	We've got about a dozen articles about Israel and Iran, unsurprisingly, and subsequently a half a dozen about the Trump trial and so forth, of which we'll be hearing more.
	The whole Democrat scheme, of course, was to try to embarrass Trump to affect the outcome of the election, meaning this All these trials were improper.
	In fact, that's a ground for their dismissal or for counterclaims when suits are brought in court and they do not have a bona fide legitimate justification.
	Meanwhile, even though the war in Ukraine is dragging on and Zelensky is very unhappy with the United States for not giving them enough money, F-16s from the Netherlands have arrived in Romania for Ukrainian pilots.
	Mind you, the Russians will make short work of this.
	It's more money, good money, going down the bad.
	Meanwhile, here's a report from RT.
	Middle East redefined.
	Iran's retaliatory attack on Israel signals a major change in the region.
	Was Tehran's symbolic attack on the Jewish state a victory or a defeat for the future?
	I have no doubt about it.
	The night of April 13 was another round of shock therapy for the world as Iran launched a direct attack on Israeli territory that followed an unjustified strike by the IDF on the Iranian consulate in Damascus, resulting in the death of 11 diplomats and two high-ranked generals of the Revolutionary Guard.
	Initially, Israel denied responsibility, but later indirectly admitted to targeting the building under the belief it served as a military base coordinating Hamas operations.
	This act clearly violated the Geneva Convention of 1961 and 1963, which protect diplomatic missions.
	Indeed, they are regarded as being on the sovereign territory of the nations they represent.
	Thus, Israel was attacking Iran.
	Typically, such an infringement would lead to the severance of diplomatic ties, but since Iran and Israel have had no such relations and have been on the brink of conflict for decades, Israel's abrupt move can be interpreted as a declaration of war.
	Faced with this provocation, Iran went in a very tight spot and felt compelled to act.
	Almost two weeks of suspense followed As the world waited for Iran's response, which seemed logically inevitable, pundits and analysts mostly considered two obvious options Iran could use.
	Either a minor response, hit Israeli territory or one of its diplomatic offices in the region, or use its proxy forces, which are as much of a problem for Israel as Iran itself.
	Tehran decided to take a third course, both launching a direct attack and using its allies in the region.
	This attack made history as it was Iran's first direct assault on Israel.
	Among other things, it was the most impressive drone attack on record Estimated to involve more than 200 UAVs, as well as 150 cruise missiles, 130 Shab-3, Sa'ji-2, and Kimbar surface-to-surface ballistic missiles, and seven Fatal-2 hypersonic cruise missiles.
	The sites were launched from multiple locations, including Iran, Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, and parts of Yemen controlled by the Houthis.
	And of course, of all those missiles, it was exclusively the Fatal-2 Hypersonic, seven of which hit their targets, destroying what now appears to have been three different air bases and killing 44 IDF or Mossad.
	Thus, Moon of Alabama suggests Iran and Saudi Arabia have a common future looking east, but I'm not at all sure he realizes that Saudi Arabia participated in the attack in the defense of Israel from Iran, which in my opinion was a colossal blunder.

	Biden and the hapless unilateral people around him are left aside.
	I think that's quite correct.

	Saudi Arabia participated in intercepting a Houthi missile headed toward Israel.

