Not just anybody You know, I need someone.
I was younger, so much younger than today.
I never needed anybody's help in any way.
But now these days have gone out and not some self-assure.
But I'll find the gentle mind.
I hope I love the door.
Don't be a big man.
I'm feeling down.
And I do.
The age of being round.
Don't get my feet back on the ground.
This is Jim Fetzer, your host on The Raw Deal, right here on Revolution Radio Studio B.
The 7th day of March, 2025.
Today's show is going to be more powerfully bifurcated than most.
Because during the first segment, I'm going to report news developments that are extraordinary and very threatening.
But then I will introduce a brilliant attorney, Dina Pollard, sex-turned-health and exercise guru, who's going to help us to learn how to live healthier, more productive lives.
But I got to begin with the latest regarding Ukraine and Europe and so forth.
We all know the U.S. has, in fact, suspended funding for Ukraine, pausing its assistance, waiting for a good-faith peace effort.
Even Russia Today reported as follows.
Washington has paused U.S.A. to Ukraine while reviewing whether or not to continue.
What else?
Press Secretary Helen Levinas said.
She made the statement Wednesday.
The National Security Council told me they paused their reconsidering funding for Ukraine.
It's a pause for a review.
The U.S. suspended military assistant to Ukraine after a meeting between President Trump and Ukrainian leader sees not even technically the president because his term expired in May, Zelensky, Last week, which culminated in a shouting match.
Trump later accused Zelensky of not being truly interested in making peace with Russia, but rather aiming to get Washington signed up and keep fighting.
U.S. intel sharing has similarly been brought to a stop.
CI Director Radcliffe confirmed to Fox Wednesday.
Asked whether Washington cut off cooperation with Kyiv.
Trump asked for a pause to see if Ukraine were ready to work toward peace.
Trump had a real question whether Zelensky was committed to peace or not, Ratcliffe explained.
He asked about the military aid freeze.
National Security Advisor Mike Walsh likewise told Fox, Trump would examine lifting the pause if we can nail down the negotiations.
The day before, Zelensky took a U-turn on years of denying negotiation with Russia, declaring himself ready for an immediate ceasefire in a lengthy boast on X. Kiev is ready to move to end the conflict through an immediate release of prisoners, temporary ceasefire, and a ban on long-range strikes on energy and civilian infrastructure, he wrote.
By the way, those long-range strikes on energy and civilian infrastructure are violations of the laws of war, because you're...
Waging war on civilians rather than the military.
Moscow has repeatedly stated its way to return to the negotiating table, pointing out Zelensky signed a decree banning talks, banning talks, with Russian President Putin soon after the escalation of the conflict in 2022. However,
Russia has underscored it was a permanent stable peace, considers a temporary ceasefire unacceptable, stressing that time could simply be used to rearm Ukraine for further hostilities as happened with the Minsk Accords as a cover.
Now whiplash!
Zelensky seemed to have changed his mind again.
No mineral deal with the U.S. No negotiations with Russia.
And here's a wonderful photograph of him with cocaine all over his nose.
By the fourth of the time, Ukraine...
The president, in quotes, Zelensky, appears to have changed his mind, no longer wants a mineral deal, decided he won't negotiate with Russian President Putin.
There's excerpts are available.
But also we have the French president declaring Russia is rearming to conquer Europe.
Finally, this afternoon, I report.
Russian missiles are flying into Ukraine in droves, striking very many targets.
There's no longer U.S. intel provided to Ukraine to stop them.
Turns out it's impossible to detect missile launches in time without U.S. intel.
The main problem is detection of Isklander and ballistic missiles in North Korean NK-23 and NK-24 missiles, which are hitting Ukraine in droves.
You may not be prepared for this, but it appears Europe wants to continue the war against Russia, even absent U.S. support.
Macron's speech to the nation sounds like a declaration of war on Russia.
President Macron has given a speech to the nation making it clear that Europe intends to continue the war against Russia.
I'm convinced this is why has Zelensky changed?
He was contacted by Macron and others and told we're going to support you.
The war will continue.
Do not enter into peace negotiations.
Anti-Spiegel reports.
I summarize reports from Russian media about a speech to the nation in various Russian reported in various Russian news channels on Telegram and TASS, which are confirmed in terms of content.
Since I, the author, does not...
Understand French.
He waits for summaries.
But McGrann's statements are so harsh and aggressive I make an exception, writing a breaking news story.
What falls is a translation of the first Russian reports about Macron's speech to the nation Wednesday evening.
Macron declared, only with a pacified Russia would these return to the continent.
Speaking out against a ceasefire in Ukraine, he said, Peace cannot be created at any price and under Russian dictation, nor can it be a capitulation of Ukraine.
Now, I add, notwithstanding Russia has won the war, Ukraine's lost over a billion, Russia, maybe a hundred, hundred, fifty thousand, Ukraine, Russia's gaining territory every single day.
This is insane.
Macron continued.
We must recognize the Russian threat.
We must defend ourselves better.
The future of Europe cannot be decided in Moscow or Washington.
Further, statement from Macron.
Russia has become a threat to France and Europe.
Tomorrow's decision cannot be based on yesterday's habits.
We believe in defending democracy and defending freedom of speech.
Peace cannot be achieved on Russia's terms.
It must not mean the capitulation of Ukraine.
What would be Russian terms?
They retain all the territory they've captured, including, of course, Crimea, the Donbass, and other oblasts, that there be no entry of Ukraine into NATO ever, that there be a demilitarization of Ukraine, and further, most difficult, a denazification.
Why McCrane or any other sane individual would oppose those terms, given Russia has prevailed, is beyond me.
Meanwhile, if the Russian threat is real, it affects European countries, it affects us too.
That's ridiculous!
There's no threat to Europe from Russia.
It's a purely defensive intervention to protect the people at the Donbass from an assault from Kiev.
Macron continues.
The conflict in Ukraine has become a global conflict.
We see North Korean fighters, Iranian equipment, used to help Russia.
President Putin is violating our borders to kill opponents in re-election.
Rubbish.
No evidence.
This is just an outrageous claim.
Russia is constantly arming itself and expanding its military.
Well, it's a war.
It's got to expand its production.
It has the most powerful army in the world today, I declare.
Russia is constantly arming itself, expanding its military, all for a good reason.
We must take action.
Listen to this.
We must take action to ensure, first and foremost, the security of France, Europe, and Ukraine.
We must continue to help Ukraine resist until it can negotiate peace with Russia on its own terms.
For itself and for all of us.
Well, when would that ever occur?
They don't even have any more warm bodies to put up on the front lines.
They're all being decimated.
It's a meat grinder.
This is insane.
We made the Minsk agreements in 2014 and Russia broke them.
We cannot trust the agreements with Russia.
Actually, on the contrary, Russia is the only one whose word has any value whatsoever in the world today.
Not Europe and certainly not the United States.
The Minsk agreement says even Angela Merkel has admitted we're merely a fig leaf to provide time to beef up Ukraine with all kinds of equipment from NATO nations.
They have admitted it.
So here you have Macron grossly declaring a falsehood.
We made Minsk agreements and Russia broke them.
No.
It was the Europeans and the United States who broke them.
And they were never sincere or brought it for good faith in the first place.
Macron also said he decided to start a discussion on the use of France's nuclear weapons to defend the entire EU. I'm telling you right there, that's a death sentence for France and any other EU nation that is going to use nuclear weapons against Russia.
They will be decimated.
He said he would start talks with the Allies on the possibility of placing European countries under the protection of France's nuclear deterrent force, following a call from German Chancellor candidate Friedrich Merz.
What he's doing is creating a new NATO, a French-led version of NATO, anticipating America is going to withdraw as well we should, Macron said.
In response, He said Ukraine must be given security guarantees for the future,
because Russia cannot be trusted at its word, when in fact it's the Europeans in America that have a word that is not trustworthy.
He wants to achieve this by stationing European forces in Ukraine that will not fight on the front lines, but monitor compliance with a peace agreement once it were signed.
He added, next week in Paris, we will gather the chiefs of staff of those countries that want to take responsibility.
"France had the most effective army in Europe." Well, if you include Russia.
Meanwhile, European leaders warn that conscription a draft will be necessary as EU launches an $840 billion program to prepare for war with Russia.
Imagine!
If you were drafted, would you willingly go to the killing fields of eastern Ukraine?
What about your children?
The war in Ukraine has been an endless meat grinder that's already claimed hundreds of thousands of Russian lives and more than a million Ukrainians.
Those who are sane want to see if there is a peaceful way out of this mess so the killing can stop.
Unfortunately, vast numbers of leftists all over the United States and Western Europe have been transformed into rabid pro-war lunatics.
We're absolutely obsessed with defeating Russia.
Really, bear in mind in the background, they're after the vast natural resources of Russia, which are extraordinary.
That's what they're after.
They want to defeat Russia and gobble up its natural resources to benefit themselves.
So, gigantic mountains of dollars and euros have been poured into the war in Ukraine, but it hasn't worked.
The Russians are winning.
So now European leaders are preparing to take things to the next level.
To Tuesday, Ursula von der Leyen unveiled a brand new $800 billion program to be known as Rearm Europe.
The European Union will free up $840 billion in funding to funnel into defense across the bloc, European Commission Chief.
Ursula van der Leiden announced on Tuesday, if I were a young person in Germany right now, I'd be extremely concerned.
A spokesperson for the group that would be heading up the new government has publicly stated that the first new conscripts will have to walk through the barracks gates in 2025. The defense policy spokesman for his center-right alliance, Florian Hahn.
told Bill Daly, Germany's suspension of conscription no longer fits the current threat situation.
The first conscripts will have to walk through the barracks gates in 2025, Hahn told the Daly.
We cannot stand by and watch as the world around us becomes more unsafe.
That is this year.
And why are they in such a rush?
Do they know something the rest of us do not know?
Meanwhile, as Hal Turner reported a couple of days ago, Vladimir Putin already knew these developments were in the works and was addressing them before Macron even made this profoundly disturbing, utterly insane speech.
Something is going wrong, Hal Turner reports.
Putin gives a chilling speech.
The world may end earlier, but Russia will never fall.
