Jim Fetzer in Madison with another Texas Tuesday.
Thrilled to bring together Joe Olson from Houston and Michael Ivey, formerly of Fort Worth.
He hangs out in Asheville, North Carolina now, but he has not forgotten his Texas roots.
So we're here to bring you all the news you need to know.
We begin with Minneapolis rejecting defund the police, increasing the police budget.
Ironic, because it's Minneapolis where the whole movement began in the wake of the, what I take to be, fake death of George Floyd.
The move comes after years of continuing attempt to not just defund the police, but calls from prominent Democrats to dismantle it completely.
The Minneapolis mayor, who's, in my opinion, a pathetic wimp, and the city council agreed on a $1.6 billion budget, including $191 million for the police, bringing it back to almost pre-George Floyd funding levels.
They're going to need more, because once crime becomes rampant, it's very difficult to roll it back.
Very difficult.
The budget was approved just weeks after the department survived a campaign to replace it altogether with some kind of social service effort that would have been another failure.
As calls came from the far left to defund the police, Minneapolis saw funds shifted away to other budget areas.
In 2021, however, defunding the police proved to be the mistake we all knew it would be, where crime statistics in cities it defunded show alarming spikes.
Despite rising crime, Activists are disappointed.
Kenza Hadjad Moussa, a spokeswoman for a progressive active group called Take Action Minnesota, said, I think many in Minneapolis feel dismayed.
We've seen year after year, no matter what's happening with crime, the Minneapolis Police Department always demands more resources.
I think that's pretty damn silly, frankly.
Minneapolis Mayor Frey, who has bounced out of a protest following Floyd's death because he would not support defunding the police, requested more funding for new classes, improving field training, increase in health and wellness program.
Last November, voters in Minneapolis overwhelmingly rejected the idea of replacing a police department with some sort of public safety agency.
Well, Mayor, the citizens have figured out defunding the police doesn't work.
Ilhan Omar actually blamed police for the uptick in crime in Minneapolis.
She said, the police have chosen to not fulfill their oath of office and provide the public safety they're owed to the citizens they serve.
The Minneapolis Police Department is the most dysfunctional in our state and probably in the country.
Some would say that Ilhan Omar is the most dysfunctional and inappropriate member of Congress these days.
She's really, truly outrageous.
And of course, as is well known, married her brother to gain him access to the United States.
She has committed acts that are pretty unconscionable.
Joe, your thoughts?
Yeah, well, the pushback's coming pretty much nationwide.
De Blabio in New York was replaced by a former police officer who's the new mayor who said that we're not just going to let crime run wild on the street.
A lot of people are pushing back against Lightfoot in Chicago.
And then it looks like there's going to be some pushback in San Francisco after the smash and grabs.
A lot of the retail outlets are putting a lot of pressure on the state AG to prosecute these things as state crimes and get it out of the goofy little county district attorney's office.
So, Anna, same thing in Los Angeles.
The chief of police in Los Angeles said, do not come to Los Angeles for the holidays.
We can't guarantee your safety.
So, you know, it's not going to take too much more of this before the public Yeah, I don't get it.

