And welcome back, folks, to Truth vs. News Incorporated.
This is July 17, 2022.
Hot summertime, hot news time, and boy, this is going to be a hot hour, I tell you.
Jim's got it lined up, and I've seen it, and you're going to want to pay attention.
So go ahead, Jim.
How about the Bidens take over in elections?
Well, thanks.
Thanks, Don.
Meanwhile, Muriel Hemingway reports Biden's takeover of elections is unconstitutional, unethical, and will cause chaos.
This is the editor-in-chief, Molly Hemingway, of The Federalist, which is an excellent publication, where Biden's issued an executive order telling all 600 federal agencies to submit plans about how they could engage in a federal takeover of the election.
This is shocking.
Check it out. - No good reason.
Molly Hemingway almost alone has been looking into this.
She's the editor in chief of "The Federalist," also author of the book "Rigged: How the Media, Big Tech, and the Democrats Seized Our Elections," which they have.
She joins us tonight.
Molly, you wrote a great piece in this, which I hope that our audience will read, but summarize for us, if you would, what this is about.
What's going on? - Yeah, so just as you said, President Biden issued an executive order telling all 600 federal agencies to submit plans about how they could engage in a federal takeover of elections.
You might remember that when Democrats took control of the Senate and the White House, their signature legislation was a federal takeover of election administration.
Now, they failed to do that.
This appears to be something of a backup plan where they can get involved in all sorts of election-related activities using the bureaucracy.
And there are so many problems with this.
I mean, first and foremost, it's unconstitutional.
The Constitution is very clear that it is given to state legislatures to handle election administration in their states.
It's also really unethical.
I mean, you noted that people are desperately trying to find out exactly what these plans are and they're not being given details, but details are starting to come out.
And it appears that at that point where government benefits meet with the people, they are taking advantage of that opportunity.
you know, whether it's a homeless shelter or whether it's food distribution programs or health programs as a way to do this federal overtaking of election administration.
And it also is a recipe for chaos and confusion.
It you know, each state has different laws.
And the idea that federal bureaucrats who don't even necessarily do a great job with what they're supposed to be doing could manage all those intricacies is, you know, it's delusional.
And it's just a very disruptive thing to our system at a time when the entire country needs to have confidence and belief that the elections are secure.
Yeah.
the same of equity.
They screamed racism louder.
Elderly white people screamed about racism until they were allowed to control our elections and Republicans came.
Same story every time.
And I appreciate your covering this almost alone.
Well, I would have been glad to have more, but she's alerting us to a threat there.
Scott, your thoughts?
Well, she's right.
Look, we've seen the senior executive service when I was back in Washington, D.C., coordinating Zoom calls and actively calling for and planning insurrection.
That's a seditious conspiracy.
That's an act of treason.
These are senior executive employees of the federal government that were planning a coup d'etat and all sorts of protestations against President Trump to remove him, to clog D.C.
These same senior executive services are now being tapped by Biden to do a federal takeover of the elections.
There's nothing ethical about Democrats, their identity or their political script.
They are all about power and by any means necessary.
And the one failure is Democrats play dirty, but when it comes to a fight, conservatives who've never been pushed to this level, when you push the needle past their ability to endure, the Republican, conservative, traditional family values individuals will go into war mode, and I think you're going to have a lot of bloodshed, and the Democrats are going to lose.
So, you know, they're thinking that they can pull the wool over people's eyes, they can jump and scream and intimidate conservatives into submission.
I think the opposite of true.
They're going to engage in criminal behavior that is going to
End what we once knew as the American Republic and set in motion a new rise of, as I've said before, an archipelago of conservative states, conservative republics, conservative sovereign nations that no longer recognize the federal government as having any authority other than symbolic, and they are going to prevent and outlaw any federal agencies from executing the tyrannical fascistic policies of a democrat-centered presidency.
Jim?
David, this is pretty blatant right there in front of God and everybody.
Your thoughts?
Yeah, who cares if it's ethical?
I think what Scott said is right.
In war, in love and war, all things are fair.
You know, the problem that we've had in America is we've seen a dissolution, a dismemberment of our constitutional rights.
We've seen the right of privacy, we've seen the right of autonomy, the right to associate, freedom of expression.
We've seen all these attacks take place during COVID in the last two years, two and a half years.
And the dilution that's taken place is the reasonable expectation as American is you don't have any real freedom anymore.
I mean, I just thought about this the other day.
I thought, you know, a friend of mine got on a flight to China, got over, landed in Shenzhen, had cleared two or three times here as virtually, you know, no COVID, no COVID, gets on the plane, allowed to fly back, no COVID, no COVID, had been here through the whole COVID deal, For two and a half years, gets back to China.
She's told to check into a hotel.
She checks into this hotel where she's got to stay for 10 days.
After two days of being there, she turns up and she's got COVID.
She's transported to the Shenzhen Hospital and is secured there.
I mean, it's just frightening.
This is, if you don't think we're in a totalitarian state around the world, you got another thing coming.
Think about this.
Can you get on a plane just like you used to back in the 70s, 80s, 90s, 2000, 2010, and, you know, just fly to Europe?
No!
You got to do all this testing and passing and filling out forms and, you know, freedom is gone.
