Need to Know News (20 April 2023) with Carl Herman
| Copy link to current segment

Time Text
This is Jim Fetzer, Mass in Wisconsin, once again delighted to be joined by Carl Herman in San Ramon, California.
Ryan Davidson is catching up on his homework.
He was gracious enough to come out here to assist me under emergency circumstances, and he's now got to make up for it.
Paying the piper.
U.S.
to sell Taiwan 400 Boeing-made Harpoon anti-ship missiles worth $1.7 billion.
Taipei has previously purchased these, but the new deal is for a ground-launched mobile version of the anti-ship missile, depending on an asset contract on April 7th, but wouldn't say if the deal was for Taiwan.
The Harpoon deal has been cited by Congress bar what they call a 19 billion backlog in arms sales to Taiwan.
Weapon purchases typically take years to fulfill.
Washington has always sold weapons to Taiwan, but in recent years, arms sales have ramped up.
News of the Harpoon comes as tensions between the U.S.
and China are soaring over Taiwan.
Taiwanese media reported over 200 U.S.
troops are now in Taiwan to help train the island's armed forces.
Meanwhile, China bans imports and exports involving Raytheon and Lockheed, crippling U.S.
defense industry.
This is fascinating.
How dumb can it be to have your military equipment depended on a source with which you may come to conflict?
I mean, the stupidity of American planning here is unbelievable.
China will now enforce its Feb.
16 ban on Chinese enterprises from conducting import and export activities with U.S.
companies including Raytheon and Lockheed Martin.
Of course, it includes microchips from Taiwan.
U.S.
considers Taiwan to be independent, but yet we claim to have adopted a one-China policy.
If Raytheon and Lockheed Martin cannot engage in import exports from China and the ban on microchips is enforced, the two most important players in U.S.
defense manufacturing are immediately crippled.
Indeed, U.S.
weapons sales to Taiwan will not be taking place because the missiles and such Taiwan wants to buy cannot be shipped to Taiwan.
What simile!
China just put a total halt to U.S.
defense sales to Taiwan and crippled the U.S.
defense manufacturing industry by cutting off microchips.
Raytheon and Lockheed Martin face serious risk in their rare earth supplies which are also affected by the sanctions according to Wei Chenhao an independent industry analyst Wu told global times that Lockheed Martin now on the banned entity list may have to source its rare earth supply from elsewhere
Given China's dominant position in global rare earth supply, substitutes may not be found in time.
This means production of the F-35 jet and other high-tech weapons systems may face a temporary slowdown or even suspension.
Were China to expand the range of its ban to other countries that contain Chinese-made rare-earth elements, the depth and scope of the bans will be deeper and wider, and the U.S.
will be further up a creek without a paddle.
Carl, your thoughts?
Or crazy.
So with the Harpoons, those are anti-ship missiles and that price has been bumped up quite a bit from the last time that I checked those prices of about a million dollars each.
Now they're up to four million dollars each and 400 of them, one can stop a ship and multiple can sink a ship.
So ongoingly we're at this wars and rumors of wars and the idea that the U.S.
Yes, yes, indeed it is, Carl.
dependent upon China for imports is just crazy stupid, but having an ongoing lying, looting, illegal, rogue state American empire masquerading as a limited government underneath the Constitution and underneath inalienable rights is also just as stupid. rogue state American empire masquerading as a limited government underneath Yes, yes, indeed it is, Carl.
Indeed it is.
Meanwhile, legal experts suggest that Fox Dominion settlement may come back to bite the liberal media hard. - Thank you.
Fox agrees.
The $787.5 million settlement for claiming Dominion machines were used to steal the election, which is outrageous because Dominion voting machines were used to steal the election.
Fox News agreed, probably a quarter of Fox News reported gross earnings, to settle a $1.6 billion defamation lawsuit.
Looks like they cut it in half.
Leftists, Democrat operatives, and others in the liberal media celebrated, rejoiced.
Suggesting a well-deserved penalty for asking sensitive questions and entertaining a narrative that ultimately collapsed under scrutiny while, really, it was never subjected to scrutiny.
So far as I can see, Fox didn't even try to prove, even though there was massive evidence, how the machines had been used to steal the election.
Pathetic.
According to legal experts, liberals' jubilation today may come back to haunt them.
Jack Tapper, who refused to apologize for advancing a false narrative for years when it ultimately crumbled, meaning he stood by the claim, giggled when reading the script about Fox News.
Tapper said, I'm sorry.
This is going to be difficult to say with a straight face.
Those signing Tapper's paycheck may soon find it difficult to smile themselves.
Mike Davis, founder of the Article 3 Project, former Chief Counsel to Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley, indicated the Dominion lawsuit has set a new standard.
Whereby the New York Post, for example, could be justified in filing a billion-dollar defamation lawsuit against news outlets that reported the claim it ran a Russian disinformation campaign.
CNN, like Politico and other liberal outlets, infamously downplayed the Hunter Biden laptop story when the New York Post first broke it in October 2020.
The Blade's previously reported that after the Post published a story revealing some of Hunter's many ethical failures, then-CNN host Brian Stelter said, There's a lot about this story that does not add up.
And I mean, for all we know, these emails were made up.
Maybe some are real and some are fake.
We don't know.
But we do know this is a classic example of the right-wing media machine.
We are not talking about fully reliable sources here, Stelder said, referring to the Post story, stressing it was a manufactured scandal.
CNN Business elevated its smears against the Post in an article entitled The Anatomy of the New York Post, Dubious Hunter Biden Story.
In one of many other instances where the outlet denigrated the post and served to advance a false narrative about the Hunter Biden laptop, Tabler confessed disgust in an October segment, claiming the right wing is going crazy with all sorts of allegations about Biden and his family. claiming the right wing is going crazy with all sorts Too disgusting to even repeat here, even though they all turn out to be true.
The New York Post was not the only target of CNN's possibly actionable smears.
CNN also hounded the company repairman who first blew the whistle.
John Paul McIsaac, owner of the Delaware Computer Shop, filed a lawsuit against CNN last year, accusing it of broadcasting a false and defamatory story intimating that McIsaac had committed an infamous crime.
