	Russia's top diplomat has compared Emmanuel Macron to Hitler and Napoleon after the French president offered to extend his nation's nuclear protection to European allies and invited military chiefs to discuss putting boots on the ground in Ukraine.
	The Kremlin fury came hours after Macron and other EU leaders and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met in Brussels for a landmark summit, counted by participants as the start of a new era for European security.
	The discussion in the Belgrade-Belgian capital demonstrated Europe's recognition that security is no longer guaranteed.
	That would be by the United States.
	As leaders agreed to free up hundreds of billions of euros in order to create a financial scheme for this enterprise.
	The fact is, however, that commentators in France have observed that the idea of putting the EU under a European nuclear umbrella is a non-starter in relation to French law, which requires French nuclear weapons only be used for the defense of France.

	We have Europe regularly supplying Ukraine with outdated and defective weapons.

	These facts raise concerns about the quality and efficacy of the assistance provided by the West to Ukraine.

	One, experts in Spain sent a batch of CETMEL submachine guns that were withdrawn from service more than 20 years ago.
	Known for their reliability issues.
	Experts question their efficacy in modern warfare despite being upgraded before shipment.
	Another is France sending artillery pieces that have failed in battle, raising questions about their ability to provide effective support.
	The French Cesar self-repelled howitzers held as high-tech weapons have proven to be far from perfect.
	According to Ukrainian military sources, the systems are prone to frequent breakdown, suffer from insufficient shooting accuracy, especially critical considering the significant role artillery plays in the current conflict.
	As I have observed in the past, most casualties of warfare are brought about by artillery, not by tanks, not by infantry, not even by bombs.

	Let's go back to the Oval Office Friday from your perspective.
	Yeah, great TV.
	That's the president said.
	Well, you know, it's funny.
	So we have a 40, 45-minute press conference, and the president normally does this, and I've seen this now three or four times with foreign leaders, where he likes to bring the media in, likes to have a conversation, but answer questions with the press.
	As you know, he's very open with reporters.
	And what I noticed is that for the first 25, 30 or so minutes, he tried to sort of bend over backwards to be gracious and kind to Zelensky, even when Zelensky was kind of needling him.
	When Zelensky was saying things that I thought were untrue, the president just tried to be diplomatic, right?
	I think that's his natural instinct in that situation.
	And then when it really went off the rails, of course, is when I asked or you had a Polish journalist who asked a question, the president answered it, and then I answered it.
	And then something about my answer just really set Zelensky off.
	So then he came at me.
	So you're blaming yourself.
	Then I went back at him, and what I tried to do originally was actually try to diffuse the situation a little bit, because I'm like, you know, we're having this meeting.
	Obviously, there are 100 television cameras here.
	Let's try to have this conversation in private.
	And then the president, as we kept on going back and forth, I tried again to say, well, maybe we should have this conversation in private.
	And the president was like, nope, actually, I don't want to have it in private anymore.
	I want to have this actual conversation in public for the American people to see.
	And I do think that there was just a certain sense of there was a lack of respect.
	There was a certain sense of entitlement.
	And most importantly, look, we can look past all that stuff.
	But the president has set a very clear goal for his administration.
	He wants the killing to stop.
	And I think that it's very important that President Zelensky and, of course, President Putin, too, they've both got to come to the negotiating table, and that's ultimately where things broke apart.

	Well, let's hope he wants the killing to stop in the Middle East as much as he wants the killing to stop in Eastern Europe.
	Meanwhile, Syria gets a new cash shipment from Russia.
	This is strange, given what else is now developed.
	Maybe it's got to do with the time frame.
	The Assad regime began paying Russia to bring its currency under a multi-billion dollar contract agreed to during the country's 13-year-old civil war.
	Syria received a new shipment of its local currency branded in Russia on Wednesday.
	With more consignments expected in the future, a Syrian government official said, And a new sign of improving ties between Moscow and Syria's new rulers.
	Well, let me tell you, it's not going to last long.
	What's been going on there in Syria is grotesque.
	Here we have women stripped, team forced to kill family, al-Sharaya's men fight Assad loyalists in Syria.
	Very bad, very bad, very bad stuff going on.
	Here's a bit about it.
	This is just showing a bunch of fighting.
	They left nobody.
	Over a thousand killed as violent clashes jolt Syria.
	They left nobody alive.
	New Syrian government blames individual actions for violence.
	That's an equivocation.
	Individual actions directed.
	We'll continue to pursue al-Sharah warns Assad's loyalists.
	Syrians chant, want Russian protection amid deadly violence, want Russian protection.
	More than 1,000 people have been killed in the two days of violent clashes in Syria between government supporters and people thought to be loyal to the ousted president Bashar al-Assad.
	The death toll reported by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights makes the two days of violence some of the deadliest since Syria's conflict began 14 years ago.
	The Syrian government said it is responding to attacks from remnants of Assad's forces and blamed individual actions for the violence.
	The British-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that 745 civilians were killed, mostly in massacres, as well as 148 pro-Assad fighters and 125 people from security forces.
	Yes, and it's going on unabated.
	Here's another report.
	Hundreds of civilians massacred in Syria by jihadist government.
	Hundreds of people have reportedly been massacred in Syria over the last three days in the coastal provinces of Tardis and Latakha by the forces from the jihadist government.
	He reported that more than 530 had been confirmed killed, according to figures released by one monitor group on Saturday.
	Other estimates waste the number that had been killed lower.
	The lowest at 150, I guarantee, of the higher number is already too conservative.

