Time Text
This is Dr. Jerome Corsi and this is a special broadcast.
This is Dr. Jerome Courcy, and this is a special broadcast.
We have an interview today with a gentleman who I plan on working very closely with over
the next few years.
His name is Roberto Albino, and he is a senior management physician in the National Hispanic
Christian Leadership Conference.
Roberto, welcome.
Thank you for having me, Dr. Gerry.
A pleasure.
What we're going to discuss today is, I've created a program in Spanish For telemedicine, it's called Habla con un MD.
Chris will put up the website, so you can see the website in a minute.
Habla con un MD means in Spanish, speak with a MD, a doctor.
In Spanish, it would probably be Habla con un Medico, but I want everybody to realize that MD is the term used in the United States, so everybody might as well get used to And the idea is here that this is a service that offers people who speak Spanish to connect with a doctor registered in their state who also speaks Spanish.
And we're going to talk about what a problem this is.
And it's telephone conversation.
You know, you don't get directly connected, but there's an administrator who assigns your case to a doctor.
The doctor will tell you availability for a telephone conference.
Doctor will call you and then you can get full discussion of what you need, what your medical issue is, whether you need medications or what illness you've got or what you're worried about.
A doctor can prescribe medications that will be sent to a pharmacy near you.
And we're pricing this at, I believe we're going to come out at $69 for the interview.
Now, while we're working with the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference to roll this out, I want Roberto to explain what the National Hispanic Leadership Conference is.
So, Robert?
Thank you, Jerry.
Yes, so the NACLC has been in existence since 2001.
It was birthed By our founder, who is still the president, Reverend Samuel Rodriguez.
And if you, you know, with the power of Google nowadays, you can find everything you need to know about Pastor Sam.
He is a trailblazer.
He's a pioneer.
He's a man of God.
Uh, he's a modern day Samuel and, uh, he, um, he started the NACLC, um, to advance what we call the lamb's agenda.
So we're not, um, we're not focused on partisanship.
We're not focused on, um, being a, a, uh, Advocate for either party, and the parties are represented by two animals.
The GOP is represented by elephant, the donkey for the Democrats.
So we want to represent the Lamb, the Lamb of God who came and laid his life down for us to be free from sin and to find salvation.
So the agenda of the Lamb is really what we're about, and that agenda is very simple.
We want to advance three directives, the sanctity of life, religious liberty, and biblical justice.
And we do that in a variety of ways.
Now, you know, COVID threw a wrench in our efforts and I came on after COVID and part of my role is to kind of revamp the infrastructure of the organization nationwide.
So, right now we count with about 28 chapters in different states.
And all a chapter is is a group of interdenominational churches that would say, yeah, we want to support the NACLC and we want to be represented by the NACLC on a nationwide basis.
And so there's different types of ways that we serve churches.
Right now we have an initiative to equip pastors and leaders on compelling preaching.
I'm preaching to the heart, the hands and the head, not just preaching at the body.
And so that that has been going very well.
We have a three year initiative there to just kind of multiply trainers and multiply instructors so that That particular teaching and that particular equipping can continue long after we have commenced it.
And the other very strong sort of initiative that we're rolling out is prophetic activism.
And I know we're going to talk a little bit about that later on when we kind of touch the immigration issue, but the Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference, it right now represents about 40,000 churches, Hispanic churches, in the country, which makes it the largest Christian, Hispanic, evangelical organization in the world.
And again, you can Google Pastor Sam and he's He advised three presidents.
Hasn't gotten the invitation from the current administration to do so.
I wonder why, but that's a topic for another day.
But you know, he advised Bush in his two terms, Obama in his two terms, Trump in his one term.
And he's been pretty influential from a policy standpoint.
You know how these things work, Jerry, where, you know, you can have a voice in your ear as a president or as an administration.
Now, whether or not you follow that voice is a different issue, but that does not take away from the influence that God has given him to be able to speak prophetically on certain issues like immigration and abortion and be consistent.
And so we're grateful for his leadership, and we're grateful for relationships with Habla con un MD, which I believe is a huge blessing when we look at the health care situation for a lot of Hispanics.
It's a high rate of Hispanics that do not have health insurance, and something like that is just going to be so instrumental And being able to let pastors know that they can tell their congregations if they need any sort of medical help.
They can just, you know, it's so easy.
They can utilize this platform to get the medical attention that they need.
And so I'm grateful for you, Dr. Jerry.