Treason by working with the Russians to commit a crime against the United States of America by attempting to undermine American democracy in the 2020 presidential election.
What a lark.
Matt McCowick, Chairman of Travis County GOP, President of Potomac Strategy Group, appeared to agree the consequences of the Dominion lawsuit will be sweeping, noting in the Washington Examiner the case has significant implications for the First Amendment.
While it appears to be a loaded weapon, bait on the heart of one cable news network, its true target is our treasured independent and free press.
He suggested the claims about Dominion, Fox raised, were, no question, newsworthy.
A sitting president legal claims in a hotly contested presidential election are newsworthy.
Bullsnot.
And if professionals at news outlets cannot cover issues in good faith when raised by such prominent officials in the middle of a contested election, the media will be dead.
Mike Davis, MACOAC, indicated liberals and liberal outlets have long gone away with meddling information claims that turned out to be untrue, if not outright malicious.
But If Fox is found liable under this standard of anyone at the company having doubts, no media outlet will ever be safe.
It's a gift to every green energy company lobbying for corrupt funding, every tech company censoring accounts, every woke corporate actor engaging in preposterous diversity, equity, and inclusion policies That will use it to silence investigative journalists' criticism and debate, he added.
Former Attorney General William Barr stressed that liberal outlets, blinded by resentment at Fox's success as an alternative media voice, have parroted Dominion's spin at their peril.
The theory advanced by Dominion is profoundly dangerous to the media industry as a whole.
Memories are very short.
Imagination is very limited.
If the left thinks only Fox would be vulnerable to lawsuits in a world where defamation liability could be incurred for simply reporting allegations made by others,
Barside the liberal media false claim of Russian collusion and the lurid allegations advanced on networks as CNN by Michael Avenatti during the Senate confirmation of Brett Kavanaugh, among instances where outlets exposed themselves to the reasoning behind this week's defamation suit settlement.
After reiterating Fox was well within its rights to have reported on the Dominion story, Barr concluded, The left should think twice about cheering for Dominion in this case.
While the left has more artillery, it also has more targets for defamation cases, as the left-wing media outlets far outnumber conservative ones.
An attorney for Dominion, a company given an $80 million valuation by a private equity group in 2018, addressed mainstream reporters after the settlement, thanking them for being with us on this journey.
We appreciate what you've done to help us.
Mike Davis tweets.
Dominion Attorney thanks media for being its lapdog in campaign to destroy conservative media and First Amendment.
How embarrassing for the media to be thanked for their help in a lawsuit against a media organization.
The left-wing media hates Fox more than they care about truth, justice, the American way.
Check this out.
One last thank you, which is really to all of you for being with us on this journey.
We appreciate what you've done to help us and to help expose what we were able to discover over the course of this process.
And so thank you, and we'll see you at the next one.
One last thing.
See you at the next one indeed, Carl.
Your thoughts?
Well, Dominion did steal the election, and I'll put the documentation in the show notes here at BitChute.
And there isn't any other thing to say than our legal process is supposed to be that a jury is going to determine the facts of a case and that a judge is going to run a fair court of play for those facts to be presented to the jury for their consideration.
Now, Fox is dirty.
They were one of the leaders to be able to pimp these illegal wars, and they have been silent about these facts that would prove and demonstrate election fraud.
Now, corporate media, so this can be flipped the other way upon victory.
This can be a precedent And corporate media can be sued into oblivion.
If you take a look at the long history for decades, or even being accomplices after the fact, for the murder of JFK, RFK and MLK, you could do that one.
You could do COVID.
You could do the Wars of Aggression.
You could do the Bankster Looting.
Jim, you could even sue them from your case, because I'm sure that we could find tremendous examples of their coverage that an independent jury member would have to conclude That is not objective reporting.
That's damaging lies.
So corporate media, it is just Orwellian.
It is satanic to invert the facts the way that they do.
They only present narratives.
And that's why we're here at Need to Know News, is to be able to distinguish the essential facts from mine sacks of spin.
You got it right, Carl.
Very nice.
Meanwhile, This is from a left-wing perspective.
Reader-supported news.
Dominion was never going to save democracy from Fox News by Peter Mass at the intercept.
Lawyers are probably saying Dominion talked to reporters outside the Justice Center following the settlement.
With a $787.5 million settlement for its election lies begging the question, since in fact they were true, Fox has avoided the legal and moral punishment of a court verdict.
Will private equity save American democracy?
That question, which has lurked behind the defamation lawsuit Dominion filed against Fox, was answered today in an unsurprising fashion.
No.
Fox and Dominion reached a 787.5 mil settlement moments before opening arguments were set to begin.
A jury had been selected.
Everyone was preparing for what looked like a six-week trial that would scrutinize Fox broadcasting of false conspiracy theories that Dominion machines stole votes from then-President Trump in 2020.
Unfortunately, they weren't false at all.
Dominion was seeking $1.6 billion.
The settlement is not a total shocker.
Just days ago, there was a flurry of speculation.
Fox wanted to settle with a goal of avoiding a court verdict, and it had lied with malice when it aired false accusations from its hosting guests like Sidney Powell and Rudy Giuliani that Dominion had tried to rig the election.
Except that Sidney and Rudy were speaking from the heart with sincerity in the belief could not possibly have been malice.
The settlement is unlikely to be welcomed by Fox critics, who believe a guilty verdict would serve a moral blow to the network's reputation.
The idea was Fox, on the robe, should not be allowed to slip away by writing a settlement check and mumbling an insincere apology.
As a headline from the New Republic blab, among the settlement rumors, don't settle, Dominion, drag Fox across the coals.
It argued, with a guilty verdict, we'll be able to say, with a certainty we can't quite claim now, that Fox News lies.
But Dominion does not exist to serve the public interest or liberal magazine.
It's a for-profit company owned by Staple Street Capital, a small private equity firm.
Staple Street has fewer than 50 employees, claims 900 mil of assets, a modest amount in industry, founded in 2009 by others who worked at Carlyle Group and Sebra's Capital, giants in private equity.
They graduated from Harvard Business, have no record of political donations or political activity.
They are business people, not pro-democracy agitators.
