According to multiple reports, including some out of China, there has been a military buildup in a particular geographic area opposite Taiwan that...

Let's turn to the wars that are and are raging and maybe about to escalate still further.

Is there any hope for diplomacy?
Is there any hope that we can work out some sort of modus vivendi with these people?
I think the answer is no.
I think if you're the Russians and you're the Indians and you're the Chinese and you're pretty much every other country in the world except for Israel and you're looking at the United States, you have to say to yourself, this is a rogue actor.
This is a rogue state.
This is a state that can't be trusted.
And you have to assume that worst case, you have to plan for that and you have to act accordingly.
This is not in our interest.
No, no, it's definitely not.
And that's with Russia, our geopolitical adversary, if you want to use that terminology, certainly not friend at the moment.
But I had lunch yesterday in Washington with a member of the diplomatic corps here, foreign diplomatic corps, who is from a country very friendly to the United States.
And this person runs in circles with other diplomats, et cetera.
And the guy told me about two particular issues with Japan and South Korea.
which were really, really unhappy about how they're being treated by the United States in these trade negotiations and how they're being coerced and forced into deals that are definitely bad for them, could be great for us, but it's not a win-win.
It's a lose-win.
And they are not happy at all about being forced to make these kinds of decisions about either a bad deal or a horrible deal to stick with the tariffs, et cetera.
And this person also told me that the Chinese have been whispering more into their ears, kind of along the lines you mentioned about trust.
Do you really want to hook your wagon to these guys and stay there long term instead of us?
And this person said, well, you know, there's some bad baggage from the Chinese and how we've been treated by them in the past as well.
But now we're listening.
Do you see any concerns that that listening could turn into action later?
Who knows?
I mean, I'm a structural realist, and I believe structure really matters.
And I believe if you're Japan and you're South Korea, the mere fact that you live right next door to China makes China a threat that can never approximate the American threat because the Pacific Ocean is...
is a huge body of water and we're far away.
All of that's to say that from a structural point of view, there are very powerful incentives for the Japanese and the South Koreans to ally with the United States no matter what.
But I'm sophisticated enough, at least I hope, to understand that structure has its limits.
And one could argue that if the United States continues to misbehave, if President Trump continues to slap our allies around, and here we're talking about the South Koreans and the Japanese, who are two of our most important allies, that at some point they will be forced to work out some sort of accommodation with China.
I think he's got it exactly right.
And Trump and the United States are no longer trustworthy, our word means nothing.
You know, it's been said to be an enemy of the United States is bad, I think Henry Kissinger said, but to be our friend is fatal.

There have been several mass casualties near the four sites run by the US and Israeli backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation since it began operating in late May.

UN reported Thursday that at least 859 Palestinians have been killed while attempting to receive aid at these sites between May 27 and July 31.

Meanwhile, the IDF destroys over 130 Hamas targets in weekend operations in Gaza.

The IDF ground and air unit struck more than one hundred and thirty Hamas positions over the weekend in northern, central and southern Gaza.

His comments followed sharp criticism from Israeli officials over his earlier suggestion when he left for the trip that Germany could respond to any unilateral Israeli actions with recognition of a Palestinian state.

Anyone familiar with material science understands that in conflict between two materials that dense, the more dense material invariably prevails over the less dense.
And you're talking about an aluminum aircraft that is mostly air.
That is flimsy in comparison to the massive 500,000 steel and concrete building.
And the, not only was it intersecting with eight different floors, each of which represented an acre of concrete on a steel truss, but the external steel support columns were very formidable, they were very heavy.
And, you know, I'm just suggesting the government had shells.
I mean, are people in position to make money from publishing nonsense?
And I'm telling you, this idea that the aluminum aircraft could have ever effortlessly entered a South Tower is just absurd.
It's just a physical absurdity.

If you look at the plan view, and by the way, I'm not convinced necessarily that it was a seven, what is that, a 767 or whatever.

Now, it was a missile that was fired from a Global Hawk, an unmanned aerial vehicle at the Pentagon.
They did have a plane flight toward the building and then swerve over it about the same time the missile hit to make it look as though the plane had hit the building, but it had not.
And even Jamie McIntyre, who was there on the spot, he was the CNN's best reporter by far, said from his close-up inspection there was no sign.
No sign that any plane had hit anywhere near the Pentagon.
And the guy is no fool.
He was reporting accurately what he saw.
And all the research I've done in collaboration with other experts, and they're typically more expert than I in various aspects, concur.
Now we're going back to the Twin Towers, and you're citing a report from MIT, which is an estimable institution.
Nobody's going to deny.
All the national rankings are going to have MIT second after Princeton.
And, you know, Yale and Caltech.
Yale actually turns out to be a fuddy duddy.
It's got a reputation.
It's not deserving.
Can I answer something about the topic?

It was years ago I was studying the Pentagon because I knew the plane supposedly flew through the Twin Towers, the South and North and South Towers.
So I wanted to know, I didn't believe the story about the Pentagon and I wanted to know and learn the destructive capability of these aircraft on the Pentagon.
That's because I said, how can the plane fly through the Twin Towers and not, you know, exact more devastation on the Pentagon?
That's when I swerved into the MIT study.
And I said, and then I kind of think of why did Jim Fetzer bump into this?
I wasn't even looking for that study.
It came to me when I was researching the Pentagon.
Well, studies like that, Mitchell, they're just rubbish.
They're just horse shed.
I've been dumbfounded that every engineer in the country knows better than to believe that planes entered those buildings or were responsible for them collapsing.
They didn't collapse.
The planes didn't enter the building.
It's all bullshit.
That's why when you brought it, I agree to I get it.

What I'm telling you is, been there, done that.
I know about these studies.
It's like Purdue put out a study that was an animation of the plane and it had it all on the level entering one floor.

We have, I think the keel beam runs wing to wing.
It runs a different direction than what you would expect on a ship.
We have two engines.
a compact those are compact bundles of mass there we have also what am i leaving out here we have the fuel tanks that were in the wings.
They were carrying 37 tons of fuel.
And all of this stuff, a lot of this stuff is not aluminum.
And this stuff is moving at 70% the speed of sound.
I looked up, bullets leaving a gun on the low side, I think, is 475 miles an hour.
On the high side is 2,050 miles an hour.
So it could be argued that that plane, in some cases, was moving as fast as a bullet leaving the barrel of the gun.
The fastest tornado ever clocked in history is 371 miles per hour.
That plane was moving at 536 miles per hour.
I don't think we're giving credit to the devastating capability of that damn airplane hitting that building, Jim.
That's all I'm saying.

Well, I think that the best evidence shows that it was a collision in and out.
There was nothing.
If that airplane had gone through the towers, okay, the ass end of the airplane would be sticking out.
