It is an honor that you are tuned in with us today.
I was making a lighthearted joke at Mondo.
The last time we did the show, they didn't put Reverend in front of his name.
I said, you know, there it is.
They took it from, now they gave it back to him.
Today I'm a reverend.
Yesterday I was a house cleaning.
That's right, janitor.
We're all janitors around here.
But hey, you know what?
It's the day that the Lord has made.
Pastor Jim is on sabbatical right now.
He's taking a much needed break.
He requested for Mondo, hey, can I have a few weeks off?
And Mondo finally said yes.
That's my ongoing joke.
People keep asking me, where is he?
And I keep saying, well, Mondo finally approved his time.
You know what I love?
Every time we see him, he says, who's in charge?
Are you in charge?
You're supposed to be in charge.
That's right.
You know, but no, I think one of the things that happens is that in ministry, you learn to wear different hats.
You learn that to be ready in season and out of season.
Meaning, today you can be on the show.
The next hour we can be in the back carrying boxes.
An hour later after that, we can be carrying the trees, taking the trash out, go out speaking.
You have to work with me.
You know, the key is this, I've learned, Ricky, over the 26 years serving in the ministry is just say yes to God and be willing to do whatever it takes to further the gospel of Jesus Christ.
The old timers used to say it will keep you humble.
It will keep you humble.
You know, one thing I realize that a lot of people overlook is ministerial burnout, where a lot of ministers, they work and work and work.
And then, you know, one day they're tired, don't want to get out of bed.
They're getting, you know, depressed and anxious and they're trying to figure out why.
And it's, well, brother, you've been working seven years.
You never took one break.
You haven't sat down and eaten a meal with your family in a while.
So it's good to take that time away to rest, recover.
And I know he has a word.
Actually, I have a word for you right now from Pastor Jim Baker.
This is something I want you to watch.
Really pay attention to what he's saying.
Isn't it something?
Why did Jesus died on the cross?
For our sins, for our failures, for our mistakes.
But yet when a Christian makes a mistake, sometimes people say, oh, you can't be forgiven.
And they proclaim that.
The enemy comes in and he wants to bring you down, not up.
But we have to every day stand on the word of the living God.
That's right.
And if you're going to make it this year, 2023, you're going to have to stand on the word of the living God.
Amen.
And the Bible says, when you've done everything you know to do, what does it say?
Stand.
Stand.
So when you've done everything you know to do, and it seems like it's all crumbling around, if it's your family life, it's your work life, whatever.
God says, Jesus says, I'm going to build my church and the gates of hell.
And we're going to face powers of hell in the next coming years.
We're going to face unbelievable situations.
But you must be with God.
You need the body of Christ to encourage one another.
We don't need naysayers.
We don't need people criticizing.
If you believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, right there, let's just stand on that.
Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
Amen.
He died on the cross for our sins.
And it doesn't make any difference if you're a Methodist or a Baptist or a Pentecostal or a Lutheran or whatever you are, Mondo.
What are you?
You know what you are?
I'm saved.
I'm saved by the blood.
Oh, did you see how you try to get me?
He's always trying to put a title.
There we go.
Hey, we're covered by the blood of Jesus.
Friends, it is important to make sure that you are standing on the word of God.
That is the most important thing.
It's your foundation.
I made a social media post the other day.
I don't know if you saw it, Mondo.
I don't know if you follow me on social media.
I don't.
But I'm often thinking of the homes that were built on two different foundations.
One was built on a solid foundation.
One was built on a sandy foundation or an unstable foundation.
I said, you know, the winds blew against both homes.
The water rose against both homes.
The storms were raging against both homes.
So both homes had to endure the same trials, the same tribulation.
One wasn't, you know, opted out of the storm just because it had a good foundation.
But the only difference between those homes was the foundation.
It's a clear example.
One had the foundation, which is Jesus Christ, the only way to heaven, the one and the true and the living God, and the other clearly didn't.
And it shows you when trials and tribulations come and your foundation isn't Jesus Christ, it is going to crumble.
There's an epidemic of Bible illiteracy in the church today.
That's right.
And this is going to give you a recent Lifeway Research study found that over 40% of the people attending or even reading the Bible occasionally, maybe once or twice a month, and almost one in five churchgoers say they never read the Bible.
And then you wonder why people are falling into deception when it comes to the culture because they don't know their word.
Or they can't defend the faith.
Not only that, when temptation comes.
That's how we fight it.
Listen, you're going to get me preaching because I am so overwhelmed on the studies and the research of how many pastors do not study the word and they don't even open up the word of God until the day of preaching.
Meaning they don't study the word.
They don't teach you that when temptation comes, the greatest weapon you have is the word.
That's right.
When Jesus was tempted, what did he use?
The word.
He said, it is written.

