	This is Jim Fetzer in Madison, Wisconsin, joined today by Joe Olson in Houston, Texas, and Marian Hennane at an undisclosed location in Florida.
	We're here to share with you all the news you need to know.
	We begin with the Senate voting 95 to 1 to expand NATO into Sweden and Finland.
	Talk about stupidity!
	Finland and Sweden have never had it so good, and they'll never have it so bad.
	This is absolutely awful.
	Only Senator Hawley voted no, Rand Paul voting present.
	The Senate vote was needed to ratify U.S.
	approval for Sweden and Finland to join the military alliance.
	The House voted to support it by 394 to 18, way back when.
	Turkey's the only NATO member That might block them from joining.
	Meanwhile, the West deploys more heavy weapons to Ukraine, and the Department of Defense announced another package valued at up to $550 million.
	This is a 17th drawdown of equipment from DoD inventories for Ukraine.

	Notice, taking that weapon out of the American military inventory means it's not available here in the United States should it be needed.
	The new package includes 75,000 rounds of 155 artillery and additional ammo for the HIMARS, the Mobile Artillery Rocket Systems.
	In total, the U.S.
	has already committed $8.8 billion in security assistance.
	He doesn't do anything to enhance the security of the United States.
	It's all going to Ukraine.
	The Ukrainian defense minister declared the Ukrainian armies received the German Mars 2 MLRS.
	The exact number of launchers not revealed, but there should be three in total.
	Many Ukrainian crews of Western systems are under the direct command of military of the U.S.
	Army.
	That is making us a coal belligerent.
	The same day the Russian Ministry of Defense declared destruction of two HIMARS systems, 53 Ukrainian servicemen and foreign mercenaries were killed in the attack.
	So far the Russian side has taken out six HIMARS launchers on other foreign military equipment, five Harpoon anti-ship complexes, 33 M777 howitzers have been hit,
	The People's Militia of the Donetsk People's Republic reported 355 shells have been fired by Ukrainian forces on the territory in the past few days, killing one civilian and four others, shelling 13 different settlements.
	The West is falling for it.
	Here's a bit of a report about it.
	Let's listen.
	On August 1st, the U.S.
	Department of Defense announced another military aid package for Ukraine valued at up to 550 million U.S.
	dollars.
	This authorization is the Biden administration's 17th drawdown of equipment from DoD inventories for Ukraine since August of 2021.
	The new package includes 75,000 rounds of 155mm artillery ammunition and additional ammunition for high-mobility artillery rocket systems.
	In total, the United States has already committed approximately $8.8 billion in security assistance to Ukraine since the beginning of the Biden administration.
	Since 2014, the United States has committed more than $10 billion.
	In turn, the Ukrainian Defense Minister claimed that four more mobile HIMARS launchers have been delivered to Ukraine.
	In total, Kiev got 16 launchers from the U.S.
	The Ukrainian Defense Minister declared that the Ukrainian Army has received German MARS-2 MLRS systems.
	The exact number of launchers handed over to Kiev was not revealed, but earlier Berlin reported that there should be three of them in total.
	Earlier on July 26, German Defense Minister Christina Lambrecht said that Germany has delivered the promised multiple rocket launcher systems to Ukraine along with three more Panzerhaubeit 2000 self-propelled howitzers.
	Many Ukrainian crews of Western systems are under the direct command of active military personnel of the U.S.
	Army.
	On the same day, the Russian Ministry of Defense declared the destruction of two more HIMARS systems as a result of a strike on the Ukrainian energy machines at a plant in Kharkiv.
	53 Ukrainian servicemen and foreign mercenaries were killed in the attack.
	So far, the Russian side has announced that six HIMARS launchers have been destroyed.
	Among the other foreign military equipment, five Harpoon anti-ship complexes and 33 M777 howitzers were hit by Russian forces.
	Military equipment supplied to the Armed Forces of Ukraine by Kiev's Western allies is used not only in the battles on the front lines, but also for the attacks on civilians in the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics.
	On August 2nd, the People's Militia of the DPR reported that 355 shells were fired by the Ukrainian forces on the territory of the Republic over the past day.
	As a result of the shelling of 13 different settlements, a civilian was killed and four others were injured.
	The armed forces of Ukraine launched 15 HIMARS missiles at the villages of Pervomaisk and Stakhanov, damaging civilian infrastructure.
	The West is falling into a direct military conflict against Russia.
	Well, Joe, your thoughts?
	Yeah, well, Turkey had supplied the Ziolinski with the Barak-Tar drones, which were pretty effective against Russian up to this point, but now the Russians have deployed a new Pantsir, P-A-N-T-S-I-R-S-2 anti-drone system, which has twice the range of the
	Barrack cars, and so they're able to hit them as soon as they take off and before they can do any amount of damage and they've been sweeping the skies.
	In addition, Russia has bought over 50 new drones from Iran and Iran was able to hack our drones Back during the Afghanistan war and land one of them and so they've had the ability to completely reverse engineer those over about the last 10 years so they've got greater capability at this point so bottom line is the Russians are trying out whatever techniques it takes to complete everything involved in the
	NATO takeover of Russia, and it looks like that it's starting to play out.
	Yesterday, and this was a hat tip to Alex Kristofor, that Amnesty International has now stated that, excuse me, incoming spam.
	Amnesty International has now stated that Ukraine has been violating human rights and using Ukrainian citizens as human shields around their military targets.
	And so what it looks like is they're starting to see the writing on the wall that this thing is going to be over in the next 30 days, and that Russia has got gas supplies to Europe cut down to about 10% at this point, which we'll get to a little further.
	Bottom line is...
	Zelensky says that he's really depressed and that's why he called China so he could try to get some help from China because he's not going to be getting much more out of NATO and FJB is depressed.
	Jill's worried that because he keeps constantly getting throwback COVID and his popularity ratings are failing that he's depressed and she's worried about his health and it's like Yeah, well, it's time to clean the stage of two of these puppet leaders.

