Get ready for an outstanding entertainment program.
The Jimmy Dore Show.
Hey, this is Jimmy.
Who's this?
Jimmy, it's BB.
Hello, Mr. Prime Minister Netanyahu.
What?
No BB?
Nope, no BB.
No BB for you, buddy.
Well, that's a shame.
I was looking forward to our old familiarity.
Things are rough for me right now.
Jimmy, I am beset with a great challenge.
Yeah, what's that great challenge?
Ethnic cleansing?
No.
Writing a BB sketch for this week that's funny.
Yeah, that's going to be difficult.
Does it bother you that the entire world is looking at your actions right now with horror and disgust at all?
Jimmy.
What?
Take a deep breath.
Calm down.
Don't tell me to calm down.
Okay, now you're beginning to sound a little bit like an anti-Semite.
Excuse me?
Like Alan Dershowitz said, scratch the surface of any critic of Israel, and you usually find a rabid anti-Semite.
And that, my friend, is the only arrow left in our rhetorical quiver, and we're going to use it.
Israel has a right to defend itself.
Oh, boy, here we go.
Against our enemies who attack us and wish us nothing but death and critics of all stripes who have even a semblance of a moral center.
Is it true that you have spoken privately with President Biden on the phone and that he has finally urged you to call a ceasefire?
We have spoken, yes.
And look, Joe is a personal friend of mine, as well as a stalwart ally of Israel.
We've known each other for four decades.
We met when he was an up-and-coming neo-segregationist, and I was a young brash war criminal.
We have a good working relationship and an understanding.
Oh, yeah?
What kind of an understanding?
That Israel is going to do whatever the fuck it wants.
Yes, Biden may urge calm or peace, gently, meekly, but we all know the drill here.
Yes, yes, we do.
Quite frankly, I admire Joe's resilience.
His resilience in standing up to the radicals in his own party who are clamoring for the ITF to stop murdering children.
Stay out of it.
But consequently, he is winning over members of the GOP.
It takes a real statesman to achieve that kind of bipartisanship during a time of crisis.
Oh, I see.
Oh, yeah, that kind.
America is a great ally of Israel, but you need to butt out.
Just because you bankroll this campaign of terror doesn't mean you get a say on when it ends.
And when will it end?
When Hamas is stripped of its ability to attack Israeli citizens.
And how is that point defined?
When every possible place that a member of Hamas could be standing at any given moment is struck by a missile.
And make no mistake, every Palestinian could conceivably be Hamas.
We must be surgical in these strikes.
Do you realize some people are speculating that this situation may be a turning point on how the world, including the United States, views Israel?
That people are going to wake up and realize that they can no longer support the wholesale slaughter of innocent women and children for the flimsiest pretexts of self-defense.
Do you see that reality?
Jimmy, we are Israel.
Our very existence is predicated on a fallacy.
The idea that long ago the Hebrews dominated all of the land between the sea and the River Jordan, and that that gives us the right to steal homes from native Palestinians and give them to rich people for Manhattan.
These ideas are not even rooted in history.
They're a tenant of our religious texts.
But we kill for them.
We always have, and we will never stop.
Once we secured the alliance of the American fundamentalist Christian, the only one more deluded than we are, we knew we would be unstoppable.
So no, we are not, we are afraid of nothing, Jimmy, especially not reality.
Well, history shows, BB, that oppressed people will eventually throw off their chains.
Yes, Jimmy, I agree.
And very soon the oppression of the wealthy, highly militarized Israeli people will end when the penniless and powerless Palestinians are driven completely to the sea.
Well, okay, sir.
I'll look forward to seeing you at The Hague.
All right now, enjoy being an anti-Semite.
Hard to make that funny, but you did a good try.
I warned you up front.
Establishment media sets on its lighting.
Oh, good luck.
Bullshit, we can't afford.
Why is fomenting this?
Oh, oh, oh.
Watch and see as the jack-off.
Comedium speeds and jumps comedium and hits him head on.
It's the Jimmy Door show.
So I'm here with world-famous journalist Aaron Matte and world-famous comedian Ron Placone.
And I want to remind everybody that they said Trump was in the pocket of Putin.
And they and we, as we pointed out on this show, and as Aaron Matei has pointed out on his show and other places, that there was just as much evidence indicating that Trump was not doing the bidding of Putin.
In fact, there was more than there was evidence saying that he was.
And here's another example of that, right?
So there was Nord Stream 2.
Trump approved sanctions on Russia gas pipelines.
So they wanted to get Russia wants to sell gas to Europe and to Germany.
And so Trump put a sanction on that, right?
So what is this?
That's 2019, December 2019.
So this is May 2021.
Biden to waive sanction on the company in charge of Nord Stream 2.
This is real.
The Biden administration will waive sanctions on the corporate entity and CEO overseeing the construction of Russia's Nordstream 2 pipeline into Germany.
That's real.
Boy, wow.
The completion of Nordstream 2 would be a huge geopolitical win for Putin and give him substantial new leverage in Europe.
And he's already the most powerful person on the planet, right?
According to the liberals, like Keith Olbermann and Rachel Badow.
And now he's going to even have more power.
This could get really scary.
And Joe Biden's facilitating all this.
Stunning.
This is from Ted Cruz.
He says, in defiance of U.S. law, Joe Biden is actively helping Putin build his pipeline.
Objectively speaking, the Biden administration is shaping up to be the most pro-Russia administration in modern era.
Ted Cruz is right about this.
This might be the only time Ted Cruz is speaking out against pipelines.
Probably the first and the last.
This is it.
What does Putin have on Biden?
Is Robert Mueller available?
This is what Aaron Matei says because he does open mics.
He's very funny.
