Hi, welcome to another episode of Just Informed News.
I'm your host, Craig.
Thanks for joining me.
We have a lot to get into here today.
You know, the first thing we're going to talk about is this Elon Musk story.
You guys have probably seen it.
If you haven't, we're going to dive into it.
There's a lot to unpack there.
Plus, we're going to cover a bunch of other stories, including the fact that the CIA is telling us the war in Ukraine...
Very well could go nuclear any time now, which you know there's something they're covering up there.
We're going to talk about what that might be.
Plus, we're going to get into the racist BLM founder and her explanation for why scamming money is a good thing.
And her scam organization that's created so much racial hatred in our nation is just a great, great organization.
We're going to talk about that.
Plus a bunch of other things.
There's so many other news stories, but we're going to get into them all one by one like we always do here.
So with that being said, let's jump into the first story.
Here it is.
Elon Musk wants to buy Twitter for $43 billion and transform it into a private company.
Yeah, this is a real story.
I guess he made a cash offer of $43 billion on the...
The platform itself.
He said he offered to buy 100% of Twitter for $54.20 per share, which is a 54% premium over the day he bought it when he started buying it, and 38% over the day before his investment was publicly announced.
So, I mean, it says Twitter's market valuation is about $37 billion, and Musk's offer to buy Twitter is at about $43 billion, is way over that.
So...
There's been...
The way that this has all happened has been insane.
Alright, so first of all, remember that I said this was going to be a pump and dump and that he really wasn't trying to save the world or whatever.
But now I'm starting to think I was wrong.
But not for the reason you might be thinking that I was wrong.
I think, and this is just me...
That all the accounts he was following and he liked going after and listening to have been deleted one by one by one.
And it's gotten to the point now where he's got so much money and he's such an eccentric billionaire that he's just like, well, why don't I just buy Twitter and then I can put everybody back on the platform that I want to see?
And then I'll just say it's for free speech.
But, you know, who knows?
It could be his altruistic, you know, great intentions, but I'm just not quite seeing that yet.
However, you know, I'll always leave room for myself to be wrong on these things.
However, it's, you know, not looking like it.
Because obviously there are powers that will not let him buy Twitter.
And even if he does buy Twitter, they'll destroy it.
Like I said...
They'll sink their own ship in this one because they can't allow Twitter to get out.
And my other question is, if you have $43 billion, can you not afford to just build another Twitter?
I mean, I know it might take a little bit of time, but it would seem with $43 billion, you could practically build Twitter again, maybe two Twitters.
So, you know, there's so many things that come up, a part of that that kind of make me go, huh?
But here he is.
This is at a TED Talk, I guess, where he was talking about how, you know, the way he feels about this.
Let's hear him speak for a second here.

My strong intuitive sense is that having a public platform that is maximally trusted and broadly inclusive is extremely important to the future of civilization.
But you've described yourself.
I don't care about the economics at all.
Okay, that's cool to hear.
He doesn't care about the economics at all.
I mean, as long as he makes money, I'm sure he doesn't care.
But at the end of the day, if Twitter were run the way it should be run, it probably would be much more successful than it is now.
So he's probably standing to make a lot of money if he were to actually buy Twitter and then restore it to what it originally was.
So the problem is that...
I don't know that this guy's got all the best intentions at heart when it comes to all this stuff.
You have to really look deeply into these issues.
Sometimes you can pull up stuff.
I actually posted a video yesterday.
I don't know if you guys have seen it yet.
But it's actually a video of Elon Musk's...
you know, let's just say his ambitious endeavors over his lifetime and his career.
This was put together by Greg Reese over at InfoWars.
Again, it seems like we're having a lot of Greg Reese on the show, but he does good work.
So it's worth watching.
So here, I'm going to play this clip and then we're going to talk about it.
This is the history of Elon Musk in case you were not fully aware.

