I was just acting on behalf of an institution.
	Okay, so how do you arrest an institution?
	Well, you can't.
	It's just the same way that you can't arrest a corporation.
	You can issue a fine, you can have the heads resign, but you cannot imprison an institution or a corporation.
	You can merely slow it down temporarily.
	Um, this is why a lot of people are calling for radical change.
	That which has been discussed in many different ways.
	I mean, abolishing certain federal agencies, uh, like the Department of Education, for instance, or the FBI or the CIA.
	These institutions that have become so beyond the control of average Americans,
	And what they tell us is a democratic system that those institutions have actually been weaponized against the American citizens to ensure that they don't have an ability from here going into the future indefinitely to have any say in how those institutions are run or what their mission statement is.
	They're they're mandate that we don't have any say in that.
	The only say we have in the CIA's mandate is if you don't protect the CIA, you are an enemy of the CIA.
	You know, if you don't, or if you're not on board with the FBI and what they're doing, you're the enemy.
	And that may seem radical to people who aren't paying attention, but if you pay attention to their organization, the people running it, their own memoranda and other actions that they've taken, it is all but clear which side it is all but clear which side they favor politically and which agenda they have in their prerogative to enact.
	And it is not that which we, the American people, have any control over by any regard or any means.
	And now it's been with the thing, the thing with Trump is, and I like Trump, I, I'm going to vote for him.
	I'm going to support him, and I hope you vote for him, too.
	I think he's the best option we have.
	And I'm not just voting for him because he's the best option.
	I think he's a candidate who we can persuade to become closer to the political leanings that I feel, at least.
	And I think Kamala represents an existential threat to this country in her political ideology and who she is and what she represents.
	But the thing about Trump that you have to understand is that what we saw from 2016 to 2020 was very much the Emperor having no clothes, right?
	But instead of the Emperor being Trump, the Emperor is the Deep State, if that makes sense.
	Like we, the deep state, we see it now.
	They're naked walking down the street, but the news organizations are telling us that they're fully clothed and they look great and they're really, really not partisan at all.
	And they're really, really on our side.
	And they really, really love the American people and want to protect us.

	Now, what is this referring to?
	It's referring to the fact that Vladimir Zelensky, the president of Ukraine, was just flown into Pennsylvania to meet with the governor of Pennsylvania, Josh Shapiro.
	Remember, this is a key swing state, by the way.

	Well, how did he get there?
	Well, he was flown in on a US Air Force C-17 airplane cargo airplane.
	The Biden-Harris administration is Using military assets to fly foreign leaders into battleground states to undermine their political opponents and beyond that, what did they do?
	Well, they went and toured a munitions factory where Governor Josh Shapiro proceeded to gleefully sign one of the bombs that would be used presumably to kill innocent Russian or Ukrainian civilians.

	It's like this is dangerous for humanity.
	It's a mental illness folks like there's that it's not funny.
	And there's no truth to what they're saying because they're saying that it's totally normal and fine that a man puts on a dress and now he's a woman and we just have to accept that.
	That's not rooted in truth.
	That's rooted in gobbledygook, fantasy, la la land, bizarro world.

	It ain't rooted in the world I'm living in or you're living in, folks.
	And I have friends who have are dealing with this stuff with, you know, in some cases, their grandchildren, and other situations in the family, or their nieces and nephews.
	And it is horrific.
	You have a family that's sitting there like half of the family saying like, okay, you know, little Johnny is not Jane.
	And John needs to go to seek medical help.
	You know, like real medical help, not some lunatic, deranged psychologist whose psychiatrist is going to affirm his delusion and give him, you know, medicine to castrate himself.
	And then the other half of the family is saying, well, I saw, you know, it's loving to have Johnny, I mean, little Jane chemically castrate herself because she believes that she is they and they them and if they them wants to you know, chemically castrate themselves at the age of 12.
	That's, that's a decision we're willing to live with.
	It's like, you're willing to live with it.
	That kid that you're abusing is going to have to live with that.