The saddest part is that Biden's P-Tape is 11 minutes long.
That's the sad part.
That's a great joke from.
Yeah, that's a really great job.
Gotcha.
Good joke.
Malcolm.
In real Russia, so then people still won't stop.
So underneath your tweet, so you tweeted this out, or underneath Ted Cruz's tweet saying this, someone said in real Russia-related news, Trump colluded with Russia, and it's all documented in the Mueller report.
Yes.
I guess it must be an invisible ink written on the last page because nobody's ever seen that stuff that documented the collusion with Russia.
In fact, it was the exact opposite.
The Mueller report concluded that there was no collusion between Trump, anybody in the Trump campaign, and anybody in Russia.
That was the conclusion.
But people still, this has got 93 likes.
That got 93 likes.
As Joe Biden takes off a sanction that Donald Trump put on, as Joe Biden does the bidding of Vladimir Putin, they're still saying Trump is in bed with him.
I want to give you one more piece of information.
Donald Trump's ambassador to Russia, he's got to be corrupt and working for Putin.
Donald Trump picked him.
Joe Biden kept him.
Joe Biden appointed Donald Trump's ambassador to Russia.
He kept him on.
Uh, uh, I don't.
I don't know.
I feel like a chump.
I feel like someone was goofing on me for four fucking straight years.
I feel like the whole, I feel like the whole established community was playing a big goof on me.
Are you shitting me?
The Biden administration recently decided to keep the Trump appointed U.S. ambassador on the job in Moscow.
And why did they do that?
I thought that they were all compromised.
Well, John Sullivan has been on the job for almost a year, a year and a half.
He was Trump's ambassador to Russia.
He is viewed by the Biden administration as a steady hand.
How could that possibly be?
Jank Uger must, we must literally be cleaning shit out of his pants right now.
Rachel Maddox must be slapping on an extra long pair of eyelashes so she can fan this one out.
They're keeping Trump's Russia ambassador.
Let me go to Aaron Mate, who won the Independent News Award for his debunking, his meticulous debunking of the Russia Gate conspiracy theory, which was evidence-free.
So, Aaron, what do you say about all this?
Joe Biden taking off the sanctions and Joe Biden keeping the ambassador that Donald Trump picked for Russia.
What the F?
This is yet more evidence that the people who chose to believe against all the available evidence for more than three years, four years now, that Russian social media bots and email hackers had the power to sow chaos and turn America against itself, and that Donald J. Trump and his campaign conspired with it secretly.
These people are a part of a cult called Bluenon.
Yes.
It's, I think, as dumb as QAnon.
I don't know QAnon too well, but Bluenon's pretty stupid, this idea that the president of the U.S. is a Russian agent and that Vladimir Putin can destroy our society with his social media bots.
That sounds pretty stupid to me.
But I would argue that it's more dangerous than QAnon because QAnon was relatively fringe.
I mean, a lot of people, but not the mainstream of society.
Whereas Bluenon was every single major cable news network, all the major news outlets, the major opposition party in Congress, including its leaders like Nancy Pelosi, who would say constantly is our mantra, all roads lead to Putin, and Adam Schiff, who would say that he secretly saw evidence of Trump-Russia collusion.
It's dangerous because not only is it moronic, all these dumb theories that they believed, you know, about a P-tape and whatever, secret spies in the Trump, secret Russian spies, all this stuff, but it was dangerous because to justify their conspiracy theory, they had to overlook the reality of Trump's actual policies,
which if you were watching Jimmy Dore and the gray zone throughout this time, you could have learned that Trump was making things actually a lot more dangerous with Russia because he was surrounded by hawks and they were pursuing an extremist pro-war neocon agenda.
They sold more weapons to Ukraine than Obama did.
They ramped up spending on nuclear weapons.
Trump tore up all these vital nuclear weapons treaties, including the INF and Newstart.
Trump bombed Syria twice.
The government of Bashra al-Assad, which is an ally of Russia.
Trump launched a coup in Venezuela, another key ally of Russia.
All these things were drastically making tensions worse with Russia.
But the mainstream media and Democrats ignored all this because it undermined their conspiracy theory and also because their rhetoric was actually demanding that Trump be more confrontational with Russia.
So when he actually was doing what they supposedly wanted him to do, they couldn't acknowledge it because it undermined their narrative that he really was doing Vladimir Putin's bidding.
So this was an extremely dangerous cult.
And the absurdity of it is captured with news like what we're seeing now, where whereas Trump tried to block construction of this Nord Stream 2 pipeline, this vital project for Russia, which basically connects it to Western Europe through Germany, Biden now comes in and he is reversing that.
And he is dropping the Trump effort to sanction the pipeline.
He's accepting it.
And that is a big victory for Russia.
And I think it's a good thing because it will reduce tensions and it means that people will get cheap energy and it's good for everybody, I think.
But the point is, it doesn't get acknowledged for the absurdity that it shows about Russia gate.
Because look, if Trump did this, if Trump dropped the sanctions, he'd be called a Putin traitor and Putin's puppet and all that.
When Biden does it, it just gets ignored.
100% ignored.
It's act like it's not even happening.
I personally am withholding all judgment until I see Trump's tax return from 2008.
I think, Aaron, you summed it up.
Yeah, I think you summed it up perfectly.
I would love to see if Rachel Maddow or Anderson Cooper or whoever, who else covered this in the mainstream news.
I like to see, did the young Turks cover this and say, oh, it turns out we were idiots for five fucking years on purpose.
This is ridiculous.
No, I'm going to guess they did.
I'm going to guess they didn't.
Nobody covered this.
That would be my guess.
Have you seen any coverage of this, Aaron?
I haven't.
And then I just come back to the nerve of these people to make fun of QAnon.
