Jim Fetzer hosts Fred Smart and Mick Grady to dissect President Trump's paused "Project Freedom" in the Strait of Hormuz, where Iran expanded control following Gulf Arab backlash. They allege corruption involving insider trading by White House figures and claim the war was sold by Benjamin Netanyahu despite CIA Director John Radcliffe's skepticism. The discussion shifts to a proposed "Declaration of Independence for Illinois" against judicial profiteering, conspiracy theories regarding the Boston Marathon bombing as a drill, and assertions that the U.S. operates under corporate admiralty law rather than the Constitution, urging listeners to use the "Liberty Atlas" app to fight this alleged dictatorship. Southern Lebanon and Strait Control00:15:20
Not just that, you know, I need someone.
I was young, so much younger than today.
Never needed any violence, help me in any way.
I'm all now these days, I've got nothing else, so self assured.
My husband in the channel, I go through the door.
Help me if you can, I'm feeling down.
This is Jim Fetzer, your host on The Raw Deal, right here on Revolution Radio Studio B.
This 8th day of May 2026, I'll be joined the second hour by my special guest, Fred Smart.
And Mick Grady, we begin with several significant developments.
Trump has paused Project Freedom due to backlash from Gulf Arab states.
Here's antiwar.com reporting.
NBC News Wednesday said Trump quickly ended the U.S. military operation to guide commercial ships through the strain due to backlash from U.S. Gulf Arab allies.
The report said the abrupt reversal came after Saudi Arabia was caught off guard by Trump's announcement of what he dubbed Project Freedom.
And Riyadh informed the U.S. that it would not allow the U.S. military to fly aircraft from Prince Sultan Air Base or fly through Saudi Air Base to support the effort.
Israel's I-24 reported Thursday, citing Gulf sources, Saudi Arabia would restrict U.S. military access until the U.S. Provide proper protection from Iranian attacks.
During the short lived Project Freedom, the UAE came under missile and drone attack, and the U.S. downplayed the attacks and did not respond.
The Wall Street Journal reported later Thursday, yesterday, that both Saudi Arabia and Kuwait restricted U.S. access due to U.S. downplaying the attacks on the United Arab Emirates, but that the Gulf countries have since reversed the restrictions, and the U.S. may.
Restart Project Freedom.
Here's yet another report, this time from Western Journal.
Trump halts Project Freedom in the Strait of Hormuz at the request of other countries.
Two days after President Donald Trump's Africa opened the Strait of Hormuz began, it has been put on pause.
Trump explained Tuesday evening, post on Truth Social, and suspending the Operation Trump Project Freedom is acting.
On the request of Pakistan and other countries.
Trump also noted his move was based on the tremendous military success we've had during the campaign against the country of Iran.
Why doesn't he call it the Islamic Republic?
And additionally, the fact that great progress has been made toward a complete and final agreement with representatives of Iran.
We shall see.
Meanwhile, and this seemed to be extremely important.
Putin and China have just sent a devastating message to Trump about the war on Iran with Colonel McGregor.
Just as reports started swirling today that Iran and the United States were on the verge of some kind of peace talk framework, is that true?
We'll unpack that in a moment.
It's not, we don't know.
If you believe that, though, and if you believe that there was some sort of a peace talk framework being floated around, and that Axios was reporting early this morning that that was the case, then suddenly Israel decides to launch a new round of massive bombing campaigns against Beirut, Lebanon, hitting densely populated neighborhoods, specifically apartment complexes.
This is an example right here on your screen of what this looked like as people were trying to dig through the rubble to find loved ones.
There seems to be, though, a history of this happening, doesn't there?
The United States approaches some kind of peace framework, maybe, and then suddenly Israel decides to launch a new round of strikes, scuttling those plans.
Here are just some of the devastating images.
You can hear the voices as these attacks ring down on southern Beirut over the last few hours.
Watch.
Meanwhile, Iran has expanded its control over the Strait of Hormuz, which runs contradictory to the stories that you're hearing from the White House.
The president's saying that they control the Strait of Hormuz.
It's like a steel wall, as he described it.
The United States, there's never been a better blockade in the history of the world, if you listen to President Trump and Pete Hegsef.
So, what is it?
Well, according to Professor Pape, this morning, most are missing what really happened yesterday, he writes.
Iran expanded its control of Hormuz, threatening that new UAE pipeline that evaded earlier, excuse me, that.
The existing one that evaded earlier attacks, cutting oil, et cetera, even more, Iran gained more power, he says.
And friend of the show, Rick Sanchez, explained it perfectly using this big map, but I think he lays out exactly what happened yesterday that really no one else is talking about.
Watch.
What we wanted to do was show you the expansion of the new Strait of Hormuz area as it's now being contained by the Iranians.
For them, this is pivotal, right?
This is their ace in the hole.
They have control of the Persian Gulf.
And now, because of what they say are the United States' actions, they've actually expanded the control of the Persian Gulf.
And there's also a tactical reason why they did this.
I want to show you something now.
See that city there, Fujairah?
That's where one of the main oil fields is for the UAE.
Now, you see that black line that's going from there all the way to there?
See that black line?
That is an oil pipeline.
And that pipeline essentially is the UAE's way of getting oil out without having to worry about traveling through the Strait of Hormuz, because the exit for that pipeline was outside of the Strait of Hormuz.
So what the Iranians have now done is they've expanded the Strait of Hormuz area that they are in control of to go beyond the point where Fujairah is.
And that's extremely significant because it means now that they control even more of the output.
Of the hydrocarbons, the oil, the LNG, the fertilizer, all the stuff that's coming out of this region, and most particularly the most important region of all, which is the UAE.
So, very interesting there.
We want to bring in Colonel Douglas McGregor now to talk more about all these latest developments.
Colonel, great to see you.
Thank you for joining us here on the show.
I guess maybe we should start with, before we get to the latest with the Strait of Hormuz and any kind of peace talks or whatever's going on there, the last few hours in southern Lebanon and Israel's move there.
You have pointed out before there was really never, I guess, a ceasefire at all.
What do you make of this latest attack?
Israel, when it entered southern Lebanon, committed to the wholesale elimination of Hezbollah.
And they knew that in order to do that, you would have to go in and essentially conduct a scorched earth operation.
Well, they did it, but it didn't work.
And the problem is that Hezbollah retreated northward and to some extent into the mountains that border the region.
And so Israel has got to go in and finish the job.
If they don't, their perception is that Hezbollah will return.
And so this is now going to be permanently annexed territory.
And that's simply a strategic reality for the Israelis.
It's sort of like the Golan Heights.
You can't give it up.
If you do, you put yourself at risk.
The Israelis take the same position on southern Lebanon.
And of course, this has the salutary effect of making any sort of arrangements with Iran impossible for the United States.
Well, can they do it, though?
Can they take over all of southern Lebanon?
Because usually when they invade Lebanon, the Israeli soldiers leave in body bags.
It's very dangerous for them.
Do they all of a sudden have the military might for this?
I think they do, especially if they're willing to carpet bomb the whole region.
I think they'll level everything.
If you want to hold southern Lebanon, you've got to make it yours.
How do you make it yours?
You drive out the population, you destroy.
Any possibility for that population to ever return.
I mean, this is sort of the Gazification of southern Lebanon.
And that's their solution.
They've been dealing with the Hezbollah problem since 1982.
And everybody forgets that Hezbollah was brought into existence actually by the Israelis themselves.
They saw this as a counterbalance to the Palestinian Authority.
It's become a monster they can't control.
The other thing you just said there is that any time that we're trying to have discussions or talks with Iran, this happens suddenly.
So, what do you make of the reporting this morning that there was some sort of a framework of peace that would have kept nuclear ambitions tamped down for 12 years, et cetera, et cetera?
This framework that was being unfolded this morning, and someone shorted the oil market once again this morning and made tens of millions of dollars before this Axios report came out.
Convenient that that report came out and somebody made a lot of money off of that.
Anyway, your thoughts on the potential peace talks here and Israel's intervention?
I'm waiting for someone to trace all the phone calls from the White House before and after these announcements because I'm convinced that there's somebody in the White House that's well aware of what's coming and they're taking advantage of it.
That's just a comment on corruption.
I don't think we've ever had this much corruption this blatant in our history.
I could be wrong, but that's what it looks like to me.