Freedom as we knew it has gone.
It's disappeared and we have accepted it.
We think, oh, okay, I've got to fill out this form, I've got to fill out that form, I've got to stand in line for three hours, I've got to go to the airport, I've got to reserve my parking at LAX in order to get close so I don't have to walk a half a mile to get on an international flight.
Are you kidding me?
So when you see the federal government taking an interest and overriding interest in elections, it doesn't surprise me.
How the hell else is Gavin Newsom going to get elected?
You know, this is just appalling.
It's appalling.
Our rights are being whittled away from us day by day, inch by inch, exercise by exercise, moment by moment.
We're going to end up with nothing except sitting in a 10-foot cell somewhere thanking God for some shitty rice and hopefully some butter on it.
And a big picture of Klaus Schwab on the wall.
That's right, that's right, that's right.
Nice touch.
Meanwhile, New York's COVID quarantine rules have been declared unconstitutional, and there's another monster woman dictator governor, Scott, not yet on your list, but she belongs there, clearly.
The New York Supreme Court judge quietly ruled regulation mandating people with or exposed to communicable diseases be quarantined are a violation of state law.
I like this.
Isolation may include those at home, in residence, or temporary housing.
The rule notes where symptoms or conditions indicate medical care in a hospital is expected, the isolation shall be in a hospital.
Three Republican state legislators sued the state's health department.
Plaintiffs argued isolation and quarantine procedure were in violation of the New York State Constitution and a violation of separation of powers.
Acting Justice of the Supreme Court of Cattaraugus County, Donald P. Polk, slided with a plain tip, stating the rule merely gives lip service to constitutional due process.
Excellent!
Involuntary detention is a severe deprivation of individual liberty, far more egregious than other health safety measures, such as mask wearing.
Involuntary quarantine may have far-reaching consequences, such as loss of income and isolation from family.
But there was no scientific data or expert testimony to back up the rule.
He noted in his ruling, the rule is null and void until the New York State Legislature acts otherwise, potentially paving the way for future appeals.
The governor, unelected, told local officials she would be appealing the court's decision.
Very confident we will be successful.
New York Attorney General Letitia James, who liked the governor, is just an extreme zealot, a Democrat zealot.
Appeal the ruling to the State Supreme Court.
It comes as Herschel's office reported the seven-day average had risen from 30.53 per 100,000 to 35.28.
That sounds like it could be within the statistical margin of error.
Scott, your thoughts?
Yeah, I think you're witnessing, again, a return.
I wanted to return and focus on one thing that really is going to be unprecedented in the history of the United States, and that is these women like what you just identified, Jim.
There has been a rising sense of arrogant entitlement and, you know, abusive motherly control of America.
The isolation of Americans who refuse to, you know, take their vaccine and then, you know, flagellate themselves for being a white conservative Christian male.
And these people like Megan Whitmer and and Ocasio-Cortez and Kamala Harris and All of these governors, especially, and these, of course, you know, senators and such like that, the one that's, you know, the one that's famous for wanting to drink beer and ran for president, I can't remember what her name is, there's a lot of them.
I think you're going to witness a lot of people rising up, recognizing that we're like three minutes to zero on the nuclear clock,
And they're going to be standing up and rejecting violently these tyrannical acts, because as you identified too earlier, one of the triggers that they're going to initiate in the social disruption and chaos, which they have to generate to create the cloak of invisibility for political election fraud, they're going to have to pull out the monkey box tyranny.
So be advised, you are going to see after Labor Day, After everybody gets back in and they settle and their kids are back in school, they're going to do a monkey pox, most likely a complete societal shutdown.
And they're going to try and get away with it.
They're already seeding that in California.
They're threatening to bring back mask mandates.
So what I anticipate, though, is a great clash.
You're going to have some people, hopefully the majority of people, violently oppose any such further restrictions.
Because they recognize not only are they fraudulent, but they are an amplification of the fascism that the Democrats are trying to aggressively transform America into.
Jim?
Good points.
David?
Well, you know, I'm kind of pleased just to see that the courts ruled that this stuff's unconstitutional.
Of course, you know, Wheels of justice turn slow.
That's that's the most accurate quote ever.
The real problem is you have two things.
You have the Mosley case, which is a Air Force guy was required to take the mandate and contested it saying, hey, it's not Cominarty.
Cominarty is the one.
And the JAG court upheld his decision.
And so that protected the sanctity of individuals to refuse the vaccine in the armed services.
I'm not sure what the status of that case is now.
And then you see this new Omicron variant, you know, running around.
So of course I agree with Scott, it's going to be the next prelude to Some type of monkey pox deal or some other public nuisance just getting out of hand.
But what's interesting is Dr. Malone talked about this on Steve Bannon's War Room recently and he said that the facts are that the people most adversely affected by the new Omicron variant, the The OBGYN5, I'm going to just call it that.
I'm going to get excoriated for that.
But this new GA5 or whatever it is, is appearing in those double and triple vax people.
They're the ones most susceptible to it.
And I hear it's just nothing other than a sore throat and sniffles.
And it's just, you know, amplification.