The nerve of them.
They're making fun of people who believe in conspiracy theories.
When they promoted the most dangerous one of all.
And one of the dumbest conspiracy theories in human history that I can think of.
This idea that Trump is really an agent of Putin.
I mean, think how dumb that was.
But yet, this was the way to be accepted in mainstream media.
And this was treated as something serious.
And those of us who didn't go along with it, we were treated as pariahs somehow.
It's funny.
Unfortunately, it was so dangerous for the world and everything.
But comedy-wise, it's pretty funny.
You would think it.
The problem is not enough people understand the premise.
They just think it's...
Most people just take Russiagate as fact.
Because they've heard it for five years straight from every reliable news source that it is a fact.
A 100% fact.
You know, again, whenever my college roommate calls you up and he's like, Oh, hey, have you heard about this QAnon?
I know it's just we're fucked.
I mean, he's worried.
He's worried.
The guy's about to have his house taken away because he hasn't been able to make a living because of COVID.
Yeah.
And he was worried about QAnon.
Yeah.
And you're not mad at Joe Biden and the Democrats who are not giving you COVID relief so you can pay your fucking mortgage.
No.
No.
And I was just going to add, too.
Like, and Aaron, you kind of touched on this where while this whole thing was going on for four freaking years, which is, God, it's so crazy that it just kept going and going.
But while all that was going on, they were not only ignoring what was actually going on around the world and what was actually going on in relation to Russia, but also they were ignoring everything that was going on domestically.
Absolutely.
of pointing this out there were bigger liberal protests to save the job of jeff boregard sessions whatever his name is than the beauregard sessions than to oppose trump's tax heist one of the biggest upward transfers of wealth in u.s history that was the state of liberal politics of the resistance under trump more concern for jeff sessions job than stopping these pro-elite tax cuts and you can go on to many other issues
and make that comparison it's so embarrassing we let down this country the world and future generations by being consumed with this dumb conspiracy theory and the funny thing is it's still going so i just actually had a big story today that i put out it's on my sub stack which i just launched which is mate at mate.substack.com and it's about this most recent russia gate claim where the treasury department put out this press release about this guy constantly kalimnik who was a manafort aide and he's one of the few people in the trump orbit
like relatively close to the Trump campaign, who has a Russian passport.
What they did with him is they basically used him to try to keep the Russiagate narrative alive.
But with Treasury claiming all of a sudden that he passed secret Trump polling data to Russian intelligence in 2016 and that he's actually a Russian spy.
Now, this press release had no evidence whatsoever.
It was already public.
It was just one sentence saying this.
It was already public knowledge that's polling data, correct?
Yeah, it was basically like him taking headlines from like real clear politics, like
trump 43 clinton 42 and sending it to manafort's clients in ukraine and by the way to u.s officials which is documented actually even in the mueller report and just saying hey are our boy's in the race he's doing good and for manafort's clients he was trying to say look our our boy is doing well so maybe you want to think about doing business with me in the future because manafort's going to be valuable and also they were trying to get some money that was owed to them so but the russia gators take this turn this into a conspiracy theory that kalimnik was really sharing polling data with
with Russian intelligence.
And even though the Mueller report found no evidence of this whatsoever and plenty of evidence to contradict it, all of a sudden, two years later, just last month in April, the Treasury Department out of nowhere revived it and everybody went crazy and talked about this being finally the Russiagate smoking gun.
And the funny thing is that news came on the same day that the Biden administration quietly admitted that the Russian bounty story in Afghanistan was bullshit.
So even though Biden just tells us, oh, yeah, this big thing we were hyperventilating about for five months about the bounties.
Yeah, sorry, that's not true.
This other conspiracy theory gets floated about Kalimnik and everybody seizes on it.
So what I just published today is this long article where I interviewed Kalimnik and I talked to him.
He points out there's no evidence for any of these claims against him.
He says Mueller, the FBI, no one's ever contacted him, which is exactly what happened with Julian Assange.
For some reason, this pivotal figure in Russiagate was never contacted by the investigators supposedly looking into it, which is very curious.
You wonder why.
why and he actually he gave me evidence that undermines one of muellers key claims about him because look mueller couldn't accuse him of being a russian spy because he had no evidence so what muell did in his report and this is what fueled all this innuendo about kalimnik mueller said that kalimnik has these unspecified ties to russian intelligence which he didn't explain and what he did to try to substantiate that is he said that among several things kalimnik traveled to the u.s once on a russian diplomatic passport and he said and and
the the insinuation there is that a diplomatic passport uh is a cover for an intelligence officer because intelligence officials will sometimes travel the countries under diplomatic cover but i got kalimnik's actual passport and visa from that period that mueller says in the u.s on a so-called diplomatic passport and mueller was wrong he was here on a normal civilian passport so mueller got something seriously wrong and i put that to mueller and to andrew weissman his top prosecutor they didn't respond to
I put it to the Justice Department and the FBI.
They declined comment.
But it's just one more example of these explosive Russiagate claims being used to push conspiracy theories, being undermined by the actual facts when they come out much later.
And how because we're not interested in doing journalism here, but pushing a narrative, it just doesn't matter.
It doesn't penetrate the mainstream.
What people don't realize about they still think that Russia got they interfered in our election.
It did say that in the Mueller report.
It was widespread and deep and all this shit.
There's what they're talking about is troll farms and at best, maybe one hundred thousand or two hundred thousand dollars spent on these troll farms at best.
You know how much free media they gave to Donald Trump?
Two billion dollars in free media.
Chris Hayes would do his whole show with Trump's empty podium on a camera over his shoulder.
Don't tell me that Russian trolls through this election.
Two billion dollars in free media was given to Donald Trump.