I don't know.
So I don't know why I say it that way.
It is written.
That's right.

When you understand the word, you understand that that is part of the armor of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
The only offensive weapon that the armor carries is the sword.
It's the sword of the word of God.
Yet most people leave their home without being prepared with the word of God.
Without putting their armor on.
You know, we've turned it into this cutesy Bible story that we tell our kids before bed or on Sunday school or Wednesdays while we're trying to keep them distracted while we listen to our pastor.
But friends, it is truly a spiritual battle in which we are fighting.
You must put on the full armor of God every single day.
You know, I just think about this.

Of course, John, we love you.
And I feel like we're family.
But I want to tell you something.
The more we can get the message out there, the more people are going to find it.

And it's, you know, changed Pastor Jim's life as well.
I mean, we watched him.
I don't know if we have the clip.
We're going to have to throw it into the show where he just got up one day.

We are in a time where we just faced a presidential election.
We now have our new president elect Donald Trump.
And as a business owner, you're an American patriot as well.
I mean, I know you love the United States of America.
What message would you have for President-elect Donald Trump on what steps he should take to fix the issues that America is facing right now, even with the health crisis?
Well, thank you.

I had hoped to be there in person.
We were invited to a couple of events in Mar-a-Lago.
So we actually are in West Palm Beach right now.
And I'd hope this connection is not distracting for the folks.
A couple of things.
One, I would tell President Trump, and I'm telling everybody that will listen to me: surround yourself with people of faith and people of character.
And almost the less they know about government, the better.
They need to know about business.
They need to know about being righteous stewards of character.
They need to understand our history.
They need to understand the mission and importance of the United States as a world leader.
And I'm very, very encouraged by the people he surrounded himself with recently, seeing the gathering of people, even though I don't politically agree with all of the different things that some of them are.
I think they're all patriots who care about this country.
And that's what we need is people who actually care about the country, because it seems like we've been dealing for the last few years with people who, you know, it goes back a couple of terms ago where people were apologizing for being Americans or being a part of our country.
And everyone seems so unhappy about living in this land.
And then this whole concept of destroying our cities.
You know, we were flying across the country the other day and I was looking down below and I thought, there's so many wonderful places that people can live.
And yet we're seeing really dangerous people being brought into our country and put into normal communities.
And I have to just add one other thing.
I finished this last week.
I finished Mondo's book.
And, you know, when I hear of the story of Mondo and his mother, his courageous mother, and coming to this country and her working, but him getting thrown in and absorbed into some of the lesser favorable fabric of this country and how the Lord brought him out, totally inspiring.
And I'd really tell anyone out there, this is a book you ought to read.
It's a great story of essentially the American dream and also the dream of the redemptive blood of Jesus Christ.
So kudos to that.
But I would hope that the president, I pray that the president will be safe, that he'll use good judgment, that he'll look forward, not necessarily deal with attacking people or whatever.
I think he's learned a lot from his previous experience.
And I'm hopeful that we're in for some really good years, but some really tough choices to fix the mess of the last 50, 60, 70 years.

I believe that we're going to have a very fruitful next four years.
We need to surround President-elect Donald Trump with the right people.
And like you said, honestly, at this point, it sounds weird, but the less they know about government, the better.
He just needs to be making the right choice and surround himself with good faith leaders.
You know, the producer ran this up to me while he was talking about this.
This is a great book, Mondo.
This is still available.
I just want to plug this because I think it's important.
This is a story that people need to hear.

