	Got a good reason for taking the easy way out now.
	It was a day-tripper.
	One way ticket, girl, it took me so long to find out, I found out.
	This is Jim Petzer, your host on Authentic News right here on RBN Live this 17th day of October 2024.
	I begin with six stories, three about foreign affairs, three domestic politics, which I take to be signs of hope and joy.
	Ironically, Hamas leader, Taya Sinwar, killed in Gaza, Israel says.
	Why would that be a source of hope and joy?
	Give me a moment to explain.
	We have the Epoch Times reporting.
	Israeli military has confirmed that troops in Gaza have killed Hamas' top leader, Yawa Sinwar, chief architect of last year's October 7th attack.
	Well, that was an Israeli op, basically.
	It was allowed to happen.
	The IDF and ISA confirmed that after a year-long pursuit yesterday, Wednesday, October 16, IDF soldiers from the Southern Command eliminated Yahya Sinwar, the leader of the Hamas terrorist organization, in an operation in the Southern Gaza Strip.
	Maybe Netanyahu went on and gave a huge talk about this.
	All focus on Gaza.
	So why do I find this actually a positive sign?
	Because otherwise we would have been talking about Israel planning an attack on Iran.
	Information Liberation reporting.
	Netanyahu won't commit to not striking Iranian nuclear oil sites, but we'll consider U.S. warnings.
	Here is a story we would have been focusing on otherwise.
	Israeli PM Benjamin that Tuesday declined to go on the record, stating Israel will not strike Iranian nuclear and oil facilities as the U.S. desires, insisting instead that the Jewish state will only listen to the opinions of America.
	I will make our finalization based on our national interest.
	Well, it may be...
	That the leadership in Israel have decided it's in their national interest not to be obliterated by Iran.
	Remember, I've reported that Russian troops are in Iran.
	I suspect they're manning the S-400 or even S-500 anti-missile systems.
	And we know Iran has the capability of destroying Israel.
	And we know Iran is 78 times larger than Israel.
	It could absorb nuclear attacks that Israel could not.
	I think this speaks of some semblance of sanity returning to the Israeli leadership.
	They don't want to annihilate their own Jewish state.
	Meanwhile, we've had official confirmation Breitbart.
	Hamas leader, Saya Sinwar, is dead.
	Israel has officially confirmed that Hamas leader, Ayah Sinwar, is dead, killed in a chance encounter Wednesday with infantry and units of the IDF. In a joint statement Thursday evening, local time, titled, Yana Sinwar, the leader of the Hamas terrorist organization, was responsible for planning and executing the October 7th massacre, has been eliminated.
	The IDF and Israeli security agency declared, again I reiterate, you know October 7th they moved IDF away.
	They knew what was happening.
	You can't have a pigeon crap on their fence without the IDF being alerted.
	We had former members of the IDF saying this was a cock and bull story at the time.
	And it was.
	And that status hasn't changed.
	And then they gave us all propaganda about babies in the oven, beheading babies, all this other absolute rubbish, reminiscent of the provocation to attack Iraq with this young woman claiming she'd been in Kuwait when the Iraqi soldiers dumped babies out of incubators onto the cold concrete floor.
	It was all nonsense.
	She was the daughter of the ambassador.
	You know, Kuwaiti ambassador to the United States.
	That was just ridiculous.
	Total rubbish.
	But the media played it up.
	America swooned.
	Well, they tried to play the same kind of rubbish again on us this October 7th, believe me.
	More than half of those who died died because the Israelis were running up the numbers using American made-up-batch helicopters to slaughter them, too.
	Yes.
	They're perfectly happy to kill other Jews if it promotes the interests of the Zionists.
	That's what's going on.
	Meanwhile, three stories domestic.
	She's done.
	Kamala Harris completely cracks under pressure, starts screaming about Trump in a sit-down interview with Brett Baier.
	I haven't watched the whole interview yet, but I'm telling you right now, it's already obvious this was a catastrophe.
	Kamala is done.
	Kamala sat down for a one-on-one interview with Fox News host, Brett Mayer.
	This is the first non-softball interview of her life, and she totally cracked under pressure.
	A completely unhinged Kamala began screaming about democracy.
	We're going to hear her say it.
	Kamala's screaming is completely cracked under the pressure of the first non-softball interview of her vice presidency.
	Listen up.
	He talked about locking people up because they disagree with him.
	This is a democracy.
	And in a democracy, the President of the United States in the United States of America should be willing to be able to handle criticism without saying he'd lock people up for doing it.
	Well, he got a lot worse than that, I'll tell you.
	She refused to take responsibility for the death of Jocelyn Lynn Gray as a video of her grieving mother is played in front of her face continues to attack Trump.
	That's all she could do, talk about Trump!
	Here you have another clip where she's not taking responsibility.
	How do you let one of the mothers talk about it?
	Take a listen.
	Because of the Biden-Harris administration open border policies catch and release, they were enrolled in the Alternatives to Detention program.
	This meant that they were released into the United States.
	It was not even a full three weeks later that they would take my daughter Jocelyn Nungare's life.
	I believe the Biden-Harris administration open border policies are responsible for the death of my daughter That's the early days.
	So do you owe them an apology is what I'm saying.
	I will tell you that I'm so sorry for her loss.