And that's what through this election, you big fucking liars.
Hello.
Hi, folks.
Do you folks miss me yet?
No.
Is this former President Barack Obama?
No, just former President Barack Obama.
But dad, husband, citizen, author, producer, and comedic actor.
In your fucking faces, multi-hyphenates.
Hey, did you hear me on one of those podcast things you kids like nowadays?
What do you call them anyway?
A podcast.
Yeah.
You're on the ball with all the technical advancements.
Yes, not like us ordinary folks.
We got to spend our day occupied with ordinary folk stuff.
Like talking about being a man on one of those podcast things.
You hear it?
Yeah, I guess I missed it, Barack.
You talked about manhood.
Yeah.
We didn't just talk about it, Jimmy.
We examined it.
We examined masculinity on the Art of Power podcast.
And get this.
It was hosted by a girl.
Times are changing, my man.
Times, they are changing.
What did she ask you?
She was all like, what does it mean to be a man?
And I was all like, oftentimes, the narrow definitions that we provide our boys growing up about what it means to be a strong, powerful, admired, a man, seep into how we think about public policy process and how we organize our societies.
Wow.
Awesome answer, right?
Yeah, sure, I guess.
But could you put it in more folksy terms?
Guys, listen up.
Ladies, take a break.
Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
Am I right?
That's it.
I said, guys, listen up.
So listen up.
This notion of sacrifice is one that you youngsters in your generation know what, Jimmy?
There's an arc to progress.
A big arc full of bullshit double talk, the likes of which you've never seen before.
Yeah.
And if you think you're going to get health care and save the environment without first having to waste your life listening to people like me shovel the same shit from one bucket to another, you're living in a world of unicorns.
And pull your fucking pants up.
Hey, what else did you reveal about your presidency during your interview?
On my first day in the White House, I learned there's no warehouse full of spaceships and aliens from another planet.
No.
Martian men, listen up.
Women from Venus, take a break.
Mr. President...
LAUGHTER LAUGHTER LAUGHTER So stupid.
Mr. President, what's your opinion regarding what Joe Biden is doing about Israel's treatment of the Palestinians?
I read a lot of opinions on the matter, and I really think the word bungled is a bit overused here.
How would you describe it?
I just wouldn't use the word bungled.
I prefer one of Joe's expressions, like fusel, muff, bobble, fluff, and cock it up.
You know what I mean?
Joe's a good guy.
I trust Joe Biden.
And I stand by my original statement of support for Joe Biden's original statement supporting a ceasefire, but not really demanding one.
What would you do if you were still president?
As you know, as president, I consulted with the most knowledgeable foreign policy experts of our time.
Yeah.
Like Hillary Clinton, Henry Kissinger, Joe Biden, and the ghost of Richard Nixon.
Yes.
I'd probably ask all those folks.
Ultimately, I've discovered the best path towards peace is to continually call for de-escalation while doing the exact opposite.
In other words, Israelis, take a break.
Palestinians, pull up your damn trousers.
That's horrible.
How can you be so obtuse, Barack?
Our dog died, okay?
How can you be so insensitive?
Or don't you read our social media accounts anymore?
Get with it.
And don't forget to watch my new Netflix series, Pull Your Pants Up.
Damn it.
An exploration of our great national parks hiking trails.
Keep the hope.
Jesus.
All right.
Cock it up.

We give you lots of bonus content.
Thanks for your support.
Hi, everybody.
I'm here with world-famous comedian Ron Placone and world-famous journalist Aaron Mate.
And right now we're covering, guess what?
Israel killed 10 children while bombing the road to Gaza's main hospital.
42 killed altogether.
Bombed in their beds and in their homes.
These are civilian targets.
The targeting of civilians is intentional.
Why do I tell you that?
Because guess what?
Biden administration just approved a $735 million in weapons sales to Israel right now in the middle of this.
That's from May 17th.
That's right now in the middle of this.
There it is.
Wow.
Didn't they hear Biden ask Netanyahu nicely for a ceasefire?
I think that's the important part here.
In disgraceful cave to Biden administration, Meeks won't request a delay of $735 million in U.S. arms sales to Israel.
Congressman Gregory Meeks, the Democratic chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, has opted against requesting a delay of the Biden administration proposal, proposed $735 million munition sale to Israel, a decision that progressives immediately slammed as a gross capitulation to the White House.
Meeks backtracked on his Monday vow to send a letter asking the Biden administration to postpone final approval of the deal.
Meeks dropped his push for a delay after late night discussions with senior Biden administration officials who urged the New York Democrat not to send the letter.
A letter.
Instead, the Biden administration has agreed to brief members of the House Foreign Committee to brief.
Instead, the Biden administration has agreed to brief members of the House Foreign Committee.
One source told CNN the briefing is expected to happen this week That's what they got out of it a freaking briefing Well, guess what?
And AOC is introducing a resolution to block the bomb sales to Israel.
So amidst Israel's devastating assault on Gaza, New York Congresswoman Alexander-Lanagan is preparing to introduce a resolution that would block the United States'$735 million sale of bombs to Israel.
The resolution Alexander-Lanagan will introduce is known as a joint resolution of disapproval.
Once introduced...
speaker of the house typically refers this type of bill to the house foreign affairs committee which has jurisdiction over arms sales.
Obstacle, obstacle to the resolution getting anywhere is that any JRD on arms sales to Israel can only be considered for 15 days after Congress is notified of a planned sale.
Because Congress was informed of this sale on May 5th, the House has only until May 20th to consider it.
This is funny.
Come on, this is a nice sketch.
It's unlikely the resolution will get past the 51-member committee, which includes well-known pro-Israel legislators on both sides, both the Democratic and Republican sides.