Anyway, I think it's fair to say right now that whatever they claimed was going on probably wasn't.
I don't see much evidence for it.
I think we're very close to launching again another air and missile offensive against Iran.
And again, I don't know that the president sees any alternative to this.
I think there is, but I don't think he does.
And he's not prepared to announce his imminent surrender, which is effectively what he'd have to do for the Iranians.
It's kind of interesting.
A few weeks ago, he was demanding unconditional surrender from the Iranians.
Right now, the Iranians have made it very difficult for him to extricate himself and us from the Persian Gulf disaster without doing effectively the same thing.
The police officer at the scene told me to never sue the driver who crashed into me after my car accident.
I took his advice.
About 3,400 people died, and of that number, 400 were policemen.
Why were they killed in a nation where no one is armed?
Because the Mossad and the CIA went in there and distributed arms to members of.
Of the resistance, if you want to call them that, in the crowd, and directed them to shoot.
And they killed police officers.
At that point, you had to go in and put down this minor, relatively speaking, minor uprising.
I say minor because they painted the picture that there were millions of people in the country ready to overthrow the government violently.
And that was not true.
It was never true.
Then we decided oh, no, we'll bomb to decapitate.
We'll kill all the key leaders because the Israelis said, Well, if you kill all the key leaders, they'll fall apart.
Why would they say that?
Because the Israelis have experienced that previously in many Arab states.
Chaos breaks out.
There's no one to step in and take over and so forth.
That was false because Iran is not an Arab state.
Iran is a real country.
It's a real nation state.
It's been around for 2,000 years.
So what did we do?
Well, we made the mistake of following that guidance based on that false intelligence, and that didn't work.
And having failed at that, we then decided, well, we'll try to destroy the country.
We'll inflict pain on them.
We'll hit critical infrastructure.
And these people will give up, I think President Trump said something like cry uncle.
Well, that didn't work.
So here we are again.
And we fell into the blockade, which was always a farce.
It didn't make any sense.
Then we said we were going to control the strait.
How could we control the strait?
You can't control the strait unless you are in a position to stop everything that goes in and comes out.
The Iranians can do that.
Why?
Well, they border it.
They have the longest coastline with the Persian Gulf.
They control more than half of it.
So the bottom line is we can't control it.
And that's now patently obvious to the whole world.
So what's the next step?
What do you do?
Well, the intelligent thing to do is you stand up and say, I, President Trump, have reviewed what we have done thus far.
We have undoubtedly done serious damage to Iran, damage that will require years to reverse.
But more important, we've also now jeopardized economic stability around the world.
We didn't want to do that.
I don't want to do that.
And I know that countries in the global south, in Europe, in Africa, everywhere, need access to fertilizer, feedstock, food, and fuel.
We're going to back off.
We're going to disengage.
And I am suspending all further military action to ensure that those items reach the world that needs it.
And we will look for intermediaries in the future who can help us resolve our dispute.
Brilliant, brilliant.
Further confirmation of Colonel McGraver's analysis coming from a report just published on my blog at jameshfetzer.org.

The Iran War Decision00:08:25
Tohi, inside the Iran war decision, how Netanyahu sold Trump on a conflict his own advisor called farcical.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu persuaded President Donald Trump to launch war against Iran through a February 2026 Situation Room presentation, despite deep skepticism from Trump's top advisors.
CIA Director John Radcliffe, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and Joint Chief Chairman General Dan Kaine deemed Netanyahu's regime change predictions farcical and bullshit.
Vice President JD Vance was the most vocal opponent of military action, warning of regional chaos, mass casualties, and political betrayal of Trump's anti war base.
Netanyahu's promise of quick war has failed.
Iran continues daily ballistic missile launches, has blocked the Strait of Hormuz, and struck neighboring countries.
Trump reportedly dismissed military warnings about weapons stockpile depletion and the difficulty.
Of securing the Strait of Ore moves, believing Iran would capitulate quickly in hours falling for BB's song and dance, even though it was a farce.
Very, very, very bad.
Very bad.
We have a lot more going on, too.
Netya facing Trump heat permitted crisis?
U.S. big warning to Israel.
Stop all strikes.
Whether this is going to happen is a whole nother matter.
Let's see what we got here.
Being held in Pakistan's capital, Islamabad.
Why?
Because Israel is carrying out relentless ongoing attacks against Hezbollah in Lebanon.
A group backed by Iran.
Amid fears that the truce could derail, the Trump administration and the Lebanese government asked Israel for a pause in its attacks on Hezbollah before direct negotiations between Israel and Lebanon begin next week, Axios reported, citing sources.
This comes as U.S. President Donald Trump had asked Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu To scale back operations against Hezbollah and open talks with Beirut for a potential peace deal.
In a phone interview with Israeli journalist Neria Krauss, Trump said Netanyahu is going to be fine.
He's going to low key a little bit.
He's got a problem with Hezbollah.
He's going to low key a little bit, but he's going to be absolutely fine.
Of course, it hasn't proven that way at all.
Netanyahu, presuming he's still alive, has become very, very aggressive in Lebanon and, as McGregor is declining, to undermine negotiations with Iran.
Meanwhile, Israel faces an extinction risk.
IDF surrenders.
Netanyahu declares emergency.

Why am I not surprised?
This happens frequently now in a period of massive censorship to conceal the truth.
Here's quite an important report.
Namely, the Iran war marks the end of American primacy as we know it from responsible statecraft.
For states that had opted to depend on U.S. protection, this should be a wake up call.
Yes, no doubt.
The war in Ukraine shattered a core assumption about great power dominance that size and military strength are enough to impose one's will.
Ukraine has showed otherwise.
With the right strategy, geography, and resolve, a weaker state can survive and blunt and, in key respects, even defeat a much stronger adversary.
The United States now faces an uncomfortable parallel.
The war with Iran is exposing similar limits to American power, just as Ukraine for Russian power for decades.
U.S. grand strategy has rested on primacy.
The belief that America's unmatched military capabilities enabled it to uphold global stability and shape outcomes across regions.
After the failures of Iraq and Afghanistan, many Americans have reached a stark conclusion.
The cost of primacy is no longer sustainable and no longer serves U.S. interests.
A strategy that depends on military dominance everywhere, all the time.
Inevitably, we need to be at war somewhere all the time.
America's endless wars are not an accident.
They are the product of this approach.
And if there is one rare point of agreement in a deeply divided country, it is this Americans are tired of war.
I'd add, of course, that's one of the reasons we supported Donald Trump with such enthusiasm.
He promised to end these wars, he was a peace candidate.
He was the one who was not only going to end those ongoing, he wasn't going to initiate any new ones.
He's contradicted and betrayed us on every count.
Yet, despite a war-weary public, mounting financial strain, and politicians who promised to end endless wars inertia and powerful economic interests tied to war have kept primacy intact.
Is whether the debacle in Iran will finally break that pattern.
Early signs suggest its repercussions may even exceed those of George W. Bush's war of choice in Iraq.
And of course, that was another war we were fighting for Israel.
All these wars have been fought for Israel since 9 11, which was brought to us by Israel.
Compliments of the CIA, the neocons of the Department of Defense, and Mossad.
Meanwhile, Joaquin Agobion, Trump flip flops, but in the end submits to the city of London on the government brag.
On Wednesday, May 6th, President Donald Trump expressed optimism over his latest peace proposal that Rand is now evaluating.
Trump stated from the Oval Office We've had very good talks over the last 24 hours, and it's It's very possible that we'll make a deal.
Trump Secretary of State Marco Rubio also said Wednesday that the U.S.-Israel joint operation Epic Fury against Iran is over.
Meanwhile, the more cautious Iran Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Begai explained to the media that the U.S. plan and proposal are still under review.
Empire Half Millennium Heyday00:06:37
So the world awaits Tehran's response.
But over the last week, the U.S. Israel, joined by its vassal UAE, are making discrepant claims that are far apart from Moran's account of recent events.
While U.S. Israel have a long established track record of backstabbing, betrayal, and deception, never complying with previously made agreements, lying virtually 100% of the time.
In relative contrast, Iran tends to be far more accurately reporting a closer semblance to truth.
The challenge and aim of this article is to analyze and assess recent action and statement of both sides to ferret out the truth and embrace where humanity is most likely headed in the near future.
The proud nation of Iran, geographically larger than Western Europe and 67 times the size of Israel, is determined to sacrifice.
