This is Jim Fetzer of Madison, Wisconsin, joined today by Joel Zinn from Houston.
It took us an hour to get the connection.
Merriam-Hennein is on special assignment.
We're going to start with a very first story.
Putin has a new plan for Ukraine.
Retired General Wesley Clark, who was formerly commanding general of NATO, suggests he's planning what's known as a development of Ukrainian troops currently holding back Russian forces and separatists in the Donbass region.
Clark said the Russian troops are north and south of the city of Dnipro, that the city is going to be the next key objective for the Russian fighters.
If they can drive to Dnipro, they'll cut off the Ukrainian forces holding back the separatists in the Donbass.
An envelopment of these forces cut them off and annihilate them.
He said if Russia can do this, so I've taken out a substantial part of the Ukrainian army.
According to the general, the best way to stop them is to give them heavy fighting equipment.
Lockheed, given the U.S.
has just confirmed an additional 300 mil aid package to Ukraine, made up almost entirely of military hardware.
The DoD also announced the agency will help facilitate the transfer of Soviet-made tanks from Poland to Ukraine.
This appears to me to be aiding and abetting.
To prevent Russia from winning what could be the final weeks of the war, Ukrainian fighters will need as much help as they can get from NATO allies.
The question is, will Russian President Putin see the transfer of tanks and aircraft from NATO countries to Ukraine as an act of war?
And might this start World War III?
Those seem like pretty good questions.

