We do have some somewhat surprising news to report, including that Trump appears to have brokered a ceasefire with Ukraine and Russia, which of course is most welcome news.
What do we have in reporting?
Here we have U.S. brokers, Russia-Ukraine Black Sea truce.
After holding separate talks with the Russian and Ukrainian delegation, the U.S. announced both sides have agreed to allow commercial shipping to the Black Sea, bearing a similar arrangement established earlier in the war.
According to a Russian statement on the deal, Washington, Kiev, and Moscow agreed to the restoration of the 2022 Black Sea Grain Initiative in accordance with the agreement between the presidents of Russia and the United States.
Both sides are committed to implementing the Black Sea Initiative.
We have another report about it.
Trump scores breakthrough deal between Russia and Ukraine.
With Biden gone at least prioritized, Trump broke his first major Black Sea truce and energy strike ban since the war began.
President Donald Trump has secured two groundbreaking agreements between Russia and Ukraine establishing a ceasefire over the Black Sea and a mutual ban on strikes targeting energy infrastructure.
I'd say that's especially important.
Because that would include nuclear power plants.
This marks the most significant diplomatic progress in the war since Russia invaded Ukraine over three years ago, something the Biden admin failed to achieve in its entire pregnancy.
According to a White House statement, the U.S. will enforce a deal which includes guaranteed safe navigation in the Black Sea, eliminating the use of force in the region, A ban on attacks on energy facilities, ensuring the stability of vital infrastructure for millions.
A commitment by both nations to prevent the use of commercial vessels for military purposes.
This is the kind of deal only Trump could make strong and forcible and built on American leverage.
And it's no coincidence.
Both sides agreed after President Trump personally spoke with Ukrainian President Zelensky and Russian President Putin last week.
Joaquin, what do you make of this?
Big deal?
Not. Well, it's a start.
It is a start.
It's a beginning.
You know, and hopefully it'll just expand.
What's already been established, and supposedly there was a deal where it was brokered where they were not going to try and destroy energy infrastructure, and that's already been broken repeatedly by Ukraine.
And of course, we know that there is a pattern, just as Netanyahu in Israel has the same pattern.
I'm inclined to think that U.S. and Israel and Ukraine fit into that category of you can't trust them.
So, yes, it's positive at face value.
Let's see where it goes.
Let's see if it's honored by both sides and build from there.
But I have to say, based on history of their records, I can't think that Ukraine is going to basically be pledged to honor this commitment.
Yeah, and you know, you got this lieutenant general advising Zelensky that if Ukraine's going to lose it, where they should blow up all their nuclear power plants, saying we'll die, but we'll take them with us.
Russ, your thoughts?
Well, the war is raging on stronger than ever.
So, I mean, it's nice that they can agree on some side issues.
That's probably the idea, from Trump's point of view, is to try to get a little momentum going.
But it really is, they're a long, long ways off from settling this war.
Even with ceasefires, there's a lot of people still dying.
And the Russians are kind of on the move.
And the message they're sending out, I think, is, you know, The sooner you make peace, the more territory you're probably going to be able to keep because we're not going to give territory back up.