	Saudi Arabia intercepted one of the cruise missiles fired toward Israel last week by Ranbath Houthi rebels, the Wall Street Journal reveals.
	The U.S.
	was known to have shot down the other four missiles from its USS Kearny guided missile cruiser.
	But Saudi involvement in the missile defense had been unknown until now.
	Saudi Arabia's Patriot missile defense array is supplied by the United States, which said that the missiles were likely headed toward Israel.
	Of course.
	But that Saudi Arabia should have done this, I think, was highly inadvisable.
	Meanwhile, the Jerusalem Post Saudi Arabia says it helped defend Israel against Iran.
	Many of the drones and missiles had to travel over Jordan and Saudi airspace to reach Israel.
	Saudi Arabia acknowledged that it had helped the newly forged regional military coalition, Israel, the United States, Jordan, the United Kingdom and France, repel an Iranian attack against a Jewish state early Sunday morning.
	The story?
	In canned news, spoke of Saudi involvement, in which 99% of the Iranian drones and missiles were destroyed before hitting their targets.
	Yes, we know.
	That's right.
	Meanwhile, the US, not Israel, this is from the Israel-Palestine news, US, not Israel, shot down most Iran drones and missiles.
	American forces did most of the heavy lifting, responding to Iran's retaliation for the attack on its embassy in Damascus.
	The United States shot down more drones and missiles than did Israel on Sunday night, Saturday night, during Iran's attack, The Intercept reports.
	More than half of Iran's weapons were destroyed by U.S.
	aircraft and missiles before they even reached Israel.
	In fact, By commanding a multinational air defense operation and scrambling American jet fighters, this was a U.S.
	military triumph.
	Well, that's one way to spin it, but I really don't think that's how it pans out.
	Meanwhile, here's an expert naming Iran's Trump cards in the events of an escalation with Israel.
	Since Iran's attack on Israel in response to an Israeli airstrike on the Iranian embassy in Syria, the likelihood of escalation has not decreased.
	Complications are likely to increase.
	Here's expert Yuri Berenchik drawing attention to what was happening, pointing out Tehran's serious trump cards in the case of another round of tension.
	According to the expert, if it escalates, Iran may attack certain objects of strategic importance for Israel.
	He emphasized the Iranian attack showed that there is no absolutely reliable air defense.
	You can distract and overload it with fairly cheap UAVs and missiles, but hit important targets with hypersonic, the interception of which is impossible, he specified.
	As for strategic objects on Israeli territory, such targets could be Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv, the main air gate connecting Israel with the rest of the world, oil refineries in Haifa and Ashdod, nuclear research center at Dimona, where the reactor is located.
	If they are defeated, meaning if they are destroyed, then Israel will have gigantic problems.
	In addition, it's obvious that the defeat of Dimona, destruction, will lead to radioactive contamination of significant, if not all, territory of Israel.
	Accordingly, due to its small size, it can become completely unsuitable for life for many decades.
	You know, the strikes would be carried out not only by Iran, but also its allies, for example.
	The Lebanese Hezbollah, which has a substantial missile arsenal and stock of UAVs, is more difficult to shoot down many missiles launched from Lebanon than those fired from Iran, since the distance and reaction time are shorter.
	Tehran is not yet this important and reliable resource.

	I don't like to see that.
	I'll tell you, given the report, which I certainly am inclined to believe to be true, to wit that Iran actually does have nukes, which it would have obtained from North Korea, that is a fundamental, what they call,

	I have long maintained that if Iran had nukes, We did usher in a similar era of stability in the Middle East, because both Iran and Israel would know while they could attack one another, they'd also suffer annihilation.
	Now, frankly, Iran, in my opinion, has acquired more than enough conventional weaponry to take out Israel.
	And if Israel does seek to strike Iran, and we know they've been promising, I was reporting again and again, how many different layers of Israeli governmental leadership were declaring that they have an obligation to hit Iran.
	Iran is going to strike back far more forcefully.
	It's going to happen if the Israelis attack.
	Now, given this report, Again, which I take to be true, given the report that Putin has contacted Netanyahu to inform him that Iran has nukes, I think that the Israelis have to think again.
	I don't believe they can afford to attack Iran.
	I believe this is going to change everything.
	It's also going to alter US policy in the Middle East.
	Because it's all been predicated on the assumption that the US and Israel had nukes and Iran did not.
	Well, if that ain't the case, as I believe, as War News 24-7 is reporting, when they're trying to suppress a report, that's because that's something they don't want the world to know.
	Believe me.
	This has been, in the past, a highly reliable source.
	So I find it quite striking under these circumstances that should happen.
	I believe this has come to pass.
	And frankly, I've been encouraging Iran to get nukes forever.
	It seemed to me to be indispensable to countering the threat posed by Israel.

	push for a Middle East NATO failed to emerge during the Iran strikes.

