Today, our special guests are founders of Grint Down Chowdown, Jordan and Nace Roberts.
Our co-host today is Reverend Mondo De La Vega.

We're glad you've tuned in with us today.
You know, this is Jim Baker's PTL Television Network.
Yeah, it is.
He reminded me that the other day on the phone.
Don't you ever forget.
He said, don't forget that.
You know, we were on the phone.
He was sharing some wisdom about just how he's done this for, what, 60 plus years?
I told him, I said, Dad, you've been in ministry for 70 years.
He goes, no, I haven't.
I'm not that old.
Okay, you've been in ministry for 60 years.
But, you know, it's important that we take advice from those who have done it for so long.
You know, notice the church theme is these younger pastors will come up and God bless them.
You know, they feel like they know what the world wants and what they need to do and all the keys to the king.
They feel like they got it all under control.
And I'm glad that I've had those men to keep me humble through the process, but also say, hey, there's a better way of doing this.
There's a more effective way of doing this.
There's a better way to go out there and minister the gospel.
You know, hey, you're wrong on this theologically.
You're right on this.
And I think we need wise counsel, don't we?
Until you hit something difficult in ministry, you don't realize how much you need the wisdom.
You absolutely need it.
And there's a lot of young ministers out there trying to do it all alone is what dad used to call the Lone Ranger ministers.
And you can't be alone out there in the world when you're dealing with people, when you're dealing with ministries.
Today, you have to have a Bible on one hand and a lawyer on call on the other hand.
Because I want to tell you something.
The fight is real.
And you got to get around people that loves to study the word.
People that can guide you when you have marriage problems, when you, you know, you're working seven days a week in ministry.
Why is it so important to take a rest?
Listen, all those key elements, it's what's going to help you develop in ministry and understand that the time and the season that we're in right now is a God moment.
That God wants to build your faith through all these things.
But you got to have some good mentors around you.
Amen.
You absolutely do.
That's why you have me around, right?
No.
I'm just kidding.
You have to be quiet.
You know, Mondo is my elder.
Mondo's old enough to be my father, actually.
He's my brother.
But I have to give him his respects.
He is old enough to be my father.
Oh my gosh, this guy.
I have to give him my respect.
Anyway, so let's read the word of God.
Let's go back to the word.
James chapter 5.
You know, this is why I brought this up is because, you know, it's important.
I heard a story the other day.
A pastor was preaching.
He was in person.
We were talking.
He said, you know, somebody walked up to him and said, hey, I want to need you to pray for me.
And they said, okay, I'll pray for you.
And he goes, no, I need you to do it right now.
I need to know what you're praying.
You know, I said, hey, praise God.
That's the truth.
Sometimes we don't know what people are praying, but the prayers of a righteous person, the Bible says, are a good thing.
It says right here in James chapter 5, verse 13, is anyone among you suffering?
He should pray.
Wow.
Is anyone cheerful?
He should sing praises.
Is any among you sick?
He should call for the elders of the church and they are to pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.
The prayer of faith will save the sick person and the Lord will raise him up.
If he committed sins, he will be forgiven.
Therefore, confess your sins one to another and pray for one another so that you may be healed.
For the prayer of a righteous person is very powerful in its effect.
And I appreciate that.
Wait a minute.
The prayer of faith will save what?
Yeah, yeah, will save the sick person.
That's right.
The problem is not in asking.
The problem is you don't have the faith to believe for healing.
How is it that you have the faith to believe that God created the heavens and the earth, but you can't have enough faith for God to heal your cancer?
Come on, you got to get real with this.
How do we have enough faith to believe that God sent his beloved son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross to forgive us of our sins, but we don't have enough faith to believe that God can heal your sugar diabetes?
Faith is the key element that, listen, can I shake your theology for just a moment?
Jesus said, who touched me?
Yeah, I touched the hem of my garment.
It was me.
Because of your faith, you are healed.
He never said because you went to church five days a week.
He didn't say because you fasted and prayed.
Now, all those things are great.
And I want you to go to church five days a week if you want to do that.
Fast and pray.
But he, isn't it amazing he said, because of your faith.
You just read right here, the prayer of faith will save the sick.
That's right.
We have to have faith, Ricky.
Because faith says, I know God will do it.
Faith says, I know that God has already done it through Jesus Christ on the cross.
You know, when the centurion came to him and said, hey, you don't even have to come to my home.
I'm not worthy to have.
I'm a man of authority just like you are.
Just say the word and it'll be done.
And Jesus said, I haven't seen faith like this in all of Jerusalem.
Now, he's talking with his disciples in the room.
The 12 men who are with him all the time.
And he's saying to the centurion, I haven't seen faith like this.
I'm telling you right now, believer, we have to have faith that if God said he will do it, then he will do it.
It says right here, the prayer of a righteous person is very powerful in its effect.
Friends, we need to ensure that we are praying for one another constantly, consistently interceding.
You know, Mondo, over the last few decades, I've realized we have developed, and it's no one particular person's fault.
It's no one denomination's fault.
We've developed a very selfish prayer life where it's me and my family, everyone else fend for themselves.
But we see inconsistency.
If anyone among you suffering, he should pray.
Is anyone cheerful?
He should sing praises.
Is anyone among you sick?
He should call for the elders of the church and they are to pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.
You got to get around people that have faith.
I don't like to be around people.
I'm sick today.
No, get around people that believe I'm not going to be sick anymore.
Why?
Because by his stripes, we are healed.
The Bible says that no weapon form against you shall prosper.
It's time for you to get around some people that will build your faith and stop hanging around people that are complaining, always say, I'm just sick.
I just, nothing's going to work for me.
Oh, nothing's getting right.
I refuse to believe I'm going to die.
Yeah, yeah.
You live like that.
Yeah.
I believe that this ministry was birthed out of faith, understanding that out of faith, Ricky, we believe that God is going to heal the sick through this program.
Amen.
Out of faith, as you're watching right now and you're hearing this word, God is healing you right now.
God is building your faith.
One day we ought to sit around and talk about the faith-building moments of this ministry because it's going to encourage you to start having faith for your own family.
Amen.
Thousands of letters, the thousands of emails that we received where people were giving their testimonies as well, friends.
I want to encourage you, continue to believe for the thing that God told you he would do.
If God told you he would do it, that he is good to finish the work in which he said he would begin.
And he started in your life, friend.
I want to encourage you, continue to believe for whatever it is that God said he would do in your life.
Because, friends, I'll tell you right now, if the word of God was given to you, believer, I promise you, that is a good word.
Ricky, I think about this.
When God speaks to you, you have to have the faith to follow what he told you he was going to do through you.
Obedience takes faith.
Yeah.
Say it again.
Yeah, obedience takes faith.
God told you to go remodel the tabernacle.
That's right.
Rebuilding.
No money.
That's right.
No people.
Or a few good workers.
Yeah, some volunteers, though.
No, no, yeah.
But you don't have the budget to go hire people.
No, God spoke to you and you did what God called you to do.
Amen.
That's called faith.
Amen.
Faith sees what no one else sees.
Faith builds character.
Faith builds obedience.
Why?
Because it's that concept.
I'm shouting.
I'm a preacher.
I was going to say, he's evangelizing now.
Listen, I need to calm down because I'm just excited about the word.
I've never been more in love with the word than any other time in my life than now because God is showing this ministry the steps that we're taking right now are ordered.
Listen to this by who, Ricky?
By God.
By God.
Amen.
God Himself.
You're laying around looking at Moses when God is trying to show you the Joshua moment in your life.
Quit hanging around dead things and focus in what God wants you to focus on, which is his promised land.
Yes.
That's called faith.
Oh, man.
You got me preaching.
Come on.
Amen.
Amen.
We have to have faith, believer.
I want to encourage you today.
If you haven't given your life to Jesus Christ, there's never been a better day to do it than right now.