But what's really very scary to me is I think back at Eric Eric Holder and Obama were talking about brainwashing the American people have to be brainwashed they have to be brainwashed and that I think is taking place and You know, it's what can be said about these people out there.
They're just looking for the enslavement and the trapping of people.
And we see the erosion taking place in front of us, in front of our very eyes.
And we're really on a dark path.
I mean, the 2022 elections, end of 2022 elections If these go south, I mean, you know, how are we going to make it another two years?
How are we going to make it as a people another two years?
That's all I got to say.
Oh, I think that's right.
It's a devastating image.
Meanwhile, here's what you would have.
Welcome to your police state future.
You'll eat crickets and drink pee on a floating prison barge.
A massive prison barge is floating in the East River of the South Bronx.
It holds 800 prisoners subject to chemical assault, vaccine, medical experiments, enhanced restraints, and other forms of illegal torture and incarceration.
It was built as a way for authorities to evade oversight and local laws by claiming to be in waterways rather than on land.
It's the perfect representation of the future of humanity in a globalist police state.
They're also known as FEMA prison barges, believed to be used at Gitmo.
They are in many ways equivalent to CIA black sites, where prisoners are routinely subjected to torture and enhanced interrogation techniques, despite their illegality.
Meanwhile, the corrupt governments of the world are meticulously destroying domestic food supplies, cranking up cricket factories to produce millions of pounds of ground cricket meal to be used as health food for humans and pets.
As reported by the Westphalian Times, the Canadian government is excited about a project to grow billions of crickets, produce a nutrient-rich protein for premium health food and pet markets.
Got that?
Cricket protein meals, premium health food.
Soon you'll see it touted as a replacement for whey protein and beef.
They also claim producing crickets instead of beef will result in emitting significantly less greenhouse gases during the production stage, as though greenhouse gas were actually a problem when CO2 cools the Earth in four different ways that is indispensable to life.
Not to mention that there's no correlation between the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere and the temperature of the Earth.
Lacking correlation, there cannot be causation.
Thus you'll be told to eat crickets to save the planet from CO2.
Water runs out in Lake Mead as it's done.
Wastewater recycling will have a whole new phase.
People are forced to drink recycled urine if they hope to drink anything at all.
That's water removed from bio-sledge.
Teeming with viruses, birth control chemicals, pesticides, medication, filtered and repackaged as drinking water for the masses.
Anyone who defies the globalist agenda will be arrested, rounded up, and either exterminated or incarcerated.
You'll eat crickets and drink pee while living on a floating prison barge or you will be put to death.
You owe nothing to be happy or Buy an electric car to play the part, but don't charge it or you'll crash the power grid.
Get this.
Telsa owners in Texas are receiving in-car alerts to avoid charging their cars because the Texas power grid is on the verge of failure due to a lack of energy from word turbines that aren't turning because the wind is not blowing.
And Iricata has announced wind power in Texas is producing just 8% of its total capacity.
Solar 81%, but only the days when the sun shines.
So we got installed capacity and look at the percentages.
Stunning.
Wind especially.
Unbelievable.
Green energy, in other words, is failing yet again.
So we have a situation where we're supposed to buy green cars to save the planet, but they can't be charged because the green energy isn't working, because the wind isn't blowing.
So your green car is useless because green energy isn't reliable, yet globalists tell everyone to go more green, get more green vehicles, which only make the entire system more prone to collapse.
Is this some sort of insane climate joke?
Yep.
Truthfully, there isn't enough capacity in the power grid right now to reliably charge the electric cars already in existence.
What happens when millions more buy electric vehicles and plug them in?
The answer obvious.
The power grid ceases to function.
In other words, the Green Agenda will push America into a third world existence.
It's one more reason to get a solar generator's backup.
The real solution, however, is to use so-called fossil fuels.
Really, there's an unlimited amount of oil naturally produced by Earth, and drag ourselves out of starvation and global financial collapse.
The anti-human Luciferians in charge right now want to exterminate millions of us, so they're pursuing the policies designed to bring about maximum human casualties with considerable success.
Scott, your thoughts?
Well, as we said before, and it warrants always re-examination, Psychologically and emotionally and mentally, people adopting, following, pursuing this Green New Deal, Green Agenda, environmental worship, climate change, is a form of religion.
It's a form of occultic, spiritual, you know, worship.
of paganism and the religion.
It's not about managing clean water, clean streams, clean oceans.
It's not about stopping chemicals from being sprayed out of planes in the sky.
It's not about, you know, managing our forests so they don't burn down.
It's not about effective stewardship of the natural environment that God created on the earth.
No, it is a form of self-prostration, self-hatred, self-loathing, and violence and internal discontent.
It's almost like these Democrats or Caterpillars yearning to be butterflies, and they think if they enter the cocoon of Wearing burlap and eating sawdust and not having heat and throwing up these silly windmills and solar and thinking, deluding themselves into thinking that this energy source is enough to trigger
Some sort of Star Trek redefining or recreation of the world and humanity, which also has its tentacles into transhumanism, that somehow they're going to escape the accountability of A moral world, a world where there is sin and evil and vice and there's God and accountability for actions.
They think they're going to escape that into this, the fool's madness of an environmental, you know, new world order.
And it's all based on delusion, self-hatred, and a violent emotional refusal to look at and acknowledge reality.