The president of the Russian Federation gave a speech today, and this is dated March 4th, and the content indicate Russia knows something very wrong is going on.
Something indicates Russia is going to be attacked in a way that causes The end.
Putin officially warned the West what a war with Russia would look like.
Below is a machine translation of Putin's speech.
Dear colleagues, media journalists and guests, good afternoon.
Again, today in the European Union and NATO member states, there are calls for a war against Russia.
We've heard them from Macron now.
Today, unfortunately or not, we can say again, history always repeats itself.
Always.
The views of our colleagues from Europe and NATO on Russia never change.
They are always ready to destroy Russia, everything Russian, and ready to occupy Russia.
Their gold never changes.
Hatred against Russia has always remained in the veins of some of our colleagues and countries ruling the EU and NATO, dear colleagues.
Again, we hear today Russia is the aggressor.
The truth is Russia has never been an aggressor, has always defended itself throughout history.
That's a fact.
Dear colleagues from Europe and NATO, Russia never starts a war.
Russia always stops them.
You start wars.
And the goal is to destroy Russia always.
Russia has never threatened countries, never threatened the security of the world.
But we like to say, the snake bites the most when it dies.
You created fascism always everywhere.
And Ukraine, wars are your work.
Russia will always defend its country and its people, no matter what it costs, no matter how many losses we suffer.
We have always defended our country and its people.
We will always continue to do so.
As you know, we have proven ourselves many times during history as a country with spirit.
This is a fact.
Today you're shouting again victory over Russia, the defeat of Napoleon, the defeat of Hitler by Russia, which had to do a lot with Russian winners and their policy of retreating while burning the environment so that there was no foodstuffs to supply the soldiers or in the past their horses.
And Russia was victorious.
Today again, you're showing victory over Russia.
Dear colleagues, I assure you, Russia will not fall.
It may be torn apart, but never destroyed.
If a NATO-EU country declares war on Russia, everyone must know, our reaction will be lightning fast.
And if we feel a threat to us, our reaction will be destructive.
Today.
Russia has all kinds of weapons in the current history of the world.
I am this size.
And Al Turner, you have no idea.
By the way, I'm absolutely certain Putin speaks the truth.
You have not seen anything from Russia and its possibilities in Ukraine because Ukraine is our historical country.
And there are Russians in Ukraine.
And we are saving them.
And this is not a war, but a military operation.
Meaning internal to Ukraine.
On the other hand, it will not be like Ukraine.
That is what you need to know.
As for whether we're ready to negotiate for peace, we have always been ready to negotiate.
But no one wanted to negotiate with us.
Look at how Zelensky denied before.
Then Trump induced him to come around, and now he's denying again.
Of course, Russia has no friends among NATO and European leaders, because Russia's a strong, huge country.
Exactly what your NATO and European colleagues do not want, but accept it.
No matter how much you repeat that one day Russia will be defeated, I believe in God, and God is with us.
The world may end earlier.
But Russia will not fall.
We do not need a world without Russia.
Unlike you, I know very well what a country and people are, and therefore I will always fight for my country and people.
Are you ready to accept this as you wish?
Are you ready to start a war against Russia again?
But we are also ready.
And today's war against Russia would be an absolute apocalypse.
I advise our colleagues from Europe and NATO to work for the good of the world, not for the destruction thereof.
Thank you, Hal Turner.
I don't know what's going on behind the scenes in Europe.
I add, well, now we do know.
That would have prompted a speech like this from Russian President.
It was the speech of Macron, of which Putin had advanced knowledge.
Clearly, whatever is taking place, it must be happening in Europe because we and the U.S. see that our country is backing away from the Ukraine debacle.
For weeks, President Trump has been openly saying war must end.
Last Friday, Ukrainian President Zelensky's disastrous argument with President Trump and Vice President Vance in the Oval Office within hours, the State Department halted funding.
For any rebuild of Ukraine's electric grid.
Yesterday, there was a full pause in all U.S. military aid to Ukraine.
So whatever it is that prompted Russian President to make this speech seems to me to have developed behind the scene likely in Europe within the past 24 hours.
He's got it exactly right.
Russian intelligence gathering is amazingly efficient.
So it seems to me they have found something very serious, That's a really bad thing.
Let me just say...
That's where we stand today.
It's a really bad thing.
And part of the reason Trump is so very, very popular is because he has expressed again and again the desire to get out of Ukraine, to settle the war, that it was a wrong war, that if he'd been president, it would never have begun, which may or may not be true.
I mean, the antecedents of presidents that led up, of course, included.
The coup in Ukraine in 2014 where Victoria Nguyen spent $5 billion American taxpayer dollars to overthrow the democratically elected but Russia-friendly president of Ukraine to install a Western puppet of whom Zelensky is the successor.
Now bear in mind, what's going on here?
I think it's pretty clear.
Zelensky went to the White House.
He was humiliated.
Trump deliberately contrived to bring him around.
It was like a slap in the face to get serious about negotiation, to underline Ukraine's loss of war, that this must end, that the United States is not going to continue to support it.
Zelensky came around.
He said he's now fully, fully prepared.
But meanwhile, the Europeans were alarmed.
That this was going to mean peace with Russia, Russian victory in Ukraine, which, of course, they've earned.
And they have undertaken to do a counteroffensive.
They've told Zelensky, don't worry, we're on your side.
This is going to work out.
Forget peace talks.
Forget the United States.
And now he's reversed himself.
I think that we're going to see.
U.S. even withdrawing from NATO now, which is a very good idea.
Bear in mind, during an earlier discussion about this issue, John Coleman pointed out to me that Macron is a former Rothschild banker financier.
He worked for the Rothschilds.
And the Rothschilds, through their stooge, Klaus Schwab, have declared, the new world order cannot proceed.
Absent Ukraine.
Without Ukraine, there can be no new world order.
Thus, Macron, Rothschild stooge, is going to do everything he can.
And frankly, at this point, I believe, it's going to lead to the annihilation of Europe, at least large parts.
Any nation that glares war on Russia.
France, it appears to me, has already done the equivalent.
Putin has told them how this is going to play out.
They cannot stop the Russian missiles.
Vibersonic missiles they cannot defeat.
Without the intel the United States has been providing to Russia, they can't even stop the ongoing assault.
Think about it before we turn to our next stage with Dina Pollard-Sach.
Thank you.
Thank you.

As we await the arrival of my featured guest, Nina Pollard-Sacks, let me offer some comments about Trump's congressional let me offer some comments about Trump's congressional address.
Which received 83% approval of Americans, despite Democrat protests.
Now think about that number.
I don't believe you could get 83% agreement about the American flag being a good flag or an appropriate flag.
I don't think you could get 83% on...
Mom and apple pie.
I mean, this is incredible.
83%.
Absolutely stunning.
The atmosphere in the House chamber was electric.
President Trump stood confidently at a podium delivering his address to the joint session of Congress.
Representatives and senators filled the seats.
The reaction split along party lines.
Some Democrats had already made their intentions clear.
They arrived wearing protest shirts.
Others planned to walk out during key moments of the speech.
What happened next would reveal the stark divide between Washington politicians and the American people.
But who really speaks for the American people?
The protesters or the polls?
Democrats disrupt presidential address.
Representative Green of Texas suddenly rose from his seat shouting at President Trump after the president referenced his 2024 election victory, noting he'd won all seven of the swing states and the popular vote.
Green repeatedly held Trump did not have a mandate from the American people.
But the fact of the matter is, Trump did have a mandate from the American people.
I'm delighted to say I'm now about to be joined by Dina Pollard-Sacks.
Stand by.
Here she is, Dina.
I've described you as a brilliant attorney who's turned health and exercise guru.
So you can pick it up from there.
Sure.
I'm just trying to adjust my...
I can't hear you.
Here we go.
Okay.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Okay, yeah.
Thank you so much, Jim, for having me on again.
Yeah, I resigned my position as a law professor about almost four and a half years ago now, and that actually may be the subject of a forthcoming Creative work.
But anyway, I decided to pursue some fitness certifications.
You know, I've always been into hot yoga and running and surfing and skiing and all that.
So I got a hot yoga certification in 2022. And then last year, in about a four-month period, I got five additional certifications with ISSA in everything from weight loss to personal training to corrective exercise and DNA-based programs.
One of the things I got really interested in is weight.
Why are people so overweight in our country?
It just seems really odd to me that people are so overweight.
And so I started studying metabolism and I started reading some of the research on metabolism.
And found out that basically our people just are completely in the dark about how to lose weight, how the body naturally detoxifies, what you have to do to get there, what you have to do to stay, basically stay in ketosis for a long enough period either every day or at least every other day or a few times a week.
That is the key.
Our bodies have two ways of burning energy.
One is glucose burning mode.
The other one is ketosis, which is fat burning mode.
If you do not switch into ketosis, you will not lose fat.
At least it'll be very, very difficult and very, very slow.
So I designed my own program.
And as you know, I was a size four at five foot five, and I went from a size four to a size zero or two.
I'm back to my high school weight, back in my high school jeans, my high school Levi's, which as you probably know, Levi's 501s do not stretch.
You have to fit into them.
So it was really exciting to be able to control not just my own weight, but my health, because when your body is detoxed, you don't suffer from allergies.
You don't get sick very often.
When you do get sick...
You're sick less time.
And so I started thinking about all the things that Weight Watchers and other programs are doing because I had some familiarity with how these programs work, and they just are not incorporating the most important aspects of detoxifying the body and weight loss.
So I designed my own program, which has four parts to it, two physical and two cognitive.
The first part is basically detoxifying the mind, figuring out what self-talk.
What ideas, belief systems are holding you back from getting ideal health?
It is not out of reach for most people.
But they're doing basically every single thing wrong you can imagine.
So the second part is rebuilding the cognitive matrix.
And we know this from research on cognitive learning theory, racism, discrimination, all that kind of bias.
Research shows us that the mind does create a whole lot of schemas or bypasses to reach conclusions.
And those bypasses often bypass.
What we call disconfirming data.
So data that would say, hey, that's not true.
After so many repetitions of a concept, a person may jump to a conclusion without realizing they're doing it.
It's called implicit bias or unconscious bias.