Whatever adversity the U.S. throws at it, Iran is willing to do this in order to overcome the oppressive stranglehold of globalist oligarchy as deployed by its strongest vassal U.S. empire, allowed to willfully dominate and exploit the world with impunity for far too long.
The Anglo-American Zion Empire's half-millennium heyday is finally over, and Iran's bold actions are proving it.

Eight bucks a month, $80 a year for both of us.
We need more independent media if we are going to take down these clowns in Washington that have given us so much to talk about over the last 10, 12 days, year and a half, 10 years, however long you want to say it's been.
And Jack, I'm going to hand it to you to kick us off on this one because you were awfully fired up this morning.
I was awfully fired up this morning because if all goes well, we're sending Barron Trump to jail.
Let's go.
Well, I think that should be the case.
You know, over the past.
60 plus days of Donald Trump's meaningless, illegal, out of control war, a war that he doesn't understand.
One thing that has been consistent through all the flip flopping is insider trading.
Obvious insider trading, whether it be on the markets, future as a whole, oil futures.
We have just seen insider trading because although Donald Trump is at war right now for many reasons, Netanyahu talked him into it.
He wants to cover up the Epstein files.
The fact that war is profitable.
For Trump and the worst people around him in many different respects is certainly one of the reasons we went to and still are at war.
And it is leading Donald Trump to get into some legal trouble, or at least a legal conversation to start that, again, hopefully should put Barron in jail if all goes well.
But it's because of something that Senator Chris Murphy, who's been on this corruption beat, done a great job, talked about.
And this was two months ago, this was in March.
He said that early Monday morning, so this was closer to the start of the war.
Seconds before Donald Trump posted that he was postponing escalation of the war in Iran, a handful of oil market bets were made to cash in on Trump's post.
So, this happened 15 minutes before, and it was a huge spike in trading.
These were people with inside info, most likely in the White House.
You need to know the story of corruption.
The story of corruption is what we are going to be talking about.
But these were the bets that were made on oil futures, that of course were made with insider information, because afterwards, when Donald Trump said, we're not going to be escalating any further, we're going to be slowing things down, quite frankly, we love.
Piece.
And of course, it was on Monday as the markets opened.
What happens?
The price of oil is going down, right?
So if you're shorting oil, you're probably going to make a lot of money there.
And so all we have seen again and again and again, and this continues to happen, is this insider trading.
Now, I don't know if it's in the White House.
I don't know if it's the Kushners.
I don't know if it's Barron in his wallet.
But what has been your takeaway in the way that I think Democrats have kind of underutilized this talking point?
Or do you think we've gotten the most out of it?
Well, I don't think we've gotten the most out of it at all.
And a big part of the reason we haven't is because our house isn't clean here either.
And I make this point all the time.
We have a lot of people inside the Democratic Party that are also insider trading in Congress because it is legal and refusing to move forward with legislation to address that.
And so it undermines our ability to actually talk about corruption and these issues.
Because if you're, and I'm not going to single anybody out right now because I think we all know who I'm talking about, but if you're a member of Congress, you're too afraid sometimes to speak out about a member of leadership or respect a member of the party that's pretty clearly doing something they shouldn't be doing.
Yep, yep, yep, indeed.
There's a lot of corruption on both sides right now, however.
Those who are benefiting from the war are Trump family members.
It even turns out that Donald and Laura, perhaps, own some 30 40% of an Israeli drone factory.
Unbelievable.
Meanwhile, the Pentagon has sat on footage about a Droper Reaper drone for four years.
Now you know the reason why.
The USS Nimitz pilot couldn't explain what they saw in 2004, and the government spent the next 20 years pretending it was a one time mystery.
Now there's video of an American Reaper drone locking onto an unknown craft over Syria.
And the moment that succeeded, the object vanished from the frame.
This is a UFO thing, you know, and of course, there are vast numbers of unidentified flying objects, which does not mean because you have a UFO that is of extraterrestrial origin.
Meanwhile, the Trade Court has ruled Trump's 10% tariff is illegal.
Fascinating what's going on here.
And, however, Trump admin can keep 2020 election ballot seats from Georgia, another judge has ruled.
Now, let's there be any doubt about it.
I mean, the 2020 election was stolen so massively that in many.
Districts, you had more votes than there were available voters.
When I was living in Duluth, it had the highest record participation for voting, and that was about 70%.
And yet, in some of these districts in 2020, they had like 110%.
That's right, I mean, more votes cast than voters available to cast them.
In fact, the Democrats went so overboard stealing that election that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris got 81 million votes allegedly, when in fact they were both mediocrities, well illustrated by the day before the election in Phoenix.
There was a joint appearance of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, and the number who turned out to watch the two of them together is zero, zib, nada.
Not a one.
Not a one.
And this is supposed to be the guy who got 81 million.
I mean, it's outrageous.
Mike Lindell did a great job of bringing together experts.
So did Ron Johnson.
Great job of bringing together experts.
Even Denise D'Souza with his 2,000 mules was reporting how ballots were being dumped into these boxes at 2 a.m., 3 a.m. by the bushel basket, and they were being paid off.
I don't know, what, 50 bucks a ballot, something?
It was a monstrous scam.
No one should have any doubt about the ongoing propaganda that 2020 was a secure election.
No chance.
Absolute rubbish.
Thoroughly documented.
Don't let yourself be plain.
Meanwhile, New York City grocers are begging Mandani to stop before his government store opens.
Think about it.
Why?
Well, he's talking about a grocery store with free stuff.
So, what's going to happen to all the ordinary grocery stores whose stuff is not free?
There's going to be a run on the freestyle.
The real grocery markets are going to collapse.
And then when the government can't sustain freestyle, it's going to collapse too.
It's going to be a hell of a mess.
Here's one story about it.
Totally appropriate.
To be concerned.
Now, Zon Mandani wants New York to try the same thing where Venezuela had government grocery stores, too.
Locals actually run food businesses in East Harlem are not impressed.
They're saying so out loud.
A plan 45 grocery stores did not ask for.
Mandani is paying 30 million New York taxpayer money to open a city run grocery store.
Store in Law of Marquetta, a public market space at Park Avenue and 115th Street in East Harlem.
He plans five stores total, one in each bureau by 2029.
The city run stores will be exempt from paying rent and property taxes, advantages that every private grocer in the neighborhood will never get.
Fox News Digital analyzed the area around Law.
Met Cat Hunt and found 45 grocery stores already operating within a 35 minute walk.
Why, thousand?
Here's Mandami tweeting All our city owned grocery stores say that eggs and bread will actually be affordable, and we're doing it the right way without cutting workers' pay or dignity.
Because the wealthiest city in this country, buying groceries shouldn't be an unsolvable equation.
New York City, it is time for a grand experiment once again.
Just as LaGuardia used government to To respond to the challenges of the Great Depression, we will use government to respond to rising prices and unaffordable groceries.
During our campaign, we promised New Yorkers that we would create a network of city-owned grocery stores, one in each borough.
The city will subsidize a core set of staples.
A private operator will run the store, but they answer to the standards that the city will set.
Bread will be cheaper, eggs will be cheaper.
Grocery shopping will no longer be an unsolvable equation, and workers will be treated with dignity.
This is what we mean by a new era.
When New Yorkers are being priced out of their groceries, government will step in and deliver affordability.
Yeah, so not free, but cheaper, but it's going to undermine all the others.
Here's a second report about it.
Mayor Mandami's $30 million grocery plan will crush East Harlem's shops.
Here's Bernie, who's all for government programs.
Mayor Zorhan Mamdani is declaring his first 100 days in office a success.
He's also beginning to outline his administration's priorities going forward.
Let's get right to good days, Jessica Formoso.
She's live outside City Hall this morning with the details.
Jessica, good morning.
Good morning to Shawnee and Dan.
Look, it was as if he was on the campaign trail all over again.
Mayor Mamdani hosting two rallies to celebrate his 100 days in office.

Meanwhile, a former FBI agent says Comey's 8647, that was the seashell post, was a deliberate hit on Trump.
Anyone who understands 86 means assassinate or terminate understood that from the beginning.
But here you're getting it from an FBI agent.
Former FBI agent Jonathan Gilliam dropped a sharp accusation on Saturday.
Sunday agenda worth more than a headline.