Pop culture has touted Elon Musk as some sort of eccentric heavyweight genius with humble beginnings, but this is demonstrably false.
Elon Musk was born in South Africa, where he claims he grew up extremely poor, but his family owned an emerald mine.
As a teenager, Elon would trade emeralds for cash in New York City, and his father bragged how they had so much money we couldn't even close our safe.
Musk claims to have had about $100,000 of student loan debt, but he received a full scholarship to the University of Pennsylvania, where he bought a 10-bedroom frat house with his friend Adeo Resi and ran an illegal nightclub.
The pop culture claim is that Elon has an IQ of 155, but this has never been tested, and after being accepted into Stanford for PhD studies, he dropped out after two days.
After dropping out, Elon began his first business venture with his brother Kimball, Zip2, which was essentially a digital version of the Yellow Pages.
The brothers received tens of thousands of dollars from their parents, and yet Elon denies this.
An associate of Elon's father, Greg Curry, got involved to bring in investors.
But Elon's code was no good, so they had to hire on professional coders to rewrite everything.
Zip2 was then sold for $307 million to Compaq, who later shut it down without ever earning a profit.
Elon made $22 million, bought a $1 million McLaren F1 supercar, which made mainstream news, before he totaled the uninsured vehicle.
Musk then went on to create an online bank, X.com.
He partnered with banking expert Harris Fricker, Edward Ho, and Christopher Payne.
All three ended up leaving the company after accusing Elon of lying to the media about the quality of their product.
Elon claims he founded PayPal.
Before the company was named PayPal, it was known as Confinity.
It was founded in 1998 by Peter Thiel and Max Levchin.
After losing millions of dollars, Elon's X.com was bought by Confinity in a merger in 2000.
All Musk contributed at Confinity was his own power struggle.
He made himself CEO and pushed to change the name to X.com.
The executive team successfully petitioned to fire Musk while he was away on vacation.
Part of Musk's resignation agreement stipulated that all references to founders of the company will be removed from their website, allowing Elon to claim credit, which so far is all he has ever achieved.
Peter Thiel then rebranded the company as PayPal, went public, and sold to eBay for $1.5 billion.
Elon made $180 million from the deal, which he then invested into Tesla, SpaceX, and failed company SolarCity.
Elon falsely claims to be the founder of Tesla.
Tesla was founded in 2003 by Mark Tarpening and Martin Eberhard, who developed the Tesla Roadster.
When Tesla Motors began looking for venture capital, they approached Elon Musk, who had the fake credibility as PayPal's co-founder.
Musk joined with the condition that he be named chairman of the board.
In emails, Musk was upset that the media was not giving him credit for Tesla Motors and went after Martin Eberhard, replacing him as CEO. He then forced Eberhard out of the company and rewrote the company's history to have himself listed as an original co-founder.
Martin Eberhard, the man behind the Tesla Roadster, was promised the first Roadster off the assembly line.
But Musk screwed him over on that as well and sent that car into space.
You can tell it's real because it looks so fake, honestly.
So who is Elon Musk?
Elon describes his father as being an evil, abusive man.
His father, Errol Musk, has been accused of being a pedophile and fathered a child with his stepdaughter, who is 42 years younger than him.
This spoiled, narcissistic failure, son of accused pedophile, wants to put computer chips in everyone's brain so that we can merge with artificial intelligence.
His girlfriend is now bragging how this could all lead to a communist utopia, And strangely enough, former Nazi and head of NASA, Wernher von Braun, predicted a man named Elon would conquer Mars in a 1952 novel that he wrote.
Which is odd, because NASA has partnered with Elon's SpaceX to work towards colonizing Mars.
Elon Musk, like everything else in today's modern society, is a fraud, a fake genius, just like fake philanthropist Bill Gates and his fake vaccines.