Yeah, is wise.
Is wise.
That's right.
You're wise.
Amen.
Well, we want to make sure that people go to heaven.
We care about your eternal position more than your temporary happiness while here on earth.
Because I promise you, the devil can throw happiness in your face all day long.
He can say, well, this can make you happy or that can make you happy.
But there's only one place where joy comes from, and that is Jesus Christ and Jesus Christ alone, friends.
You know, Mondo, there's a lot to be joyful about, even in a fearful world, even when there's things that are uncertain.
Even whenever you turn on the news and they're talking about aliens, they turn on the news, they're talking about AI taking over the world.
Turn on the biblical prophecy shows and they're talking about the Antichrist and how he's alive today and he's setting up the beast system.
Even through all of that, we can remain joyful.
Believer, I promise you this: God has been God since the very beginning.
Since before anything was, he was.
And long after everything finds its end, when eternity finds its end one day, he will still be God.
He'll still be in control.
He'll still be on the throne that is far above every power, principality, ruler over everything.
And that is the God who loves you and wants to be in your life.
You know, when we have a conference coming up where we're going to be talking about difficult things, but we're going to be getting them answered from a biblical perspective.
That's the most important part: we can have a worldview perspective.
You know, you can go and look anything up about aliens, AI, and the Antichrist on the history channel.
Yeah, I remember sleeping at Grandma Shar's house when I was a young man.
So I always slept on the couch and she always left the TV on 24 hours a day.
She had the TV on.
It was always on the history channel, unless she was watching news.
But I remember waking up, you know, two or three in the morning because there's a World War II documentary going on or alien documentary.
I remember being freaked out.
I was like nine or ten.
I remember like, my goodness, what is she watching right now?
But you know, I'd watch those documentaries about aliens and the ones about, you know, can technology rule in the world one day and the ones that we're talking about.
The world has always had their opinion, but facts come from the word of God.
And we're going to be getting facts here at this conference that we're having.