The NACLC is grateful for your partnership and your support of our organization and your passion to reach the Hispanic community with the love and the compassion of Christ, and also see it grow and thrive, not just survive.
You know, that's a big, a big element of our mentality, Dr. Jerry, is we want to see not just the Hispanic community.
We want to see the black community, the white community, the Asian community, the immigrant community.
We want to see everyone thrive in America.
And the way we do that is by coming together.
And if there are differences and barriers that we need to address, we can talk about them in a civil way and try to find solutions.
And that's what we're about.
And so I'm happy to be here.
Well, we're thrilled.
I've been working on this for two years, getting the software built.
We're fortunate to have a Google partner company, Trillo, and my main website for the telemedicine is Corstet, C-O-R-S-T-E-T dot com.
Chris will show it to you in a minute, Corstet dot com.
And I've been working for a year to get the endorsement of the NHCLC, and I'm thrilled that we've gotten that done, and we're starting now to work together to implement this program.
Let me say a couple things about what Oblacon and MD, why it came on my heart to, that's my course debt program, and if you'll scroll down a little bit on it, together with Oblacon, CoorsDat created Habla.
And if you scroll down the CoorsDat site there, Chris, you'll see that we talk about the relationship with Trillo
and that we're a software design.
We describe it all.
And the program for Oblacon MD runs on Google Cloud Platform
servers, and it's HIPAA compliant.
And so that's the CoreStat website.
And if you go back, Kristen, show the OblaconMD website for a minute.
What came on my heart on doing this one, this program, was one of my partners, Rob Burton, said, why don't we create a Spanish program?
It was not my idea.
But as soon as the idea hit me, I said, this is terrific.
Yes, we need to do this.
Because, you know, Robert, there's just not enough Hispanic doctors in the country.
What happens when the Hispanics need medical care right now?
The Hispanic and Latino community, what do they do?
Yeah.
Yeah, well, one thing that we are seeing is There's more of an emphasis by clinics, primary care physician clinics, urgent care clinics, to staff, bilingual medical personnel.
And I think that we need more of that.
We definitely need more of that.
But that's one way to sort of mitigate that issue.
But you are correct.
I don't know that I have ever been attended.
Not that I have needed to.
But even when you go to a doctor's office and you see all the names of the doctors, not many of them are Hispanic.
Um, the language barrier, I think, um, can be overcome, uh, but we, we need, uh, especially, um, the evangelical community, the Hispanic evangelical community.
Uh, we, we need to be intentional about, uh, how we can kind of fill these gaps, um, to be able to better serve the Hispanic community.
And, uh, I think, You know, not everybody's gonna become a doctor, but you could become a nurse's aide.
You could become a physician's assistant.
You could become a radiology technician.
There's so many opportunities in the medical field, but this is an amazing tool.
You know, telemedicine is sort of kind of the new age.
The idea for getting medical care and the fact that you're providing the Hispanic community with this tool is very significant.
So I wouldn't, yes we acknowledge that we need more Hispanic doctors, but with something like this I think you're definitely helping the situation.
You can reach a doctor and the doctor will talk to you on the telephone wherever you are.
So you can be at a job, you could be home, you don't have to go actually into the doctor's office, that's a critical feature, the convenience and the fact that full medical record is kept.
When we created this program, it was, first of all, I speak Spanish, I live, but my family's You know, my wife about to be my former wife, unfortunately, but she, um, from Argentina.
So for over 30 years, my, the language in this household, when I wake up and go to bed is Spanish.
And I learned how, uh, I wonder how your, your.
Well, soon to be former wife feels about, uh, Javier Millet.
I love the guy.
Well, Javier Millet in Argentina is certainly shaking things up for the better, and I'm very pleased to see it.
And by the way, in this household still where I'm living with my wife who is divorcing me, I hear Spanish all the time, and Millet is watched in this television set, this house, because the Argentinians are very tuned into Millet and very supportive of him.
But let's get back onto this.
When we created Oblocon and MD, First of all, I wondered, you know, how are we going to get the word out?
And it came on my heart to want to work with the churches.
And it was a coincidence.
I was in a meeting with Carlos Campo, who is the vice chairman of this organization, and we were both at a prayer service.
We both got there early, and we were Having a cup of coffee, but about alone in the room, and we introduced ourselves to each other.
And he at that time said he was the vice chairman of National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference.
And I said, well, we've created this program.
And he said, well, why don't we work together?
That started it.
That was in January, 2023.
And now we've put this together.