The size of the settlement represents a windfall on Staple Street's investment in Dominion.
Its controlling stake cost just $38.3 million in 2018.
While Dominion Suite attracted an enormous amount of attention, it's actually not a large company.
The market for vote counting services is limited.
Its expected revenues in 2022 were just $98 million.
While Dominion and Staple Street have not explained why they agreed to settle, the rationale is pretty clear.
Their case was strong, but it wasn't certain a jury would deliver as much as they were seeking.
Was not certain how quickly they might see any award, as Fox would likely appeal.
The owners of Stable Street, along with John Poulos, Dominion's chief exec with a 12% stake in the firm, were unlikely to have been scrapped for cash before the settlement, but now the company will reap an immediate and significant bounty.
In its discovery efforts, Fox unearthed a text message from a former Staple Street employee to a current exec noting.
Would be pretty unreal if you guys, like, 20-time your Dominion investment with these lawsuits.
Speaking to reporters after the settlement, a lawyer for Dominion, Justin Nelson, said, "The truth matters.
Lies have consequences.
Ironic, since Fox was speaking the truth and Dominion is lying." A statement from Fox said, "We acknowledge the court's ruling, finding certain claims about Dominion to be false." It's not uncommon for a company to turn its back on the public good to enrich its owners, known as maximizing shareholder value.
That's essentially what happened when Twitter decided to sell the company to Elon Musk for $44 billion.
The board lunged at the lucrative transaction.
Even though it was widely predicted Musk would diminish the usefulness of the social media site, which has indeed happened, where Musk recently admitted it's now worth half as much as he paid for it, but he's done something terrific for the public good.
He's made it more of a bastion of public speech, free speech.
The discovery that preceded the trial's opening was a nightmare for Fox, exposing in detail levels of deceit by hosts and executives as they pumped out the conspiracy theory.
But those disclosed appeared to have zero impact on the network's ratings, which have remained strong.
Well, Fox's reputation is at rock bottom with its critics.
Its viewers have remained loyal, and it's not clear that a jury verdict would have influenced them any more than the bounty of evidence that emerged in Discovery.
It's pretty certain, however, that a settlement will have even less sway.
I hope for writing on the trial reflecting the exasperated state of the long time and so far unsuccessful effort to counteract deceptive and racist programming that when Fox Hallmark is founding in 1996 by Rupert Murdoch.
I deny, by the way, that Fox has deceptive and racist programming.
I watch a lot of Fox.
I don't see that.
His oldest son Lucan, both of whom with Rupert Murdoch were deposed and expected to testify, despite years of criticism from journalists and politicians.
Senator Elizabeth Warren, for example, memorably described Fox as a hate-for-profit racket.
Which is just ridiculous.
The network has frostwork.
While most advertisers have fled, Fox remained profitable.
The bulk of its income is exorbitant payments from cable and satellite providers.
Despite several years of attempt to pressure those companies, there's been little success, though a renewed push is underway.
Cable and satellite providers have to stop paying Fox the carrying fees that are really Fox bread and butter.
Far more than had revenue.
If the jury finds against Fox, pressure must mount for that to end as well.
These hopes, widely held among Fox detractors, constitute the kind of magical thinking that circled around earlier efforts to undo the lies and violence of the Trump era Which is really the lies and violence of the Democrat era, the Pelosi era, including January 6th and all the staging that went with it.
Just as investigation by special counsel Mueller failed to deliver a knockout blow, the now settled lawsuit by Dominion is unlikely to alter the nature of Fox as the network has escaped the legal, moral, and financial punishment of a jury verdict.
We probably shouldn't be surprised.
One terrible limb of American capitalism was always unlikely to save us from another.
Meanwhile, mind control isn't hard to understand.
If you do what the TV says, the TV is controlling your mind, and you're not.
Two billion people just pushed an experimental medicine under their skin, which was never healthy, simply because the TV told them to.
That's mind control.
Carl, your thoughts?
It is mind control.
And that's the most important thing to understand is that human beings were a lot smarter than bunny rabbits and cockroaches, but we're not that bright.
And in an environment where we're treated as stupid, We can be manipulated if corporate media has enough of a grip of a single type of message, and that's what they do.
So the Intercept and the media on the left, they all just pretend this is the same virtue signaling that you get from the political leaders that the U.S.
is good and honest and a bastion of democracy and freedom, a leader in the world, and that The evil Republicans have been taken over by the MAGA Trumpists, so they have to create a narrative that eliminates Trump as a threat.
And we're seeing how they would do it, and if they have the power to do it, oh yeah.
Yeah, it would work.
So what they're going to say is that Trump is only a thing because of these fake talking points from Fox News, and Fox News has been shown as a proven liar.
The 2020 election result has now been put to bed definitively.
And then what they're going to do is they're going to either rebrand Fox News somehow, or they could just go ahead and destroy them.
They could just knock them out and then resurrect something so that you have this fake left-right, uh, the Empire has a left hand, the Empire has a right hand, but it's one empirical body.
And, or the New Republic.
Well, that's funny.
You know, I don't read what they write.
But I do know that they were a pimp of COVID.
So if you want to talk about the lies, then certainly they are a participant.
And I think that it's far more likely a jury would find the New Republic and all those media outlets who pimp those crimes against humanity as being guilty as co-conspirators.
And I'll put the documentation at the bottom.
Very nice, Carl.
Very nice.
Meanwhile, What is a woman?
Seems like a pretty straightforward question.
GLB Lawmaker stomps Education Secretary with a simple question about Title IX.
Education Secretary Miguel Cardona refused to define a woman Tuesday under oath at a congressional hearing.
A House Appropriations Subcommittee hearing.
Representative Andrew Clyde of Georgia highlighted that Cardona's job includes enforcing Title IX, which prohibits discrimination, including on the basis of sex, in education programs that receive federal funding.
But the Biden admin is seeking to alter Title IX to punish states that protect the integrity of women's sports by prohibiting transgender athletes from competing in women's sports.
In other words, they want to punish states that would enforce the law as it's represented by Title IX.
How outrageous is that?
Since Title IX prohibits discrimination between male and female to ensure each get appropriate funding.