However, if a senator introduced a resolution before the end of May 20th, the bill would be required to get a vote in the Senate.
Can I give you a prediction that you could take to the bank?
No senator will introduce this resolution.
I don't know, but maybe Bernie Sanders will fake us out.
Fingers crossed, he could, right?
Maybe Bernie Sanders is that's what he wants to do.
I don't know.
Let's go to our panel.
Ron and Aaron Matte, please jump in.
What do you think about this?
I think this is all theater.
It's definitely theater.
Meeks totally caved.
He was going to put a hold on this, and then he backtracked.
All it took was a call from the Biden administration, who obviously bullied him, and he caved.
And he was supposed to be this new progressive head of the Foreign Affairs Committee.
The previous head, Elliot Engel, who was thankfully primaried and defeated by Joel Bowman, was a complete Israel hawk.
But it shows that even when it switches over to someone who's more progressive, that when they try to take a stand, they get bullied and they cave.
And what AOC did is good, but as you suggest, it came way too late because now there's only one day for this to be debated.
And the only way that there's a hold on this will come if someone introduces a measure in the Senate like Bernie Sanders.
But I do want to say that, look, there is a positive.
In 2014, when Israel was massacring civilians in Gaza throughout the summer, all the Democrats lined up to support it.
Even Bernie Sanders, when he was asked about it, he was defending Israel's attacks on Gaza.
Now we have a situation in 2021 where politically that's no longer tenable.
And when this arms sale first happened, when Congress was first told about it, nobody said anything.
Nobody objected.
But now there's been so much public outrage and so much disgust at Israel's atrocities that some people in the Democratic Party felt compelled to act.
And whether it's performance or not, it just shows that the public conversation has improved from 2014.
And that is a credit to activism, to the Palestinian community in this country and their allies that have been mobilizing more and are trying to put pressure on the people who really should be pressured most, Democrats, because look, we all know that Republicans are going to support Israel, get behind them.
That's a given, especially given the firm far-right evangelical Christian support for Israel.
But Democrats who now pretend that they care about Black Lives Matter and that they oppose white supremacy, they're in a very awkward position because they're meanwhile in lockstep with a Jewish supremacist state in the Middle East, which is killing people to enforce that Jewish supremacy, killing people inside this concentration camp known as Gaza.
So it's Democrats who should feel the heat.
And the fact that AOC did this and has some support from a few others is a reflection that public pressure is growing.
See, I'm a little more optimistic than both of you.
When I think of important issues to me, I think ending the wars, I think Medicare for all.
And the third thing I think of is House briefings.
I mean, I actually, I wake up in the middle of the night and I say to my wife, why aren't there more House briefings?
And she says, you know, someday, someday.
No, I think, yeah, I mean, this is too little, too late, likely.
Am I hoping for something, you know, like some miracle in the 11th hour?
Sure.
I mean, I was just Googling it right now to see if there's any updates in real time here, but certainly not betting on it.
Um, it's...
It's stunning the bullshit that just keeps coming out of the Democratic Party.
It's just nonstop gaslighting you into pretend.
They want you to think they're fighting for something and they're not fighting for anything.
We're going to do another story right after this story about how Bernie Sanders and AOC are out there pretending to fight for the $15 minimum wage.
Why do I say pretending, Jimmy?
Well, because when they had leverage to make sure people got the $15 minimum wage, they refused to use it or even talk about using it.
So now they want to pretend they're all for it.
That's just garbage.
And this is garbage too.
Again, 15, there's a whole day for this to get through a committee and get a vote on it.
There's a whole day.
Thanks for doing that.
I thought it was like this is protection.
Like this is being able to say we didn't do nothing.
Right.
That's exactly.
This is, again, they are actually doing nothing, but they want to be able to put this up.
Just like, why did they, Ron, why do you think Pramila Jayapel reintroduced the Medicare for all bill knowing it would never come up for a vote?
So she could run on it.
So you say, look, I introduced this.
Look, all these people are co-sponsors, but she'll never would never try to actually get a vote on it.
So this is all theater.
This is all to confuse their own followers.
It's disgusting.
It really is.
They're complicit, but they want to give a head fake, right?
They want to pretend like they really are fighting for something.
They're not.
I can't think of anything Bernie Sanders has fought for in the last six months.
Nope.
Can't think of anything.
Well, we'll see.
Look, we'll see, Jimmy.
Look, if he does not put a hold on this in the Senate, then that will just be disgraceful.
And he should be hammered for that because this is an opportunity to actually do something.
It would be very simple.
You know, look, the U.S. is still going to arm Israel, but it would be a huge symbolic victory if during this massacre, somehow some lawmakers could stand up and say, we're not going to be funding this mass murder and not arming this mass murder.
So we'll see if Bernie Sanders, who's talked a lot about supporting Palestinian rights, he's written an op-ed about it in the New York Times recently.
You know, he did evolve in 2016 after he became a candidate.
He sort of helped bring the plight of the Palestinians to a more mainstream audience.
And so he deserves credit for that.
We'll see actually if he'll do something here.
And if he doesn't, that'll be very damning on him.
Okay.
Well, fingers crossed.
But who's being naive, Kay?
Hey, Bernie Sanders is calling me.
Hello.
Hello, you pest.
Did you notice how I called you first and stood up for you to call me?
That's what I call a preemptive pest defense.
You're welcome.
What would you like to tell America, Bernie?
I'm here to tell you that even after Neeraton, even after all the bullshit with the $2,000 checks, even after Completely crapping all over Medicare expansion and the public option, even after littering in his administration with security state flunkies and Wall Street puppets, even after all these things, I still think I can shape Joe Biden's agenda in a certain direction.
Are you serious, Bernie?
Do I not sound serious?