	You've indicated there's a transaction where a Sorospat group would Take ownership of over 200 radio stations across 40 different markets after the FC originally indicating that that transaction could be reviewed and approved at the bureau level without a commission vote.
	It's now become clear that that is a decision before the full commission and it's one that I would assume now or in the near future The commission would approve.
	I think what's interesting about it is that the FCC here is not following its normal process for reviewing a transaction.
	We have established over a number of years one way in which you can get approval from the FCC when you have in excess of 25% foreign ownership, which this transaction does.
	And it seems to me that the FCC is poised to create, for the first time, an entirely new shortcut.
	Yeah, thank you.
	As you pointed out here and previously, these proceedings for transfer of ownership have been expedited.
	What exactly makes this case so deserving of an expedited proceeding so far, from what you could tell?
	There is nothing about this transaction that is out of the ordinary.
	It's the type of thing that we see all the time, and the FCC has a process for this.
	The full commission itself has never signed off on a shortcut like this.
	What we usually do is we require people to file a petition with us We bring in national security agencies.
	They can review the foreign ownership.
	It's probably no big deal here, but we review that foreign ownership and then we vote.
	Here, they're trying to do something that's never been done before at the commission level.
	All right.
	No big deal.
	The FCC just fast tracked it.
	George Soros is now going to take ownership of 220 plus radio stations with only a little bit of a little over half of America being reached through that.
	So.
	This radio station, I'm proud to say—thankful, more appropriately to say—is not owned by George Soros, nor do I see it ever being owned by George Soros.

	And you ask the question, you know, why do they say these things?
	Well, I mean, there's a number of reasons, but the main reason I think they say this stuff, the quiet part out loud, that is, is because there's a system of control that has been happening and being deployed against us for a long time, and Mike Pence, Mike Benz, not Mike Pence, Mike Benz, with a B, B-E-N-Z, Thank you, Hillsdale, for having me and the incredible work that you're doing.
	very eloquent lecture he gave to Hillsdale College.
	I'm going to play some of it.
	I don't think we'll fit it all in, but I'm playing it nonetheless because it's that important.

