Cary Lake going to town against the state of Arizona, especially Maricopa County, and how they completely, fraudulently stole that election from her, which we're going to look at the actual clips from the trial There's just bombshell after bombshell being dropped on these corrupt criminals who help facilitate the steal there.
We're going to see and give you a full update on that.
Plus, we're going to get into some other things.
Joe Biden meeting President Zelensky of Ukraine today in the White House, and we're going to cover that with a little bit of detail.
We're also going to look at how everything is really a distraction from what the globalists are pushing on us, which is this cashless society for their global new world order.
We're going to talk about that, too.
Plus, we're going to get into the fact that rhinos like Mitch McConnell and Kevin McCarthy are not only ruining the GOP, but they're pushing us on the fast track to hell, trying to destroy this country, collapsing America from within, pushing a $1.7 trillion, nearly $2 trillion budget through ramming it through Congress right before Christmas when no one's really paying attention.
The week of Christmas, they push this through.
It's because they know when to do these things to keep us unaware and uninvolved.
But we're going to cover it.
We're going to talk about it.
There's a lot there, and it matters.
So we're going to get into it.

So before we get into the first story here, I just have to let you guys know, since this is the last episode, before we're going to take a little break, what that's going to look like, what the schedule going forward is going to look like.
I've told you this the last few days.
I just want to reiterate it for anybody who has not heard me explain it yet.

I'm going to be taking some time for a Christmas break, vacation break, to worship our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and share in fellowship with my family.
And basically what that's going to look like is today is the last show until New Year.

You know what I say to you people out there who want to, you know, chastise others, who want to take time to worship our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ?
You need to get a grip on it, okay?
Just because you may be right about some holiday that's, you know, the winter solstice is not really Jesus' birthday, fine, okay?
Calm down.
How about there are some of us out there who may recognize the fact that Christmas may not be the exact day that Jesus was born, but still take it as a time to worship our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
And maybe, just maybe, there are some of us out there who actually appreciate having some time with family.
To talk about the story of Jesus' birth, the story of Jesus' sacrifice on the cross and the salvation that he brought to our lives.
Maybe, just maybe, some of us are aware that just because some people have appropriated some days to call it whatever and chastise others, that some people may be aware and still use it as an opportunity to share Jesus' gospel and to talk about his birth.
So...
I had to get that out there at the beginning because I see you guys in the comments like, who are you trying to prove yourself to?
Talk about virtue signaling.
It's like, we get it.
You know that the 25th is the winter solstice and it's some pagan holiday.
Well, if you're a real Christian, maybe you can recognize that and then just ignore it and take time to worship Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
Just maybe.
Just throwing that out there for everybody who has got to throw their opinion at me as if they're telling me something I'm not aware of and accusing me of...
Blaspheme me against God because I'm going to take a few days to be with family and share in fellowship toward our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
So, yeah, just had to clear that up because it's rather annoying, and I love you guys.
And today, a big part of today's episode is going to be Luke chapter 2, which I did not plan us landing on that on the last day before I take off for Christmas break.
There was no preplanning.
This is all God's timing because I started in the book of Matthew months ago, not knowing.
Even not knowing that I was going to do all four Gospels in a row, but especially not knowing that right before I leave for Christmas break that I would be ending up in our God's Grace is Greater segment that we do at the end of every episode where we do a deep dive in the Scripture on Luke chapter 2 talking about the birth of Jesus Christ.
There was no way for me to plan that.
I had no pre-planning on that, so...
Before I digress too far, stick around to the end if you want to hear about the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ ahead of this Christmas holiday where we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
So, I know that a lot of you came here for the news, and let's get into the news.
Starting here, flashback.
One week ago, Maricopa County team squirmed during hearing when Carrie Lake team asked to inspect ballots.
Now we know why.
They intentionally used wrong-sized ballots to jam machines on Election Day.
Yeah, that's the story here.
Carrie Lake War Room reporting over on their social media saying, 48 out of 113 ballots reviewed during our examination were 19-inch ballots produced on 20-inch paper.
This one-inch discrepancy caused chaos on Election Day, causing the mass rejection of these votes as they were attempted to be read through the tabulators.
In violation of state law, Maricopa County separated the duplicate ballots from the original ballot before the recount, making them irreconcilable.
So not only did they use these 20-inch paper ballots to jam the machines in Maricopa County to cause this chaos on Election Day, but then they intermingled all of the ballots and didn't keep them separated so that they could not be reconciled afterwards.
So they not only sabotaged the election fraudulently, but then they committed another crime to try to cover up the first crime.
And that's how these crimes end up going.
Here's an example of people on Election Day trying to put their ballots in.
So essentially what it's saying, and I hope people are understanding what I'm saying here, Is that they were taking 19-inch ballots and printing them on 20-inch paper.
The 20-inch paper was too large, I guess, for these voting machines.
So the voting machines were rejecting them, which means they had to be put in a separate box to be hand-counted later, which nobody was able to track those ballots.
And you have people testifying from inside the Maricopa County election officials' offices saying that there were...
There was a chain of custody, but there was no verification as to how many ballots were sent to the offices in the first place from the precincts.
So at any point along that line, somebody could have showed up with tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands or more ballots and just dropped them in and nobody would have been able to distinguish otherwise.
So that is fascinating, but here's a video of the day when they were trying to get these ballots to go in.