throat for since the Floyd incident. I think the public has already got the
message. Michael, your thoughts? Yeah I don't get it. Who would have guessed that crime would go up if you defund the
police force?
I'm just surprised that the people presumably responsible for having them defunded in the first place, sort of back down and and let it be restored.
In terms of Ilhan Omar, she's insane.
I think it was Rand Paul, but it might have been someone else.
Maybe it was, I can't remember who it was, but one of the senators made a nice statement in which he Delineated, point by point, all the improvements in Ilhan Omar's life that had occurred as a result of coming to the United States, then topped off by being elected to Congress, and then the positions that she's taking against the United States, he summed up by saying, if that's not the definition of ingrateful, I don't know what is.
Yes, in gratitude indeed, Ilhan Omar, the poster child in the dictionary.
Under ingratitude is her photograph.
Meanwhile, the National Center for Public Policy, which seems like a fairly responsible outfit, suggests Jesse Smollett's been found guilty on five felony counts related to the hate crime hoax he perpetrated in 2019 that became one of the initial race controversies helping to fuel Black Lives Matter-related protests.
Even though members voiced early skepticism of Smollett's story, criticized how he used it to create controversy for personal gain, they are heartened justice has been served.
Let justice reign, said Project 21 member Barbara from Harlan.
Finally, Jussie will be held accountable for that mammoth and mega lie intended to cause division and hatred.
We know the story about his claim that two Trump supporters allegedly targeted him because he was black and gay.
The police superintendent was outraged, saw that he had colluded.
One of the keys was when they confronted him in his apartment after the event, he still had the noose around his neck and his subway tuna sandwich had survived.
A special prosecutor grand jury found he'd planned and participated in a staged hate crime, made numerous false statements to the police for which he was prosecuted.
No one should be surprised by the verdict.
It was a prudent and accurate decision by a duly selected jury, said Project 21 member Tim Parrish.
I think that is completely right.
Smollett is black, gay, part of the Hollywood elite, but none of that helped his late-night food run sound any more believable, said Malik Abdul.
The two white, mega-loving Trump supporters assaulting him during a polar vortex turned out to be the hoax we all knew it was.
He was the left-perfect darling who faked a hate crime.
I'm glad justice was served.
Moreover, another member, Charles Butler observed, At the time of the attack, I live two blocks from the scene.
The area is dangerous at noon.
Why would anyone have a reason to be there at 2 a.m.
or out in a polar vortex in Chicago?
If two guys jumped him, he would have had more than a scratch under his eye.
The rope, bleach, and mega hats were too much.
I have a mega hat, but I never wore it out on Chicago Street because some lefty would physically attack me.
He faces three years in prison and a $25,000 fine.
Now, this is fascinating on the psychodynamics of Jussie Smollett, where it appears his defiant attitude on the stand, where he insisted it was all legit, is probably going to work against him when it comes to being sentenced.
Far from showing remorse that might sway the judge in his favor, Smollett, who is 39, has continued to dig in his heels and told his attorney to appeal the verdict.
Experts say stubbornness is among the textbook signs of narcissistic personality disorder that Smollett seems to exhibit, which may have been exacerbated by growing up in an unusual family bubble.
While many watching the case wondered why Smollett would just cut his losses early on, it doesn't work that way with narcissists, observed an expert.
Nothing cuts through the matrix of this arrogance and delusion and entitlement, she said.
They're all defenses against that deep well of insecurity and inadequacy.
Anyone who walks around like this is covering up a stanch, and it's something they don't want others to smell.
Dr. George Simon, another expert on narcissists and manipulators, reports new research shows modern narcissists don't actually suffer from secret low self-esteem and vulnerability.
The nature of narcissists we're seeing in today's indulgent world are those who are truly legends in their own mind.
They're at war with the ultimate power, the truth.
They're setting their own rules, not defensively but aggressively.
They tell you what reality is, and they expect you to believe it.
The six smart kids were united both in their early lives as child stars on a sitcom together, and by their parents' longstanding civil rights activism.
Growing up, we had our own world, Smollett told the Times in 2016.
We called it our Smoll Nation.
The family had their own culture.
Ganged up on anyone who crossed them, siblings said.
The sister Jurnee, who affirmed Jesse's innocence last year in an interview with a Hollywood reporter, said the kids stand by each other no matter what.
That family loyalty coupled with some extraordinary support from powerful people may have hurt Jussie just when he needed someone to straighten him out.
He had these heavy hitters championing and cheerleading all these people in political and legal in the justice world.
Cook County Attorney Kim Foxx, the Obamas, Kamala Harris come to mind.
They did not do him any favors.
His family may also have enabled his grandiose nonsense.
Dr. Simon said the only cure for narcissism such as Smollett Displace is for them to be totally defeated.
But these folks really came.
They have a total adverse of giving into anything they see as bigger than themselves.