	Today's topic is the history of the intelligence state.
	And what I'm going to try to describe to you is the shape of the beast that we are up against and has targeted so many people in this room.
	And Hillsdale asked me to speak about this particular topic, the history of the intelligence state.
	Obviously, the intelligence state is a concept that implies that intelligence has taken over the state and that it has somehow gone rogue.
	Something has gone very wrong that Intelligence which is supposed to serve the state has subsumed it.
	I will present the essential history of the intelligence state, but there is something beyond it that I think beginning with that helps elucidate, and that may be the octopus that was just referred to.
	We'll come to meet it as we progress.
	So I think the best way to understand is to actually start the story in the middle and then we will go back in time to the founding of the country.
	We'll sort of speed run the essential history and then all the way up into the present.
	But we're going to start in the year 1948.
	This is the sort of zero AD of the founding of the intelligence capacities of the U.S.
	government.
	And instead of sort of doing the what you'll learn in an ordinary history book, we're going to start with a document that I'm curious if anyone has ever seen.
	It's called the Inauguration of Organized Political Warfare.
	Anyone ever seen that document in this room?
	How many people in this room know the name George Kennan?
	Okay.
	75% of the hands went up.
	Did you know that George Kennan, in 1948, wrote this memo called the Inauguration of Organized Political Warfare, in which he's famous for, for folks who are not familiar, George Kennan is sort of known as a sort of godfather figure of American diplomacy and the Central Intelligence Agency.
	He was famous for this long telegram, the chief strategist of the containment strategy of the Soviet Union during the Cold War.
	But before all that, When all of this was getting started, he penned this top-secret memo, which was not declassified for 60 years, it was declassified in 2005, that I think helps elucidate the story as we're going to proceed here.
	We're going to go through this memo, but I want to give some context first.
	The inauguration of organized political warfare was written just 12 days after the Central Intelligence Agency did its first government overthrow operation, its first election-rigging event.
	That was on April 18, 1948, and this was written just 12 days after that.
	And the particular focus was what had just happened in Italy.
	Italy was having its first democratic election after World War II, and it posited A U.S.-backed candidate on the one hand and a Russia-backed candidate on the other.
	And when the rules-based international order was being established in 1948, and we had these coordinating bodies through the National Security Council, the very first memo I have Just on screen here emphasizes how important it is for the U.S.
	to control the political affairs of Italy.
	You'll see National Security Council memo 1-1 is titled, The Positioning of the United States with Respect to Italy.
	Kennan wrote, Italy is obviously the key point.
	If the communists win there, our whole position would probably be undermined.
	What happened in this case was in 1947, the Central Intelligence Agency was established under the National Security Act, and it was originally intended to have intelligence focus on gathering and analysis.
	But because of the key importance perceived by the U.S.
	State Department to influence the course of the Italian election, It developed a makeshift, ad hoc, thrown-together-at-the-last-minute, $250 million operation to swing that election in favor of the candidate that the U.S.
	government preferred.
	And I just have some statistics here and a little bit of context because we're going to see this as a repeating theme.
	So, about $250 million were spent of US taxpayer money in order to prop up our preferred candidate.
	The CIA made use of off-the-book sources of funding to finance it.
	We had bags of money that were delivered to selected politicians to pay for their political expenses, their campaign expenses, for posters, for pamphlets.
	We threatened The Italian government that aid money from the U.S.
	would be withheld if the wrong person got elected.
	Our newly created CIA proprietary media organizations, Voice of America, Radio Free Europe, Radio Liberty, set up a vast spawn of Italian network news in order to create a surround sound inside that country to buy U.S.
	propaganda and messaging.
	We funneled aid money through churches and charity fronts.
	to Mafia and Union Street Muscle.
	We worked with Hollywood to project Greta Garbo films and others into the country.
	And the reason I'm starting with this context is not just because it will help explain the rationale for the beast that was created just six weeks after this memo was penned, also by George Kennan.
	But it's because, understand that this is the intelligence services co-opting all of these organizations.
	Which is to say that when the U.S.
	government provides funding or assistance, suddenly the churches that they were working with are no longer simply churches.
	They are instruments of statecraft.
	The non-profit charities are no longer simply charities.
	They become instruments of statecraft.
	The media is no longer an independent media.
	It is an instrument of statecraft.
	Hollywood becomes an instrument of statecraft.
	Organized criminal mafias, and just so you understand the context of this, the predecessor to the CIA, the OSS, together with our War Department, as it was called at the time, was working with criminal groups in Italy As well as with church organizations and others who were being prosecuted by Mussolini.
	And they served as a sort of guerrilla resistance to assist the U.S.
	Army in intelligence operations.
	And so we had that network established.
	It was unseemly, but seen as necessary in a time of war.
	But it was simply maintained in times of peace for political war.
	But then suddenly organized crime becomes not a criminal offense, but rather a sanctioned instrument of statecraft.
	And just to drive that point home, this is Miles Copeland, one of the founding members of the CIA, in his own book wrote that had it not been for the mafia, the communists would by now be in control of Italy.
	Why was all this necessary?
	Well, this was necessary because in the eyes of the U.S.
	State Department, we would have lost the election if the intelligence community hadn't rigged it.
	60% of the vote would have gone to the communists, but for CIA intervention in their assessment.
	And I'm going to just urge throughout this that when you hear communist or fascist in terms of the historical data points we're going to go over, understand that in the post-2016 world, all of this infrastructure has been repurposed to take out populism.
	So every time you see communism, as much as all of us abhor that, I think, with every fiber in our souls, The biggest threat right now to the intelligence state, and to the blob we'll come to meet towards the end of this, is domestic populism.
	And this is actually the language that they use.
	So, when you see that say, the communists would have won, many of us would prefer, obviously, that the communists does not win.
	But today, they use that exact same language, as you'll see, to describe stopping the rise of populism, and stopping populist political candidates.
	So I want to just go through this since I didn't see a hand raise.
	Alright, so as we go on, I want to keep this coming because look, the information in this lecture which I have posted on my X account, just informed the number one, is vitally important to understanding how we've just informed the number one, is vitally important to understanding how we've come to where we But it all started back in 1948, where they made justifications for their criminal abuse of power, which have lasted until today.