And that is ultimately where we're going.
Those who acknowledge reality, acknowledge the limitations of man, acknowledge the good and the virtue of keeping water pure, and our environment pure, and managing like a good store does, the garden of earth.
That's one side, the reasonable side.
And then there is the fanatical, furious, emotionally schizophrenic side, which has no logic or reason behind what they're doing.
It's all emotion.
And if you don't submit, look at Ocasio-Cortez, for God's sake.
I mean, she's a decently cute girl.
I mean, I wouldn't date her.
My parents wouldn't want her in the house.
But nevertheless, she's, you know, she's got a couple of cute things.
She reminds me of Kermit the Frog with big eyes.
But here this young girl is saying stuff like, oh, I'm not going to have any children because the world's going to end in 12 years, and this and that, and she's serious about it.
No serious person says that stuff.
The only people who say it are those who are about to have a nervous breakdown, socially, politically, and individually, and they're always the Democrats.
Jim?
There are a lot of them, Scott.
David, your thoughts?
Well, you know, I just hope that Justin Trudeau is the first one to eat crickets and drink pee.
I think it's probably a recommended diet for him.
It certainly might improve his brain functions.
But in any event, you know, I'm all for natural living.
You know, I tend to walk a lot.
I'm a big walker.
No big deal.
But I don't drive when I walk.
You know, I would like to think that our energy is more sustainable.
So, to a certain extent, I applaud the aspirational character of ideas that are more natural in their objective.
But, you know, I think this green agenda, as I see it, is nothing.
The green that they're talking about is the money.
The green that they talk about is the money.
Get on the green agenda.
Let's raise money for this.
Let's raise money for that.
Let's tax the people more.
It's a green agenda.
The green agenda is all about taxing people, getting money for social projects that don't produce anything.
I think industry, when left on its own, will get involved in research and development that is sustainable.
I read a book by Jeffrey Sachs, The Power of Sustainable Development, and I liked the book.
I thought it was very well written.
Very important, but taking it to its extreme, you see these barges and you see these 10 by 10 cells or whatever they are, and that's what apparently is some objective of some people.
Now, we hear it's a world economic forum, we hear it's Justin Trudeau and his colleagues and whores, and we hear that it's
You know, out of our hands, but quite frankly, the aspirational character of man, like Scott said, is based on a focus on virtues, on inspiration, on aspiration, things that are high in character, not depravity, not LGBTQ, PIOC, you know, it's
Uh, it's really where, you know, heaven is where your heart is.
And, um, and I think America for some of this, you know, portraying the rainbow flag at the Vatican or flying it up over the embassy at the Vatican, that's just, that's, that's just disgusting to me.
And look, I believe in the pursuit of happiness.
I get the civil rights.
I understand all that.
But the moral exhibitionism is just too much for me.
So I just find media to be 100% offensive.
I did think about this today.
I thought about, I'm going to quit my bank because Because I don't believe with the advertising that took place in the month of June.
So this is a bank I've been with for probably 15, 20 years, but coming Monday, I'm going to switch banks.
I'm done with it.
I'm going to go find another bank, and maybe it's just going to be a little bank in my hometown, but I'm done with it.
So I'm fighting back in my own little way.
Very good.
It's a few thousand who find the billions populating the planet.
Inconvenient.
So they want to get rid of 7.5 billion of us.
Meanwhile, 4chan is Hunter Biden's iPhone, releasing 450 gigabytes private data, including a password.
Ladies and gentlemen, we are in.
Among the information that's coming out is Epstein-Aisle attendants, by the way.
There's some significant names here.
Alan Dershowitz, Alec Baldwin, Anderson Cooper, Barack Obama, Ben Affleck, Beyoncé, Bill Clinton, Bill Murray.
I mean, it's staggering what you find here.
Courtney Love, Demi Moore, Ehud Barak, Ghislaine obviously, needless to say, Jeffrey Epstein, of course, the impresario, Jim Carrey, Jimmy Kimmel, John Cusack, John Legend,
Katie Perry, Kevin Spacey, Linda Pinto, Lisa Summers, Lynn Forrester de Rothschild.
Now, this is the wife of the Rothschild owner of the banking empire.
This is his wife.
Why are we not surprised?
Meryl Streep, Oliver Sacks, Oprah Winfrey, Quentin Tarantino.
Robert Downey Jr., Sandy Berger, others of note, Stephen Colbert, Steven Spielberg, Tom Hanks, Will Ferrell, Will Smith, Woody Allen, unbelievable.
Researchers have begun examining an offline bank, a hunter's phone.
They found a password going through wall.
There's reportedly 450 gigabytes.
What can you do?
They're suggesting to those who don't know how to get into it, if you don't have experience cracking or working with iOS devices, download it and see the original torrent.
At the very least, it helps get the data into the hands of those who can crack it.
It's a massive backlog.
Get this.
I was told Hunter had sexual relation with a lot of people in the so-called elite and families are ashamed.
The elite want to prevent the humiliation because he effed half the kids, sisters, and wives in the small elite circles.
The data has come from the iPhone backup containing everything from deleted phone calls and text messages To web search history, including pornography habits.
Just look at all these lists.