	And since the founding of the country, The Congress has declared war 11 times The last time was in December of 1941, and the U.N.
	was founded in 1946 to
	End future wars and we've been in continuous war ever since the UN was founded and always under a resolution, a continuing action resolution, where Congress has advocated their responsibility to declare war and it looks like this 95 to 1 vote is green lighting the president to go ahead and declare war unilaterally without having the required constitutional Very, very nice addendum, Joe.

	Meanwhile, Sanders announces the amendment to strip all fossil fuel land outs from the mansion deal Well, then Manchin's not going to support it.
	I mean, how stupid is this?
	I like Bernie Sanders, but this is one of the dumbest things he's ever done.
	Bernie Sanders announced he's filing amendments to remove fossil fuel giveaways from the new reconciliation bill and strengthen their drug price provisions.
	In a speech, he reiterated that he sees deep flaws in the reconciliation package produced after months of negotiation with Joe Manchin and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, where Manchin was holding out for special provisions that would benefit West Virginia.
	Bernie now wants to rip them out.
	That means it's going to lose the support of Joe Manchin.
	It means the whole damn thing is going to go down in flames, which frankly is an outcome I welcome.
	He warned the measure in a current form would give gas and oil billions of dollars in new tax breaks and subsidies over the next 10 years.
	It might seem a bit incongruous to people why we are rewarding those whose emissions are driving the temperature of Earth up and causing massive destruction.
	Based on his scientific illiteracy and global ignorance, Sanders is playing his role as a useful idiot here.
	He intends to introduce amendments ensuring Medicare pays no more for prescription drugs than the Department of Veterans Affairs.
	A recent study showed that the prescription drug benefit provided through government-approved private plans paid twice as much as the Veterans Affairs Department for the same medicine.
	How insane is it that you have one federal agency called the VA that pays 50% of what Medicare pays?
	How crazy is that?
	When it comes to reducing the price of prescription drugs, we don't have to reinvent the wheel.
	We can simply require Medicare to pay no more than the VA pays.
	End of discussion.
	We'd save some $900 billion over the next decade.
	The senator's criticism of the reconciliation bill comes as they try to get it passed before recess begins on August 8th.
	That is Monday!
	Senate parliamentarian is examining the provisions, preparing to involve lawmakers on whether each section complies with the arcane rules of budget reconciliation.
	Kyrsten Sinema, meanwhile, is reportedly pushing for the removal of carried interest provisions aimed at limiting the liability of private equity moguls and hedge fund managers to dodge taxes.
	Sinema's vote is necessary for final passage, has yet to publicly express support for the bill.
	Meanwhile, the Supreme Court certifies a final order ending the Trump-era Remain-in-Mexico policy Monday in Bryden v. Texas, issued on June 30.
	The admin may end the Remain-in-Texas border policy by a vote of 5-4.
	Formerly entitled the Migrant Protection Protocols, it had required asylum seekers and other immigrants to return to Mexico to wait for their court date.
	Chief Justice Roberts and Brett Kavanaugh joined three more liberal justices in the majority, but his senators included Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito, Neil Gorsuch, and Amy Coney Barrett.
	Biden first ordered it ended when he took office in 2021.
	He faced immediate litigation from Missouri and Texas alleging he'd violated the Federal Administrative Procedure Act, requiring them to the executive branch to develop or revise administrative regulations through a process that Biden had not followed.
	The DHS said around 70,000 migrants were returned to Mexico under the MPPB, before Biden issued the order.
	It was ordered to reinstate enforcement.
	5,800 were returned to Mexico.
	Supporters said it served as an effective deterrent to illegal migrants.
	No doubt it was a good thing.
	Around 70,000 legitimate asylum seekers were safely able to enter, while others have been detained.
	The AP reported the United Nations International Organization for Migration posted a sign at the Tijuana Mexico Salvation Army Camp shelter advising potential border crosses as a status of the MPP.