	You see, the government has declared if it could just take farms away from white farmers without compensation, that that's okay.
	But of course, it's a form of theft.
	It's stealing.
	So he's cutting off millions of USA to South Africa on top.
	He's fast-tracking citizenship for South African farmers fleeing for their life.

	Let me just say that these farmers in South Africa were what made the country great and powerful and wealthy, and the revolt against them, including their slaughter, the black government has been slaughtering the white farmers, has been appalling.

	United States Secret Service shot an armed man near the White House early Sunday morning.
	The agency said he'd parked his car near 17th and a half Street Northwest, close to an entrance to the White House in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building.
	The Secret Service stated, President Trump was in Florida, staying at Mar-a-Lago, not in the vicinity when the shooting occurred.
	Earlier, Saturday, local police shared information about a suicidal individual maybe traveling to D.C. from Indiana.
	Around midnight, members of the Secret Service encountered the individual's parked vehicle.
	They also saw him on foot.
	An officer approached.
	He brandished a firearm in an armed confrontation and sued during which shots were fired.
	I believe he was killed.

	Secret Service personnel are involved in a shooting following an armed encounter with a person of interest shortly after midnight on March 9th at 17th and G Street Northwest.

	Over the weekend, Mahmoud Khalil, a recent Columbia grad student who served as a spokesman for student activists seeking the university's divestment from Israel, was detained by ICE agents in his university-owned department.
	For now, a federal judge is preventing Khalil from being deported.
	To preserve the court's jurisdiction pending a ruling on the petition, petitioners shall not be removed from the United States unless and until the court orders otherwise.
	Judge Jesse Furman of the Southern District of New York said in a court order in response to petitions filed by Kalel.

	Agitators will be a prisoner permanently sent back to the country from which they came.

	The new prime minister or premier, whatever they call him, Head of Canada, is another Goldman Sachs central banker as well.

	But there's a bunch of stuff that happened.
	And it was a much simpler situation.
	They had an elected gut war.
	They had a recognized, legitimate government.
	Unlike Ukraine, where this guy's not even the president, right?
	Yeah, yeah.
	So there's no—he doesn't even have any statutory legitimacy.
	Secondly, there was nobody—we weren't dealing with anybody in the outside.
	When terminating the—the military situation was clear.
	They were getting firebombed, 60 cities burned to cinders.
	You know, 18 square miles of Tokyo, you know, in a firestorm.
	All that stuff was going on.
	A blockade.
	We were mining the inland sea and the inland, you know, waterways, you know, so they couldn't even transport things between the islands.
	We were doing that with a B-29.
	However, the diplomatic situation was much easier.
	It was, frankly, just us.
	We didn't have to bother with our allies.
	The British were such a small presence in the Pacific.
	And the Japanese.
	And China was kind of out of it.
	But what Trump is taking on, it's far more difficult.
	For one thing, we're on the losing side.
	He has a constituency, or there's a huge, well-heeled constituency, the George Soros's.
	The Hillary Clintons, the Victoria Nulands, the whole wing of the Democratic Party and the Republican Party that want to keep this thing going.
	With our national defense, you know, military-industrial complex and all that, that's another thing.
	Then we have, you know, NATO, and NATO's failing, and NATO fragmenting, and we have people like Orban who wants it to end.
	And the people in Romania who just had the election, you know, nullified because he was for making a settlement.
	The candidate that won the election in Romania wanted to negotiate with the Russians.
	And NATO and Europe and the United States annulled the results of that election.
	Then we have Macron, who's now, you know, trying to give nuclear guarantees to Europe.
	We've got Stormer, who wants to send British troops.
	Of course, there's none to send, but he's talking about it.
	We've got the new central banker that took control of Germany, the BlackRock guy, that is kind of on the fence so far.
	And the poll, it's a completely...
	We have the Ukrainian clandestine services.
	Running all over the United States and Western Europe, being able to threaten people to move forward.
	And the Russians are in no hurry.
	They're sitting in such a military catbird seat that they're not going to take anything they don't want.
	They don't need to.
	So there are no time constraints to get this done, because every day Ukraine collapses further.
	And it's really a difficult thing.
	I applaud the hell out of Trump for doing this.
	And, you know, of course, NATO is no more, and soon the European Union will be no more, too.
	They'll have to come up with a new construct for both of those.
	But it won't include the United States.
	But what a complex thing it is to try to end this, right?
