Indignation Rising
00:15:19
|
|
| Hello and welcome to the Jim Baker Family Show coming to you from the village of Morningside, USA, nestled in the beautiful Ozark Mountains. | |
| Today is day two with our special guests, the pastor of Mount Calvary Powerhouse Church in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Bishop Ron Webb, a missionary evangelist and founder of the Orphan's Hands, Philip Cameron. | |
| Our co-hosts today are Marty Sila Woodall, Mondo de la Vega, and Ricky Baker. | |
| And now, live from Gray Street at Morningside USA, here are your hosts, Pastor Jim and Lori Baker. | |
| Thank you, Brooke. | |
| I'm so glad to be here today. | |
| Yes. | |
| And, you know, I feel like I'm half dead, but I'm still here and I'm still here alive. | |
| Absolutely. | |
| And I have dreams and visions. | |
| And it's time that I got to warn you, we've got to stand with Israel. | |
| If we don't, then it will be doomed. | |
| Yes. | |
| So we must stand with Israel. | |
| If we don't, America is going to be attacked. | |
| That's right. | |
| Absolutely. | |
| The CIA is warning right now. | |
| The chief of the CIA is warning that the warning signs that happened during 9-11 are happening right now. | |
| And he's hoping that America is paying attention. | |
| Otherwise, we will have terror from within. | |
| Now, you got to go back to 1999 when you prophesied 31 things. | |
| One of the prophecies was that America will be facing terror from within. | |
| Yet, after 1999, here we're sitting in 2024, and the chief of the CIA is echoing the same words you gave in 1999. | |
| It is more true now than back then. | |
| Absolutely. | |
| Hezbollah, the leader of Hezbollah, just a few hours ago, and I quote, vows war without rules if Israel launches offensive. | |
| Wow. | |
| This is a key warning because the development of the events that are taking place right now while America is asking Israel to pull away Hezbollah is coming in. | |
| Will you say what you said between the broadcast about Hezbollah? | |
| Because I believe that's very important for people to understand. | |
| What you've been watching up to now is a war with Hamas. | |
| South Israel. | |
| In the north, there is a tribe called Hezbollah, a terrorist group called Hezbollah. | |
| Hamas are kindergarten compared to Hezbollah. | |
| Hezbollah has like 120,000 or 130,000 missiles, whereas Hamas had several thousand. | |
| And the fact that, as you said just now, Mondo, that the Ayatollah has said we're about to conduct war with no rules of combat. | |
| Scary. | |
| Now, I don't think they've got rules of combat. | |
| Anyone will go into a place and rape and kill children and cut women's breasts off in October the 7th. | |
| They're animals, and the only thing you can do is put them down. | |
| That's the only way. | |
| What I can understand is that America has opened its borders and allowed millions of undocumented people. | |
| That's right. | |
| How can we do that? | |
| Chinese, there are tens of thousands of in China. | |
| You can't move out of your street without them. | |
| In China, you have got a card and an identity, and they can stop you. | |
| If you are not acting socially correct according to them, they can stop you going on a train. | |
| They can stop you eating food. | |
| They can stop you. | |
| When COVID was, they were welding the doors and the gates shut of people's homes to keep them in the house. | |
| You don't go away from China without the Chinese knowing it. | |
| And tens of thousands of them have shown up and are in our country. | |
| Tens of thousands. | |
| Military-aged male. | |
| Military age men. | |
| There's only one reason. | |
| They're not here to work in a Chinese restaurant. | |
| That's right. | |
| They're here to do something. | |
| All of the terrorism that is in this country just now, and they don't know where they are. | |
| And what's going to happen, I promise you, as we are speaking here right now, they are planning a coordinated attack that will happen in New York, in Chicago, in Los Angeles, in Miami, in Dallas. | |
| In some sunny morning, at 10 o'clock in the morning or something, all of a sudden, an unmitigated explosion will take place where tens of thousands of Americans are going to die. | |
| 9-11's gonna be small potatoes, I'm telling you. | |
| And our government has done this by, listen, this isn't bad policy. | |
| By design. | |
| This is intentional policy. | |
| This is what Biden promised us. | |
| He sent a call, come on in. | |
| Welcome to America. | |
| And to our utter amazement, guess what they did? | |
| They came. | |
| They came on in. | |
| Answer the call. | |
| Now, what blows my mind is: if you're in Moldova and you want to come to America and you apply for a visa, it costs you a month's wages. | |
| And then nine times out of ten are going to say no, come back again. | |
