	The President of France will declare that Europe is at war with Russia during D-Day ceremonies.
	That makes no sense unless an assault is already in progress.
	Here are my reasons for thinking we're there.

	In such scenarios, troops could mobilize through corridors in Italy, Greece, and Turkey to reach the Balkans, or alternatively, advance toward Russia's northern border via Scandinavia.

	It's no coincidence that Britain, Sweden, France, Germany, and now the U.S.
	Have all signaled their approval for Ukraine to use weapons they supplied for strikes on Russia itself.
	Apart from using Ukraine as a proxy war against Russia by arming and supplying it, they're also pushing Russia into a corner where, if it wants to end the conflict, it will have little option but to strike NATO itself.

	Meanwhile, we have that Daily Telegraph reporting NATO mapping up plans to block Russian invasion.
	But really, it's not a Russian invasion we're talking about.
	It's a NATO invasion of Russia.
	NATO is developing multiple land corridors to rush U.S.
	troops and armor—U.S.
	troops!
	U.S.
	troops!—to the front line in the event of a major European ground war with Russia.
	American soldiers would land at one of five ports and be channeled along pre-planned logistic routes to confront a possible attack by Moscow, a official told The Telegraph.
	It comes amid warnings from the Alliance top leaders, Western government must prepare themselves for a conflict with Russia in the next two decades.
	Hey, I think in the next two weeks, logistic routes have become a key priority since NATO leaders agreed to prepare 300,000 troops to be kept in a state of high readiness To defend the alliance at a summit in Vilnius, Lithuania last year.
	So it's all been in the works.
	Meanwhile, Mike Whitney suggests to avoid nuclear war.
	Putin needs to be a little crazier.
	Get this.
	President Brett Scott Wednesday in Uzbekistan might have been the most unusual and extraordinary event of his 24-year political career.
	After addressing the constitutional surrounding Ukrainian President Zelensky's decision to remain in office beyond his four-year term, Putin delivered a brief but disturbing statement on NATO's plan to fire long-range weapons at targets inside Russia.

	What is so remarkable about Putin's comments, not the fact that they bring the world closer to a direct confrontation between nuclear armed adversaries, but that he had to remind political leaders in the West, Russia is not going to sit back and be their punching bag.
	No doubt about it.
	Here's a summary.
	These long-range precision weapons are provided by NATO countries.
	They're manned by experts or contractors from the countries of origin.
	They must be linked to space reconnaissance data provided by the US or NATO.
	The targets in Russia are also provided by space reconnaissance data provided by the US or NATO.
	The point Putin's trying to make is that the long-range missiles are made by NATO, furnished by NATO, operated and launched by NATO contractors, whose targets are selected by NATO experts using space reconnaissance and provided by NATO.
	In every respect, the prospective firing of long-range precision weapons at targets in Russia is a NATO-U.S.
	operation.

	Then Russia fires on time at NATO headquarters and blows it apart because NATO can do nothing to stop it.
	That's Ronu's suggestion.
	I think it's quite brilliant.
	Might be like a splash of cold water in the face of the NATO leaders who are denying the reality that Russian weapons are superior, that Russia can take out every NATO element.
	Meanwhile, The Washington Post reports how bad it is in Ukraine.
	Basic training is barely covering the basics.
	Ukrainian commanders in the field say they are bracing for those of the new troops under new conscription law to arrive with poor training.
	They are going to be ground up.

	But before we get to why I am not there, what happened to you yesterday at John F. Kennedy Airport in New York?
	Well, I was in the process of doing the final boarding of the aircraft where You know, right before you cross the threshold into the airplane, uh, the, uh, the airline attendants ask, you know, just to review your tickets and your passport.
	And I handed it to them, they motioned to go on the airplane and suddenly three, um, uniformed armed customs and border patrol, um, officers came up and, uh, asked if I was, um, you know, William Scott Ritter Jr.
	I said, yes, I am.
	They ushered me out of the line.
	Um, then they, uh, Demanded that I give them my passport, which I complied with.
	And then they asked me that this was my only travel document.
	Do I have any other travel documents?
	I said, no, this is my U.S.
	passport.
	It's the passport I use to travel overseas.
	And I have used frequently, including to Russia.
	And they said, well, we're seizing it.
	I said, on what authority?
	They said, on the orders of the United States State Department.
	I said, who in the State Department?
	They said, we don't know.
	Who ordered you to do this?
	We don't know.
	We can't tell you.
	We're not authorized to tell you.
	They wouldn't give me a receipt for the passport.
	They just said, you got to contact the State Department.
	I said, who in the State Department?
	They said, we don't know.
	You're going to have to figure that one out.
	Then they got my bags off the airplane and escorted me out of the security zone into the General You know, where you walk in and said you're free to leave, and that was that.
	Do you have the names of or a photograph of any of the three of them?
	No, I mean, I was, I mean, you know, Judge, in retrospect, there's much that I should have done.
	I was in my mindset getting ready to get on an airplane and go to the St.
	Petersburg International Economic Forum.
	I was focused on that.
	My mind was already what's going to happen when I land in Russia.
	And so this took me completely by surprise, and I failed to get the names of the three officers.

