Need to Know News TEXAS TUESDAY (2 August 2022) with Joe Olson and Mike Cunningham
| Copy link to current segment

Time Text
This is Jim Fetzer in Madison, Wisconsin, joined today for another Texas Tuesday by Jolson in Houston and Mike Cunningham in Austin.
We're very pleased to have them both aboard here to bring you all the news you need to know.
We begin with Nancy Pelosi traveling to Hawaii amidst Chinese threats of military violence.
This appears to be one of the dumbest decisions yet by the Biden administration, and they've made some colossally stupid decisions, so that's saying something.
She issued a public statement upon arrival in Taiwan, celebrating Taiwan and the U.S.
shared commitment to Democrat values.
Give us a break.
Our discussion with Taiwan leadership will focus on reaffirming our support for our partner and promoting our shared interests, including advancing a free and open Indo-Pacific region.
America's solidarity with the 23 million people of Taiwan is more important today than ever as the world faces a choice between autocracy and democracy.
This is not going to go down well with the Chinese.
U.S.
leadership, for the most part, has taken threats from China of retaliation in stride, John Kirby reiterated that we're not actually changing our policy.
There's no reason for Beijing to turn a simple visit consistent with long-standing U.S.
policy into some sort of crisis or conflict.
We will not take the bait or engage in saber-rattling.
The Chinese Communist Party has already begun punishing Taiwan.
The website of the president was hit with a cyber attack, followed by a Chinese import ban on more than 100 Taiwanese food and agricultural firms.
What kind of message would it send to other leaders of the free world if the speaker of a major country's legislative branch canceled an unannounced trip to Taiwan because the PRC has threatened to use force against freedom-loving people on this beautiful island, said Wang Ting-yu, a Taiwanese member of parliament, in a tweet.
The CCP has turned the trip into something of a war drum, issued a number of increasingly bellicose threats.
Playing with fire will set you on fire, said Xi Jinping, telling President Biden on a phone call.
Chinese state-owned media took to social media with a long list of provocative and at times violent posts about the trip.
Most notably, urging the Chinese military to shoot down Pelosi's plane.
If U.S.
fighter jets escort her plane into Taiwan, it is an invasion, said Jing Hu, former editor of China's state-owned Global Times.
There were rumors Pelosi was aboard a U.S.
Air Force plane which flew out of Malaysia Tuesday with no listed destination.
The destination was updated to Taipei as it passed the Philippines.
It caught the attention of anxious China watchers flocking in the hundreds of thousands to track the aircraft.
There are Chinese communist authorities that made a number of sweeping and bellicose threats in an effort to deter the trip from happening.
The CCP claims Taiwan is a breakaway province that must be united with the mainland by force if necessary.
Meanwhile, anti-war head in advance suggested this might not be such a smart move.
House Speaker Pelosi will be visiting Taiwan during her tour of Asia just by warnings from China.
She's leading a congressional delegation in the Asia-Pacific that departed for the region on Sunday.
She's making the trip even though the Biden admin has warned against it and the military doesn't think it's a good idea.
I'm wondering if they mean has been warned against it.
China has made clear it will respond strongly to the visa.
White House security spokesman John Kirby said the administration is supporting the trip.
We want to make sure when she travels she can do safely and securely.
We're going to make sure of that.
Very troubling stuff.
Joe, your thoughts?
Oh yeah, well here's what else John Kirby, sock puppet talking head for the NSC had to say.
Nancy Pelosi lands in Taiwan after Kirby reaffirms that we do not support Taiwanese independence.
Yeah, so that's exactly where we are.
The estimates are that the entire military entourage for her and all the people and all the vodka it takes to ship her over and back is going to cost taxpayers somewhere around $90 million.
And surprisingly enough, this is coming right after She and her husband bought a bunch of futures on IC chips and then the Congress passed a bill for billions of dollars to aid the chip industry and I guess Taiwan is our unspoken state because apparently they have the ability to collect U.S.
taxpayers funds to build much-needed chips in Taiwan and claim that they are, you know, import protected.
I don't know.
The whole Excellent suggestion, Joe.
That thing's absolutely crazy.
But yeah, she's over there making sure that she gets her investment in the IC chip industry.
And China is not going to put up with this.
But if they wanted to really sink the canoe, they ought to just release all the files they have on Hunter and Joe and watch us run around like headless chickens trying to find a new leader.
That would be hilarious.
Excellent suggestion, Joe.
Mike, your thoughts?
Can't hear you.
Muted.
Mike, you're muted.
Unmute.
You just click over on the left, Mike.
Yeah, I know.
Okay, now you can hear me.
Okay, two thoughts.
One is Joe was bringing up a point about the computer chips in Taiwan.
Taiwan makes about 90% of our laptops, and they have a lot of our chip possibilities.
I know because quite a few of my friends work at Dell down here in Austin, and they go to Taipei all the time.
The second part is the Sino-American Mutual Defense Treaty, formerly known as the Mutual Defense Treaty between the United States and the Republic of China.
It was a defense pact that was signed between the United States and the Republic of China, the ROC, and it was effective from 1955 to 1980.
In effect, until January 1st, 1980, that was one year after Jimmy Carter officially recognized China as not the Republic of China, but the official China.
Although the United States has a special moral obligation to protect China, many political people can use this as a way of not doing so.
For about the last 20 years, I've worked closely with educators in Taiwan, and I've met many students who have served in the military and are currently serving.
I've worked closely with these people and without a doubt, I've worked with a great that they are greatly appreciative of the United States and the U.S.
military.
They are counting on the U.S.
military to do the right thing with more than 7 million man army in China.
What can the Taiwanese do against the Chinese without the U.S.
help?
But why Nancy Pelosi and why now?
These might be good questions to ask here.
It's obvious that many observers that there are multiple reasons to do this.