It's taken us a year.
What's been on my heart was to bring this to the Hispanic community through Jesus Christ, through the churches.
I've said that there's a faith mission here, that this to me is not just a business, it's a faith mission, because when Jesus Christ was on earth, he He healed people physically.
He made the blind see and he made the deaf hear.
He cured leprosy.
He rose Lazarus from the dead.
There's many, many instances.
And so Jesus understood that people were coming to him to be healed.
And not necessarily to hear a spiritual message, but when he healed them, He opened the door to their spiritual message, and what Christ was telling us was that this methodology
of healing a person physically and mentally and spiritually need to go together.
And so the churches have often neglected to bring in the physical message of Christ.
But if that methodology was good enough for Jesus, why wouldn't it work for us?
And so, Robert, I've communicated this.
I went to your Megafest at the end of last year, which was in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
And I encourage everybody to take a look at the NHCLC.org website.
And Chris, again, that Harrisburg PA Megafest where you had was fantastic.
Why don't you describe, Robert, what it was like?
Yeah, so that is kind of our flagship event every year, where we want to bring in all of the different representation from the different denominations.
And so, we usually have some sessions during the day.
We're allowing our partners that have some sort of ministry or some sort of service that they would like to provide for the Hispanic churches.
We have them speak and talk about how they want to help churches.
And we have sessions on mental health in ministry and sessions on church growth
and how the Latino church can start to embrace some of the technological advances
and resources that are out there.
And it's usually a great time, very informative, very spiritually rich.
I mean, we leave these events very enriched spiritually.
Pastor Sam does an amazing job of motivating us in staying firm, standing firm on our values
and letting that kind of lead the way of our public and civic engagement, how we vote,
how we teach our kids.
And so it's a time of just great fellowship and community amongst the Latino churches that we represent.
and different pastors that come together.
It's always great seeing pastors from other states.
I see this Jerry as a, it's like when Nehemiah was You know, the Lord impressed on his heart to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem.
And we see the story and everybody's building the wall.
And what you see is everyone has a portion of the wall to build.
And they know what the goal is.
They know what the objective is.
They know what the mission is.
And they work together because there is no confusion of what the mission is.
The mission is to build this wall.
And to rebuild the city, and we all have a part to play in that.
And I see this current effort to sort of reintroduce into a seemingly post-Christian culture, reintroduce and kind of reintegrate our Christian values into our culture.
And the Hispanic community is a very, very faith-based community.
And so, you know, we're all about God, family, and hard work.
And so we just drive those qualities, those values, through a Christian worldview, a Judeo-Christian value set.
And when we get together for these events, this year we're doing multiple of these events and I would encourage everyone to stay sort of stay in tune with our website and follow us on social media.
You can follow Pastor Sam as well.
And he does a good job of kind of announcing and promoting everything that we're doing nationally.
But we, these events are great times for us to Uh, come together, and we need more of that, Jer.
We need to come together.
And, you know, divided, um, divided we're never going to accomplish anything.
You know, we're never going to accomplish.
I mean, the greatest I mean, I don't want to go on a rant here, but I think the greatest detriment to America has been the the dissemination, the the the the propagating of a divided country based on racial lines.
That has been one of America's greatest detriments because we could have acknowledged the ugly past without exacerbating a culture of division.
And so I think that we have had the challenges and the struggles that we have had.
Because no one has really tried to bring the country together in a way that we can move forward and all build our part of the wall.
You know, this wall we call the American Dream.
You know, this wall we call America and her values and what she stands for.
So anyway, I don't want to go off on a tangent.
We can do that all day.
But these events are for that.
Come together, community.
You know, we pray for each other, we pray with each other, and then at the end we have a concert with a well-known Christian Latino artist.
Last year we had Mios San Marcos, and he does a phenomenal job of just creating an atmosphere of worship to our King and our Creator.
And it was this last past year in Harrisburg, where I'm actually at right now in Harrisburg, our state's capital here.
I'm from Pennsylvania.
And he did an amazing job.
We got packed.
We had maybe 1,300 people in the auditorium.
And so it was a great, great time.
So yeah, this year we're doing a bunch in different places.
I believe Arizona, Puerto Rico, maybe San Antonio, Virginia, and Chicago.
So stay tuned and we'll... Well, having attended the, I can tell you, the Preaching is gospel-based.
It's evangelical.
The message is really strong.
The passion is there.
And some people say, well, me as a conservative, why am I so interested in the Latino community?