Hunter Biden effing a hooker homemade.
Hunter Biden effing a hooker homemade.
Dozens and dozens and dozens.
They also show text messages between Joe and others.
Weapons in his room.
I'm at the end of my sanity, someone writes, and Hunter writes back.
What right do you effing have, Hallie?
There are five guns in dad's house.
There are fucking more, effing more weapons in your son's room than in an armory.
What's my fuck up?
Owning a gun?
The 4-channel dump that's going on can be followed here.
There's a lot there.
It's coming out, and it's awful, Scott.
Awful, right.
It really is.
It is what should be hung around the necks of every Democrat to hurl them into the sea and sink to the bottom because it is the millstone.
It is the evidence and the substance of their depravity and their insanity and their arrogance.
Never mind the manipulation and the treason of Hunter Biden and Joe Biden and Rosemont Seneca and Chris Hines and Devin Archer and their relationship with China.
Never mind Rosemont Seneca being also birthed in, or actually metabiota, Rosemont Seneca funded metabiota.
Metabiota was in the biochemical labs in Ukraine, but metabiota was also established on California in the 12th district, Nancy Pelosi's district.
So Nancy Pelosi's son, also Paul Pelosi Jr., had a role in Rose Monsonica and Metabiota.
So this whole evidence coming out of these Democrats selling America like Clinton did, Hillary Clinton, selling for Clinton Foundation donations through Union Bank of Switzerland and Covington and Burling and Eric Holder and Lanny Brewer and Obama and Biden,
And then Biden and this, you know, the absolute corruption in Ukraine and having the gall and the mendacity to continue this money laundering, racketeering, human trafficking experiment in Ukraine, turning Ukraine into a Frankenstein monstrosity.
It is beyond understanding how America and Americans Aren't lighting their firebrands and pitchforks and actually hunting down and killing these people, hanging them from the tallest trees, throwing them out of office, burning down their offices.
I mean, I can't imagine something more motivational to people who have a sense of moral conscience than seeing what Hunter Biden and all these people have done.
And the failure to do that is a remarkable testament to I think the overall moral degeneracy of Americans as a whole, as a whole population.
There are those of us who are coming out, but as a whole this country is, I think they've been turned over to strong delusion and they're all becoming like Nebuchadnezzar eating grass for seven years in the field.
Jim?
We're really in a hole.
Mind you, the government anticipates something like that may happen, and they're stocking up.
They're having various branches, even the Department of Agriculture, load up with automatic weapons and hollow point bullets.
They clearly want to defend themselves against what they fear may be a popular uprising.
David, your thoughts?
Well, you know, this is all detailed in Peter Schweizer's book on Joe Biden and Hunter Biden in China.
You know, this is, it kind of smacks of, you know, I don't want to sound pro-Trump here, but it almost smacks as this, there will be a biblical event.
And, you know, I don't know if it's headed that way, but, you know, we've seen we've lost Boris Johnson.
We lost Draghia in Italy.
I'm hoping Trudeau in Canada.
You know, we're seeing the world starting to implode.
And my God, I cannot believe that Hunter Biden's laptop is public information.
And I can't believe that Merrick Garland and the FBI has not taken enforcement steps.
Arguably, there's something going on behind the negotiations taking place in private, but with all this public information, this needs to be opened up to the entire world to see.
So it is what it is.
This is the good thing about America.
This is America at its finest, getting its information out.
But this isn't a pandemic.
It's not a bunch of bullshit.
This is truth.
Bear in mind, revolutions are brought about by a tiny segment of the population.
Only a tiny segment of the American population understands what's going on.
It may be enough.
I'm talking about 3% can be enough to bring it about.
And remember, The Democrats have a lot of gullible saps who believe in gun control and all that.
We have over 130, I'd say by now 170 million armed Americans who did not vote for Joe Biden and who do not like the abuse of the Constitution.
And a segment of that is all we require to set things right.
Remember, as you cited before, there is a significant percentage of people who have already admitted it may be required of them to take up guns against the government.
Not because they're Crazy, but because the government is crazy and going to use and hurt these people.
It was a very telling percentage.
It was 35% or in that vicinity.
It was very significant, much more than 3%.
But those who may see the writing on the wall and those who are willing to act are obviously going to be different percentages, but it is a good sign, Scott, that even polling is showing that significant a measure of awareness.
Yes, Doc.
Yeah, and we talked about Epstein Island, there are people going there.
Are you aware that Biden was at that island, the Virginia Islands, eight miles away, and just Zell Maxwell ran a submarine between Biden's place and Epstein Island for child trafficking.
That's right.
That's right.
Nice.
Nice.
Meanwhile, Second Amendment ruling puts all types of gun control in the crosshairs.
Gun control in the crosshairs.
Not guns.
Gun control.
Editor's Note The Democrats have gone stark raving mad over their gun control agenda, which is not going to save them from being wiped off the map during the midterms, assuming we are allowed to conduct them.
Here's a letter submitted to the Wisconsin State Journal which I anticipated they would not publish, and have not.
Assault Weapons and Gun Control Editor Democrats seized on the spate of recent mass shootings to promote their gun control agenda, but they mislead the public by suppressing some of the most important facts of the matter by design.