And this is, I've heard this, Mondo, from so many people.
This is a book that isn't just for someone who's facing the situations you have.
It gives hope to really anyone of any class when they read this book.
Listen, America is the greatest nation to welcome immigrants from all over the world.
The key is we have to educate people to do it the right way.
That's right.
My mother was born in Los Angeles, California, yet my sister and I were born in Central America.
And when my mother decided to bring us back to her nation, she decided to make a decision that would change our lives forever.
Everyone else during the civil war in Central America was fleeing Central America and immigrating illegally to America, yet they paid the price.
My mother said, no, we've got to do it the right way.
I love America and I want my children to love America, but I want my children to do it the right way.
And it was a process, but it was the American dream.
And I want to tell you something.
Don't give up on America.
Don't give up on our leaders.
Pray for America.
Pray for our leaders and pray for the new administration to do the right thing so we can fix this border situation and the problem that we're facing because America is waking up to a new America with illegal immigrants doing barbaric crimes that we've never seen in America.
Yet it boils down on how we're going to fix the illegal immigration at the border.
Our southern border.
You know, Dr. Bell, I want to ask you this question.
Thanks for being back on the broadcast with us.
But do you feel like Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy are good choices to lead the new efficiency department, you know, this new branch of the government?
I think they're calling it DOE, D-O-G-E.
What do you think about them as PICS to help lead this?
Well, I find it funny.
There is a department now of government efficiency, which is an oxymoron.
We know government is never efficient at what it does, but having people like Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy, and perhaps they've been banding out the name Ron Paul, who is a real stalwart defender of our Constitution, to reduce the size and scope of government.

So I think that these folks that have operated as well in the business world in various ways recognize that the bloat that exists far beyond our constitutional limitations that were placed on government by our founding fathers is something that is impeding the freedom of the people to express even their mission and passion in life.
So to reduce that at any level, even if it's a small amount to a significant large amount, as they've indicated they want to do, would be to the benefit of, I believe, the free flow of spirit that is often hitting obstacles because government places those obstacles for us to fulfill our duty, purpose, and mission here.
And having God and faithful servants to serve in those positions would be a significant shift from what we've seen more recently.
And I'm very hopeful, ever hopeful, particularly because of my focal point on health and healing, is that we'll one day soon have that free flow of information that I've been invested in in my lifetime to communicate the truth about the power to heal, that it belongs to you and it comes from God.
And of course, that means it may come through things like supplements and foods and things that we are restricted in talking about very directly, even with sound scientific backing and validation, like with Cardiomiracle.
So I pray for that day soon that we will have more freedom and the muzzles will come off and we'll all be able to share the great news for those of you who are suffering ailments and illnesses that doctors have no earthly idea how to treat other than to poison you with FDA-approved pharmaceuticals.
So we are on the verge of something quite extraordinary as well with others in the administration, like Bobby Kennedy being nominated to head the Department of Health and Human Services.
I'm encouraged.
Wow.
You know, talking about that, I got to ask you this, Dr. Bell, because so many people, and I got to ask you this, why are so many people alarmed at the nomination of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. becoming the health and well-being of every America?
I think it's one of the keys to understand that no matter who President Trump chooses, they're going to war about it.
But why are they afraid of this nomination?
Well, Bobby Kennedy and his passion and mission that he's been very communicative about over many years is really threatening to the economic power of the pharmaceutical industrial complex, the big food, big agribusiness, all the biotech companies that poison us for profit.
And, you know, what moved me so much before he, when he shared his story of how he and Donald Trump came together after the assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania, he said, yeah, I had prayed every day, 30 minutes.
I prayed to God every day since 2005.
What did he pray for?
I was moved by this prayer.
It was so humble.
It was so beautiful.
I just prayed to God to please put me in a position where I can help those who are suffering, basically the chronically ill, the children of America, so that I could be in a position to actually make a difference.
What a beautiful prayer that was.
And indeed, when that opportunity came together, Donald Trump opened his heart as well.
And someone who was running against him for president, they came together and said, you know, this is too important.
So there are those that are not invested in the spirit like we are, like you are, that really are only interested in profit and power.
Yet there's a lot of real profit and real power in the love of God.
And that's where we have an opportunity to cross the divide that may have, you know, kind of artificially kept us apart, whether we had a D or an R or whatever by our name, and say that there's a higher purpose and a higher calling.
And I believe the threat is Bobby has been very prayerful in his life, particularly for the last 19 years to get to this place.
And Donald Trump proved to him, proved to us that he's a man beyond, you know, the ego, even though, of course, people have to have strong egos to survive at that level.
But there is more.
And the Spirit has moved these two men to do something extraordinary.
That's why we see the rising tide against that.
And we must speak out.
Reach out to all the senators, even if you don't think they would support Bobby Kennedy.
Reach out and tell them you want Bobby Kennedy to head the Department of Health and Human Services, and you will not take no for an answer.
Amen.
I love what he said.
The real power lies in our faith in God.
It really does.
It really lies in our faith in Jesus Christ.
And that is so true.

