Time Text
It's Dr. Jerome Corsi and today it is Tuesday.
It's August 26th, 2025.
Thank you for joining us here on CorsiNation.com.
We're doing podcasts every weekday at, find me on X at CorsiJerome1, the number one.
And then on Subsec it's JeromeCorsiPhd.subsec.com.
We're trying to follow a variety of stories that are continuing stories.
It's August, and so the news cycle is pretty slim these days.
I think I first want to start out with talking about John Bolton.
There's we, it's a walrus here with that John Bolton with his mustache, Chris.
Come on on, Chris.
We'll talk about John Bolton for a minute.
John Bolton, I've known for quite a while.
I first knew John Bolton when I wrote Atomic Iran going back in 2006, arguing that Iran was developing nuclear weapons and it was a major threat.
to world peace, particularly to Egypt, I mean to Israel, when the Iranians were constantly saying death to Israel, death to the United States.
They wanted to develop nuclear weapons and drop one in Tel Aviv and destroy the modern Jewish state as we know it.
And so Bolton was very much in favor of attacking Iran and ending their nuclear program going back into the days of George W. Bush.
So now this possibility of him being indicted for using classified information has surfaced.
The attack on Trump is that this is just a revenge attack because Bolton wrote this book, you know, the room where it happened.
We'll talk about that in a minute, but it was, I guess, this was all over the decisions of Donald Trump to ramp up.
I'm not even particularly sure which decision this was over, because you know the I have the book, but I never read it.
I barely remember to be honest with you.
I barely remember it too.
I mean, it was a while ago.
It was a memoir.
And, you know, Bolton was in the Oval Office, and this is about the room where it happened, it's the Oval Office.
And I guess he's saying the room would the basic point he makes Bolton made in the book was that I'm hard pressed to identify any significant decision Trump made during my tenure that wasn't driven by reelection calculations.
He argues that the House committed impeachment malpractice by keeping its prosecution focused narrowly on Ukraine when Trump's Ukraine-like transgressions existed across the full range of his foreign policy.
And Bolton documents exactly what those were, attempts by him and others in the administration to raise alarms about them.
Well, I mean, it was at the time reviewed as a, you know, a hate Trump book and Bolton was mad because Trump basically fired him and, you know, Bolton was trying to elevate his position.
But, you know, of course, presidents are motivated by reelection.
I mean, that's it's a political job.
So, of course, they're motivated by reelection.
And why would Bolton think it was anywhere else?
But, of course, Bolton sold a bunch of these books and it was the number one New York Times bestseller at the time it came out because it was John Bolton opposing Trump and that was a big news story when this book was published in 2020 and the run up to the presidential election in 2020.
Chris?
Oh, it all sounds like a as the great Baltrick once said, it all sounds like a bag of grapefruits to me.
So that's what it was.
Some way, really, but you know where I'm going.
Yeah, it's just, you know, it's Bolton didn't get what he wanted.
He wasn't the, you know, the star.
He wasn't the one running foreign policy and Trump wasn't bowing down to him.
So I guess Bolton felt that he was being slighted.
So he had to attack Trump, which is not a particularly smart thing to do or particularly welcome thing to do.
It did.
It did put money in his pockets because the man knows.
The man knows that when he wrote the book about Obama's national security issues, if you will, that was going to be popular because people would buy the book, but they probably read it at the time.
As far as the Trump hate book, that one, he figured the Trump haters would buy it.
And believe me, these people do not read books.
They just buy them to put them on their bookshelves.
That's it.
It's like the Bill Clinton book.
900 pages was it by Bill Clinton?
None of these liberals picked up and and opened that book.
They just put it on their shelves so when they could show their friends, look what I have.
And that's the same thing with Kamala Harris' book, The 107 Days.
Nobody's going to read that book.
The reason why is there no adult coloring book section of it at this point.
The millennials won't want to read it.
And the older people are like, No, she's an idiot, but I want to show off to my friends.
I got her book.
Well, I mean, it's ridiculous.