So, or not working when they were trying to be put into these machines.
You have individuals testifying in this trial like here.
Carrie Lake trial, a 25-plus-year cybersecurity expert, testified under oath that using the wrong size ballots on Election Day caused them to be rejected.
So let's go ahead and see what he has to say here.

Based on what you have determined on your physical examination of these ballots, your experience both in the industry as a Certified Forensic Hacking Investigator,
your CISSP, your skills with, I believe you called it IRAP. It's IRA. That's the acronym that does it.
There are different, and this is specifically for technical risk and assessment.
This is one of the issues when I work for the Voting System Test Labs to get All the vendors, I've dealt with over seven of them to my memory, right?
None of them performed it.
The labs didn't perform it.
I eventually convinced one lab to do this because this is vital to when you're doing system testing, let alone security system testing.
And this applies not just to electronic motor systems.
This is to all information systems, all technology.
These are standard engineering principles.
Is there any way you could be wrong about A 19-inch image being placed on 20-inch paper.
No, sir.
I give the technical options that are there.
There are two ways that this can happen.
And based on this system and the controls in place, this could not have been an accident.
And there are only two options.
It would take further investigation, further forensic examination for me to determine exactly which one it was.
Alright, so that's just one clip, but it gives you these technical analysts basically explaining how...
There is no way that there could have been any mistaking it.
They were using too large of paper ballots and they were specifically seemingly giving them to voting precincts that were going to be high turnout Republican precincts where then they were rejected so they had to be hand counted at a later date which what does that do?
That opens all of the doors there could be And that is what the trial is hearing right now, among other things.
There's much more going on as we speak.
Let's hear from the officials themselves who are running the election and making these ballots.
This is going to be an interesting one.
Here is one of the officials who is in charge of manufacturing the ballots, testifying in court about how this all happened and how he was in charge of it.
And just interesting stuff here.

Sir, I want to go back to the earlier question about the 19-inch ballot image being placed on a 20-inch paper.
Did you hear of any reports of that occurring in the 2022 general election?
I did not.
If that occurred...
Would that be a failure of Maricopa County's election process?
I'm not aware of it occurring, and I'd be surprised if there was a ballot-on-demand printer that had a 19-inch ballot on it.
Okay, I understand that, sir.
And the reason why is we did not design a 2022 general election on a 19-inch ballot.
That ballot does not exist.
The only ballot that exists is a 20-inch ballot.
And when you say we designed, who designed the ballot?
Is that outsourced to another company or is that done in-house by Maricopa?
In-house by Maricopa County's staff.
What department would that staff fall under?
Is there a specific name for it?
Our ballot tabulation team.
So it reports to me.
And do you maintain records?
As to the ballot definition that was created for the 2022 general election?
Yes, we have records of all the ballots that were designed.
And so I'll go back to my question again.
If a 19-inch ballot image was put on a 20-inch paper in the 2022 general election, would that be a failure of your election process?
It would, if something like that happened, which I don't know how it would, yes, it would have been a mistake.
Could that have also been a deliberate act?
Again, you're asking me to speculate about things that I have no knowledge of occurring.
So I don't know if it could have been a deliberate act or not.
I don't believe that that occurred.
How involved are you in creating the ballot definition?
So my team does, and then I overview it, and I'll review examples of those.