	And, you know, I am going to be making a call to the Customs and Border Patrol unit at the JFK to get the names of these officers.
	Whether or not they'll give them to me is another question.
	Well, eventually you'll get all of this under the proper legal process, but they obviously interfered with your free speech rights and you're protected by the First Amendment and your your or a right to be free from unreasonable searches and seizures protected by the Fourth Amendment, and what the Supreme Court has recognized protected by several amendments, is your right to travel.
	Was I with you?
	No, you weren't.
	Actually, you weren't with me because I made a phone call to you earlier in the morning recommending that you not travel to Russia.

	Let me just say, I don't think there's any doubt, but because Scott Ritter has such authority and credentials as a UN nuclear weapons inspector and is a brilliant commentator on the wars that are taking place, he has made passionate statements about the risks of nuclear winter following a nuclear exchange that are devastating.
	I believe he was halted by Antony Blinken, the Secretary of State, He represents himself as a Jew, not as the American Secretary of State.
	That Bibi Netanyahu did not want Scott Ritter in St.
	Petersburg, and that Blinken obligingly prevented him from going there, this is all unconstitutionally illegal.
	But they're doing, I believe, because in this moment on the verge of a nuclear exchange, They did not want someone with a passion, the intelligence and knowledge and the background of a Scott Ritter to be explaining to world leaders why this is a very bad idea.
	I played part of his presentation before going that I think explained why they wouldn't let him go.
	This is absolutely stunning stuff.
	And I do believe Scott Ritter had the potential to make a difference, which is precisely why they didn't let him go.
	Meanwhile, turning to Israel, Israeli officials think Netanyahu remarked sabotage a ceasefire deal.
	Israeli officials are worried.
	Recent comments from Prime Minister Netanyahu Sabotage the chances of a Gaza ceasefire proposal put forth by President Biden.
	No doubt that's exactly the effect intended.
	Israeli officials said there was a constructive ambiguity in the proposal.
	That could allow Israel and Hamas to enter the first phase involving a six-week truce and initial hostage and prisoner exchange without Israel committing to a permanent ceasefire.
	A permanent ceasefire and Israeli withdrawal from Gaza has been Hamas' main demand for a hostage deal, but since Biden outlined a potential agreement, That Yao and his aides have said Israel would not agree to a permanent ceasefire until it achieves its goals, which include destroying Hamas capabilities.
	And remember, they want to destroy all of Hamas, including in Rafa.
	And for them, Hamas includes every Palestinian who supports Hamas, which is every Palestinian.
	So they won't be satisfied until they have killed every Palestinian.
	The idea of proposing a ceasefire, therefore, appears to be futile.
	Meanwhile, Israel has been accused of releasing a Palestinian detainee with amputated legs to evade treatment.
	In other words, They don't want to go to the trouble to help a Palestinian they've wounded, so they're releasing a prisoner.
	Israeli prison authorities have released a wounded Palestinian detainee soon after her arrest to evade responsibility for a serious medical condition.
	Her family and a rights group told Middle East Eye.
	Wafa Jarar, 49.
	...was violently detained by the Israeli Army during an incursion into Jenin in the occupied West Bank on 21 May.
	An exclusive device hit a military vehicle transferring Jarrah to the al-Jalamah military camp in Jenin, causing severe wounds to her legs, according to the Israeli Army.
	Circumstances of the explosion remain unknown.
	No further details have been announced.
	While in detention, she underwent the amputation of her legs in the Israeli Avula Hospital, and a court issued a decision to transfer her to administrative detention for a period of four months, subject to renewal.
	Well, the Israelis don't want to mess with treating a Palestinian.

	Trump just finished—I watched the entirety of his comments, and clearly Clearly very, very frustrated.
	I'm very frustrated with it.
	The American people, I think, are just sick to our stomachs about what's going on in the country.
	I'll just tee up a couple of points here that I wrote down about what I saw and what I heard.
	One of the things that Trump said was that this is bigger than him.
	This is much bigger than Trump.
	I think that that reflects his Clear understanding that this is not just about going after Donald J. Trump, him personally, his family, or his businesses anymore.
	This is much, much bigger.
	Now we're looking at the extension—and I can say this—of everything from going back to Russiagate, the impeachments, Every single thing that we have seen the left do in this country to essentially destroy the country in order to change the direction of the United States of America.
	I firmly believe that.
	I think the fact that Trump made that comment that this is bigger than him is a very, very important statement.
	He talked about all the All the different aspects of what the trial was about and some of the internal back and forth inside the courthouse.
	The one thing that I, and I don't know, he mentioned the J6, I got to bring this up, he mentioned the J6 subcommittee that was set up by Pelosi and how they destroyed all this evidence.
	And he mentioned it kind of in passing almost, because it didn't look like he went really off of any—he didn't have a teleprompter.
	He looked like he had a little half sheet of notes.
	But when he mentioned that, I thought he was going to raise the idea that Congress, which we worked very hard for, to at least hold the House of Representatives, was going to do more or to take more action.
	He did not.
	I'm a little bit disappointed in that part of Of his comments.
	I do believe that the standing up of the Weaponization Subcommittee and the fact that many of us worked very hard to get at least the House of Representatives in the 2022 election taken back by the conservatives, by the Republicans, and yet we haven't seen anything done there.
	So let me just toss it to you, And give you, you know, some time to just kind of go through where you think we are in this very unprecedented, historic moment.
	These are unchartered waters.
	People can talk, all these lawyers can talk about all the legal aspects of whatever the law is supposed to say.
	People can talk about polls.
	The polls said generally the same things prior to the 2020 election.
	And we saw the outcome of that.
	So I'm a very, I'm very reticent to believe in any kind of polls at all.