Well, first of all, I have always been for robust immigration.
Like with the economist Julian Simon, who I write about many times, says that the Scarcest resource on earth, natural resources, human intelligence.
And if we cultivate an educated population and more people, this planet could survive with many, many more billions of human beings on it and souls for God.
And so anyone who knows me knows my faith is very strong.
I don't like the illegal immigration.
We'll talk about that in a minute.
But the point is that The point is that this Hispanic community, which is growing, and it's obviously growing because we see on the border the whole issue now, the border being wide open.
Roberto, I want to discuss that a little bit next with you.
But the point is that the Hispanic community is a robust community, and it's a very religious community.
The Anglo population has largely been indoctrinated not to believe in God, and it shocks me what the percentage of the younger generations who say they are LGBT.
I mean, 20-30% of the younger generations are saying they're identifying with this woke ideology which is godless.
I think the Hispanic The population is possibly the revival of the United States because these Hispanics truly do believe in Jesus Christ.
They're committed to God and Jesus Christ, and they're preaching and their understanding of the gospel.
Sometimes surprises me given the what, you know, I was born and raised a Catholic and the Catholic Church has just about become a socialist institution under Pope Francis.
And I've been following Archbishop Viganò very closely as a Catholic and appreciate his message fighting this woke.
But the Latino community has families, want to raise children, They're dedicated to God.
These Latinos are here to stay.
You're not sending 30 million people back to the countries they came from.
What's happening is now these who are here are being abused by the Biden administration, dumped in hotels, and wanting to be on the federal dole.
They want work permits.
And we'll get them settled.
They will bring their families.
This is just the beginning.
And we need to make All Latinos here, this is home now.
This is home.
And the children who are born aren't going to know anything about where their parents came from.
This is what they're going to know.
So, Robert, tell us a bit your views on these issues and let's begin discussing the border issue.
What do you think should we do on the border?
Yeah, I think it has risen to the top of everybody's concerns here in America.
And just thinking about Texas, I was just in Texas, in Austin, and I was talking to a group of pastors, and every single one of those pastors was an immigrant.
They were all in favor of a secure border.
Now, one can look at that and say, oh, yeah, well, they're in favor of a secure border because they're already over here.
No, they're in favor of a secure border because an open border is one of the most dangerous situations that can exist for migrants, especially the Mexico border, because This isn't news to anyone.
There has been a monopoly on transporting these migrants by the drug cartels.
And so these are ruthless criminals.
that are manipulating and taking advantage of people coming from other countries that want to come to America and make a better life for their families.
And it's one thing if people were coming across the border and they were reporting to a port of entry And they were going through the process, even if it's a process that's going to not allow them to stay.
But they were doing it in the safest, most legal way.
It's another thing to see these people being treated the way they're treated by the drug cartels.
And you see the children that are coming without any supervision.
I mean, I'm a father of four.
I have an eight-year-old and I have an 11-year-old.
And I have two teenagers, and I couldn't imagine having to...
Leave my eight-year-old to walk across a sovereign border in the hands of criminals, of a drug cartel, and think that it's going to work out.
You know, it's like, Jerry, what has been created by the current open border policies is a humanitarian travesty.
Humanitarian travesty.
And the issue is, you know, you can't in one breath.
If you're the administration that is currently at the helm, you can't in one breath talk about humanitarianism and talk about how you're for the poor and for the needy.
And then you are exacerbating and facilitating a humanitarian crisis because of your open borders policy.
So I think everyone has to pause on the politics And just look at that particular reality of what is being caused by these open border policies.
We want to get caught up in what Governor Avid's doing, and we want to get caught up in the struggle that currently exists between the state of Texas and the federal government.
We want to opine on that, but we forget about the horrific conditions of people who are coming across the border.
And we could even go a little further and say, OK, yeah, they're being bused to Chicago.
They're being bused to New York, they're being bused to Boston, they're being bused to different, you know, Democrat run cities.
Regardless of whether or not they're sanctuary cities or run by Democrats, they get to these cities and then what?
You know what I mean?
So this is a, this is a part of, this is a part of the, the dignity aspect.
You know, these are human beings created in the image of God, no matter where they're from.
They could be from China.
They could be from Guatemala.
They can be from Mexico.
They're human beings created in the image of God.
And so their lives have dignity, have worth.
They should be treated as such.
And so, you know, The fact that America, the greatest country in the world, the most powerful country in the world, the richest country in the world, the fact that America can't get this right, Jerry, is troubling.