	And by the way, the latest I saw, Sinema was going to support it, but I think if Bernie's going to strip out the provisions, they're going to lose Manchin and it's going to go down to defeat anyway, which would be an outcome I would applaud.

	Yeah, they're going to solve inflation by doing another three quarter billion dollar or three quarter trillion, excuse me, dollar expenditure.

	Maybe he's trying to make up for all the date rate that he hypothetically did when he was in high school.

	And in that inflation bill, they intend to pay for this by collecting more increasing taxes, number one, but also collecting more taxes by hiring 10,000 new IRS inspectors and giving them 4,500 new sidearms and millions new IRS inspectors and giving them 4,500 new sidearms and millions of rounds of So if you don't think we have a weaponized government, just wait till you sit down with your audit.
	You've got armed IRS agents surrounding you.
	Yeah, that's going to be a fun world to live in.

	We're going to spend three quarters of a trillion dollars to reduce the inflation.

	Post Office is suspending services effective immediately in certain areas because of the risk of crime.
	There's no guarantee your mail is going to show up every day, especially in 2022.
	The Post Office has been battling growing complaints about delays, but the threat of mail theft has increased significantly, making it likely your mail could be stolen before it reaches you.
	Moreover, the USPS plays a more direct role in your empty mailbox.
	The Postal Agency Canada will suspend delivery services for a number of reasons.
	People across the U.S.
	have had their mail service stripped throughout the years.
	They suspended delivery in three cities under a tax against postal carriers in Santa Monica, California, Greenfield, Indiana, and Des Moines, Iowa, believe it or not.
	Residents in one Santa Monica neighborhood received a notice of mail suspension back in April due to assaults and threats of assault from one individual against multiple carriers in the area.
	Meanwhile, the others lost when UPS workers were attacked by loose dogs.
	USPS was forced to suspend at several post offices in Northern California.
	According to the e-commerce news outlet, the agency closed in four Skiskew County cities, Kalmouth River, Hamley Camp, Scott Bar, and Sead Valley, a result of the McKinney Fire, a massive wildfire that broke out in the Klamath National Forest near the border with Oregon on July 29. a massive wildfire that broke out in the Klamath National They've also updated the Residential Service Disruptions Alert page that two of the post offices have reopened Hamley Camp and Sead Valley.

	Yes, public pressure prompts USPS to boost EV purchases.
	Congress will work through the weekend on the Inflation Reduction Act and the 217,000 delivery vehicles.
	That fleet is going to switch from 10% EVs to 40% EVs.
	And anybody that's been around the EV discussion for any length of time, Knows how undependable those are.
	So expect your mail to get burned up in a mail truck or expect it to not be delivered because the truck broke down because there were no charging stations on your rural route.