I mean, people are reading less and less anyway right now, and it's hard to sell a book.
Certainly, conservatives are having very hard time making money selling books.
And even Fox News won't interview authors any longer that are conservative.
So the book writing business has essentially dried up for political books.
They were the rage when I started in 2004, we did Unfit for Command.
You know, it was a number one bestseller and it sold an enormous number of books.
But today, that's not going to happen.
Very hard to get stories to, you know, much harder today to get stories to carry than it would be then.
But the idea about the book, the conservative book or the liberal book is basically to update or to upgrade one's stature, maybe hit the speaking circuit, if you will.
And that's the idea., maybe make money that way.
The book is your backdrop, it's your credential, it's your, it's the thing people can point to.
Yeah, that's basically what it's become.
And it's like the record industry where people are not making money on records anymore, they're making money on tours.
And that's been for a while, I suppose, right?
Yeah, it has.
I mean, the internet has changed many of these things.
People read on the internet and they get little sound bites of reading.
You know, little story snippets here or there.
Read bites, yes.
Read bites, you know.
But they're not getting deep into stories by any means like they would used to.
So the news cycle has largely been dried up, certainly in August.
The news cycle is very, very slow.
And anyway, let's carry, let's go a couple more stories.
We have Pritzker out there and Pritzker's complaining, of course, that Trump is the National Guard in DC.
DC is a mess, not safe.
The city is deteriorated.
I was just in Cleveland, Ohio, where I grew up and I went back to see the house I grew up in, which was on Ardenall Avenue by Sean Hayden in Cleveland, Ohio, East Cleveland.
And the city, the street I grew up on, there are houses that burned out and they're torn down, not replaced.
So there's empty lots.
The entire street is in disrepair.
In fact, you can hardly drive on the street because it has these red barrel stanchions in the middle of it to steer you around where the street is in such bad repair you'd, you know, you wreck a car to drive over it.
And the house was a mess.
I mean, you could probably buy that house for $500.
It was shocking to me the deterioration of the Democratic cities.
They have just been.
It's tragic what's happened in the Democratic cities and it's happening across America.
And now they're unsafe.
So we have to put the National Guard in to protect cities after defunding the police.
Chris, what do you think?
Well, they asked for it.
That's what happened.
They asked for it.
They got it.
They sure did.
It's like the old Toyota commercial.
You asked for it.
You got it.
Yeah.
Let's we've got a clip from Pritzker.
Let's play the clip from Pritzker.
Actually, I have two.
Pritzker, Pritzker was jammering on in a press conference yesterday trying to act tough when it came to Donald Trump.
And he was he was upset that.
that Donald Trump is proposing the idea of helping fight crime in Chicago.
Well, here's what the big guy had to say.
Over the weekend, we learned from the media that Donald Trump has been planning for quite a while now to deploy armed military personnel to the streets of Chicago.
This is exactly the type of overreach that our country's founders warned against.
And it's the reason that they established a federal system with a separation of powers built on checks and balances.
What President Trump is doing is unprecedented and unwarranted.
It is illegal.
It is unconstitutional.
It is un-American.
No one from the White House or the executive branch has reached out to me or to the mayor.
No one has reached out to our staffs.
No effort has been made to coordinate or to ask for our assistance in identifying any actions that might be helpful to us.
Local law enforcement has not been contacted.
We have made no requests for federal intervention.
None.
We found out what Donald Trump was planning the same way that all of you did, we read a story in the Washington Post.
If this was really about fighting crime and making the streets safe, what possible justification could the White House have for planning such an exceptional action without any conversations or consultations with the governor, the mayor, or the police?
Let me answer that question.
This is not about fighting crime.
This is about Donald Trump searching for any justification to deploy the military in a blue city, in a blue state, to try and intimidate his political rivals.
This is about the president of the United States and his complicit lackey, Stephen Miller, searching for ways to lay the groundwork to circumvent our democracy, militarize our cities, and end elections.
There is no emergency in Chicago that calls for armed military intervention.
There is no insurrection.
There is no insurrection.