It's just troubling.
We can't get it right.
No matter what party's at the helm, Obama had a trifecta.
Trump had a trifecta.
Biden had a trifecta his first two years, and it can't get undone.
Like, what is going on?
So the Latino community, that's the question that the Latino community is asking.
You'll have Hispanic evangelical leaders that they're Their politics on this can be shaped by a certain value set, right?
And that's fine.
But at the end of the day, the vast majority of the Latino community is asking themselves, why can't this be fixed?
Why can't we do right by the Dreamers?
Why can't we look at the different Specifics right of the current immigration system.
There's there's 40 million immigrants in America.
Only 23% of them since 2019 only 23% of those 40 million are not here legally.
So there's data that can help us reach an approach that will work.
You know, we heard all this follow the data and follow the science thing during COVID, during the pandemic.
Well, it's the same with this immigration issue.
There is a pragmatic, comprehensive way to approach this issue with data, with statistics, with resources that we have in our federal government.
But for some reason, Jerry, that I don't know.
I don't know if there's just...
nefarious agenda behind it. I don't know, but the question we're asking ourselves
is why can't this be fixed?
And I don't know if you want me to comment on sort of the platform that the Latino Evangelical Conference, the Christian Leadership Conference has put forth.
I think it's a very... I would like you to comment on that, please.
Yeah, so it's a very practical, it's a very practical approach, a very practical proposal.
So we, we believe that the dreamers that came over, um, as, as young children, babies, infants, toddlers, they didn't, they didn't ask to be brought in or what they know was happening.
They came with mom and dad.
And now they're 18, 19, 20, 21.
They're graduating from high school.
They speak, they speak our language fluently.
They're not committing crimes.
You know, they, they, they're, they're working, you know, albeit if it's, you know, under the table or with temporary working permits or what have you.
But they want to go to college.
They want to get a job.
They want to get a driver's license.
They want to move forward as American citizens because they were raised here.
And so what can we do?
What can we do to create a path for permanent residency for the Dreamers?
What can we do to create a path of permanent residency?
So our proposal is to have that discussion and find a way that we can create a path to citizenship for the Dreamers.
That alone will bring the number down.
There's almost a million Eligible dreamers that if a comprehensive plan for them to become citizens would be adopted by our federal government, you know, that would make a significant impact.
The other thing is, you know, the deportation idea does not have to be ignored.
There are people here who should not be here.
They're here to do us harm.
There are people, and they're not just from one country.
They're not just from Hispanic countries or from Mexico or from China.
No, they're from various countries.
There's people here that if we run a background check, if we do our due diligence, it will be revealed that we should not allow them to stay here.
And so I think that needs to be dealt with and those people should be sent back to their country of origin.
And then there are people who have come illegally, and they have not honored the process they have not honored the law.
Do I believe that if those people have not committed crimes, if they have gotten a job and they've been here to contribute, do I believe those people should be deported?
No, I think that there should be a consequence.
And so part of our proposal is that those individuals that came here illegally and they've been here for several years and they've been working And, you know, every every state law is different as to whether or not immigrants can get a driver's license or temporary work permit or whatever.
But the bottom line is those people should pay a. Pay a penalty, there should be a consequence where they can they cannot become citizens, but they can become legal residents and whatever that process is going to create for them.
So be it.
That's the price of coming over illegally.
But then also a system where we are.
We're providing work permits where individual countries can have, you know, through their embassies and through their process, their visa process, we can continue to facilitate and invite people who want to come here legally to work.
To study.
We have an entire industry now opening up in this country of artificial intelligence and just the whole technological wave is just going and going and going, right?
It's kind of like never ending.
And we need people.
And you know what, Jerry, I will say this.
You know, the wokeness in our culture is consuming our young people.
And instead of, you know, going out to study, study in the technology, in the technology industry, or instead of going out and studying engineering and medicine and all of these other, these professions that we need our next generation to be very sharp in moving forward.
Um, they're caught up in, in this, in this kind of culture war where they want to, you know, they, they want to consume information, uh, based on identity politics and based on gender studies and, and all these things that if you look down the road, I mean, what are we, what are you going to do with that sort of an education?
You're going to write books.
You're going to go on MSNBC and be a commentator.
What you're going to teach in a, in a university.
So like, you know, It's immigrants coming to this country to study in these particular fields that we're talking about that I believe are going to sustain these industries in the future because of sort of this wave of wokeness in our education system.
