We begin with Glenn Greenwald, who visits Trump for the seventh time amid more threats of a U.S. attack on Iran.
Will the U.S. government base its policy toward Iran on its own interest or fight a pointless but costly war against Iran's Israel's prime enemy in the Middle East?
I think we know the answer to the question.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who has by far spent more time with President Trump than any other world leader, Netanyahu, who Wednesday, that would be today, will make his seventh visit to the U.S. since Trump's second term began a little over a year ago, on top of the visit to Israel made by Trump in October.
No other leader has visited the White House during Trump's second term more than twice.
The duo will once again meet at the White House.
Larry Johnson, decision has already been made to attack Iran.
Of course, that was done in, let's call it collaboration or coordination with Iran.
Or it is going, they're preparing for an Israeli attack and to be able to come back up Israel.
One of two things.
It didn't say it was just this was to try to force Iran to make concessions at the negotiating table.
The other, you know, sort of, I see it as a warning indicator, there's a former Under Secretary of Defense, a gentleman named Stephen Bryan.
And I know Stevens, I like him.
I consider him a friend.
We're acquaintances via email and Zoom calls.
But he's a Zionist.
And I'm not using that as a pejorative.
I mean, that's his view.
He believes that God gave that land to Israel and they have a right to occupy it.
However, he is very moderate.
He's usually very, he's not a Ben Gavir crazy or a Smotrich crazy.
And he writes good solid analysis.
Well, he put out a piece two days ago reacting to the recent negotiations between the United States and Iran.
They're very emotional.
I mean, just tearing Witkoff apart and describing that Iran is using a ropa-dope strategy, referencing Muhammad Ali Technique of allowing a puncher to punch out, you know, until they would exhaust themselves, and then he could strike back.
So, when I'm seeing someone like Steve get that emotional, you know that there is enormous pressure now coming down on Trump to attack it, to attack Iran.
And the issue now is, you know, they moved on from nuclear weapons.
It is ballistic missiles and support for Hamas and Hezbollah, which is just, you know, particularly the latter support for Hamas and Hezbollah, complete red herring.
The rhetoric and claims by Israel don't match the facts.
And I saw, you know, I saw your recent debate with his fellow Joel Rosenberg.
Thought you did an excellent job.
But again, he continued to put out the lies that massive terrorist attacks by Hamas and Hezbollah.
And if you just, you know, I challenge anybody, go do the research.
There are plenty of AI search engines out there.
Just ask the questions.
How many Israelis have been killed by Iranian proxy groups since 1982?
Because that's when Hezbollah came into existence.
And the answer is fewer than 5,000.
And you match that up against the 70,000-plus Palestinians that have been murdered by the Israelis during the course of the last two years and three months.
So it just doesn't add up.
So this is, Trump is under great pressure now to attack.
And I think that's one of the reasons B.B. Netanyahu's coming to town, not just to press Trump to do it, but also to coordinate.
I think it's highly likely we could see violence in the next two weeks.
Man, I hope I'm wrong.
I'd love to be wrong.
Yeah, I thought this debate was interesting because it's so dishonest.
But you see this always with arguments because they say, well, look at this government.
They treat their population so horribly.
And, you know, the whole pitch is quite manipulative.
But then when you ask, well, what do you tend to achieve with a military strike like this?
Because if you look at all your previous military adventurism over the past 20, 30 years, which one has ever led to success?
Good, good, good question.
Meanwhile, Hal Turner, trouble is on its way.
Net departs Israel for Trump meeting.
His commentary and analysis is very interesting.
Israeli Prime Minister Net Yeo has departed Israel on his way to the United States for a meeting with President Trump.
Many people have a feeling something wicked this way comes.
The official Israeli line is departing for the U.S., saying you meet with President Trump to address Gaza regional issues and above all the Iran talks.
He said he will lay out Israel's key principles.
Hal Turner, however, the most rational people, Net Yah, is not coming to lay out Israel's key principles.
He is instead coming to lay out Israel's demands.
Israel demands that Iran give up its nuclear program, demands Israel transfer all enriched Iranian, demands Israel limit its ballistic missile production and range, and demands Israel seize contact with Hamas Hezbollah and the Houthis in Yemen.
Iran.
Yeah.
If Iran, Israel, Iran.
Yeah, yeah.
If Iran refuses any of these demands, that will instruct Trump to go to war.
Why Trump would even listen to such demands is a wander.
It's not like Israel is important in any way.
They are a small country with a small economy that parasites off the United States.
But the political house here in the U.S. is addicted to the campaign money that comes from that group.
So politicians step and fetch for them.