Biden's down with the COVID, her strength in Congress.
They need Congress to declare a war.
The idea that even Nancy's on the wrong side of some of her own voters and nothing looks better to the electorate than a strong stance against the real enemy, whether it's true or not.
Good stuff.
Good stuff, Mike.
Yeah, very good.
Meanwhile, there's been a lot of attention to what could happen.
Here from Zero Hedge, five Chinese military response scenarios given she's visiting Taiwan.
She didn't include Taiwan on her official itinerary, which included Japan, South Korea, and Malaysia over security terms.
First speaker to visit Taiwan in 25 years.
A senior official in Beijing said the atmosphere of the Biden-Xi phone call was the worst among five talks between them.
Xi is said to have shown the toughest attitude he's ever shown to any world leader.
If, indeed, it's accurate, Xi got tough with Biden expressing Beijing's red line directly to the president, this is certainly a recipe for something big in terms of a major Chinese response.
One independent analyst in China, Taiwan Watcher, has laid out a full range of hypothetical, but nevertheless realistic scenarios, different levels of Chinese aggression and response.
Scenario one, the minimalist.
The PLA occupies Xiamen and Matsu Islands as well as Taiwan's in the South China Sea, and maybe the Penghu Islands.
They also declare part of all of the Taiwan Strait a no-go zone to the foreign military.
This would probably be fairly easy for them to do.
Taiwan would not want to overcommit to naval action against a huge PLA navy if it didn't directly approach the main island.
Scenario two, hybrid warfare.
Some sort of partial naval and aerial blockade intended to interfere with the economy, including stepped-up harassment such as direct flyovers over Taiwan's territory or inclusion into Taiwan's maritime space by China's navy, might also be accompanied by cyber attacks that shut down the internet and other infrastructures in Taiwan for days at a time.
Scenario three, a serious attack but no invasion.
Does it involve air and sea warfare, only no boots on the ground, a full aerial and naval blockade, a protracted set of naval and aerial battles designed to degrade Taiwan's military, combined with ballistic missile attacks on military targets, aggressive cyber attack turning off the internet, shutting down critical infrastructure for days or even weeks?
Once air and naval superiority were established, China could pick off targets at will, ratcheting up the threat until the government breaks.
Here you see the island, the Taiwan Straits, and all that.
We're in a highly precarious position attempting to defend an island the Chinese claim to be theirs when they're in close proximity, have no logistic problems, and we're Over 1,500 miles away.
Scenario four, the full Monty, a proper invasion.
Total air and sea blockade, massive ballistic missile attacks, massive cyber attacks, aggressive naval and aerial engagements, followed by sustained aerial assault by fighters and bombers on military targets.
A detapitation strike on Taipei by special forces to seize key leadership personnel.
Well-coordinated inside treason and sabotage ops by gangsters, planted CCP agents, and other groups sympathetic to China.
The so-called Fifth Column.
Scenario five, worst case, short of nuclear.
Full air and sea blockade, massive ballistic missile attack, massive cyber attack, aggressive naval and aerial attack, followed by aerial assault, fighters, bombings on military targets, and area bombing a civilian.
There are massive casualties.
Taiwan is crushed by brute force, surrenders, and the occupiers enter the country and take it for good.
Joe, your thoughts. - Yes, well, we have a whole lot more involvement with that.
We also had Nixon, who opened the door after 25 years of no diplomatic relations in 1972, and then baby Bush, right after 9-1-1, December 27, 2001.
Granted, China, most favored nation status, like, yeah, they'll never be an enemy of ours, so let's just go ahead and give them, you know, best trading relationships, but this Rift between the West and China goes back hundreds of years.
The Opium Wars actually started in 1760 when the East India Rothschild Company took over the opium production areas of Northern India and started shipping opium to China in an effort to regain all of the gold that China had been trading for a thousand years with the West for all of the perishables that the West just absolutely had to have like tea, spices, and silk.
And so China at that particular time had about 90% of the world's supply of gold, including most of what we've been able to loot out of the Western Hemisphere.
And so that's where the opium trade started.
And that was the major opium production and distribution network on the planet for the next 250 years.
Then in the end of the 30s, actually the British occupied 10 Chinese ports.
And the Chinese remember this stuff.
Uh, and then, uh, right before World War II started, Chiang Kai-shek was the leader in China and...
He was encouraged by the Americans because the Japanese had been attacking them, funded by the Rothschilds.
The Japanese had been attacking northern China, and he was afraid that they were going to take what was left of the Chinese gold.
So FDR managed to convince him to ship all of their gold with the USS Cruiser Houston to Fort Knox for safekeeping, and they never got it back.
And then when the war ended, 1945, the U.S., through John Dulles and Alan Dulles, funded Chairman Mao so that they could take over and make it a communist country.
So, you know, bottom line is the Chinese probably have a big aggrievance against us as anybody on the planet, and they have a long game plan.
So, you know, I wouldn't be the least bit disappointed if Pelosi's plane got shot down, but I don't think that's going to happen.
But by the same token, you know, we are not the country that we have been taught to believe our whole lives.
It's really shattering to find out the truth about so many things that have been hidden.
You said a mouthful there, Joe.
Mike?
Yeah, I really like your scenario four.
I could tell you from personal experience that many times they've been reported in the last weeks and months of flyovers by incursions by Chinese Air Force.
Uh, China today is saying that they're circling the whole island as a exercise, and they've already tried cyber attacks in Taipei this morning.
And when Nancy touched down and got pictures all over the news about her touching down early in the morning, their time, uh, you know, early in the morning, our time.
night their time and uh I really think that the uh that might be a conventional attack might be what they were looking at now with something that you may learn here today and I never knew this until probably about five six months or maybe a year ago actually there's part of Taiwan on mainland China there's a little sliver of Taiwan a little enclave uh uh that they have a school they have a city and everything else as part of Taiwan.