And it's a big problem, Jerry.
And I think we need to look at the immigration situation from that lens as well.
So it's robust.
It's not kind of like this single path Uh, to a solution.
And, um, and even if you're advocating for, uh, people to come over, which we, like you just said it, I believe we should allow, you know, in a legal fashion, in an orderly fashion, in a strategic fashion.
Uh, so I think we could talk about all of those things.
Um, but, but our proposal has been that, and we're, we're hoping to communicate it to the Trump campaign.
And I will say this, um, We have to stop with that with, you know, with certain, you know, messaging and certain rhetoric that just it doesn't, uh, it doesn't resonate with the idea that, um, we have, uh, we, we understand that these, the lives of immigrants are, are dignified and they're, they're, they're, they have worth and they've been made in the image of God.
And, and we say certain things about immigrants that are coming over, whether or not they're taken out of context is irrelevant, but Let's adopt a rhetoric.
Let's adopt a vernacular that leads us to not belittling anyone, no matter what the situation.
We're not even only talking about the immigrants.
I think in general, There's times where you need to call a spade a spade, and when somebody needs to be called out for shamefulness, for lies, for trying to promote a narrative that is not in line with American values, I think that needs to be called out.
In a way that is firm and bold, but putting labels on people and especially when it comes to migrants is just not the way to go.
And it's been done on numerous occasions by different people.
But I think we can do a lot to the issue by simply talking about it with some decency.
Well, these are all important points, and the Dreamers, of course, are the children who came here with parents, and they probably had no idea what was going on except to come with the parents.
It was not their decision to come to the United States, and they are a very special group of people that I think have been born here, grown up here, know America as their home.
All the themes, Robert, that you're talking about I have become extremely important to me.
This is a Christian message.
This is a message of Jesus Christ.
It's a message of love.
It's a message, you know, what I've been opposed to for the last 20 years has been for the, you know, neo-Marxist attempt to utilize To exploit the Hispanics and to use them as a tool, you know, to change the demographics of the United States.
They all think they're all going to vote Democrat because the Democrats let them into the country.
But when I see what the Democrats are for, the values that they represent, these are not Latino values.
I mean, the, you know, the homosexuality, the lesbianism, the idea of this woke gender nonsense.
It really, the whole ideology talks about social justice, but all they do is exploit race and divide on race.
And what we have to do is we have to get beyond that.
We have to see, like you said, we're all human beings.
We were all born in the image of God, image and likeness of God.
We have souls and we're all equal in that.
We're all going to die.
We're all born.
We're all going through a spiritual exercise here.
And the evangelical nature in the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference, NHCLC, and Chris, if you'll put that back up on the screen, I want to emphasize this.
It is so right on target.
I feel uplifted going to the Megafest in Harrisburg and listening to the preaching.
The preaching is in Spanish, but there's someone there translating, but I follow the Spanish.
It's more fun to follow it in the Spanish, understanding it.
There's much more of a spirit and a feeling in the Spanish than the English.
You know, the music, all the aspects of this come together.
But the key thing that when I developed Abla, there's lots of ways we could have marketed it.
We could put it on AM radio.
There's lots of things we could do to have gotten it into the Hispanic community.
It was on my heart, and I can't even really explain why.
Sometimes I, you know, wake up early in the morning and say, why did I want to go this route?
I wanted to do it through the churches.
It was the pastor's need to deliver this message.
It is truly an evangelical message of health.
Absolutely.
And that's, I think, where I said that Abba Con MD for me is my mission at this point in my life.
Not just a business, but a calling of God to Make this happen.
And we're going to grow this and work together as brothers and sisters in this effort to make this happen.
Now, a couple more things I want to emphasize here.
This has been extremely helpful.
I really appreciate it, Robert.
I think our audience is going to really appreciate this.
Your role, you're one of the leaders of the organization.
And your role is a double role.
You head the chapters, so all the different states you're working in, and I want you to talk about that for a minute.
And also you're heading what you're calling this prophetic activism.
In other words, the ability to bring faith-based policy issues into the church so that it can be discussed from the pulpit in a biblical context.
Yeah.
When we deal with issues like Homosexuality, we deal with abortion, we deal with all these cultural issues.
We're facing a spiritual war here.
This is a spiritual war.
Absolutely.
You want to discuss those issues?
I really would appreciate it.
Yeah, 100%.
Yeah, you mentioned, you know, the prophetic activism aspect and sort of directing the chapters nationally.