	All right, so let's get back to this Mike Benz lecture on the deep state and the blob.
	Listen to this.
	In this room, this key document that was the predecessor to the government linchpin license that created this whole universe.
	So we're just going to go through some of these receipts I've flagged on screen here.
	This is from from George Kennan, April 30th, 1948, just the week before the Central Intelligence Agency had achieved this incredible win in Italy.
	And George Kennan and the State Department and the White House were so overwhelmed with delight about the world of possibility if we could simply scale the Italian operation, but the problem was is it was very much against everything this country had stood for for a century and a half before that.
	So I'm just gonna read some of the highlighted items here.
	So you'll see the phrase political warfare dots this in a very deliberate way.
	Organized political warfare by the U.S.
	government to further our national objectives, to further our influence and authority using means both overt and covert, including black psychological warfare and many other techniques.
	George Kennan says here, we have been handicapped, however, by a popular attachment to the concept of a basic difference between peace and war.
	And that our public, you'll see he actually crossed out of the draft, because again this is a top secret memo that was published in 1948 and wasn't declassified until 2005, the hard record preserves his own scrawls.
	You'll see at the bottom it says, we're hamstrung by this basic difference between peace and war by our public's yearnings, and then that's crossed out and it says, by a national tendency to seek a political cure-all and a reluctance to recognize the realities of international relations.
	Basically saying, listen, we answer to the voters, the people, and they're not going to like this.
	They don't understand international relations.
	They think there's a difference between peace and war.
	And World War II is over.
	It just ended three years ago.
	But if we go into peacetime mode and we do not continue political warfare, then we will lose the opportunity to dominate the 20th century.
	And you'll see here it references, this was the Italian elections, right?
	That we just engaged in this in the Italian elections 12 days from then.
	And that this political warfare has to be directed and coordinated by the Department of State.
	And we're going to come back to that because when you see the shape of the intelligence state, it extends far beyond intelligence and actually is, it's really a tool of statecraft.
	So, here is a very interesting telling vision into this CIA godfather.
	It says, we cannot afford in the future, in perhaps more serious political crises, to scramble into impromptu covert operations as we did at the time of the Italian elections.
	Saying, we did this, it was great, it was amazing, but we need this capacity everywhere.
	We need it on every country on earth where there might be a political crisis, every country on earth where there might be A need for us to protect U.S.
	national interests or trade interests or financial interests or security interests.
	We need the same network we had in Italy, working with everyone from the cultural influencers to the media to the churches to the charities to the organized crime networks.
	Even if we don't use it, just in case we need it, so we don't need to scramble if an opposition politician decides to go sideways against a U.S.
	national interest agenda.
	So I'm setting the stage with that before we go back in time and then sort of go through the whole history of this, because just less than two months after George Kennan wrote that inauguration of organized political warfare, saying, since 1789, we have never done this sort of thing in any organized fashion.
	The American people aren't going to like it, but we have to do it.
	Just less than two months after that, George Kennan then sponsored the very act which would permanently change the structure of the American government and the way our country works.
	And this was the National Security Council Memo 10-2.
	Now, for folks who are not familiar, the National Security Council is called the interagency.
	It coordinates what the State Department, the Defense Department, the CIA, what everyone is doing so that they are all working in a complementary fashion.
	It's in the White House, and it's sort of the executive oversight of everything.
	So, you'll see this memo here, NSC 10-2, and just so that you See it, it's right here on the State Department website under state.gov, what I'm about to read here.
	The sanctioned U.S.
	intelligence carry out a broad range of covert operations, including propaganda, economic warfare, demolition, subversion, sabotage.
	It was sponsored by George Kennan.
	He was the one who pushed for this right after he wrote the inauguration of organized political warfare.
	But he would later say it was the greatest mistake he ever made because of the monster it created.
	Because what NSC 10-2 did was it gave the intelligence community this burgeoning newly created CIA and we now have 17 intelligence agencies plus the ODNI.
	They transform not just from spy organizations but to lie organizations.
	What I mean by that is because of this phrase that is used in NSE 10-2.
	I'm going to read it.
	All of these activities, which are normally illegal, can be carried out so long as they are planned and executed so that any U.S.
	government responsibility for them is not evident to unauthorized persons, and that if uncovered, the U.S.
	government can plausibly deny any responsibility for them.
	I'm going to actually just show you the exact language here.
	This is, again, 1948.
	All covert operations, all of these, sabotage, demolition, controlling the media, They are now legal as long as they are planned and executed so that any U.S.
	government responsibility is not evident to unauthorized persons.
	So you are cast out of Eden, effectively, if you eat the apple of the fruit of the tree of knowledge.
	You are not allowed to know, and they are not allowed to tell you.
	Their job is to lie to you.
	And that if they do get caught, the U.S.
	government can then lie above the agency level, above the CIA.
	The State Department gets to lie to the world because the CIA had these covert links and they can say it was not an official, sanctioned U.S.
	government operation.
	Something went rogue, someone wasn't authorized, someone took it into their own hands.
	And I'm just going to read this analysis that I think is a useful summary.
	That plausible deniability encouraged the autonomy of this newly created CIA, which was created a year earlier, and other covert action agencies in order to protect the visible authorities of the government.
	And we're going to come back to that as we discuss the power structure of all these different organizations.
	But I want to drive this point home immediately, which is that This was seen as a major growth opportunity because of how effective it was in the 1940s and the 1950s to be able to take over the world through diplomacy, through duplicity.
	But the problem with diplomacy through duplicity, plausible deniability, is the core doctrine that governs the interagency which controls all of our major U.S.
	government operations on national security, foreign policy, and international interests.
	Because you lie to the outside world, you need to also lie to your own citizens to keep the outside from finding out.
	So while the lies may help you successfully acquire an empire, you now have to permanently maintain an empire of lies.
	Not just abroad, but at home.
	Wow.
	Fascinating information.
	Valuable information.
	And we'll continue with it a little bit further when we come back after the break.