No.
When have I ever not sounded serious?
I am so serious right now.
Even my hands are sitting in stunned silence with zero flapping motion.
Take, for instance, this big muck up with Israel that's going on again.
Let me finish, please.
I'd appreciate it.
I honestly believe I can persuade Joe, who, by the way, is a friend of mine, to revisit some of our funding for Israel, who, by the way, is a friend of America.
But in that manner, we may finally move in a positive direction of change with the movement and the changing of directions and the positivity.
What?
Wow, that would be a good start, Bernie.
I know it's a big thing, but keep this in mind.
By revisit, I mean, we need to take a hard look.
In other words, view it from a different angle, meaning alternative viewpoint.
And by alternative viewpoint, I'm suggesting we could perhaps take a look at it from a different perspective.
Will you wait?
God damn it.
I'm not finished.
I was going to say, I wasn't saying anything.
I wasn't saying anything.
The hell you weren't.
You were about to ask, well, Bernie, what exactly do you mean by different perspective?
Because so far, all I've heard are meaningless planets.
We'd just like some more details.
That's all.
Listen closely because I'm only going to say this a few hundred times before completely giving up on it in the name of political expediency.
I'm currently negotiating with an unnamed person or persons within the Joe Biden administration to set up a special unity.
Oh, God.
I propose writing a proposal for thinking about perhaps going about things in a slightly different revisiting manner.
Satisfied in what different manner?
By withholding part of the funding for their high-end dome defense system.
Right now, they have a dome that's more like a bubble with the event hole.
They don't need the rims of that dome curving 30 yards deep on the ground.
That's just a waste of good dome material that could be used elsewhere.
You think dome grows on trees?
That's all, Bernie.
Let me finish.
I am proposaling.
Yes, I just made that word up.
I am proposaling revisiting all of our aid to Israel, which essentially means to visit again.
Or, hey, let's go there again and talk about it some more, stuff like that.
Oh, okay.
How are you going to go about that?
One avenue we could oversee again would be oversight, meaning we revisit our oversight and oversee once again the revisitation of our oversight.
Jesus Christ.
Is this getting too highbrow for your ass?
Because I can dumb it down a notch if you like.
Anyway, once we receive the new findings from our proposed task force, that's when we can take action.
And when do you expect the findings from your proposed oversight unity task force to come out?
After we get the proper funding.
So somewhere around World War V, give or take a few extinctions.
And if you're not happy with that, I fuck.
I fucking give up.
What is it with you people?
Okay, thanks for calling, Bernie.
This has been very helpful.
Goodbye, and see you in court.
Okay, so guess what?
There's a strike happening today.
Today, Sanders and Ocasio Court says join the McDonald's workers to demand $15 minimum wage.
Workers at McDonald's stores in 15 cities, including Los Angeles, Chicago, Kansas City, and Detroit, organize Walkout Wednesday with the national advocacy group called Fight for 15.
In addition to the strike, public actions are taking place in dozens of cities, and workers and supporters are rallying outside of McDonald's corporate headquarters in Chicago ahead of the company's annual shareholders meeting.
So that's a good idea.
A spokesperson for McDonald's told Business Insider Tuesday that, get this, you ready for this, Ron?
It's the responsibility of the federal and local government to set minimum wage.
So this is a capitalist telling you, I don't know what to pay my workers.
The government is supposed to tell me.
Wow.
Isn't it interesting that the capitalist wants the government to set his wages?
I find that double CK.
Yeah, it's pretty shameless.
So that's his rebuke to the people asking for a decent living wage.
It's like, hey, tell the government to give it to you.
That's what they're saying.
Tell the government to pass a law to make us pay you a living wage.
Yeah, I'm not going to treat you with dignity unless I have to by law.
And guess how much profit they made?
They made $5 billion in profit.
Not $5 billion.
$5 billion after everybody was paid and all the bills were paid and all the $5 billion in profit.
No employer needs to wait for Congress to raise a minimum wage to pay fairly.
And the CEO, you know, the CEOs of McDonald's, I mean, it's like hundreds and hundreds to one.
Right.
The CEO to worker pay.
Like it's in the hundreds.
They're being McDouchebags is what they're being.
Yeah.
Yeah.
But we're here to let you know that McDonald's, we are your profit.
We are the ones who make the burgers, make the fries and everything's inside the store.
So it's not right that we get paid so little.
And I agree.
Why should McDonald's make $5 billion in profits and the people who generate that profit don't get to share in it?
That's ridiculous.
They should have a living wage.
Why should the managers and the owners and the shareholders and the investors of McDonald's get to make a living wage, but the people who generate that money, all those, they don't get to have a living wage?
That doesn't make sense.
AOC, who remember, refused to use her leverage for the $15 minimum wage in the COVID bill.
She refused to use her leverage to get a vote for Medicare for all.
She refused to vote as a block with the Justice Democrats to get anything.
Here's what she said.
She said this yesterday.
It is because you are out there mobilizing that we can point to that organizing and say, this is how bad the people want it.
So she's saying because that the fight for 15 people are striking today, that now she can finally push for $15 minimum wage.
She was waiting for them to go and do a strike So that she could, this is what she's saying.
Listen to the whole thing.
It is because you are out there mobilizing that we can point to that organizing and say, this is how bad the people want it.
This is what they are, in fact, demanding.
And because you are doing the work that we can point to, it allows us to create the political pressure necessary to keep pushing.
Because you all are organizing, they can't ignore, because you all are organizing on the outside.
They can't ignore us on the inside.
By the way, Fight for 15 has been organizing for eight fucking years.
So her to pretend like this is the first time they ever did.
Now we can push.
Guess what?
This is from February, right before you voted on the COVID bill and you didn't get the $15 minimum wage for people.