Well, he's going to find something bigger than himself, and that's going to be a 10x10 cell for about 3 to 15 years.
I think it's 3 years on each count, and he got 5 counts guilty.
So, anxious to see what the judge does, and I hope he doesn't get out on appeal while they're, you know, Trying to come up with some other excuse for why he did what he did but bottom line is we've got a whole nation that's like five percent of the population that's narcissistic just like that so we all end up having to deal with them in our lifetime and we all end up having no sympathy for them in the end.
Well, this was a political stunt.
He is either Kamala's nephew or cousin.
He campaigned for Kamala.
She had an anti-lynching bill before the Senate, co-sponsored with Cory Booker, no one thought was appropriate.
So immediately when this happened, she called it a modern lynching and declared it as support for her bill, Michael.
Yeah, that's, that's, that's highly suspicious to me the way that went down that you just described, Jim.
I'm also very anxious to see what the judge is going to do at sentencing, and I would bet that that judge, is it a he, a he or a she?
Oh, it's a man, it's a man.
I bet that he's going to receive some phone calls from the likes of the Obamas or their crew and Kamala Harris and Kim Foxx.
It's hard for me to imagine no pressure going on between now and sentencing.
In that article, I thought it was really nice that that black woman from Harlem was standing up for For justice and logic in this case.
It's a really good example of the black community not being monolithic in their thoughts about things like this.
And really, and it's getting even more pronounced in this way, they're not nearly as monolithic as they used to be regarding the Democrat-Republican split.
A lot of them are pretty damn conservative these days.
I thought that was good tongue-in-cheek writing there to say that he had, they found him with the noose still around his neck, but his Subway sandwich had miraculously survived.
Great, great comments from the narcissist experts too.
Matrix of arrogance, delusion, and entitlement.
Well, there's a chief of police who's, of course, himself black-set.
Any black man with a noose around would get him off as soon as possible.
He wouldn't tolerate that thing around their neck.
And the idea that sandwich your vibe?
Give me a break.
I suspect he's going to get six months to a year in jail, men.
Might be more, but I do not believe outside political influence is going to affect this judge.
There's been too much of that in the Smollett case where Kim Foxx, the Cook County State Attorney who dismissed the case earlier because of political influence, set such a horrid example.
The judge is not going to reinforce it.
Michael, you had a further thought?
No, that's all.
Okay.
So I think, by the way, that's one that backfires on the Democrats in three different ways.
Number one, it's a small enough hoax, everyone can get their mind around it.
Number two, the media went all in and it reinforces the fake media.
Number three, it undercuts the critical race theory narrative of the whites being the oppressors.
I think anyone who sees through this, and it was such an obvious hoax, has a more open mind for looking at other cases such as Sandy Hook and perhaps eventually even 9-11.
Meanwhile, the CBO has scored how much Build Back Better would cost if the programs were permanent.
And of course, Biden's claiming they're not permanent, but we don't know of any programs that have been passed by Congress that did not become permanent.
CBO estimates the legislation without sunsets would increase the deficit by over $3 trillion between 2022 and 2031, assuming any extension wouldn't be paid for.
Or Biden insists it's going to pay for itself.
Yeah, when's the last time we saw a government program paying for itself?
Biden claims if any of the programs were extended, they'd be paid for in those subsequent years.
Perpetuating this ridiculous claim.
I welcome a serious conversation about how to pay for the investments we make, but here's what the critics are not telling you.
They're not telling you that I've committed to paying for every single program that extended, if any, our future legislation, whether that's for a day or a decade.
Yeah, he can make that claim, but it's bullshit.
Yeah, the analysis will be important to key moderate Democrats like Joe Manchin, who's long been concerned.
He was just stunned when Lindsey Graham reported.
I talked to him and he was stunned.
He felt vindicated his concerns were legitimate.
Not long after the analysis was posted, Chuck Schumer, the Senate Majority Leader and House Speaker Pelosi, released a statement saying this was a fake report because any extension would be fully offset.
This is incredible nonsense coming from the Democrats.
They seem to think we haven't learned anything about their techniques and how much they've lied to the American people again and again and again.
In the past, and Tucker had a nice clip, they have extolled the virtues of the CBO.
If the CBO says it, you can take it to the bank.
If the CBO reports it, it's accurate.
If the CBO told it, you've got it from a trustworthy source.
But because they don't like what the CBO, this trustworthy source, is reporting now, suddenly it's not accurate, not reliable, not trustworthy, Joe.
Yeah, well, there was a time when government infrastructure projects did pay for themselves and pay for themselves many times over.
That would be like the power and water that we got from the Hoover Dam, the Cooley Dam, the Trenator Valley Association Dams.
Those were all really great projects, but part of the Green New Deal with these clowns is they're going to build 500,000 electric vehicle charging stations.
How are those things going to pay for themselves?
Absolutely insane.
By the time you put the surcharge on the electrical charging for those things, people are just going to leave those goofy electric cars at home and let them rot like they deserve to.
Absolute wall-to-wall insanity, and we can't end this quick enough.