	Well, I just had a phone call from a very good colleague with excellent sources who's an intel expert himself.
	And he's telling me what he's piecing together is an agreement between the U.S. and Israel that Israel will not attack Iran if the United States will attack Iran in its stead.
	and the United States will give Israel The green light to attack Rafa.
	I think this is absolutely calamitous.
	Any attack on Rafa will be unacceptable to the whole world because it continues to slaughter the genocide.
	For the US to attack Iran is going to initiate a world war.
	I have no doubt about it.
	Russia will not stand by and allow Iran to be destroyed.

	So that's what I get from a phone call just during this break.
	Meanwhile, Biden claims to support a two-state solution, but his actions say otherwise.
	And that's absolutely right.
	This is even from Truthout, which is a left-wing website where I review articles from many different sources to see what they have to contribute.

	Recent initiative by the Palestinian government to revive their application for UN membership are putting to the test the US claim it supports a two-state solution.
	A Palestinian state on at least some portion of the West Bank and Gaza Strip, along with a secure Israel.
	However, the Biden admin and Congress have been working hard to ensure that does not come about.
	The state of Balzheim was declared in 1988 and has since been recognized by 140 countries.
	The Baalistinian Authority, the recognized Baalistinian government, controls most of the urban areas in the West Bank, with some limited administrative control of larger areas, though Israel controls security for most of the territory.

	Unlike most governments that support a two-state solution, the United States only recognizes Israel.

	and believes that remains a policy to this day.
	So it was Obama was involved in this deceit.
	Biden is obviously continuing it.
	Where Trump stands is not clear to me.
	I would expect we're going to get clarification as this campaign works out.
	Meanwhile, and I was horrified when this took place, Democrats shut down the Senate trial for the Mayorkas impeachment charges.
	I mean, if there were ever a case of deserving impeachment, this was it.
	Senate Democrats voted unanimously to shut down the Senate trial of President Biden's impeached Homeland Security Chief Alejandro Mayorkas.
	The first vote of 51 Democrats and 48 Republicans, with one non-voting Republican senator, was reported at 3.18 p.m.
	Wednesday, yesterday.
	The vote initiated by Majority Leader Chuck Schumer declared the first article of impeachment to be unconstitutional because the charges against Mayorkas did not rise to the impeachable level of high crimes or misdemeanors.
	The House's articles of impeachment charged him with the willful and systematic refusal to comply with the law, really to enforce the law, Over the border, including Congress's law that asylum seekers be detained until their legal claims are completed.
	That's a slam dunk.
	The vote was delayed while Republicans proposed motion to extend the trial period.
	Each proposal was defeated with the same 51 to 49 vote.
	Immediately thereafter, Schumer proposed a vote to take down the second article of impeachment, which said Mayorkas lied to Congress about border security or a breach of public trust.
	It is a felony, Senator John Kennedy said, as he proposed a motion to delay the vote.
	The Democrats passed their motion at 416, wiping out a second article of impeachment.
	Republican legislators say the Democrats want to minimize public recognition of damage caused by Morocco's refusal to endorse the nation's popular and beneficial integration laws.
	The evidence is devastating, said Kennedy.

	Reports say Kiev is not actually expected to pay them back, and that a Biden admin will have the power to cancel the bid.
	The bill to fund the proxy war in Ukraine totals nearly $61 billion.

	Mike Johnson's top policy advisor is a former lobbyist whose clients have corporate interests in the Ukraine war.

	The inside story of how Speaker Mike Jones went flip-flopped on Ukraine aid starts with his top policy advisor, a former lobbyist, whose clients include a number of major companies who have issued corporate statements indicating some kind of interest in the war.
	Johnson policy director Dan Ziegler was until he joined the Speaker's office as a top policy aide when Johnson won the speakership last year.
	A lobbyist with a firm, Williams & Johnson.
	He previously worked for Johnson in other capacities, but left Johnson to become a lobbyist and accumulated a client list that included several top companies, some of which seemed to have financial interest in seeing Congress pass Ukraine aid.
	Lobbying firm for which he worked represents a number of top companies.
	Disclosures made reveals Ziegler represented them, including several issued statements or other public about how their involvement with Ukraine affected their business.
	How bad is that?

	About how the key lobbyist actually in the war is not AIPAC.
	I think actually Israel has the power over the United States.
	I think that's the problem.