	We're listening to Mike Benz and his lecture from Hillsdale College about the Deep State and its history, the history of the Intelligent State.
	Let's continue.
	Now, in 1948, when the founding fathers of the Intelligent State were setting this all up, they were intensely aware of the monster they were making.
	In 1948, the Congress passed the Smith-Munt Act, because again, in 1948 is when all this was getting established.
	The CIA was brand new.
	NSC 10-2 had just come out.
	And Congress said, OK, OK, listen, you guys are creating a monster here.
	We want to make sure that we don't build this empire of lies and that Americans are not being inundated with this sprawl of information control that you are conducting around the world in order to conduct organized political warfare on all countries on planet Earth.
	And I think many folks in this room are probably familiar with what happened during the Obama administration, which was this essential safeguard, which had been with us since the moment this all was created in 1948, was repealed with quite little fanfare.
	It was tucked into an NDAA.
	It was really, I think, only discovered by the public after the damage had been done that the Smith-Munt was modernized to get rid of that restriction.
	It was effectively amended.
	And so the headline here is, U.S.
	Repeals Propaganda Ban, Spreads Government-Made News to Americans.
	For decades, this anti-propaganda law prevented the U.S.
	government's mammoth broadcasting arm, I should say arms, from delivering program Programming to American audiences.
	And mammoth is not a big enough word.
	After World War II, the world, actually at this exact time in 1948, the UN Declaration for Human Rights came out and forbade the territorial acquisition of other countries by military force.
	It became against these new international norms and standards, international law.
	You could not simply have a military occupation of the Philippines like the United States had in the early 1900s.
	And so with hard power ruled out as the dominant means to have an empire, the U.S. transitioned to a soft power empire, which would be dominated by agencies like the Central Intelligence Agency, democracy promotion programs at the State Department, later USAID, and the whole democracy promotion programs at the State Department, later USAID, and the whole swarm army we're about to But even right out the gate, the Central Intelligence Agency immediately moved into the media space to control the messaging that people around the world experienced.
	And so I have on screen Voice of America, Radio Free Europe, Radio Liberty, Radio Free Asia, dozens of others.
	They were CI proprietary media.
	This is Frank Wisner.
	Frank Wisner was the spearhead of this early CIA media control apparatus.
	The name comes from the Wurlitzer, sort of piano-like organ, because Wisner would brag that he could play the international news as if it was a Wurlitzer.
	He could have any narrative carried in any country on earth because of the vast sprawl of media control that this newly formed intelligence agency Which was leveraging, essentially, the Office of War Information's Pentagon media network created during World War II.
	Two thousands of partnered media outlets on all six populated continents.
	At that time, one third of CI's budget went just to funding media organizations.
	And today that number is paralleled by the Web of CI cutouts that we'll meet when we get to 1983 and beyond and how this initial structure changed after the scandals of the 1970s.
	This was popularly called the Department of Dirty Tricks.
	This NSC 10-2 plausible deniability power to essentially play God around the world.
	This was their term, Department of Dirty Tricks.
	And just because it's somewhat funny, you'll see this is Max Boot.
	Just a few years ago, calling for us to make a more robust Department of Dirty Tricks.
	Why the United States needs to sabotage, undermine, expose its enemies.
	And you'll see that this is a CIA story.
	CIA is underlined there on the second one, but notice that it goes way beyond that, the dirty tricks.
	It's the Secretary of State, the Secretary of Defense, the Central Intelligence Agency Director, and the Administrator of the USAID.
	So, one essential way to cut through how this is structured is to understand that there's a key distinction between the American homeland and the American empire.