I think it's important the country see that the government understands the difference, Clyde began.
Then he asked, can you please tell me, or can you please define for me, what is a woman?
Cardona refused to answer the question.
Our focus at the department is to provide equal access to students, including students who are LGBTQ, access free from discrimination.
So what's the definition of a woman, Clyde Shotback?
You haven't given me that.
You haven't answered my question.
According to Cardona, the issue of what differentiates a woman from someone who's not a woman is secondary to his job.
Yet he praised Clyde for rightly establishing the importance of Title IX.
The two then went back and forth over whether, in Clyde's words, A biological male who self-identifies as a woman should be allowed to compete in women's sports.
And whether allowing such students to enter women's private spaces, such as bathrooms and locker rooms, ensures the safety of female students.
But Cardona repeatedly dodged the question.
Instead, he said the perspective of all students should be taken into account when decisions are made around facilities.
He never provided a definition of a woman.
The Biden admin is reposing a chain Title IX that would not allow schools to receive federal funding if they segregate sports based on biological sex, which was always the intention.
Under the proposed regulation, schools would not be permitted to adopt or apply a one-size-fits-all policy that categorically bans transgender students from participating on teams consistent with their gender identity.
Ironically, the proposed rule ignores how it discriminates against female athletes by forcing them to compete against biological males, a nearly impossible task, even for the world's best female athletes.
Carl, your thoughts?
Well, what we have is a discrimination and an attack on women by men pretending to be women.
If you talk about understanding that we want to have fair playing fields for women in sports, that has been, you know, an important history of Title IX, then part of what you do in sports is you have definitions to know what is what.
And one of the key definitions you have to start with is, what is a woman?
Now, it's not difficult.
You can just take a look at the biological attributes.
And for Cardona?
So for him refusing to answer, he is serving the Biden administration, which is pushing this false trans agenda, as if you can go across a gender.
Just by taking actions upon your own, and so he's pushing the trans agenda.
The federal funding is also a big deal to understand how the United States works.
The federal government, our opponents, want to control everything.
And one of the ways that they do that is by getting federal funding involved.
And then they can go ahead and ransom that funding.
In order to force the states to comply now, it's not really force because again, we've talked about this rising up to the level of a state legislator and a state governor.
You're going to be controlled at that level too.
But all we're seeing again, is this ridiculous agenda to destroy the gains that women have made and to have us all be confused have the children be.
Yes, yes, yes, yes.
and for the children to be lobbied to join those, I don't even know, medically mutilated and psychologically destroyed camp.
That's what they want.
Yes, yes, yes, yes.
Meanwhile, a rather stunning event took place in Congress here.
Eric Stilwell was testifying before Congress.
Catch this.
Our rhetoric and to denounce anti-Semitism and anti-police rhetoric in this country so that Jewish Americans and police officers can be safer.
Congressman, I do.
Thank you and I yield back.
The gentleman yields and now I recognize the gentlelady from Georgia, Ms.
Green.
That was quite entertaining from someone that had a sexual relationship with a Chinese spy.
And everyone knows it.
I move to take our words down.
Completely inappropriate.
Yeah, stand by just a second while we research the rule.
Give me just a second.
I need to reclaim my make sure I have my full five minutes.
Thanks.
Thanks, Dan.
The gentleman will, uh, the committee will suspend and the gentleman will state the words that he wishes taken down.
Everything that the gentlelady from Georgia has said.
No, you need to be more specific.
Accusations of an affair with a Chinese spy.
Those are engaging in personalities and those words should be taken down and the gentlelady should not be able to speak anymore in this hearing.
That is not, the latter part of that is not an appropriate motion, but we will evaluate the striking of those words.
Give me just a second.
The chair recognizes the gentlelady from Georgia and asks if she would like to retract those words.
No, I will not.
No, I will not. I will not.
No, I will not. I will not.
No, I will not.
I will not.
No, I will not.
Okay, the chair rules that those words that were spoken are not going to be stricken from the record.
The gentleman from Mississippi is recognized.
How about that, Carl?
We'll not be stricken from the record.
I mean, she speaks the direct truth here, and everyone knows that Swalwell went bang-bang with Fang Fang.
So, you know, they're trying to cover it up.
What a bunch of pussies.
I put up a tweet about Marjorie Taylor Greene having balls of brass and more courage than any other member of Congress, which has been very popular on Twitter.
Yeah, she is making noise, which is good.
The rule, I haven't read the rule, but I know enough about the nature of those that they didn't mention the idea of personality.
So what probably is going to be illegal or not allowed in that committee is ad hominem attacks against the character, against the personality.
But what Marjorie Taylor Greene is asserted fact, And, you know, if he doesn't want to challenge the factual statement of that, then yeah, that's totally allowed.
They can say it has nothing to do with what's going on on this hearing, but the idea that he wouldn't be allowed to state a fact like that, I'm glad that that got...
Get onto the record.
So the the big deal here in this shitty clown show is that it's not gonna get any better.
It's probably just gonna get worse because our opponents are trying to literally take over the world and to cull and to clear and to have this playground with far fewer humans than there are today.
And we shall see The name of the game is will the truth prevail or will the truth be silenced?
And I do appreciate Marjorie Taylor Greene for speaking up.
All of us do need to persist and to get a lot stronger with our hits.
We have to be able to make the case that these are crimes and require arrests.
Otherwise, it's just going to be more of this shitty clown show banter.
Keep it up, Marjorie.
We're all for you.
Meanwhile, Communist California has mandated unlimited electricity, basic service, and fixed monthly rates for consumers, which is going to end in a grid-down disaster.
This is going to be a catastrophe.
This is so stupid!
The Communist State of California has mandated fixed monthly basic service rates for unlimited electricity for consumers.
Creating a compelling incentive for those consumers to carry out large-scale cryptocurrency mining in their homes at artificially low cost, which will absolutely collapse the power grid.
I don't know if it has to have anything to do with cryptocurrency.
Just using unlimited amounts of energy when there are only limited amounts of energy is going to be catastrophic.
The fixed rate power arrangement has already been made law.