It's pathetic to watch, but it is what it is.
Trouble is, Iran is not a small, weak country.
They're a large, powerful country.
This time, in my personal opinion, Israel is goading the United States into a terrible mess.
I think we're going to get a very bloody beating if we undertake Israel's demands.
The only redeeming aspect of this is my belief that Israel itself will get smashed by the Iranians.
Hopefully, it'll be sufficient to make them mind their own business and maybe behave like a normal country for a few decades.
But perhaps my hopes are too high.
Yes, I think they are too high.
Meanwhile, one more story here: Israel to strike Iran alone if necessary.
U.S. official told, I don't believe this for a minute.
Iran International Feb 8.
Israeli defense officials have told their U.S. counterparts recent weeks that Iran's ballistic missile program poses an existential threat to Israel.
And the country is prepared to act unilaterally if necessary.
Jerusalem both cited security sources as saying, We told the Americans we will strike alone if Iran crosses the red line.
We said on ballistic missiles, one source said, and that Israel believes Iran has not yet reached that threshold, but that Israeli officials are closely tracking developments inside Iran.
The sources said Israel has conveyed plans to dismantle Iran's missile capabilities and parts of its production infrastructure through a series of high-level exchanges with U.S. officials.
One defense official is at the current moment offered an historic opportunity to inflict a major setback on Iran's missile infrastructure and blame and blunt threats to Israel and neighboring countries.
Joachim, your thoughts, my friend, historic opportunity.
Well, we always get the bluster just before the actual decapitation strikes on the part of Israel and America.
And it's one and the same.
I mean, when you talk about Israel, you're talking about America because they're one and the same.
It's one country, really, led by the same evil cabal.
So basically, the situation is: yes, for the seventh time in a year, idiots coming over and demanding, but not only demanding, because they have all the goods on Donald Trump, the pedophile.
He is completely owned in control, both with the bribery and the blackmail, and does what he's told.
This old guy, who's almost like 80 years old and somewhat demented, I believe, at this point, and very reckless and psychologically impaired and ready to lash out revengefully toward almost anything that provokes him.
We live in a very dangerous time right now, more dangerous than any other time we've ever lived in.
And so, yeah, I think, I mean, first of all, there's an armada of ships, there's an armada of a number of troops, American troops that are stationed in the Middle East in multiple locations, and they're going to war.
You don't bring that kind of armaments and manpower, soldier power, just for a feign of show of force.
You know, you don't do that.
It's costing billions of dollars, and it's going to result in the inevitable.
We all know it, and we've been talking about it now.
You know, every time they come to the precipice, Trump kind of does his little taco, as Russ and a lot of others describe, where he, you know, decides to go against it and then goes back again for it.
But bop, but bop.
And so, yeah, it's going to happen.
Maybe he'll back off again, but inevitably, it's going to happen.
We all know this.
So, but when it does happen, yes, Iran is prepared this time.
They weren't prepared last June.
They are, I believe, very well prepared.
They know it's coming.
So, they've been preparing for a long time.
And their capacity to develop missiles is like 300 ballistic missiles a month, something crazy like that, far surpassing the U.S. capacity of construction of that kind of armaments.
So, you know, it's a done deal.
If the war goes on, the losers are Israel and America.
Yeah, Iran will be just, you know, partially destroyed.
But if it doesn't go nuclear, Iran will be the military victor.
And then they always have China and Russia to step in at any time because they're also ready to, you know, make sure the job is done.
So.
For decades, we've heard Israeli complaints, especially when Ubad Iran's on the verge of having a nuclear weapon.
It's no longer got to do with news.
Now it has they have ballistic missiles.
Now they have ties with Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis.
Now they have the ability to defend themselves.
Israel demands all that be dismantled.
What an absurdity.
What a ridiculous demand.
It shows this whole thing is haywire and purely political to promote the Zionist agenda, the Greater Israel Project.
Russ, your thoughts.
Well, Netanyahu flies in seventh time, and there's a photograph that I have up on Around the Web that shows him sitting at a table.
And around the table with him are five Jews, all whisperers of Trump, including Jared, Jared Kushner, Witkoff, three other guys that are generally well known as whisperers.
So that doesn't look well.
It doesn't look like there's any kind of like counter people to take the other side or to take the balance side in this or deliver a message to Detanyahu of restraint.
Not at all.
It looks completely the opposite.
Secondly, kind of what Joachim was alluding to, they've flown in some huge troop ships, troop carry, troop C-17s?
Yeah.

