Welcome to episode 42, believe it or not, of Gary King's Inconvenient Truths, where Gary presents video clips and stories I don't know are coming for me to address.
And it's just proven to be very popular.
Every now and then I hit a subject that just sets off a firestorm among some of our viewers, but that's okay.
We're all entitled to have our own opinion.
Though I must observe, not all opinions are of equal worth.
Gary.
I'm with you.

Well, you were just talking about that.
I've got a little quick screenshot.
of um your flat earth with those guys but we don't dwell on it too long but 435 comments and they were about um two-thirds positive for you and a third um negative you know negative and then then on one five three news there were um like all kinds of comments it was 50 50 there thumbs up thumbs down so anyway Would you like to talk about that?
Yeah, I'll say a few words about it.
I think there are just an awful lot of Americans out there who have never studied physics or astronomy.
They're basing this on their subjective opinion.
They go outside.
It doesn't feel as though Earth is moving.
They don't feel a breeze.
They think therefore it cannot be rotating on its axis at the equator at a thousand miles an hour.
But it is, and there are very simple elementary bloops like the Foucault pendulum.
A free-floating pendulum just goes back and forth, and in relation to a circular plate below, the circular plate moves in relation to the pendulum because it's reflecting the rotation of Earth on its axis.
This is so simple.
Notice, the very first question I asked About the dimensions of the flat Earth, the width, the breadth, and the depth, I got no answer.
Instead, I got a blizzard of responses.
Must have made 32 different points, all the way to black holes and relativity theory, which have nothing to do with non-responsive.
Nor do we have any account of how the flat Earth is suspended in space, what accounts for it.
They don't want to acknowledge gravity because, in my opinion, gravity makes a flat Earth physically impossible.
Because everything with mass attracts everything else with mass, it would mean you cannot have a flat Earth.
It would have to assume the role, roughly, of a globe.
But it is logically possible to assume Earth is flat if you're willing to make sufficiently drastic alterations in your other belief, just as if you were on board a moving train and wanted to maintain that you are the motionless center of the universe, then instead of the train traveling by at 80 miles an hour, you got all the environment, Earth, traveling by at 80 miles an hour.
And think of all the other complications that would make.
Let me add, in one of the most irresponsible arguments they make, in our account for Eratosthenes' argument about shadows at the same time of day, the sun is so far away If Earth were flat, the shadows would all be parallel.
It's like on the moon landing.
The sun is so far away that all shadows on the moon would be parallel.
They'd never intersect.
But they are intersecting because there are multiple sources of light, not merely the sun.
So in order to accommodate this very simple proof, before the birth of Christ, They have to shrink the size of the sun and bring it up so close that, in fact, if the Earth were actually in that proximity to the sun, it would be crisp.
It would turn into ash.
So, Gary, I'm losing my patience with some of these arguments, which involve manufacturing facts, and they're incapable, actually, of dealing with these issues.
Honestly, I was particularly affronted.
When we had a guy who I believe, at least in relation to this presentation, was completely and utterly sincere going through a surveyor's book that's been around for 45 years and explained how surveyors, in order to ensure that buildings and other structures don't collapse, have to take into account the curvature of Earth, Explain the difference between being level and being horizontal.
It was a splendid presentation, and they attacked him as a liar based on purported other issues having nothing to do with it.
Well, there's several aspects of that, Gary, which is why I spent A bit of time on it, more than some would have preferred.
In order to lie, you've got to know what you're saying is false, and you go ahead and assert it anyway as though it were true in order to deceive or mislead an audience.
I detected no sign whatsoever of any attempt to deceive or mislead the audience by the speaker.
I think they complained about it so massively because it just throws their arguments based on optical phenomena into a cocked hat.
I'd also observe.
Even if the guy had on other occasions lied, that wouldn't show he was lying in this instance.
So what you'd have to do is deal with his arguments, which they declined to do by an ad hominem attack seeking to discredit him on other grounds.
So Gary, I felt that I was dealing with some bullshit artists who were doing their best to maintain an indefensible theory.
And while I agree that the video I used about the seasons was too elementary, if I ever were to do this again I'd look for a more sophisticated
But the fact is, flat Earth cannot accommodate for the difference between day and night, sunrise or sunset, rotation of the Moon around the Earth, or the rotation of Earth around the Sun, which accounts for the seasons, where it's not perfectly circular, it's elliptical, it has the shape of an egg, where the Sun is closest at the bottom of the egg, and because the Earth is closer to the Sun, we have summer,
And when it's furthest away, we have winter, and it's all readily explicable, and it's not a function of the tilt of Earth per se, but the tilt of Earth makes a difference to how the seasons are experienced, whether you're in one hemisphere or another.
So, Gary?
I was very disturbed by what I went through.
Because of my interest in having all signs presented, I was willing to do it.
But after their first interruption, when I was describing how historically one of the pre-Socratic philosophers, Thales, had declared Earth to be a disc floating on water, Not that I was attributing that to them, but they immediately interrupted.
I was hit with this barrage of comments.
It draws attention to the fact they can't account for how Earth is suspended in space.
And in the end, that may be the greatest defect in the whole flat Earth theory.