He says a cryptic 8647, posted by former FDIR director Jim Comey, was not a harmless social media oddity, it was meant to injure President Trump politically.
If true, this is just another ugly example of what happens when career officials forget they work for the public and start playing politics to promote themselves.
Let's hear what he's got to say about it.
And welcome back to Sunday Agenda.
I'm Joe Pinion.
Well, a grand jury indicts former FBI Director James Comey for a second time in connection with his 2025 Instagram post showing seashells arranged as 8647.
Prosecutors allege the post could be interpreted as a threat against President Trump's life.
Now, this type of messaging is the opposite of his stance against corruption.
That he stood for in office.
So, for more on this, let's bring in former FBI agent and author of Sheep No More, Jonathan Gillum, criminal defense attorney Ken Belkin, and also with us former Trump spokesperson Liz Harrington.
Look, I'll start with you, Liz, right?
The acting attorney general was on Meet the Press this morning and was asked about the indictment against Comey.
Take a listen.
I want to get your feedback.
The career assistant United States attorneys in North Carolina, the career FBI agents, the career Secret service agents that investigated this case didn't just look at the Instagram post and walk away.
That's why you saw an indictment last week, notwithstanding the fact that it was last May that the post was made.
Secret Service Checkpoint Evidence00:12:54
So, I am not permitted to get into the details of what the grand jury heard or found, as you know, but rest assured that it's not just the Instagram post that leads somebody to get indicted.
So, yeah, look, James Comey has been very vocal.
His criticism of President Trump is well documented, but it's also well documented that James Comey has been talking about rhetoric, particularly as it relates to President Trump.
Perhaps he doesn't think it applies to him.
Liz, what say you?
Well, of course not, right?
And this is a guy, he claims to be a Swift.
He knows the pop culture, and yet he doesn't know what 86 means.
Give me a break.
Nobody is buying this.
And I think that's kind of key when you heard Blanche say there.
Perhaps what they're really going after here is maybe he lied to federal agents when he talked about this.
And that would be poetic justice, considering how many people during Russiagate that his FBI entrapped to try to bring charges of making false statements to the FBI.
So, look.
This is a long time coming.
I hope there's more when it comes to the Russiagate conspiracy, and I hope there's charges against that.
But this should absolutely be looked at when you have a threat and you've already seen now three assassination attempts.
You know, Ken, to that point, right, people have to remember this is a man that put Martha Stewart behind bars for high crimes against society, not because of the insider trading that he couldn't prove, but because she lied to the FBI.
So, again, a former assistant attorney general for the nation who has, again, Had this track record where he has been above reproach.
Contemporaneous notes became the words on everyone's lips as it related to President Trump and James Comey, my word is stronger than oak.
And now we find ourselves here with him trying to pretend he had no idea what this meant and he just happened to come across it on the beach.
Yeah, well, I think it's very telling that the acting attorney general went on Meet the Press and said it's not just about this Instagram post, there are other things that were presented to the grand jury.
That led them to vote to indict Mr. Comey.
So I think that is good because I think that Instagram post on its face alone is not sufficient enough to support charging him.
But if there is other evidence, I'd like to see what it is.
I would also like to see Comey reindicted for lying to Congress.
Let's not forget that that indictment that was dismissed against him, it wasn't dismissed on the merits.
It was dismissed on an issue of how the prosecutor was appointed in the case.
He may very well be guilty of those crimes as well.
You know, Jonathan, you look at all of this in its totality.
You have a president that at the time of this Instagram post had a murder for hire plot by the Iranians that the Department of Justice was investigating.
Right?
A president who had had a crazy man on a slanted roof in Butler, Pennsylvania, attempt to take his life and was nearly successful.
And yet now you have the FBI director, a former FBI director, who says that he doesn't know what 8647 means, said he didn't actually.
Put two and two together.
You had Christopher Wray, who went to Congress and said that perhaps President Trump might have been hit by shrapnel.
You have what happened at the correspondence dinner, which appears to be another lapse in security.
So the American people start to ask is all of this a little bit too much failure by design when people's negative attitudes towards the president result in lax activities that undermine the stability of our nation?
You know, two things you said there that are very important for people to realize.
One is the totality of circumstances.
Everybody knows me and knows I love to use that.
That phrase because it's very important, but also that you said that it looks like failure, intended failure, failure on purpose.
Well, that is not failure at all.
That's intention.
And so when we look at those two things with Comey, we look at criminal behavior.
The totality of his behavior leading up to those seashells, his intent had been to get the president put in jail, to build a case filled with lies, and consistently go after and target the president for all of these things that were made up under his.
Tenure as the FBI director and knowingly doing it.
So when he shows, if they can show that he knowingly did a lot of these things, and I think they do have the evidence for that now, and then they show him do this, they may actually have evidence that shows he intended to motivate people to kill the president.
I mean, it's just wild to think of again, James Comey.
Yeah, Comey.
Those seashells didn't just arrange themselves that way by accident.
And notice all the eight are their kind of goldens, the 47 are different type, longer.
Stones and the 86, all smaller stones, all very cleverly contrived.
Yeah, of course, he had no idea what 8647 meant.
That's why he put it out as a post.
Meanwhile, we have a new report about how the Secret Service failed to stop the Hilton shooter.
I mean, I'm telling you.
At the White House correspondents' dinner with President Donald Trump, a heavily armed man forced his way past a Secret Service checkpoint.
Going to examine this frightening close call, this guy got 50 yards away from Donald Trump.
That had police officers and even the National Guard scrambling.
We're going to review the high definition security camera video and determine why it took them so long to react.
I'm going to show you a 3D virtual walkthrough of everywhere the shooter went and his point of view and where he was going and what he was doing inside that doorway.
We'll figure out what was wrong with security at the Secret Service checkpoint.
Now, I want to show you that high definition security camera video that was released the other day by U.S. Attorney Jeanine Perrault.
Maybe you've seen it, maybe you haven't, but let's make sure we're all on the same page.
This is the entire 42 second shooting sequence, and then I'll break it down for you.
So, in this 42 second long sequence, we can see the suspect is going to enter that doorway in the upper left corner of the frame where the circle is.
See?
He's going in right there.
Canine officer goes right behind him.
It seems he attracted the attention of the dog.
He's there talking to him a little bit as the guys are taking down the magnetometer.
They're lowering it to the floor right now.
And he's going to come out in there in about two seconds from now, running.
And there he goes.
Officer's drawing his gun.
Shots are fired.
Suspect falls to the floor, unhit by any gunfire.
And then you see more agents come running in through the door.
And he's already on the floor and disabled.
They just kicked the knives over there in the middle of the screen.
He was unhit by any bullets.
If you look in the upper left of the screen, the White House Correspondents' Dinner shooter enters that double door there at exactly 8 36 and 24 seconds.
So now he emerges out of the room at 8 26 40.
So this is why it's so important to pay attention to these timestamps right here because he went in the room at 836 24.
So he emerges from the door at 836 and 40 seconds.
So he was inside that doorway for only 16 seconds.
So all he needed was those 16 seconds there unattended as the canine officer walks away.
He used that split second to dart off out of there.
And that's all he needed to shed that jacket and get his rifle out.
How long does the actual confrontation take?
He runs out of the room here at 836 40.
Lower part of the screen on the right, he's already falling.
So remember, the shooter sprinted out of this door here at 836 40, and it took him all the way up to this point in time right here.
You can see the arrows pointing to him in the lower right part of the screen.
He's already falling towards the floor at this point because he banged his leg on this box over here.
So, this entire altercation basically lasted four seconds.
It was a four second sprint to go 60 feet from this door all the way past here.
And he fell probably another, I'd say, 10, 20 feet away from here over at the beginning of the steps.
Oh, but don't you dare leave early because you're going to miss out on the 3D virtual walkthrough that I have here for you in just a little bit later.
This animated walkthrough that shows you the whole area there where the shooter was and what was going on in his point of view.
And we're going to show you inside that doorway, too, where he was at.
And you're going to be amazed at this.
And as soon as the shots were heard, suddenly Secret Service came out of everywhere and went up to President Trump there.
And you could see the one Secret Service agent standing directly in front of him as a human shield.
That's not a job I would want.
And then, of course, the counter assault team comes out.
You can see them there with their long rifles out as they escort the president away.
Okay, so just to get everybody up to speed of where this all took place.