It would be very easy for China to uh surround that area take that over and technically speaking they would have uh secured the province a part of the province of Taiwan and held them hostage.
So there's a lot to be said because a lot of times we just think of Taiwan being an island or several islands but there is a part of uh it on the mainland China as well.
Very, very nice points, Mike.
Very good.
Meanwhile, indications China's military might respond to the Pelosi trip.
Kirby, escalation in Taiwan Strait serves no one's interests.
U.S.
will ensure Pelosi's safety.
White House says we will not take the bait, nor will we be intimidated.
Here we have Kaitlan Johnson tweeting, Russia, Don't cross our red lines in Ukraine or we'll take action.
U.S.
politicians, they're bluffing.
Cross those red lines.
Outcome?
Russia invades China.
Don't cross our red lines in Taiwan or we'll take action.
U.S.
politicians, they're bluffing.
Cross those red lines.
Outcome?
To be determined.
Nothing has changed.
No drama.
Not without precedent for the Speaker to visit Taiwan.
Nothing about this potential business, which has precedent with change, the status quo.
Global Times tweets.
And China's retaliation will not just target Pelosi.
The Biden admin will also have to face the serious consequences of a comprehensive setback of China-U.S.
relations.
Meanwhile, the FT is out with some further fresh details.
Biden dispatched senior officials, including National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan, to lay out the risk to Pelosi, but she had decided to press ahead, perhaps precisely because, as Joe observed, she and her husband have big bucks to make here.
The vast majority of breathless Western media reports about her now imminent visit are being sourced to Taiwanese media official.
Among the outlets, the race seems to be to produce more and more specific detailed predictions.
At the same time, the Wall Street Journal is reporting she's definitely coming.
People whom she's planning to meet have been informed of her imminent arrival.
She's definitely coming.
The only variable is whether she spends the night in Taipei, which appears to be what's going to happen.
Meanwhile, Bloomberg News?
Yep, Pelosi herself, not to mention the White House, could likely be very much on the fence.
Well, no fence sitting.
She's already there.
Global Times tweets, The Chinese army will surely eliminate policy visit consequences due to the escalation of military operation.
As a result, this will make her dejected and humiliated.
China has also announced closure of waters in the South China Sea.
Global Times tweets, The Maritime Administration in Queensland, South China's Hainan, issued a warning On Monday, prohibiting entry to the area in the South China Sea to the military exercises Tuesday through Saturday.
Here's the USS Ronald Reagan Carrier Strike Group patrolling waters near Taiwan.
Possible location of Ronald Reagan on August 1st and its entire track being tweeted.
See new characteristics of U.S.
carrier activity, increasing frequency, more rapidness, and regularity, especially integrated into the entire military system.
On the strike group's ship movements, the USS Tripoli amphibious assault ship is also headed for Taiwan, or so we are told.
Joe?
Yes, well wouldn't it be tremendous if they just forced her plane to land and then they do what they did with criminals down in Singapore.
Caning is a widely used form of corporal punishment in Singapore.
It can be divided into several contents.
Judicial prison, reformatory, military school.
Yeah, go to Wikipedia and read about caning.
That'd be nice if they just tied her up and beat her for a while and then gave her back to us.
Because that woman is a sick one.
She really is.
They may have to work their way around her diapers and colostomy bag.
It wouldn't surprise me if she were equipped with both.
Mike, your thoughts?
Yeah, I think that thinking about shooting her down since she's already on the ground would be kind of weird.
And I don't think they'd probably shoot her as she left either.
More than likely what will end up happening is some sort of attack within a week or so like that or an extended like we did during the Cuban Missile Crisis of trying to have a blockade around Cuba.
That could be sustainable by the Chinese.
And then I said before, the enclave that was already on the Chinese mainland could be easily encircled and used as held hostage.
We're in a very untenable situation.
I think this is political theatrics, and it may really backfire.
Although you get some good publicity right now, if something happens in the next couple of weeks, the Biden administration will look really very, very bad.
I do agree completely.
And while she is there, there's been a real split here, it appears, where General Berger, a Marine Corps general, is to China.
Shoot her down!
He offered a blunt message in response to China's threat to intercept and shoot down her plane if it enters Taiwanese airspace.
A source familiar said General Berger delivered the message to his PRC counterpart, General Fang Changlong, during a Saturday evening call where Changlong implored him to thwart her overseas visit.
He said the Chinese state media threat to obliterate any plane carrying Pelosi was not hyperbole.
We don't control her.
She's a traitor.
You want to shoot her down?
Then shoot her down, General Berger reportedly said.
If you don't want her there, call the State Department, not me.
But both Xi Jinping and senior PLA officials had already held grueling, unproductive talks with the criminal Biden regime, whose ambiguous messaging only sows public confusion on how it feels about Pelosi's potential trip.
Senior members of the Biden cabal discouraged a Taipei shopover.
However, the National Security Coordinator, John Kirby, said the Biden admin will support her.
In response, a Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman, Zhe Lijian, said, We are standing by.
Pelosi's presence in Taiwan could be considered an act of war, and that, White Hats believe, might be the regime's ultimate goal historically.
War benefits unpopular presidents, at least in the short run.
When George H.W.
Bush launched a Gulf War, ostensibly to repel Iraq from Kuwait, he saw an immediate, though short-lived, bump in popularity.
His son W's prestige spiked briefly following the invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan.
Clinton bills watched Operation to Capture and Kill Mohamed Farah Aden helped his precipitously declined poll numbers early in his presidency.
Likewise, Obama's unlawful quest to overthrow Muammar Gaddafi received public acclaim.
Tragic, because he was a great humanitarian.
I'm talking about Gaddafi, not Obama, who's something like the opposite.
In all cases, the so-called president experienced an ephemeral 10 to 25 point nonpartisan booze.