Zelensky is so detached from reality.
He's suggesting he won't even accept UN peacekeepers.
Russia would reject him.
But he won't even...
Except UNP schemers, they got to be NATO, which is another way of trying to make Ukraine like a covert member of NATO, which of course was one of the major issues over which the war was fought.
I mean, it appears Zelensky really has no interest in ending the war.
Joaquin. Well, I think that's been shown by United Kingdom and France and maybe a few others in Europe as well.
So, yeah, it's an uphill battle that Trump is waging to try and bring peace to that part of the world, especially as long as Zelensky is still the president there.
I think that the guy has got to go before any kind of permanent peace settlement is made.
He's just out of whack with reality in everything he does and says.
It's just way off base and proven to be false.
As long as he's there, he's going to resist, it seems, right to the end.
And I believe his end is coming.
Yeah, I think you make very good points.
You know, the thing is, though, he's got the backing of at least most of the Europeans.
That's a big problem.
You know, they're saying, we've got your back.
And I don't know what the oligarchical system in Ukraine is, but they apparently aren't really ready to replace him either.
Logic would dictate that he should be replaced with somebody a little more neutral, but apparently they want to fight and die some more.
What is Europe's interest in keeping this war going?
It's rather clear.
When you have Macron suggesting France can provide a nuclear umbrella for an effort going to war, Europe going to war against Russia, which, of course, is lunatic.
I mean, NATO is supposed to be a defensive organization.
Plus, it turns out French nukes under their laws can only be used to defend France, not as an umbrella for an attack on Russia.
They want war with Russia.
And I ask, what is the motive?
I think the motive is do what you're told.
They're all lapdog vassals that just simply, I think, followed City of London orders, which is to go to war, you know, against Russia.
And they keep coming out with the same broken-down logic that is not reality, that...
Russia is trying to resurrect the Soviet Empire 2.0, and they won't stop at the Polish border.
You know, I mean, it's all this paranoia that's not founded in reality.
And we've seen this broken record over and over.
They all have it.
The Baltic states, UK, France.
I think Germany's not quite with them as strong, but they will go along.
But yeah, as long as we have those northern Baltics and the UK and France, there's enough momentum that they have to plunge into World War III in Europe.
It's a very dangerous situation.
Well, Europe wants to rearm.
They've announced a half-a-trillion-dollar rearmament program.
How long is that going to take to implement?
That's years in the making.
So they have a huge gap in the meantime that they have to play some kind of stall game, and I guess they're using Ukraine for that.
So as long as they can keep Ukraine fighting for them, then Europe can go about the rearmament program and have a little bit of a time lag to operate.
But it's pretty costly.
I also think that their economy is about to crash, and they're trying to go to the wartime economy, at least to boost them up, even if it's a false foundation of prosperity, actually.
But I think that's part of their motivation, to go to that wartime economy, because they haven't got any other economy now.
And of course, America is not far behind.
I agree with that.
That's a very astute observation.
Is it part of the plan, then, to actually defeat Russia and carve it up into parts for its natural resources, which Putin estimated at, what, $88 trillion?
I mean, it was inadvisable that he made that statement because bankers just began salivating over the prospect.
I think that's been the Western...
I don't know.
Ever since the Cold War began, I think, you know, and, you know, it's a fantasy.
It's not going to happen.
But these morons, you know, that do what they're told are, you know, still going to go on that.
They think that they can do that, so they say.

They're just playing a game.
It's just charades.
It's theater.
I don't think they really believe it.
You have to be insane to actually believe that you're gonna defeat Russia, break it up, and steal their resources.
It ain't gonna happen.
I think there's another angle because, unfortunately, they fucked around and they found out because Russia is now fully mobilized.
God knows how many veterans they have.
And they have guys in the field who know how to fight now, you know, after two years of warfare.
And I think Europe's probably afraid of that, especially since the United States is stepping away from the defense.
I mean, just imagine waking up one morning and all of a sudden Trump's in office and he's...
Threatening to pull out of NATO.
He's threatening to stop funding NATO.
And then, I mean, that's a real wake-up call for Europe.
So, yeah, I don't think they think they can necessarily overrun Russia.
But I think that they're afraid of him at this stage because they've mobilized him and got him pissed off.
I mean, that's the reality.
Yeah. And Russian military superiority so far outweighs them.
Their productivity and weapons making is so much more advanced.
You know, they've been fighting this war for now over three years.
So, I mean, Europe is no match.
They don't even have weapons now.
And their army is very small.
NATO is a...