So, I mean, you're seeing for yourself what this all essentially is.
I mean, it's all a big, complete scam operation they're running, but it's good that we're getting the clips from these trials and it's public, and we're actually seeing them be picked apart on the stand as to how this scam took place.
Now, is it going to end up that this is going to lead to us having the election overturned and Carrie Lake's going to end up winning?
I'm not going to speculate on that yet.
But it does tell you everything you need to know about how fraudulent these elections are and how they scammed this one and how if we have enough surveillance on these elections, we can catch them in the act.
Now, it's going to be telling how the judge rules on all of this, and it's also going to be telling how the Hobbs team continues to mount their defense against this.
But at this point, it looks like they're bringing enough evidence to have this overturned in some form or sense.
Now, I'm not going to tell you that that's going to happen.
I'm not going to be like one of these people out there that says, oh yeah, this is exactly what's coming.
It's possible.
It looks like it could happen.
But we're going to have to wait and see as far as what's going to be happening in the future with that.
So with that, we're going to get into some other stories here.
We're going to jump over to Zelensky arriving in D.C. preparing to tell Congress that the $45 billion in new aid is not enough.
Yes, this is a real headline.
This is not satire.
This isn't the Babylon Bee.

McConnell hopes passing Democrats' $1.7 trillion spending bill is going to prevent country from discovering his role in the coup.
Now this is per Kash Patel, who was on Steve Bannon Tuesday morning discussing the explosive revelations released on Monday on the Deep State's DOJ spying on Representative Devin Nunes' top attorneys.
And I just, I look at this stuff and I think to myself, this post here is so true, right?
It says here, the term conspiracy theorist was started by the CIA after JFK's assassination.
60 years later, we've learned the CIA assassinated JFK, internalized this.
But not only are we internalizing this right now, we're essentially having to come to the realization that everything that happens here, they tell us what they're doing.
They've told us they killed JFK now.
Nothing's happening.
I don't see riots in the streets.
I don't see anything happening.
I don't see people holding these people accountable.
I don't see people going to jail over it.
They told us they spied on Trump illegally.
Again, nobody's been held accountable.
I haven't seen any trials.
John Durham hasn't done anything worth noting.
Nobody's been arrested.
Hillary Clinton's still free.
All these criminals are still free.
Joe Biden's supposedly the president.
Nothing's happened.
We know now with the Twitter files.
The FBI was working to censor U.S. citizens ahead of an election to fraudulently tamper with it, and nothing's happened.
James Comey's not in jail.
Christopher Wray's not in jail.
Half of the FBI and the Department of Justice aren't in jail.
They're still working against us.
So, I'm not trying to say all this to black pill you, because there is the ultimate white pill, which is that God's grace is greater and that we are saved by the grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, but I am saying all of this to show you that we're in the humiliation phase of a communist takeover of our country.
They're telling us in no uncertain terms of the crimes that they are committing against us.
And it's like a bully punching you in the face saying, what are you going to do about it?
They pop you in the face and they say, what are you going to do about it?
Right?
They're beating you up.
They're taking your lunch money.
Our lunch money, I should say.
And by lunch money, I mean the $1.7 trillion that they just signed off on, on a freaking bill that's going to bankrupt our nation.
And you talk about how are we going to get to a cashless society?
Well, it's pretty easy because all the cash that we have in our society is being sent to foreign countries for gender studies programs in Tajikistan.
And...
You know, paying the cocaine addict Vladimir Zelensky to, you know, shoot bombs into Russia to start World War III. So, among many other programs that are just great, border security initiatives that do nothing, they're like Orwellian in the sense that they say one thing and do another.
They're called border security initiatives that are being outlined in this spending bill, but all it does is outline money to be spent on Transporting these people, these illegal invaders, further into our country.
Right?
Not doing anything to stop them.
Not doing anything to secure the border.
So...
So I mean, it's pretty interesting to see how this all is playing out in real time.
And, you know, Thomas Massey puts it here very well, saying 4,155 pages, $1.7 trillion, $45 billion for Ukraine, plus unrelated laws.
Don't tell me you defend democracy if you support one bill once a year that funds everything written behind closed doors by a few insiders with insufficient time to read before voting.
Yeah, but that's how our system works, right?
Isn't that how everything works, though?
I mean, it's pretty sad.
He's a no on the Omnibus, in case you were wondering.
But, again, they're going to approve this.
Spending bill with massive FBI funding to boost, with massive FBI funding boost despite Twitter files revelations.
So, not only is the FBI not being held accountable for the crimes that we're uncovering that they're committing, but they're actually being rewarded.
Just like Kevin McCarthy is being rewarded with a leadership position after he betrayed us throughout the entire run-up to the 2022 election, And through the entire time that he was in the House of Representatives with Trump and then with the child molester Biden.
So it's just fascinating to me how this is how our system has come to.
And I say this without trying to be negative or to bring people down, but, I mean, it is the humiliation phase of the communist takeover.
They're literally trying to make us, bring us to heel, like Hillary Clinton would say.
That's how she talked about black people, but that's how these people in government, in the deep state, in the uniparty, in the never-ending bureaucracy, that's how they look at us as citizens of this country.
We're to be brought to heel.
We're not to be listened to.
We're not to be followed.
We can't be trusted because, I mean...
They believe we're too stupid to know what's good for us.
And maybe they're right for some of the population.
I can see that with the TikTok generation and all these kids who don't know.
They have their heads so far up their butt they can barely see past their colon.
But the fact of the matter is that...
There are people who care, and a lot of the people who care are too busy working, trying to pay the taxes so that they can be embezzled and laundered back to these corrupt politicians and their corrupt crime family mafia-style syndicates that they're running.
So it's almost impossible to understand, except when you see a video like this from Greg Reese that I'm going to play, that it tells you everything you need to know about this, guys.
You know why?
And I'll put it very simply.
It's because this video talks about the cashless society that they're trying to bring, the new world order, one world government that they're trying to install.
And while we're fighting about Joe Biden and everything else, they've succeeded in rolling it out and implementing it.
And we're still sitting here arguing with each other over the crimes that they tell us they're doing to us.
They've told us they spied on Trump.
They told us they planted evidence against him.
And they said, what are you going to do about it?
They've told us they're illegally going after Trump.
They've told us they did the false flag on January 6th.
They've told us...
I mean, it's not a secret...
What?
We know about Ray Epps.
It's not like we don't know they had, you know, dozens and dozens of federal agents sown throughout the crowd that day as agent provocateurs.
It's all being told to us.
So why are they telling it to us?
It's because they want us angry.
They want us upset because then we can't see clearly.
And then they want us fighting over trivial things, which as much as they are important, like Joe Biden's child molestation and bribery and corruption, It's really not as bad as the global one-world government that they're trying to install with a global central bank digital currency that is going to bring on the cashless society that they've predicted since going back to who knows how long.
They've wanted this forever, and they're finally starting to pull it off.