Like every major American city in both blue and red states, we deal with crime in Chicago.
Indeed, the violent crime rate is worse in red states and red cities.
Here in Chicago, our civilian police force and elected leaders work every day to combat crime and to improve public safety.
And it's working.
Not one person here today will claim we have solved all crime in Chicago, nor can that be said of any major American metro area.
But calling the military into a US city to invade our streets and neighborhoods and disrupt the lives of everyday people is an extraordinary action and it should require extraordinary justification.
Again, the whole idea here is that Chicago is like Washington, DC.
It's not safe and they and Chicago is not taking steps to make it safe.
This is the problem.
And when Trump is saying, okay, he wants to move in and do something about it, it's responsible for Trump's position to try to protect public safety when the city of chicago won't do anything to protect its citizens this is i think common sense chris what do you think i mean this again we're we're dealing here with a situation where uh you know the democratic cities are
just a disaster and every single one of them you go across you can take you know philadelphia baltimore washington you know the cleveland which is largely you know deserted in terms of downtown um chicago you know chicago you just keep going on detroit these cities are a disaster.
Chris, keep in mind and the democrats know this how can you keep people on their knees if they're free to walk the streets at night how do you keep people at their knees if you bring in opportunity zones to um to black urban areas where uh people can actually or kids can actually realize there's a life outside of gangs where how can you keep people at your knees if uh you're if you allow the police to uh to patrol better you allow the police to make arrests and you and
you don't set people free just because uh of some liberal policy you want to set them back in the streets or or how can you keep people at their knees if you don't let prisoners out early and this and that's what the Democrats know.
They know that they want to stay in office, they want to remain in power, but to do so, they have to make sure people are scared that they're going to lose their benefits or they're going to lose this or that, or they're scared of some militarism coming in to disturb, well, let's say the criminals, their little delicate talents.
They're going to tell you, well, we're going to do something about it, they'll be voted for because traditionally these places vote Democrat, and nothing gets done, they keep campaigning on it.
Now someone gets things done, what are they going to do?
The other guy won.
Well, they've become criminal cities.
They've become dominated by, I think Donald Trump just put out an executive order that you can't have bail without.
The judges release people immediately back onto the streets, even though they've committed horrendous crimes.
So the Democrats don't believe in the criminal system anymore.
I think the Democratic Party is self-destructing, and it's self-destructing in a rapid fashion where it's not protecting people, it's not protecting lives, it's not protecting anything.
It's simply a matter of chaos and anarchy.
And that's just not going to, that's just not sustainable.
That's not the kind of way you're going to be able to persist in an environment where you're going to be able to have any kind of order at all, Chris?
Oh, I 100% agreed on that one.
The other thing is, if you listen carefully, JB Pritzker and all the other Democrats are trained to use this statistical anomaly, showing that red states are the ones that have the higher crime rates in their cities.
Well, these red states they refer to are sparsely populated ones in country areas like Missouri, Mississippi, Arkansas, places like that, which still have very deep blue cities within them that have these lax regulations that allow these crimes.
So the crime rate as long as it's.
very high in these blue cities versus the sparsely populated areas, it's going to look like the state's full crime rate is higher.
So they're lying to you again.
It's always the blue cities.
And what are these red cities he's talking about?
I think he must have written a script on that one.
It's red states, they always said.
But the fact is the blue cities within the red states, the deep blue cities, mind you, within the red states that have the high crime rates that skew the numbers for the rest of the area.
That's the Democrats are reduced to minorities, angry minorities and criminals that terrorists.
They don't mind Venezuelan terrorists.
They don't mind gangs.
They champion the rights of gangs to vote and to have due process as if they were citizens.
So the whole thing is, I think, completely messed up.
I think it's a situation that really is unsustainable.
We're at a tipping point in the United States where the blue cities are a complete drag on the economy and a breeding ground for this anti-American woke attitude that the American people solemnly rejected.
I got another lie for you.
The Democrats are trying to say that they're doing a great job against Donald Trump.