Power companies are forced to offer consumers unlimited kilowatt hours at zero incremental cost for their basic electricity service.
As MSN reports, Southern California Edison, Pacific Gas & Electric, San Diego Gas & Electric submitted a joint proposal to the Public Utilities Commission outlining the new rate structure.
It follows last year's passage of Assembly Bill 205, which requires a fixed rate and generally simpler power bills.
Under the new plan, you'll pay just $20 a month if you earn less than $69,000 a year.
That's a monthly fee for those served by Edison, slightly higher for PG&E and SDG&E.
If you earn $180,000 a year, you'll pay $51 a month as a flat fee, no matter how much electricity you use.
above 180,000, $85 a month flat fee for unlimited.
How do we know for sure?
This applies to unlimited electricity usage?
SDG&E actually brags about this in one of their press releases, declaring, under the SDG&E plan, customers would pay a fixed price that covers most of the utility's energy delivery service that would not change month to month, regardless of how much electricity is consumed.
Confusingly, the release then says some portion of a customer's bill will vary if they use clean energy, such as natural gas, wind, and solar.
This seems contradictory, almost as if the electric company were saying clean energy will cost you more, but dirty energy will be free and unlimited.
Leave it to delusional left-wing bureaucrats and communists to come up with such a structure that will disincentivize energy conservation, causing more people to use more energy that burns more fossil fuel resources such as coal.
Where do they think electricity comes from?
The press release even brags this will provide immediate financial relief for families since they won't be paying the actual amount of electricity they're using.
The entire program is being peddled as a kind of electricity welfare program to bring down everyone's power bill.
It's no surprise it's happening in a state run by lunatics who practice magic thinking, such as believing that a biological man can become a woman.
They also apparently believe electricity is created by magic kilowatt fairies or ambridge farting unicorns to feed the power grid for free.
With this program, the state just obliterated any incentive to conserve electricity.
It's going to become an all-you-can-eat kilowatt buffet for most of a person's power bill.
Even worse, It's obviously going to bankrupt the power companies, require California government to either heavily subsidize them or even take them over, create state-run power companies that function exactly as you might expect they would disastrously.
California residents and businesses should prepare for rolling blackouts and infrastructure collapse once the program kicks in around July of 2024.
Part of the goal is to make electric vehicles appear to be more affordable by artificially lowering the cost to charge them.
Effectively, it means California will be confiscating money from productive citizens to pay power companies to artificially lower rates so lower income can afford to charge electric vehicles.
As the raw cost of power generation increases, California will increasingly subsidize those costs to make it appear to residents that power usage is affordable.
This is exactly the kind of program that happens underclass in third-world economies, where the tyrannical regimes in power try to prevent uprising and revolts by subsidizing the basic cost of living for lower-income people.
California says it's going to become carbon neutral by 2024, which would cause the actual real world cost of electricity to skyrocket.
The state is going to hide that cost from consumers by subsidizing the power companies, pretending clean energy is also extremely affordable.
But like so much else in California, it's all based on delusional thinking that cannot be sustained in the real world.
California dreaming, in other words.
We predict this unlimited use experiment will end in catastrophic collapse, followed by chaos and despair.
There's just no way around it.
It's stunning they're even going to do it.
Carl, your thoughts?
As a Californian, I haven't heard anything about increasing the supply of energy, and we do have blackouts.
Like, every year, we get them.
Either right here where we are, or we read about them around in the neighborhood.
So, without any new supply, and without telling us the numbers of how they're going to manage this, Honest face.
This again seems like captured communist bolt suckers at work again.
I was interested that in that article that the state of California is a little bit confused about whether natural gas is clean energy or dirty energy because you know we've had all that talk of getting rid of the gas stoves because it's somehow dirty energy but in that article they had the previous information from the last narrative that they had where it is clean.
I'll put a link again down below For those who are interested to know that there have been several breakthroughs with free energy.
And if we did have free energy, then it would be rather simple just to have a one-size-fits-all type of bill for the management of that infrastructure.
Yeah, that's a nice point, Carl.
I'm glad you added that.
Meanwhile, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.
CBDCs are the ultimate mechanism for social surveillance and control.
He's got it right.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
Known for his vocal efforts against vaccines and Big Pharma.
More recently, he's been exposing the corruption and damage linked to the experimental COVID shots.
Now, throwing his head into the ring for the White House, he's worrying about central bank digital currencies in a manner similar to that of G. Edward Griffin.
The Free Thought Project reports Since announcing his presidential campaign, Democrat candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
has made it clear that he is pro-digital and financial freedom by opposing central bank digital currencies, calling out, debanking, and slamming digital IDs.
Kennedy's criticism of CBDCs has been geared around FedNow, an instant payment infrastructure developed by the Federal Reserve set to launch in July.
Kennedy initially described FedNow as a CBDC before later clarifying that he fears it's a first step toward CBDC.
114 countries, representing more than 91% of the world's global domestic product, are exploring the CBDC.
The Biden admin has said they have the potential to offer significant benefits.
The heads of major central banks have confirmed CBDC will be identity verified, lack the privacy of cash, and be programmable.
This programmability means the central bankers and governments can make your CBDC expire, impose spending limits, control what you're allowed to spend your CBDC on, Kennedy has recognized these powers raise a slippery slope to financial slavery and political tyranny.
In a tweet, he said, While cash transactions are anonymous, a CBDC will allow the government to survey all our private financial affairs.
The central bank will have the power to enforce dollar limits on our transactions, restricting where you can send money, where you can spend it, and when money expires.
He also noted the surveillance and control will likely not be limited to financial data because CBDC users have to verify their identity.
This link to identity means governments or central banks can bring in lots of additional data linked to your identity, combine this with the financial data they extract from your CVDC use, and create an expansive social credit score that dictates how or even if you can spend your money.
The candidate has suggested such a score can be tied to compliance with arbitrary government degrees, such as being vaccinated.
He believes COVID-19 and the banking crisis will be used by governments as an excuse to usher them in.
Predicts that as governments introduce CBDCs, they'll begin to crack down on cyber currencies and other assets that serve it in a cave route from government control of the financial system.
He recently forecast that.