Actually, I did have one other comment, having to do with staging of fake hate crimes, and it would be interesting for me to see if there was as high profile a case is that in against a Jewish individual because the, the, Traditionally, I would say that Jewish individuals are the absolute kings of staging hate crimes like painting swastikas on their churches or dorm rooms or something.
And occasionally, those come up as being that, but they quickly get deep-sixed.
Moving to that next trillion-dollar bill, we keep seeing a string of these multi-trillion-dollar budget bills and emergency appropriations, usually in the name of this phony pandemic ever since it was imposed on everyone.
And it always reminds me of that saying the last act of any collapsing government is to loot the treasury.
I just saw that there had been 500 new billionaires created in America over the last two years, so that'd be interesting to see what the ethnic breakdown of those people is as well.
Let me add in relation to a remark you made about Black support for Republicans.
Actually, in 2019, in December, Rasmussen reported that 40% of Black likely voters were going to support Donald Trump.
Because his border policies meant that they weren't being undercut in their positions by these lower-wage, willing-to-work-for immigrants.
Their lowest-paid wage earners were seeing their wages rise at the highest rate.
So they were gravitating toward Trump.
I think that's part of when the Democrats realized they had to go to grand theft election.
And most black families actually are more conservative.
They're a whole lot like when I grew up in South Pasadena in Southern California in the 50s and 60s.
They have very traditional values.
And voters in Harlem, for example, felt when they were polled that defunding the police would be suicide.
As anyone looking at the statistics can understand, in fact, it was such a nutty idea.
James Carville said it was the dumbest Yeah, just a comment on the theme of looting the Treasury in a collapsing situation.
Governor Austin Fitts is really great on that.
She compares it with a situation where like in those old game shows where ladies were given grocery baskets and they had like two minutes to fill their baskets with everything that they could.
And she says, that's what these big firms like BlackRock and Vanguard are in the process of doing right now.
They're taking these huge trillion dollar bills, getting free money, and they're buying up real assets with them.
Yes, yes, 100%.
Katherine Austin Fitz is brilliant, and she cuts through the crap that Smoking Mirror said.

Yeah, one little footnote.
There's also $65 million in there for infrastructure in the news media.
Any news organization with over a thousand employees that suffered because of COVID, now they're suffering because nobody believes them anymore.
Nobody's buying their advertisers' products.
Their advertisers are losing.
Nobody is buying their circulation, so those are dropping.
So bottom line is, these people are being hurt, and in order to keep the parrots going, the puppets have to do something.
So they're throwing a $65 million trinket to this group so that they can keep them alive for another election cycle.
Absolute insanity.
It's a gift to keep the propaganda ministry afloat.

And putting the Green New Deal front and center with all those charging stations, I mean, it's absurd.
They're out to destroy the gas and oil economy of the United States, which would make us a third world nation.

Meanwhile, a poll shows that Democrats could be in total shambles by the midterm, reinforcing the points we've been making.
The Biden administration is already a lost cause for the Democrats.
The party is bracing for a red wave in 2022.
One poll shows they may be in total shambles by the midterm.
Identity politics seems to be fracturing.
In 2020, Trump got the highest GOP share of the non-white vote since 1960, and the trend doesn't seem to be reversing.
Latino voters now, as opposed to blacks, are essentially split down the middle as to which party they favor.