And it's just purely cognitive.
It's the way we're made.
It's the way we're meant to be made.
It's the way God made us to be able to understand our environment more efficiently and effectively through having little bridges over bits of information if we've seen it enough times.
We can predict the outcome.
We don't have to think through every single thing every single time we encounter it in life, but that can go awry.
And a lady named Patricia Devine, who published a bunch of research that I read back in, gosh, I was at Berkeley.
It must have been 1999, around there.
She did some detailed research on how you can undo even racism, even at an advanced age.
Because once you're about...
Once the period of exuberance is over, which is around age anywhere from 18 to 25, the cognitive processes become solidified.
They don't bounce around like they do in the teenage years, which is why teenagers are so crazy half the time.
Their minds are literally moving around.
Their neural connections are disconnecting and reconnecting.
And a wonderful book named The Primal Teen came out about the fMRI.
fMRI research sometime around that time frame.
I'm not sure if it was...
Oh gosh, I remember early 90s or something.
And the author was a writer for the New York Times Health Division.
So it's really good that explains the research.
So I use that.
But before I get to that, I know that most people who listen want to know what they can do to lose weight fast.
So I'm going to start with the physical side of it, the metabolic research, which is also more black and white.
It's more objective research.
So I'm going to start with that.
And again, there's two parts to the physical side.
The first part is detoxifying the body.
And the second part is rebuilding systems, rebuilding the body, building flexibility, building bone density, building very, very strong connective tissues, and making sure your body is, you know, able to take trauma without getting damaged.
Because that's one of the goals as we age is, well, first of all, not to fall at all.
But if we do, make sure we bounce and don't break.
So starting with the metabolic science.
The first thing is we have to have some understanding of mitochondrial health because our mitochondria are the powerhouses of every single cell.
They dictate what our cells do in terms of energy production.
If they are dirty...
If they're bogged down with toxins, they are not going to work right.
And if they don't work right, we have metabolic problems, including things like diabetes.
So when it comes to mitochondrial health, the first step is detoxifying ourselves.
And what a lot of people don't realize, and the single most important thing I want to say today to people out there is quit ingesting massive amounts of toxins every single day through voluntary action.
What do I mean by that?
We are ingesting so many toxins.
Starbucks coffee is non-organic.
Non-organic coffee is one of the most toxic things you can put into your body.
Research has found over 100 toxins in every cup of coffee, from pesticides to molds, you name it, non-organic coffee is one of the worst things you can put in your body.
It's like drinking poison every morning.
So people can't figure out why they can't lose weight.
Well, fat cells will swell.
Due to two things, maybe more than two things, two things that I know of.
One is toxins in the cell.
So you're not overeating.
You're exercising a lot.
You're eating low-calorie diet, whatever.
You're still going to have weight because of the number of toxins in the fat cells.
And the fat cells are doing us a big favor.
The fat cells are keeping the toxins from our internal organs.
So the fat cells are housing these toxins to keep us alive and doing us a favor, but we want to get rid of them.
We want to get rid of those toxins and eliminate them from the body as opposed to just harboring them in an area away from our internal organs.
So first thing is stop ingesting toxins.
Another big one people don't realize, wine.
If wine is not organic, it is filled with pesticides and other toxins.
Wine also does not have a particularly Good glycemic index.
Basically, it can spike your blood sugar as grapes can.
So drinking non-organic wine is a very fast path toward cancer.
These toxins are known to be associated with cancer.
All kinds of cancer.
Because when your cells are bogged down and they're dirty and you don't sweep them out, so to speak, they can't operate properly.
They can't attack cancer cells.
They can't attack precancerous cells.
They can't get rid of the negative things in your body.
And they're basically operating.
It's like trying to drive a car that's just mucked up with mud and dirt and grime and dirty oil.
You may drive it for a while, but it's not going to operate well.
And we want to take our bodies as a very serious machine that we need to keep very, very clean.
So step one is eliminate the toxins.
Stop.
Stop the bleeding.
Stop the non-stop ingestion of toxins.
There's something called the Dirty Dozen List of Foods.
The Dirty Dozen List is a group put together by experts that identify the 12 foods in our food supply that are the most toxic in terms of the greatest number of pesticides and other toxins when they test these various products.
And I'll just mention a few.
Strawberries.
Do not touch strawberries unless they're organic.
Green beans, spinach, grapes, apples.
These products are like just sticking poison in your mouth and swallowing it.
So don't do it.
There's also something called the Clean 15 list of foods that really aren't, it's not that important whether you buy organic or not because of the way the fruits or vegetables are made.
They have a thick skin.
For example, avocado.
Avocados have a thick skin and...
When tested, they came out as one of the least toxic foods in the market, probably because the skin is so thick and you take it off before you eat it.
So look up the Dirty Dozen list of foods, look up the Clean 15 list, and really be conscious of what you're putting in your body.
Because until you allow your body some time to detox, you're never going to be really healthy and your chances of cancer are high with a highly toxic body.
And that usually manifests in an overweight body.
So, you know, if your doctor's saying, hey, you should lose a few pounds or whatever, you may want to take that very seriously.
And if you want to just see the basics of what I've discovered, it's all on my website.
I describe it where any smart person can get on, read it, and do it themselves.
It's 60goingon30.com, 60goingon30.com.
And I describe metabolic switching.
And autophagy, among other things.
And I want to say something about autophagy really quickly because it's so, so powerful.
Autophagy is a stage, a metabolic state that you go into after ketosis.
So you're always going to hit ketosis before you hit autophagy.
So ketosis really varies based on the person.
And some people will get kicked out of ketosis, as they say, faster than others.
So ketosis is when you switch from glucose burning.
into fat burning mode and that's where you want to be.
When you're in ketosis, you're not just burning fat as an energy source, you're also creating ketones in the brain.
And there's research that indicates that process is healing for the brain and healing for the body.
So we have sort of this weird social idea that ketosis is dangerous or you should avoid it.
Not at all.
You want ketosis.
It's your friend.
And it's a metabolic state that is made to detoxify your body naturally and to cause you to be a low-fat individual.
So most people go into ketosis anywhere between 8 and 15 hours of fasting.
And when I say fasting, I'm gonna talk about ketosis fasting.
I'm not even sure that's a term.
I call it ketosis fasting because what you're doing is you're making sure you don't kick out of ketosis.
You're not necessarily not eating any calories, but you're eating zero protein, zero carbohydrates, and zero alcohol.
In other words, once you're in fat-burning mode, you can eat fat, pure fat, and you're not gonna kick out of fat-burning mode.
Why would you want to do that?
Because the fat you eat, you're going to burn that before you burn your body fat.
That's true.
But it's more important to stay in ketosis than it is to avoid all calories.
An avocado is pure fat and fiber.
So you can have an avocado or a piece of an avocado on a fast, a ketosis fast, and not break the fast.
The reason you do that is because of hunger, of course.
So you have an avocado or half an avocado with a big tall topo chico or glass of club soda.
And you feel full for at least another hour or two, and every hour matters in ketosis.
As ketosis continues on, your body becomes more and more effective and efficient at eliminating toxins and reducing fat cells.
And then at about 17 to 18 hours, maybe longer for some people, the body goes into a state called autophagy.
And autophagy means self-eating.
And a Japanese scientist got the Nobel Prize for learning how humans go into autophagy and self-clean their own bodies, eradicate disease, precancerous cells, and even cancerous cells.
So there's some early research indicating that autophagy can reverse cancer.
And this is such a big breakthrough.
We got the Nobel Prize.
And yet, who heard about it on CNN or Fox News Channel?
It should have been headline news.
We're talking about a natural, 100% God-given bodily process to cure yourself, detox yourself, and possibly even reverse cancer and other diseases, and no one knows about it.
It's free.
It's absolutely free.
In fact, you save money on food because you're not eating.
So I talk about all these things in my forthcoming book that I have not finished because I wrote a children's book and that's coming out.
And I have other things I'm looking at.
I'm involved in real estate investing right now.
But I am going to get to this book.
I am going to finish it because I want the people to know when you get on this program, it's been so easy for my clients and me to lose significant amounts of weight.
One of my clients has struggled her whole life.
She was about 200 pounds.
She just is, you know, a hearty girl, very healthy girl, young lady, I should say.
She's not a girl technically, but she's a young lady.
And she tried Weight Watchers and other things and just really struggled.
The weight came right back on as soon as she finished the program.
With my program, she lost 40 pounds in three months, and it's been kept off.
So she's going to continue, and she wants to get down to, I think, around 130. Which will be quite lean for her frame.
But she's just been incredibly successful and said it was easy.
And it was easy because she understood what she was doing with her body.
So do you have any questions, Jim, on this part?
I have more, but I want to give you a chance.
Oh, yeah.
I'm fascinated by all of this.
I would like you to go through the good foods and the bad.
I was shocked to hear that coffee and wine would be on the bad list.
I mean, I'd like you to...
The complete list, Dina, I think everyone needs to know.
Sure.
Well, first of all, you want to generally have any questionable food you want to get organic.
So tea and coffee are considered questionable, obviously.
I did not realize tea was a problem.
I always thought with green tea, it's really good for you.
Everyone thinks that.
Well, Bigelow got sued for their green tea several years ago.
I found it online.
Bigelow is, I think, the biggest tea manufacturer in the country.
They got sued because there was an inappropriate high level of toxins in their green tea.
And beyond the FDA allowed amount or whatever it was, they had a lawsuit over it.
So wouldn't you think that the biggest tea manufacturer in the country would have You know, safe green tea, but no.
So you want to go organic.
Generally speaking, they do test organic foods and other items because I wouldn't call tea a food, but it is an item of consumption.
So they test those things.
And when they do find too much toxins, they will strip them of their organic label.
So at least that's what I'm told.
So it is much, much safer to eat organic and it is well worth.
The extra money, especially when you cut down the intake of food because you're eating less food anyway and you can afford more expensive berries because you're eating less berries.
So let me talk about first getting into ketosis and staying in ketosis because this is where a lot of people say that they just aren't losing weight and they get the little ketosis strips that you can buy online and test yourself to see where you are in ketosis.
Because they show up in your urine.