My thoughts, wait let me just say this real quick.
What I would really like to see, if you remember in elementary school they had this big model and you would crank it.
And all the moons would spin around in circles and all that and you could actually see the shadows and why it would be dark here and all that.
I want to see the one that you crank of flat earth and I want to see it go around and I want to see it cause you know shadows over here, seasons over here.
I'd like to see that.
Otherwise there's just so much Here, there, latitude, longitude.
I can't really focus like that.
Gary, embrace flat Earth.
You have to reject.
Modern physics and astronomy, you have to reject them wholesale.
Not only that, but when you talked about the Moon and so forth, the lunar eclipse, where Earth is in between the Sun and the Moon, and we see this virtually every month.
We see the partial eclipse and so forth, and the shape is a curved globe projection of a shadow.
It's not flat.
Everyone ought to contemplate that point.
I mean, it's about as elementary as you can get.

If you Google climate change, you will, at the top of your search, you will get all kinds of UN resources.
We started this partnership when we were shocked to see that when we Googled climate change, we were getting... incredibly we were getting... incredibly
distorted information right at the top.
So we're becoming much more proactive.
You know, we own the science.
You know, we own the science.
and we think that the world should know it.
And the platforms themselves also do.
But again, it's a huge, huge challenge that I think all sectors of society need to be very active in.

Well, what she really means is we own the scientists, the climate change scientists, who are supporting an absurd point of view.
You can go back over 600 billion years of Earth history, and there's no correlation between the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere and the temperature of Earth.

And it turns out we had a report like 10 years ago from a CIA guy, and I believe he was on John B. Wells, explaining that there was going to be an effort to convince the world Earth is flat.
And John B. just laughed out loud.
He thought that was absurd.

All this is entirely consistent with predictions and repeated warnings.
The only surprise is the speed of the change.

The air is unbreathable, the heat is unbearable, and the level of fossil fuel profits and climate inaction is unacceptable.

Lads, this is very worrying indeed.
It's happening all over the place.
And it has to stop.
I think we're reaching a serious tipping point now with all this climate change.
And we have to start making serious changes soon.
Now, I'm glad to say that weather reports on the telly are starting to use red for the temperatures more often.
And they used to use a lot of green, you know.
It's helping, I think, to communicate the severity of the situation to the public.
Because, I think in people's minds, Green means go.
Green could mean go on holiday, you know.
But red, red means stop.
Stop!
All right, global boiling the new sprays.
Well, Gary, we all know the saying, the bigger the liar, the further you go in politics.
Even the Secretary General of the United Nations, this is just outrageous.
The propaganda campaign is beyond belief.
But this is a way they're trying to take all of our assets, all of our property, make you subscribe to a one-world government that's going to be all-encompassing after they murder The overwhelming majority of the Earth's population.
This is not a theory.
This is a fact.
It's taking place before our very eyes.
The COVID, the pandemic, but the deadly vax is one aspect of it.
Another is the mythical climate change, a total hoax, being implemented at the highest levels of government, right up to the Secretary General of the UN.
I agree with that suggestion.