And I don't know how many troops those things carry, probably 800, 1,000, like a whole battalion or something like that.
And they've flown in just hundreds, I mean, almost more than any time in American history.

So that would be what, 100 and 112 battalions plus equipment?
Sounded like a division to me.
It's the biggest buildup of U.S. power in the Middle East ever.
Yeah, so they got, I don't know.
I don't know what that adds up to.
Maybe a division.
I don't know the size, but 800 million.
They all stand to be wiped out by Iran.
I mean, that's the insanity of this.
Iran is not going to keep the gloves on.
They're going to take them off.
It's going to be all-out massive retaliation.
The plan apparently is to do some kind of a leapfrog out into the desert, not go over the Zagros, which would be very easily defended by Iran, go out into the desert someplace with some kind of air cavalry attack or something like that, or take the C-17s and dump these guys off in the desert and drop them off and then start engaging with the Iranians out there and then make a big push for Tehran.
I mean, I don't know if that's just a decoy or some kind of propaganda the U.S. is throwing out there to Iran to try, you know, like a potty Kali type of decoy.
I don't know.
But it doesn't sound like, doesn't really sound like Robert E. Lee is or Patton is in control of the U.S. military here.

I would describe it as a harebrained plant.

Meanwhile, what do we have here?
A U.S.-led regime changed off in Iran is tantamount to a declaration of war on China from the Truth Seeker.
Here's why.
The height rumors of a military clash between U.S., Israel, and Iran did not appear overnight.
It's been years in the making.
Starting right after the Islamic Revolution and the Iranian hostage crisis, when then President Jimmy Carter hit Iran with the first economic sanctions.
Washington then used Iraq as a proxy in the 1980s to fight the Iranians in their bloody Iran-Iraq war.
Both sides lost about a million.
Whereas Saddam Hussein, then a U.S. ally, used mustard gas to wipe out tens of thousands of Iranians.
Since Israel is seen by many in the region as a hostile U.S.-British outpost in the Middle East, Iran fought back by engaging Israel through its Hezbollah proxy in Lebanon and Syria.
Israeli responded after the October 7th massacre, which they blame on Iran, but for which they themselves were responsible by helping engineer a coup in Syria and taking out Hezbollah commanders through military and intel ops, including exploding pagers.
Israel also assassinated Iranian commanders in the June 2024 12-day war.
Trump himself or the killing of Iranian General Qasim Solemani near Baghdad International Airport in an act of international perfidy the United States will never live down on January 3rd, 2020.
Now the whole dynamic appears to be coming to a head with what could be all-out war between the U.S. and Iran.
The important thing to know is this is not so much a war against Iran as is an attempt to further tighten the screws on China and Russia.
As was the war with Venezuela before the U.S. attacked that country and kidnapped its leader, Iran, represents a key source for oil, of oil for China.
Whereas China received about 5% of its total oil supply from Venezuela, received 19.8% from Iran, and it's actually 80% of the Iranian soil sales abroad.
So we have Joaquin returning.
China cannot afford to lose both Venezuelan and Iranian oil by cutting off China's access to cheap oil from its allies.
Washington hopes of force China to purchase oil from Washington or Washington-like countries at a much higher rate.
For example, China refiners save eight to ten bucks a barrel if they buy Iranian light crude over non-sanctioned Oman crude, according to calculations by a trader cited by Reuters.
China has the world's largest industrial base, making it very needy of a vast amount of energy to power that industry.
Take away 25%, and suddenly China's industrial base is in real danger.
We know most wars are fought over resources.
This one is no different.
All talk about Iran funding terrorism, killing its own people, is just a window dressing, meant to whip up war hysteria among the ignorant masses in America and the West.
Washington loves terrorism when it's carried out on its behalf.
That's why the Ukrainians can get away with assassinating Russian generals without a peep from Washington.
And the Israelis can go into whatever country they want and assassinate their top leaders.
If Russia, China, Iran did that, it would be called terrorism.
International geopolitics is ruthless and cunning and is carried out with zero regard for human life or basic morals.
It's also about projecting power and grabbing resources.
Joaquim, your thoughts, my friend, why this war is really against China, not just Iran.
Obviously is, yes.
And that's why China is not going to sit idly by and watch the Armuz Strait get closed and 20 to 25% of their oil needed for production of their manufacturing base that is the base of the entire world, allowing that to happen.
It's not going to happen.
They will intercede on behalf of Iran.
So, I mean, you know, it's opening the door to World War III.
There's no, it fans are a butts about it.
It's a definite World War III.
When you involve nuclear powers in a direct confrontational war against each other, it's World War III.
And so that's what we're facing.
You know, and I wanted to say also that Iran has the military capability, the technology.
They're very advanced.
And the U.S. and Israel don't even give them the credit because they have the hypersonic missiles in production that surpass any capability on the air defense systems of America and Israel.
So it's not going to end well for Israel and America.
And China, yeah, they're not going to have their economy go bust just because America and Israel terrorists are trying to ignite another war.
So it's just a horrible scenario we're all facing right now.