A key component of human life is enlightenment.
The awakening from the darkness of deception into the light of truth.
The so-called Great Awakening has really been going on forever.
And before MAGA and QAnon, the consensus was that the banks were at the top of the criminal pyramid structure.

The ultimate goal that these people have in mind is the goal to create a one-world government.

And it was also commonly discussed that they'll likely use Big Pharma to get us there.
Yes, there have been corrupt empires.
Yes, they manipulate.
Yes, there are secret societies.
Yes, there have been oligarchies throughout history.
And yes, today, in 2002, there is a tyrannical organization calling itself the New World Order, pushing for worldwide government, a cashless society, open borders, total and complete tyranny.
And by creating open borders where there's no national sovereignty and only global bodies that control all the resources, by centralizing and socializing health care, the state becomes God, basically, when it comes to your health, and then by releasing diseases and viruses and plagues upon us, we then basically get shoved into their system.
But now it's as if everyone has just accepted it and found something else to fight about.
Because the cashless society is being rolled out right now, and very few people seem bothered by it.
In November of 2019, right before COVID, the Institute of Politics at Harvard Kennedy School had a live tabletop exercise called Digital Currency Wars.
Which looked at how the United States can continue to leverage economic power in a world of national digital currencies, such as the Chinese digital yuan, which is already heavily competing in trade against the US dollar and seems to be at the forefront of centralized digital currencies.
And it has an expiry date.
If you don't spend it by then, it becomes worthless, so people can no longer save money.
The Bank of International Settlements has announced that the central bank will have absolute control on the rules and regulations and will have technologies to enforce it.
The Central Bank of Brazil is planning to launch their centralized digital currency in 2024.
Israel is about to launch theirs, and the Bank of England is now preparing a UK digital currency.
Italy's new Prime Minister Maloney is speaking out against the cashless society, but she seems to stand alone on the world stage.
In the Federal Reserve's digital currency scheme, it appears that Hedera and Quant will be used on the technology side.
They are already connected to everything.
The cashless society is here, but everyone is talking about Hunter Biden's laptop.
The goal was never to put an old senile puppet into the presidency to run havoc.
The goal was to create a cashless society.
And so while bringing Joe Biden to justice may feel like a victory, the tyrants are still getting exactly what they wanted.
And once it's all said and done, then who will save you?
And if you're like me or you, and you're protesting what they're doing, they can just turn off your chip and you have nothing.