This is the terrace level of the Washington Hilton Hotel off of the T Street entrance.
So everything was taking place in this area right here.
And in some of the aftermath videos, you're going to see a bunch of SWAT officers coming running in here and going down through these two double doors.
So I made this graphic here based off of that map to show you exactly what happened.
So the guests were coming in this VIP entrance going across the red carpet.
Immediately after the shooting, one of the agents is going down that very red carpet right there.
Now I want you to pay close attention to that blue curtain you see there in the middle.
Because this is going to come back to bite them in the butt later when I show you some of the mistakes that the Secret Service agents made that allowed the suspect to get through.
And they sent them to the right here, and then they curve around, come in through these double doors into the back part of the terrace, and then right here is the Secret Service security checkpoint.
Somebody posted a video of what it looked like going through this Secret Service checkpoint.
Once they pass that, they then go down the stairs into the ballroom, and then they're inside the ballroom there.
There's just massive evidence.
This was a completely staged event.
Not least of all, they took out the vice president before they removed the president.
We'll be right back with my special guest today, Fred Smart, and Mick Grady.

That the Boston Globe was tweeting that a demonstration and they sent them to the right.
Here and then they curve around, come in through these double doors into the back part of the terrace, and then right here is the Secret Service security checkpoint.
Somebody posted a video of what it looked like going through this Secret Service checkpoint.
Once they pass that, they then go down the stairs.
But there was no blood.
The blood only showed up later and came out of a tomb.
They used amputee actors and a studio quality smoke machine.
Don't let yourself be played.

Liberty Act Interactive Tool00:11:08
Well, I'm joined for the second hour by Fred Smart, who resides in Evanston, Illinois, a longtime activist on local, state, and federal issues, and his colleague in arms, Mick Grady.
Fred, it's great to see you again, my friend.
What have you been up to?
How are you doing?
Go right ahead.
Okay, thank you for just reaching out and touching base.
I'm just ending a.
A hour and a half, two hour babysitting task with my granddaughter.
They live a couple of blocks away.
So we're starting the next generation.
I got to say, Fred, I think being a grandparent is one of God's great gifts to humanities.
One of the most touching cards I've ever had on a birthday was from my granddaughter who wrote that I was the best grandpa in the history of grandpas.
I thought that was pretty good.
Yeah.
Well, Winslow is, she'll be two in July.
We've got a grandson who's four in March and another one on the way in August.
So tell me what you and Mick have been up to.
Mick Grady, you there, Mick?
He's here.
Okay.
Well, we have kept in touch with the underground or the above ground.
It used to be underground, but now it's the above ground freedom movement.
That was originally started from our perspective by our founding fathers and got covered up for over a century and a half.
And the kindling of rediscovery emerged with the efforts of Bob Schultz with We the People Foundation for Constitutional Education back in 1999, 2000, 2001.
And we all joined and became local coordinators, county coordinators, state coordinators.
And we filed a bunch of petitions for redress of grievances, et cetera, et cetera.
We were part of many causes of action, including rallying and organizing thousands of people behind Aaron Russo's movie, America, Freedom to Fascism.
And Mick was around back in those days.
And then Mick tapped me on the shoulder for about four and a half, five, six years.
We did about 25 to 26 public cable access TV shows.
Mick, can you hear me?
For some reason, Mick is having trouble hearing you.
Let's see, but I think he may be re entering the way he will be.
I can hear you clearly, Fred.
So, you know.
You can hear me?
I can hear you fine.
Yeah.
Okay.
I can hear you too, Mick, now.
All right.
I had your thoughts, Fred.
So, anyway, we worked closely with Aaron Russo for about a year and a half to two years.
Got screenings in 70.
Cities and towns all across the country, and had theatrical theater showings in about 77 theater cities.
We had over 250,000 unique email addresses in that network, and Bob Schultz was part of that.
We organized everyone to get behind these petitions for redress of grievances in the wake of that movie.
As you know, the DOJ came back really hard and strong against Bob, against all of us.
Many people went to jail, but I think we awakened a lot of people, and it was led by Dr. Ron Paul.
We rallied thousands of young people behind Dr. Paul's candidacy in 2008 and again in 2012.
And then we started back in 2007 a weekly podcast.
When I stepped away from Aaron, we started a weekly podcast called the American Underground Network, au network.tv.
And Jim, you were our guest many, many times on that show.
It was a 14 and a half, 15 year run, and we ended that in February of 2022.
Well, let me turn to Mick here.
Mick, Fred has been giving us a rundown of your efforts to get Aaron Russo's From Freedom to Fascism film out and about and get support for petitions to take some kind of corrective action.
Give us your take on those years of effort.
Mick, did you hear me?
Of course, that's what it does.
Mick, please.
Mick, can you hear me?
We seem to have a problem communicating with Mick.
I can see him, but I can't hear him for whatever reason.
Fred, continue.
Hey, Mick.
Okay.
Mick, you look like a Jared Headlights.
Anyway.
Go right ahead.
Yeah, okay.
Fred, go right ahead.
Mick, okay.
So, anyway, Mick was very close in partnership with Bob, We the People Foundation, and we are just launching a new initiative called the Declaration of Independence for the state of Illinois and for the several states.
Yeah.
We've got a 25 to 30 page document, including 26.
Petitions for redress 26 instances of redress.
We'd like to see.
We've got many organizations behind us.
Nick, can you hear me?
I don't know.
Nick's getting assistance here and getting his audio adjusted, read.
By the way, I have the two reports you sent me.
We can discuss them when you're ready.
Okay, and the other thing is we've got some really good young techies that are developing a new app called the Liberty Atlas, Jim.
The Liberty Atlas will help people organize at the local precinct level and communicate and network.
Recording in progress.
Yeah, I got the Liberty Atlas right here, Fred.
I'm pulling it up.
Here it is, Liberty Act, this interactive tool.
Map your route, choose your battles, reclaim your territory.
Good things.
There's a whole local connection to mapping, actual mapping technology, and a very robust database behind this.
And it's currently being rolled out in beta in several places around the country.
Let us know when you can hear us because we can hear you.
So let us know when you can hear us.
But of course, I'm speaking to a silent, you know, biker speaker.
Fred, let me read a bit about it.
Liberty is not maintained by chance, it is mapped, guarded, and carried forward by those who care enough to act.
Opening motto of the Liberty Atlas.
The Liberty Atlas is your personal investigative system, navigation system for restoring constitutional government where it matters most in your city, county, and state.
It helps you find your role, choose an action path, explore historic and modern landmarks, and contribute to a nationwide citizen powered map of liberty.
This isn't watch only media.
The Liberty Atlas is built like interactive TV a TV guide for real world civic action where you can see verified wins, in progress, challenges, and needs backup stories as watchable entries that other communities can copy, support, and amplify.
Fred, elaborate.
Well, anyway, we had none of these tools back in the day when we worked with Aaron Russo.
We had email.
We barely had websites.
We had a few websites, but we had the emerging Google Video.
But now, with social media and all these platforms that are out there, there's no problem with content.
Dissemination is fine, but it's getting to know your local patriots at the local level for a cup of coffee, face to face, that kind of thing.
Liberty Atlas basically focuses on the local precinct level, county level interactions with individuals, free individuals.
Whether it's you're walking your dog or putting a yard sign up for some local cause, whatever the case, it's the local level that's been ignored for too long.
And we're all getting swept up and distracted by these platforms and can barely keep ahead of ourselves.
And the other thing that's very interesting about this whole thing is the emergence of AI, Jim.
AI can be used for both evil and good.
And we think the use of AI to address information regarding Abuses of local power when it comes to documenting administrative actions of our local administrative officials,
if they're not in concert, in sync with our state and federal constitutions, we should use AI to call that out and call that attention.
And the Liberty Atlas is basically being used for that as well to shine the light.
On a lot of the stuff.
If you do it manually, you can barely ever keep up.
But with AI, there's a lot more that can be done behind this.
AI Calls Out Court Systems00:14:06
So, I know there's a video here that's an introduction.
Where is it for me to play here?
Go ahead and there's one that was, go ahead and play.
There's an intro video if you want to click that on.
It's very well done.
Yeah.
Where, but which video?
Where is it?
There should be one closer to the top.
Closer to the top.
Yeah, main content page.
Here we go.
Here comes Mick's coming back.