The conclusion seems clear.
Citizens rally behind leaders in times of conflict.
The Biden regime is hoping a historical president holds fast.
Biden or his doppelgangers, poll numbers have dropped sharply every day since his stolen 2020 election.
He is the most detested leader, albeit a fake one, in the history of the United States.
Sanders might be hoping that war, which typically bolsters a failing economy, might turn the tide in the Democrats' favor.
General Berger and his council have given this serious thought.
If the Deep State is seeking to ignite global conflict, it's taking a huge risk.
The Deep State has no access to other nuclear launch cores, but it does have the ability, the smart of enough traitorous military commanders, to start a conventional war.
We have no way to know if China would stick to conventional.
We have a duty to defend this country, meaning if we're launched on, we'd have to retaliate.
God hope it doesn't come to that.
Imagine a nuclear war over Nancy Pelosi.
How effing crazy is that?
The general hates her passionately, and for good reason.
Pelosi and Berger are not exactly strangers.
Their animosity is legendary.
In January 2021, just before Biden was illegally sworn in, Pelosi demanded a burger that is marine safeguard Biden's inauguration, to which the general replied, we don't work for you.
Subsequently, White Hats in May of 2021 sought to arrest Pelosi on charges of treason, but they caught an imposter wearing a Nancy Pelosi mask.
White House, in fact, suspect the real Pelosi is either holed up at a hotel or sheltered in a deep state bunker while her body doubled towards East Asia.
For whatever reason, a deep state loves her, feels she's important to their goals.
Extremely unlikely they'd risk her.
We know she has several body doubles.
It's more probable than not one of them is performing her diplomatic duties.
The Taiwanese government isn't familiar enough with her to tell the difference.
Joe, your thoughts?
Yeah, well we thought Invasion of the Body Snatchers was just a horror story and now we find out that they're body snatching little babies and harvesting their organs and then we've got fake people walking around with rubber masks on playing to be our leaders.
It's a pretty dystopic reality and it's worse than any horror show that you ever saw growing up if you happen to be into that genre.
I particularly am not.
I saw a couple of them and I went, man, this is not for me.
So if it was ever billed as a horror story, I never did go see it.
So yeah, couldn't happen to a nicer, nicer witch, man.
I wish somebody would drop a house on her, but we are where we are.
Mike, your thoughts?
Yeah, it really kind of reminds me back in 1963 when you're talking about the coup d'etat with President Kennedy and Johnson being tied to the military-industrial complex and completely flipping-flopping over Vietnam and making it into a conventional war.
And then general dynamics went from about being almost totally bankrupt to being one to financial solvency.
Somebody is obviously controlling some of these things to try to make either the Ukraine or China to be out to be a large conventional war in which they will end up reaping tremendous funds vis-a-vis like Pfizer and Moderna's made up with this COVID that you're about to talk to in a little bit.
It doesn't take too much of a thing.
I guess it's Edward Bernaysi who was saying about, you know, we fought the war.
He was one that wrote the famous phrase of Woodrow Wilson, that we fought World War I to keep the world safe for democracy.
Even though we're not a democracy and we didn't keep the world safe, you know, if you say something long enough and loud enough, people are going to believe it.
And I think that's what Joe was saying earlier.
We're believing a very bad story here.
I think you got that exactly right, Mike.
Meanwhile...
We'll be right back.
We know there were two rhino traders who were on the January 6th committee.
Lint Cheney, who's doing very, very badly in Wyoming, and his career is about to be extinguished.
And this guy, Adam Kinzinger from Illinois, who goes from laughing to crying during a January 6th committee hearing.
Democracies are not defined by our bad days.
We're defined by how we come back from bad days.
check this out.
Thank you to my colleagues on the committee.
Ogie Fuses.
Thank you, Mr. Chairman.
And thank you to my colleagues on the committee.
Thank you to our witnesses.
I never expected today to be quite as emotional for me as it has been.
I've talked to a number of you and gotten to know you.
I think it's important to tell you right now, though, you guys may like individually feel a little broken.
You guys all talk about the effects you have to deal with and, you know, you talk about the impact of that day.
But you guys won.
I don't laugh at people for crying.
I'm not laughing at him for crying.
You know, democracies are not defined by our bad days.
He's pulling the Bill Clinton.
We're defined by how we come back from bad days.
How we take accountability for that.
And for all the overheated rhetoric surrounding this committee, our mission is very simple.
It's to find the truth, and it's to ensure accountability.
Like most Americans, I'm frustrated that six months after a deadly insurrection breached the United... Oh, oh, I wanted to hear the rest of it.
I want to hear the rest of the deadly insurrection that breached the United States Capitol.
Deadly because police officers shot Ashley Babbitt.
Deadly because apparently they used concussive grenades near one Roseanne Boyland, which might have led to her medical emergency.
You know what's amazing, everybody?
I didn't actually fully appreciate this.
When they talk about medical emergencies, and there were six people who died of medical emergencies that day, you know, let's assume that there were 100,000 people there.
There might have been more, there might have been less.
It doesn't even matter.
There's a lot of people there.
On any given day, out of 100,000 people, people are going to have medical emergencies.
Fine.
So when I hear that a number of people died of medical emergencies, until I attended the Ottawa protest and was within earshot, pun intended, of a concussive grenade, I didn't put together that medical emergencies can be induced by police activity, by pepper spray, by rioters activity as well.
Never put it together that the medical emergencies that led to many people, many, six to eight people dying on that day, whether or not it's a statistical, a question of statistics of 100,000 people on any given day, there will be people who will have heart attacks, whatever.
Never occurred to me until attending the Ottawa protest that some medical emergencies can be triggered by external events, heart attacks, arrhythmia, strokes, Could be in theory, you know, triggered by concussive grenades, by pepper spray.