The Fed will initially limit its CBDC to interbank transactions, but we should not be blind to the obvious danger that this is the first step in banning and seizing Bitcoin, as the Treasury did with gold 90 years ago today, in 1933.
Kennedy, like many in the cryptocurrency industry, believes this crackdown has already begun.
In a recent tweet, he claimed the Biden White House has organized bankers to participate in a sophisticated wide-thread crackdown to destroy the crypto industry.
His comments are describing Operation Chokepoint 2.0, a Biden administration effort alleged to discourage banks from providing their services to cryptocurrency firms.
He added, the recent crackdown on crypto blocks, exit ramps, removes alternative rails, and strengthens government control over both the financial and political systems.
We should be wary, since CBDCs are the ultimate mechanism for social surveillance and control.
His pro-digital and financial freedom stance is in stark contrast to several other prominent figures in the Democrat Party who have embraced CBDCs and attacked cryptocurrency.
Democrat President Joe Biden's admin loves CBDCs and financial surveillance.
And the Biden regime recently signaled that it plans to go after decentralized cryptocurrency markets by forcing them to identify their customers.
These decentralized markets allow users to buy, sell and exchange crypto without relying on centralized intermediary and usually don't require identification verification.
This makes it harder for government to link transactions to a person's identity, survey transactions, block transactions, and financially blacklist people.
If the Biden admin is effective at forcing these decentralized cryptocurrency markets to implement identity verification, they'll become part of the same centralized financial dragnet that banks and CBDCs currently operate in.
A dragnet where every transaction is surveyed and where governments control who gets to participate.
Senator Elizabeth Warren, a former presidential candidate, is another well-known Democrat who has declared war on crypto and welcomes CBDCs.
She recently launched an anti-crypto Senate re-election campaign and has previously called for the surveillance of cryptocurrency wallets.
In a 2022 interview with NBC, she expressed disdain for Bitcoin, said it's time for CBDCs.
Warren's call came just one month after Biden signed an executive order instructing federal agencies to explore a digital dollar and develop a cryptocurrency regulation strategy.
Despite the clear effort of Biden and Warren to push the CVDC, the Fed is downplaying Kennedy's concerns that FedNow is the first step toward that.
A central bank claims FedNow is not a step toward eliminating any form of payment and that it has made no decision on issuing a central bank digital currency.
But actions speak louder than words.
Kennedy is sounding the alarm about a trend that's clear for everyone to see.
Carl, your thoughts?
Well, those CBDCs.
So people just should say no and be able to articulate at least three good areas of facts why the leaders of the Federal Reserve should be arrested for massive fraud in the looting of Not billions, not trillions, not tens of trillions, but hundreds of trillions of our dollars.
Yeah, of course these psychopaths are going to link it to social credit because that's what they do.
They want to be able to turn off, they want one source of what you can spend money with, and they want to be able to turn it off just like that, like the electrical grid.
So the Fed is a history of psychopaths, and I'll put the documentation down below.
They engage in bankster looting and inflation rate where the Federal Reserve has destroyed 99% of the original dollar when they began in 1913.
And that is an Orwellian inversion of their statutory requirements of what they're meant to perform, which is to minimize inflation, to minimize the interest rates and to maximize Employment.
So what they've done instead is they produced these two big to fail banks, an exponential growth curve of debt, an aggregate debt curve, where we are told that the only solution is this great reset, where the same people that want the CBDCs are saying that we're going to have to eat bugs, own nothing, live in pods, wash for body parts and be happy.
Now, You've got to be stupid to let these people rule you when there are alternatives, financial Reform is easy to understand with monetary reform and public banking.
Public banking just means that instead of selling debt securities to finance your infrastructure, you create the credit in-house and at cost.
There's only one state that does this, the state of North Dakota.
It's the only state that has increasing budget surpluses.
Every other state has increasing red tape and deficits and debt.
How it saves you that money is that, for example, here in the San Francisco Bay Area, we put in a new Bay Bridge about 15 years ago, I think.
It cost $6 billion, they told us, but we sold the debt securities, and 30 years of debt securities, like a mortgage, is going to double that nominal cost, so the California taxpayers are going to have to pay back $12 billion instead of $6.
If we had the public banking, we'd save $6 billion, literally half of the price tag.
In monetary reform, all that means is that in our current system, you just create what is used for money as debt, a negative number.
And that's adding negative numbers forever, and that's what creates the mathematical, mechanical certainty of that exponential growth curve that will collapse in tragic comedy.
Monetary reform is the ability to create what is used for money as a positive number where the federal government Just because they have the authority with the money right now, would directly create digits into bank accounts to pay and invest for infrastructure.
And to the extent that the infrastructure produces more economic output than the cost of the inputs, which is why you would make an investment in infrastructure, then you get the triple benefits of falling prices, the improved infrastructure, and up to full employment.
Same thing as everything else.
If people had the facts, of course they would reject these lying, looting psychopaths and demand their arrests to be incapable of causing more harm through more lies and more fraud and more crime.
And we could have an honest examination of the mechanics of money and the solutions become far more obvious when you actually have the data rather than these lying sacks of spin.
Indeed.
Nice.
Very nice points, Carl.
Meanwhile, has a big Hollywood D.C.
corruption trial with a genuine movie star been mostly ignored?
The press has gone and made another mess of it just because they got so much invested in it.
You'll never be the same, because everyone's corrupted by fame.
Van Morrison in fame.
Corruption is our protection.
Corruption keeps us safe and warm.
Corruption is why we win.
Syriana, 2005.
There's been an interesting literal revelation of the method when it comes to foreign money controlling the U.S.
election process in the first two terms of the Barack Hussein Obama presidency, specifically thanks to the justice system actually doing what it's supposed to do so far.
The reason you've probably not heard about it Or even if you have, you've not got the full story.
It's because a controlled, corrupt, collectivist, corporate clown media is not doing the job it's supposed to do.
In short, Oscar-winning movie star Leonardo DiCaprio testified before a federal court early this week about the alleged involvement of a crooked Malaysian financier named Joe Lowe to launder money funneled through one of the founders of the legendary 1990s rap group Fugues in order to donate tens of millions of dollars to the second Obama presidential campaign in 2012.