Maybe we'll be able to have the, you'll be able to speak.
Mick, let us know if we can hear you.
And I'm going to park my car here.
Okay, good.
Then you got to head inside, right?
No, no, no.
I'm going to stay in my car.
I'm going to stay in my car.
Okay, we're good, we're good, we're good.
Let me see.
In fact, is there any way I could call Mick on my phone or no?
He's rejoining here, Fred.
He's rejoining here.
I can see his name.
I'm asking him to unmute, of course, so he can.
Okay, there we go.
Mick, hey!
There we go.
You can see everybody.
Give us some thoughts, Mick.
Give us some thoughts about the years with promoting the Aaron Russo Freedom to Fascism video with Fred and all that.
Give us some background to Liberty Access.
Go.
I met Fred on a TV show we were filming.
The host didn't show up, and I asked Fred to substitute.
Fred came on, we became friends, and then Fred, over the next year, invited Aaron Russo on.
And when we got Aaron Russo on the show, the first 10 minutes into the show, we showed a clip from Aaron's movie, and the chairman of the board for the Cable Access TV channel.
Had a heart attack.
She must have been watching at home.
And the poor kid that was getting us into online, we were live, a call in show, because Aaron was sick with cancer and he couldn't come in person.
So this kid came running back.
He usually turns us on, goes to 7 Eleven, has coffee, and reads the paper.
He came tearing back with his cup of coffee and he said, Mick, we got to take this show off.
Barbara doesn't want this on the air.
And I said, Joe, you're impinging on my freedom of speech, dude.
And he goes, Don't give me that constitutional stuff.
I just had a kid.
I need this job.
And I said, Listen, you're not taking it off the air.
And he goes, Yeah, we got to do it.
I'll put up technical difficulties.
And I said, All right, all right, all right, right.
I said, Come here, but you better look in the equipment closet because some of the equipment is sparking and it's going to start the carpet on fire.
He goes, Oh, what the hell else could go wrong?
And he went in the equipment closet.
Closet and I locked him in.
Wow.
Yeah.
And we finished the show.
That was quick on your part, Mick.
I got to say, I'm very impressed.
Continue.
Yeah.
We locked him in the show.
And then, unfortunately, when the show was over, Barbara pulled up with three of the other board members about 10 minutes too late because it was over.
And we almost forgot to let the kid out of the closet.
So.
So I got severely reprimanded, and they said, don't more controversial shows.
So, approximately two months after that, me and Fred put on Ed Crosby with how they were forging secret code numbers on veterans' DD 214s to deny them their benefits.
So, I was not very well liked at the Cable Access Channel.
So they were just scared to death they were going to be censored or somehow, what, have their license revoked because of Aaron's film?
Well, I think it was a little more deeper than that.
You know, in Illinois, everything revolves around money.
So I think since cable access is federally and state funded, I think they were more worried about their money than anything else.
Their money, yeah, yeah.
Fred, you want to elaborate?
I mean, Vic's got a great story there.
I love it.
Yeah, we did several shows, Jim.
And this is all controversial content.
The one with Ed Crosby regarding the DD 214 deprivation of rights and to our veterans was particularly that spread virally all across the country.
We have evidence that it got into Obama's campaign, and we were starting a national cable channel for veterans.
Nick, you want to pick up on that?
Yeah, I started a.
Jim, I know you don't know about my background.
My background is an iron worker and a carpenter.
In 1992, I fell four stories, broke my neck and back.
Then I went to law school.
I met Ed Bartoli and a couple other pretty heavy hitters, and they sent me to law school.
I got my paralegal certificate.
I worked for Ed Bartoli.
Then I worked for Michael Pritzker, our Illinois governor's cousin.
And Mr. Pritzker taught me about how law really works and all the shenanigans they pull behind the scenes, especially in Illinois.
And so, doing all that is how we had Ed Crosby on, and we kept me and Fred would just skirt along, kind of playing like Urkel, the innocent kid.
Did I do that?
But we really kind of knew what we were doing the whole time.
So, it was, you know.
Putting this all together for the veterans, I ended up writing legislation for a statewide TV channel.
And then the same lady, Barbara, who came running into on our Aaron Russo show, tried to stop the veterans channel from going.
And then in the middle of it, Obama and the Democrats in Illinois saw what I was doing, bringing all the veteran organizations together.
And they had a heart attack.
So, what did they do?
They stopped all our grant money and funding.
And they got together and created their own version of my concept.
And they renamed V SPAN, which stood for Veteran Special Programs American National Network.
They renamed it to Joining Forces.
And it was all under Obama.
It was all bureaucratic shenanigans.
What they did with the American Legion, VFW, is they went to them and they said, Well, we're going to get you on and help you get all your benefits.
But first of all, you have to give us all your membership roles.
So that ain't going to happen.
The veterans, American Legion VFW told them go pound sand because that's all they really wanted was their membership list.
And so they could control the veteran community.
And the whole TV channel, it's still there.
I still have the legislation.
Just waiting to get some funding and get off the ground and move it forward.
Greg.
Yep.
And Jim, you're aware back in 2008.
We had this on the channel, the Public Cable Access TV.
But we filed a national lawsuit against these electronic voting machines through Bob Schultz, We the People Foundation.
We had three plaintiffs from every one of the 50 states.
I was one from Illinois.
And we filed it here in Illinois with every one of the members of our Illinois Board of Elections.
I personally handed it to Governor Blagojevich's chief of staff, to our Secretary of State here in Illinois.
And this is done in every one of the 50 states.
And it took two and a half to three years.
And through appeal, appeal, appeal, it was finally just shuttered by a corrupt judge in the lower district of Manhattan, New York State.
But that information got into the hands of all the Ron Paul people.
Then led to supporting Donald Trump, which then, you know, of course, the level of awareness about voting fraud is off the charts these days.
And I sure hope and pray something is done about it.
It astonishes me.
There's still those who insist 2020 was a legitimate election when the evidence is so overwhelming.
Oh, my God.
And I cannot believe Congress hasn't acted to abolish electronic voting machines.
Exactly, exactly.
Electronic voting machines and mail in balloting are two obvious techniques for the theft of elections on a grand scale.
They both ought to be illegal, non permissible in U.S. elections if we're going to restore any degree of integrity to our process, our most sacred duty of casting our votes for those who want to represent us.
Fred, I'm just shocked.
How do you account for that?
Is it the Zionist money through AIPAC that's kept electronic voting machines in place?
I don't know.
I don't know.
There's something going on.
It's been going on for years.
We have a bought and paid for system, which then brings us to the current thing that we're talking about.
We're kind of going back to the roots of this, Jim.
The right to petition during the first 37 to 40 years of our country's history comprised about 80 plus percent of what government did at the local level, at the county level, at the state level, and at the national level.
80% of what government did was received and responded to.
Individual petitions for redress of grievances.
This is all documented in the research of Bob Schultz, We the People Foundation, etc., etc.
Back in the late 1840s, 250,000 of these individual petitions for redress of grievances to free individual slaves throughout our country were backed up in the halls of Congress.
And Congress invoked a cloture rule to no longer.
Follow the right to petition.
And we have all of that's been administratively handled over the course of many, many years.
We're now in administrative chaos where we think we're doing something, but we're actually not.
And what Mick has done here in Illinois to start us off is create, with many, many inputs, many, many hands have been involved in here, not just Mick.
And there are many groups and many organizations behind this document, but it's a petition to.
To address the colossal corruption that's going on in the state of Illinois.
And there are other states that are going to follow this.
But, Mick, why don't you pick up the ball here and tell us what we're doing there?
What was written is the Declaration of Independence for Illinois.
And on this 250th anniversary, we took the first section of the actual declaration.
All we had to do was substitute Illinois and put in some more qualifications, qualifiers.
And one of the things we added.
To that first section was something that people don't really understand, really know about.
You know, Marbury versus Madison did not only say that anything repugnant to the Constitution is null and void, but one of the statements from Mr. Marshall was as the authority from which they proceed is supreme and can seldom act, the Constitution has been designed to be permanent.
That's the end of the story.
It's permanent.
And all, you know, supreme law of the land, any law passed is null and void from the moment it's passed.
And the question is, why do we have to run through these court systems and get their approval when these court systems are upside down corrupt?
And they're going to have to approve everything.
We got a break.
I got, we the people of Illinois, I got your Declaration of Independence for Illinois set up.