And you can test yourself to see whether you're producing ketones, which is very, very effective for helping you to be motivated to stay in ketosis because you know you're burning fat in that situation.
So basically, you can do the water fast, the water or the tea fast, which a lot of people do for an extended period to make sure they...
Make sure they get into ketosis.
But for me and for my clients, that is so much harder than what I call the ketosis fast.
So in the ketosis fast, you can have a tablespoon of olive oil on an empty stomach and a big, tall glass of water or club soda.
And that may sound awful, but when you're really, really hungry, it's actually a lot better than nothing because it coats your stomach.
The bubbles in the seltzer water make you kind of feel full.
And then sometimes I'll add a small dill pickle.
A small deal pickle has zero calories.
Check the label.
Zero calories.
Because it's less than one calorie for one small deal pickle.
Meaning that it's negligible.
You are not going to be kicked out of ketosis with less than one calorie.
The body is not that stupid.
It knows that's not enough.
It's not going to switch into glucose burning mode because you've got a fraction of one gram of glucose in your body.
Especially when it's a high fiber.
Natural-based bit of carbohydrate like exists in vegetables and fruits.
So what can you have when you're in a ketosis fast?
What can you have in the morning if you wake up hungry and you want to lose weight and you want to stay in ketosis?
My number one go-to hack is heavy whipping cream in organic coffee or tea.
Heavy whipping cream has zero grams of protein, zero grams of Carbohydrate, pure fat.
So in other words, it will not kick you out of ketosis.
So that is so fulfilling.
You're satiated with some cream in your organic coffee or tea.
For me, it fills me right up.
Plus the coffee.
I don't drink coffee very often, but when I do, it kind of hypes me up and it sort of wipes out my hunger.
So caffeine can do that.
Nicotine can do that.
Not that I would encourage smoking, but I have had some clients who smoke.
Not a lot, but they do while they're fasting and they say it's very helpful.
It wipes out hunger.
So it's not attractive to most people, but another client of mine sometimes nibbles on Nicorette gum.
Again, not something you want to make a habit out of, but nicotine is known to depress appetite.
And caffeine is, I mean, a lot of models smoke.
And Christy Turlington at one point did an interview, I think, where they were talking about I'm not sure.
It might have been asthma.
She had some issue with her breathing because of the cigarettes, but it also kept her very, very thin.
She was a very famous model, if you don't know who she is.
Very beautiful lady.
So models would do that.
It was their job to stay really thin.
And so cigarette smoking is a way of staying thin, but it's not the way to do it, in my opinion.
But as a crutch, I've seen people do that, and they say it works.
So same with Nicorette gum.
Not advisable, in my opinion, but it depends.
You have to do a cost Benefit analysis.
If you are 50 pounds overweight, my opinion is a couple pieces of Nicorette gum is not going to hurt you as much as retaining that weight.
You've got to look at what you're doing with your body, how short-term your solutions are, and things like that.
So you can have heavy whipping cream in your coffee or tea, which will not kick you out of ketosis.
Adele pickle.
You can have avocado.
I have this crazy little hors d'oeuvre I make when I'm fasting.
It's guacamole on a slice of a dill pickle.
I know it sounds pretty gross, but it's actually really, really good when you're really, really hungry.
So you'll find out for yourself.
And with the guacamole, be careful because some of the mixes contain a lot of starchy additives.
So you don't want to necessarily use a mix.
From the grocery store.
And you probably don't want to put chopped onions in.
Because I think as vegetables go, they have carbs.
So you want to be careful with what you put in your guacamole if you make it at home.
And check the label if you're buying a guacamole mix.
It may have a lot of carbs in it.
But pure guacamole made from spices and avocado is fine.
Other things I find, club soda, seltzer water is very helpful when you're really hungry.
Black coffee can wipe out your hunger as well.
Black tea, of course.
So those are the main go-to hacks.
Also, start watching Mindy Pelz videos.
Mindy Pelz, P-E-L-Z, is a wonderful chiropractor who's made, I think, about a thousand videos now on fasting and weight loss and the toxicity of coffee and all these things.
I have learned a lot from her videos, and she's doing a phenomenal job with making this knowledge accessible to the public by doing the research and doing these very upbeat and helpful videos.
Mindy Pels has her own channel on YouTube as well.
So go there and just watch it.
Some are five minutes long, some are two hours long.
So whatever you have time for, she has something for everyone on her YouTube channel.
So getting into ketosis, staying into ketosis.
Well, what do you do if you know you're in ketosis, you're getting a moderate level of ketones, but you also know if you can stay in ketosis a few more hours, you can make it to autophagy, and that's when the real rapid healing.
So what do I do when I'm really hungry?
My stomach's kind of gnawing.
I just want to eat something, but I want to stay in ketosis.
I want to get into autophagy.
I have been known to do things like jump in a pool.
Jumping in a pool, swimming around, first of all.
You're going to increase your metabolism a little bit.
You're going to be working out.
And that is going to increase your ketosis production probably because you're now seeking to use more energy.
And where's the energy going to come from?
It's going to come from fat because you're in ketosis.
I go into saunas when I'm really hungry.
Same thing.
If you start sweating a lot, you're burning calories.
Where's that energy going to come from?
It's going to come.
From fat stores because you're in ketosis.
This is just my own opinion based on everything I've read.
I've talked to a couple of doctors and they confirm that this does completely make sense.
Where else would the energy come from?
If you're not in glucose burning mode and you start running or swimming or doing hot yoga...
Where's the energy gonna come from?
It's gonna come straight from your fat cells.
That's what you want.
So going on a brisk walk, playing with a cat, a dog, taking a dog to the park, something like that will get your mind off your hunger and keep you in ketosis and burn extra calories to allow you to have an even greater result from being in ketosis.
I'm a big fan of going to hot yoga.
In a state of ketosis or autophagy because I've done it so many times and the results have been phenomenal.
I've had people say, oh, that sounds dangerous.
Okay, well, I would say get to know your body.
The one thing I try to impress in my website is every single one of us is different.
I have used my body as a guinea pig now for a year and a half.
I've learned what I can get away with in ketosis, what I can't get away with in ketosis, what I can do to break ketosis because I'm really hungry, but get right back into ketosis within a couple hours.
I've learned all these things by watching what I eat, writing it down, and using my ketone strips to find out where I am in ketosis.
So you have to find out for yourself.
But another thing I do, and I've done since I was 25, so for more than 35 years now, I've been drinking distilled water.
Steamed, distilled water.
And the reason I do it is because I was in LA when I was still a law student.
I think I was 24 or 25. And a lady came into the sauna and it was one of those, I'm not sure if it was LA Fitness or actually it was one of those chain gyms.
And she was ripped up.
And I said, what are you drinking?
She had this big gallon of water in her hand.
I'm like, what is that in your hand?
Why would you bring a gallon of water?
And she said, because you can't buy distilled water in smaller bottles.
I said, well, why are you drinking this still water?
Isn't that for irons?
Nina, this is fascinating.
We got a break here.
We'll be right back with Nina Pollard Sachs.
I'm so enjoying this.
Fascinating.

Did you know that the police in Boston were broadcasting This is a Drill, This is a Drill on bullhorns during the marathon?
That the Boston Globe was tweeting that a demonstration bomb would be set off during the marathon for the benefit of bomb squad activities.
And that one would be set off in one minute in front of the library, which happened as the Globe had announced.
Peering through the smoke, you could see bodies with missing arms and legs.
But there was no blood.
The blood only showed up later and came out of a tomb.
They used amputee actors and a studio-quality smoke machine.

Dina, yes, please.
Do continue with your presentation.
I mean, it is quite fascinating, frankly.
And you are so knowledgeable.
I mean, it's one of these cases where you take someone who's so excellent in one field, as you have been in the law, and then they apply their intellect to issues in a completely different field, in this case, exercise and nutrition.
It's like me.
Philosopher of Science, devoting myself to conspiracy research.
I mean, it's kind of a game changer.
Continue with your wonderful presentation.
Well, and as you may know, I'm just going to mention this briefly.
I was horribly harassed, bullied, and abused by multiple law professors, male and female, during my 20 years as a professor, a law professor.
I was publishing in...
Fairly top journals out of the box, which is almost unheard of from a bottom-tier law school.
And I was just attacked by numerous people, and I really didn't have a choice but to resign.
So, and my colleagues as well, sexually assaulted inside the law school, physically assaulted inside the law school, and not just TSU. I had stories from other law schools that the legal academy is a terrible, horrible institution with terrible Terrible, godless people.
So sometimes, you know, I was really disappointed because I was doing well.
And I was not just doing well with my legal scholarship.
I was also investing in real estate and doing well there.
And I lost my tenure position because I had to leave.
I think nine women altogether resigned from my law school, which is unheard of.
Six or seven in the same couple of year period.
So it's really bad.
So, you know, but then you think about, well, maybe I'm supposed to do something else.
So that's when I decided to go.
Into, you know, I wasn't really happy with my weight.
I felt like I would like to be my high school size again.
I mean, I guess most of us would.
And that's when I got into the research.
And here I am now, able to share with a lot of people.
And again, a shout out to Mindy Peltz, Dr. Mindy, because her videos were sort of a segue for me.
It's one of the first things I was turned on to when I started going.
Doing this kind of research.
So she's really been helpful to many, many people.
So moving right along, one of the first things I look at with my clients is their circadian rhythm.
And the reason why is because I've had, on occasion, I've heard stories of people say, well, I'm starving in the morning.
I can't not eat in the morning.
And I say, well, how hungry are you at night?
And they say, well, I'm not that hungry at night.
Okay, that's fine.
Then your eating window doesn't start at 6 or 7 or 8 or 9 p.m., which is where mine starts.
It's called the eating window, the period that you eat and the fasting window.
Okay, your eating window is going to start at 7 a.m., but it's going to close at 3 p.m.
Instead of mine starting at 6 or 7 or 8 p.m.
and closing at 10 or 11 p.m.
So that's how people call it intermittent fasting.
And of course, it's intermittent fasting.
