	Putin has just unveiled a game-changing new nuclear-powered skyfall missile that is sending shockwaves in the NATO sphere.
	With unlimited range, Russia is sending a message that the NATO objective for the strategic defeat of Russia is finished.
	Meanwhile, the battlefield in Ukraine is crumbling fast in Russia's favor, and two U.S. military aircraft have mysteriously crashed in the South China Sea ahead of Trump and Xi's meeting in South Korea.
	Our next guest will not only help us break down the military and diplomatic significance of all of these developments, but also bring together the simmering tensions in West Asia, the Asia Pacific, and Latin America.

	Yes, so we have a development here, Alistair.
	Vladimir Putin had conducted a meeting with Valery Grasimov, chief of the general staff in Russia, saying that the Berevsnik missile, this new weapon that Putin had intimated about earlier this season, has now been unveiled.
	It is a nuclear-powered missile with unlimited range.
	They claim and they say, Putin and Grasimov, that this missile can evade any missile defense system that currently exists anywhere in the world.
	So I wanted to ask you, Alistair, given your experience in diplomacy and dealing with military affairs, what is the significance of this development?
	Why is Vladimir Putin Russia now coming out with this?
	Is this sending a kind of message?
	What's your take on all of it?
	Well, it's not a great surprise.
	It's been signaled for some time that it was coming, this new missile, and Putin has referred to it.
	And as far as I understand, the tests were completed last year, most of the tests.
	I mean, maybe there's more tests, but it's been tested and it's now for distribution to the armed forces.
	And I mean, the significance of it is really because of the threat by Trump to allow tomahawks to be exported to Ukraine and for those tomahawks to target deep inside Russia.
	He did make a suggestion.
	Trump made a suggestion then afterwards that he hadn't given permission for these missiles to be used or I mean, he wasn't talking about Tomahawk, but any missile, long medium-range missile to be used deep in the depths of Russia.
	However, the Wall Street Journal unusually pushed back against Trump on this issue.
	And he said, they said, listen, I mean, actually, the targeting details have already been passed.
	A stack of targets has been given to the Ukrainians, mostly refineries and some weapons manufacturers.
	These have been given to the Ukrainians as they already hold them.
	And so they and the authorization to use missiles for that purpose has been given.
	I have to say that it's important to understand that we saw recently Storm Shadow, a British French missile was fired, all claims that it was fired into pre, you know, 1914 Russia.
	And that they're saying that this is a use of a missile deep into the depth of Russia.
	However, the reality is that because Storm Shadow and indeed Taurus and all these European missiles actually have American components in it, that they're only really able to fire them with American permission.
	So they're not actually totally independent or autonomous, as Trump is trying to present at the moment.
	It's not us doing this.
	We're not doing anything.
	It's the Europeans.
	They're going to buy them from us.
	We're going to send them the weapons.
	And what they do with them, who knows?
	Maybe they'll send them to Ukraine.
	It's not quite like that.
	It's not quite.
	He's very good.
	And I play that lanky because we're talking about the potential for World War III, where the president of the United States, in whom so many of us have placed enormous confidence, may be tripping the switch that's going to lead to your and my disintegration in a nuclear Holocaust.
	Meanwhile, inflating Russian missile costs hides U.S. weapon crisis.
	The narrative that Moscow's war is unsustainable deflects from the real production and performance problems in American arms to Ukraine.
	The West likes to inflate the cost of Russian weapons as a way to suggest Moscow's in a financial bind and manipulate the narrative of a looming Ukrainian victory while also making real inefficiencies in the U.S.,
	masking real inefficiencies in the U.S. defense industry by assuming Russian weapons have input costs similar to U.S. systems or conflating export prices with Russia's internal costs.
	Western estimates produce misleading figures.
	These inflated costs bolster the narrative that the strain on Moscow is tremendous while downplaying the increasing challenge for Ukraine and NATO to effectively counter Russia's relatively inexpensive missiles and drones.

	Meanwhile, Max Blumenthal has reflected on the manner in which Israel continues to break, seize fires.

	And just a day after the Trump administration weirdly warned that Hamas was planning to break the ceasefire by attacking Palestinian civilians.
	Israel responded to the supposed violation with a wave of airstrikes that slaughtered scores of civilians in the Gaza Strip in just one day and by refusing to allow aid into the besieged enclave.
	Meanwhile, an unnamed Pentagon official revealed to media outlets that the Trump administration knew that Hamas had not attacked Israeli soldiers in Rafa and that they had been killed when their vehicles ran over an old IED.
	Today, Netanyahu seems desperate for some pretext to resume the war, and he's under mounting pressure to do so from the fanatical elements holding together his narrow coalition.

	Meanwhile, Vance and Israel blast a stupid political staunt, which was an insult by the Knesset, namely that vote to annex the West Bank by 25 to 24 in the 120C Knesset, which now moves a bill to the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee.
	This was something that Mary Madelson paid Donald Trump to do to annex the West Bank.