Well, as a data point on China that's interesting, they have a strategic reserve that's really huge.
They built it up.
I suspect that they've really been buying a lot of oil lately and distilling it and filling it and selling it.
So they could withstand a disruption for a while.
On the other hand, the United States, as everybody knows, has already depleted a lot of their strategic reserves.
Plus, the oil production in the United States peaked probably last November.
So we're already in peak oil as far as the United States goes.
So I don't know that the United States is in a good position to fight oil wars with China.
Don't know if the U.S. is in a good position to fight oil wars with China.
And all this buildup and talk by hags after going to war with China.
Well, I came that seem to be so colossally stupid.
You got the Secretary of Defense talking openly about going to war with China.
I'm just flabbergasted.
They'd be making this statement.
Incredibly stupid.

And what some monitors have forewarned looks like a build-up to a major war in Iran.
I couldn't agree more.
One regional watcher and pundit commented in response: 112 C-17s are in or on their way to Middle East, guys.
That's a lot.
Like Desert Storm, a lot.

This is I got some background on the C-17 here.
I'm looking at the specs on it.
Yeah.
And it carries about 585,000 pounds of whatever, you know, different goods and weapons and 102 troops or paratroops, so it doesn't really carry that many.
They're set up to evacuate wounded, about up to 90 ambulatory patients and attendants.
So they're almost like a medvac type of craft.
The United States has 157 on active duty.
So they deployed, what, two-thirds, three, four, 70% of their C-17 force to the Middle East?
Staggering.
But now not enough troops.
Maybe what?
12,000, 11,000, 12,000 troops.
That's not going to be enough to overrun.
We already have over 50,000 there, though.
Yeah, where are they located, though?
They're all over the Middle East.
Not in Iraq.
In Israel, especially.
They kind of evacuated Iraq.
Yeah, there's a lot going on here.
They're up, I guess, in Azerbaijan.
I have some up there.
So you're saying 50,000 plus 12,000 brought in to fight a war with Iran?
I don't think so.
It will not work, but yeah, the war is going to be a missile war and a drone war.
It's not going to be a conventional war.
Those troops are relatively insignificant.
Everything else that's going on matters more.

Let's talk about Alistair Crook, Israel's trap for Trump.

