	Meanwhile, House Republicans impeached Homeland Security Secretary Mayorkas in an historic controversial vote.
	Here's how ABC reported it.
	Since 1876, a sitting U.S.
	Cabinet Secretary has been impeached.
	The yeas are 214 and the nays are 213.
	The resolution is adopted.
	The Republican-led House narrowly impeaching Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas after a failed effort last week.
	They accuse Mayorkas of failing to enforce immigration laws, triggering a crisis at the southern border that has resulted in millions of illegal migrants crossing since President Biden took office.
	It shows that our conference is willing to hold the Biden administration accountable.
	We did exactly what we should be doing.
	Now it's up to the Senate to do their job.
	But the impeachment articles are expected to be rejected by the Senate, which is controlled by Democrats.
	Majority Leader Chuck Schumer calling the move a new low for House Republicans.
	Democrats and some Republicans insist this all amounts to simple policy disagreement.
	House Republicans just days ago rejected a bipartisan border security deal, saying it wasn't tough enough.
	President Biden warning history is watching.
	And I say to the House members, House Republicans, You got to decide.
	Are you going to stand up for freedom?
	Or are you going to side with terror and tyranny?
	Are you going to stand with Ukraine?
	Are you going to stand with Putin?
	Are you going to stand with America or Trump?
	The Senate could take up the impeachment by the end of the month.
	And that bipartisan border deal also included funding for Israel and the war in Ukraine.
	That funding was approved separately by the Senate yesterday, but it's still hung up in the House.
	Yeah, and it's not going to go anywhere in the House.
	Secretary Livingston has indicated it's dead on arrival, as it should be.
	The statement by Schumer was revealing that the Democrats want open borders.
	They regard every one of those coming across the border as a Democrat voter, potentially.
	They're going to do everything they can to bring in as many as they can in the shortest term possible, even though it represents a major National security issue for the United States.
	Get this if you want to know how bad things are in Ukraine.
	It turns out that it takes.
	All a year for Ukraine to fulfill munitions.
	Artillery shall request.
	It's hard to buy 155.