On MSNBC, Claire McCaskill asserted 70,000 lives are lost at gun violence each year, not sorting out murders as opposed to suicide, police imperforming their duty, or civilians in self-defense.
It turns out that Americans use guns to defend themselves from criminals millions of times every year, saving an estimated 200,000 per annum lives that otherwise would have been lost.
The AR-15 may be a military-style weapon in appearance, but it is not a weapon of war, which would be fully automatic, when the AR-15 is only semi-automatic, but they like the sound of the phrase.
Some claim that the Founding Fathers did not have military-style weapons in mind when they authored the Second Amendment.
But it was actual military, not just military-style weapons they had in mind.
The point was to have citizen-soldiers who were armed and ready to rise to the defense of the nation in times of tyranny.
They had it right then and right now.
Some would say now more than ever.
Democrats generally appear to be impervious to facts where reason and evidence no longer matter.
They never address the defensive use of guns, but want to ban guns regardless of their benefits.
As a professor of philosophy, I must confess to being dumbfounded at the non-rational stance they've adopted on ideological grounds.
While approval ratings show Democrats are losing hope of retaining power in 2022, gun control demands continue to be one of their top unifying calls.
The worries of the Antoinette liberal elite, climate change, abortion on demand, transgenderism, strict gun control.
Are not those that terrify the middle or lower classes.
They want enough affordable food and energy and to be safe from criminals.
Victor Davis Hanson recently observed about their stand on guns and he's on to something.
Now there's news the House Judiciary Committee will be moving on the 2021 assault weapon ban bill targeting at least 45 types of AR-15 rifles, 30 specific AK-47s.
This bill makes it a crime to annoyingly import, sell, manufacture, transfer, or possess a semiotic assault weapon.
See?
The contradiction.
Can't be semi-automatic and be an assault weapon at the same time.
Or large-capacity ammunition.
The prohibition does not apply to a firearm that's bolt-operated, pump-lever, or slide-action, permanently inoperable, an antique, or a rifle, or shotgun, specifically identified by make and model.
The bill permits continued possession, sale, or transfer of a grandfathered SAW, which must be securely stored.
The bill permits continued possession, but prohibits sale or transfer.
Newly manufactured must display serial numbers.
It also allows local or state governments to use Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistant Grant to fund or compensate individuals who give up their guns.
The Washington Times suggests the Supreme Court's June 23rd pro-Second Amendment ruling puts all types of gun control in the crosshairs of gun rights groups.
On June 23rd, they reported the ruling striking down New York's proper cause requirement for a concealed carry.
Within the next 24 to 36 hours, California and New Jersey dropped similar concealed carry issuance.
On July 5th, Maryland suspended its Good and Substantial Reason Clause.
The Washington Times suggests the Bruin ruling means gun control of all types may now face challenges.
In some cases, they're already being challenged.
The Times paraphrased Justice Thomas' emphasis on the importance of rulings like Bruin, McDonnell v. Chicago, and District of Columbia v. Heller, saying, The test courts must apply as whether a firearm restriction would have seemed reasonable to the founding generation that crafted and ratified the Second Amendment.
If not, the law must give way to the Constitution.
At this point, the Second Amendment Foundation is seeking to challenge a federal ban on handgun purchases by those 18 to 21 years old, pointing to the Brown decision.
Moreover, Breitbart reported that SCOTUS vacated and remanded a number of cases centered on an assault weapon ban in Maryland, a high-capacity magazine ban in California, and carry restriction in Hawaii as well.
A challenge to New Jersey's high-capacity ban was also among the cases vacated and remanded.
On January 13th, right, Mark?
2021.
Right, Mark?
Noted the National Shooting Sports Foundation numbers that were 20 million firearms in private possession, which Democrats label assault weapons.
They were a proportion of the overall 432 million privately owned guns than in American possession.
Handgun sales, moreover, have increased since Maryland changed the permit standard.
Handgun sales are up.
Governor Larry Hogan, a Republican, directed the Maryland State Police to suspend the state standard, requiring good and substantial reason to carry a handgun.
It came after the Supreme Court struck down a New York law similar to Maryland's.
The Sheriff's Office, which offers fingerprinting for those seeking a handgun, licenses permits on uptick in those seeking appointments.
For the first time ever, we have every single fingerprint appointment for the next two weeks filled.
Said Lt.
Tracy McCutcheon, the Sheriff's Office Support Service Commander.
We expect this trend to continue for quite some time.
Since Tuesday, they have extended their finger-pointing hour to meet the demand.
Since a permit standard change, local businesses have noticed a spike in customers.
It's been crazy, Angel Garcia, Special Project Manager at Urbana Guns and Armor said of the increasing interest in obtaining a carry commit.
The concealed carry class business offers have grown exponentially since the standard change in sales arrived.
The store, which just celebrated its first anniversary, has a three-day class, including practice at the range.
It can accommodate nine people at a time.
Everyone interested in concealed carry lately has mentioned the recent standard change.
Typically, some are slow at the gun center, which has been in business for more than 30 days.
However, there have been more phone calls and foot traffic as the result has been fairly steady.
Gun sales higher than normal for this time of year.