And now I do question of the medical emergencies of the day of January 6th, how many were induced medical emergencies from flashbangs, tear gas, whatever.
Okay.
Let's, setting all that aside, I'm gonna bring this back because we have to, by the way, this is the other half of the bipartisan January 6th committee.
It's laughable.
It's laughable in its preposterousness.
It's laughable.
First of all, he goes from laughing to trying to squeeze a tear out of his dry, disingenuous tear duct.
It's like trying to squeeze water from a rock.
Jesus.
Thank you, Mr. Chairman.
And by the way, I don't judge necessarily going from laughing to crying under certain situations of trauma.
It can make sense.
But listen.
And thank you to my colleagues on the committee.
Make yourself cry.
Thank you to our witnesses.
I never expected a day to be quite as emotional for me as it has been.
I've talked to a number of you and gotten to know you.
I think it's important to tell you right now, though, You guys may individually feel a little broken.
As a parent, by the way, this is called planting the seed.
This is called when a kid bumps his head and you go, ooh, are you okay?
You plant the seed that the kid's not okay so that you get the reaction out of the kid that you're ostensibly trying to avoid.
Kinzinger is planting one heck of a seed here.
It's not to be demeaning or downplay police stress.
January 6th was a violent protest.
That's the extent that I'll qualify it as.
To say that that day should have broken any police officer, with the exception of those who were actually seriously injured, To suggest that that should break an individual as though it was a 9/11 where you see your brethren climbing the flights of stairs to rescue people and then you see that building collapse.
To even equate it to that and to say that anything that occurred of those violent rowdy protesters who broke windows, shoved cops, did use pepper spray, that any police officer should be broken from that.
Kinzinger, You are infantilizing the police force so that you can get them to get up there and solve in front of your bipartisan committee so that you can make this day out into something that it never was.
I don't make fun of people for crying.
I make fun of people for being disingenuous phonies.
And here, Kinzinger is a big fat phony.
Cue the Peter Griffin.
You guys all talk about the effects you have to deal with.
We've probably seen enough, but Kinzinger is a fraud, and I think the points he was making are very telling, and actually the January 6th hoax appears to be coming apart at the seams.
Joe, your thoughts in response?
Yeah, a lot of hoaxes are coming apart.
Viva Frey also does a lot of stuff with Robert Barnes, and I'll get to that in just a second, but I was eyewitness to two different police riots which could not be described anything other than police riots.
One was here in Houston at a park over on the east side.
Where all of a sudden about 300 cops came running through with absolute machine guns.
I mean, they were carrying Thompsons and shotguns and gas masks and firing tear gas everywhere.
And then I was at a Jethro Tull concert in the early 70s.
I think it was like 70 or 71 at Red Rocks Amphitheater out And a bunch of people were supposedly crashing the gate, so they brought in 300 riot cops and tear gassed and maced the whole entire place, beat people.
I mean, just beat them bloody with clubs.
People that were just sitting there on a blanket playing a flute and the cop would just come up and smash his head like a pumpkin.
And it was really brutal to watch.
And then the police just got in their vans and drove away and said, well, it's a free concert.
Anybody can come in if they want to.
So, you know, I've had eyewitness to that.
But interestingly enough, there's a great Robert Barnes segment today that was at Info Wars when he was guest hosting.
And he's talking about the inability to have a defense in the Alex Jones Sandy Hook case.
And I will send it to you.
I will also timestamp when the portion is that he's talking about that because he talks about A lot of different things.
It's about an hour-long segment, but I think you'll find the stuff that he talks about about Sandy Hook very relevant, so.
Excellent, Joe.
Yeah, please do send it.
Mike, your thoughts?
Yeah, that whole idea of this insurrection is really crazy.
I've been up here in Minneapolis since Monday and I hadn't been in Minneapolis for 50 years, so I could tell you a little bit.
We get off the train, some of our first impressions here are, oh my gosh, what has happened to this city?
You know, downtown is kind of vacant.
I talked to several merchants and stuff.
They're leaving Downtown not very many people working there's no shopping downtown anymore it's just basically sports arenas and warehouse type districts and people walking around are basically panhandling and and on drugs or something that effect.
This is what's really happening to America.
It's not this alleged insurrection.
We are actually changing many of our central cities into this hopelessness.
Maybe all this zombie apocalypse and then stuff like that.
People walking around literally as zombies, so on drugs they had no idea what to do.
Metro Transit Police come on our train and kick a couple people off because they just ride the train around all day.
You know, a fake insurrection versus the crumbling of our central cities happening all over America.
I think we need to wake up because we're looking at the wrong things.
There should be a select committee looking into what's happening in our decay of our own cities.
Instead of this imagined deal, it's going on and he could really cry.
Somebody would just come here.
I know Jim, you maybe come to Minneapolis when you lived in Duluth.
You know, Minneapolis used to be a very vibrant city and today it's just a shadow of what it was.
And I think that's that's what happens when you have liberalism gone amok.
You know, we're here in Minnesota, but Minnesota is a copy of what California was.
You know, 3040 years ago you go to California and today it's it's really horrible.
I think you're investigating the wrong thing.
Those are very telling points.
Yes, the woke ideology has transformed America in areas controlled by the Democrats.
They not only want to defund the police, but they tolerate Riots, looting, arson, even death.
They're very tolerant if it's politically going to promote their interests, and it's devastating to the local economies and turning many of our major cities into ghost towns.
Those are very astute observations.
Very, very good.
Meanwhile, Biden catches a rebound case of COVID, strict isolation reinstated.
The White House physician Kevin O'Connor explained there's always potential for a small percentage of patients treated with Paxlivid to have it nevertheless.
According to the officials, he's fully vaxxed, has had two recommended boosters, he ought to be dead.
After the negative test Tuesday evening, the test cadence was elevated to protect Biden and those around him.