	And instead of doing things to improve it, I'm sure it's part of the plans to get rid of it altogether.
	Well, the idea of privatizing or quasi-privatizing a post office was absurd from the beginning.
	This is a function of government to enable citizens of the United States to communicate with one another.
	It should be fully funded by the American government.
	Meanwhile, Blake Masters, who once cited a Nazi official—this is coming from Truthout, a left-wing website—among the far-right candidates that prevail in Arizona during the primaries.
	They have chosen a brash 35-year-old whose record includes once citing a prominent Nazi as a challenger to Mark Kelly, the ex-Austrian husband of the Jewish representative who was shot at a political event in 2011, which many of us believe was orchestrated to kill the judge, and that they have simply capitalized on the event for political purposes.
	Blake Masters solidly prevailed in the Republican primary with the support of former President Trump and tech financer Peter Thiel.
	The win came despite fierce criticism of past and current rhetoric.
	Much of the background was unearthed by Jewish Insider, which scoured Masters' online postings from nearly two decades ago To construct the image of an iconoclastic libertarian who only recently claimed to embrace Republican orthodoxy.
	And those, of course, would be of Donald Trump, not of the traditional country club Republican Party.
	One was where he included a poignant quote from Herman Gorey arguing against U.S.
	intervention in foreign conflicts.
	A bad idea, U.S.
	intervention in foreign conflicts unless they merit or conflict with the U.S.
	national interest.
	The overlap between conspiracy theorists and anti-Semites is quite strong.
	Notice how they want to generalize to take on any of us who dispute the versions of history that are being marketed but cannot be substantiated by the facts.
	Masters is no exception.
	The Gurian quote is, in and of itself not anti-Semitic, is that Masters cannot appreciate that other non-Nazis have said similar things.
	So clearly, this was a smear that even they themselves admit is unwarranted.
	Masters is not the only Republican who's embraced conspiracy theories.
	Mark Fincham, a state representative who believes that there was a theft of the 2020 election, which is a fact, will be the Republican candidate for Secretary of State.
	He complained he drew criticism for comparing a hotel chain decision not to hoist a speech by DeSantis to the Holocaust.
	He touted his endorsement by Andrew Torba, founder of a social networking platform Gab, Who said that Jews are not welcome on the site.
	Gab is favored by the far right because of permitted speech that mainstream social media platforms have banned.
	He was by a shooter who killed 11 Jews at their synagogue in Paris in Pittsburgh in 2011.
	That was a totally phony event.
	Myles Mathis dissected that in Pittsburgh.
	It was ridiculously amateurish.
	Totally fake.
	Meanwhile, the Republican incumbent, Paul Gosar, who is already a far-right member, who is supposed to have association with another anti-Semite, has held a fundraiser.
	Most Jewish groups, including the Republican Jewish Coalition, have denounced Gosar over time.
	At least one Jewish candidate proudly touted his endorsement.
	Republican Rodney Glassman, a former Democrat who was lagging in his primary for State Attorney General.
	In other significant races featuring Jewish candidates, Adam Menzendorf, a former executive for the Scenic Suns, was trounced in the Democrat primary in Arizona 6th, and the Republican candidate for superintendent of public instruction will certainly be Jewish.
	Tom Horne, who previously held the role, is currently leading the vote count with Israeli immigrant Sheri Saber in second.
	Both said they want to strip politics from Arizona's tools.
	Which would be a welcome outcome.