Meanwhile, while we hope Joe gets reconnected, The mainstream media's Boucher tall tale may precipitate World War III, have no doubt about it.
The Boucher massacre has now become a driving force for propaganda for even more NATO involvement in the conflict.
Yep, the claim this is a Russian war crime is so patently false.
A rational observer can only be left astounded by the combination of barefaced nerve and slapdash incompetence displayed by the median politician pushing this disgusting spirit.
Except, of course, it's purposeful.
They know it's fake.
They know they're lying.
The latest, the latest Effort of the Russian media to deny Russian rebuttals as acclaimed satellite photos show the bodies that were there for weeks.
Far from proving the case, however, the new assertion raises more questions that undermine the Western story.
The satellite photos certainly appear to show bodies, but they show no sign at all of the burnt-out cars, which were a prominent feature of the ground photos and videos.
Are we to believe these vehicles were carefully driven in and positioned between the corpses after the shooting spree?
A similar suspension of belief is required when considering the dates involved.
The Boucher Massacre entry in Wiki reads as follows.
On April 4th, satellite images were provided to the New York Times by Maxar Technologies.
The Times compared images to video evidence and concluded, many of the civilians were killed more than three weeks ago when Russia's military was in control of the town.
The images of Yablonska Street show at least 11 dark objects of similar size to a human body appearing between 9 March and 11 March.
Wiki also tells us Ukrainian troops re-entered Bush on April 1st, following the redeployment of the Russian forces to southeastern Ukraine.
Maxar Technologies, a major contract for NASA, which I believe is a branch of the CIA, is, of course, an integral part of the NATO military-industrial complex.
As such, its assertions regarding the conflict have to be regarded with caution.
That said, their dates of 9 to 11 March seem to be causing some concern in mainstream media outlets promoting the Russian massacre claim.
The Maxar date should indeed raise eyebrows.
The idea bodies could lie in the open air for three weeks without undergoing massive decay is only remotely credible because the average Westerner thinks Ukraine is in some kind of winter weather deep freeze.
Yep, the weather in Kiev for March 22 reveals there's not been a single day in the city of which Buzha is a suburb with temperatures below freezing since March 11.
The average temperature in the last few days of the month was 6 degrees centigrade, the same as the English city of Leeds.
The average, of course, includes highs in the spring sunshine.
The weather graph for Kiev in the last week of March showed the situation very clearly, with temperatures up to 15 and 17 degrees Celsius.
Anyone who's walked past an animal killed and left on the road a few days under these conditions can imagine the appalling stench that would come from so many human bodies left in the sunshine for three weeks.
Not one of the Ukrainian soldiers or police shown to examine the bodies can be seen wearing a mask or making any expression of revulsion or mentioning the smell.
As more graphic images have emerged, the evident freshness of the corpses seem to have prompted a revision of the dates of the alleged Russian massacre by April 5th.
For example, the Daily Mail lead story was now claiming the satellite photo showing bodies on the road were taken on the 19th of March.
No explanation was given for that 10-day change, even accepting the revised timeline.
There's still the problem none of the bodies shown in videos or photos has any signs of decay or damage from the carrion eaters.
To believe these accounts and videos, it's necessary to believe Ukraine has no stray dogs, no rats, not a single crow or other carnivorous birds.
Look again at the voting driving along the Corpse Line Road.
You see any carrion-eating birds flying up from any of the bodies?
For that matter, why were they not crushed by Russian tanks which withdrew from and through the town?
Do you believe soldiers brutal enough to slaughter dozens of defenseless civilians would then be considered enough to slow down their withdrawal by carefully weaving their heavy armor around each corpse?
Returning to the weather.
There was, of course, rain during the three weeks the bodies are supposed to have laid out, not rotting in the road.
Looking at the cardboard of the green boxes of food aid packages lying near some of the clearly fresh corpses, it's clear they have not been subjected to bad weather.
The presence of those packages, of course, is another pointer to the truth, for they are Russia.
Here you see some of the bodies.
You see the food packages there.
Thus, in order to believe the Western propaganda narrative, we must swallow yet another ridiculous tall tale.
The analyst has spent the last month repeatedly telling us the Russian army cannot even supply its own troops with fuel or food.
But now they'd have us believe Russians went to all the trouble of taking vast quantities of emergency food parcels to the occupied suburbs of Kiev, handed them out to civilians, and then promptly shot them.
It's absurd.
Here's an example of the food package.
On top of all this, there are four key facts that have already received considerable attention on Telegram, the last uncensored social media platform of any size in the West, which have, predictably enough, been routinely ignored by the warmongering mainstream media.
The first, The video of the mayor of Bukov speaking about how the Russian troops have left in a cleanup is now underway.
As a non-Russian speaker, I cannot judge for myself by the comments by Russian speakers accompanying this video on Telegram say he does not mention bodies of civilians.
The second fact, closely related, It's a video showing a detachment of paramilitary Ukrainian National Police clearing the roads of burned-out and abandoned vehicles.
Again, no sign of the bodies that appear on the streets the following day.
Third, perhaps most devastating of all, the white armbands on a number of the bodies.
These are clearly shown in the main video of Ukrainian troops driving along the Corpstone Road.
They are also visible on several of the bodies of victims of torture and murder in cellars in Bukha.
The fact that Ukrainian forces wear blue armbands while Russian troops wear white is universally accepted.
A number of videos from various parts of the conflict zone also show civilians wearing white armbands as a sign either of sympathy with the Russians or at least of neutrality.
That's the appearance of white armbands on the victims of the Bushehr massacre is overwhelming evidence the victims were ethnic Russians.
They were murdered not by Russian troops, who were of course sending with a key aim of stopping the persecution and slaughter of Russian speakers by racist neo-Nazis, but by Ukrainians.
This should come as no surprise.
The whole history of Ukraine and nationalism is based on the mass murder of unclean and subhuman civilians from other ethnic groups, most notably the Poles, the Boyan, and Eastern Galicia, Jews, Hungarians, Romanians, and of course, needless to add, Russians.
Finally, we come to video clips from the streets of Bukov, which were posted, the video clip which was posted and then removed, of the known Ukrainian neo-Nazi, Botman, whose associate said, those are guys without blue armbands.
Why don't we shoot them?
Yeah, go ahead, shoot them.
The truth of the massacre is so clear we can see why Western leaders like Boris Johnson are adamant there should not be a proper international investigation into the crime.
Instead, they are using the most blatant fake news to justify imposing another round of sanctions on their own people to excuse sending billions of pounds, dollars, and euros worth of high-tech weapons in order to prolong the war.
One has to wonder about the scale of the kickbacks these real war criminals are getting from their military industrial cronies.