| And you ask again. | |
| They're going to have the luxury of just walking across the Rio Grande Valley. | |
| They're going to travel around the world to get here. | |
| So someone coming from China or someone coming from Saudi Arabia or Iran coming in the border here and walking across the border and are one of millions of getaways. | |
| They know where they all are. | |
| They each know where they all are all over the country. | |
| And this nation has opened itself up to hell. | |
| Hell is on its way. | |
| And it's going to accelerate in the next few weeks. | |
| Up until November, write this down. | |
| Up until November. | |
| You are going to see stuff that you wouldn't believe in a horror show take place in America. | |
| Before the CIA director is sitting before Congress saying we are scared out of our brains about what's happening. | |
| They should have thought about that four years ago. | |
| They should have been thinking about that then. | |
| But they don't think ahead of themselves. | |
| COVID has killed millions of Americans. | |
| Absolutely. | |
| Millions. | |
| Yes. | |
| Vietnam, 58,000 men died in Vietnam. | |
| COVID killed millions. | |
| And we don't have any accountability for the Chinese. | |
| They started it. | |
| That covers it up. | |
| Hides it. | |
| Absolutely. | |
| And what blows my mind is, I don't know if this slipped past you, but it didn't slip past the Scotsman that he is, is it 67,000 new IRS agents? | |
| 80,000. | |
| Do you know why? | |
| Is it 87,000? | |
| Do you know why they have all these new agents? | |
| Because they need more money to fund this nonsense. | |
| And they're going to be coming knocking at your door. | |
| Oh, don't worry. | |
| We're not going to raise your taxes. | |
| If you're making less than $400,000 a year, you've got nothing to fear. | |
| Tell that to whoever you want to tell it. | |
| They are desperate for money, desperate to keep this campaign of destruction in America. | |
| They'll kill our babies. | |
| They don't care. | |
| These guys are coming in, will kill Americans. | |
| You've heard Bill Gates talking about population control. | |
| Man, you're the problem. | |
| You don't understand, you silly people. | |
| Especially if you're a Christian. | |
| If you're a Walmart-buying, gun-toting, God-believing Christian, you, according to Obama, you're the problem. | |
| That's right. | |
| They don't see Hezbollah as the problem. | |
| You're the problem. | |
| What you believe is wrong. | |
| You believe in God and you stand for the gospel. | |
| You're the problem to America. | |
| That's right. | |
| And if he can shut you up and make you sit down in the corner, then they've got you exactly where you are. | |
| Well, I'm here to tell you, I am not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ, for it is still the power of God unto salvation. | |
| And our mandate, listen, our mandate is that we must proclaim this. | |
| Shout it from the rooftops. | |
| And how you do that is by a television signal. | |
| We don't go to church anymore. | |
| Numbers are collapsing. | |
| How many folk go to church? | |
| Because we learned we can stay in our pajamas and watch five minutes of church and tell the preacher when you see him, I watch every Sunday morning. | |
| No, five minutes you watch him every Sunday morning. | |
| I forget who it was, but was it Nixon or was it Churchill that said a time for choosing? | |
| There was a speech called, or was it Reagan? | |
| May have been a time, a time for choosing. | |
| America is at the ultimate crossroads. | |
| I'm Scottish. | |
| I'm part of the United Kingdom. | |
| It used to be known as Great Britain. | |
| Great Britain was an empire. | |
| India, most of Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Canada. | |
| When I was a boy growing up in school, there were big maps in our classroom. | |
| And the teacher would say to us, Everything you see in pink is the British Empire. | |
| The sun never sets on the British Empire. | |
| We were bigger in our day than America has ever dreamed of being in your day. | |
| We pillaged the whole world. | |
| It's true. | |
| Yes, we did. | |
| But America has an arrogance that thinks that we can turn our back on God and then we're going to back the truck up and run over again and say, Well, let's diss Israel for a while. | |
| Let's make Israel the whipping boy in this whole thing. | |
| And I'm telling you now, Joe Biden, listen to me. | |
| You touch Israel and you are poking God in the eye. | |
| And when God arises, his enemies are scattered. | |
| And he doesn't care if you're the president of the United States or if you're from Iran. | |
| When God arises, if you're his enemy, you are about to get shredded under the hand of God. | |