An antigen test returned positive Saturday morning.
It followed several negative results.
The new test showed rebound positivity.
O'Connor said the White House is reinstating strict isolation procedures against any return of viral replication.
Since negative for COVID last Tuesday, again on Wednesday, he's been to several events en masse.
He also hosted a roundtable on the economy on Thursday.
That came as the government announced the nation's economy has contracted for the second consecutive quarter, a positive sign of recession.
Biden's 79 won't immediately restart treatment.
He's doing well.
Not showing the previous symptoms, we are being told.
But he's isolated and will continue working.
The President pledged that I'll be back on the road soon.
His age puts him at a particular risk for severe illness from COVID.
The CDC reported over a million Americans have died from coronavirus infections, 81% of whom Or over the age of 65, making a busy time for the admin even more difficult.
Several senators have also returned positive tests.
Last week, reconciliation package on climate change, health care reform, tax increase, and the deficit could be delayed with a congressional output.
But in fact, Joe Manchin folded for reasons I do not begin to understand.
And they're moving forward.
Whether it will be approved in the Senate still remains an open question.
Governor Newsom, Gruesome Newsom, is trying to project himself as a national figure and I believe is very likely to be selected by the Democrats to lead them.
There's one scenario under which they remove Kamala because she's not qualified by virtue of not being a natural born American citizen.
They replace with Newsom, then they take out Biden and Newsom moves up.
Some speculate even before the November midterms.
A part of the state's ongoing response to monkeypox, Newsom declared a state emergency to booster the state's vaccination effort.
California is working across all levels of government to slow the spread of monkeypox, leveraging our robust testing, contact tracing, and community partnership.
Monkeypox, by the way, is primarily a gay disease among men and appears to be related to anal sex.
Last month, California's public health leader urged federal partners to make more vax doses available as quickly as possible.
The state has already allocated more than 25,000 doses.
Additional allocations are coming.
As of July 28, the state had expanded its testing capacity to process more than 1,000 tests a week.
They're also expanding treatment options where they have the antiviral prescription drug tecovermax, TPOXX, used to treat monkeypox, limited, but can be administered at more than 30 facilities across the state.
Which continues to outreach and educate informing Californians about monkeypox and how to limit its spread.
The California Department of Public Health is also scheduling listening lessons with the LGBTQ community, paying paid ads on various digital media to promote awareness.
And I say, well, if you want to avoid monkeypox, just Give up ain't no sex, Joe.
Yeah, just don't play with the monkeys.
That's all you gotta do.
Yeah, Fauci's complaining that Americans, after spending two years of forced vaccination, mask mandates, that now all of a sudden we're complaining.
Oh, he's complaining that there's too much misinformation and Americans won't adhere to authority.
So it's like, Yeah, he's on the Katie Couric Show telling us how bad little people we are because we won't listen to our little midget dwarf gnome, Dr. Mingla.
Yeah, I'm done with that guy and I'm done with all of their little health requirements.
So, good luck trying to find some more victims for your jabs.
We're pretty much past that point of reality at this time.
Yeah, it's as though we couldn't learn from experience.
Mike, your thoughts?
Yeah, that's really kind of interesting about the second COVID.
My daughter recently about two weeks ago developed the same thing, and 10 people in their office had COVID.
And then I think seven of the people that took that same medicine developed a rebound reaction again.
So, this is something that is going around and how do you trust the doctors or how do you trust medicine if it gets you sick again?
This doesn't even make sense.
So, I think it goes to your theory about the idea of COVID in the first place.
We may need to relook a lot of things that we think of.
When you look at Wikipedia to define recession and then go the night and they change it, And you look at Wikipedia and they change the idea of vaccine, and then you look at the CDC and they change the idea of vaccine.
We're living in a time where definitions don't really mean anything.
If words don't mean anything, we're in trouble.
We are in trouble.
You're absolutely right, Mike.
No doubt about it.
Yes.
And promoting the vaccine, I think the American people are pretty much sick of all this happy horseshit.
I think Joe's got it right.
Meanwhile, Louisiana ban on men and women's sports goes into full effect today.
That would be yesterday.
Men identified as women, boys identified as girls can no longer participate in women's sports in the state of Louisiana.
I am delighted!
The Republican Fairness in Women's Sports Act is now in effect.
Louisiana was the 18th state to enact such a ban, in addition to ensuring advantages correlated with biological sex could not be exploited for an unfair advantage.
The act provides schools immunity from adverse action, which is to say, grievance lawsuits brought by gays and lesbians.
This particular act first became law June 6, without Governor John Bel Edwards' signature, while the bill represented a victory for women outside the stadium in national competitions the wind may not carry.
Among the governing bodies the NCAA defers to on the matter of transgender participation in women's sports is the International Olympic Committee, which no longer requires male athletes to undergo procedures or treatment to qualify as their assumed gender, maybe by just taking a look.
New Zealand's Laurel Hubbard, for instance, was permitted to compete during the women's weightlifting competition at the Tokyo Olympics.
The Board of Governors at the NCAA updated its policies earlier, indicating transgender participation for each sport will be determined by the policy for the national governing body of that sport.
The chair of the board, John DeGoria, emphasized NCA is steadfast in our support of transgender student-athletes and the fostering of fairness across college sports.
But how can you have fairness if men who have obvious biological, physiological advantages are allowed to compete with women who have no chance?
How is that ensuring fairness?
It's not just the governing bodies that stand to render women's sports co-ed.
Democrat-controlled states like Michigan are codifying the language of sexual orientation and gender identity into civil rights laws.
Even where they've been passed, there is federal pushback.
A federal judge blocked the Indianapolis public schools, for example, from prohibiting boys from participating in Girls 4.
Yeah, that's a pretty disgusting turn of events.
in the Supreme Court's ruling in Bostock v. Clayton County.