You're controlling your fasting period and your eating period to control whether you're using glucose or fat.
to burn energy so it's called metabolic switching going back and forth from ketosis to glucose burning mode and when you can control your metabolic switching you can control your weight and the other thing about metabolic switching that I learned recently and I'm reading medical journals and I'm really trying to get clear on this Is that the more you metabolically switch, the more adept your body becomes at metabolic switching.
What a surprise.
So the more you run, the better you are at running.
The more you do about yoga, the better you are at it.
So the more you metabolically switch, the more efficient your body becomes at switching into these different modes of energy consumption, which is good because that way, when you do go into your ketosis, Burning foot mode, then you will probably get into it faster and it'll be more effective when you're in it.
It won't be like a surprise to your body.
Like people who eat every six hours, you know, day in and day out, they're never going to go into ketosis.
So the first time they go into it, their body, they freak out a little bit.
Like, what is this?
I'm not used to grabbing energy out of the fat stores.
And the body may be inefficient at first.
And when you look at someone who's really overweight, like say 100 pounds overweight or so, Clearly their body is not burning fat the way most of us are.
Because I'm in ketosis all the time.
I've been testing myself for a long time.
I have a trace amount of ketones in my system all the time.
Why?
I don't know.
That's just the way my body works.
But I can also really ramp it up into being really into ketosis by doing what I call a ketosis fast and eating only fat for a long period.
So you have to know that you're on.
This is why I say on my website, I'm a coach.
I take each person, one person at a time.
I listen to, well, I'm going to get to the cognitive side in just a minute, but I listen to what time they get up, what they normally eat, how long between their breakfast and their lunch and their dinner, whether they snack.
You know, whether they eat before nighttime.
A lot of us eat right before sleeping.
They say you shouldn't do that, but I've talked to people like myself, people that are like myself, and we do tend to eat a little something before bed.
Maybe not five minutes before bed, but maybe an hour before bed, and then take a very brisk walk around the block.
So another hack to make sure your body doesn't create fat out of the food you do eat.
Is to exercise within 90 minutes, the research says, of having a meal.
And let me quickly talk about what the meal should consist of too because it's super important to understand the way your body absorbs nutrients and the way your stomach works with the food that is put into it.
There's a book called Glucose Revolution.
I have it right here.
Glucose Revolution is groundbreaking.
The researcher explains that the order in which you eat your food is more important.
Even in how many calories you eat.
And the reason why is because it's not a function of calories in, calories out.
I've seen all the books written by these personal trainers who say that.
That is flatly not true.
The most personal trainers do not do their research.
They are not professors.
They're not analysts.
They don't do the hard research, analyze the data, and distill it for their clients.
They just repeat whatever they've heard.
And if they have a big enough name, they can write a book and sell books.
It's just, it's not true.
For your body is to regulate your glucose level.
If you can maintain a flat glucose level and not have spikes in your glucose throughout the day, you will likely never gain weight.
In fact, you will lose weight because it's the glucose spikes when your blood sugar suddenly goes up, such as a can of Coke on an empty stomach, possibly even fruit on an empty stomach, bread on an empty stomach.
They put bread out in a lot of restaurants as the first thing to eat.
You don't ever, ever want to start a meal with bread or potatoes or starch or sugar of any kind.
Just wipe that off your idea.
And I know that when I was researching and studying fitness back in college in a class called Nutrition, they said that fruit on an empty stomach is one way of quickly increasing your blood glucose level and that some research found you would eat less during the meal.
Because your glucose level goes up, you know, relatively quickly because of the fruit and it makes you feel fuller.
It sends a signal to your brain you don't need food.
Yeah, but it does something else.
And maybe it's just that back then in the mid-80s this research wasn't out.
I don't know.
But what they didn't tell us was that when your glucose level rises sharply, it's called a glucose spike, it also sends a signal to your brain that you've got extra sugar, extra energy.
Now move it into fat.
Because you never know when you're going to go into starvation mode.
That's the way we're programmed.
Because way back in the caveman days, they may not have eaten every day.
They may have been lucky to kill an animal every three days and get a nice big meal or find some non-poisonous berries once a week or whatever they were eating.
The body is made to go into periods of relative starvation.
I'm not saying hurt yourself or starve yourself for a week.
I'm saying...
Let your body do what it's supposed to do.
Let it go into fat-burning mode.
Let it go into...
Autophagy is a form of, you can call it a starvation mode.
Autophagy is where your body is seeking out cells to eat because every one of our cells has some energy.
It also has a lot of garbage, but your body is so smart, it's not going to go eat your most productive brain cells or your strongest, healthiest muscle cells, probably.
Most of us, your body is made to go find...
The damaged cells, the mucked up cells, and eat those as energy because part of getting the energy out of those cells is getting rid of all the toxins in that cell.
It's a recycling of the body's cell when you go into autophagy so that your body self-cleans.
It's incredible what it does for your body.
You can almost feel it.
And when you see your body become super slim, and my body fat now is 21%, which is pretty low for 60. I turned 61 on Wednesday.
I feel 29. And when you see the results, it really motivates you to continue on this mode of extraordinary health-conscious eating patterns and fasting patterns.
So, glucose revolution.
I'm going to give you the highlights.
Always, always, always, always start with fiber and fat.
I'm talking about good fat, avocado oil, olive oil.
I would say even butter as opposed to your seed oils, canola oil.
Never, never, never.
Don't touch canola oil.
Do not touch vegetable oil.
Don't ever touch those oils.
They create inflammation in the body.
We know that pretty much every disease is associated with inflammation.
When your body is inflamed, that is when all kinds of disease sets in.
So reducing inflammation is an absolute must.
For most Americans and most people.
And you can reduce inflammation a couple of ways.
Low sugar diet, whole foods diet, stay away from trans fats, Doritos, anything packaged.
Shop in the perimeter of the store.
Don't even go into the center aisles.
It's all crap.
Captain Crunch, all those cereals.
The whole idea that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, that was created by Mr. Kellogg himself.
That was a marketing scheme by Mr. Kellogg.
To get people to eat cornflakes.
One of the worst things you can put into your body in the morning is cornflakes.
Okay?
Starch on an empty stomach.
Now, if you add fat, too, it's a little better.
If you add whole milk, it's a little better.
But you don't want to start your day that way.
You really probably want to start your day fasting.
And I don't think anyone should eat breakfast unless they're very thin or they're children or they have some reason that they need to eat breakfast, maybe a blood sugar issue or something like that.
For most of us, We want to give our bodies a chance to burn off all the energy from the day before and burn off whatever fat cells we don't need.
So always start with fiber and fat.
Organic spinach or broccoli sautéed in olive oil or avocado oil.
Nuts are a tremendous source of good fats and fiber.
Some protein, some carbs, depending on the nut.
A lot of people don't realize that peanuts have all three branched-chain amino acids.
Peanuts.
They're one of the cheapest foods you can buy.
And one of my colleagues said, well, what would you recommend among the protein bars?
And I said, Pat, I recommend none of the protein bars.
I recommend no supplements.
And I'm not saying that'll never change.
I've heard wonders about like...
Beef gelatin and things like that.
I haven't researched that yet.
But in my opinion, supplements are completely unnecessary.
They are expensive.
And the supplement industry is every bit as corrupt as big karma, by and large.
Not all of them.
There are some what you call good karma companies.
They're out to really heal people.
There are some like that.
I know they're out there.
But right now, I take no vitamins, no supplements, nothing.
No prescription drugs and over-the-counter drugs.
Although I will take an antibiotic on occasion if I get sick enough to warrant it.
But I'm saying...
You know, you want to be smart.
If you're sick, extra vitamin C is good for you.
Maybe get in the sunshine a little bit.
Get some vitamin D. The best source of vitamin D is the sun.
And if you put sunscreen on, you're going to block your vitamin D absorption.
So I would also recommend things like raspberry seed oil, coconut oil.
Coconut oil has an SPF of 4. It's not going to, you know, it's not going to prevent a sunburn if you're out too long.
But it will allow the sunlight to come through.
And it is a 4 SPF, but most importantly, it keeps your skin moist.
Skin that's dry burns.
Skin that's moist tends not to burn.
So the more you know about our bodies and our skin and how we work, the more you can control your health, you know, whether you absorb vitamins properly from the sun, all that stuff.
So back to glucose revolution.
Sorry, I keep digressing.
Start with fiber and fat.
What does this do?
It slows down the absorption of all food you eat later in the meal.
So the fat slows down absorption, the fiber slows down absorption.
You basically put, as she says in the book, Glucose Revolution, you basically put some stuff in the sink before you pour the sugar in.
So the sink is now kind of stopped up.
That's the example she gives.
So you've slowed down the absorption of these other foods that are going to spike your glucose level, possibly.
And some research shows the more times you spike your glucose in a lifetime, the faster you will die.
So the more glucose spikes in a lifetime, the younger you'll die.
Very serious.
Protein, I'm sorry, after your fiber and fat, good fats, is protein.
That's when you have your meat, your eggs, whatever, after having some fiber and fat.
After that comes your complex carbohydrates.
Now you can have that bread that was put on the table or the breadsticks on the table that were put there before you even received your first course.
And then after that, now your stomach's really full of fat and fiber and protein.
Now you can have that piece of chocolate cake if you want it.
It's not going to...
Spike your blood sugar now because it can't.
It can't race into your blood.
So you get the taste, you get the chocolate fix or whatever you want to call it, but you're not going to have the damage to your body because of sugar.
I would recommend a no sugar diet or a virtually no sugar diet.
And one of the things people have been shocked by is that I will, on occasion, have a small amount of saccharin, the pink stuff in the packets.
People are like, oh my God, doesn't that cause cancer?
I'm like, have you looked at the research on that?
Because saccharin was a breakthrough.
Remember, they made TAB out of saccharin, the Diet Coke.
They made all these diet sodas out of saccharin, and people were losing weight.
People who were drinking a lot of sodas were losing weight very quickly.
My belief, knowing Big Pharma as I do now, knowing what they do and how they lie, I believe saccharin was given a bad rap because people knew that if saccharin was used in lieu of sugar, you're going to cut down the number of diabetic people in this country.
You're going to cut down the number of people with cancer in this country because their weight is going to be reduced.
Their fat cells are going to be detoxified through ketosis.