The future moves fast, meaning even the way we eat beef is changing because the bioengineering, guys, of food is ridiculous.
And here we have a product with you guys today that it is grass-fed, but the key is grass-finished.
Why is it that so important?
Because you were telling us about the grain, and I think the cows have a larger stomach than us, but why is grain so not good?
Right.
So the cows even have more stomachs than us.
So that allows them to ferment their food.
Typically like chickens, poultry, that stuff goes right.
Pork goes right into their system, right?
Cows, they ferment their food.
So that helps protect us.
You are what you eat.
So those cows help filter some of that out of us, right?
But the cows, they're just not made to do that grain.
That's just not normal for them.
So I was talking to not only one of my doctor friends, but also an old-time rancher.
He's been doing it for generations.
And he was telling me, I will never eat anything but grass-fed.
grass-finished.
He said, it doesn't matter if it says grass-fed.
Everything's grass-fed if it's in the pasture.
It's going to eat grass.
But he said, it's got to be grass-finished.
He said, because there's a one-to-one ratio on your omega-3s.
So you have omega-3 and you have your omega-6s.
Okay.
So if you look at it, your omega-3s are a blood thinning agent.
Your omega-6s are a blood thickening agent.
He said, as soon as you put that cow on grain, he said it jumps up from a one to one to a one to 20 or a one to 50.
He said, he said, I'm not a genius, but he said, if you have any type of restrictions in your body, your heart, your, you know, anywhere at all, he said, that's going to cause the, you know, the increased possibility of strokes, heart attacks, or whatever.
So I ended up talking to my doctor friend, which he's a believer as well.
And he said, 100%.
He said, when you start getting those ratios off on your omegas, he said, stuff is going to happen inside of your body.
And so that was why I was telling you is that it's really important that it's not just grass-fed, but it's grass-finished.
And he was telling me as well, when they take these cattle into the feedlot, he said they're only allowed to put them in there so many days because he said 190 days, do you guys have any idea what happens?
Their liver completely explodes.
Yeah.
So they can only be there a certain amount of time or dust.
I think he said 60 or 90 days before they got to get them out of there.
That's crazy.
Right.
You know, Mondo, we've also seen with the trade disputes, potential tariffs, they're causing disruptions in the trade industry, but also for the meat industry as well.
Listen, we are at war.
I don't know if you realize, but we are in a different type of war.
And we have woke up to a different America.
I don't think people expected the results that they were trying to receive when they elected Donald Trump.
This thing has taken a turn for a different route.
And who is hurting?
Is our farmers, is the cattle industry.
And Ricky, we are in that really at a turning point in America.
We don't know where it's going to go, but we know that we can put our trust on God.
The Bible tells us.
But at the same time, being practical, it's getting more expensive.
Things are changing.
The way you eat beef, the way you eat eggs, it's not the same as you used to.
So I'm going to lean on you for some advice on some of the things that you have on your farm because you're going to have to learn from one another.
And today, with grid down, chow down, we have an option.
Yeah.
That's the key.
A lot of people don't realize how tariffs work.
Obviously, it's a short-term negative view, but then there's a long-term benefit of it.
That's kind of how these trade wars work.
So yeah, the American people are feeling right now, you know, a slightly pinch, especially when it comes to their finances, food security, things like that.
But how has it affected the beef industry?
That's kind of my question to you.
And Nace, you can answer that if you want.
Yeah, I mean, I would say just me and George talked about we used to go buy these big Tinderlings, a whole slab of Tinderlings.
We used to pay like, what, was it $95?
$60, $60,000, $75.
And so we went another day to buy them just because we were having a family outing.
And guess how much it was?
Couldn't tell you.
It was $2.75.
Wow.
For half the weight.
Wow.
So it's half the steak, half the weight, and it's less quality.
So even the other day, so the way we run is, one, viewers, we're family-owned, family operated, and we try to stand by a principal, a farmer's principal, a handshake principal.
And so we usually like to keep our prices the same way.
If you go to the store right now, you see every day they slap.
I was telling Jordan, they slap a sticker on there on the weight, kind of like gas prices.
Today it's this, this, this.
We try to keep it over the other sticker.
So you see the other.
We try to keep it reasonable.
So affordable to the same people.
What you see on the website, we try to keep that.
So the way we do that is if we have to go to our local farmer and say, hey, we'll buy another 2,000, 3,000 pounds to keep this price.
Can you guys guarantee this?
And the other day, one of our ranchers said, hey, the price is going up.
And so we're like, oh, okay, what do we need to do to keep it at the same price?
So we're seeing the same thing, but we try to negotiate on our end to one, keep our word in the prices.
Because I don't want to raise the prices up for everybody.
Yeah, we're not a gas station.
We're not going to fluctuate every single day.
We're going to try to get something and set it and forget it and try to figure out the best way whether we speed up our production.
You know, can we reduce costs somewhere else?
Can we, you know, so we so we look at all those avenues, but you know, one of the things, did you guys watch the state of the union or the address of the union?
So one of the things that Trump said was that, hey, we're going to start doing tariffs, right?
Yes.
And he said, hey, my farmers, my ranchers, I love you guys.
But hang in there with me.
Basically, he was saying it's going to get worse.
It's going to get tough.
It's going to get worse.
Short term tariffs do.
Yeah, they do have a pinch on it.
Now, the bad thing is the very first, almost a year ago now, right?
Was the first time we were on here.
And we talked about 200 years ago, over 75% of the population was ranching and farming.
Yes.
And then you jump up, you know, 50 years, and all of a sudden you see that cut in half.
Now, now we jump all the way to 2025.
Last year, it was 2%.
So 2% of the population was feeding the other 98% of America.
Do you guys have any idea what the projections are for this year?
I don't even want to know.
Tell us what it is.
Why are you asking us questions?
Well, we look like we no, I'm kidding.
So, so the projections are 1.2 to 5%.
Wow.
Or to 0.5%, so half of a percent.
Wow.
And that is what's going to be.
That's within a year.
So let's say on the positive end, let's say that, you know, the hyper-positive end, it was 1.5% of the country will be feeding the rest of the population of the country, as well as trying to export possibly to different countries as well.
Because we do see American beef farmers also exporting to different nations as well.
Right.
That doesn't sound like a winning ratio to me, Mondo.
I don't know about you, but no, and then on top of that, you throw in the bird flu.
Oh, yeah, we've been seeing that.
What's going on with that?
Yeah, so when you look at the bird flu, that has affected millions of cattle have died from that weather.
Either I hadn't, I didn't get too much into it.
Either they're executing them or taking care of them.
But I mean, there's 100,000, oh, no, 100 million birds that they've wiped off the planet.
I mean, that's going to take a long time to recover from.
Yeah.
Well, hey, we do want to talk about this.
You guys have a brand new product you're going to be introducing today.
It's the first time I believe you guys are introducing this.
This is incredible.
As well as we were on the phone, you guys actually have a few new products coming out in the line, but this one is very, very exciting.
Those ones might be a couple months out, but this one right here is ready and it's here today.