Embarrassingly bad, Joe.
The Democrats have completely lost their way.
Your thoughts?
Yeah, that's a pretty disgusting turn of events.
You know, as somebody with daughters and granddaughters, it's really heartbreaking to find that they now live in a country where equal doesn't mean equal because equal is divided into two genders that are actually not equal in everything.
So, you know, it's depressing that this is the reality we're stuck with.
You're not going to Pray, vote, or obey your way out of tyranny, and we're absolutely 100% in tyranny at this point, but if there's a chance of voting your way out, and you get this message in time to do something about it, there are primaries today in Arizona, Michigan, Kansas, Missouri, and Washington, where you could possibly vote out some of these snakes that believe some of these toxic ideas.
So I just got a chat message from Michael saying he had to No, I know, Joe.
Yeah, Mike had to vacate the Capitol.
I think it's completely outrageous.
Ordinary Americans don't buy any of this happy horse shit.
They understand there are two sexes and two sexes only.
It's Democrat propaganda.
Well, because of the Alex Jones trial, where my name would be frequently mentioned, they made an effort to seize my blog.
This individual seeking to figure out what James Fetzer had to say about Sandy Hook should find a vast repository of information there.
I have therefore created a new blog at jameshfetzer.org.
You can go there and you can find what you're looking for.
If you go to James Fetzer, you're directed to the Wisconsin Circuit Court Access.
Those who read my motions, my motions to stay, my motion for reconsideration are going to see how much of this is complete and utter nonsense, the abuse of the law, in order to weaponize against those of us who are seeking to expose the truth.
Here we have, from my Wikipedia entry, just the way in which they can mangle my position to smear me.
Look at, Fetzer asserts no commercial planes or hijackers were involved at any of the attack locations, that Flight 93 did not exist, and that guided missiles and or explosives were instead used to destroy the buildings and create the appearance of a plane crash in Shanksville, Pennsylvania.
Here's what I actually say.
All four of the 9-11 crash sites were fabricated or faked, albeit in different ways.
Two of the planes, 11 and 77, were not even in the air that day.
The other two, 93 and 175, did not crash, but were still flying four years later, for which I have a mass of evidence.
It's so easy to misrepresent someone on a complex subject, and Wikipedia is a master thereof.
The Twin Towers were taken out using nuclear devices, but again, not easy to sort out.
If you want to know my actual views, check out my 9-11 special in memory of Robert David Steele, and you'll see how grossly I'm being misrepresented.
Well, I don't expect you to have the time or any reason why these propaganda efforts are so effective.
They even fooled you.
This is written to me by a friend.
So here I made the correction to make it accurate, but of course they promptly reverted to the original.
Meanwhile, if you actually look at the books I have published that they cite in Area Conspiracy Theory, they talk about my work on JFK and one book on the 9-11 conspiracy, but look at all the books they don't include.
Sandy Hook, The Boston Bombing, Orlando and Dallas, Charlottesville, Parkland, even On the Moon Landing, none of those books are cited.
This is just a massive suppression of information.
Joe, your thoughts?
Yes, well, as far as 9-1-1, Jim and I are some of the best two scholars that there are on the nuclear vaporization in the World Trade Center building, and we did a little discussion yesterday with a guy who believes that there's no such thing as a nuclear weapon, and that's up at BitChute.
It had pretty good viewership so far, so if you want to know some of the more intricate details about nuclear weapons, that would be a good little program to watch.
And then I had mentioned the Robert Barnes thing, which has a clip with you and the Alex Jones case on Sandy Hook.
It's actually at Brighteon, and here's the actual title.
Attorney Exposes the Weaponization of the Justice System to Serve the Political Agenda of the Left.
And what Barnes says is that this started with a group in the FBI called PATCO, which is short for Patriot Conspiracy, and it operated between 1991 and 1993.
There were three undercover FBI agents that went out and tried to infiltrate Patriot movements, including the Veterans Aryan Movement and the Texas Light Infantry, along with several others.
And then 93 happens to be the year that they did the Branch Davidian, where they tried to demonize white Christians by stage setting a raid.
And amazingly enough, of the FTA, ATF agents that were killed that day, all of them had been former Clinton bodyguards and all of them were killed by friendly fire.
They were all shot in the back by the feds that were on the Clinton team.
And so that's 1993.
Then we also have as a direct result of that, the OKC bombing, which was blamed on white supremacist patriots.
And then, you know, the list just goes on and on.
So, yeah, I think you're going to enjoy that information about the weaponized lawfare.
In particular, he goes into all of the different constitutional violations that the Texas Kangaroo Court in Travis County has pulled against Alex Jones.
It's absolutely staggering.
So, he said that early on in the case, the judge had made Statements about not allowing a jury trial and blah, blah, blah.
And that Jones had immediately appealed it to the state Supreme Court and the state Supreme Court said that they weren't going to look at it.
But now the list of absolute constitutional violations by the quote judicial process in Travis County are just absolutely staggering.
There is no doubt that this case is going to be taken to the state Supreme Court and overturned there.
And it could be that somewhere along the way they're allowed to introduce evidence that was used in your case and are submitted in your case and not allowed to be used in your case.
So bottom line is there's going to be a lot more public exposure of what happened at Sandy Hook and that's just one of the other little threads that we just keep pulling on and eventually we're going to unravel all this stuff and eventually the emperor is not going to have any clothes.
Joe, I think you got it exactly right.
Meanwhile, we want to hear from you.
Send fan mail to proacon to liveneedtoknowatgmail.com.
Live needtoknowatgmail.com.
Bear in mind, Will rides.
I wrote in response of Will.
To understand the Alex Jones trial, read these two blogs, share far and wide.
The First and Second Amendments are at stake.