They're pushing back against his bullying and they're living rent free in his head, just like JB Pritzker said recently.
And this video is going viral for a simple reason.
If you watch the video, watch it a little carefully, you're going to hear what Pritzker has to say.
And you're going to watch it pan a little bit to where he actually is, showing who really has who living rent free in their head.
So let's play this one.
We're very pleased about the progress that we're making.
I know that I live rent free in the president's head.
And I wish he would spend some time in Chicago so that he could see what a lovely city we have.
Governor Crickfellow, what do you do if the National League?
See?
Maybe Trump lives rent free in Pritzker's stomach.
I don't know, but the whole thing is getting to be, if it weren't so pathetic, it would be a joke.
And let's switch to a couple of other stories.
I'm following what's going on with Ukraine.
And now Zelensky wants the European nations to provide him a billion dollars a month to purchase U.S. weapons to continue his war against Russia.
Okay, so he made this comment alongside the Norwegian Prime Minister, who is Jonas Gar's store during a press conference at the Ukrainian capital.
But it's while President Trump is seeking to move away from providing weapons directly to Kiev.
Okay, so what...
So on Sunday, Vice President Vance claimed that Russia has been flexible and made significant concessions in some core demands as part of the negotiations to end the war.
What Vance said is they recognized that they're not going to be able to install a puppet regime in Kiev.
That was, of course, a major demand at the beginning.
Importantly, they acknowledged that there's going to be some security guarantee to the territorial rights of Ukraine.
Okay, those are major concessions.
Now, if Zelensky would make similar concessions, we could end this war.
But the Europeans seem to think they can get back the Ukrainian territory.
They want to maintain the sovereignty of the original Ukraine boundaries, even though these two provinces that Russia is occupying are Russian-speaking people.
And the neo-Nazis in the western part of Ukraine, under Zelensky, you know, Zelensky was sending in these neo-Nazi brigades to harass and kill people who were freedom fighters wanting independence in these two provinces in the eastern Ukraine.
But of course, we don't get any of this reporting in the United States.
The reporting we're getting is, is totally biased against Russia.
And that's, I think, been the theme constantly that Russia, Russia, Russia, Russia has been all the Democrats have been pushing as if Russia were a complete, total enemy.
We can't deal with Russia.
We have to destroy Russia.
No, we have to coexist with Russia.
Same as we're going to have to do with China.
We can still have coexistence with strength.
We have a strong military, but the Democrats want us to have a military that was wearing dresses, you know, that a transgender military.
Well, in the history of the world, there hasn't really been transgender military that have been very successful.
It's not exactly a concept that, you know, it's amazing to me how ridiculously low we've gotten some of these concepts, global warming.
Well, it's been a cool August in the United States.
So where's the global warming?
Seasonal variations in weather are compounded by cyclical kinds of effects, which are often impacted by the oceans, ocean currents, et cetera.
And we've had a very complex system with the Earth's climate.
I pointed this out in the book I wrote on climate change.
They don't want us to use hydrocarbon fuels.
They want us to see more and more people.
We have a depopulation agenda.
Okay, so I think Trump is moving towards ending the war, and I think it's going to take a while, but eventually the world is coming to the conclusion that Ukraine lost, and it's time to stop the killing.
In the Gaza, it looks to me like Netanyahu is pressing forward with, you know, as fast as he can to clean out Hamas, and hopefully won't be stopped until we do clean out Hamas.
The Palestinians, I don't think they're going to be allowed to return into Gaza because that would just bring back Hamas and we'd be at the same cycle all over again.
On the international scene, we're still pumping all this money into the economy, and we still had a buoyed-up stock market because of the amount of money we're spending in deficit spending.
And that has not been brought under control yet by President Trump, who's going to have to address that issue pretty soon.
But the point is we are seeing inflation return and the price of gold is again still maintaining at over $3,000 an ounce.
Today it's $3,392 an ounce and silver is at $38.68.