This is, this is that they were striking then.
Look what the date is.
February 15th.
Fast food workers to strike and fight for $15 minimum wage as lawmakers battle over minimum wage hike.
Why didn't you do something then, AOC?
We all know, why?
Because she's full of shit.
This is from February 15th.
That's before the COVID relief bill passed.
They were doing exactly what they're doing now.
They were doing then.
And AOC is pretending like this just started today.
Oh, good.
You guys are striking now.
Now I can push back.
No, you were supposed to do this a long time ago.
Bernie Sanders was supposed to put a hold on the bill in the Senate.
But guess who did that?
Joe Manchin did to get the $15 bill out.
Bernie Sanders didn't put a hold on it to get the $15 bill in.
He didn't do anything.
And guess who else didn't do anything?
The squad, the Justice Democrats, and AOC.
They did nothing.
They could have demanded the $15 minimum wage, be in that COVID relief bill, because it was a must-pass bill and they could have withheld their vote and they didn't.
And she's pretending like they weren't striking back then.
They were.
Here it is.
Workers from Burger King, McDonald's, and Wendy's in more than a dozen cities are expected to participate in the latest nationwide fight for 15 strike, an eight-year effort.
This has been going on for eight years.
Fast food workers across the United States will renew demands for a nationwide $15 minimum wage and union rights, as well as better protections from the coronavirus.
So they were asking AOC then in February to make sure the $15 minimum wage was in that coronavirus bill.
And she said, go pound sand.
And all Bernie Sanders did too.
And all the Justice Democrats said, go F yourself.
You're on your own.
Joe Biden ran on the $15 minimum wage.
Why do we have to have pressure outside?
And by the way, it's always been there.
She's acting like this is new.
There's always been pressure outside.
Joe Biden ran on the $15 minimum wage.
So why didn't you put it in the COVID relief bill?
And it's not happening now.
Two-thirds of Americans favor raising the federal, but what the hell?
You need to see more people in the streets.
That's what you need to see.
You need to get more than two-thirds of people in the United States on board with your $15 minimum wage hike, AOC.
You need to get more than two-thirds of the American people on board this policy.
Bernie Sanders tweeted this out.
If McDonald's can afford to pay its CEO over $10 million in compensation and spend billions on stock buybacks to award its wealthy shareholders and executives, you know what?
It can afford to pay all of its workers at least $15 an hour.
I'm proud to support the worker.
Why didn't you support the workers during the COVID bill, Bernie?
Why didn't you put a hold on that bill like Joe Manchin did?
Why didn't you put a hold on that bill and make sure that they got the $15 minimum wage in there?
Because this is all just fucking lip service.
That's all just all this is.
There was a chance when you could have got people.
And now people, and people are cheering them on as if Bernie and AOC are actually doing something.
They're doing nothing.
They're doing nothing.
They're doing less than nothing because they're gaslighting in you to thinking they are.
They're gaslighting you into thinking that when they had the leverage to make sure you got it, that they couldn't do it.
The minimum wage in Denmark is $22 an hour.
You know what a Big Mac costs in Denmark?
$5.93.
You know what it costs the United States?
$5.66.
They have a $22 an hour wage at McDonald's in Denmark.
You know how much a burger costs there?
$5.93.
United States, $5.66.
Our wage is $7.75.
What did they pay a McDonald's worker?
$11, maybe $11.
I've got to guess their entry-level pay is $7.75.
So this idea that if you give people a living wage to a corporation that makes billions of dollars in profits, that somehow they'll have to raise the prices of their product and nobody will be able to afford it is, but that's just bullshit.
That's not economics.
Australia has a $12.
No, I bet it's actually more than that.
I don't think that's right.
Australia, I think, has a $20 an hour minimum wage.
So I think that must be old data.
That must be old data.
By the way, and the Fight for 15 tweeted this out.
They go, fast food workers in the Fight for 15 are on strike and are joined by Senator Bernie Sanders and AOC to talk about the need for McDonald's to provide a 15-hour floor for every one of their stores and organizing.
So I guess it's nice that AOC and Bernie are lending their voice to this strike.
It would be nice if they actually used the power they have to fight for it because this is all virtue signaling.
This is to keep you fooled that the Democratic Party and some people inside them are fighting for you.
That is not the case.
I'm actually thrilled that that video exists, though, because, you know, whether it was intentional or unintentional, she completely told you how politics works.
And in the future, when, you know, people are saying now's not the time, now's not the time about whatever issue it may be, but be it Medicare for all again or living wages or anything else.
You could point to this video once again and say, no, this is how politics works.
And at one point in that video, she says that we're all on the same team.
And whether you like AOC or not or any other politician is irrelevant.
We're not on the same team.
We're not on the same team.
We're just not.
Saying that a politician is on your team, that's like thinking the person selling you a car is on your team and just like handing them a credit card and being like, you're on my team.
So you have my best interest at heart.
Take it.
You wouldn't do that.
That's not how the world works.
Not saying there's anything wrong with selling cars in this analogy, but you wouldn't do that.
You would look out for your best interest.
Politics is kind of similar in that regard.
They're not going to do anything for you.
They're not your friends.
A politician is at best one tool in the toolkit for change.
And that's at best.
At worst, they're a roadblock for all of that.
So I don't want to be any politician's friend now or ever.
You know what I want to be?
Especially for someone that would hopefully go for policies I'm for.
I want to be their excuse.
And what do I mean by that?
I want to be the person, not me as an individual, but we the people.
I want to be the person where they have to say, hey, I'm sorry, I can't do XYZ because if I do XYZ, my base is going to go bye-bye and they are not going to tolerate it.