Right.
Yeah, I mean, I mean, the whole thing was that the country came to a point to where we were concerned about our families.
And so we did the whole thing where we bought all the freeze meat or, you know, where you put it in the deep freezer.
First time the power goes out, we realize this isn't a good way to keep going.
This wasn't a sustainable way.
And you just told me all the things that you bought during 2020.
Yeah.
It's all bad.
And it's all bad because, I mean, all the ramen noodles.
Yeah.
I spent thousands of dollars on mac and cheese and ramen noodles and all that stuff.
It goes bad.
Did you guys know that?
I didn't know that.
You can eat it, but it doesn't taste good.
It's a little weird.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I believe it.
And so this was just a journey out of trying to protect our family, trying to get ready because we were feeling the birth pains.
We were seeing what was coming up.
And we just knew that it was time for us to take action about it.
But anyways, the people have asked, that's the reason why this is here in the freezer.
We delivered.
And we delivered it.
So people were asking, hey, you know, if things are going to happen, I don't want to nest, like, can you make it more convenient?
You know, people like convenient things.
They like Amazon Prime, but they were like, can you just pre-make my burger patties for me so I can just rehydrate them and slap them on the grill?
And it's not cooked, right?
It's not cooked.
It's raw.
And so here are the freeze-dried patties.
And so these will come in the same amount of servings as our normal ground beef does, right?
So it's still the steak burger.
So it's still all those fine cuts, the ribeyes, the New York strips, the tenderloin, all that stuff.
So it has all the great cuts in there.
But it's made in, it's made in quarter-pounder patties.
Okay.
Right.
So you just rehydrate.
If I was going to rehydrate this patty, I would rehydrate them separately.
And they're going to take about two and a half to three and a half ounces of water.
So you just kind of judge there shouldn't be any leftover water in it.
It should be completely rehydrated.
Perfect.
But if you put all four of those together and rehydrate all of them, they're going to try to start blending together.
So you want to do it separately, right?
But Nase, if you want to pour some water in there.
Perfect.
And then I also have some that I pre-rehydrated this morning that we're going to be cooking for you guys to test out.
Mondo said he's going to sit over here and eat.
So I'm going to hold him to that.
I would like Mondo to take a bite of one of these.
The raw patties?
Yeah, yeah.
There you go.
That's all you.
So all you have to do is just pour water over.
Yeah, it's the same concept as the product, the same.
It's just the exact same process.
So 10 to 15 minutes or until completely soft, until all the water is rehydrated in there.
Then you're ready to cook it.