	But let's talk about what is happening right now with an individual who does not want to participate in solutions.

	I told you, I feel awful.
	Yeah, but she's not willing to take any responsibility.
	You know who, of course, she wanted to talk about?
	Who she claimed was responsible?
	Donald Trump!
	Why?
	Because he wasn't supporting that border bill that would have created a path.
	It would have legalized 1.8 million new migrants crossing the border every year.
	It was a good reason to oppose it.
	Meanwhile, we got SNL Finally humiliating Kamala with a hilarious sketch.
	They finally turned on her.
	I mean, think about it.
	This is a national institution, very left-wing, but usually very good at political satire, but they've been giving her a free ride.
	There was a time when Saturday Night Live was a show liberals and conservatives alike could enjoy together.
	Indeed, the NBC sketch comedy show made fun of leaders of both political parties fairly equally for decades.
	Sadly.
	That all changed when Trump became president in the years since.
	Saturday and I've become shamelessly liberal, going easy on Democrats, while vilifying Republicans in sketches that are so tinged with bitterness, they are hopelessly unfunny.
	Thankfully, That seems all about to change on the latest episode of the sketch comedy.
	Shocked everyone when it went hard on Kamala.
	In fact, the sketch was so anti-Harris, it led some social media users to declare Democrats have lost Saturday Night Live.
	The sketch featured Harrison Trump competing on Family Feud with her running mates.
	It ruthlessly mocked Harris, brutally making fun of both her odd mannerisms and her embarrassingly frequent word-salid comments.

	During the game, the contestant were asked to name something they kept in their glove compartment.
	After ringing in, Mayor Rudolph Harris gave a long-winded response about her family history before finally answering a Glock, Steve, a big old Glock.
	Andy Samberg-Emhoff, so impressed by Harris' answer, gave the exact same response, which turned out to be on the board again, another gun.
	The skit even went after President Joe Biden for years.
	Saturday Night Live largely ignored Biden's apparent cognitive failings just in the way the Democrat Party wanted them to instead.
	They gave him a favorable portrayal that didn't remotely resemble who he truly is.

	Biden, meanwhile, was defected by Carvey and being confused about where he was mistaken, calling Harvey Regis, aka Philbin, who died in 2020, and asking to buy a vowel.

	Meanwhile, the other story I like, get this, billionaire investor Drunkenmiller, market sure Trump will win.
	Stanley Drunkenmiller, a billionaire investor and former hedge fund manager, said Wednesday, the stock market is very convinced President Trump will be re-elected to a second turn, I must say.
	In the last 12 days, the market and the inside of the market is very convinced Trump is going to win, Druckenmiller said in an interview on Bloomberg television.
	You can see it in the bank stocks.
	You can see it in crypto.
	You can see it even in DJT, a social media company.
	Quite a real, clear politics.
	D.B. Harris lead Trump 49.3 to 47.7 in national polling.
	While Trump leads Harris 48.3 to 47.6 in seven battleground states.
	In the election world today, Trump would win 302 to 236 in the electoral college, according to their polling average.
	Duncan Miller said he could not see himself voting for either Harris or Trump.
	Fascinating.
	Meanwhile, turning to the war in Ukraine, Russia is gaining ground in Ukraine while the Biden admin tries to gaslight American Muslim voters.
	Here we're not talking about...
	Let's start with some facts.
	From August 1st to September 30th, the Russian captured territory twice the size of the Gaza Strip.
	And we're not talking about empty farmland.
	The Russians are in the process of enveloping Ukrainian troops that invaded Kursk and have captured scores of villages and towns along the line of contact in the Donbass.
	The Western press is struggling to come to grips with the reality of what's happening on the ground.
	As I noted, October 11th.
	Why is the Pentagon now pushing the false narrative about Russian casualties?
	The Ukrainians continue to exaggerate the number of Russian casualties that Western officials accept this bunk as true.
	A fantasy tale is presented in a Politico article.
	Russia gains ground in Ukraine, but at steep costs.
	It's nonset.
	In fact, the Russians are already bringing in North Koreans to rebuild.
	The damage done in the Kursk region, and eventually what happens in the Donbass?
	Very efficient construction workers.
	That's a sign they know the war has been won.