I'm sorry, mama bear, but I can't give you A and B unless you give me C D and E because my base is out there and they're protesting and they're not going to take it anymore.
They're not going to coddle me.
No one's coddling me and they have had it.
See this?
This is it.
See this?
This is them.
What does that mean?
They're over it.
They are fucking over it.
And you know what?
That's what needs to happen.
That's what always has happened.
Whenever there's been change in this country, that's how it happened.
They look out.
They see people who are over it.
And you don't need politicians to be your friend.
You want to be their excuse.
And I'd follow them on Twitter, by the way.
I know it's like, oh, Ron, that's just petty.
Like, no, it isn't.
Because if every politician in this country, again, I don't give a shit who it is.
I don't give a shit if you like them or not.
I'm fucking following them.
You'll still see their stupid tweets anyway.
If all of them have zero fucking followers, that would send a message to the world that the American people are fed up with this bullshit corporate coup and this grandstanding fucking nonsense, which is what she's shoved down our throats every fucking day.
And I'm over it.
Well said, Ron.
I share your sentiment.
I just want to play the grandstanding bullshit one more time.
It is because you are out there mobilizing that we can point to that organizing and say, this is how bad the people want it.
This is what they are, in fact, demanding.
And because you are doing the work that we can point to, it allows us to create the political pressure necessary to keep pushing.
Because you all are organizing, they can't ignore.
Because you all are organizing on the outside.
They can't ignore us on the inside.
So keep doing it.
Keep putting.
Well, you know, I had 150,000 people show up to a town hall.
You had no trouble ignoring that.
150,000 people showed up to a town hall.
You had no trouble ignoring that.
So this is all claptrap, but I understand what you're saying.
Your point is, Ron, that the next time there is a you just point, hey, you guys are supposed to go push now for this because we're organized.
Yeah.
But that's not how it works.
You know that.
This is all lip service.
There's not one sincere thing she's saying here.
It doesn't matter.
And it doesn't matter.
It doesn't matter.
Her sincerity does not matter one way or another.
It's completely irrelevant.
Her and any other elected official.
It's completely irrelevant.
I mean, if the people are so freaking loud that they cannot be ignored or denied, and that's not going to happen if you continue to coddle the system, then yeah, I mean, change has to happen.
That's how it happened the last time.
That's how we got a new deal.
We didn't get a new deal because FDR felt like it.
I know.
I know.
We got a new deal because he knew he didn't have a fucking choice.
So your recommendation would be to people to keep doing things like this and stop coddling politicians, right?
Hell yeah.
General strike.
Okay.
Wouldn't it be amazing if she used her 13 million Twitter followers for something?
Yeah.
And you know what would be more amazing if 13 million people unfollowed her and everyone else while they're at it?
Politicians, not everyone else.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Did she tweet out to her people to go to start a strike or stay on strike or to be on?
It would be great.
It would be great if she used her 13 million Twitter followers for a protest.
Hey, everybody, show up here.
We're going to demand this.
We're going to go.
That would be great.
That would be fantastic.
But they're not.
I can't tell you for sure if she did or not, Jimmy, because I don't follow her.
Atta boy, Ron.
I don't follow any of them.
At a boy.
Well, they're out there virtue signaling like crazy.
They're not going to, but they certainly won't use their power or their leverage.
Bernie will never put a hold on a bill to help you.
Let's not have Joe Manchin will do it.
Rand Paul will do it.
Everybody else will do it at the drop of a hat.
Bernie will not put a hold on a bill unless Joe Biden gives him permission.
And same thing with AOC.
She will not vote as a block.
The Justice Democrats will not vote as a block to help you.
That's not happening.
And I say it's never going to happen.
I'll believe it when I see it.
So right now, they could have gotten you the $15 minimum wage about two months ago.
They could have gotten you the $15 minimum wage before they passed the COVID relief bill.
All Bernie had to do was put a hold on the bill.
All AOC had to do was vote as a block with four other people.
That's all it would take.
So this idea that we got to get people from coast to coast doing a strike, which we've been having for eight years.
And isn't it like it's something new?
It's all bullshit.
So this is just a virtue signaling video.
And yeah, we need to, I don't, I didn't go to McDonald's today.
I wish they would strike for a whole week.
Anyway, I do love when there's like a call to action and it involves me not having to alter my daily life in any way whatsoever.
You know, like, like, don't eat a McDonald's.
Like, all right, I got you covered.
I've been, I've been protesting for years, didn't even know it.
I just, you know.
Now, if they say no pasta, then you're going to have to have the revolution without me.
I'm sorry.
Yeah.
Well, luckily, we're not.
Luckily, they're not.
Luckily, they're not saying that.
Hey, this is Jimmy.
Who's this?
Jimmy Sarapacino.
Oh, Al, how you doing, buddy?
Hi, Steph.
Hi.
Hey, Jimmy, I saw you trending on Twitter the other day.
I sure was, buddy.
I was worried you might be dead.
You didn't die, did you?
No, no, Al Pacino.
I didn't die.
I'm alive.
I'm talking to you right now, buddy.
What happened was a great many Americans think we should have Medicare for all instead of paying exorbitant premiums to wealthy corporations in exchange for little to no coverage or simply not being able to afford any coverage at all and dying and going bankrupt if we get sick.
Well, okay, yeah.
That makes a lot of sense what you just said there.
I understand that.
I know, right?
But this sentiment, for some reason, is not shared by the Democratic Party, even though they are supposed to represent the will of the people.
Literally, the Deimos.
Whoa, whoa, I knew a Yanni Deimos one.
He ran a dire at Hoboken.
So you want to make it so everybody has health care, so they don't get sick and die and people come after you pretty aggressively too.
They sound like a bunch of cocksuckers.