And obviously, if Trump pulls out, forget it.
You know, it's over.
Well, that's the leverage that Trump has to try to bring about a peace.
So, man, it's really a tightrope, though.
Why do they keep floating the fantasy that Russia wants to take over Europe and reestablish the Soviet Empire?
Well, you know, I don't think they do, but they're mobilized.
They're a mobilized threat to Europe.
If you're sitting here in Prague like I am, what's between the Ukraine buffer?
Let's say the Ukraine buffer falls and they're reduced to, what, 100,000 troops?
Then you have nothing in the way of Russians coming into Europe.
I mean, it's just the logistics.
So, I mean, you've got to have a defense.
You've got to be able to defend your countries and your...
And you're a continent.
And I think that they've really fucked up.
They got Russian mobilized.
They poked the bear and got them all mobilized.
And somebody dumb in power did that.
And it's actually the neocons in America.
And I'm always doing the basketball coach analogy.
They never get fired.
They never get fired for their mistakes.
And then there's other people left to pick everything up.
And now Europe has to pick up this failed neocon.
And be concerned about Russia, because Russia is mobilized.
You can't just ignore an angry, mobilized country.
I'm just being realistic.
My view is it's a fantasy.
It's false.
Putin has no intention or ambition to take over Western Europe.
He has zero.
He's smarter than that.
History of warfare, they might want to crush Europe.
That's the fear.
I don't think he wants to rule them.
It's not about ruling.
It's just crushing it.
I think he can do it economically.
I think he can do it economically.
So do I. I think Europe's run out of gas, that they just have nowhere to go, and they're petrified at the U.S. pulling out of NATO, which I think is a very good thing.
Yeah, the U.S. pulling out of NATO, and they've got Russia mobilized.
That's the issues right there that they have to deal with.
And they're not ready.
They need to spend a lot of money on rearmament, and I think they need to do that.
They need to defend themselves.
I'm almost inclined to say we, because I'm kind of a quasi-European now.
We need to defend ourselves.

Meanwhile, with all the hysteria about Iran, we now have a new report.
Tulsi. Iran not building a nuclear weapon.
I mean, I love this.
The annual threat assessment said there's no evidence Ayatollah Khomeini has reversed his ban on producing nuclear weapons.
U.S. intel agencies have reaffirmed that there's no evidence Iran is developing nuclear weapons or that the Iranian Supreme Leader has reversed his 2003 fatwa banning the production of weapons of mass destruction.

The intelligence community continues to assess that Iran is not building a nuclear weapon and Supreme Leader Khamenei has not authorized the nuclear weapons program he suspended in 2003.
Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard told a Senate Intelligence Committee hearing.
Gabbard's comments were based on the annual threat assessment.
Released by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence with input from all U.S. intelligences.
The report did note there have been more calls inside Iran to reverse the ban on nuclear weapons, which have grown in response to Israeli aggression in the region.

In the past year, There's been erosion of a decade-long taboo on discussing nuclear weapons in public.
That's emboldened nuclear weapon advocates within Iran's decision-making apparatus, the report reads.
Khamenei remains the final decision-maker over Iran's nuclear program to include any decision to develop nukes.
The threat assessment comes amid increasing U.S.
sanctions and threats of military action over Rand's nuclear program.
Iranian officials have rejected the idea of talks with the U.S.
in the face of Trump's maximum pressure campaign, but they have said the door is open for indirect negotiation.
Joaquin, your thoughts.
Yeah, I was kind of surprised to see that even the CIA went along with this, apparently, with that assessment, that they are not developing nuclear weapons.
You know, so yes, this is good news and a surprise, a big surprise, because obviously, you know, the CIA has always been war lovers and war makers.
So that's positive news, big time, really.
And, you know, if you think about it, I think that Iran has every reason to develop, certainly, you know, for...
Energy purposes, but even for military purposes.
I mean, you look around the world at all the nations that do have nuclear weapons now, and there's always one side versus the other to balance and deter.
That's the whole principle, the principle of deterrence, to keep from blowing ourselves up.
Well, what balance does the Middle East have?
Or, for that matter, what balance does you...

Oh, my God.
Because, like, there's India, Pakistan, okay?
They neutralize.
There's Northern...
There's Europe, Western Europe, primarily, and America versus Russia.
You know?