	Israel's Rafah ground invasion, a sinus war against Islam is about to explode.
	Now, remember, Rafah is a city in the southernmost part of Israel on the border with Egypt.
	In fact, there's a Rafah in Egypt as well as a Rafah in Israel.
	And the Israelis have been, you know, moving forcefully, encouraging all of Palestine to go south.
	So now in Rafah, I think they're around 1.6 million.
	Here's how Joaquin begins.
	The deadly establishment of Israeli bombardment by land, sea and air in Rafah, Gaza Street, southernmost border city, took place.
	America was sidetracked by the Super Bowl on Sunday.
	Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu went on ABC News this week to announce victory is within reach.
	We're going to do it.
	We're going to get the remaining Amash terrorists and battalions in Rafah, which is the last bastion, but we're going to do it.
	Mind you, They regard all Palestinian children, women, old men as Hamas supporters.
	They make no distinction.
	Overnight then, Monday, February 12, anywhere from over 100 to 164, Palestinians were reportedly murdered by Israeli attacks.
	International alarm and coordination of the Israeli hardline government is growing by the day.
	Simultaneously accompanied by IDF airstrikes, offshore IDF ship launch assaults, and IDF artillery attacks from inside Israel, an IDF special forces operation launched an incursion in Rafah during the early morning hours Monday local time to rescue two Israeli hostages in Rafah, with initial reports that 37 Palestinians were killed at the same time.
	Israeli tanks, armored personnel carriers, and armored engineer vehicles are berthing further into Gaza's next kill zone of Rafah.
	This, I guarantee, isn't going to happen favorably.
	Even if Israel has an advantage now, ultimately, it will pay for this.
	Meanwhile, The New Arab asks, did Biden give Israel a green light to assault Gaza's Rafah city?
	The U.S.
	has supported Israel's war effort militarily and diplomatically, sending arms shipments to Israel and rejecting ceasefire efforts by the U.N.
	It looked very much as though the US has given Israel support, the green light to launch a military assault on Rafah.
	A leading Palestinian politician has reported, despite reports, that relation between Biden and Netanyahu are at the breaking point.
	Mustafa Barghouti, General Secretary of the Palestinian National Initiative, told Al Jazeera.
	Biden's warning to Israel they should not launch an attack without a plan to safeguard the city's inhabitants is de facto support for a military campaign, which NGOs warn could kill thousands.
	I think the number would be far greater.
	So here you have, according to Reader Supported News, Biden joins international calls for Israel to halt a Rafah offensive.
	You're going to have to interpret this with some care because Biden is speaking out on both sides of his mouth at the same time, and they're all weak and pathetic.
	Joe Biden has added his voice to growing international calls for Israel to drop plans for an all-out military assault on the city of Rafah in southern Gaza after a ferocious hostage refugee operation that killed dozens of Palestinians.
	Speaking after a talk with George King Abdul at the White House Monday, the U.S.
	President said a major military operation in Rafah should not proceed without a credible plan for ensuring the safety and support of more than one million people sheltering there.
	Many people there have been displaced multiple times, fleeing the violence to the North, and now they're packed into RAFA, exposed and vulnerable.
	They need to be protected.
	Needless to say, all Biden has to do is cut off the weapons that are being sent to RAFA.
	Here we have AntiWar.com also interpreting Biden's actions as a green light.
	The U.S.
	has given Israel the green light to kill civilians in Rav Ha, despite public comments from U.S.
	officials calling for Israel to come up with a plan to protect civilians in the city, which is backed with an estimated 1.5 million Palestinians.
	U.S.
	officials told Politico the Biden admin was not planning any consequences, not planning any consequences for Israel.
	If it went ahead with a major assault on Ra'afah, which would inevitably kill a large number of civilians.
	No reprimand plans are in the works, meaning Israeli forces could enter the city and arm civilians without facing American consequences.
	When has Israel faced American consequences?
	In my lifetime, I cannot think of once.
	Meanwhile, Israel has even gone so far as to suggest green tent cities.
	Of course, they want them to be in Egypt, paid for by the United States.
	Israel is the most green U.S.-funded tent city in Gaza, part of an evacuation plan for Rafa.
	As Israeli forces prepare to invade the city, Egyptian officials told the Wall Street Journal, it's estimated 1.5 million Palestinians are backed into Rafah, which had a pre-war population of about 275,000.
	Under the Israeli proposal, 15 campsites of around 25,000 tents would be created along Gaza's coast to house the millions of Palestinian civilians sheltered there.
	Egyptian officials said Egypt would be responsible for establishing the campsite.
	And that the U.S.
	and its Arab partners are expected to pay for the tent cities.
	When asked about the proposal, an Israeli official told the Times of Israel several options were being discussed related to evacuating Rafah, none of which had been approved so far.
	So that's their response to the request that plans be made to protect the The innocent civilians in Rafa, they're going to have a big tent city.
	Meanwhile, it's very disturbing.

	It was received by Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, who stressed that by supplying arms to Israel, the U.S.
	is increasing the risk of the conflict, spraying to other countries in the Middle East, and of course, becoming responsible a party an accessory to Genocide.
	Unavoidable.
	Meanwhile, a top EU diplomat—the top EU diplomat—has slammed the U.S.
	for continuing to arm Israel.
	Joseph Borrell, the European Union top foreign policy official, took a swipe at the U.S.
	Monday, proclaiming it's concerned about civilian casualties in Gaza while still supplying weapons to Israel to support the slaughter of Palestinians.
	Well, I was referencing Biden's calling for Israel's military operation, even calling them over the top.
	I'm not changing his policy of unconditional support for Israel.
	Well, if you believe that too many people are being killed, maybe you should provide less arms in order to prevent so many people from being killed.
	If the international community believes this is a slaughter, that too many people are being killed, Maybe we have to think about a provision of arms.
	Of course, what could be more obvious?
	Meanwhile, you heard about that killing of the three Americans in Syria by a drone.
	Remember, get this.
	The Intercept reports.
	Logistics outpost in Jordan where three U.S.

	The Pentagon is covering up a real purpose of Tower 22, targeting the very Iran-backed militant groups that attacked last month.