Tim Brown, co-owner of Gunstead, Shack, Crosswinds, and Mount Airy knows the big uptake.
Brown's business has been around since 1977.
They've sold twice as many smaller semi-automatic handguns since the standard shift.
He said he was surprised by the change.
Considering Maryland's history with firearm regulation, but he's glad to have more customers, more or less, floodgates have opened.
Scott, your thoughts?
Well, you know, again, the Second Amendment states a well-regulated militia being necessary for the security of a free state.
The right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.
That means a well-regulated militia consists of individual people with firearms, with knives, bowie knives, whatever, already in their possession.
And then they gather and they train and they deploy and they maneuver as a militia, as a squad, as a unit.
But before you're a unit, you are a individual.
So the individual right to keep and bear arms precedes The formal organization and deployment and maneuver as a unit.
That is what the Constitution and the Founding Fathers were before they gathered into units to defend against the British and that's what we are now and forevermore shall be.
So the Constitution and the Second Amendment is The carry permit every American already has.
They don't need to apply for a concealed carry permit from any state.
Their Second Amendment is their permit.
And I wish we had intelligent, manly leaders in the presidency that would have written executive order affirming that.
Every American already has a right to keep and bear arms under the Second Amendment, and therefore no concealed carry permits will be necessary.
DeSantis needs to do that.
Trump should have done that because, again, the other shifting air of all this is people are going to see, and they're already seeing it, okay, and Democrats think that they could push abortion and gun control and, you know, throwing over and Democrats think that they could push abortion and gun control and, you know, throwing over the Supreme Court is the leading election issues that are going to People are already going, wait a minute.
it.
The gun control is absolutely nonsense because all of these lunatics and homicidal maniacs that are killing people, whether it's schools or elsewhere, they're all Democrats.
They're all Democrat lunatics who come from broken homes, don't know what a boy or a girl is, don't know if they're a man or a woman, and pierce and bludgeon and cut off and take hormone pills or kill themselves with suicide.
Those are all Democrats.
Abortion?
All Democrats.
The other environmental and other wacko things the Democrats pushing.
Every reasonable person are saying all of these policies the Democrats are advancing in America are creating a toxic America.
And the only way to defend ourselves and stay alive and defend our children is with the Second Amendment.
And it is with discriminating and scrutinizing and being very particular with who your friends are, who your neighbors are, where you live, and what you're willing to engage.
And tolerate.
And the district attorney, Klaus Schwab types, or George Soros type district attorneys that have been selectively prosecuting conservatives for these things, I think they're also going to be the ones to go.
Finally, I'll say one final thing, Jim.
You said about 3% of the population for triggering revolution, and we have like 30-35% saying it may be necessary to take up arms against the government.
That's huge.
Here's the bigger percentage.
You have some people, former military and others, who have no problem with exercising firearms to defend against tyranny.
But there's also a huge population of Americans that will say, we won't report on you if you have to shoot and kill someone to stop a robbery or stop an attack.
We, the more passive side of society, may not actually engage in kinetic operations, but they will provide the cover, or they will go up and be a voice piece.
They will be sort of a passive informant to say, hey cop, hey ATF, hey Democrat, you better not start pulling this tyranny in this town, or I know some people and seen some people and have some neighbors that will put you down.
I'm not saying I'm going to do it, but there are people out there that are aware of what you're trying to do, and they will put you down.
There is a growing sentiment in a lot of Americans' hearts and minds that they'll be rising up and playing a role in the psychological operation.
Jim?
Scott, remember that the cases that Democrats cite like Highland Park, Uvalde, Buffalo, go back to Las Vegas, go to Orlando, go to Sandy Hook.
They're all fake.
They're all staged.
They're phony events.
And you and I have addressed many of them.
So when you Even when you factor in the propaganda cases, the number of lives that are saved by people able to defend themselves with guns is overwhelmingly greater, even if you take for granted those were all real when they're fake.
David, your thoughts?
Well, the only thing that I, you know, when it comes to guns, the only thing that really surprises me is how long it took for the police officers at the Valdi incident to respond appropriately.
I have a real problem with the facts as reported at Uvalde and I just have a real problem with the entire exercise.
I heard, I don't know if it's true or not, but I heard there was a U.S.
Army plane that had flown in hours before and flew out hours after.
I don't know if that's true or not, but that's what I've heard.
In any event, I do just want to address the gun issue.
I think it's very important that gun dealers check on one thing.
They make sure the people purchasing the guns are United States citizens.
That's all I gotta say.
Nice.
Nice point, David.
Yes, very good.
Meanwhile, our final story, Dix Morris to Newsmax.
Only Trump can win the election in 2024.
The phrase is not likely.
He's certain to run.
I believe certain to get the Republican nomination.
I think he'll actually get it by a claim.
I don't even think there'll be a primary fight, said Dick Morris, who's a very sophisticated guy.
All the talk of DeSantis is just that talk.
A lot of Republicans have this sort of six-year itch.
You've heard of the seven years with six with Trump.
They're flirting with DeSantis.
But only Trump can win, in his opinion.
Only Trump can say, I did it.
You want to know if I can cut inflation or hold down gas prices, seal the border?
I did it when I was president.
He's sort of a hybrid, half incumbent, half challenger.