Because basically, Iran have versus the nukes that have always been there, you know, since the Kennedy days trying to stop it.
There is no balance.
So, yeah, I mean, I'm actually for it, for deterrence's sake.
But, hey, if they're not developing, give them credit and back off, Trump.
Yeah, well, can this be the then for Trump to tone it down?
I mean, he's been pushed by Bibi.
He wants nothing more than for the U.S.
to attack Iran.
I think Iran has nukes.
I just don't think they're publicizing it, and they're kind of keeping it under wraps.
And if they don't have nukes themselves, they've been given some by Pakistan.
So I think they have the ability to deliver some nuclear warheads right onto Israel.
And so this might be a way of sort of actually keeping the pot boiling by signaling to Israel or signaling to the world, well, they're still in development phase, but they're very, very close.
And then there's factions within Iran that want to do this.
So to me, this seems like a tactic that would bring about a preemptive strike.
Very subtle.
Very subtle psychology at work here.
I think they're lying.
They're lying about this intelligence report.
I don't trust them.
In the past, I felt that Iran actually did have the nuclear development going for weapons also.
I think they got them.
I think they've got some.
But I don't know.
I don't have the intel.
But I would think, though, that the intel of America, under Trump especially, wants to say, well, they got the nuclear weapons now, so we have every reason to go after them to stop them.
Well, in a way, it's too late then.
Think about it.
If they actually have the nuclear weapons, it's a little bit late to go in and strike their nuclear facilities if they've got the weapons tucked away.
Think about it.
It's actually the reverse.
You follow?
There's that deterrence principle again.

Yeah. They have allowed of recent vintage, I mean, just the last couple of days, that they have plasma weapons the world's never seen.
I do believe Iran is actually prepared for a U.S. attack.
You know, we have the president say, do whatever the hell you're going to do, Trump.
And I think he's calling his bluff.
But Trump, you know, with your savage attacks on Yemen, which I find stomach-churning, you know, I don't know what to make of this guy.
He has a thuggish foreign policy.
I find it completely reprehensible.
What's he going to do in relation to Iran at this point in time, given this report?
Russian projection?
Well, you know, the other thing to look at, and you probably got it in your news clip notes there, is this little scam that they did with the Atlantic and this Goldberg character.
Yeah, we're going to come to that next.

Well, I think that kind of ties in because I think that was a psyop, too.
I think they were just basically trying to intimidate Iran.
That's what that was all about.
By declaring to the world, oh, look, we actually have the orders all written and the planes are about ready to be launched at certain times and all this kind of stuff.
And, oh, we had to kind of call it off because it spilled.
I mean, what an absurd story that was.
It was just like a total psyop.
Yeah. Goldberg, do you trust anybody by the name of Goldberg from the Atlantic?
He was leaked the story so they can intimidate Iran.
Yeah, I took it as that, and I wrote about that.
But getting back to Iran and nuclear, I think that Iran is basically trying to tell the world that they don't have it, but at the same time, yes, they could be developing.
Just for basically self-defense, it may come out in the end.
But the positive is, well, here's the negative.
Trump, you know, his election promise, he's big on those election promises and then doesn't deliver on a bunch of them.
But he tries to come off like...

Well, here we have Newsweek reporting on this apparent security lapse, which you're both suggesting was actually a deliberate setup in order to intimidate Iran by describing the package of weapons that was going to be used against Yemen.
On March 24th, the Atlantic editor-in-chief Jeffrey Goldberg published an article claiming it was included by a parrot accident.
In a chat group on messaging app Signal, where plans for American airstrikes on the Houthi militant group in Yemen were discussed on Wednesday.
The Elaine published more complete versions of the messages with some redaction for security purposes after President Trump said it wasn't classified information.
The Pentagon, River Newsweek, to the National Security Council when asked for comment on the apparent security lapse.
The NFC did not immediately respond to a request for comment, but a spokesperson for the agency previously confirmed to Goldberg, the signal group appears to be an authentic message chain.
Now here's Secretary of Defense Hegseth talking about it.
How war plans against the Houthis in Yemen was shared with a journalist in the Atlantic, and were those details classified?
So you're talking about a deceitful and highly discredited so-called journalist who's made a profession of peddling hoaxes time and time again to include the, I don't know, the hoaxes of Russia, Russia, Russia, or the fine people on both sides hoax.
Or suckers and losers hoax.
So this is a guy that pedals in garbage.

Why were those details shared on Signal?
And how did you learn that a journalist was privy to the targets, the types of weapons used?

Why it matters, according to Newsweek, a wave of U.S. airstrikes on the Houthis on March 50, killing 53, according to Yemen's health ministry, which is run by the group.
Additional airstrikes followed.
Details of U.S. military ops are not supposed to be conducted over publicly available platforms such as Signal.
A number of security actors have said the chat group.
Could have violated the Espionage Act.
Head of the 2016 presidential election, Trump focused heavily on Democrat rival Hillary Clinton's use of a private email server for official business as Secretary of State so she could exclude public access by maintaining.