	Meanwhile, why China loses any escalation involving Taiwan and the U.S.
	Navy.
	This is from Mike Adams.
	In reaction to Pelosi's visit to the independent island nation, China is having a bitch fit launching missiles with flight paths over Taiwan while surrounding the island with five naval and air exercises.
	I think actually six.
	All part of the Chinese Communist Party reunification plan to take Taiwan, which of course they assert to be a part of China.
	This is the one China policy where the United States has formally acknowledged that Taiwan is not independent But actually is a part of China.
	Should China choose to block or attack Taiwan, the likely counterattack would involve not just Taiwan, but Japan, South Korea, Australia, the US, the UK, Germany, and other Western nations.
	In other words, oddly enough, and this is very perplexing, While the U.S.
	acknowledges the one-China policy, the U.S.
	is nevertheless committed to defending Taiwan from any military intervention by China.
	As I detailed today, Russia is formidable when it comes to ground warfare, where their artillery, Iskander missiles, tactical nukes, and other ground-based systems are the best and most effective in the world.
	When it comes to maritime conflict, however, the U.S.
	Navy is irrefutably unrivaled.
	The Navy operates 11 carriers, nine helicopter carriers.
	I was aboard one, the LBH-Iwo Jima, anchored out in Kaohsiung Harbor, Taiwan, when JFK was assassinated by coincidence.
	Russia has one carrier in China, only two in one helo.
	China's Liaoning carrier was purchased from Ukraine, ironically, in 1998, re-engineered with Chinese technology.
	Their second carrier, the Shandong, a more modern, launched around 2020.
	It's no match for the U.S.
	Nimitz-class or Ford-class carriers, but those carriers are sitting docks.
	Absolutely, they can be taken out by the Russian anti-ship missiles effortlessly.
	The era of the carrier is long since past, so Mike Adams has not quite caught up with what's going on here, in my opinion.
	Nimitz-class and the new Ford-class carriers are the largest, most heavily armed, and most capable warships in the world, except that they're easily taken out with the Russians' superior anti-ship missiles.
	The Navy's carrier strike groups are fully capable of defending against incoming missiles of all types, they claim here, but I say that's not correct, that the Russians are unstoppable.
	We don't know the final answer on China's hypersonic missile capabilities versus carrier anti-missile defenses.
	Meanwhile, Taiwan has ground-based missile systems that can take out the Three Gorges Dam in China, which would plunge their economy into collapse, mass flooding and starvation, even topple the Xi Jinping regime due to social unrest and mass uprising.
	The U.S.
	Navy also has nuclear-capable subs with ocean-launched ICBMs that can destroy entire cities, such as Beijing.
	Anything China wants to threaten to use against Taiwan and the U.S.
	Navy, therefore, Allied forces can threaten back at a much larger scale.

	How many of these are in actual operation?
	A whole other question.
	Fewer components, new reactor plants, increased sortie rate, new electrical distribution, elevated weapons, more flight deck.
	Given the disastrous U.S.
	pullout from Afghanistan, the U.S.
	is suffering from a catastrophic loss of reputation in terms of military capability, which is influencing nations around the world seeking to move from the petrodollar embrace the BRICS nation.
	The U.S.
	needs a victory in a significant military conflict that sends a message.
	Americans can still dictate terms to the world.
	I'm sorry.
	This would be too little, too late.
	And I frankly doubt that we could prevail, all things considered.
	Nancy Pelosi trip to Taiwan, therefore, he infers, was designed to provoke a military explanation from China to justify U.S.
	entering a war with China, which would be colossally stupid.
	Right now, the U.S.
	seems to be taunting China into a provocation.

	Well, it didn't take too long after Pearl Harbor when you saw the battleships sitting at the bottom of the brink that that wasn't the way that the world was going to go, and we ended up, I think, with about 60 aircraft carriers before World War II was over.
	But there again, they're obsolete in today's market, the Chinese have hypersonic torpedoes which we have absolutely no defense against, and they can be launched by low tech diesel electric submarines that can get within a close enough range to do that.
	And if you don't know that you're the first strike target.
	And the war starts immediately because you don't know that it's happening.
	You have no way of defending against those type of systems.

