Now that I've had the chance to watch Trump's speech to the Congress I was very impressed I couldn't do it live because I was doing another show.
But the fact is, it was impressive.
Not what I would call actually an eloquent speech.
But it was very positive in the way the rubber meets the road, showing how in a practical way he was implementing the policies and promises he made during his campaign.
Here's a conservative fix about it.
Trump declares America's momentum is back in historic address.
Present House achievement delivers emotional moments and record-breaking speeds.
Record-breaking.
Because it ran an hour and 40 minutes.
President Donald Trump delivered a powerful and uplifting address to Congress Tuesday night celebrating America's resurgence, highlighting his administration's historic achievements.
His speech, which set a record for the longest presidential address to Congress, was filled with bold declarations, emotional tributes, and a clear vision for America's future.
Yeah, he introduced six or eight different Americans in different contexts to illustrate key points he was making.
Six weeks ago, I stood beneath a dome of the Capitol here and proclaimed the dawn of the Golden Age of America.
From that moment on, it's been nothing but swift and unrelating action to usher in the greatest and most successful era in the history of our country.
We have accomplished more in 43 days.
That most administration accomplished in four years or eight, and we are just getting started.
He announced more Americans now believe the country is headed in the right direction than at any time in modern history, with a staggering 27-point swing since Election Day, highlighted nearly 100 executive orders, over 400 executive actions, restoring security, economic strength, and national pride.
Small business optimism saw its largest one-month game ever recorded, skyrocketing by 41 points.
Nancy Pelosi was visibly seething throughout the address.
She was not a happy camper.
Remember when Nancy Pelosi ripped up a speech after Trump's State Union address a few years ago?
Well...
Tonight was a far cry from that.
Throughout President Trump's speech, Pelosi was spotted seething, ripping a cane, even muttering to herself.
For instance, after President Trump called for Democrats to put aside their differences for one night and work together to make America great again, Pelosi fumed in her seats.
Pathetic.
Meanwhile, 83% of Americans approved Trump's congressional address despite Democrat protests.
This is a staggering number.
The atmosphere in the chamber was electric.
Trump stood confidently at the podium delivering his address to the joint session of Congress.
Representatives and senators filled the seats.
The reactions split.
Long party lies.
In fact, it was astounding to me.
The Democrats sat there like bumps on a log.
They had little paddles, like table tennis paddles, that had statements like, you know, save Social Security.
Frankly, it was pathetic.
Some Democrats had already made their intentions clear.
They arrived wearing protest shirts.
Others planned to walk out during key moments of the speech.
Representative Al Green, for example, suddenly rose from his seat shouting at Trump after the president referenced his 2024 election victory.
He repeatedly yelled Trump did not have a mandate from the American people.
After ignoring warnings from House Speaker Mike Johnson, he was escorted out of the chamber by the sergeant-at-arms.
Meanwhile, The reports from the American people were overwhelming.
Despite the theatrical displays from Democrats, the American people delivered a clear verdict on Trump's address.
Indeed, a large majority approved of what they heard from President Trump.
An astonishing 83%.
I don't think you'd get that high a percentage of approving Christmas or Easter.
And remember, those are not particularly friendly.
They're not going to bias it in terms of Trump.
However, the Washington Post is going to do what it can to minimize.
Here are seven takeaways from the Washington Post.
One, he bled for patience with A little disturbance on tariffs.
Second.
Democrats tried a bunch of protests, but laughter was the best medicine.
Four.
Three.
His repeated victory laps on the border.
I did that.
Fourth.
Two moments reflected the GOP's sudden overhaul.
Fifth.
Trump's fabulism was in rare form.
Six, Trump set a record.
Seven, he made some weird comments about Rubio.
I thought it was all just fine.
Meanwhile, Democrats prove they care more about hating Trump than they do about benefiting America and helping Americans.
During President Trump's speech to a joint session at Congress, The Democrats show the entire country just how truly disgusting they are.
I refuse to clap for an incredible moment for a young brain cancer survivor just because it involved Trump.
Throughout the speech, they refuse to clap for any of the early achievements of Trump's second term, which is to be expected.
But when Trump brought out a 13-year-old brain cancer survivor, the Democrats...
Plus, any ounce of respect Americans might have had for them.
The young cancer survivor, D.J. Daniel, had always dreamt of becoming a police officer.
So President Trump made the young man an honorary Secret Service agent.
Judging from the look on the boy's face, it was one of the greatest moments of his life, no doubt.
The Republican half of the room cheered on and celebrated.
The young warrior's incredible moment, but the other craft, the Democrats, they didn't care at all.
Despite there being nothing partisan about this moment whatsoever, the miserable Trump-hating Democrats couldn't even be bothered to clap for the young man.
It was disgraceful.
Meanwhile, here's a tweet demonstrating that the Democrats No longer, if they ever did, hold the high moral ground.
This is lefty pain good.
Oh, the pain.
Among the psychosocial trappings of membership in the club is that the Democratic Party are power, money, sex, and perpetual occupation of the cherished moral high ground.
Trump mega has taken their power.
Elon Musk and Dodge.
are systematically seizing their money streams.
Most Democrat polls are so old now, they can't even remember all the sex afforded them in their youth.
By having captured feminism in college, guys had to at least feign leftist sensibilities to get laid.
I remember it well.
So that leaves a moral high ground.
And it's so ironic now that they are the ones Having to do the pretending, yes.
The whole thing was always a construct built in league with the media who received similar benefits for their help in maintaining the cabal.
Now they're gone and lost their media too.
So what you saw during Trump's SOU speech is merely the spectacle of insolent, impudent mental juveniles pitching a hissy fit at Daddy having taken the keys to the car, moving rapidly to cut off their allowance while kicking them out of the penthouse apartment they've occupied for decades.
Ouch!
That's really gotta hurt.
I think that captures the moment.
Meanwhile, a Democrat strategist praised what Trump did and criticized his own party.