Here's a pro tip for dealing with the mainstream media and all of pop culture.
Assume it's a lie and research everything.
Yeah, so, I mean, you know, I didn't know all that.
I mean, I knew parts of it, but I didn't know the whole story in its entirety, and I'd kind of forgotten parts, like, especially the part about his father having a baby with his stepdaughter.
It's like, wait, what?
So, you know, if you don't know all those things about Elon Musk, then you may be like, oh, okay, Elon Musk is a good guy.
He's trying to save us all.
But maybe, maybe, and just I'm going out on a limb here, he's an eccentric billionaire trying to enrich himself further, understanding the economics that he says he doesn't care about, about what would happen if he were to, say, buy Twitter, reinstate everyone, and that it would become a more popular platform.
He'd make a lot of money.
I don't know.
I mean, maybe that's just my crazy conspiratorial mind here not wanting to give the benefit of the doubt here, but, you know, I don't know.
You can see for yourself, though, that there's definitely a lot of forces out there trying to keep this from actually happening.
Here's one example of it.
Vanguard acquired more stock and went above Elon Musk as far as the top shareholder.
Now they own about 10% and Elon owns about 9%.
It says here, Elon got the big boys nervous with his Twitter takeover attempt.
Vanguard moved in real quick to make themselves the biggest shareholder of Twitter, overtaking Elon.
And the companies that you see listed on here, I mean, you're talking about Morgan Stanley, you're talking about BlackRock, you're talking about all these big, big corporations, including Vanguard.
These corporations, and one of the biggest ones, shareholders, is...
The Saudi royal family.
Yeah.
Remember Prince Awaleed bin Talal?
The guy that we basically have established was behind the Las Vegas massacre, the biggest shooting in U.S. history that occurred in October of 2019, I believe, in Las Vegas.
Where it was an actual, apparently according to reporting from people like Patrick Halley and others, that what happened in Las Vegas, if you guys don't remember that, is that you have the Saudi Crown Prince, right?
Mohammed bin Salam, who was there on, I guess, a trip or whatever.
And it took place in the Mandalay Bay, which is co-owned.
The top floors is the Four Seasons, which is co-owned by Bill Gates and Prince Ali bin Salam, where it seems as though there were teams of Antifa and ISIS fighters who were brought in to go do an assassination attempt against Mohammed bin Salam.
And then...
When that failed, it turned into a mass shooting that was then turned into a cover-up, which is why President Trump got on a plane very shortly thereafter and went over to Saudi Arabia to do that dance with the sword you saw him doing because he had to make sure that the Saudis knew that he was on the side of the crown royal prince.
And this is, of course, after we saw everything happening with Prince Ali being detained inside of his own country.
So it's all a crazy situation here, and I'll get to how that all connects in a second here.
But with that being said, here, look at this.
We have Max Boot, of course, coming out saying, He's frightened by the impact on society and politics.
If Elon Musk acquires Twitter, he seems to believe that on social media anything goes.
For a democracy to survive, we need more content moderation, not less.
Do these people, I mean, they hear themselves, right?
How absurd and ridiculous that sounds.
They're like, the only way democracy succeeds is if we can shut everyone up who disagrees with us.
It's like, no, that's not democracy, dude.
That's actual communism.
You're an actual fascist authoritarian.
And of course, the Washington Post, you know, Democracy Dies in Darkness, says, Musk's appointment to Twitter's board shows that we need regulation of social media platforms to prevent rich people from controlling our channels of communication.
Ha!
I don't know if they actually understood the irony there of a company that's owned by an eccentric tech billionaire named Jeff Bezos making a proclamation that rich people should not be allowed to control channels of communication.
Not sure if that actually lands with them.
But this is the story I was talking about.
Anti-Trump Saudi prince moves to stop Elon Musk's liberation of Twitter.
So apparently there was a back and forth here where the Prince Al-Walid Talal said, I don't believe that the proposed offer by Elon Musk, $54.20, comes close to the intrinsic value of Twitter, given its growth prospects.
Being one of the largest long-term shareholders of Twitter, the Kingdom, KHC, and I reject this offer.
Hmm, interesting.
And Elon Musk replied that basically he was saying, like, how much of the controlling stake does the...
Saudi royal family have in Twitter.
What do they think about journalistic free speech and all that stuff?
I don't think he ever responded.
But this is the same guy, remember, who tweeted to real Donald Trump, his account when he was still on Twitter, you're a disgrace not only to the GOP, but to all America.
Withdraw from U.S. presidential races, you will never win.
That was in 2015, and you saw what happened shortly thereafter.
Again, everything that's happened and is happening right now is definitely...
It's a war.
And definitely an information war right now.
And whether or not Elon's got the best intentions at heart, I mean, if in the process of him making all this money it helps a little bit, okay.
I don't know.
I mean, we don't have a whole lot of options.
We don't have a whole lot of eccentric billionaires with hundreds of billions of dollars sitting around in cash that they can use to buy up these platforms and turn them into somewhat more free speech than what they were before.
But...
I don't even think that him buying it would do the things that everybody says it's going to do, unless maybe I'm wrong.
He's going to buy it and then reinstate everybody's account?
I don't know.
I don't believe it for one second, but we'll see what happens.
I mean, it's definitely worth watching.
But you know that they're all nervous and they're all afraid.