	What else would we expect?
	Meanwhile, Netanyahu has rejected a hostage deal even though it was drawn up by Mossad, Shin Bet and the IDF.
	How bad is this?
	Hostage deal talks ended in Egypt without any breakthrough as Netanyahu sent Israeli officials only to listen.
	Israeli PM Netanyahu rejected an outline of a potential hostage deal with Hamas Drawn up by Israel's Mossad spy agency, the Shin Bet security agency, and the Israeli Defense Forces.
	What more could you ask?
	If they agree, why would Netanyahu object?
	According to the Times of Israel, the proposal was put together by Mossad Chief David Barnier, Shin Bet Chief Rowan Barr, and Major General Nitzan Alon, an IDF official in charge of intelligence efforts to find Israeli hostages in Gaza.
	Details of the outline are unclear, but it was likely a response to a most recent counteroffer for 135-day truce to facilitate the release of Israeli hostages and Palestinian prisoners and a permanent ceasefire.

	Biden has no plans to alter his policy of unequivocal support for Israel's slaughtering Gaza, despite claiming in private conversation he's frustrated with Prime Minister Netanyahu, NBC News reported Monday.
	Sources told NBC Biden had disparaged Netanyahu in private conversation with others, including some campaign donors.
	The sources claim Biden said he wanted to cease fire, but Netanyahu has given him hell.
	In at least three instances, Biden referred to the Israeli leader as an asshole.

	Meanwhile, Some members of his own party, including AOC, has blasted Biden over his support for Israel.
	New York Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez defended pro-Hamas Democrats who oppose Biden's position on Israel and downplayed pro-Palestinian lawmakers and activists calling the president Genocide Joe, The Washington Post has reported.
	In a January 28th interview on NBC News Meets the Press, Ocasio-Cortez said young people in the country have been appalled at the violence in Gaza and what she claimed was the indiscriminate loss of life.
	How can anyone say that's merely a claim?
	It's blatant.
	It's obvious.
	She said pro-Palestinian activists believe it's the president's responsibility to prevent it.
	And the fact that the word genocide is in our discourse reveals a mass inhumanity faced by the Palestinians in Gaza in this case.
	I am with AOC all the way.
	She's got it right.
	Meanwhile, a Democrat mayor was blasted after calling for a ceasefire.
	The Chicago City Council closed out January by narrowly approving a resolution demanding a permanent ceasefire, not in Chicago, but in Gaza.
	With Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson casting the tie-breaking vote, the City Council approved the purely symbolic measure 24-23, making Chicago the largest U.S.
	city to approve a non-binding ceasefire resolution in recent months.

	I think he's on absolutely rock solid ground here.
	The Trump campaign promised to appeal the ruling to the Supreme Court because of the dangerous precedent such a ruling could have for the future institution of the presidency.
	If immunity is not granted to a president, Every future president who leaves office will be immediately indicted by the opposing party without complete immunity.
	A president of the United States would not be able to properly function, said campaign spokesman Chief Chung.
	I think he's got it basically right.
	Terrain Jack Smith's prosecution of Trump for his presidential official acts is unconstitutional under the doctrine of presidential immunity and the separation of powers.
	Prosecuting a president for official acts violates the Constitution and threatens the bedrock of our republic.
	I believe that's correct.
	And just as the other cases are falling apart, I expect these will too.
	There is a report here that appears to be highly biased in its evidence, suggesting that the whole idea of a good guy with a gun is a myth.
	In untangling the myth of defensive gun use, one thing is abundantly clear.
	If safety is a goal, guns are not the answer.
	Well, what the hell is the answer if guns aren't the answer?
	As I've explained many, many times.
	Americans use guns to defend themselves against perp millions of times every year, saving an estimated 200,000 lives.
	Turns out that the actual gun violence death in the United States numbers around, say, 80,000, more than half of whom are suicides.

	Not only that, but as I previously reported, If you take away the gun violence in five democratic states, including Philadelphia, Cleveland, Chicago, turns out the United States ranks 189th out of 194 least gun violent in the world.

	Nevertheless, a Hawaiian Supreme Court has ruled that Hawaiians do not have the right to carry weapons to keep and bear arms in public without a proper permit.
	That is their ruling.
	I suspect this will go all the way to the U.S.
	Supreme Court and we'll not be surprised to have it overturned.