You know, I had a conversation with a brother, and I love this man of God.
He's a pastor down in Texas.
Texas is big enough, I can say that, and I won't be ousting him.
He's a pastor down in Texas, and I do love this man.
You know, I said, He asked, Hey, why do you sell health supplements whenever you go out and you talk?
And why are you pushing those?
And I said, Brother, and be honest with you, I care about people's physical health.
And he goes, Well, that's important.
He's, I really only care about their spiritual health.
I said, Brother, that is good because obviously, the first and foremost thing that we should be worried about as believers is someone's spiritual health.
But if they're dying and they wake up and they're in pain every single day, I said, Shouldn't that concern us too as pastors?
He goes, Oh, you have a good point.
So, we bantered back and forth, but it is true.
We should be also caring for the physical health of our church congregation.
We should be caring about the physical health of our brother and our sister.
You know, John, I want to ask you this: you know, you're not only the founder of Cardiomiracle, but you actually formulated this product.
You know, you started a quest to discover natural and effective ways of improving overall health.
Kind of lead us on that journey.
And why was it such an important thing to you to find a healthier way for Americans to survive?
Well, Ricky, one of the things that I could mention about your previous question about President Trump and Bobby Kennedy, because I think it's important, and Robert alluded to it.
But I found it really great when Bobby Kennedy, with a very passionate thing, says, I prayed and I prayed and I prayed that I'd be put in a position, and God sent me Donald Trump as an answer to his prayer.
I don't think he was expecting that.
And yet, when you go back through the scripture, there's many, many times where the Lord reveals natural things or unlikely people or unlikely circumstances to accomplish his purposes.
And so, I think that's really, really important.
And in my case, you know, it's interesting because I have people all the time who look at me and they go, Man, you know, he doesn't look that great.
He's kind of old.
He's a little bit short for his weight.
It doesn't look like anybody I'd be taking fitness advice from.
But, you know, the Lord uses sometimes the strangest vehicles.
And in the case of Cardiomiracle, I was just willing because I was personally on the verge of losing my life to genetic heart disease issues.
And once I started on the journey and I totally gave to the will, essentially, then miraculous things happen.
And as I go back over now 17 and a half years of this miracle impression, following those impressions, meeting the right people, one of the answers to my prayer was Robert Scott Bell, other people like him that along the path enlightened me about certain things that sounded important.
And I'd kind of think about them and then I'd try to connect the dots and then I would improve.
We've improved Cardio Miracle, it's either eight or nine times.
I think it's eight times, and then we just made a little minor flavoring adjustment again.
So probably nine times in 11 and a half years.
And, you know, and so we're always adjusting and trying to tweak it to be the best possible formula.

And that doesn't mean that ill, terminally ill people aren't more spiritual.
They're very spiritual.
But if you remember the three temptations of Christ, then the first one was he was tempted because he hadn't eaten for 40 days, 40 days of fasting.

And the adversary said, turn these stones into bread and show me that you're the son of God.
So the physical side is essentially the first temptation in life.
And we have to be able to feel at least decent to be able to be good servants.