This is very difficult.
Yeah, well, I got a couple of thoughts on that.
First of all, there's an interview at Veterans Today with Douglas McGregor on Bukha in Ukraine, and it's a video.
It's about six or eight minutes long.
It says, the key is the dead were wearing white armbands, just like you mentioned.
Doug, is him in Hawaii and fails to use the simple answer, the Russians were 75 miles away when the deaths happened.
Doug is reasonably honest, but remember his time at Fox News.
Still, of all the American military of recent years, only this one guy is speaking up.

Do you really want to tell the truth about the Pentagon and its, quote, perfumed, unquote, princes, as David Hackworth once called them?

And another interesting fact is that there was a missile attack at the Kamatorsky K-R-A-M-A-T-O-R-S-K rail station, and they claim that it was done by the Russians, and it killed 50 people.
Well, the Russians said, well, number one, we no longer use the Toshka T-O-C-H-K-A-U missiles.
Those were taken out of our inventory in 2019.
The Ukrainians are the only ones that use that, and the missile came from 45 kilometers away.
We've got all the telemetry showing who fired it and when, so There's an effort right there to cause a problem and then be Russia's made a big point of telling people that anybody that's supporting this is going to have weapons and and delivery systems destroyed if they're transporting into Ukraine said we have not blown up bridges are rail lines are But if you want to continue to send equipment, we'll start doing that.
So what happens?
Slovakia says, oh, we'll step up.
We'll donate an S-300 missile battery.
One mobile missile battery coming from Slovakia is going to cross somewhere on a bridge or on a rail car just to test the Russians to see if they'll actually do that.

And Poland said, "Hey, we got a bunch of leftover old Russian tanks that don't work.
We'll load them on trucks and rail cars and we'll ship them over to Ukraine." So it's like, okay, fine.
Just keep doing this escalation.

Leaked DHS document says the U.S.
plans to offer broad-scale release mechanism for illegal aliens.
Joe, they want to pour millions and millions of more illegals into the United States.
This is going to bring about permanent changes in the demographics of the United States.

Bringing them in at taxpayer expense, giving them cell phones, giving them places to stay, giving them citizenship.
This is insanity.
This is only explicable if you understand that George Soros, as the acting President of the United States, in his dream has always been to destroy America.
He's going about it in an aggressive fashion with great success.
A leaked U.S.
DHS plan public shows the removal of Title 42 would lead to an increase in illegal immigration.
One way is to release many apprehended illegals into the U.S.
In other words, catch and release or just let them flood in.
The 150-page document dated Feb.
17 is titled the DHS Southwest Border Mass Irregular Migration Contingency Plan.
It's put in place to comply with an earlier executive order from Biden that directed officials to create a framework to address the causes of migration and to manage migration, in addition to providing safe and orderly processing of illegals claiming asylum.
But the fact is, it even anticipates recession of Title 42, which has been the only mechanism holding back a flood of 100% more that are already pouring in.
This action is going to cause a surge in irregular immigration, have a direct impact on short-term holding and processing.
It will stem in part from the perception that restrictions to entry are being reduced, which they are.
As many as 450,000 illegals could arrive along what DHS calls the Southwest Border Security and Irregular Migration Zones, stretching from the southern border through Central America in a 30-day period.
That could lead to multiple surges of 10,000 to 20,000 immigrants hitting different locations at the same time.
DHS, which already dealt with a record level of illegal migration during Biden's first year, says ways to remove illegal migrants will be limited.
They're not going to have any capacity whatsoever.
This will lead to broad-scale release mechanisms, issuing notices to appear in court, or releasing illegals without a court notice, a practice not used before Biden took office.
That's just letting them in, a revolving door.
Nearly 95,000 were released in 2021 without a court notice.
Officials later mail charging documents to them, but think about it.
They don't have any idea where they are.
They don't have any addresses.