Second, He has access to the Hispanic vote and to the white high school educated vote other candidates really don't have, and that gives him tremendous capacity.
So I think that only Trump can win, but let it bother you, DeSantis is not going to run.
He noted a two-part strategy to install Republican secretaries of state in the 2022 midterms, a Supreme Court fight for election authority being placed in the hands of state legislatures where the Constitution prescribes not Democrat governors.
You know, Stalin said it doesn't matter who casts the ballots, it matters who counts them.
The Secretary of State in those states count the votes and appoint the election inspectors and set the rules.
The Republicans were defeated in the Secretary of State races in 2018, which presaged the outcome in 2020.
So we're running hard to elect Republican Secretaries of State in the swing votes.
Fighting to restore constitutional authority will help provide election integrity that broke down in 2020.
More importantly, We have a lawsuit moving its way in the Supreme Court.
They're going to hear it next term.
That will eliminate the possibility of ballot fraud.
Because what it does is say the legislature, not the governor, not the secretary of state, not the courts, is in charge of rules for federal elections.
It's based on a clause of the Constitution that explicitly states, the legislature shall determine the time, manner, and place of election for Congress and President, not the state offices, but federal offices.
The goal is to keep Democrat governors from unduly influencing.
So in all the swing states, we have Republican majorities in the legislature, but Democrat governors keep vetoing laws to make drop boxes illegal and to require photo ID and that sort of thing.
Like, are you going to use that clause in the Constitution in the lawsuit that the court is going to hear next called Moore v. Harper?
Which will completely cut the governors out of the process.
He noted his Trump relationship started when his father was the best real estate attorney Trump ever had, spoke with the president every day during the 2020 election, and I explain it all in the book.
He's got a new book.
But more importantly, my suspicion is he's got it generally right.
Scott, your thoughts?
Well, I don't think so.
I don't like Dick Morris very much.
He doesn't change his spots.
He's a Democrat at heart.
Beyond the fence.
I think that Santis, depending on how aggressive he is in articulating the truth, has more potential to wake people up and recognize that everything we're suffering, we're suffering because Trump failed to act and had bad people around him for his entire administration.
He's a good campaigner.
He's a good speech giver.
But he's not a good commander-in-chief.
And he doesn't know government.
He doesn't know law.
He doesn't know the Constitution.
He just gets up there and gives a lot of platitudes and stuff.
So his foreign policy was a disaster.
His Ukraine policy was a disaster.
And when he gets up there and says, well, this would never have happened under my watch, Trump may be stupid enough to have triggered a serious conflict with Russia, where Russia would have thrown off the gloves and decimated us.
So, you know, I voted for Trump, I went back to help him out, but I was also disappointed by all the failures And the traders that were around him.
We'll see how it develops.
But I think DeSantis... The other thing is this, Jim.
The COVID-19 vaccination is going to cause a massive stupefication upon Americans.
They're going to be so dumb, so sensitive.
There's going to be a mental softening of Americans That Trump's grit and sandpaper-like personality may have a detrimental effect to these vaccinated Americans.
So, I'm still a little bit on the fence, but any Republican is always better than a Democrat, Jim.
Well, I like this, Anna Scott, but no one connected with the American people like Donald Trump since JFK.
I guarantee you 100%.
David, you get the final word today.
Well, thank you, Jim.
It's not often I get the final word, but I will say this.
I agree that Trump has resonated with a lot of Americans, and I think he has the best in mind for Americans.
But the problem I have is I don't think he's articulate.
I think, as Scott said, it's platitudes.
There is no intellectual depth to President Trump's message.
There's no appeal to intellectuals.
There's a complete absence of reasoning.
Just, I like this, I like that, this is how I feel.
And I find him hollow.
I'm not saying he's incapable of being president.
He is.
But what I don't like is Is a guy who thinks of himself as the shining star, thinks of himself as Orion in the sky.
I would like to see a president who is Republican, who surrounded himself with a lot of shiny examples.
of really spectacular and competent people to run energy, to run commerce, to run the Justice Department, to be Attorney General.
I don't like puppets.
I like to see men of stature in these positions.
And Trump is narcissistic, and he's maniacal to a certain extent.
And I don't mean that in a bad way.
I'm fond of President Trump.
But I just don't think he offers the wide spectrum of diverse opinions that help form positive policies that affect the world.
You know, we have a cabinet in place now, but it's just with falling shorts and we, you know, hopefully as we see President Trump start his new campaign, he'll be much more selective of people with whom he surrounds himself.
Otherwise, he's going to fall short again.
Don't let the perfect become the enemy of the good, David.
The most Americans only wish we were back to the Trump days, believe me.
Those are the good old days today in the Biden time.
That's nirvana by comparison.
I get it.
I get it.
Yeah, back in the good old days before COVID.
I think that when COVID came, Trump sort of Caved into that, and Fauci controlled Trump, I think.
That's not good.
And we've had a heck of a show today here on Truth vs. News, July 17th.
What a hot show, what a crazy show.
Everything from Prison Bargers, you name it, it's out there.
Hopefully you could handle this show, and if you could, please share it, and watch it, and post it, and get this information out, because dang it, it's happening!