	Russian Marines ambushed and destroyed eight U.S. Army Rangers.
	Those Rangers are pretty good guys, right?
	Well, what the hell are they doing in there in Ukraine?

	Let's get the youngsters out there on the front lines where they can be crushed as well.
	A Ukrainian official Tuesday said American politicians are pressuring Ukraine to lower the minimum age of conscription from 25 to 18 to make more young men available for combat.
	If this information is serviced, I can confirm it.
	American politicians from both parties are putting pressure on President Zelensky to explain why there is no mobilization of those aged 18 to 25 in Ukraine.

	Experts have sounded the arm over Israel's dwindling supply of interceptor missiles that constitute the backbound of the Jewish state's defense against aerial threats from regional foes Iran, Hezbollah, and Hamas.
	Let's not leave the Houthis out of there.

	The Americans should know that if one day they enter the battlefield and want to take action against the Islamic Republic, their bases, interests, and ships will all be within the reach of our weapons, said Brigadier General Ebrahim Jabari.
	We have brave and capable forces who will definitely respond to any overstabling the bounds by the Americans.

	can Israel survive Netanyahu?
	I'm with you on the menu of choices available to the Israelis and The United States in the Middle East.
	But before we do, I just thought we'd catch up with Ukraine.
	Is the Russian army continuing its march westward?
	Is the Ukrainian military continuing to lose?
	And what is going on as we understand it with that catastrophic incursion into Korsk?
	Well, let's start from the bottom and work up The Kursk incursion is largely at an end.
	Most of the people that went into Russia, and some of them unfortunately included Americans in Ukrainian uniform along with some Poles.
	There may have also been some Brits involved.
	They're virtually all dead.
	And there's not much left to it at this stage of the game.
	The Russians are in the business of cleanup, not only in Kursk, but up and down the line of contact.
	And again, as we've said so often in the past, President Putin has made it clear that he does not want to rule Ukrainians.
	So we've now moved beyond the traditionally Russian areas where you have Russian speakers into areas that were historically Ukrainian.
	He's not very excited about that.
	He would rather not do that.
	But he's going to press slowly but surely further and further towards the Dnieper River Because he knows that in Europe the appetite for this whole thing is gone.
	Regardless of what Schultz has said or has done recently, the Germans aren't sending any more material help to the Ukrainians.
	They regard this as a lost war.
	Macron certainly understands that.
	I think that's widely understood in Europe.
	The problem is that they're waiting for Washington to stand up and acknowledge reality.
	Nobody in Washington right now is ready to do that.
	And that's one of the reasons that I think President Trump's strength is growing, because people, not just here in the United States, but around the world, want an end to this thing.
	They recognize how potentially dangerous it is.
	And so, as a result, I think they're waiting for President Trump to arrive on the scene, assuming that he wins the election.
	Colonel, I don't want to go too deeply down a rabbit hole, but you did mention something In the answer you just gave, I have to ask you about.
	Americans in Ukrainian uniforms?
	How lawful is that?
	Oh, well, look, if we're going to start worrying about the law, that's being broken, as you know, Judge, so many times.