But another aspect of this, sort of outside of the scope of the actual organization, but also in line with the same objective.
Is my role with our locally statewide with what we call the Church Ambassador Network of our Family Policy Council here in Pennsylvania.
And so I do our Hispanic Church engagement.
And because of the NACLC's, you know, brand and NACLC's work, I kind of like just came integrated into that as well.
But like, so the reason why I'm mentioning this Jerry's because before I talked about, you know, everybody's everybody has their portion of the wall, and it's in, and it's about us coming together to get the wall done to build it.
These relationships sort of epitomize that, right?
So you have a great organization, the Family Policy Organization here in Pennsylvania, working alongside the NACLC, and the prophetic activism is dead in the water without those types of relationships.
It's dead in the water.
And so we see partnership, we see like-minded organizations that will come alongside us and say, we believe in that vision, we believe in those values, and we want to be the vehicle to promote those values and stand for them and advocate for them.
And so prophetic activism is about all of those things, right?
It's about bringing these different organizations together and being able to make a difference in our government.
You know, the whole idea of the separation of church and state, it doesn't apply to this initiative because It's a fine line between understanding that particular provision in our Constitution, the way it was meant, which is the state cannot impose a one-state religion.
The state cannot impose a specific religion on its constituency, on its citizens.
There's a separation there, people, and then on the back side of that, establish the clause for religious freedom.
So that's a fine line between that and saying, oh, well, the church needs to stay on the periphery and not get engaged in the government.
The two things are totally different animals, right?
So we encourage engagement from the church in the realm of government.
We encourage proposals and not just protesting.
You know, we encourage prayer.
Prayer is key.
And so when you look at the Bible, especially in the Old Testament, for every king there was a prophet, right?
And that prophet would come with the Word of God and would tell the king, And God would speak, no matter how evil the king was, God would speak to the king through the prophet and would say, if you, then I, right?
So it's one of these, if you, then I will.
And, and it always, what I love about God, Jerry, is that he always gives you the choice.
He doesn't obligate anybody.
And so we want to be that voice.
We want to be that voice through efforts like the Church Ambassador Network that I mentioned, through the NHCLC, through all of the organizations that we're trying to bring together of like-minded values.
We want to bring them together.
And we want to be that voice to our government, Republican, Democrat, Libertarian, Independent, doesn't matter.
We want to be our voice to the government, the voice of God, the voice of biblical principles.
And we want to be able to say, you need the church if you want to see your communities thrive.
You know, you need the church.
These are the principles that are going to lead to a thriving nation.
To a thriving nation.
This is what we believe, and we have proof of this.
You know, and so that's what prophetic activism is.
So obviously, you know, I mentioned are the three directives, you know, you know, the sanctity of life is something that we are going to continue to advocate for every every life has value.
Every life is precious, including unborn life and That we can have another show.
I'd love to have another show just on this topic, Jerry.
We will do that.
We will do that.
You know, you can see my sweater, the March for Life this year.
We're very engaged in that space.
And we want to redeem the narrative because what the pro-abortion lobby is trying to message, you know, that the pro-life movement is anti-woman.
Oh, that's just so disingenuous and so wrong.
It gets me excited, but we'll talk about that in another, on another occasion.
So, you know, we, we, and so we, we see this in three ways, prophetic activism.
We want to influence media and, and how can we provide an alternative media stream for the Hispanic church and for the Hispanic community?
Something that is not narrative based, something that is not agenda, agenda driven.
Truthful, honest, no agenda news and podcasts and radio programs and video podcasts and articles.
How can we?
So we want to provide that media, the alternative media stream.
We want to pull them away from MSNBC and CNN and Telemundo and Univision.
The second one is how can we influence our state legislatures, because that's where we believe advocacy has to start in our states.
Everyone wants to go to Capitol Hill and the Congress and Senate.
No, it has to start in our at the state level.
Because those are the laws that govern our very daily lives.
So how can we increase the Latino church's influence and advocacy role at the state level?
And then thirdly is elections.
We want to influence elections.
We want to get out the vote.
We want to get Latino evangelicals registered to vote.
We want to focus on our efforts on On really affecting our local, our state, and our federal elections because we want to vote biblical values.
And so if there's a Democrat out there that is aligned with our biblical values and is going to promote life, religious liberty, and biblical justice, they're an option for our people to vote for.
I don't know that I, I don't know that I can count on one hand a candidate that fits that bill from their party.
So unfortunately that's part of the conversation.