Strictly speaking, from even a simple nuts-and-bolts meat-and-potato PR perspective, for TV ratings and clickbait, this story involved political corruption, a pioneering rap superstar, former president, Leonardo DiCaprio, Hollywood, and millions and millions of dollars.
What's not to like about this news story, from a viral gossip and hyperbolic headline point of view?
How come the LA Times and New York Times haven't printed a peep, and all the late-night talk show influencers are avoiding the early punchlines, like America's moms are eschewing the mRNA COVID booster for their kids?
Of course I'm joking.
You know what's not to like, and you know who doesn't like it.
The story is not favorable to the occupying regime, one tendril of which includes one of its subjects, the Obama machine and its oily, octopus-like transformational tentacles into the music industry, Netflix, Hollywood, advertising, journalism, and, of course, The Democrat Party, or whatever it actually is now, the parasite, has taken over the host.
But DiCaprio, who's played both gangster and cop, threw the wrapper under the bus when put on the stand.
As prosecutors sought to tie the iconic hip-hop group Fugues' founder, Praxel Pras Michael, to the notorious Malaysian financier Joe Lowe, claiming Pras assisted in the funneling of Lowe's money to Obama's re-election bid.
This was necessary because foreigners cannot donate to U.S.
campaigns under federal election law.
CNN gives a decent rundown here, but not on TV, best I can tell.
The prosecution asserts that Praise Michael was given more than $21 million from foreign accounts linked to Joe Lowe.
The rapper then paid out varying sums of roughly 20 straw donors who were expected to make contributions to the Obama campaign in their names.
This way, the money wouldn't be traced back to Lowe.
The reason it came to light is not because it's a gross insult to American election sovereignty, nor because of the alarming corruption that is ever more exposed about the first two Obama administrations, which I voted for twice, as indeed did I, Jim Fetzer, but because it turned out the way the vast majority of the donated money was allegedly stolen.
That's one way everybody got caught in the illegal election financing scam.
The source of their cash was as dirty as the way they were doling it out.
And what's the latest real-life example of how you just can't trust criminals?
The illegal campaign contributions from Joe Lowe came via the cash he'd been accused of embezzling.
A jaw-dropping $4.5 billion from the Malaysian Sovereign Wealth Fund, known as IMDB, which is an acronym for Malaysia's State Investment Fund.
It should have been 1MDB, 1 Malaysian Development Berhad.
Quick rewind.
The one Malaysian development Burhat scandal was called the single biggest kleptocracy case in history by the U.S.
Department of Justice in 2016.
Yeah, I'll bet it's another thing you never heard about because of corporate media blackout.
The 1MDB scandal involved a literal conspiracy of corruption, bribery, money laundering, and shameless inside job financial manipulation, during which the Malaysian sovereign wealth fund, 1MBD, was embezzled systematically, its assets diverted globally by the conspirators who plotted the scheme, which is about as textbook a conspiracy as it gets.
Fox, Guardian, Hen House, The Financial Theft Conspiracy at Global Scope, and Implicated Institutions and Individuals in Politics, Banking, and Entertainment.
The milquetoast Wikipedia explanation makes for a decent primer on the subject.
Of course, you can see why this story, too, would be ignored by the controlled corrupt collectivist corporate clown media.
It's a real conspiracy.
But the media message is those things don't exist.
Especially in finance.
Especially during an age when big finance primarily owns big media.
So conspiracies don't exist.
Until they do.
In 2015, Joe Lowe got caught with a bunch of other parasites accused of embezzling billions from Malaysia's OneMBD, which led to investigation and charges in several countries, including the USA.
The long, slow digestive system of justice is finally crabbing out a trial for the fugus guy and his connection to Joe Lowe Joe Lowe in April 2023.
Scapegoats are needed because Joe Lowe's not even here to prosecute.
He's been on the lam.
A fugitive from justice ever since the scandal broke.
Nobody's seen him.
But foreign policy gossip and the Fed frontman on the chance.
Say he's hiding out in Macau and moves about rather freely in China.
Joe Lowe has, of course, denied doing anything wrong.
He loves America.
Bitches to anyone who listens.
The charges against him are all entirely politically motivated.
But the collateral damage of his crimes have trickled down to the now-professionally expendable guys like Paz Michael, who had their day.
People forget, but the Fougues 1996 album, The Score, was one of the biggest-selling rap albums of all time.
Seven-time platinum.
But that day is done.
All the world's a stage.
Everybody plays their role.
That role can change once you sell out the machine, which may tie its fate to yours, but even more crucially, does the opposite as well.
Yesterday's man of the moment is tomorrow's fall guy.
Which by another Fuji founder, Wyclef Jean, a trifle nervous about all that Haiti charity money that got moved around with the Clinton Foundation, and don't even start to look into what they did to Lauryn Hill.
Carl, your thoughts?
Fascinating story.
So the first observation in that news is why even have the trial?
I mean every agency is controlled and it would be just a simple matter just to say oh yeah we have to throw this case out because and then they put in some bullshit there but instead we're being shown something we're being shown pay to play at a different level and with a foreign twist with it.
So it makes you wonder who's really in charge and why this type of disclosure.
Now, I'm of the conclusion that what we're seeing is a show because the amount that we're being placed on the scales of corruption and crime is just massive overkill.
It's a crazy amount.
And you'd have to wonder if our opponents were in charge, why would all of this be leaking out? - Right.
Maybe our opponents aren't in charge.
But what we can say for sure is that all of that observation seems unreliable to me in the fog of war.
So I think it's prudent to say that, whoa, that's really interesting.
And to observe that if White Hats are in charge, may we finally have the breakthrough.
And then we'll be able to have an opportunity to climb out and maybe have a chuckle over this ridiculous, tragic comedy.
And if the Black Hats are in charge...
Then it's even worse.
They're just putting it in our face.
And that would be this 5% that the Blackhats are in charge, where they just go ahead and show their cards.
It's like playing poker.
And they say, see?
What are you going to do, bitch?
What are you going to do?
I wouldn't put either outcome out of the range of possibility.
But man, it just gets crazier and crazier at this endgame.
