And welcome back, folks, to Truth vs. News here on January the 21st of the month of 2024.
And we just had a big announcement come across the screen on TV that DeSantis has just suspended his campaign and has endorsed Trump.
So we got all the hot news that's happening as we speak.
And Jim's got more here.
We have Jim and Brian.
We have Iraq and Pakistan protesting Iranian missile strikes on their territory.
This is Iran taking a more aggressive stance.
Iran declared its launch on Pakistan targets.
Jaysh al-Adil, a Sunni Muslim militant group operating across the Iran-Pakistan border, with a history of conducting terrorist attacks in Iran, Islamabad, strongly condemned the Iranian strikes in Pakistan,
Claiming it had killed two children in the process, this violation of Pakistan's sovereignty is completely unacceptable and can have serious consequences, the ministry said.
Pakistan, a nuclear-armed state, has also recalled its ambassador to Iran over the strikes.
Iranian Foreign Minister defended the strikes.
Speaking at the World Economic Forum in Tivos, none of the nationals of the friendly and brotherly country of Pakistan were targeted by Iranian missiles and drones.
The so-called Jashal-Udal Group, which is an Iranian terrorist group, was targeted.
They were also targeting alleged Assad bases in Erbil, part of the northern Kurdistan region, likely in retaliation for Israel killing a senior Iranian military officer in Syria.
Israel is known to have intel ops and assets in the area.
U.S.
officials have acknowledged Iran struck a Mossad facility in 2022, but both the Baghdad-based government and the local Kurdish government said the Monday attack killed civilians.
The Iraqi PM said the Iranian strikes were clear aggression against Iraq.
and canceled plans to meet with Iranian officials in Davos.
Iraq also recalled its ambassador to Iran.
Meanwhile, the Pakistani militants struck by Iran have Israeli ties.
Are we surprised?
The Iranian foreign minister has added that the militant group targeted by Iran with missile strikes in Pakistan is linked to Israel.
The Iranian foreign minister said Tehran respects Pakistan's sovereignty and continues to have good relations with Islamabad, Iranian Minister of Defense reported Abdulian's claim saying Iran respects the sovereignty and territorial integrity of neighboring countries, but will never accept the presence of machinations and conspiracies on its border.
This was a strike against the Sunni militant and separatist organization.
So, Pakistan has launched a retaliatory airstrike on Iran.
Pakistani officials said the strike targeted seven locations used by ethnic militant groups known as the Balochistan Liberation Army and Balochistan Liberation Front.
Pakistani warplanes and drones hit target about 30 miles inside Iran.
Iran condemned the strikes, saying the attack had killed nine foreign nationals, three women, four children, and two men.
Condemning the unbalanced and unacceptable action of Pakistan.
This sounds like the way in which a war begins between Pakistan and Iran.
Earlier, of course, Iran had launched the unprecedented missile strikes in Pakistan.
Nuclear-armed Pakistan strongly condemned the Iranian strikes.
Both sides are calling the other to do more to deal with the militant groups that operate on their border.
The Iranian foreign minister said it expects a friendly and brotherly government of Pakistan to adhere to its commitment to prevent the installation of bases and armed terrorist groups in Pakistan.
Scott, your thoughts?
Well, you know, I did a Press TV interview on this subject and I told the Press TV people, look, this could be a lure to try and get Pakistan and Iran fighting while this Gaza, Israeli, U.S., Hezbollah, Hamas thing goes up.
This is a divide and conquer strategy.
You know, I'm not entirely sure why Iran did this strike at this particular time, although I was told, you know, they're very strategic and intelligent and planning on all this stuff, and I thought, okay, well, but I was very concerned because I thought this, you know, the last thing that you want is Pakistan and Iran going into a major fight like Iraq and Iran fought in the 1980s.
There just seems to be no Value to that now.
Why would it happen now?
This is something that unites the Muslim and Arabic world against the Israeli genocide.
Why are you picking little border issues and terrorist groups that we've known for a long time?
But that being as it was, they've initiated this, you know, this tit-for-tat.
But I think it's, hopefully, I don't see it amplifying and going out of control unless, again, there are, as is India, you know, I wouldn't be surprised if this is an internal false flag planned operation because it just seems too much of a distraction operation.
But I think the main battle scene is to focus on what's happening in the Gaza area, and this will probably smoke itself out.