So I think Greg Reese kind of hits the nail on the head there with what we're continually being distracted with and how they want us fighting with one another over, you know, But, you know, at what point do you sit down and say, well, if we don't say something about it, if we don't do something about it, these people are going to keep getting away with these crimes, you know, in perpetuity.
And, yeah, it all becomes kind of like this paradoxical thing, but it doesn't matter because we're going to keep covering the crimes they're committing and keep holding them to account because that's what we have to do.
That's just important, I believe.
So, going further, Mitch McConnell pushing jealous never-Trump-er Mitt Romney to seek re-election, claiming it's important for the Republican Party in the country that he runs again.
And as if that's not bad enough, Mitch McConnell's thrown his weight behind, you guessed it, Kevin McCarthy, so he wants him to be the next speaker as well.
So this goes to show you that there's just so much here that, you know, Marjorie Taylor Greene coming out and supporting Kevin McCarthy, I'm like, what's going on there?
Her argument is essentially that all the never-Kevin people are the never-Trumpers, and it's like, wait, what?
No, it's the opposite.
Kevin McCarthy was anti-Trump.
He was anti-Make America Great Again MAGA. He was anti-America First.
And now he's being rewarded for all of that treachery and betrayal by being nominated the leader of the House?
And Marjorie Taylor Greene is just like, well, we have to, otherwise we don't have representation.
And you're like, we don't have representation if he's there or not!
What does it make sense about that to these people?
I find it hilarious and fascinating when you look at people like Marjorie Taylor Greene who are shilling for the rhinos now and Donald Trump who, with all due respect to him, He's shilling for the rhinos like Kevin McCarthy, which makes no sense to me whatsoever, especially since he was anti-Trump, anti-MAGA, anti...
All this stuff, it's like, well, why do you want him in power again?
This doesn't make any sense.
And I don't have all the answers here, but I will say this.
It's just fascinating to see the same people who are trying to sabotage our movement and have been anti-nationalists, anti-everything across the board.
They're the ones that were told now, oh, well, You know, we've got to put them back in power, so let's reward them for their treachery and backstabbing betrayal.

He gave us three points for supporting Kevin McCarthy.
The first one was he won, which he didn't win anything.
I mean, he may have won his election.
But they're trying to say that he won by getting us a slight majority in Congress when it should have been a landslide blowout and he was the one who withheld funding to a bunch of MAGA and America First Nationalist candidates.
Yeah, that's not really winning.
His second point was like, you know, you don't remember his second point.
It was so forgettable.
And then the third point was, well, we have to do it because otherwise we're going to be in trouble.

Those were his three points to why we should put the traitor Kevin McCarthy in office.
So, I won't get behind these people.
They're all criminals.
And I just think it's worth calling them for what they are.
And another fascinating news story.
They've released Trump's tax returns.
And it's pretty bad, guys.