Homeland Security Secretary Mayorkas told members of Congress the practice had been discontinued.
Well, it was futile.
It was pointless.
It was just bullshit.
A DHS spokesman did not dispute the authenticity of the document.
Ask for a comment.
The spokesman in an email referred to Mallorca's statement when the Title 42 decision was announced.
Once the Title 42 order is no longer in place, DHS will process individuals encountered pursuant to Title 8, the standard procedure we use to place them in removal proceedings.
We know smugglers will spread information.
They call it misinformation, but it's accurate.
Let me be clear.
Those unable to establish a legal basis to remain in the United States will be removed by ARCA's consent.
That's complete nonsense.

Representative Andy Biggs of Arizona represents a portion of a border state that is suffering these inequities.
After reviewing the report that Biden and Mayorkas have eviscerated our nation's border security and immigration enforcement through various illegitimate executive orders and memoranda.

DHS must either enroll all illegal aliens in the Migrant Protection Protocols or detain them as required by law.
Simply releasing them is unacceptable and illegal, but that's what Biden is doing.

Why should American taxpayers fund lectures at the National Defense University that promote socialism as a strategy to combat China?
Austin claimed he wasn't aware of the event, but Goetz didn't let him off easily.
That's surprising, because it was widely reported the National Defense University has Thomas Piketty come, and the title of his lecture was Responding to China, the Case for Global Justice and Democratic Socialism.

The Democrat-led House approved contempt of Congress charges against Peter Navarro and Daniel Scavino in relation to the so-called attack on the U.S.
Capitol.
Navarro, a top trade advisor, and Scavino, a deputy chief of staff, did not comply.
House members backed the charge by 220 to 203, referring to DOJ for criminal consideration.
Only two Republicans joined the Democrats in voting a favor.
Scavino and Navarro have argued that communications are protected by executive privilege, though many claim the principle does not apply to former presidents.
Biden's administration has denied executive privilege to the former Trump aides.
Contempt bears a penalty of up to a year's imprisonment and a fine of up to $100,000.
Republicans lined up to eject before the vote, accusing the Democrats of waging a political war.
Democrats are using the power of federal government to jail their political opponents, said Republican leader Kevin McCarthy.
The House backed contempt of Congress charges last year for Steve Bannon charging a case to go to trial in July.
He also voted for a contempt for Mark Meadows, who became Trump's chief of staff.
The Democrat-led Select Committee has been investigating events leading to the assault on the government on January 6th, when Pence and lawmakers gathered to certify Biden's victory in the 2020 election.
But, in fact, what was going on was a discussion of evidence of the theft of the election.

A federal jury has found two suspects in a plat to give that Michigan Governor Whitmer not guilty, deadlocked on the other two.
They reached a verdict around 2 p.m.
today for Daniel Harris and Brandon Caserta of not guilty on all charges.
Both have been charged with kidnapping conspiracy, while Harris was also charged with possessing a semi-automatic assault rifle with a barrel less than 16 inches long that wasn't registered.
And may I say, if it's semi-automatic, it's not an assault rifle.
These people have no idea what they're talking about.
The jury found both Harris and Gassert had not guilty on all charges, could not return a verdict on Adam Fox and Barry Croft Jr.
All three, all four were on court for kidnapping conspiracy, but three were facing additional charges.
The jury told the judge around 10.45 a.m.
this morning they were deadlocked on some but not all the charges, and the judge instructed them to continue.
This is the fifth day of double liberation in the trial of Adam Fox, Mary Kraft Jr., Daniel Harris, and Brandon Castorita.
Three also face the additional charges.
They're facing the jury's considering 10 charges in relation to concern of Fox Cross and Harris, but two of them have already been exonerated.
Prosecutors say the conspiracy was fueled by anti-government extremism and anger over COVID restrictions.
The men train with a crudely built shoot house to replicate her vacation home in September 2020.