We'll continue right after.
This break.

But did you know that it was an inside job?
That Osama had nothing to do with it?
That the twin towers were blown apart by a sophisticated arrangement of mini or micro nukes?
That Building 7 collapsed seven hours later because of explosives planted in the building?
Barry Jennings was there.
He heard them go off and felt himself stepping over dead people.
The U.S. Geological Survey conducted studies of dust gathered from 35 locations in lower Manhattan.
And found elements that would not have been there had this not been a nuclear event.
Ironically, that means the government's own evidence contradicts the government's official position.

Well, we've got the Declaration of Independence for Illinois showing on the screen here.
Let's talk about it.
Fred, you want to begin?
Yeah, Jim.
To get back, petitions for redress of grievances require research, documentation, presentation, and it has to be distributed with signed signatures.
And then all of that information has to be collected and presented to a government body at the local, state, county level, or national level.
And I have done this many times with Bob Schultz, We the People Foundation for Constitutional Education.
Mick has been part of this.
We've had tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of people, if not millions, sign these positions over the years to get them off and running.
But we have never addressed local states.
At the local level, you have more of a local connection with our state to have this addressed.
Politics is all local, and the state is lording over these localities and suffocating the light of freedom and liberty and truth.
And Mick and a whole bunch of other people came together, and this research has been out there.
It's been flying in the wind, but they all got together and they organized this in a single document.
And at one time, it was like 35, 36 individual positions of redress.
And Nick, why don't you pick up?
What are we down to?
Like 20, 26, 27, 29 right now for Illinois?
Yeah, we're back to the original Constitution, had 26 grievances.
We have the same.
Okay.
So, what this is, Jim, is we missed the filing date to do anything substantial, such as a referendum.
Or people's law by the people and to get it.
So, what we decided to do is just go forward with this as a symbolic and educational expression.
But depending on the signatures we're getting, and right now it looks like we may have over 50 plus thousand the first three weeks of this thing letting loose.
The goal of this is to put tremendous pressure on elected and judicial officials for this up and coming election.
To gain national news coverage, we also have a respected journalist, Alex Newman, who really likes this and wants to report on it.
And then also, we're hoping to cause Mr. Trump to bring in the FBI and cause a federal investigation into this humongous Illinois political corruption and judicial profiteering enterprise.
And so, that's what we can accomplish at this.
Realm of time because we needed six months to get it on the ballot and enough signatures, and we don't have it for this coming election.
So, but some of the grievances that you guys touched on is the petition clause.
Let me read a few paragraphs here, Mick, so everyone gets the idea.
To we, the people of Illinois, In the spirit of 1776, timed perfectly for America 250 in Illinois' own commemoration of the Declaration of Independence, we present the Illinois Declaration of Independence.
It is a symbolic educational petition from we, the people of Illinois, declaring independence from the politicized, bureaucratic, administrative overlay government and demanding restoration of Illinois constitutional government.
Illinois veterans, you know better than anyone what it costs to defend liberty.
Stand with us now, not in uniform, but as citizens, hold accountable those who have broken their oaths while you kept yours.
Sign today.
Bring this to your next post meeting.
Rally your members.
Let thousands of veteran signatures show candidates and lawmakers that those who swore to defend the Constitution are watching.
United and voting.
Share it with family, neighbors, and community groups.
Let thousands of signatures across Illinois show candidates and lawmakers that we are united, watching, and ready to vote for real reform.
Together, on this 250th anniversary of American independence, we declare enough is enough.
This is our petition for redress.
The Constitution, not statutes or overlays, is supreme.
Enough is enough.
Help restore liberty, safety, and physical sanity for our families, for our veterans, for our future, for Illinois.
Fine statement, Mick, Fred.
Very fine statement.
Now, tell us more, Mick.
Well, some of the grievances that we cover go all the way back to COVID.
For instance, when Pritzker declared an emergency, the statute actually only gives him 30 days.
After 30 days, as we have separation of powers, The legislative branch should have stepped in and had a judicial review.
They didn't do anything.
So they basically delegated their branch of government to Pritzker.
The judiciary should have stepped in and said, Hey, you two aren't doing your job.
They should have issued either an emergency writ of mandamus or something.
The judiciary sat on their hands, so they basically delegated their branch of government to Pritzker.
Pritzker became, in effect, a dictator over Illinois for the next three years, forcing businesses to go out of business, forcing people to be vaccinated against their will, to keep their jobs, and on and on.
I mean, the damages are unbelievable.
And the billions of dollars that came into Illinois because it is COVID, and then the next emergency, which was the immigration, illegal immigrants, billions came into there.
Where'd all this money go?
And so we're asking for a full forensic audit for the state.
And it just goes on and on.
The students, the kids in school have been indoctrinated in socialism, communism, then they have their woke ideology, religion.
It's a cult.
The gun laws in Illinois, the Article I, Section 22 of the state 1970 Constitution says, except for police powers.
That's not what our Constitution says.
And what police powers, the executive branch or the people?
Because we're the boss.
So the whole gun amendment, why does Pritzker keep passing gun laws in Illinois?
Because he can, because the Constitution in Illinois is flawed.
And so it doesn't say who's the police powers, the executive branch or the people.
So, that part of the Constitution is null and void for vague.
It's an illusionary right.
And then on and on.
And as we get to the end, more we go like grievance 23, we go into the emasculation of the petition clause.
You can petition the government, ask them all kinds of questions you want, but they don't have to answer you.
Why?
Because they've granted themselves immunity.
And so, what are you going to do to them?
They don't have to answer.
They've granted themselves judicial immunity, qualified immunity, and absolute government immunity.
They've united all three branches of government with immunity against the people.
The very people that serve, the very people they're supposed to protect their rights, they've insulated themselves from it and have created an absolute monarchy, dictatorship, whatever, oligarch, whatever you want to go.
And here's Judge Reeves.
In 2024, U.S. District Judge in Mississippi, he wrote an opinion about qualified immunity.
And he says the doctrine has come to be an unconstitutional error and that its time has passed for the judiciary to correct this mistake.
Who created qualified immunity?
The courts, the judges, by a judicial fiat, they created qualified immunity.
Well, can judges make law?
It's the legislative branch's job.
So then, who created judicial immunity?
The courts, again, the judges, they created judicial immunity over 120 years ago.
And judicial immunity, again, it's by judicial fiat.
You know, it's one of the things I talked to a lawyer and he says, listen, judicial fiat, judicial immunity has been around for over 100 years.
They're not going to change it.
Well, here's the funny thing.
In Biden versus Nebraska 2023, U.S. Supreme Court decision, Justice Gorage wrote an opinion stressing that unconstitutional acts are null and void from the moment they are enacted, regardless of passage of time.
What, whoa, rot, roll.
I think we're in trouble here, guys.
So, all of this is because they've united the branches.
Here's a The 10th Amendment.
Federal judiciary has not just created immunity for all federal officers and judges, it disguises a constitutional doctrine, it's created immunity for state officers as well.
This not only unites the federal branches against the people, it also unites them with the state and local governments, all against the people's rights.
And what it appears is that the judges, by granting immunity to themselves and the government officials, have just completely Redesigned our constitution.
What's their authority?
They don't have it.
So, all of this immunity has got to be looked at and it has to be void.
It's voided.
There's no, you know, the guys who wrote the constitution were pretty smart guys.
They put everything in that constitution, practically everything.
And they said, oh, well, they left out judicial and they left out these immunities.
Could it be because they didn't want it in there?
They wanted everybody to be accountable for their actions?
I think so, Quickstraw.
So that's where we're at.
Mick, scanning through this document, this is pretty heavy in legal analysis.
I don't imagine there are a whole lot of residents of Illinois who, at the time of the patient, they read it all the way through.
I think there'll be tremendous support for the general ideas you've articulated.
How is this going to work?
I mean, well, I'll tell you the truth.
The funny thing is, the people I've talked to, The 40, 50 people that actually have read this thing.
Each one of these grievances all came from all the different activist groups in Illinois.
The parents, the people that are trying to change Illinois red, you have the people that are going after voters' fraud, you have the veterans' organizations, on and on.
So each person has their grievance.
What I've seen is they scan through the document, they go right to the grievance that applies to them.
They like what it says, and then they start reading the other grievances.