	But they're just getting so much money from those political forces that I just don't see them shifting course at all.
	Do you think that that money and that money is powerful?
	I mean, the majority, what is it?
	It's like a lot of the money is coming from Christian Zionists, but we also have a lot of Jewish billionaires in this country.
	I think it's like 30% or something of the billionaires are Jewish and they're funding and they're putting pressure.
	That's a lot of money that these guys can't give up.
	And I mean, that's to me, it's the only explanation for their blind allegiance.
	It's not about morality.
	It's not about ethics.
	Everything would point to the opposite of that.
	It's instead just about, I don't want to lose my donors.
	I don't want to lose the funding.
	I don't want to piss off the billionaire class.
	It's funny because I actually ended up writing my master's thesis specifically on the Israel lobby and the way it influences policy, and I think it's a little multifaceted.
	So there's multiple levels to it.
	One, there's no question that the Christian evangelical base in the United States is very significant, but it's primarily concentrated with influence in the Republican Party.
	when George W. Bush was demanding that Israel end its military operations in Janine back in 2002, when they were causing very significant civilian casualties, it was the Christian right that applied tremendous pressure on the Bush administration to get them to back it was the Christian right that applied tremendous pressure on the Bush administration to get And then you have another component, which is the military corporations.
	You know, U.S. military funding for Israel is effectively a gift back to U.S. military corporations because that's where Israel just spends all that money buying weapons from U.S. military.
	military corporations.
	So the military establishment is invested in a relationship with Israel in which Israel is dependent on U.S.
	weapons and constantly needs more and more of them.
	And then, of course, the last component is the AIPAC component and affiliated billionaires and donors and so on and their influence on policy.
	But what's most interesting to me in the research that I've done on this is that when you look at the track record of confrontations between the Israel lobby and US administrations, you begin to see a clear pattern.
	There are obviously endless examples, I'm sure you're familiar with most of them, of the Israel lobby pushing the administration to capitulate in the face of a confrontation with Israel.
	And we easily point at these and say, "Oh, look, it's an example, Clearly the Israel lobby is in charge.
	But then you look at a different set of examples in which when Israel challenges real and deep strategic interests that are entrenched in the United States, they don't fare very well.
	When Israel wanted to sell missiles, or no, struck an economic deal with North Korea in exchange for North Korea agreeing to not sell missiles to Iran and Syria from Israel's perspective, that's a significant national security issue that we don't want large missiles from North Korea being sent to Iran and Syria.
	But the U.S.
	was so invested in isolating North Korea that they pushed Israel and forced Israel to cancel that economic agreement.
	And when Israel tried to sell military technology to China, the U.S.
	also got extremely upset.
	I think it was in 2005, if I'm not mistaken, Refuse to meet with Israeli diplomats and Israel has to issue a public apology.
	And so you see that when you challenge real strategic interests in the US, the conversation does change.
	And the problem right now is on the question of Iran.
	If you were to dig a little bit deeper, obviously the strategic interest of the US would be threatened by complete and total regional chaos.
	But it's not in a very clear and surface level way.
	That anybody is going to immediately raise their antennas.
	There's still a bit of ambiguity about what that would actually look like and how it might roll out in practice.
	That this interest in continuing regional conflict that just keeps the money flowing to military corporations in the U.S.
	and that investment in militarism, it's a little bit more vague, so it's not clear how that's ultimately going to break.
	But certainly, if American policymakers are thinking more In a more focused way about what's good for the United States, it is absolutely to put an end to this insane slide towards regional catastrophe and to put an end to what Israel is doing.
	And not just in its confrontation with Iran, but putting an end to the onslaught and the slaughter they're committing in Gaza, because that is precisely the driving force that is pushing the entire region towards the edge.
	So what he's emphasizing is actually the most powerful force is the military-industrial complex.
	Believe it or not.

	Meanwhile, Marjorie Taylor Greene wants lawmakers who vote for Ukraine aid to serve in the Ukrainian military.
	Love the girl.

	Most conservative Republicans are very much against the over $60 billion in new Ukraine aid that the GOP and Democrat establishment desperately wants, especially considering the billions America has already spent there.
	And I would add that the war is already lost.