	We've had Americans on the ground in Ukraine doing all sorts of things in and out of uniform for a very long time.
	We know that other NATO members had people involved with this Kursk operation.
	At one point, it was described as the baby of the Sakyur, the Supreme Commander They said it's the Kavoli plan.
	I don't know whether or not that was true, but that's what was kicked around at very high levels.
	So we've all been involved in this thing.
	And at some point when this tragedy ends, we're going to discover just how many people were actually killed who were from NATO countries and from the United States.
	But right now, all we can do is speculate because those facts just aren't available to us.
	Well, the colonel is always good, no matter whether it's Ukraine or Israel.
	Bibi may have just pulled back from national suicide here by not attacking Iran.
	Then there's a question, what is the general's plan?
	Israel's ongoing ethnic cleansing of northern Gaza, explained by Mondo-wise.
	The ethnic cleansing of northern Gaza as part of the so-called general plan is new, but the only thing standing in its way is the will of 200,000 Palestinians to stay in the north and refuse displacement.
	They know once they go, they will never be allowed to return.
	It's been 11 days since Israel started its latest offensive against the northern part of the Gaza Strip, which includes a complete siege Of the towns of Jabalia, Betlaya, and Bet-Sanon, just north of Gaza City.
	These were the first areas the Israeli forces entered at the beginning of the ground invasion almost a year ago.
	And they're also the first areas where the Israeli army declared full operational control after it claimed to have destroyed all the fighting units of the Palestinian resistance factions.
	But obviously, that was a false claim.
	Like so many others.
	I look at all the lonely people.

	I mentioned two more of what happened as in other stories about foreign affairs.
	Has Israel become a dangerous loose cannon from zero hedge?
	As the world waits to see if Israel and Iran become ground zero for World War III, I've been asking myself how any nation, let alone a tiny sliver of bleached rock, sanded palm trees, can pretend it's all-powerful and immune?
	Sure.
	Israel and America share a kind of proxy control operation in many regions, but the wider world is a lot bigger.
	The lead lines of a story by Gideon Levy at Middle East Eye answered the question for me this morning.
	The famous Israeli journalist and author wrote, a society cannot go far with its head buried in the sand and will certainly be unable to cope with the real challenges confronting it.
	Levy also says there is not a single Israeli, not one, who knows where his country is headed.
	The grandson of Jews murdered in the Holocaust, Levy was for a time a typical mainstream Israeli, a full-fledged opponent of what he termed the national religious orgy.
	Today he fears that pushed extreme nationalism To the forefront of Israel seem an inevitability like so many.
	The question whether or not Israel will exist in 20 years or so is preeminent, and there is no talk of the long-term future and peace.
	A learned author reveals that his country is suffering from repression, denial, and self-delusion propagated by the very same people eradicating Palestinians like insects.
	And here's another from anti-war.
	Don't send U.S. troops to Israel.
	Too late.
	Biden admitted putting U.S. troops in Israel as it continues to provide unconditional support for Israeli slaughter of the Palestinians.
	The U.S. is saying one of its most advanced missile defense systems and about 100 U.S. troops to Israel Deepening U.S. involvement in the Escalade War in the Middle East amid U.S. expectations of an imminent Israeli assault on Iran.
	The deployment of the missile battery in American personnel illustrates how heavily Israel depends on the U.S. Far from being the self-reliant state talks like to celebrate.

	And she decided to retire, and she picked someone that she wanted to take her place, but it had to go through a primary, and there were five people on that primary, and she was not happy with the one that won because it wasn't her pick who was a DEI type of person.
	And so she decided to pull herself out of retirement after 45 years, and her mother-in-law that I know told a friend of mine that this Cheryl Guy is worried about someone coming in there And, you know, disrupting, you know, the clerk's office, which I went online to look at what a clerk's, you know, job description is.
	And if someone has a degree in business or just common sense management, they could do that.
	You just have all these different departments that you have to pick for heads.
	So she's worried about all this happening to her office, she thinks it is.
	And Victoria Bishop owns a radio station.
	There's only two women in Michigan that own radio stations.
	She's one.
	She also has two degrees in business and other.

	And the fact that so many were wounded is very frightening.
	I don't know if you noticed it, but a few weeks ago, we watched Mr.
	Netanyahu deliver a speech in the aftermath of the Iranian counter-strike, where they fired 180 missiles and basically gave a demonstration of precision strike, their ability to hit targets.
	And they only killed one or two people, and that was by design.
	They weren't interested in killing large numbers of people.
	They were trying to signal that we had the capability to penetrate your air defenses.
	Now, the reason I'm bringing that up is that his hands were literally shaking as he read his remarks.