What to know?
Newsweek. has reproduced all the signal group messages published by the Atlantic, either by being written out by Goldberg or included in the article as screenshots.
It's unclear what proportion of the messages the Atlantic chose to make public, and some details work out secret for security reasons.
Then, Thursday, March 13th, White House National Security Advisor Michael Wall's team Establishing a principles group for coordination on Houthi, particularly for over the next 72 hours.
My deputy, Alex Wong, is putting together a Tiger team at deputy's agency chief of staff level, following up from the meeting in the sit room this morning for action items, and will be sending that out later this evening.
Please provide the best staff point of contact for your team for us to coordinate.
Well, I see that as a possibility, and I also see it as...
Something that the Democratic Party has, you know, fictionalized to a certain extent, you know, because they, you know, you ask who has the most to gain, and obviously it gives a lot of, you know, retribution power to the Democrats that have been on the losing side for quite some time as far as their reputation.
So, you know, it puts them on the attack mode to try and You know, they're calling for resignations of Hegseth and Waltz and probably others, too.
So, you know, there's different angles to it.
Obviously, it's seen as somewhat of a liability, oops, on the Trump part, his team.
But, you know, yeah, I'm not certain what to make of it.
It could be complete psyops for intimidation purposes of Iran, but it could be other political...
Angles as well, more partisan bound.
But, you know, I think maybe, and I can't trust anything that comes out of the media, you know.
So I'm very skeptical as to us getting to the bottom of it.
Because I am inclined to think that it's a ruse, it's a psyops.
It's false.
It just has a lot of fakery about it.
But we need to know more information, and I don't know about even trusting that information.
Rush? Well, there may be some war plans.
They might have been legitimate things that they're working on.
And since all these departments are just filled with Zog agents, Zionist-occupied government, it would be very, very easy for somebody...
To slip the information onto this Israeli agent that writes for the Atlantic.
And who knows what kind of pressure points Israel is putting on Trump right now.
We don't really know what's going on in the back channels.
Or it could just be part of their overall psyops to get things stirred up against Iran and against the Houthis and get things rolling.
Because it's kind of going kind of slow, really.
Not really developing very fast, so the Israelis are always going to be in play.

You know, for multiple purposes, there's different angles to all of this.

I hope things get ironed out as far as some kind of grasp of what really happened.

A day before the airstrikes, an account labeled J.D. Vance expressed misgivings about the idea of targeting the Who team.
I'm out for the day doing an economic event in Michigan, but I think we are making a mistake, the Vance account said.
He framed his opposition based on President Trump's policy toward Europe, which had involved pressuring the Europeans to pay more for their own military to be less reliant on the U.S. That pointed out that only a small percentage of U.S. shipping goes through the Suez compared to European trade.
The message said 3% of U.S. trade runs through the Suez.
40% of European trade does.
There's a real risk that the public doesn't understand this or why it's necessary.
The strongest reason to do this is, as POTUS said, to send a message.
Vance continued, I'm not sure the president's aware how inconsistent this is with his message on Europe right now.
There's a further risk that we see a moderate to severe spike in oil prices.
I'm willing to support the consensus of the team and keep these concerns to myself, but there is a strong argument for delaying this a month, doing the messaging work on why this matters, seeing where the economy is, etc.

But in fact, for anyone, like when the DHS cut deals with the Sonola drug cartel, which allowed thousands of tons of their products in the United States, the DHS is a Century Members Program, where these trusted travelers only have a 10-second borderway to special speed fast lanes.
And then if you Google century member arrested, there's over 200,000 results.
That's where they're taking out these rivals for these drug cartels, which are managed by the CIA.
Anyway, they allow the drugs in there to create commerce, to cause licenses to be revoked, insurance companies to charge more and all this stuff, you know, the funding of local police, the new prowler cars, the new debtors.
You know, this is all to facilitate commerce to then have your Privatized prisons, monopolize off the slave labor that they have in the prison system.
Again, if China has 1.4 billion people, why does America, with 330 million, have more in prison than they do in China?
And it's the same thing when they did this in Syria, that worth of CIA effort.