	What does that mean for Congress?
	They've been whittling away at the Republican lead, remember, in 2022.
	Even James Carvel admitted that basically 57 seats had been stolen from the Republicans.
	I mean, it's just outrageous what the Democrats have done in destroying democracy.
	As the Speaker faces, now they've been chipping away, they've had some retirements.
	The number was never very significant, and now it's going to be, it would appear, down to one.
	As the Speaker faces an Ulster threat.
	He also presides over a deeply divided Republican conference, making him more reliant on Democrats to pass legislation.
	I think this guy is turning out to be a Democrat speaker.
	He may call himself a Republican, but he ain't one.
	After a string of retirement and an expulsion, House Republicans will soon hold the thinnest majority in modern history.
	House Speaker Johnson is leading a Republican conference That can spare only one defection in a party that's already thrown its own speaker over internal divisions.
	Such a thin advantage gives Republicans little in the way of leverage in a government that's otherwise completely controlled by Democrats, particularly as inviting in the threat of a new motion to vacate against Mr. Johnson hangs over all that he does.
	Deservedly so.
	Meanwhile, turning to New York City.
	Here are the first jurors in the so-called hush money case.
	They're being empaneled.

	Over half of the juries already been selected.
	We already know a lot about them, and it is hysterical.
	Before we tell you about them, remember that this is a Manhattan jury.
	It went 87% for Biden.
	And the judge who's overseeing the selection process is a Biden donor whose family was paid by the Biden campaign.
	Yesterday, 50 white women wearing masks fled the courtroom, claiming they couldn't be fair to Trump.
	Anyone wearing a mask at this point is not an impartial juror.
	Here's one white woman who works in cybersecurity who was excused.

	Did you say you could be unbiased on it?

	It's very difficult for anyone really in this country to not come to this with prior opinions.
	I think we all have prior opinions about the defendant unless you've been like living in a cardboard box.
	Show me a juror who says they can be unbiased towards Trump and I'll show you a liar.
	That's why we don't have political trials in America.
	Fairness is impossible.
	Trump's legal team was given the names of potential jurors, and after googling them, discovered there were undercover activists trying to sneak onto the jury.
	One juror couldn't recall any anti-Trump feeling, but when the defense showed him the receipts, he admitted he'd posted on social media, quote, Donald Trump should be locked up.
	Another juror said he didn't remember posting anything bad about Trump, And then when shown the evidence, conceded to posting a picture that says, quote, Trump invites Thai boys to the White House.
	Thai boys request to return to cage.
	Those two radical liberals got caught lying to the court and were almost seated on the jury.
	This is what Trump has to deal with.
	Yesterday, Clay Travis was criticized for suggesting Trump supporters get on the jury.
	So far, seven jurors Have been seated.
	Here's what we know about them.

	He used to be a waiter, didn't finish college, and likes anything outdoorsy.
	He's married with no kids.

	A nurse from the Upper East Side with a master's degree.

	She said two things that really stuck out.
	One quote, I don't really have an opinion of Trump.
	And quote, no one is above the law.
	I'm not so sure about journal.
	There's more, of course, there.
	Meanwhile, we have a juror who is dismissed citing concerns over being impartial and having their identity made public.
	I wouldn't be surprised if their identity was made public.
	It would be obvious that they were not impartial.
	Meanwhile, Joy Reid says there's something wonderfully poetic about DEI officials prosecuting Trump.
	Here's Bill Barr making an observation that I happen to agree with in this instance.

	Now, has Israel struck back yet?
	No, not yet, but they're in the process of figuring out what they're going to do.
	I don't know if you got my report after the break where I had a caller who was good at teleconnection says they've made a decision that The United States is going to attack Iran and that Israel is going to launch an attack on Rafa and I hope it's wrong.
	Since there's no obvious justification for a US attack on Iran, they're going to have to stage a false attack in the United States and blame it on Iran.
	That's what I'm now most worried about.

	Well, yeah, I would I would offer the opinion that the Israeli-American relationship is so divided that they're not able to do brinksmanship at this point in time.
	And if they were powerful, they would have struck back.