A strange new trend takes over TikTok, a woman fakes her own disappearance, and a man buys his wife a congratulatory gift for appearing in her first pornographic movie.
Welcome to the Weekly Roundup, where we cover the most diabolical yet hilarious news of the week.
Our top story today, Jussie Smollett is making a comeback and apparently now identifies as a woman.
That's right, a 25 year old woman named Carly Russell is being accused of faking her own disappearance after going missing for 48 hours.
Alright, so here's a quick breakdown of the story.
Carly left work on July 13th, and after picking up dinner and snacks from Target, placed a call to 911, claiming she saw a toddler wandering around the side of the highway in his diaper.
When police arrived three minutes later, they found Carly's car, her wig, and her phone, but no Carly.
After a 48-hour nationwide search, the unexpected happened.
Carly returned home on foot, completely unharmed.
She later recounted her harrowing tale to investigators, where she claimed she was kidnapped by a white man with red hair and a bald spot.
The next thing she remembers is being in the trailer of an 18-wheeler.
She said there was also a female and a crying baby present.
Russell told detectives that at one point she was able to escape the 18-wheeler, but was captured again and placed in a car.
They then took her to a house, stripped her naked, and took pictures of her.
She told police she then went to sleep, and when she woke up, the woman fed her cheese and crackers and played with her hair.
Finally, she was put back into a vehicle, where she once again escaped through the woods, That just happened to lead her right back to her family home.
Meh.
If it was a movie, I'd give it 17% on the tomato meter.
But this interview with her parents, on the other hand, deserves an Academy Award.
What did you do when you saw her?
We tried to hug her as best we could, but I had to stand back because she was not in a good state.
So we had to stand back and let medical professionals work with her.
But It's okay.
It's okay.
Now here's where this saga gets real hilarious.
In the days since her return, the police have been unable to corroborate the details of her story.
Not only were there no other sightings reported of the missing child, but other details in her story are a little dodgy as well.
Like the fact that Carly's wig and phone were found in her car when she went missing, But the snacks she purchased at Target went missing with her.
Hey, man, getting abducted is a long and arduous journey that requires a lot of energy.
She also had a hundred and sixty dollars tucked into her sock when she went missing.
And, uh, just one other small detail.
She was Googling abductions when she got abducted.
That's right, when investigators searched Carly's phone they found that shortly before she went missing she was googling the movie Taken, a classic abduction film.
She also googled how to pay for an Amber Alert and how to take money from a cash register without getting caught.
Well Carly, the first rule of stealing without getting caught is don't google how to steal without getting caught.
The second rule of stealing without getting caught ...is don't draw attention to yourself by causing a nationwide search for you in an imaginary toddler.
I should teach a life lesson workshop.

I think the highest probability she was shacking up with a boyfriend for 48 hours and won a cover story.
But this is so wonderful.
She is sensational.

Now malaria is, of course, transmitted by mosquitoes.

Since 2021, UK-based biotech company Oxitec has released millions of genetically modified male Aedes aegypti mosquitoes in the Florida Keys.
And the EPA has approved the release of 2.4 billion more in Monroe County and California under an experimental use permit.
Officials are now reporting five confirmed cases of locally acquired malaria in Florida and Texas.
Concerns are growing as this marks the first time we're seeing local transmission in the U.S.
in two decades.
The CDC is now warning doctors and public health officials to be on the lookout for more cases.
There's no reason only poor people should have the experience.

It may come as a big surprise that if you visit certain countries and head to the snack aisle to grab a pack, you won't be able to find them.
The reason some countries do not allow Ritz crackers to be sold has to do with the ingredients list and how they are made.
The problematic ingredient is partially hydrogenated cottonseed oil.
It is a type of trans fat that is not allowed in food products in many European countries, including Austria, Denmark.

I got my vaccine because I wanted to help protect people and I wanted life to go back to normal.
And now I'm injured.
And then after I was sick.
I was told I don't know what to do.
My doctors.
My physician told me the vaccine couldn't do this to me and that I was healthy.
My doctor said the second jab could kill me.
But he later tried to blame something else.
My doctor said that my symptoms could not have come from the vaccine.
My doctor doesn't know what to do.
My doctor said it's kind of like we're all guinea pigs because this is all so new.
We don't really know how to deal with these Reactions that we're seeing.
I've been told not to share my story because it scares people.
I have been told that I should have known better than to get the vaccine or I told you not to get the vaccine.
My friends tell me I got mine and I'm just fine.
I've had many people tell me that my injury is not from the vaccine.

All right, let's talk about modern warfare for just a little bit.
About 20 minutes.
When economies collapse, political regimes fail.
When political regimes fail, they start wars to try and hold on to power.
Economies all over the world are failing right now because fiat currencies have been over-printed, over-borrowed, and inflated.
The USA has been falling deeper into debt every year since probably World War I, and that debt is now at a breaking point.
We've gone a long time without a major world war because we have nukes now and war is no longer a good idea, but economic and political conditions are so badly deteriorated that war may no longer be avoidable.
The Ukraine war looks like an old-fashioned war with soldiers, tanks, planes, conventional weapons just blasting away at each other.
There's a lot of talk about how the Ukraine conflict could explode into world war with nukes.
I would argue that World War III started well before the Ukraine conflict.
With the nukes, the collapsing economies, the technological advancements, war now has a completely different look and feel.