Yeah, this story is difficult to understand unless you look at it through the lens of the military-industrial complex, which is the only way I can really understand why it would take place.
Look, we've been warned about the military-industrial complex.
We know that they'll start wars.
We know the global banking cartel will start wars and continue wars.
What it indicates to me, if you really boil it down and take a look at the big picture, is that we're dealing with a potential economic collapse that's being delayed by firing off more wars everywhere that you possibly can to keep the military-industrial complex continue to be propped up while inflation continues to rise and military surpluses continue to wane.
It seems to me that under the hood of all of it is a failure of leadership And a failure to control the situation.
Look, I trust the military-industrial complex about as much as I trust Netanyahu.
They're hungry.
They have an appetite that needs to be fed, and they're willing to kill people and start wars to feed that appetite.
Talk about evil!
That's a lot of evil that takes place in the military-industrial complex, and it wouldn't be a surprise if it's the same clannish warmongers that have been selling all these weapons and financing all these wars for centuries that's behind this particular attack.

The Sands campaign has already begun moving out of New Hampshire to South Carolina, but he won't even be campaigning in South Carolina.
The governor is expected to appear at three events, but was advised never back down on January 19th.
Well, let's see those two town halls.

Chris Christie has an epic moment trashing the establishment darling Nikki Haley.
She's not up to this.
Christie realized he doesn't stand a chance of winning and threw in the towel, but a bigger story came out of his withdrawal announcement caught on mic obliterating GOP broad Nikki Haley.
Not realizing his mic was still on, Christie, discussing the remaining candidates, pointed out how having spent $68 million on TV alone, Nikki Haley is going to get smoked.
He was talking to former New Hampshire Republican Chairman Christy Backer, Wayne McDonald.

We know we're right, but they don't want to hear it.
We couldn't have been any clearer.

But she's going to get smoked.
You and I both know she's not up to this.
Meanwhile, Trump has declared Nikki Haley is not going to be chosen as VP.
Here's polling in relation to New Hampshire.
Trump 51.8, Haley 35.4, DeSantis 6.4, with DeSantis pulling out.
Most of that, I expect, is going to go to Trump.
So it'll probably wind up more like 60-40.
While former South Carolina Governor Haley claims she's not going to be anyone's vice president, saying that was off the table, former Trump came out and agreed.
She's okay, but she's not presidential timber.
When I say that, it probably means she's not going to be chosen as the VP.
When you say certain things, it sort of takes them out of playwright.
I can't say.
She's not of the timber to be the vice president and say, ladies and gentlemen, I'm proud to announce that I picked.

Her numbers may go way down in New Hampshire as a consequence.

So, Nikki Haley is done, but here's my prediction, Don.
Nikki Haley and Gavin Newsom are going to be the Democrat replacements, and I think they are going to assassinate Joe Biden and claim it was done by a Trump supporter, or a Russian supporter, or both, and may even try and get out Zelensky at the same time, but I think they are going to engage in an assassination operation to martyr Biden,
To try and create a Martin Luther King sort of scenario or a Sandy Hook scenario where they can try and advance restrictive gun legislation, try and advance martial law operations without declaring martial law.
So they're going to do and act and behave as if it's martial law without actually technically doing it.
So, I predict the Democrats, Nikki Haley, Gavin Newsom, are going to form this relationship, because she has been picked by the Zionists and the Democrats to try and undermine Trump.
DeSantis, I don't have a lot of faith in at all anymore, especially since he threw this, if you criticize Israel, somehow you're a bigot and an anti-Semitic.

You are an American who is questioning the genocidal tendencies of a schizophrenic lunatic country regime and prime minister named Netanyahu.
And Trump better be wise of the same thing.
People are not the same as they were four years ago.
They're different, and they're not voting for Trump because they like him.

He was very articulate, lively.
I enjoyed it, which isn't the same as endorsing him to be a candidate for president or vice.

The more he does that, the better.
And he has to abandon the Jewish, Ashkenazi, Zionist, Chabad Lubavitch mafia.
That has been in his life like a frickin' cancer.
He has to pluck that out and get back to putting his words where his mouth is.
You're going to make America great again.
That means you pull out the toxicity of Israel and you stop looking at every foreign policy through the prism of Israel.
If you do that, you will find all of these people and cultures like the American people.

And the problem in politics is that in politics, in order to get into a position where you can get the office where you have power and leadership and control, You have to be able to work with one side and not the other, which is almost a naturally compromising position.
Now, there have been certain politicians who have been able to dodge the character bullet.
We can think about John F. Kennedy with Marilyn Monroe.
Because they were able to convince people that they weren't being controlled.
Obviously, we saw the regicide that happened as a result of John F. Kennedy's power positions that ended up getting him killed.
But these days, I feel like the only language that the American people are hearing is a language of power.
And I wish that wasn't the case.
I wish what the American people would realize is that we are Take a look at what we're teaching our children about lesbianism and homosexuality and transgenderism.
Take a look at what we're teaching our children about lesbianism and homosexuality and transgenderism.
Take a look at what we're teaching our people about the low need for character.
You can steal from the local Walgreens and not be prosecuted.

I would prefer to see a politician of a religious nature.

They don't respond with anything resembling decent constitutional care or humility.
They are all about power.