You know, one of the things is that you got to have different options, right?
Because a lot of people don't visualize the different type of options that you can do and use the beef with.

Tell me a little bit more about that.
Well, I mean, we have a couple companies and it's always difficult to figure out how do you tie in the gospel without, you know, getting sued, you know, all these things.
And so for this company, because it was never meant to be a company in the first place, you know, we did it out of a necessity for our family.
And so when friends and family started asking, hey, can you make me this too?
Can you get me some of this too?

I was traveling with our family to South Texas.
Yeah.
And I get a phone call from our dear friend, Lisa.

And then all of a sudden, Mondo pops on.

Like, you guys made meat.
And I'm like, yeah.
And we just started talking, and that's how it rolled.
I mean, that was like 2024, about October.

She's herding.
She's having to take it to the feedlot or she's having to take, she's just having to take it to the barns just to get whatever they'll give to her.

So they're making it really hard.
That's why it's dropped over half since last year.
Come on, God's people.
We got to help each other.
This is why the world's going to be mad at the church because while the world is dark, there's going to be a light in Goshen.
That means God's people are going to survive.
No, we're going to thrive.
We're going to live.
Why?
Because that's God's plan for you, for the church.
Well, how do you know that?
Well, let me take you to a little scripture called Jeremiah 29, 11.
For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord.
Oh, his plans is for you to succeed and not fail.