	So one essential way to cut through how this is structured is to understand that there's a key distinction between the American homeland and the American Empire.
	We live in the American homeland, but the American Empire is everywhere else and And today, even all the major U.S.
	domiciled corporations get the lion's share of their markets, their revenues, their supply chain resources from Everywhere else on earth.
	We are actually, even though we are a big country, we pale in comparison to the globe and the issue is when people on the homeland want to put their own interests first, they run up against the empire managers and therefore against the This blob apparatus we're going to see, therefore, against the intelligence state.
	And what I have here is, in this inauguration of organized political warfare, you see that even though the emphasis is on giving the CIA this capacity, the entire thing is coordinated by the U.S.
	State Department, which does not have a plausible deniability license.
	It's supposed to be our official U.S.
	government policy, but secretly, The CIA answers to the State Department in all things, and we're going to dive into the structure on that.
	You'll see there at the bottom, this whole operation has to be answerable to the Secretary of State who directs the whole in coordination.
	While covert political warfare must be controlled by the State Department, the direction should not physically be in the State Department.
	This is more true when it's realized that the considerable funds necessary for such an operation could not be concealed in the Department's budget.
	So they have to hide what they're doing from the American people and from foreign countries who, if there was transparency about how our own taxpayer dollars were being spent, they would know their countries are being targeted for overthrow.
	So the State Department can't conceal it.
	So we need this web of other government agencies, including the intelligence services, To park the money there.
	So again, the coordination of covert operations with overt conduct should be accomplished through the office of the Secretary of State and Under Secretary.
	And our proposal is that this tradition be revised to further American national interests.
	So that is the linchpin of this, which is this concept of U.S.
	national interests.
	So now let's go back in time to look at the origin of this.
	So this is the first meeting of Congress in 1789.
	When the first meeting of Congress happened, we established only three government agencies.
	Imagine a world without HUD.
	Imagine a world without the Department of Education or Labor.
	At the founding moment of our first meeting of Congress, we established only three government agencies, the Department of State, To manage the affairs of state, to manage our relations in the international community.
	The Department of Defense, and I'm going to asterisk that for a second, and the Department of the Treasury.
	But that's where we're going to have to leave it for today.

	But with that being said, you know, we find ourselves here at the final segment of the show.
	And of course, you know we always wrap it up with some scripture in our God's Grace is Greater segment.
	Today is no different.
	I want to leave you guys with some hope and encouragement to take with you today to go out and do great things and one of the things that I want to talk about here specifically is that we must keep our hope even when things don't go the way we hope they would.
	God is with us and I know in your lives you probably have experienced moments where you thought things would go one way and then they went almost in the exact opposite way and it can be discouraging.
	I know myself I've experienced some of that lately and it's been really one of those things that As tough as it is and as painful as it may be, the hope that I find when I go back to God, it's a spring that runs eternal.
	And so if you're facing something similar to what I'm going through or what I've just went through, which it doesn't matter what it is specifically, whatever it may be, though, remember to never lose hope, never to doubt, to always have faith.
	And that's why we go to the scripture.
	Today we're in Psalm 129, which talks about protection of the oppressed.
	And this is another way we find hope in God.
	It says, since my youth, they have often attacked me.
	Let Israel say, since my youth, they have often attacked me, but they have not prevailed against me.
	Plowmen plowed over my back.
	They made their furrows long.
	The Lord is righteous.
	He has cut the ropes of the wicked.
	Let all who hate Zion be driven back in disgrace.
	Let them be like grass on the rooftops which withers before it grows and can't even fill the hands of the reaper or the arms of the one who binds sheaves.
	Then none who pass will say, May the Lord's blessing be on you.
	We bless you in the name of Yahweh.
	And God is a protector.
	He will protect those who are oppressed.
	And without getting into any details of my own, I'll just say that sometimes what I do here publicly, pronouncing my faith and the truth that I believe in, it can cost me in the real world, you know, the non-radio world, and that's kind of what I've been through, but I'm putting my faith back in God, and if you've felt any kind of
	Discouragement or affliction, I pray that you do the same.
	And if you really are not sure and you haven't accepted Jesus, now's your chance.
	Open your heart, say a prayer, call on His name, repent of your sin, and accept Him as your Lord and Savior.
	Because no matter how dark things get, there's always light that will pierce through the darkness and will deliver you.
	And I know that whatever is meant for me to
