	I'm relieved to be communicating with you here and now.

	Putin delivered a speech at St.
	Peter's World Economic Forum.
	He had a lot to say, and it appears that the message may have got through.
	According to Sheryl, and I've been seeking to confirm, Putin even laid out maps where Russia would have to strike.
	Including, interestingly, not New York or Chicago or Los Angeles, but rather Raytheon, Boeing, General Dynamics.
	Totally appropriate.
	Adding, not with nuclear weapons either, only conventional.
	I believe Sheryl has it right, and that was the key to why we're here today.
	He also laid out an explanation that, in fact, it's a If the West is going to provide weapons to Ukraine to use against Russia, then Russia might as well supply weapons to other nations to strike the West.
	And believe me, there are plenty of other nations that would be thrilled to get weapons that could be used to hit various European countries, but especially the United States.
	Putin, I think, is pulling the rug out from under the U.S.
	and European effort to dismantle Russia.
	Here's a further Newsmax picking up on it.
	President Putin warned Germany Wednesday the use of its weapon by Ukraine to strike targets inside Russia would mark a dangerous step.
	He said Moscow could, in return, provide long-range weapons to others to strike Western targets.
	Such action by the West would further undermine international security and could lead to very serious problems.
	That would mark their direct involvement in the war against the Russian Federation, and we reserve the right to respond the same way.
	Excellent.
	Meanwhile, Responsible Statecraft observes, droning Russia's nuke radars is the dumbest thing Ukraine can do.
	Actually, I believe it was NATO and not Ukraine.
	But here's the story.
	DAX on the early warning system actually highlights the fragility of peace between the world's nuclear powers.
	For a fleeting moment on May 22, the world have come closer to a catastrophic nuclear accident due to a reckless Ukrainian drone attack on two Russian strategic nuclear early warning radars at Armavir.
	Fortunately, a subsequent Ukrainian drone attack on a third radar station in Orsk in Russia on May 26 failed.
	The incident underlined a few important things.
	First, the Ukrainians could have needlessly sparked a crisis, which the Russians, feeling one of their defenses against a new U.S.
	nuclear attack was down, struck back hard in retaliation.
	Second, it highlighted the need for the Russian to acquire comprehensive space-based nuclear radar of their own, which they may very well have.
	Meanwhile, Larry Johnson reports Russia is flashing red and that the West ought to pay attention.

	I want to call to your attention some recent statements By Sergei Lavrov, who is the Foreign Minister of Russia, and the Deputy Foreign Minister, Sergei Ryabkov.
	That's R-Y-A-B-K-O-V.
	Both men are serious, professional diplomats.
	I've had the privilege of meeting Mr. Ryabkov And I can tell you that in person, he is a quiet professional.
	He is quite underspoken.
	He is not given to bombast, certainly not given to idle threats.
	If you're meeting just for pleasantries, he's very pleasant to talk to.
	So I was floored when I heard him say, The following today, commenting on the Biden administration's decision to allow Ukrainian strikes into Russia using American arms.
	He said that the Biden administration's move may have fatal consequences.
	He went on to say that for unknown reasons, the Biden administration underestimates the seriousness of the rebuff they may receive.
	And he went on to comment he was concerned about Ukrainian attempts to strike Russia's strategic radar system.
	These are the early warning systems that Russia relies on to notify it that a potential nuclear attack from the United States or Europe is underway.
	This comment by Deputy Foreign Minister Rybkov needs to be heard loud and clear in the halls of Washington.
	But it's not just Mr. Rybkov saying this.
	Sergei Lavrov, the dean of foreign ministers really in the world, he's probably the most respected foreign minister there is out there.
	Um, he is the consummate professional.
	And again, he reiterated the very same warnings that Mr., that his deputy foreign minister, Mr. Rybkov issued.
	The way Russia is looking at this is when the United States, if it does decide to deploy an F-16 to Ukraine, Russia has to assume, as the United States would assume, if Russia did the same thing and launched deploying a combat aircraft capable of carrying a nuclear weapon, if they deployed that to Cuba, the United States would take notice and would have to assume the worst.
	Assume that, in fact, Russia would be preparing to strike us and we would take appropriate measures.
	First, warning the Russians And then if they didn't heed our warnings, striking back.
	Well, guess what?
	The Russians inhabit that same kind of world.
	They're looking not only at the United States, actively now encouraging and supporting Ukraine's use of attackers, storm shadow, and possibly German Taurus missiles, It can fly up to 300 miles inside Russia.
	And the Russians have to be concerned and are expressing the concern that they can't be confident that the United States is not deploying a nuclear tipped warhead.
	This has become an especially acute concern on the part of Russia.
	In light of Last week's drone attacks on the strategic radars that are used to detect inbound intercontinental ballistic missiles.
	There you have Larry Johnson doing his best to convey the seriousness with which Russia regards these, the use of American missiles to strike deep, deep into Russia.
	Very, very bad move.
	Meanwhile, Zero edge reports.
	Ukraine officers say recruits arrive at frontline pathetically undertrained.
	In the latest harbinger of Ukraine's inevitable defeat, combat commanders say newly mobilized soldiers are arriving at the frontline so poorly trained and clueless they can't even disassemble their weapons.
	According to the Washington Post, one soldier described his basic training as complete nonsense.
	Everything he learned on the spot was at the front lines.
	An officer who trained recruits said their rival train was limited to just 20 rounds per soldier.
	In most armies, that would barely be considered familiarization fire.
	Consider that as of 2018, the U.S.
	Army basic combat training called for shooting 600 rounds in a 92-hour curriculum.
	Rifle ammo isn't the only limiting factor.
	The Ukrainian officer also noted that there are no grenades for throwing in training centers, and there are no grenade launcher rounds at the training centers as well.
	In other words, No one showing up on the front lines in Ukraine to fight for Ukraine has the least idea what they're doing.