Let's talk about it.
it let's not hate each other because there was a point it feels like especially kind of before trump maybe where we didn't really hate each other as much as it seems we do today and it does seem like a divide and conquer strategy that's only being exacerbated by things like the internet the fake news the the social programming the the psyops are running against us the false flags they're only out to make it worse
the division is growing and i would love to shrink it and uh to be able to reach out to these people because i want to bring people to christ that's my main goal in life And that's why I do what I do here in this channel.
And that's a great segue into our God's Grace is Greater segment today, which is very profound.
First off, let me just give you guys a little rundown like I did in the beginning quickly and say, when I started doing the four major gospels, I had no idea where I would end up by today.
I started in Matthew, and then I wasn't even sure if we were going to do Mark, Luke, and John yet.
And I was thinking, oh, maybe we do something else, maybe we won't.
So when I finish Matthew, I was like, all right, well, let's just do all four of the main gospels.
And by God's grace, which is greater, and the divine timing that is just, you know, whatever.
It just was the timing.
I don't know.
God's timing is always perfect, right?
We just happen to, on the day before I go on and take my Christmas break to be with family, we just happen to be at Luke chapter 2 of the Gospel of Luke, which is the we just happen to be at Luke chapter 2 of the Gospel of Luke, which is Today we're going to be reading the first 40 verses out of this Luke chapter 2, which tell us about the birth of Jesus.
And I get goosebumps when I think about how great God is and how His timing is so perfect.
And I'm blessed to be able to share this with you.
So...
I don't know what to say other than I'm grateful.
And again, to reiterate what I said earlier, I'm fully aware of all of the things about Christmas and all that stuff.
But let me tell you something that may help you and do yourself a favor, in my opinion.
If you're going to sit around and obsess about some pagan holiday, don't give it the power that they want you to give it.
And don't commercialize Christmas.
Don't tell your kids about Santa.
Santa's just an anagram for Satan.
Let's just be honest here.
Saint Nick, I know, all the whole garbage.
But, let's be honest.
It's not about a tree.
It's not about presents.
Christmas isn't about anything other than God's Son being born and celebrating that miracle.
Now, You can have it any day.
We celebrate his birth every day.
That's what we do as Christians when we truly are in the faith.
And I just think that it is nice to have a time of year where you dedicate a special dedication of time and thought and fellowship toward honoring the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus.
And to me, it really wouldn't matter what day it was as long as we're doing it.
And I believe as a Christian that we don't need holidays or special days to worship God.
That should come as an everyday thing.
And we should be lucky that God's given us time to get to moments where we can have time off to be with family to share in this fellowship toward God.
And I'm going to do my best during this holiday to share the power of this gospel with others.
To just talk and be with family and share in the love that God allows us to have for one another.
And I hope you do the same.
And I hope you don't obsess about politics and arguments over whether you're right about this or that.
That all can come in time.
It all has its place.
And I'm not telling you not to say anything and not to be yourself and to speak the truth.
But I'm saying...
Do yourself a favor and make a special effort to share with your family and your friends and anyone you meet during this Christmas holiday while I'm gone and you're hopefully vacationing or with your family taking time off to share with them.
Talk about the birth of Jesus, but not just the birth, but what it means that he was born.
What it means for us, our eternal lives.
And how powerful and profound that truly is.
And maybe, just maybe, you're going to come to a more powerful and solid place with not only yourself and your belief, but with you and your family and friends and sharing your belief with them.
So, with that being said, let me go ahead and do this Luke chapter 2 verse 1 through 40.
Let's go ahead and read it here.
It says, The
The time came for her to give birth.
Then she gave birth to her firstborn son, and she wrapped him snugly in cloth and laid him in a feeding trough because there was no room for them at the lodging place.
In the same region, shepherds were staying out in the fields and keeping watch at night over their flock.
Then an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified.
But the angel said to them, Don't be afraid, For look, I proclaim to you good news of great joy that will be for all the people.
Today a Savior who is Messiah the Lord was born for you in the city of David.
This will be the sign for you.
You will find a baby wrapped snugly in cloth and lying in a feeding trough.
Suddenly there was a multitude of heavenly hosts with the angel praising God and saying, Glory to God in the highest heaven and peace on earth to people he favors.
When the angels had left them and returned to heaven, the shepherds said to one another, Let's go straight to Bethlehem and see what has happened which the Lord has made known to us.
They hurried off and found both Mary and Joseph and the baby who was lying in the feeding trough.
After seeing him, they reported the message they were told about this child, and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them.
But Mary was treasuring up all these things in her heart and meditating on them.
The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all they had seen and heard, just as they had been told.
When the eight days were completed for his circumcision, he was named Jesus, the name given by the angel, before he was conceived.
And when the days of their purification according to the law of Moses were finished, they brought him up to Jerusalem to present him to the Lord.
Just as it is written in the law of the Lord, every firstborn male will be dedicated to the Lord and offer a sacrifice according to what is stated in the law of the Lord.
A pair of turtle doves or two young pigeons.
There was a man in Jerusalem whose name was Simeon.
This man was righteous and devout, looking forward to Israel's consolation, and the Holy Spirit was on him.
It had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not see death before he saw the Lord's Messiah.
Guided by the Spirit, he entered the temple complex when the parents brought in the child, Jesus, to perform for him what was customary under the law.
Simeon took him up in his arms, praised God, and said, Now, Master, you can dismiss your slave in peace, as you promised, for my eyes have seen your salvation.
You have prepared it in the presence of all peoples, a light for revelation to the Gentiles and glory to your people Israel.
His father and mother were amazed at what was being said about him then, Then Simeon blessed them and told his mother Mary, Indeed, this child is destined to cause the fall and the rise of many in Israel and to be a sign that will be opposed and a sword will pierce your own soul that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.
There was also a prophetess Anna, a daughter of Phanuel of the tribe Asher.
She was well along in years, having lived with her husband seven years after her marriage, and was a widow for 84 years.
She did not leave the temple complex serving God night and day with fasting and prayers.
At that very moment, she came up and began to thank God to speak about him to all who were looking forward to redemption of Jerusalem.
When they had completed everything according to the law of the Lord, they returned to Galilee, to their own town of Nazareth.
The boy grew up and became strong, filled with wisdom, and God's grace was on him.
Now, this is the story of the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus.
And what a great story it is.
We have seen in Luke chapter 1, the angel Gabriel came to Mary and told her she was going to have a baby even though she was a virgin.
That she was going to be blessed by God to have the Son of God in flesh.
The human.
God taking the human form through the Son of Mary.
Now in this part, we see Jesus being born.
Now in those days, Caesar Augustus ordered that there would be a census that would need to take place where everybody had to be counted, namely so that he could take taxation dollars from them.
Because you can't tax people if you don't know they exist.
So the registration took place, and while they were doing it, everyone had to go home to their original town of birth.