Now as far as the first story about how rotten the military is, anybody that thinks how wonderful our military is ought to watch an interview about six hours long with Kay Griggs.
Her husband was in the Marine Corps stationed in NATO in Europe And he had to go to parties with the rest of the Marine Corps staff and the guy that in charge of it was a guy named Alan Gray.
As everyone can see, we're getting a lot of interference with our shows.

And then today on the Buck and Clay show, they were the ones that announced the Whitmer rulings, which is really bad news for a whole bunch of government prosecutions.

And she said also in the good news column this week, one of the people that was charged in the January 6th brought videotape of the Capitol Police.
And he asked him if he could come in.
And he said, yeah, there's too many people.
We can't stop them.
Come on in.

Okay, here we have what one might have thought was a lead story today.
Senate confirms Katania Brown-Jackson for Supreme Court.
I have no doubt she's going to be a disaster on the Supreme Court.
She's a Democrat ideologue.
She's not a jurist.
She has no objectivity.
Three Republicans, Romney, Collins, and Murkowski, voted to confirm her.
That's just disgraceful.
Romney failed to explain why he opposed making her a federal circuit court judge just last year and nevertheless switched a voter to become a Supreme Court Associate Justice this.
Collins voted against confirming a Republican president's nominee, Amy Comey Barrett, but yet voted to confirm Jackson.
That's disappointing.
Senate conservatives raise significant concerns about her judicial philosophy, her lack thereof, and her soft-on-crime record.
She refused to say if she holds a position on whether individuals have natural rights—in other words, inalienable rights—that cannot be taken away.
Jackson sentenced those in possession of child pornography to 60% less time than the national average.
Josh Hawley and Ted Cruz and others raised these concerns during the confirmation hearing.
She'd also disagreed with an expert witness definition of pedophilia during a hearing serving as a vice chair of the U.S.
Sentencing Commission.
The then Supreme Court nominee could not answer a question from Senator Marsha Blackburn as to whether she could define the word woman, claiming she's not a biologist.
That was incredible.
Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, a former Judicial Committee chair who voted previously to confirm her as a federal circuit judge, said the following.
My no vote was based on Judge Jackson's record of judicial activism, flawed sexy methodology regarding child pornography cases, and a belief she'll not be detoured by the plain meaning of the law when it comes to liberal causes.
I think that's exactly right.
I found Judge Jackson to be a person of good character, respected by her peers, someone who's worked hard to achieve her current position.
However, Her record is overwhelming in its lack of steady judicial philosophy and a tendency to achieve outcomes in spite of what the law requires or common sense would dictate.
I think that's a very good statement.