I'm predicting we're going to see gold at $4,000 an ounce by the end of the year.
year which is not very far away all of a sudden okay now if we take a look at the swiss america part of course cnation.com i'm encouraging everybody to get a copy of this free book i'm going to give you the 800 number in a minute but this walking liberty half dollar offer where you can get uh these half dollars 250 of them at really the price virtually of what they're worth in silver they're beautiful coins And you can at least buy
some silver so you own some precious metals that will appreciate in value while you're.
while your stocks and your 401k's and your IRA's if they're tied to the stock market are doing well today, but not necessarily when the markets begin to readjust to the fall.
You get a copy of how this coming global crash will create an historic gold rush by calling toll-free 1800-519-6268.
Let me give that number again, 1800-519-6268.
I encourage you to get some gold and silver.
Because again, don't trust that the stock market is going to stay at $45,000.
It could easily drop significantly.
And if it does, it's going going to take it a while to get back.
So hedge your bets by owning some gold and silver.
Okay, the other stories that are circulating today, and it's not just a very big news story day, I'm following several things, following this story here with the Fed governor, Lisa Cook, who says that Trump can't fire her.
She's not going to resign and Trump can't fire her.
Well, let's see how that turns when the FBI shows up at your place of work tomorrow.
And let's see how she continues to work when they're throwing her out of her office.
So Poto said on this, Lisa Cook, I'll fire her if she doesn't resign.
What you did was bad.
So if she doesn't resign, I'm going to fire her.
Essentially, what Trump is mad about is that the Federal Reserve will not lower interest rates.
And it has to have lower interest rates in order to have a reduced cost of financing the federal debt.
And that's gotten to be a big burden on the United States as a whole.
Our financial system is really not stable at the moment.
And it's not going to become stable until we get these huge, humongous deficits under control.
And I don't see any prospect of that happening in the immediate future.
Other stories that are following, and it's again, as I say, the news cycle has been not particularly active in the summer.
August is about the slowest month of the year for a news cycle.
That's clearly the case this year.
So Trump is pressuring the Federal Reserve as hard as he can, and we'll see what good it does.
But at the moment, we're just in a kind of shouting match between Trump and the Federal Reserve.
I was very surprised to see Victor Davis Hansen supporting John Bolton.
He did that in an article that is published.
Discern Report is covering it.
And he's basically saying that, you know, Bolton was not arrested.
He was not indicted.
There's an effort aimed at him personally.
It seems like Victor Davis Hansen is siding with those who say Trump's on a revenge cycle.
which I don't believe is the case.
I think crimes were committed and Trump is in the process of getting going after the deep state and Bolton may just be one of the first targets.
But he won't be the last.
In general, I think what we're seeing is a end of summer coming into Labor Day weekend.
And as we do, we get back into September.
We're going to have another new cycle kicking in.
Congress will be back at work and we'll be preparing for the September, October, November, December, last four months of the year in which a lot's going to happen.
I think the war in Ukraine will end.
I think Gaza will be under control of Israel.
And we'll be entering 2026 with a fundamentally new approach to America, largely because of Donald Trump.
Get our cities under control and next we'll get our economy under control.
I always like to end these by saying in the end God always wins.
God's going to win here too.
It may not be easy.
We have a lot of fights ahead, but if we all resolve in spirit of Second Chronicles 7, 14 to get on our knees and ask God to allow us to repent.
for having the world lose so much of our morality with this secular approach, getting God out of our schools, out of our homes, out of our lives, out of our marriages.
We've got to return to God.
And secondly, we have to acknowledge that we have had too much the sexual revolution.
We've had too many divorces, too much breaking up of marriages, long-term marriages, including myself.
My wife hasn't gone into an affair.
This is my birthday.
But again, these are the types of things.
that you know, you live a life in a marriage, my marriage, 32 years.
And the Mueller investigation was probably the tipping point when the FBI was knocking at the door, and so therefore, you know, they don't get over these things very easily.
Okay, it's doctor Jerome Corsi, and thank you for joining us.
We'll be back tomorrow, every weekday, with podcasts on corcination dot com dot Thank you for joining us.