So in this scenario, Joseph, who was from the line of David, he had to go to Bethlehem, which is the city of David.
And he was there with his family, and because everybody had come home for this census, basically everything was full.
There was no place for them to stay.
And that's how we get the story of Jesus being in a manger, being wrapped up by his mother after his birth and placed in We're good to go.
And what's fascinating about that is because that cave that would have been the manger in which Jesus laid after his birth would almost be a representation of his future in the fact that he was reborn and he was, you know, returned to life from a cave, from a tomb, as we know, after his sacrifice on a cross.
So I just think that's a fascinating little fact that most people don't know about the manger in which Jesus was born.
Again, God's timing and his, you know, plan being perfect, that's something that we can look at and understand now more clearly.
Then there was the shepherds.
Now the shepherds were visited by angels who came in a great multitude after one angel had come and told them of a savior who was to be born, who they would find in a manger wrapped up in a cloth and laying in a feeding trough.
They told him exactly where he was.
And so the shepherds hearing this knew that there was something great that was going to happen because the angels became multitude and they said glory to God in the highest heaven and peace on earth to people he favors.
Now, why were the shepherds chosen?
A lot of people have speculated on this, but...
What most people have come to understand, I believe, and I think this is a common interpretation and understanding of it, is that the angels were probably chosen because they were the only ones amongst the Jews at the time who We're seen as both...
Well, they were seen as slightly unclean.
And I'll say this.
Why were they seen as slightly unclean?
It was because they were the ones who would end up doing business with both Jew and Gentile alike.
They were kind of forced to do that.
And the way that the Jewish orthodoxy of the day was, was that if you did business or worked with the Gentiles, you were seen as unclean.
This is a part of the Jewish tradition that had been what Jesus essentially was coming to break through.
And we're going to see another part of this where it kind of prophesies Jesus being the Savior to not just the Jews in Israel, but to all, including the Gentiles.
But that's an interesting thing that God seemed to choose the shepherds to send his angels to because they were kind of a representation of Not only the lower class, because they were working with all the Gentiles and the Jews, but also because they were more able to, I think, be humble and accept this into their hearts so they could spread it out into the world.
But it goes on, and it talks about the shepherds leaving.
They hurried off.
They found Mary and Joseph, and they told them about what they had seen.
And I love this part where it says, Mary, when she heard all of this, she treasured all these things in her heart and meditated upon them.
She didn't outwardly probably show this great exuberance to say, oh, you guys saw the angels too?
That's crazy!
No.
She did this incredible thing where she calmly meditated on it and let God speak to her through the shepherds whom he had given this vision to through the angels.
And the shepherds had became basically evangelists themselves after seeing Jesus and seeing these angels going out and glorifying God and praising God and telling all of what they had seen and heard.
So these are kind of the first evangelists, if you will, these shepherds.
Now, Jesus is brought through all of these traditional upbringing customs that you would have gone through as a Jew back in those days, and a part of the process is being named.
And what's interesting about Jesus being named is just like John, when he was named by his parents, Zechariah and Elizabeth, he took the name that the angel Gabriel had given Zechariah and Elizabeth for him.
He didn't have one chosen by his parents.
And in the same way is how Jesus receives his name.
Jesus is given the name that is bestowed upon him by Gabriel the angel who visits Mary and tells her of the birth of Jesus, which is fascinating to me.
But again, it's the confirmation of Jesus being the Messiah.
And this is very interesting as well when you read further into it that There's this guy named Simeon.
He's not really mentioned anywhere else in the Bible as far as I know.
And he's in the temple when Jesus is brought there to go through all of these different purification customs according to the law of Moses as he was being brought up as a Jew.
But again, breaking through the mold to be the Messiah to both Jew and Gentile alike, which is very important.
But it goes on, and to break the old tradition of the Jews at the time, and a lot of the Jews today have carried on those traditions against God's will, against Jesus, and they're going to have judgment from Christ for that, I believe.
But what's fascinating is that there's this man named Simeon in the temple, and as they're there, after they give this, basically this offering, that they're supposed to sacrifice a lamb, but if you can't afford it, if you're poor,
you're allowed to do an offering, a sacrificial offering of a pair of turtle doves, which is why you see, if you guys wonder why the song has a pair of turtle doves in a tree, and I think that one of the songs talks about turtle doves.
I can't remember which one it is.
But if you wonder why turtle doves are a sign that we see around Christmas, it's because Joseph and Mary were less fortunate financially, they weren't wealthy in those days when they had Jesus.
They came from this little hick town, if you will, of Bethlehem, where they essentially had Jesus and were from in Nazareth.
that you see them sacrificing the turtle doves, two young pigeons to symbolize the confirmation of Jesus in this faith.
Now Simeon comes along and he gives this incredible prophetic praise of Jesus, right?
The Holy Spirit was on him and he comes out and he says this incredible, incredible praise about Jesus as he grabs, takes Jesus in his arms after he's being put through these laws of Moses, this confirmation of his faith.
and he's shown this vision by the Holy Spirit of who Jesus really is, the Messiah.
And it's amazing.
And he says this, he says, Now, Master, you can dismiss your slave in peace, because he had been promised that he would see the Messiah before he died.
He says, Because as you promised, for my eyes have seen your salvation, Jesus, you have prepared it in the presence of all peoples, this is where it's important, a light for revelation to the Gentiles and glory to your people of Israel.
So what's important about Simeon there is that he was making it 100% abundantly clear that the Holy Spirit had come and conferred upon him the notion, the idea, the truth, that Jesus was not just going to be a Messiah to the Jews, which is what they expected when they thought of their Messiah coming.
But a Messiah to all.
So it wouldn't matter if you were Jew or Gentile that God had come in flesh to be the God of all, to take our sins away for all.
And I think that's one of the more profound moments that Simeon has there in this whole exchange.
And he told Mary, To this day, and to be a sign that will be opposed, and a sword will pierce your own soul, that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.
He's telling us that Jesus is going to lead to the truth, and that is what he has essentially done.
Finally, there's another woman there, a prophetess named Anna, who basically gives thanks when she sees Jesus and realizes who he is.
Another person who seems to have been endowed with this clarity by the Holy Spirit to see Jesus for who he was as the Messiah.
And I love how it all wraps up here.
Where it says when they completed all these things, they went back to their hometown of Galilee, or they went back to Galilee, to their town of Nazareth, and Jesus grew up filled with wisdom, and God's grace was on him.
And that, ladies and gentlemen, is the story of Jesus' birth.
And that is what we should be celebrating this upcoming week or holiday season for.
It's not about trees.
It's not about Christmas lights and snowmen.
It's not about Santa Claus and chimneys and cookies and milk and presents under the tree.
It's not about the tinsel and the mistletoe and the eggnog and your ants' crazy stories that never seem to end.
No.
It's about this story right here.
So share it with your family and friends.
Give thanks to God for all He has given us, including this amazing gift, which was His Son, who came to live on earth a perfect life, to then give His life for you and me to have eternal salvation.
So, I'm going to go ahead and wrap it with a prayer, and I want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas.
I absolutely, truly want you guys to have a wonderful and lovely time with family and friends.