The nation's large and diverse group of Hispanic voters is showing signs of dividing its support between Democrats and Republicans more evenly than in recent elections, a troubling development for the Democratic Party, which has long counted on outsized Hispanic support.
A year after giving Democrat House candidates more than 60% of their votes, the Journal found Hispanic voters are evenly split now.
Ask which they would back if the election were today.
37% said Republicans, 37% Democrats, 22% undecided.
The left didn't count on their insane policies turning off racial minorities, but that appears to be the case.
Several heavy Latino districts near the border in South Texas, moreover, either went for Trump or narrowly for Biden after Hillary won them by significant margins in 2016.
The Journal continued, Hispanic voters were also divided when asked about a hypothetical rematch between the last presidential contenders, 44% saying Biden, 43% Trump.
In 2020, however, Biden had 63% of Hispanics, nearly 30 points more than Trump.
Even after a persistent fear-mongering campaign from the Democrats and their fake news media allies, Latino voters are essentially split evenly, and I expect the margin to increase substantially between now and the midterm election.
It turns out that wrecking the economy in overwhelming border towns with hundreds of thousands of immigrants is unpopular with Latinos.
Notice a gender split, by the way, particularly wide on Biden versus Trump.
Hispanics overall 44, 43. Men 33 Democrat but 56 Republican.
Hispanic women 55% Democrat, 30% women. All adults 46.
Dem, 45.
Republican.

Very, very bad for the Democrats, which is why I'm predicting they're going to start a war or take down the electric grid to try to sabotage the election from even taking place.

Yeah, well they got another surprise.
I think there's going to be a whole lot of soccer moms that are not real keen on the idea of Uh, drag queen story hour for their kindergartners and their little soccer girls getting the shit kicked out of them on the fields by little boys dressed in girls costumes.
It's like, uh, this stuff is gonna come back on them big time.
And they've embraced a, a, uh, spectrum agenda that is not gonna be embraced by a wide portion of the public.
The problem is that the rhinos will be able to come up with somebody that's palatable to them because I personally am having a hell of a time voting for Trump ever again, and DeSantis, the way he keeps ass-kissing Israel, is like, I'm sorry, DeSantis.
And then he also refused to sign an anti-vax law.
So, you know, he's got some stuff that he's not exactly on point with either.
And, you know, I just don't trust anybody that's been in political office for any length of time.
Which brings up another subject.
I got an email from a state representative today that there's a movement on called Fix2021st.com.
And if there's any way of getting out of this mess, it's going to have to be at the ballot box or the ammo box, and I think we should try the ballot first.
This appears to be evidence that was collected by Mike Lindell, and he was going to submit it to the Supreme Court, but somebody blocked him from being able to make a submission directly to the court, as he had planned to do.
So what this email said to me was that there's 20 state Attorney General's offices so far that have joined in this petition as a suit to the Supreme Court and that State Attorney General Ken Paxton in Texas has not signed on to that.
So, got it.
Michael and Dale is a great patriot in my opinion.
And I say, look, if you had to consider Biden-Harris versus Trump-DeSantis, is that even a close call?
I mean, you know, we understand they have their flaws, but what we have is a total calamity right now, destroying America.
They would not do it in spite of the fact that we would have misgivings, which I share.
Michael, your thoughts?
Maybe Gabbard will come back as a Republican, that's what I say.
I think she's the smartest and has most integrity of any of those people.
So we can only hope that the Dems will be in total shambles after the midterms if the Republicans end up with strong majorities in both houses without anything happening before that.
The criminal's in control of the executive branch, and yes, they are.
Criminal cabal that's in charge of the executive branch right now.
Like you say, Jim, the biggest speculation out there is that they'll probably launch a war somewhere.
That seems to be the primary thing as the only card that they have left in the hole.
Well, historically, wars have brought the American people together to support their president.
I think a Biden war would backfire.
They'd judge it as more of his incompetence, just as his withdrawal from Afghanistan was incompetent, just as getting rid of the XL pipeline, making us dependent on energy again was incompetent.
I do not think there's a way the Democrats can salvage Their situation.
So I agree with the strategist.