Alex Jones calls out murder of due process at Sandy Hook show trial, on my blog at jameshfetzer.org, and I meant this to be general.
to testify against Alex Jones at A Culture of Lies with analysis, also at jameshfetzer.org.
Check out the links and you'll understand what's going on.
I meant this to be general.
Will responded as though I meant it specifically for him.
Jim, I'm quite familiar with what's going on with that show trial.
I followed what I could find on 153 News.
There's nothing sequential, just bits and pieces, no continuity, at least in what I found so far.
I have no doubt it's a show trial.
I even doubt it's a real courtroom.
It just does not feel like it's an actual court.
Would a plaintiff's attorney allow a paid witness to get on the stand and admit she was a white supremacist?
Would a defense attorney flip the plaintiff's attorney the bird?
How professional is that?
It makes no sense unless it's done purposefully out of an agenda and drama.
AJ knows it's a show trial, and I can see no way he can be a participant and not be in on it.
He would have to know.
And then we have a judge saying AJ is guilty, which of course a jury knows, but why would she say that except for drama and or to prejudice a jury to settle on a larger figure?
We're watching a circus, not a real trial.
Just my opinion, obviously.
It's difficult to make an informed judgment based on bits and pieces.
And yes, I realize that First and Second Amendments are at stake, more so the first in this trial as in yours, since if a journalist cannot express an opinion without fear of defamation, who can?
It's more than apparent these trials are being used as a fear factor to discourage others from seeking and expressing the truth.
And as a few callers on your Raw Deal have expressed many times, the government will never admit fault or collusion.
Never.
Meanwhile, check this out.
When I die, don't let me vote Democrat.
Nice.
Meanwhile, remember, my petition is on the docket of the Supreme Court, where I originally believed it was a First and Second Amendment case.
The summary judgment protocols in Wisconsin allowed the judge to decide whether or not my facts were reasonable and exclude them if, in his subjective opinion, they were not.
As you will see from my petition, which you can download to your own desktop, the Court of Appeals, Fourth District, and the Wisconsin Supreme Court agree.
In other states, such as Texas, however, the case against me would have been tossed or else sent to a jury for determination of the disputed facts.
But in Wisconsin, the court could, in effect, determine the facts, regardless of my evidence.
It turns out this is a national problem, and I've teed up the case for SCOTUS to make summary judgment protocols uniform throughout the nation.
I believe they are going to do just that and set things right.
In fact, I'm already moved to the conference level on September 28, 2022.
Notice right here.
Distributed for conference.
28 September 2022.
And if you go through all the stages, I'm already here.
conference, 28 September 2022.
And if you go through all the stages, I'm already here.
I am already here.
I am very close to being before the United States Supreme Court.
And I believe they're going to find the case irresistible.
It really does tee up the summary judgment problem in the United States and provides them an opportunity to set it right.
Remember, 1% control the world, 4% are their puppets, 90% are asleep.
5% know and try to wake the 90%.
The 1% use the 4% to prevent the 5% from waking up, the 90%.
Final thoughts, Joe, yours.
Yeah, well, the theater is worldwide, man.
The CIA claims to have killed Aman al-Zawahiri in Kabul with a drone strike on a balcony.
And, you know, in completely Taliban controlled territory, just so that we could get some kind of headline about what a great leader FJB has been because he was able to take out Osama bin Laden's ghost.
It's like, give me a freaking break.
And then we also have the problem of the war that they're trying to start over in Ukraine.
And now it turns out there's like zero gas going to Germany and in particular, but most of Europe in general.
And The problem is that we had a couple of compressors.
One of them was sent over to Canada for repairs, a Siemens compressor, and it was held for two months because of sanctions.
They wouldn't return it.
And then finally they said, well, we'll return it to Germany and let Germany break the sanctions by giving it back to Russia.
Well, when they gave it back, it wasn't working properly.
And now another one has gone offline.
So there's virtually no gas going into Europe at this particular point.
But the spokesman for the Russians said that you might want to talk to Mr. Zayolinsky because our metering at the Sudha's, S-U-D-Z-H-A, metering station
Shows that we're shipping 41.7 million cubic meters into Ukraine every day and the meter on the other side of Ukraine which goes to the S-O-H-R-A-N-O-V-K-A
Germany shows zero gas going so bottom line is our little wonderful favorite dictator in Ukraine is siphoning off 100% of the gas that should be going to Europe and you know just driving up the cost for the Europeans of being involved in supporting this tiny little dictator.
Great points, Joe.
You and Mike, who could not stay for the duration, have done a wonderful job today.
I'm very, very pleased.
Germany and all of Europe have committed a colossal blunder.
The sanctions are backfiring.
The ruble is getting the strongest currency in the world.
BRICS is thriving.
The United States and petrodollar are falling.
The ramifications for our future, for the quality of life in America, are going to be devastating.
You will notice a difference.
And I believe just as the West's effort to sanction Russia have backfired, I believe the efforts to sanction me and other truth-tellers about Sandy Hook are likewise going to backfire.
Beforeitsnews.com just published my greatest hits about false flags and conspiracies, really stunning development.
I've now blogged it at jameshfetzer.org.
This is one you don't want to miss.
After trashing me during the trial where one friend said my name is coming up about every 15 minutes and not in a positive or flattering way, once you see what I've exposed about Sandy Hook in collaboration with other experts, The public is going to be blown away.
The whole charade is going to be exposed, and it will have been brought upon themselves by the American government, who was behind the event at Sandy Hook.
It was, remember, a FEMA drill presented as mass murder to promote gun control.
The brainchild of Barack Obama, Joe Biden, and Eric Holder Who even went to Connecticut to work out the arrangements with the governor to let him know what they were about to do.
It's an outrage, but I believe truth will prevail, just as my suit before the Supreme Court, I believe, will work out to the benefit not only of me personally, but all the residents of Wisconsin, and make uniform summary judgment across the entirety of the United States.