The majority of them said, Once I start reading this thing, I can't put it down.
And so it seems to me that, yeah, it looks a little long winded, but it seems to me that it's taken on a life of its own.
Excellent.
Excellent.
So, and what can you get from doing this?
I mean, I understand educational, symbolic, politically significant.
What can you do in terms of changing the law, getting concrete effects to be implemented?
What can you do?
When you educate people on this level, you know, I have a lawyer friend that after he read this, he goes, This is kind of like Evelyn Wood's law course.
He goes, You read this 32 page document, and you're so knowledgeable on law, it's actually frightening.
And he goes, This is the shortest law course I've ever seen in my life.
And it goes through applications of actual de facto life events, such as indoctrinating our children again in the schools without the parents' consent.
The parents never get to look at the curriculums.
You have what they've disrespected our veterans.
They've given $2.5 billion to illegal immigrants and not even a third to our veterans.
And it's just, everything in here, it's, What it's not designed to do, it just does it because it's telling the truth.
Corporation Contract Admiralty Law00:06:11
It's the truth is finally hitting home, and people seem to be coming out of the ether all across the country.
You see, more and more people that always used to tell Fred and me years ago when we said they're putting secret codes on veterans' discharge papers, or when Aaron Russo was talking about where's the law, they're saying, Well, here's a roll of tinfoil for your head, you guys.
So, uh But now that's not happening at all anymore.
Everybody is waking up.
All this stuff is sinking in.
And it only took 20 years, I guess.
But that's where we're at, I think, Jim.
And that's excellent.
Excellent.
Fred, your thoughts.
Yeah, Mick's right.
People are waking up, not just to the information.
But we're at the stage, thankfully, Jim, where there's a lot of action that's taking place from individuals.
Take, for example, Nick Shirley, gentleman on Twitter, following in the wake of the Doge revelations.
Individuals are being inspired to pick up on their own and confront evil, confront fraud face to face, and they're getting big results, big results.
Content awareness via views, via repostings, and everything else.
So, if you take this document and you put it in the hands of guys like Nick Shirley and all these other individual organizations that represent thousands and thousands of people, there's something in it for everyone in this document.
And it's not just Illinois, there are people in other states around the country that are getting behind this trend.
Mick, why don't you pick up?
Yeah, you know, Jim, here's the funny thing.
This document was written in such a way that it's almost like a boilerplate document.
What happened was we took the original Constitution, I mean, the original declaration from Mr. Jefferson, changed out the name of United States, put Illinois in there, added a couple more horsepower to it by quoting that under Marbury versus Madison, that the Constitution's deemed to be permanent, and a few more other.
Things that actually apply to every state across the Union.
And then the bottom, we took the last half of the Constitution and put it at the end in the middle, as in the original grievances.
All a state has to do is take what Illinois has done here, take out Illinois, put their state in the middle, add their grievance, and a la peanut butter sandwich.
They have their own state declaration of independence that they can get signatures.
And put the pressure on our political, supposedly elected officials and the judiciaries who have created this own system for their own benefit.
It's almost a racketeering enterprise, which is not what our founding fathers wanted.
Yeah, I don't doubt.
I don't doubt, and it's been exemplified by the present administration in Washington, D.C., to a shocking degree.
I am appalled by the corruption we're getting from the Trump administration.
Let me ask have you run up against this issue that the United States went bankrupt and had to convert to a corporation so that the Constitution actually no longer applies, but we're under something other than?
Possibly what's called admiralty law.
Have you run up against this, Mick?
Well, you know, Jim, here's my answer to that.
They said the Constitution's Dedic no longer exists.
Here's the problem a corporation's a creation, it was created.
Who gave it the authority to be created?
The Constitution.
So if they kill the Constitution, the creator, the creation, the corporation, then ceases to exist.
Because there's nothing that gave it the authority to exist.
So, without the Constitution, the corporation's done anyway.
So, you have to have the Constitution.
It must still be there, it is still there.
The corporation, if you ever read the Clearfield Trust case, it said that when you use private script, Federal Reserve notes, and you bring people under this Admiralty jurisdiction, because it's a corporation, everything moves forward by contracts.
So, if I'm under contract, the first thing is your first thing learning in law school is the five rules of contract.
And one of the rules of contract is full disclosure.
So, where's the full disclosure that I'm in this corporate court?
I'm in this corporate government.
Where's the contract that I knowingly, willingly signed?
Not secret contracts like your driver's license, birth certificates.
Where's the disclaimer on my birth certificate?
Warning, mother.
When you sign this, you waive your kid's rights for the rest of his life in favor of corporate privileges.
Where's the disclaimers?
Where's the full disclosure?
And if you got to go to court in Admiralty Law, it's a corporate court.
Well, one of the documents they have to put in there is this contract because there's nothing in there as physical evidence that they have jurisdiction over you.
So, where's the contract?
So, there's lots of flaws that they're up against that they want to keep quiet.
So, this whole thing is a house of cards.
It literally is a house of cards.
And all they have to do is pull the card out, and this whole thing's coming down.
Thank You Jim And Mick00:05:44
That's why people are coming out of the ether so fast because they're starting to finally ask common sense questions.
You know, my trade, stock and trade, was a carpenter.
And as a carpenter, we have to know everybody's trade.
I have to know where to put backers for drywall, I have to know where to put the headers and support the doors and the roof.
I have to know where the plumbing is going to brace up the joists when they cut for the plumbing.
I got to know the size of the duct so I can put the joists for the duct work.
So you have to know everybody's job.
And that's what the people are finally understanding.
They can't just let everybody run this thing, they got to know everybody's job and what the hell is going on and what they've done to them.
And that's what's.
And the other thing is before 20 years ago, when me and Fred were first doing stuff, A lot of people weren't being touched by this.
They said, That's not happening in court.
That's not real.
But now everybody is being affected by this.
Corruption is so big that there's not a space that it hasn't infiltrated into.
So that's why I believe this thing is on an accelerated educational trajectory.
Well, make it seem to me, sending you to law school was a great investment and you're getting a tremendous return.
I'm very, very impressed by the document, your explanation, Fred.
I'm just delighted to have the two of you here today.
As we approach the conclusion of our conversation, I'd like each of you to give me kind of a summary overview of the situation.
Fred, let me begin with you.
Okay.
Thank you, Jim, for allowing us to come on.
A door opens in each one of our lives for a reason, for a cause, for a purpose.
And none of us expected many years ago to get behind Bob Schultz or Aaron Russo or any number of other people, including Ed Crosby, including your efforts, Jim.
Behind the scenes, but there have been so many examples where synchronicity correspondence kicks in.
We have a divine, higher power of providence involved in a lot of this that I put great, great weight in through prayer and understanding.
I know that there's a higher power involved in all of these connections.
And I want to just say thank you, Jim, for all of what you've done over many years.
And thanks to people like Mick Grady.
Who are doing great yeoman's work in the trenches for the cause of freedom and liberty.
So please read this document, get behind it, and stay in touch for further developments about this.
Yeah, I'm fascinated by the whole thing.
Mick, give us an overview here, concluding reflection, where things stand, where we go from here.
Well, I pretty much go along with Fred.
This is a spiritual fight.
This is not a.
Political.
They've made it political and they've made this government by political party.
This is not, you know, I do a lot of work with veterans, as you know.
I've never met one veteran that ever died for the Democratic or Republican Party and so or gave his legs or his mind from PTSD.
And so this is definitely driven and guided by God, who is the ultimate.
And this battle is good versus evil.
There's no doubt about it.
And I think he, the big carpenter upstairs, has his hand guiding this thing.
And he also has a bigger hammer than mine.
Let me ask if someone were interested in supporting your efforts with the right place to go to Liberty Atlas, wtv.net, liberty atlas, or where?
Yes, yes.
We the People, Television Network, Liberty Atlas, yes.
Okay, I mean, I'm going to include links to both in my description of the show, which will be posted at my BitChute channel, Jim Fetzer, later today.
And I just say, I think you guys are fighting a good fight.
I admire what you're doing, it's profoundly important to the future of the nation.
Fred, Mick, you guys are a terrific combination.
Very, very impressive.
And I want to thank you again for being here today.
We may have the opportunity in the future to do it all over again.
Meanwhile, everyone, spend as much time with your family, your friends, the people you love and care about.
We do not know how much time we have left.
Use it wisely.