And we're going to be picking up right with whatever's happened in this crazy world.
Keeping up with the news, but let's say a prayer and then we'll wrap it up.
Lord and Heavenly Father, we give such great thanks for all you've done.
Lord, I pray a special prayer of blessing to all of those out there watching, that they may have a safe and happy and loving and prosperous and awesome celebration of your Son, our Lord Jesus' birth.
That no matter what people try to twist these days into to make it about other things that aren't your son, the gifts and the trees and the lights and all of that, Lord, help us have the clarity and the discernment to see through that,
to see to your glory, to see to your power, to see to your son's amazing story of his life that began in a manger, in a tiny feeding trough, but then ended up being The pinnacle of our lives and the forgiveness of our sins and the ability for us to find eternal salvation.
Let us remember that that is the gift that we are celebrating.
That that is more important than all of the things that are in this world.
You are more important than it all, Lord.
Help us remember that.
Help us believe it.
Help us share it in fellowship with our family and friends who we love.
We give thanks for all you've done, Lord.
Most of all, we give thanks for our eternal salvation through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
May we have a wonderful and blessed Merry Christmas.
And Lord, bless us in the new year.

Well, I hope you guys have a wonderful Christmas.
I am so blessed that you guys are here with me.
Again, I'm going to be back on January 2nd.
That is the day I plan to return.
So for now, I'm going to go and enjoy my family, and we're going to share in fellowship, and we're just going to take some time to be together.
And I hope you guys have that opportunity to do it with your family and friends.
But, with that being said, I am so blessed to have you guys as an audience, and I pray that you all have a wonderful time on your break.