	It followed a dispute over a book called Gender Queer, a memoir.
	By Maya Khabobi, which had appeared in the Adult Graphic Novels section and prompted some residents to speak out against the content at library board meetings.
	The library staff sought to compromise, placing the book behind the counter.
	But the residents formed a group called Jamestown Conservatives and pressured neighbors to vote against the millage, which would have added $24 to property taxes.
	Jamestown Conservatives objected to the author's story, coming out as non-binary and handed out players reading, Pray that we can make changes and make the Patmos Library a safe and neutral place for our children, warning the library's director was pro-voting the LGBTQ ideology.
	The library director resigned, citing harassment and claims she was indoctrinating children.
	According to a Bridge, Michigan yard sign that appeared, 50% millage increase to groom our kids?
	Vote no on library.
	Without the funding, the library board president said the library will run out of funding by the fall of 2023, after its reserves of $325,000 are used up.
	Morris Kindsman, book editor for Vulture, called the vote catastrophic.
	This is catastrophic.
	We cannot let them defund our libraries when we're out to convert their children into queers.
	The potential closing, which will only be avoided if the town votes again on renewing the millage, comes as Republicans at federal, state, and local are promoting a nationwide battle over material teachers and librarians can share with children.

	I mean, I would venture to question what was Rudy Giuliani's true role?

	So what is the real objective of this?

	From my blog, DeSantis does it again.
	Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has suspended state attorney Andrew Warren for picking and choosing which laws to enforce based upon his personal agenda, and has appointed Susan Lopez as his replacement during the suspension.
	Warren, who had served the 13th Judicial Court, has most recently refused to allow state policy criminalizing abortion in the wake of the Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, and repeatedly refused to enforce laws cracking down on child sex chain surgeries, according to DeSantis.
	A liberal state attorney also declined to prosecute 67 protesters arrested in George Floyd demonstrations and said in 2017 that he would only pursue the death penalty in the very worst cases and not where mental illness played a role.

	Yes, well, we've got 75 Soros DAs, just like the one that DeSantis just fired.
	And at that same press hearing, the county sheriff, Grady Judd from Polk County, said that people had been murdered, he had a whole list of them, by DAs that let people out on personal recognizance bonds.
	So, we need to make sure that that practice stops everywhere.

	I'd like to share that yesterday, in my attempt to send gas money to my housemate, I learned that I was suspended now from Venmo.
	And I know this censorship has been normalized, but it began in my life as early as 2017.
	So if someone can use empathy and just realize that PayPal, GoFundMe, Kiva, Twitter, YouTube, Airbnb, Instacart, Chase Bank, I do not have many ways to earn a living.
	I used to get paid $2 a word.
	I wrote for The Holly Reporter, Penthouse, Maxim, LA Magazine, Marie Claire, and I am now just giving my brilliance for free.
	I don't know what to do because I see a lot of people that I know are not completely real raking in tons of money.
	And if anyone reads any of my articles, the amount of research, the gift that I have for writing, because a lot of shit writers out there.
	So I don't know what to do.
	I'm a hard worker.
	I'm an excellent journalist.
	And I just want to practice my degree and my passion.

	We'd had a positive interaction in the past over 9-11.
	When he organized his American Scholars Conference in Los Angeles in June of 2006, he invited me, Jim Fetzler, the founder of Scholars for 9-11 Truth, to give the keynote lecture.
	He also invited me and the four members of Scholars for 9-11 Truth to be the panelists on Sunday, where he moderated and recorded an hour and 45 minutes.

	It was astonishing to me how I reached out, not to the attorney who betrayed him, but to another who sought to remove himself from the case, no doubt because he saw how it was being rigged.
	But Alex is going to have an appealable issue here, my incompetent representation for sharing two years worth of text messages that caught him flat-footed.
	Joe's absolutely right about how he could have answered the question more diplomatically and not been vulnerable, but, frankly, you can stick a fork in Alex Jones, he's done.
	They got four million now, they're coming back for a penalty phase, it'll be ten times that much, minimally.
	They're going to bring an award against him of at least $40 million.
	I wouldn't be surprised if it were much more.
	Meanwhile, others of us, including Miriam and I, are seeking to do our part to expose these charades to the American people.
	My case is before the Supreme Court.
	Do whatever you can do to support us.
	We're doing our best to convey the truth and to stand up for your rights, for your rights.
	There's no question.
	Merriam's got it right.
	This is to penalize, to punish anyone who speaks out against official narratives, whether it's JFK, 9-11, Wellstone, Sandy Hook, the Boston Bar, they're going for all the marbles.
	This is the greatest assault on freedom of speech and freedom of the press in our lifetime.