Meanwhile, a new bill to strip the unvaccinated of health insurance if they get sick and force them to pay out of pocket is moving forward in Illinois.
To those who aren't paying attention, the demonization and discrimination against the unvaxxed is eerily similar to other dark times throughout history, riddled with suffering and death of millions of innocents all because the median government dehumanized a group of people, convinced the majority they needed to rid themselves of the unclean.
Unscientific vaccine mandates are laying waste to human rights across the planet.
Lacking all logic and reason, even if you've had COVID-19 and have superior immunity to someone who only took the jab, you are denied entry into public places treated like a second-class citizen.
In Australia and Austria, the unvaccinated are fined and even arrested if they attempt to go out in public.
Mainstream news outlets continue to shame the unvaccinated, stoking fear and hatred against them over their personal medical choices.
Biden himself even took to demonizing the unvaccinated, blaming them for the economic downturn, supply chain debacle, and claim without merit they are costing jobs.
Now the state of Illinois is taking segregation and discrimination against the unvaxxed a step further by seeking to strip them of health insurance if they get sick, forcing them to pay for their medical treatment out of pocket.
I think it's time we say, you chose not to be vaxxed, then you're going to also assume the risk that if you do catch COVID and get sick, the responsibility is on you, said State Representative Jonathan Carroll, a despicable inhuman being.
The Thai representative then went on to claim many have frustrations between those who have been following the science and trying to do the right thing and those who are choosing not to be vaccinated, who are able to for whatever they choose.
Apparently, Carol hasn't been reading the latest headlines.
Show hospitals are spiking among the fully vaccinated.
Indeed, the states with the highest vax rates are currently seeing the highest hospitalization in Vermont.
Which has the highest vax rate of any state in the country.
For example, new daily cases are spiking sharply, far higher than southern states with lower jab rates.
More than 72% of Vermonters have been fully vaxed compared with 59 nationally.
Neighboring New Hampshire.
New daily cases shot up 84% in November, compared with 7% over the same period nationwide, despite 64% being fully inoculated in New Mexico.
New daily cases are up 46% in the same period, even though 63% are fully vaxxed.
New York, Minnesota, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, California.
All seen similar spikes despite over 60% being vaxxed.
But to tyrants like Carol, the numbers don't matter.
He and others who lust for power to force you to undergo a medical procedure against your will see the world through blinders and ignore actual science while claiming to follow it.
The bill to strip citizens of their health insurance coverage if they're unvaxxed and contract COVID and force them to pay out of pocket.
If they're hospitalized, is being promoted.
We've tried everything we can do to educate the public on vaccines.
Again, the vaccine is working, he claims falsely, contrary to the evidence.
People are, for whatever reason, choosing not to get it.
No doubt because they prefer not to be put to death by a lethal injection.
Now it's to the point where it shouldn't be the responsibility of those of us who are.
We mailed Carol to ask him how he felt about overeaters, smokers, heavy drinkers, and sedentary folks who put a strain on the health care system, and he feels their life choices, which account for most deaths in the United States every year, should force them to pay out of pocket, too.
Obviously, we don't think anyone should be denied coverage, but by Carol's logic, he should.
That's why we haven't heard back from him, no doubt.

Yeah, well, if you're vaccine hesitant, it's because you have functional gray matter and you've actually done some independent research outside of the CNN echo chamber.
Stu Peters did a great interview about 10 minutes long with a nurse that was undercover.
Because she didn't want to lose her license or her job, but she said that she works in pediatric care and the number of miscarriages, stillbirths, babies that are born with heart defects, jaundice, a whole list of things.

Initial investigation revealed the father, David R., killed his wife, Linda, first, and then his three young daughters, Lenny, Ten, Janney, 8, and Ruby, 4, before committing suicide.
The public chief prosecutor, Uh, said that according to a suicide note, he'd obtained a forged vaccination certificate for his wife.
However, his employer found out about the forgery, said they would go to the police, leaving the couple in fear they would be imprisoned and have their children removed.
When asked, the prosecutor said, we don't know whether the employer wanted to go to the police or only threatened to take the action.