Will you soon have to pay to use Twitter?
If Elon Musk gets his way, maybe.
He's trying to buy the platform and here's what he said about it just moments ago at the TED conference in Vancouver.
Twitter has become kind of the de facto town square.
It's just really important that people have both the reality and the perception that they're able to speak freely within the bounds of the law.
And, you know, so one of the things that I believe Twitter should do is open source the algorithm.
Musk is offering a premium for Twitter, $54.20 a share.
Right now, Twitter stock costs about $46.
He's offering a premium.
He's also talking a little trash.
In a letter to Twitter's chairman, he said he doesn't have confidence in the social media's current...
Management structure and that he, Elon Musk, can, quote, unlock its potential.
It's so tricky, Kara, because there are real and devastating consequences for using that platform to lie.
And we've seen it happen.
I wonder, you know, when talking about this, it's kind of funny.
I mean, are these people serious?
There are real and devastating consequences to people lying?
Yeah, like you do every single day?
And how you're promoted with your lies and your fake news and your propaganda BS? Oh no, go on.
Tell us more about how dangerous it is.
Funny how Elon Musk wants to buy it, but there are massive life and globe altering consequences for just letting people run wild on the thing.
Yes, 100%.
But that's Facebook is really where the real action is in that.
So this is a very small company.
It has an outsized influence because media people like it, politicians, world leaders, and Elon Musk.
So Elon Musk is going to destroy the world by buying it.
Of course, they're in panic mode because they are the criminals.
But now, this is another thing that tells you he might be on to something here, and as soon as you saw this, you knew something was breaking.
As Elon Musk offers to buy the rest of Twitter, a legal source tells Fox Business that the SEC and the Justice Department have launched what he described as a joint investigation into a myriad of Musk regulatory issues, primarily involving Tesla.
Oh, I see.
When they threaten your control of the narrative, you've got to hit them in the pocketbook, and you've got to use your thugs and goons over at the DOJ and at the SEC to go after them.
Now, again, I'm not saying that Elon's this great guy, but even if he is some eccentric kind of scammy billionaire who's trying to make a lot of money...
I don't think that this is the way that you're supposed to control a society.
I mean, this is just strong-arm, jack-boot-thug tactics where they're like, oh, you want to buy something that we don't want you to buy?
Okay, well, now we have open investigations into your company and we're going to cripple your ability to make money in the future.
You know, I don't know what Elon Musk is.
I think he's kind of a wild surprise.
You know, it's kind of like the, what's that called?
The guy, you don't know what he's going to do.
You know?
So, I don't know.