	She's got the money.
	Trump does what he's told or what he's paid to do.
	My opinion of this guy has gone right into the sewer, I got to tell you.
	He's not a worthy president, though I got to admit, it would have been insane to have embraced Kamala Harris and Tim Waltz.
	That was a ridiculous ticket that only a completely irresponsible party would have put up to run America.

	Nevertheless, look at that and understand the potential for unrest inside the United States.
	Why do you want to court this sort of thing with action overseas in other people's countries?
	I think you also have a flight of fantasy on the strategic level in Washington.
	Just as we used to listen to people all the time say, well, we have to split Russia and China if we can split then.
	Then we can bring in Russia on our side against China.
	What do you think?
	This is 1870, 1900?
	It's not.
	It's ridiculous.
	It's silly nonsense.
	Today, economic power is far more important than military power.
	And what we've forgotten is that as your economic strength and productivity declines, your military power falls behind.
	You know, this is almost gunboat diplomacy on the style of or in the style of Teddy Roosevelt.
	Well, we'll send a few gunboats and we'll send a battalion of Marines and we'll beat these people into submission.
	This is not going to work.
	It's a prescription for failure.
	But we have people strategically convincing themselves, well, we're flipping the board on Russia and China.
	They thought they were going to get into Venezuela.
	Well, they won't get there because we'll be there.
	You know, I remember Nicaragua.

	Back in the 80s under Reagan, there were all sorts of people, sadly, that I knew in the United States Army.

	The idea of it being commercialized.

	We know there's going to be a Wendy's.

	I think there's a lot of room for discussion and debate, but it's very reasonable to point out in terms of expenditure.
	Obama was expending a lot of taxpayer money on improvements at the facility that he wanted.

	Second point is you had a real good caller yesterday who's very well-meaning talking about the migrant invasion.
	And I kind of agreed with him to a point that some people have been displaced due to some of our actions in some of these other countries.
	But when you really dig into it a little bit, look at the facts, the vast majority of these migrants coming in, it was a planned operation between the U.S. government and the U.N. And number one, if you recall some of the stories that Major Cabinet Secretary Mayorkas,
	Alejandro Mayorkis, I remember reading stories about him being down in Panama, personally directing some of the construction of housing and some of the infrastructure down there so the migrants could have an easier time going through that country.
	So you can only imagine what kind of U.S. taxpayer dollars went to that.
	And then also there was a 2024 report from the UN called the Interagency Coordinator Coordinating Platform for Refugees and Migrants.
	This report outlined the fact that $1.6 billion of our money went to 17 Latin American countries.
	It was just designated to be spread out to the people that were planning on leaving their countries to come north.
	And it included $372 million taxpayer dollars for voucher assistance and all that that the illegals could use as they travel when they get to this to our country.
	So to me, it was a planned invasion.
	It was a way to create a new Democratic voter base.
	And also, like you said yesterday, right in line with the clergy plan.
	Don't you agree?
	Yeah, yeah.

	So it is going to be an attack on the local mainland oil producers if we get Venezuela's oil.
	It's just the big guys are just, the oligarchs are just going crazy.

	Another thing, Professor, Professor, why does Trump need to raise $100 million if he's a billionaire?
	I don't understand this part.
	And then he goes over there to Israel and tells them that he's corrupt.
	He tells them, yeah, give me $100 million and I'll do foreign policy for you.

	He's moving Jerusalem, you know, making our embassy Jerusalem giving him the Golden Heights.
	Now he's going to let a man the West.
	He's not really entitled to do it, in my opinion, Sean.
	This is all as corrupt as it could possibly be.

	No matter how much money I got in my account.

	Hey, on that last caller, you know, my bank has a limit like that too, but it's just to protect you against fraud and theft.
	You can call the bank because I had to charge like $4,000.
	And, you know, I just called the bank and said, hey, I'm going to, you got to raise the limit.
	But most of them do that as a daily limit to protect you so you don't get ripped off.

	Well, you know, I wanted to tell Tom this, you know, since Reagan, we've been hearing the Republicans make excuses about immigration.
	I think it's part of their southern strategy, you know, to get white guys to vote for them, working class white people.
	But, you know, take an issue like E-Verify.
	I remember E-Verify, Mitt Ramney, and all E-Verify does make sure that the person that they're hiring, they check their social security and make sure that that person is here legally.
	Yeah.
	That's all you would think that would be like step number one.
	Yeah.
	But that's not mandatory.
	They haven't made it mandatory on a federal level.
	There's only like 10 states that even have that.
	Yeah.
	I don't hear any Republicans talking about that.
	And they've had, they've had a majority in the House, the Senate, and the presidency so many times.
	Dan, Dan, Dan, look, I'm with you, and I don't understand how we can still be using electronic voting machines.