I hate to say it, Carl, but I think it's black hats all the way down.
Meanwhile...
Brian Davidson unable to join us today and I did a special report with Giuseppe Vavangulo and Scorpio on the Buffalo shooting just taking it apart.
It was modeled on what happened in Christchurch.
It was a dissection for the ages.
So, of course, Witchute blocked it.
Your video contains abhorrent violence.
How can that be?
I wrote This email is to notify you your video moderation request has been successfully submitted.
Details are as follows.
Appeal.
Change sensitivity.
This is an expose of the Buffalo shooting by a private investigator and a Ph.D.
expert on these things.
Nothing remotely graphic.
The show's entire event was staged and modeled after another stage shooting.
The public needs to know they are being played by a stage event like this one.
It's a blatant case reverse.
If you did not submit this request, or have additional information to add, then please respond to this email with the details.
Kind regards.
I wrote back.
Yes, this is my request to reverse.
I'm a former Marine Corps officer and retired professor of philosophy.
I'm an expert in this area, and Brian Davidson, PI, did a brilliant, detailed, and painstaking review of the evidence in this case.
It was a staged shooting where nobody died.
To dismiss it on the ground that it glorifies violence, otherwise promotes it, contradicts the content.
This needs to remain accessible to inform the public that some of these events are not just fake, but provably false.
Thank you.
James H. Fetzer, Ph.D.
See my CV.
Check it out.
Thanks.
Pete at Bitchute came back!
Thank you for taking the time to contact us on this matter.
We have reviewed the video and found it does reach our community guideline, Kind Regards, a Bitchute team.
The idea that any human being actually read any of this or looked at the video and drew that conclusion is ridiculous!
We're talking about automated processing.
Sad to say.
Insulting.
Embarrassing.
Wrong.
But that's what's going on, I have no doubt.
Carl, your thoughts?
That is what's going on, and that was a brilliant video in Buffalo.
Are there other places where the curious can see that video, Jim?
There are a couple, Carl, yeah.
Yeah, because that was the that was the video where Brian took a look at the shadows falling To be able to demonstrate the time of day of the alleged shooting was false.
That's right.
That was done in two parts and so forth.
And of course, no shells were being ejected.
People were falling before they were shot.
There was no blood.
Even firing into the cranium from short range, which should have blown it apart like a melon didn't happen.
It was only a blast of air.
And they said that was excessive violence.
How ridiculous.
Yeah, yeah.
Did you follow up with that Pete guy in the UK to actually ask for an explanation about what was?
He's a bot!
I have no doubt, Carl, he's a bot.
No human being actually read that.
It's just ridiculous.
Well, with what we're looking at, this is a refusal to respond, and the category of the answer is just a denial.
And denial is the first act of liars and the criminal.
So an evasion to respond to explain an appeal.
Instead, this is not some sort of a judicial fair process where they have a little icon of a judge's gavel.
This is dictatorship.
Where you're just being told something and it's not explained.
So yeah, you know, Jim, I think that given the current events, I think that Brian and G-Man and you, you might be able to sue them for something like $785 million.
I like that, Carl.
I like that.
Nice point.
Yep, yep, yep.
So in general, there's I hope people can see that you can take comfort and pride in having command of the facts, that we are pointing to this ridiculous condition of a rogue state empire that has nothing but lies and bluster.
And at the same time, it looks like we have no power to do anything about it.
Well, we shall see, as I have been saying, is that whatever religious, philosophical type of expression you have, this is the time to practice it.
This is under the most intense stress.
And as we all know, any type of a product, any type of a performance has to be put under stress to see what it really has.
So exercise your best philosophy, be proud in what you can be proud about, which is the power of our messages in one part, and the The character that we have to be able to stand up and point to the truth and demand justice.
At the same time, you do have to surrender to the size of your playing piece on the field, which is really difficult for me.
But, you know, what are you going to do?
We have the truth, and we've taken it to agencies, and we continue to express it, and we continue to get denied and shut down, and our one loss record is just one L after another.
But the game isn't over until the fat lady sings.
Not sure how that ties to it, but until the fat lady has to take a knee and take her final COVID shot and keel over, I guess.
So hang in there, stick with the truth, and we'll see what breaks.
That would have made an excellent closing thought, my friend.
Meanwhile, we want to hear from you.

A couple of comments from my blog.
What's amazing to me is that transgenderism is being pushed big time even into primary schools.
And the Democrats from Obama's presidency are obsessed with promoting it as being something normal.
There are many trans people and queers within the undemocratic, illegitimate Biden administration.
Budweiser is pushing trans beer with Clydesdale gilding urine as a suspected dilute ingredient, mostly because of the taste.
It's more likely that Michael is male than Michelle is female.
Another There's several thousands of an obvious female appearing Michelle on Google Images versus a small handful of proven Photoshop pictures of a bearded Michelle.
Do not convince me Michelle is male.
There were thousands of images of even a slightly bearded Michelle.
I might change my mind.
This is why I'm tired of replying on this topic.
Several medical doctors have posted that Michelle has extra DNA, which is the reason for her broad shoulders and tall stature.
These articles have all been scrubbed and no longer on the internet.
Final thoughts now.
Carl, yours.
I've seen that screen of final thoughts and my mind jumped ahead to it.
So my final thoughts for it, just take care of people, be strong, stand for the truth.
It was.
It was a wonderful final thought.
And, you know, Carl, you had excellent comments today.
This thing about Michelle, Michael, even Barack Obama has referred to his wife as Michael in front of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
There's so many photographs, there's so much evidence.
I thought that last remark was just simple-minded and embarrassing.
If you check out where Michelle danced on the Owen DeGeneres Show, you can see she's got a package that's moving in her trousers.
That's not something women normally have.
So I'm telling you, the proof, in my opinion, is overwhelming.
I wouldn't bother to talk about it, but she has political potentials.
They want to run her for VP or even P, for all I know, next time around.
It would be a disaster.
We learned from her first time around with her husband.
We can't afford to take a second beating from the Obamas.
Thanks for being here.
Spend as much time with your family, friends, people you love and care about.
We do not know how much time we have left.