Now, I realize there's some research saying saccharin can cause cancer, but my understanding is they gave those animals like what would be pounds of saccharin to us.
I use literally a tenth of a packet in a cup of organic coffee with heavy whipping cream if I'm really, really hungry and I want to stay on that fast and I just feel like I have to have something.
It is absolutely wonderful.
It tastes like a dessert.
Again, I use a tiny amount, and I'm cognizant that I now need to detox the saccharin.
So I'll then go in a sauna that night, or I'll do something, because saccharin does make me swell.
I can see it in my face, my hands, if I have any amount.
So saccharin is not the best thing either, but think about the cost-benefit analysis.
If you can stay in ketosis another couple hours, get into autophagy, in my opinion, it's worth it.
I do it.
So that's another one of my hacks, but it's a rare hack.
I might have a little tiny, tiny...
Sprinkle of saccharin on my coffee or tea, you know, one day a week.
That's a big treat for me.
It's on a heavy fasting day where I'm really committed not to eating until at least, you know, 6 or 7 p.m.
So that's the eating order.
Fats and fiber first.
You can also take apple cider vinegar 20 minutes before a meal or even up to 20 minutes after sugar.
Acetic acid in apple cider vinegar and always take it one or two tablespoons with water with a straw.
To avoid the apple cider vinegar from hurting your teeth.
It does something.
It changes the way your body metabolizes sugar, basically.
So acetic acid in your stomach is very beneficial.
I know one person who's about 65. All he did was add a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar and water in the mornings.
In the afternoon, he lost seven pounds in two weeks.
He didn't even need to lose weight.
He's even more ripped than he was.
He changed nothing.
Didn't change his diet.
Didn't change his exercise schedule.
Seven pounds, but he's also nearly 200 pounds because he's very tall.
So he lost seven pounds in two weeks doing nothing else but adding apple cider vinegar to his diet.
So apple cider vinegar has a host of benefits.
You can read about them online.
I have a whole chapter in my book about the benefits of apple cider vinegar.
But if you can't, somehow you just can't find a way to eat fiber.
And fat at the beginning of your meal.
And usually you can.
Usually nothing else.
Some cheese, you know, some nuts.
Salad with regular salad dressing.
Not the low-fat stuff.
The low-fat stuff is filled with awful chemicals and sugars.
But make sure it's a good fat.
And I like Newman's because Newman's seems to always make their salad dressings with, you know, a body-conscious recipe that they stay away from, you know, all the icky stuff and they have you.
Olive oil-based and things like that.
So make sure your salad dressing is olive oil-based or based with some good oil, avocado oil, olive oil, or even yogurt.
So that's the eating and fasting schedule in a nutshell.
You can read more about it on my website, 60goingon30.com, 60goingon30.com.
Now I want to move to the cognitive side because I don't know of a single personal trainer.
Other than me, that really focuses and hones in on what's going on in your mind.
Because we know the mind and the body is extremely connected.
It's one system.
So what goes through your mind?
What goes through your thoughts?
Your self-esteem?
Your belief about your body?
Oh, you know, people say, someone said to me, I just have a slow metabolism.
I can't lose weight.
And I said, listen to what you just said.
And I said, do not ever utter those words again.
Wipe those sentences out.
Of your vocabulary and replace them with this.
I'm learning to lose weight.
My body is learning to reduce fat.
And you write those on a 3x5 card and you tape them to your mirror in front of your sink where you brush your teeth at night and you say it.
You don't just read it, but you say it.
When you say something and read it, it triggers different parts of the brain.
So you're basically understanding how your brain works and you're telling your brain what to think.
And you're basically controlling your subconscious mind through conscious endeavors.
And I recommend this book on my website and to every single person.
It's called The Power of Your Subconscious Mind by Joseph Murray.
Absolutely critical reading.
In my opinion, the most important book I've ever read next to the Bible.
The most important book.
I've ever seen next to the Bible.
And he does quote the Bible, by the way, in the book and explain where the prophets told us similar things to what he's saying about how you can control your subconscious mind by conscious decision making.
And remember, the subconscious mind controls everything.
It controls your heartbeat, your breathing, your sleep patterns, whether you lose weight or not.
That's all subconscious.
Automatic bodily systems.
So you want to control them to the extent you can, and we know you can.
So I will listen to my clients, and if they say something like, well, you know, my whole family has been fat, or I've always been fat, I say, you know, I want you to never say that again.
I want you to say I'm learning to be slim.
And I get them.
And so I listen to what they say to try.
And then they'll say other things too.
Like, well, I just have one bad relationship after another.
You know, men are such pigs and men are such horrible.
I just, you know, I've had people say all kinds of things about how horrible men are and how every time they get in a relationship, they gain weight.
They break up and gain weight.
Things like that.
And I said, okay, you need to start putting a 3x5 card somewhere in your house or all over your house that says something like, I am attracting the perfect man into my life.
I am attracting the perfect husband.
I deserve a good husband.
You replace those thoughts of, I can't meet a good guy with, I am attracting the perfect man, and I promise you, it will happen.
It will happen faster than if you're saying, oh, men are awful, they're so terrible, they all cheat.
That's just not true.
A lot of them cheat.
A lot of the wealthy, good-looking ones cheat, but not all of them.
So you only need one.
You only have to attract one.
And you'll be like a magnet.
You are telling your subconscious mind what to put out into your biofield, into your energy fields.
And people can see it.
I've told you off camera, Jim, some of the things people have said to me in the airport.
People don't even know.
Little children who can barely talk, you know, saying they've seen things.
Because when you raise your vibrational energy, some people can see it.
They actually can see it, but mostly they can feel it.
And they say, I feel safe with you.
I feel comfortable with you.
And it's like, well, that's how they should feel.
Because when you replace negative thoughts with positive thoughts, you bring positivity into your life.
So first thing is, what are you thinking subconsciously that's possibly blocking your weight loss or your health goals or having a great relationship or being okay with being single?
See, I love being single.
And my husband loved being single.
So we met and we're like, you know, neither one of us really were that.
Super keen on getting married, but we had four little boys and we're in Texas where you really, in my opinion, should never be together in front of children.
Certainly not overnight.
So we never did that.
We waited until we were married to sleep in the same room with the kids.
You know, we basically went on vacation a couple of times away without the kids.
But it's the kind of thing where we felt like we kind of had to get married.
I think we did, being in Texas.
That's okay.
I mean, I'm happily married.
I want to be married.
But my point is that you have to call into your life what you want, and you have to believe that you deserve it.
A lot of us women have been assaulted, harassed, whatever, throughout our lives, especially attractive women.
They are brutalized all the time.
From grade school to high school to the legal academy, these women, their careers are destroyed.
And I've seen it happen.
One of the most attractive women I ever met in the legal academy was just a sweet, wonderful, brilliant woman.
And I saw her getting attacked.
And I saw what happened to her.
And she ended up resigning without tenure because the heat became so bad for her.
And so it just breaks my heart.
But don't allow yourself ever to believe that you don't deserve the best in life.
And Paul, by the way, Paul, the apostle, and I don't know if you know the story about Paul, the apostle, he stood by and watched the Hebrews stone Stephen to death, the first martyr after Jesus Christ.
And Stephen shouted out as he was being stoned to death that he saw the Father and the Son.
His face became like an angel.
This is what the witnesses said.
And then he died.
Because he was being stoned up.
But Paul stood by.
He didn't throw a stone, but he was supportive of it because Paul believed that Christians should be prosecuted.
Well, then one day he's walking on the road to Damascus.
I just love this story because Paul was very educated, this extremely smart Jewish scholar, and Jesus Christ appeared to him.
He started walking next to him.
This is after the resurrection, after Jesus left and went to heaven.
He came back.
He said, Paul, I want you to be basically an apostle, a disciple, and to write because you're such a good writer.
So Paul is, in my opinion...
Stand by.
We got a break and we'll be right back and we'll be taking callers.
Stand by.
Okay, okay.

Even the government admits that 9-11 was a conspiracy.
But did you know that it was an inside job?
That Osama had nothing to do with it.
That the Twin Towers were blown apart by a sophisticated arrangement of mini or micro nukes.
That Building 7 collapsed seven hours later because of explosives planted.
Billy Jennings was there.
He heard them go off and felt himself stepping over dead people.
A U.S. Geological Survey conducted studies of dust gathered from 35 locations in Lower Manhattan and found elements that would not have been there had this not been a nuclear event.
Ironically, that means the government's own evidence contradicts the government's official position.
9-11 was brought to us compliments of the CIA, the neocons of the Department of Defense, and the Mossad.
Don't let yourself be played.

So I'm trying to get to a point.
I know I took a little long to get there.
So Paul, who was commissioned...
Hang on, Dina.
I want to announce the call in number 608-957-8727.
608-957-8727.
I think even those of us who may be agnostic or atheist or Zoroastrian, for that matter, can appreciate what you're telling us about food and health and exercise, Dina.
I want to just make a real quick point, though, because one of the things Paul said is it's better to stay single.
And we have a society where women feel like if they're single, they're somehow inferior.
I've heard women say, well, maybe I need to get breast implants or maybe I need to lose weight.
If I could just lose 10 pounds, I know I could find a good husband.
I'm saying to them, no, that's not how you want to think.
You don't have to do anything to change, but you've got to change your attitude.
And so what Paul said was that if you have a really strong sex drive, you know, by all means, take a wife.
But he said it's better to be single.
It's really interesting because most people do not think like that, especially women.
They feel like they have to be married or somehow they're a failure.
Not true.
Whether you're a Christian or not, not true.
You are completely...
Whole, complete, and perfect, as Marianne Williamson used to say, you are whole, complete, and perfect by yourself.
You do not need a partner.
If you find one, that's great, but don't ever value yourself on whether you're married.
And so these women trying to lose weight to get married, I'm like, that's not the mindset to have.
You've got to see differently, and you've got to look at, you know, happiness has nothing to do with being married.
Some of the most unhappy people I know are married.
So that's something we need to also correct, and I'll leave it at that.
From a cognitive perspective, we've got to adjust.
How we think about ourselves, our bodies, and especially about relationships, because the only relationship that really matters is the one with yourself and your body.