Um, and so we, we, those are the three aspects of our prophetic activism is elections, media, and, uh, and, uh, and, and advocacy at the state level.
Well, I think it's very important.
And, uh, you know, we, I have, we have great contacts in the, Anglo-evangelical community, and we're going to bring people together.
We're going to bring organizations together.
There's organizations that want to work with you, and that you want to work with, and we're going to facilitate that.
And we've created some technology.
I've begun showing it on TheTruthCentral.com, this e-pipe technology, which I'm now selling some of the books in my author's collection.
And this technology is very, very powerful.
It's a social media network that you own, that is not gonna be penetrated by the government or by some other organization who's monitoring everything going on.
And content can be shared between organizations.
We'll be explaining all this and it's very powerful.
And this whole package has come together I think, you know, I say we're just following in the footsteps here of Jesus.
He's directing this.
We're not directing it.
We're just servants here.
We're trying to make it happen according to His plan and His will.
And it is going to happen.
You know, there's only too many, too limited a number of physicians in the country to handle the need.
And telemedicine is going to make those physicians have a greater reach, more convenient, reasonable price.
Forgetting insurance right now in the Latino community is extremely expensive and extremely difficult for health insurance.
Yes, it is.
And so, I kind of want to wrap up here.
I'm going to ask you to do a prayer, but first I want to reach for my Bible here for a minute.
The other day I was in a conversation and I had in my notes, and I just happened to see it, I don't even remember why I wrote it down or when I wrote it down, but it's a passage from Luke, and let me just get it here in front of me and then I'll read it.
Hold on a second.
It's Luke, 9-1, and I just had this written down and saw it, and I read it again yesterday, and it really pulled a lot together for me.
Luke 9-1, then he, Jesus, called his 12 disciples together, And gave them power and authority over all devils and to cure diseases.
Nine one.
Power over all devils and to cure diseases.
I love that verse.
I find these themes go together all the time.
And the more I've seen it, when this idea, you know, ideas come to me, I don't, I don't, it's God saying, take a look at this.
And, um, To God they go together.
Authority over all devils and to cure diseases.
We have an evangelical mission to make sure people are healthy.
Healthy in body, healthy in mind, and healthy in spirit.
And I think that's the reason I was compelled to bring this to the world through the pastors.
And we're going to accomplish that mission.
It will take some time, but we're going to accomplish the mission.
Amen.
And, Pastor, I'd like to ask you to close us in prayer and to bless this effort and invite many, many people to join us.
This is a journey that we're going to go on, and we invite everybody to join us on this journey.
So, Pastor, if you would.
I'll pray.
Heavenly Father, we come before you so grateful and just so honored that you have chosen us for this time to carry your mission, to carry just your word and disseminate it and preach it, share it with the world.
And we're just so grateful for this platform that you have given us.
And we ask God that you would give us the favor, that you would give us the grace to reach people who perhaps we would normally disagree with, who perhaps have never heard this message.
And that your Holy Spirit, Lord God, can work in their hearts as they hear this message.
And there could be true transformation in their hearts, God.
We don't do this for man.
We do this for you.
And we just pray that you would continue to unite every piece that needs to come together, Lord, to advance, to advance your will here on earth and to expand your kingdom here on earth.
So we thank you for this opportunity.
We thank you.
We pray blessing over Jerry and his and his organization and Habla con el MD and that it be able to make a huge impact on the Hispanic community.
In Jesus' name we pray, amen.
In Jesus' name, amen.
Thank you, Roberto.
This will be one of many we will do, and this is an open platform for you.
When you have something to say, you want to communicate, we'll do it.
We're just going to do these podcasts on a continued basis.
Sounds great.
This is Dr. Jerome Corsi, and I'm here with Robert Alberto Albino, who is one of the senior officers, leaders, of the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference.
And Chris, have you just shown on the screen both the NHCLC, which is NHCLC.org, And Ablakon.MD, take a look at both good websites.
Ablakon.MD, get familiar with it.
You can get a consultation directly through it.
Ablakon.MD.com.
And we're going to be working together for the next few years to, in God's name, create A program that we think will do a lot to advance the cause of Jesus, the cause of peace, the cause of love in this country.
And I always end things by saying, in the end, God always wins.
God will win here, too.
Amen.
Yes, he does.
Thank you so much, Jerry.
My pleasure.
Thank you, Robert.
We'll be back with much more as Dr. Jerome Corsi, TheTruthCentral.com.