Kind of going off of what we were just talking about, Elon Musk responds to Saudi Prince who rejected offer to buy out Twitter.
Where he actually says, responding, interesting, just two questions if I may.
How much of Twitter does the kingdom own directly and indirectly?
And what are the kingdom's views on journalistic freedom of speech?
Well, okay.
This is the thing though.
The fact of the matter is that they have literally worked tirelessly to destroy this country from within.
These factions, the Saudi royal family, the George Soros, the Rothschilds, they're all working together.
And these are the same people that own the corporations like BlackRock, and they have tentacles and everything, right?
So remember, these people want to destroy our free nation, and that's something we should always be very, very worried and skeptical of and oversight.
So, yeah, let's just get into the next one here.
Following her husband's appearance at the Grammys, Ukraine's First Lady has granted an interview to Vogue magazine regarding her life under siege.
Russian Special Forces cannot locate the Zelensky's, but Trevor Noah and Anna Wintour can.
Don't ask questions, trust the science.
Yeah.
I'd say it's a fair way to put it.
It's like, how is this so difficult?
These guys are giving Western media outlets primetime interviews and Russia can't do anything about it?
Or Russia can, and they're afraid to because they don't want to start the conflict, even stoke the conflict even further.

But then it is worrying when you see stories like this.
Now, I'm not saying that this story is true.
This is from Veterans Today.
And what they're talking about is how there's a total news blackout as a U.S. general has been captured leading Azov Nazis in Maripool.
This is from April 6th.
This is from about a week ago.
What it talks about here is that there's a NATO Internet-wide national security letter that's been issuing blocking of all reporting of the alleged capture of an American general in Maripool.
Our sources on the ground report that the last two helicopters trying to evacuate foreign VIPs from Maripool were shot down this morning.
They were sent on a suicide mission to collect Lieutenant General Coutier...
It says who was, we are told, hiding in a huge industrial complex with some special forces staffers and about 30 Ukrainian army, not Azov soldiers.
This hour's old story from TAS is below.
So you go through the story and it becomes very obvious that there is definitely, I believe, boots on the ground from both the United States and other NATO ally countries inside of Ukraine as we speak, including apparently generals who have been, you know, trapped or captured.
Look, I don't know what to tell you, but when you see a story like that, and then you put it next to a story like this, you start to really understand what's going on.
The CIA director says it's unwise to discount the possibility of Russia using its nukes.
Huh.
So, effectively, what we've seen over the past, I don't know, however many weeks this has been ongoing, what, a month almost, or maybe, yeah, around that, a little bit more.
You can tell, obviously, that this conflict is a part of the proxy war that's being fought, but it's not even a proxy war anymore.
It's just a war that we're not being told about.
And Russia could use its nukes.
I believe that that's very possible.
If they feel like there's no other choice, they will.
Just as we would in the same situation.
So I just fail to understand how this is going to lead anywhere good, except to draw the attention away from things happening inside of our own country like this right here.
The unstated scandal the CIA collected info on President Trump.
This is from February 15th, but it's good to remind ourselves of this, and this is a great write-up by Technofog.
This is why the CIA doesn't want us to say, look here, look at Russia, Ukraine, look at us!
We've known for a long time now that these people inside the CIA were spying on Trump while he was the president.
And they were facilitating it.
They were facilitating it.
Right?
So I think, ultimately, at the end of the day, what we're going to have to see is stuff like this get pushed even further out of the narrative as things continue to escalate in Ukraine, and they keep giving us the fear-mongering and telling us that the whole world is going to come to an end.

We're coming on.
So we're hesitant to take up the story partly because it seemed on the surface so complicated, but when you dig in a little bit, it's not so complicated.
They were spying on Trump as a candidate and as the President of the United States from the White House?
Why is this not the biggest story of the year?
Right.
It's an enormous national security scandal.
I hear people comparing it to Watergate, and it does not compare to Watergate at all.
What we're talking about when we talk about the executive office of the president, this is some of the most secure communications that we have in the United States.
And the fact that these were being tapped...
The idea that these were under surveillance.
We know certainly the DNS systems, and it may be more data as well.
We don't know that yet.
But the idea that the Oval Office and other important offices in the White House were under surveillance by political operatives is extraordinary.
It's shocking, and I'm talking to people who were investigating this on the Hill for several years, and they're shocked.
Because I think you described it precisely right.
It's more than a political story.
It's a national security story.
And the irony here is Hillary Clinton shrieks about hacking servers and Russia spying on the DNC when people acting on her behalf are literally spying on the President of the United States in the White House.
So, like, if she can do it, why can't everyone do it?
Honestly.
Well, yeah, I mean, this is an enormous issue, actually, because, again, all we know so far is that they had access to this data.
Did bad foreign actors have access to this data as well?
Did they know what was going on?
Because, again, this is a target of every intelligence service around the world and has been since there's been a White House.
So, again, it's extraordinary, and the idea that Hillary Clinton...
That we've been living in the psyche of this deranged and depraved Herodin for five years.
And now we see, we understand even more the scope and depravity of this operation.
It's terrible for the country.
Well, you know, it really is.
And by the way, if Trump's name wasn't in this story, I think people would feel free to admit it.
I don't care whose name is it.
They were doing this to the current president, whom I despise.
I would still think it was a terrible thing, because it is.