And for me, the relationship with God is the first and foremost relationship, but that's me.
That's my belief.
You know, Dina, you have so much to offer here.
I'd be glad to recommend you for a health exercise advice show.
I mean, I'd be really pleased to do that if you're so inclined.
I think you'd be excellent.
I'm interested.
I'm doing some real estate investing right now, and I'm becoming an expert in 401k and 1031 exchanges.
But because our age, you know, a lot of people our age are ready to invest and to get out of the market, which is a little bit questionable in my mind.
I think we're safer with Trump in office.
I think our market is much stronger.
But I'm just someone who believes in real estate.
So that's just me.
But I'm going to be running around the country for a little while.
But sure, I'd be interested.
Sure.
Let me apply some of your principles.
Some of the most surprising about coffee and...
Wine when they're not organic.
Bread, so typical restaurants without bread and butter before the meal.
You're suggesting it's not a good idea to begin there.
My day typically begins with a cup of coffee.
I add French vanilla creamer.
I get it from, actually Amazon sends out these.
Vast number of little cops, you know, so you get an interview.
Yeah, I want your critique.
Don't touch that stuff.
The creamers have come out on a list recently.
I can't remember what was in it.
It was some emulsifier or something that causes inflammation.
You do not want to touch any creamers.
You want to drink heavy whipping cream.
What if you want flavor?
Put a drop of organic...
I'm having one incredible tropical bird, now a woodpecker, coming on my tree after a minute.
You can't believe the view I have right now.
Incredible birds I've never seen before landing on the tree and looking at me.
They hear your show, Jim, I'm telling you.
Sorry about the distraction, but you don't want to touch Coffee Mate.
You don't want to touch any of that stuff.
Heavy whipping cream, cinnamon, a drop of vanilla, vanilla extract, and if you just simply have to have some sweetener, You can use a little monk fruit, a little bit of stevia, or my choice, a tad of saccharin.
And the reason I choose a teeny tiny tad of saccharin over the other ones is they all make me swell.
My body's my guinea pig.
I don't do well with monk fruit.
I don't do well with those things.
I like your point about saccharin, and I do believe it was a marketing genius who said breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and eat your coffee.
Eat your cornflakes.
I mean, how many times have we heard that?
I mean, every day we get a commercial for a cornflakes or whatever.
Now, I don't have cornflakes, but I do have a Jimmy Dean sausage egg and cheese, you know, sandwich for breakfast with my coffee, with my creamer that I shouldn't be drinking.
Now, how bad is that as you see it?
Well, I mean, there's two ways to look at it.
One is the ketosis, the keto diet type.
Perspective, the other ones, the fat and chemicals and other things aspect, the toxicity.
Those meats, those sausages and stuff are usually filled with toxins and all kinds of...
Look at the nitrates, whatever.
Look at the packaging.
There is an organic little spicy, organic turkey sausages that my husband buys at Costco, and I can't remember the name of them, but they're actually very good, and they're actually pretty pure.
Look at the...
You've got to read the label.
You know, it's worth it to be extra cautious to keep it in the refrigerator, use it fast.
If you don't have preservatives...
It's going to go bad faster.
Same with organic fruit.
You have to be more cautious.
You have to watch out for your food if it's organic and doesn't have pesticides used and doesn't have stabilizers or some kind of preservative.
But you want to get your diet clean, clean, clean.
Whole foods.
What I would do in your case, do you want to lose some weight or just want to clean up your diet?
Do you want to detoxify your body and lose a little weight or do you want to just have a more pure diet?
I'm not.
Sure about my objectives here, but Dean, let me ask.
I bet you have a similar critique of restaurants.
I'll bet you restaurants...
Does it depend on the restaurants?
I mean, are there types of restaurants that you'd recommend and others not?
I can't recommend any restaurants at all right now.
I can't recommend any.
The reason why is the spinach, the cream of spinach and all the steakhouses are using non-organic spinach.
As far as I know, I would think it would be on the menu if it was organic.
They're using modern.
I miss that part.
I would not eat cream spinach or spinach salad at any restaurant.
The reason why is they're not using organic and spinach is on the dirty dozen list.
So spinach is quite beautiful.
You can't eat spinach out unless they say it's organic.
Let's hope they're being honest because I'm not sure if you're honest.
What about a filet or a ribeye at a steakhouse?
That's something I will do once in a while.
I will do a filet mignon, whether organic or not.
I live in Texas.
Some of the ranches are relatively, you know, hormone-free and whatnot.
Some of the ranches have names for themselves because they do raise cattle that are relatively clean.
And my doctor in the Pacific Palisades told me that the dirtiest beef is cleaner than the cleanest chicken on the market.
Filthy.
Chicken is the last thing you want to put in your mouth.
He's prohibited me from eating chicken, so I can't eat it, even organic.
So beef, you know, if you can get organic, it can be better, but I've had some weird experiences with organic beef.
I bought some at the Ralph's in Malibu, and I was sick after that, so what was that about?
It was organic beef.
I don't know.
Most women my age really can't have a lot of meat.
It just doesn't work well.
As we age, our intestines do better with...
Different kinds of food, more fibrous food, more fat.
My diet is extremely high fat, but my body is extremely low fat.
Well, how does that work?
Well, fat burns very effectively in the body.
So when you're eating nuts, avocados, it's actually a very effective source of fuel for your body.
And I heard one...
Personal trainer tell me, I haven't found this online, but that when you eat a lot of fats in your diet, you actually produce leaner, sleeker looking muscles.
I'm not sure what that's about, but obviously you're building muscle through protein and a lot of fat.
Kind of makes sense.
It might be a smoother muscle.
I'm not sure.
That's what you look up.
Usually...
I'll have breakfast and only dinner like at 4 o'clock, like an early dinner.
So I'll have a sausage sandwich with coffee and a creamer, but then not eat it until 4, 4.30, something like that.
Is that good, bad, or indifferent?
What time is breakfast?
Oh, 8, 9, 8 or 9. So 8, 9, you open your eating window and you close it at, say, 5?
Yeah.
That is intermittent fasting.
You've got an 8-hour eating winter.
That's an 8-16.
You're already intermittent fasting, which is great because people who do that by nature are usually pretty lean and pretty healthy just because they say, well, I never eat until lunch.
I always eat dinner before 6. Okay, boom.
You're on a 6-18.
So that's really good.
I think you're on an eight, six, whatever.
I mean, you're having a fasting window every single day from the time you have dinner and you're not eating snacks before bed.
So all the way until the next morning, you're on a fasting window, meaning you're probably going into ketosis every day for an hour or two at least.
Well, sometimes cigars for me have.
A snack or something, you know.
How do you feel about Mexican?
Yesterday, oddly, we did have lunch at a wonderful Mexican restaurant.
My wife loves chili rianos.
I had a chili riano on a side and I had a shrimp fajitas.
Their shrimp fajitas are unbelievable.
Now, is that a good, bad, or indifferent meal?
Shrimp is something I would never touch because my doctor, again, the Palisades doctor, he's a fabulous doctor.
Wagner, the Wagner Holistic Institute, he says that sea food, don't touch it.
He said all of it has so many toxins.
And by the way, shrimp are like the scavengers.
They're eating all the stuff other sea creatures are.
So, shrimp is one thing I will not touch, because it's just a dirty food.
I know they taste good, but, you know, the reason I can't talk about the chili rianos with any kind of competency is that I don't know what they make them out of.
So, if you make it at home, and you use organic beef, for example, and you use chili peppers that you cook yourself, or even the ones in the jars that are easier to access, they're almost like...
Jalapenos in the jars.
Look in the back, though.
Make sure they don't have preservatives.
If you're making your stuff at home, you know what goes in it.
If you're at a restaurant, you do not know.
They're most likely going to be using some cheap vegetable oil.
Anything that's going to be deep fried is going to be in cheap vegetable oil, meaning you're just pouring inflammatory materials into your cells.
You don't want to do that.
I do not eat out in general.
I just don't do it because I don't know what's in the food and I know I can control it at home.
That being said, I ate at Bazille at Nordstrom on my birthday.
I wanted to go get some...
Clothes for my birthday, so we went to Bazille and had excellent food.
We had some, you know, bristle sprouts and things, things that you don't, they're either on the clean list of foods that you don't have to worry about.
So you can find things, but Nordstrom does a really good job, too, way above average, I would say, in creating healthy food.
They're very particular with everything they do.
And by the way, Nordstrom's about to go private again.
The family's going to own the controlling share, I think, very soon, probably by mid-summer or so.
So that's a good move.
Let me turn to fast foods.
I recently saw a survey of the top hamburger restaurants, the top 14, and number 14 was McDonald's.
Number 13 was Burger King.
Number 12 was Wendy's.
At the top was Culver's, which happens to be prominent right here in Wisconsin as having the best hamburgers in America.
What do you think about fast foods and those types of restaurants?
Well, depending on the fast food restaurant, I also heard from my doctor back in the Palisades.
He said that if you're going to eat a hamburger, he told me where to go.
I don't remember what he said.
I want to say maybe Whataburger.
I can't remember.
He gave me a couple different hamburger places that actually had high-quality beef because he looked into it.
So yeah, certain hamburger, and I'm not sure that's even the right one.
Whataburger, I think it was something.
There was another burger place.
I can't remember the name of it because I don't eat hamburgers very often.
But yes, you can have it.
But what I would recommend, though, is taking off the bun or taking off half of the bun and eating it, you know, that way.
Same with pizza.
I eat pizza all the time, but I don't eat the rest.
I leave the crust.
I'm going to have a bite of the crust.
You have to be cognizant of what you're putting in your mouth and how it's going to affect your blood glucose level.
Back to your morning, though, I just want to say something very quickly.
If you were inclined to go into a detoxification mode, because you stop eating...
Fairly early in the day at 6 or 7 p.m., you're probably going to be into ketosis by the morning when you break it through having that egg and sausage sandwich.
So if you decide you want to get into some fat burning or some detoxification, all you have to do is switch out your coffee creamer and instead use heavy whipping cream.
Add some vanilla with a little drop of vanilla extract, zero calories, or some cinnamon.
Cinnamon is so good for your metabolism.