Here's a question.
If Justice Clarence Thomas has to recuse himself on cases related to the January 6th because of his wife, does that mean Biden should recuse himself on China and Ukraine because of his son and brother?
Of course.
Presidents never recuse themselves.
But the fact Democrats are crying foul over the Thomases while ignoring that Biden shows their concern about ethics is just cover for another attempted takedown of a respected conservative jurist.
The Post recently confirmed the authenticity of Hunter's emails showing a Chinese energy conglomerate clinked to the Chinese Communists firing the People's Liberation Army, paid $4.8 million to entities controlled by Hunter and his uncle James Biden, Joe Biden's brother, for energy projects that never came to fruition.
We already knew that while then Vice President Biden was in charge of Ukraine policy in the Obama-Biden administration and his son was receiving as much as $50,000 a month from a Ukrainian energy company by banking on his father's name.
That seems a far more serious conflict than Virginia Ginny Thomas sending a bunch of text messages to White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows for spouting conspiracy theories about the 2020 election, which actually, no doubt, were almost certainly all of them true.
Her texts were extreme, but essentially harmless.
She does not sit on the court or hold any position of public authority.
She was and remains a private citizen expressing her personal political views.
Her husband is not responsible for his white political views or political activism.
If her text messages require him to recuse himself, how much more so does Hunter Biden earning millions from China and Ukraine require Biden to recuse himself?
The Post reports, it did not find evidence that Biden personally benefited from her new details about his son and brother's financial engagement with communist China.
Which has clearly been contradicted by a mass of evidence.
I'm surprised Mark Thiessen would even report that because it's obviously false.
He was the big guy.
He was getting 10% of everything.
There's no doubt about it.
There is a Justice Department investigation into Hunter, so we'll see whether such evidence emerges.
It's already there.
It's out in public.
But there's no concrete evidence Clarence Thomas knew details about his wife January 6th's activism or shared his views.
Thomas critics say that doesn't matter.
Even if he didn't know, he must recuse himself because her activism creates the appearance of a conflict of interest.
Well, the same is true of Hunter and James business dealings in Ukraine and China.
The Code of Federal Regulations states that when an executive branch official has a relative with whom the employee has a close personal relationship, And the circumstances would cause a reasonable person with knowledge of the relevant facts to question his impartiality.
The employee should not participate in the matter.
Does Hunter and his uncle, accepting 4.8 million from entities linked to China's government and army, create a circumstance in which a reasonable person would question his father's impartiality?
Obviously, yes.
Because Biden is president, he's not covered by the Code of Federal Regulations.
Clarence Thomas is an associate justice of the Supreme Court, and the Code of Judicial Conduct applies only to lower federal court judges.
A federal statute requires any judge to disqualify himself in a proceeding in which his impartiality might reasonably be questioned.
But it's up to Thomas alone to decide whether he has a contract of interest.
If he does not, in my opinion he does not, then he has a positive duty to not recuse himself.
As Chief Justice Roberts wrote in his 2011 report on the federal judiciary, if an appeals court or district court judge withdraws from a case, there's another federal judge who can serve in that recused judge's place.
But The Supreme Court consists of nine members who always sit together.
So if a justice withdraws from a case, the court must sit without its full membership.
Therefore, Roberts said, a justice cannot withdraw from a case simply to avoid controversy.
Citing Chief Justice William Howard Taft's 1924 canons of judicial ethics, Robert said, a justice's decision on recusal should not be swayed by partisan demands, public clamor, consideration of personal popularity, notoriety, nor unjust criticism.
If anyone's impartiality should be in question, it's that of the House Select Committee on January 6th.
Since only Meadows and the committee had access to his text messages, it appears someone on the committee leaked Ginny Thomas' conversation with Meadows to the media in order to embarrass her husband.
If so, it is disgraceful and irresponsible.
It would call into question the objectivity of the committee, not of Clarence Thomas.
A whole episode has nothing to do with a concern for judicial ethics.
It's simply a continuation of what Clarence Thomas famously called the high-tense lynching he endured during his confirmation hearings, just as the left smeared both him and Brett Kavanaugh to stop him from ever sitting on the court.
They continue to stomp at nothing in an effort to discredit the 6-3 conservative majority as it prepares to hand out key decisions on abortion, gun rights, and racial preferences in college admissions.
Thomas understands this and is not intimidated, which is why he should ignore the partisan demands and nondescript criticism and do his job.

Importantly, if dairy animals are culled because of a lack of grain, it will take many years to rebuild dairy operations to the present level.
Say goodbye to affordable milk, cheese, yogurt, and whey protein.

This is all being done on purpose to create mass chaos and civil unrest.
As this logistic catastrophe unfolds, you're going to see meat prices plummet for a very short period.