	No doubt the tank is not good, but a general in the American Army doesn't want to admit it.
	In response to recent criticism from the Ukrainian military, Regarding the performance of US-supplied M1A1 Abram tanks, a retired Army general has firmly refuted—actually, that's the wrong word.
	A refutation is a successful rebuttal, which is a response or reply to an argument that is only successful if it establishes a true conclusion.
	He's rebutting these complaints, I guarantee you.
	He's not refuting them because they're valid complaints.
	While acknowledging the maintenance demands of these mean battle tanks, we've discussed the criticism before.
	The controversy arose when Ukrainian tank crews voiced concern about the efficacy of the Abrams tanks in their conflict.
	Citing issues such as armor inadequacy and engine malfunctions.
	Ukraine officials claim the tanks were not suited to the terrain and the conditions they faced, with crew members specifically highlighting problems with armor, engine reliability, and electronic vulnerabilities due to condensation caused by rain or fog.
	They also reported instances where targets remained intact despite multiple shots, raising doubts about their combat effectiveness.
	In addition, the Abrams tank is a top priority for Russian forces aiming to destroy U.S.
	equipment, further exposing their crew.
	All of those complaints are absolutely legitimate.
	Have no doubt about it.
	Meanwhile, When we have Macron promising to send French soldiers into Ukraine, the Russians are going to have to destroy them just as they have Dutch, Spanish, and Czech soldiers.

	Mind you, these are going to be officers who are engaged in directing the combat by the Ukrainians.
	In other words, a command and control center.

	Yevlev is located in western Ukraine in the Lviv region, at a distance of 15 kilometers from the border with Poland.

	According to Russian officials, the attack left 179 dead and 201 seriously wounded, with casualties rising.

	Speaking to Sky News, Jen Stoltenberg was asked to comment on a study released last month by the consulting firm Bain & Company, which revealed that Moscow is generating artillery shells at more than three times the rate of all NATO members combined.
	It's correct that Russia has been able to build up their defense industry faster than we expected, and it's correct that neo-allies have spent more time than they should in ramping up our production, Stoltenberg replied.
	The reason for Western nations lagging behind is that after the Cold War, we actually built down our defense industry.
	However, according to Stoltenberg, The situation is now improving, with all of the NATO allies increasing the capacity to produce ammunition and weapons.