I have cinnamon every single day, and you want to use the kind, gosh, now I can't remember it, but there's two kinds.
Use the cinnamon that's more known for not creating a toxic level of cinnamon in your body.
It's like you could eat it all day long, and the other kind you can have problems with, but the other kind is one more common found in stores.
This one.
I'm going to be doing a whole chapter on spices and what they do for your body.
Cinnamon is a good one.
So if you can make your coffee in the morning, put a drop of maybe vanilla, put some heavy whipping cream and see how that tastes.
If it's not good enough, you know, add some cinnamon, add maybe a teeny tiny bit of saccharin.
Make it palatable.
If you deprive yourself of taste, you're going to fall off the wagon.
But there's ways to...
All you're doing is tweaking that.
And if you did just that and ate the same sandwich, you're better off.
But if you can put off that sandwich for just one hour or two hours, remember, every hour matters in ketosis.
And the benefits are extraordinary.
The longer you stay on it, the greater the benefits.
So this is why some people will actually go to bed hungry and do it overnight, even though it's...
Sometimes uncomfortable because they know that if they can go overnight in a fasted state, just one 24-hour period, the benefits are incredible.
So that's what I would do if you want to do that and just maybe put off eating that sandwich until 11 a.m.
or noon.
And then also walk.
Take that coffee with the heavy whipping cream and no sugar and walk.
And now you're kicking up your metabolism just a little bit.
You're burning calories and you're going to probably forget about being hungry.
Is a mile enough for a walk, for exercise?
Yes, absolutely.
Some people say, I don't have time after dinner to go to do much.
I said, get a stationary little tiny trampoline and just bounce on it for 10 minutes in front of the TV. It's fine.
Or do what the lady who wrote Glucose Revolution says, she'll do 30 squats.
Just stand and do 30 squats.
You can do that with a baby in your hands.
Or you can take your baby and walk to the mailbox and back.
Just don't eat dinner and then sit down on the couch and stay there the rest of the night.
You've got to tell your body, we're going to use this energy.
Don't put it into storage because we're going to use it.
So you have to do something to get your body to understand the stuff we just ate is going to be used.
So don't shove it off in the storage facility.
Keep it right close of hand because we're going to use it.
And she explains this in Glucose Revolution.
You have to tell your body what to do.
You have to...
Understand how your body works and control it, and that's the way you stay in excellent condition, you stay lean, and you can control your health and your weight.
Very good, very good.
What about Thai food, Indian food, any of those?
Chinese?
Do you recommend any?
We have a wonderful Chinese buffet here in Madison.
It's absolutely fabulous.
I don't know from your point of view how it would rank.
You know, once in a blue moon, I might do something like that after a long fast because I'm figuring, well, I can and then I'll go work out afterwards.
But I generally will not touch those restaurants because they're probably using all kinds of trans fat materials, bad oils, carbohydrates are used to make things sweet.
A lot of chow mein or those dishes are filled with sugar and starch because they taste good.
You know, they know that.
And that's why so many times in salad dressing and other items.
You'll find things known to be talked to people.
Is it MSG or what I'm thinking of?
Marisolium glutamate.
So yeah, those are really bad for the body, but they use it because it somehow stimulates the taste buds or something.
It makes things taste better.
That's one thing that Newman will not use in his dressings.
Well, I know he's not here, but...
That the dirtiest beef is cleaner than the cleanest chicken.
I mean, that's really remarkable.
I was shocked.
Oh, wait a minute.
There's organic chicken.
He goes, it's so dirty.
It can be organic.
It's still filthy.
I'm like, wow.
And also the farmed fish.
Stay away from that.
The farmed fish has all kinds of problems.
Even fish from the sea.
He doesn't like me having a knife.
He said, I don't want you having any of that stuff because he wants me to be very clean and very healthy.
And anything from the sea.
He said, the sea is so filled with toxins now.
You can barely get a piece of fish that isn't filled with toxins.
We have a caller.
If I'm not mistaken, it's Paul.
Join the conversation, Paul.
You know, it's probably a little late for this, but I thought I... There's two reasons I wanted to call.
The first is that the speakerphone setup that your guest is using, it's just not working very well at all.
It's almost impossible to hear what he's saying.
So you've got to use the headset next time.
The number one thing is it's really, really hard to hear.
He's talking really fast.
I'll just mention, because I've heard you ask a lot of questions about eating out at these different places.
And, you know, overall, Probably not going to be that much different than eating at home, except for whatever it is they cook or fry in.
See, that's the problem.
So, I mean, they're getting their food in many cases from similar sources that we get ours from, except for some of these restaurants.
They have pre-cooked, everything comes in a package.
I had a waitress once tell me that...
One of the few things on the menu, I think this was Atacaro's, if I'm not mistaken, but she had worked at the multiple different chains, you know, that you would consider, not necessarily fast food, but sit-down restaurant.
Yeah.
Open the menu and you feel fantastic.
Chili's, Red Lobster, Longhorn, Texas Roadhouse.
Go ahead.
No, to finish the thought, when you open these menus and you see these photos of all these...
Good-looking foods, which everybody's doing nowadays.
She said almost everything is pre-packaged and pre-cooked.
They just heat it up.
She said if you want to get something fresh, normally you've got to get a hamburger.
They'll make that on site.
And again, this comes from a waitress who had worked at this place for a while, and she was just telling me this.
But again, the trans fats from the oils, that's the worst thing about eating out, Jim, in Chinese.
Places, they're going to use really cheap oils, and you just don't want to do that at all.
This place has like 40, 60 different dishes, all kinds of stuff.
They also have a Mongolian grill where you can put together your own combination.
It's a real fun restaurant, but I don't doubt that there are these hazards from a quality food health point of view.
Go ahead.
So, yeah, and it's all delicious.
I've eaten like that sort of food before, and I do enjoy it on a rare occasion these days.
But she's certainly correct about keeping you off of these commercial seed oils.
And I think I've discussed this with you before, but it should be said, all the listeners that should know this, the worst thing about these is what makes them bad is they are electron strippers.
They will go inside of your body and they will steal electrons.
That's why trans fats are really bad.
Good healthy food, in many cases, is electron donors.
And the internal processes of the body are all about electron transfer.
And that's why, you know, you want to avoid overcooked, over-processed, and or dead food because it will actually strip electrons from your body instead of donate.
So fresh food is an electron donor.
The main thing you want to keep in mind.
Very interesting.
I'm very pleased you called in, Paul.
Dana, you want to comment?
Well, yeah, the other thing is these restaurants are hurting like everyone else has been over the past two years.
And they're going to buy, you know, the foods that they can get for the best prices.
And a lot of times those foods are not going to be organic.
And so even if it looks really fresh, you're looking at bean sprouts or broccoli, whatever you're looking at in the dish.
You know, it could be non-organic food which means you're going to be putting some level of pesticides in your body and if it's spinach...
Or one of the other foods that are really dangerous.
You're putting a high level of toxins in your body.
That's why we'll never, ever eat spinach out.
And even when it says organic, you know, I haven't seen the package and I hate to say it, but restaurants are hurting and they're fudging.
You know, they're cutting corners and they may even be lying.
I don't know.
But I would just say we just simply do not eat out except on rare occasion.
And when we do, it's only something like, you know, a steak.
My husband will once in a while have a potato, but they're not organic.
Again, we eat only organic foods in our house.
And so it's just, we just, we just, I just don't eat at restaurants.
I don't, I don't, I don't do it.
And so that's just how it is.
So, you know, for my birthday, we went out for a drink, you know, not food, but they can't give us, I mean, you know, a shot of vodka in a tall club soda is probably one of the least.
I'm damaging drinks you can have because beer has all kinds of stuff from, oh gosh, sugar, candida, all kinds of stuff that can be in beer.
Your wines are filled with toxins and then they can spike your glucose level.
So beer and wine are out.
And dark liquors also have some issues, but the gin, vodka, even a shower tequila.
Probably much, much healthier, will burn much cleaner in your body than those other things.
If you say, well, gosh, I'd really like to have a drink and I'm used to having beer every night with my football game, try a shot of vodka and a tall club soda with a squeeze of lime.
And if you really say, oh, it doesn't taste good, put some organic grapefruit juice in it.
Make that something relatively healthy.
How about a Long Island iced tea?
Not pure alcohol.
Our bodies are made to detox.
You can do almost anything once in a while.
But what you want to do is create habits where you're not toxifying your body every day.
So on the days when you do have that Long Island iced tea, your body is even more equipped to metabolize it out and go back to a healthy equilibrium.
Paul, again, I'm so tickled you called in.
Give us some more thoughts of yours.
You know, that's it.
This is one of those topics where it's...
It's really hard to live by all the rules that you know.
There's a combination of what I call a balancing act between enjoyment of life versus worrying about everything you're putting in your body.
You have a consciousness of it, but at the same time, you don't want to worry too much.
It's sort of like the old saying, it's not what you're eating, it's what's eating you.
Well, it's actually both.
And nowadays it's worse because we can't trust these people, you know, the so-called food supply.
I mean, they've deliberately put these seed oils in everything.
You know, when you grew up, Jim, there wasn't soybean oil or canola oil in everything you ate.
And basically now there is.
And that really makes me mad.
You can really not buy.
You can't buy much of anything in the store without looking at the ingredients and seeing some sort of soybean oil derivative in it.
That's the worst.
Well, today was such a bifurcated—Dina didn't hear the first 30 minutes where I'm talking about Macron going to have Europe go to war with Russia and Putin warning that it's not going to be like Ukraine, you know, and so we may have a world war in the office that's going to preclude our— Having a better diet if we all survive.
But here's the thing I want to point out to both you and Paul is that, and this again, I found out from the Mindy Pels videos, she talks about the microbiome and how people crave sugar and they crave this and that.
Well, she explained that there's 7,000 or so microbes in your stomach.
And so if you're feeding it sugar, those microbes are going to grow in number and they're going to grow in strength.
You are terrific.
You can stop your own cravings by controlling your microbiome.
You will stop craving sugar.
You will stop craving transept.
If you control your microbiome by what you eat, you will control your cravings.
So it will go away, and you will be happier without eating sugar once you get used to it.