A higher price of milk and meat at retail won't have a simple answer.
In case you're thinking that the ranchers and dairy operators could just charge more for everything and get by with increased revenue, you see, dairy and meat products, like almost everything else, sees a sharp drop in demand when prices go higher.
In economics, this is known as demand elasticity.
It means as prices rise, more and more people decide to avoid buying those things.
Higher prices means lower demand.
Ultimately, this means dairy and meat are going to be significantly smaller operations in the coming years, which just happens to coincide with a global effort to banish meat and animal products to be replaced by cultured meat made from the cloned heart, stem, blood cells harvested from baby calves, by the way.
It's not vegan.
It's actually insanely cruel.
With meat and dairy soon getting out of reach for average American consumers, you might think they'd be turning to more plant-based diets.
The problem, of course, is that grains, legumes, fruits, nuts, and veggies are also experiencing alarming levels of price inflation.
Scarcity in these items is getting significantly worse.

Thursday, Biden told Americans he's going to be honest with us, assured us we'd say $80 a month if only we bought a new electric car.
Oddly, he forgot to mention how long it would take to pay off the car to get to the point where the savings would finally kick in.
Speaking from the South Court Auditorium at the Eisenhower Executive Office Building, where he has a fake office, Biden gushed about the technology of the next generation of electric cars, claiming they will be a boon for Americans.
Under his plan, Biden crowed, a typical driver will save about $80 a month from not having to pay for gas at the pump.
What a wonderful savings!
That's a whole $960 a year.
But there's a big problem with realizing the fantastic savings Biden has planned for us.
One has to buy and pay off a new car before any savings it might offer can be realized.
According to NBC News, the average purchase price of an electric vehicle in February was $60,054.
According to the New York Post, it was even higher.
Citing Kelly Bubuck, Post reported the average price of a new electric vehicle in February was $64,685.
That's a huge hike over the average price everyday Americans are paying for cars today.
Adding the cost of an electric car is nearly two and a half times the average price of a new compact at 26,196, Twice the cost of an average car of a new compact SUV at $33,732 and 52% more expensive than the average sports car at $42,555.
Also, just going by Biden's savings, if you spent at least $60,000 on your electric car, your $960 annual savings would take 62 years, six months, and two weeks to get to the break-even point on the price.
The inconvenience of charging an electric vehicle was also ignored by Biden's savings calculation.
I mean, think of the time you'd have to sit at a charging station.
It takes hours and hours and hours rather than a few minutes to fill your tank with gas.
A depleted battery will leave you searching for a charging station.
Right now, there are much fewer in number than gas stations, but leave you at the mercy of charging speeds, which could mean hours of waiting until you're back on the road.
Then we have to figure the geopolitical cost.
Electric vehicles are manufactured using many rare earth elements that come from China.
Greater manufacturing and use of electric vehicles necessarily enriches China, the most oppressive nation on earth.
There's also the dirty secret either Biden or other greedy Democrats want to talk about.
Pervasive use of EVs means not only higher taxes, but brand new taxes imposed on many of us.
Drivers pay a per-gallon gas tax to pay for the road if fewer people are buying gas and paying the tax.
Government will look for new revenue sources.
One proposal is a mileage tax.
With a tax like that, we're giving the government a brand new way to tax us, not to mention track us with government-owned devices installed on our cars to tally the miles we drive.

It will be a blow to the used car market.
The electric vehicle industry admits that electric vehicle battery packs, which cost between $5,000 and $20,000 to replace, last between 5 and 20 years.
Who would want to spend $15,000 to $20,000 on a used EV only to expect to have a $20,000 battery replacement repair bill looming over your head?
It just wouldn't be worth buying a used electric vehicle, which is another stealth cost on American consumers.
We'll be forced to keep buying new cars instead of paying one-third the cost for a reliable used one.
No wonder GM is committed to phasing out gas-powered cars and going exclusively zero-emission vehicles by 2035.
With all these factors added into the reckoning of buying an electric vehicle, Joe Biden's $80 monthly savings easily gets lost in the shuffle, like most things do over the course of 63 years.