Is the Greater Israel domination project failing?
That long-term goal of the Zionists to expand Greater Israel?
Is it failing?
Israelis think so.
That's not different and more important than whether I think so.
But yes, increasingly, there is a feeling that this is getting nowhere, that Israel is becoming isolated, a pariah in the world, and that this has been a failure.
Because they look and they can see that Hamas is reconstituting itself in Gaza, that Trump is not allowing Israel to do what it wanted to do, which was to go into Gaza, say that the ceasefire is over, and then to destroy more of ceasefire and to kill more people there.
And they see Hezbollah as reconstituting itself and saying, so there is a real sense of crisis, crisis for the prime minister.
He's facing some really rough times over the 7th of October inquiry, which he's trying to gerrymander in his favor.
And then there is the Qatar inquiry, and people very much, Israel is deeply divided on this issue and on the issue about Iran.
So he is in a desperate situation.
We do have actually now two people in a desperate situation.
One of them is Netanyahu, who is becoming more erratic, more there's much more bluster and attempt to shout down his opponents.
And you have Trump, who is also desperate, albeit for slightly different reasons.
We'll get to the two of them together in Washington on Wednesday in just a moment, but you mentioned Gaza.
Is the right-wing Smotrich Ben-Gavir et al. Dream of mowing the lawn, removing or destroying all Palestinians from Gaza effectively over?
Not over, but it is delayed.
They're hoping that phase two, the Witkoff-Kushner plan and the plan to sort of create a sort of casino beachfront for Gaza, is going to fail.
They're counting on it failing.
They will try and help it to fail in order that they can go back to doing what they wanted, was to resettle Gaza and to remove the Palestinians from it.
But first, they have to get rid of the phase two that is being implemented by the United States and to bring it back to the first agenda they have, which is disarmament of Hamas first, and only later can there be any type of reconstruction in Gaza.
Let's segue into the US and Iran negotiations for a bit before we get to what you expect to happen in DC on Wednesday when Netanyahu arrives.
Hasn't Iran effectively rejected the demands made, articulated by President Trump and Secretary of State Rubio, not publicly by Mr. Witkoff, but publicly by the two of them.
Hasn't Iran effectively rejected them?
What sovereign country in its right mind within proximity of an adversary that wants to destroy it would voluntarily rid itself of its missiles?
What modern country, knowing the civilian, even medical uses of uranium, would agree to have no use of uranium?
And who wouldn't be financing their allies when they're surrounded by their enemies?
Well, it started off by, I think, Mr. Witkoff getting in touch with the foreign minister of Iran, Barachi, and proposing, you know, we need to resume the talks that they had before on the nuclear issue in Oman.
And the Iranians said yes to that on the understanding it was about nuclear issues only, and it would be in Oman.
And then suddenly, this was the deception.
Suddenly, it seems that Marco Rubio came in and said, no, no, no, it's actually not going to be in Oman.
We're going to have it in Istanbul.
And we are going to put in our favorite Arab mediators.
And that is Turkey, Qatar, and Egypt.
And they're going to pursue the Israeli agenda.
It was purely, they put out a statement saying, you know, yes, but no enrichment and also ballistic missiles, missiles on the agenda, and disarming of Hezbollah and Hamas, all of this.
It was the Israeli agenda and put it on and said, that's what you're going to discuss when you come to Istanbul, not quite what you had thought in Oman.
And this was a deception.
And then when Iran said, no, thank you, I mean, then the retort and an ultimatum came, said, listen, it's this or nothing.
And Iran replied, then it's nothing.
We're not accepting the talks.
There will be no talks, even though it was understood that might precipitate the beginning of conflict.
Iran said, no, either it's about the nuclear issue in Oman or no talks.
And Washington backed down.
So that's what it started.
And in those talks, I mean, again, I go back to what I said, I think, last week, was that they weren't negotiations.
They were negotiations about the framework for future negotiations on the nuclear issue.
And Iran says, we do not accept zero enrichment.
We will not give up enrichment, but we will talk to you about the nuclear issue.
And that's what it was discussing, the framework for that.
And then the Americans then brought in, they brought in the head of CENTCOM to the negotiations.
He didn't sit in it.
They were negotiating in different rooms.
But the Omanis brought in CENTCOM commander, General Cooper, came in intending to shake hands with the Iranians, and the Iranians wouldn't shake hands with him, and he was sent out of the room.
And after the talks, which Trump said was so successful and moving very well, then America imposed further sanctions on Iran and imposed a 25% tariff on anyone trading in any way with Iran.
So that was the backdrop to the whole negotiations.
There were the negotiations, and then immediately afterwards, more sanctions on Iran, more, if you like, tariffs on anyone doing business with Iran, ramping up of pressure.
So that's where we were at the end of the talks.
I think he's so good at laying out the diplomatic issues.
Joaquin, your further thoughts here, my friend.
Again, we see the same old pattern repeat itself over and over again, where an agreement is made by the U.S., and then they renegue on it.
Every single time they change their tune and come back more aggressively, demanding more things that are totally unrealistic.
They know Iran is not going to accept a reduction or cut down their missile production.
They know that.
They know that they're going to continue.