Alright, so, you know, that's something we've known for a while now and it's not like a big surprise, but it does remind us that, you know, when the CIA says something, it's for a reason.
This is going to conveniently switch to the narrative, and that's, you know, what they want.
But then they also want this.
Dr.
Fauci is praising China and saying, you use lockdowns to get people vaccinated.
Oh, really?
Really.
Let's watch Fauci tell us all about it.
How concerning is the outbreak in China?
We see the lockdown in Shanghai, and the State Department now ordering families out, all non-essential workers, out of Shanghai.
Well, China has a number of problems, two of which are that their complete lockdown, which was their approach, the strictest lockdown that you'd never be able to implement in the United States, although that prevents the spread of infection.
And remember early on, they were saying, and I think accurately, that they were doing better than almost anybody else.
But lockdown has its consequences.
You use lockdowns to get people vaccinated so that when you open up, you won't have a surge of infections because you're dealing with an immunologically naive population to the virus because they've not really been exposed because of the lockdown.
The problem is that the vaccines that they've been using are not nearly as effective as the vaccines that are used in the United States, the UK, EU and other places.
Oh, okay.
Yeah, that makes sense, right?
Dr.
Fauci wants to use the lockdowns to get people vaccinated.
Well, of course, that makes total sense.
Put people under house arrest until they take a forced medical experimentation in their body.
Yeah, why not?
I mean, that's exactly what they're doing in China.
Why shouldn't they bring it here?
Fauci?
This guy's a criminal and he knows it.
We all know it.
But then, you know, again, I'm still going to stand in staunch opposition to this recent promotion of Dr.
Oz as being a candidate that Trump has endorsed.
I don't understand it.
Here Dr.
Oz is talking about the Chinese communist lockdown and how we probably should bring it here.
How about watch this?
And the Chinese numbers have dropped dramatically, which is fantastic news.
And it's also valuable for us to understand why they were able to do that.
If you look inside of Wuhan province, they had a catastrophe.
But outside the province, which of course they quarantined in the largest movement of its nature ever, 60 million people blocked in that space.
But the rest of the country was relatively spared.
They didn't have the big spikes, the huge crises that Wuhan experienced, and it took the country to a very different direction.
We just have to copy what they did, take their blueprint and repeat it here in this country, and we started that aggressively over the last week.
So is it too late right now for the U.S. to adopt those policies?
I mean, has it been too late in maybe adopting the lockdowns, the curfews like we're seeing in New Jersey?
I don't think it's too late.
I think we did it the nick of time.
It's probably a couple days of pain that we're going to go through where we really can't influence what happens this week.
For example, New York City, where I'm sitting now, the governor said he expects there to be a thousand cases here.
So last week we had several dozen.
But I think that we, from now, will start to see the benefits of what many would call draconian actions, shutting down all public gatherings, limiting groups to initially 500, then 250, now we're down to 50, which is probably the right size.
And people have a newfound awareness of the seriousness of this.
Okay.
Yeah.
No, because that's a great guy to put in office.

I understand that you want to sit in your house with a copy machine and make copies of these ballots so you can go stuff the boxes and then we can have 3am drop offs with 100,000 vote swings in favor of the Democrats, pretty much 100% to none.