	It's hard to even imagine, I'm saying that, and it's not just some hyperbole or some just crazy statement, but it's becoming more and more Real, something that has to be given a legitimate shot.
	It shouldn't happen this way.
	There should be even no consideration of this, but the facts on the ground are requiring it.
	Earlier today, there was an article in The Telegraph, which was titled, NATO Land Corridor Could Rush U.S.
	Troops to Frontline in Event of European War with Russia.
	Now, listen, that is just a crazy thing to think of that the U.S.
	military, U.S.
	Army in particular, could fight the Russian Army in this current environment here.
	Now, of course, the bigger threat is, and the more troubling threat, is if there was a nuclear confrontation between the two sides.
	But let's look at the situation, what might happen if what's depicted in this Telegraph article were to come into vogue and to happen And the U.S.
	Army would go in there.
	Now, I've fought in several deployments in my time to include large-scale tank-on-tank warfare in the past, and one of my commanders at that time was the then-Major Doug McGregor, who's now a retired colonel, of course.
	You know him very well.
	He's been on our show many times.
	That guy literally wrote the book on how to do future war, how the modern wars can fight based on things that had happened in the past and the capabilities.
	How to project these things out.
	So I wanted to bring him in to talk about this because there's nobody better.
	I promise you.
	And he was not available today to come on camera, but he was able to come on the telephone.
	So I had him on earlier today on a recording so that we can bring it to you live right now.
	And I'm telling you, this is something you need to pay a lot of attention to.
	I always want to bring you quality programming here
	But this thing here with Doug is he brings up some incredibly salient points, and the bottom line that you're about to hear is that the United States Army is nowhere near as capable as to what people think it is, and our policy makers, especially the President in Washington, needs to pay a lot of attention to this, because if he even has any fantasies about engaging in a land warfare against Russia, he needs to rethink, and here's the reason why.
	I'm going to talk specifically about some things, and Doug, actually, I'm going to read a part here from your book, Margin of Victory, because I think that it's very, very much appropriate for what we're going to discuss today.
	And if I can just bring this up, there it is right here.
	You wrote that each chapter of this book is going to be a clearing call to recognize that wars are decided in the decades before they begin, not by the sudden appearance of a new technological silver bullet or presence of a few strong personalities in the senior ranks during the senior battle.
	How effectively national political and military leaders adjust the framework of organization, technology, and human capital to relentless change in society, technology, and world affairs determines whether the nation state prevails or perishes in defeat.
	So if that be true, if basically what you were doing in the decade before the battle is what's going to determine how you do in the battle, the question is going to be what is the United States Army going to do if it goes into a full-scale war with Russia right now?
	And just to kind of set the stage, there's news out that NATO was looking at how it would rush large numbers of American troops if we got into a ground war with Russia.
	And for the purpose of this conversation, we're going to say that it doesn't go nuclear.
	If it just stays conventional, I want to look at what might happen with that.
	Nukes is a very possibility in that You can go elsewhere, but I want to discuss first of all, what could the U.S.
	Army do?
	And first of all, I want to ask you, over the past decade, let's just look at the premise of your book.
	If we look back the past decade, going back to 2014, The U.S.
	military primarily has had experience in Afghanistan, in Iraq, in Libya, in Somalia, several places like that.
	All small-scale stuff.
	So if that's what we have prepared up to this point, what kind of army do we have right now if we had to fight a large-scale army?
	Well, first we have a very small army.
	We're down to less than about 450,000.
	We're in no position to fight a land war in Eastern Europe, which has a front of hundreds of miles and a depth of a thousand miles at least.
	The infrastructure in the theater is not developed beyond Germany.
	There's surprisingly little in Poland.
	So the point is, I can't imagine the use of the United States Army to do much more than potentially defend.
	And you're talking about offensive operations because you have to move into Eastern Europe.
	Having said that, remember that the vast majority of the equipment that the Army is using and the organization that we see on the battlefield today was developed in the 70s and the 80s for use in the 90s.
	And we're now in the year 2024.
	We're talking about a very different mix of technologies, different organizational constructs.
	The Russians have adapted.
	They've had to adapt because they were thrust into a war And there's the answer.
	And there's the answer, not a chance.

	In his time interview, he talks up foreign policy record, offers few details on what a second term would hold.

	First, I want to start with, again, correcting the misunderstanding about Hebrew.
	There is biblical Hebrew, which was one of the Canaanite dialects.