The White House has suspended all intel sharing with Ukraine.
This dramatic move comes as part of the border freeze on assistance until Ukraine chooses Trump's plan to please and comes to the negotiating table.
I like it.
Meanwhile, U.S., according to RT, is reconsidering funding Ukraine, meaning thinking about cutting it off entirely.
President Trump has paused to see if it's ready to work toward peace.

Washington has paused USA to Ukraine to review whether or not to continue.
White House spokesman Carolyn Leavitt has said.
She made the statement in a press conference Wednesday.
When asked by a journalist if the aid freeze is permanent, the National Security Council told me they paused or they are reconsidering the funding for Ukraine.
It's a pause for a review.
For Kiev was suspended after a meeting between President Trump and Ukrainian leader Zelensky.
He's not, I think, even technically the president any longer, which culminated in a shouting match.
Trump later accused Zelensky of not being truly interested in making peace with Russia, but of attempting to get Washington to sign up and keep fighting.

President Trump on Wednesday issued a threat against the civilian population of Gaza.
Saying the people of Gaza would be dead if the Israeli hostages were released immediately.
This is a war crime.
This is very bad.
This is a violation of international law.
And that's being done by the President of the United States.
I am appalled.
Also, to the people of Gaza, a beautiful future awaits.
But not if you hold hostages.
If you do, you are dead.
Make a smart decision.
Release the hostages now or they'll be hell to pay later.
The president said at the end of a statement, release on social media.
Addressing Hamas, Trump said, Shalom Hamas means hello and goodbye.

This is coming from common dreams of left-wing, but I think they may have a point.
Distorting the meaning of anti-Semitism and making Jews the face of a campaign to crush free speech is deeply dangerous to Jewish Americans and all of us who work for a collective liberation.
A video shown at the beginning of a hearing on anti-Semitism held by the U.S. Judiciary Committee on Wednesday set the tone for the Republican Party's approach to the issue.
With a GOP-led panel featuring images of student protesters against Israel's U.S.-backed assault on Gaza, but none of Elon Musk, a top advisor to President Trump, publicly displaying a Nazi salute at an inauguration event in January.

And of course, fake school shootings, events like Sandy Hook, Parkland, I mean, the endless, you know, Aurora.
These were stage events.
These are FEMA events being used by the government to promote gun control by deceiving American taxpayers as to what's actually going on.

Pours in after disruption of Trump's speech again, Common Dreams, a left-wing outlet.
Al Green stood up.

So that's a great sign.
I mean, obviously, we saw the disgusting display of the Republican Nancy Pelosi and other people and Republicans, too, waving the Ukrainian flag.
The only thing I want to say is, will they enforce it fully?
Because I have you seen, you saw the video, not long ago, there was a campaign before the election going to the halls of Congress and almost every single member, mainly Republicans, I think Democrats do.
What do they have?
Every one of them has the Israeli flag in front of their office.
So if this is going to be passed, because I think Bernie Moreno is probably a Zionist, too.

If I can be bamboozled this badly, how can I trust my own mind to figure out reality from falsehood in order to protect myself in the future?
That's a terrifying thought.
And a person will do almost anything to not face that reality, which they would have to face, because you have to go, oh my God, Almost everything in my head is wrong.
I have to turn around and I have to empty a lot of things that I used to believe were true.
I have to give that up and I have to work to replace it with better things.
And it requires work and humility to do this.
And I'm sorry, but too few people have the moral courage to do this.
We all need to do this because we're all wrong about some things.
And to do this on a journey together to get out of this mess.
Because when we do all this fighting between right and left, Democrat and Republican, commie, they're winning.
When you do that, they are winning.
You step right into their trap of playing that right-left paradigm, and they love it because all while we're fighting amongst ourselves over the crumb, they're running off with, I mean, trillions of dollars.
Like you said earlier, I was so glad.
You know, Elon Musk is nitpicking at the pennies while most of the money that's gone missing is in the military-industrial complex pentagon.