I lived in an apartment complex for a while here.

There were homeless people that went through the dumpsters every day.
And they were collecting papers.
And it was right around the time of an election where I got, just in my one individual unit, I got in my mailbox approximately, I would say, between...
Four to six, maybe seven different individuals who were prior tenants of that property in that apartment that I was in received mail-in ballots.
So, of course, it would be illegal for me to take those ballots and use them to vote for whoever I wanted, but I'm going to go ahead and guess that the homeless people collecting the ballots out of the dumpster were probably not going to be taking them to be recycled, if you know what I mean.
They were probably going to be used for nefarious purposes, which is why the whole electoral system in California is broken, and which is why now our national electoral system has been broken, irreverable.
I'm not even going to use the word because I can't say it right now.

Either way, irrevocably changed.

I don't know why that was a tongue twister for me.

I'm not sure exactly what you're seeing here, except there's cartel violence, and they blockaded one of the borders where we get a majority of the produce that we get from Mexico, which produces a large amount.
Between California and Mexico, most of the country gets fed.
So I would say that that's very dangerous with what's going on there, but it makes perfect sense given what you see coming down the pipeline.
The supply chain issues are really just going to be a symptom of a much larger catastrophic crisis.
You know, deterioration inside of our system.
And this is just going to be another one that we're going to see expand further.
And hopefully, if you guys have been listening to me for a while, you'll know I've been saying go out, don't panic buy, but buy a little extra.
Stock up on things that last long.
You know, make sure you have everything you need in case you couldn't get groceries for a week or whatever.

One of the sponsors, Wes Allen, a lawmaker here, he tells me that this is about protecting children and that this is about making sure that people don't make decisions to take any sort of benefits.

7 to 20.
And it talks about waiting for the Lord at first.
Let's read it.
It says here, Brothers, take the prophets who spoke in the Lord's name as an example of suffering and patience.
See, we count as blessed those who have endured.
You have heard of Job's endurance and have seen the outcome from the Lord.
The Lord is very compassionate and merciful.
Now, above all, my brothers, do not swear either by heaven or by earth or with any other oath.
Your yes must be yes and your no must be no, so that you will not fall under judgment.
Is anyone among you suffering?
He should pray.
Is anyone cheerful?
He should sing praises.
Is anyone among you sick?
He should call for the elders of the church, and they should pray over him after anointing him with olive oil in the name of the Lord.
The prayer of faith will save the sick person, and the Lord will restore him to health.
If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another so that you may be healed.
The urgent request of a righteous person is very powerful in its effect.
Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, yet he prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and for three years and six months it did not rain on the land.
Then he prayed again, and the sky gave rain, and the land produced its fruit.
My brothers, if any among you strays from the truth and someone turns him back, let him know that whoever turns a sinner from the error of his way will save his life from death and cover a multitude of sins.
So, one purpose of, you know, there's so many things to unpack here, but I just want to talk about a few things that stood out to me when reading through these verses.
The first thing is, what we're called to do, right?
What are we called to do?
It says, be patient in waiting for the Lord's coming.
So we cannot just start, you know, jumping to conclusions that the Lord's not going to come and save us and help us through this time of heartache or affliction or, you know, having a bad health situation or whatever it is.
And that's probably one of the most difficult things to do.
When you're calling out to God to say, God, when are you going to come and answer the prayer I've been saying every single day?
I've been calling out to you every day.
I'm hoping that you answer this prayer.
But what it says here is you have to look at the farmer.
See how they wait for the rains to come, the early and the late rains?
And then they wait patiently for their crop to yield its harvest?
That's what we have to do.
We have to understand that the process of cultivating our spirit to become closer to God is really a process that takes patience a lot more than most other things.
And us being able to understand that not everything is going to get fixed in the way that we want, exactly how we want, when we ask God immediately.
And it might, if God sees fit that it is possible or it needs to happen at that time, But most likely it's going to take a long time and it's going to take hard work and it's going to take dedication.
It's going to take you to do things like it says here.
It says above all, do not swear either by heaven or by earth with any other oath.
Your yes must be yes and your no must be no so that you won't fall under judgment.
Right?
Remember what it's saying.
It's saying that we have to be honest and truthful with what's going on inside our hearts.
Not just with ourselves but with our family and friends and especially with God.
We must come to God with an open and sincere heart and lay it all on the table and just tell Him everything that is on our heart and that will immediately, I believe, in most cases, lift a weight off your shoulder because you'll have confided in God and God will hear your genuine, earnest call for help.
But then also, it can lead to, over time, with patience, you fixing whatever that problem is, you overcoming that affliction, you coming out with a greater endurance from having suffered through it.
And then it says we have to pray.
And that's what a part of the honesty comes from, is that we have to be honest in our prayer.
It says here we need to confess our sins to one another.
I mean, as it's written here, there was an analysis that broke down well of that verse.
It's verse 16.
It says here, one purpose of confession is to isolate the offense, recognizing it as sin, and calling it what it is.
Until the sin is confessed, it cannot be forgiven.
Meaning, we have to go and confess our sins as we commit them to God.
And we have to be honest with each other if we make mistakes.
You know, ask for help.
Don't be afraid to be honest with your family or friends about things you're going through in your life so that you can get help.
But always temper that by saying that we have to go to God first.
And then we can go and we can talk and God will hopefully give you the wisdom on how to talk to your family and friends about anything you're going through right now.
You're not alone.
You're not alone because A, God is with you, always.
As long as you are going to God, God will be going to you.
And B, you know, whatever your system or structure is, if you have family or friends or whatever it may be, Even you could write me an email.
If you don't have anyone to talk to at all, I'll listen.
I'll try my best to give you an answer.
I'm not going to say that I have all the answers, but I'll do my best.
I think you just need to know you're not alone.
And that whatever you're going through, God is going to pull you through it.
And it says finally, that if any among you strays from the truth and someone turns him back, let him know that whoever turns a sinner from the error of his way will save his life from death and cover a multitude of sin.
So, even if you're in a position to help somebody in that way, if you're not the person who's being afflicted, if you know the person who's being afflicted, maybe you can go to them and say, hey, if you open your heart up and talk to God about this and let Him speak to your heart, I can help you.
I'll do everything I can to be there for you.
I'll be a support system for you.
I'll try to pull you out of the darkness, out of the affliction, out of the pain.
I mean, however that works in your life, please know that that's what we're called to do.
And if you are one of the people who does that, remember what it says here, you will save their life and you will cover a multitude of sin just by helping one person.
Because like Jesus said in the parable of the 99, the shepherd leaves the flock to find the one lost sheep.
And he rejoices when he finds the one lost sheep, knowing that in finding that lost sheep, he has done this great thing in saving a soul.
And in that parable, it's talking about saving a soul.
Because it's far more valuable to save somebody who...
I don't want to get into the value of it, but it's just as valuable, I should say, to save somebody who is lost as it is to help people who are already found, right?
And in a lot of ways, it can be even more powerful.
And like it says here, you can save a life and cover a multitude of sins.
So that's my message to all of you out there.
I hope you take it and share it and make sure you live this way in your life so that you can help others and help yourself and become closer to God, most importantly of all.
So let's go ahead and end this with a prayer and then we'll wrap it up.
Dear Lord and Heavenly Father, thank you so much for this day.
Thank you for all your many blessings.
We pray, Lord, that all of these things that we have seen and read here and learned in the Scripture today, that you'll help us enact those in our lives, whether it's just giving us an ability to be honest with you and what we need in our lives and what affliction we're facing, or it's us being able to help others who are facing that affliction with your guidance and your wisdom in our hearts.
We pray that you'll just come and show us what it means to live lives for you and help us in our prayer when we come to you openly, Lord.
And we just pray for everybody out there who needs you, Lord, that you'll come in their hearts and show them the way forward.
We thank you for this day and every day.