| And the problem we're facing, guys, is we're going to get shredded too. | |
| Yeah. | |
| And unless the church was that old hymn, stand up, stand up for Jesus, ye soldiers of the cross, live high, its royal standard. | |
| It must not suffer loss. | |
| So you can count me in. | |
| I'm one of you guys. | |
| I'm not one of them. | |
| I'm one of you. | |
| I believe in what you preach. | |
| I believe in what this ministry stands for. | |
| And I believe there are lots of folk watching me just now. | |
| And I'm getting your Holy Ghost blood stirred right this minute. | |
| You're just feeling a wee spell coming on right now. | |
| There's a righteous indignation rising up. | |
| Well, get it rising. | |
| Get it up in your spirit and say, Devil, watch what I'm going to do in my world. | |
| I may not be able to go to DC, but I'm going to change Cleveland, Ohio. | |
| And I'm going to change whatever you are in Ocala, Florida, because if there's enough of us, let me tell you what they're scared of. | |
| They're terrified that we all get together. | |
| That's right. | |
| If they can keep us all chipped, chopped up in our little piece. | |
| And what this does. | |
| Brings us together. | |
| Folk are sitting watching us in Africa and watching us in Canada and in the Caribbean, all over the world, because they can't stop this signal. | |
| And that's why what you do to help us do what we're doing is beyond importance. | |
| Amen. | |
| They will try to stop it. | |
| They are. | |
| And they're trying. | |
| Yes, they are. | |
| And they took millions of dollars from this ministry. | |
| Yeah. | |
| It was evil what they did to me. | |
| Can I say something? | |
| I'm a board member on this board. | |
| I watched the anguish this whole thing caused. | |
| It was demonic. | |
| Totally. | |
| This country is so connected and so controlled by the big boys. | |
| You see your Visa card in your wallet? | |
| Yes. | |
| They can shut that down in a second. | |
| That's right. | |
| They can make you go to the grocery store and buy your groceries. | |
| And someone somewhere that makes a decision that you don't get your money. | |
| It's not your money anymore. | |
| It's their money. | |
| They are desperate to get cash out of America. | |
| Because if they can get cash out of America, you won't buy a gallon of gas. | |
| You won't buy a gallon of milk. | |
| You won't pay your electricity bills. | |
| They will starve you. | |
| Talk of the mark of the beast. | |
| It's already here. | |
| It's in your pocket. | |
| It's called MasterCard and Visa. | |
| And this ministry, they kept our money, kept the money that had been committed to us, given by you guys, and caused him to go back to write a check and send it in the mail. | |
| That's the control. | |
| And let me tell you, they want that control over every COVID was only a practice. | |
| Right. | |
| COVID wasn't the big deal. | |
| The big one's coming. | |
| It is. | |
| I believe in the government on their shelves. | |
| They've got plans. | |
| And when COVID popped up, they thought, ooh, we can use that plan and see how this will work at control. | |
| So what they did is they said, you're not going to go to church. | |
| Yes, sir, we won't go to church. | |
| You're going to wear stupid masks that don't work. | |
| Yes, sir. | |
| We'll wear masks that don't work. | |
| You can't put your kids in school. | |
| Yes, sir. | |
| We won't put our kids in school. | |
| So what we've done is we've a whole generation of kids that are deficient. | |
| Yes, they are. | |
| Because of a social experiment that Fauci decided to have. | |
| That's right. | |
| And the church sat down. | |
| I used to go to Walmart. | |
| Isn't the place full of folks? | |
| And I'm thinking, how come they get me? | |
| Everyone get me in Walmart. | |
| We can't go to church anymore. | |
| Right. | |
| Because it's the church they want to keep quiet. | |
| It's this guy they want to shut up. | |
| If they can stop Jim Baker talking about the end times and the church getting ready, man, that's all that they want to do. | |
| And the only answer is you sitting in your room at home saying, I'm going to support that guy. | |
| I'm going to believe God for a miracle. | |
| I'm going to give. | |
| I'm going to be a faithful monthly partner of this ministry. | |
| And when you do that, they can't stop that. | |
|
Alan Dirchwich's Trial
00:05:40
|
|
| They can't stop that. | |
| That's right. | |
| Will you stop? | |
| You get me all worked up. | |
| I'm sitting. | |
| I promised myself, I said, I'm not going to say one more thing in the next program. | |
| And here I am. | |
| You get me all in a frazzle. | |
| You. | |
| Okay. | |
| This is your fault. | |
| Cross your arms now, Philip. | |
| Your body language. | |
| What they're doing to Trump. | |
| Here you go again. | |
| Poke me again. | |
| Oh, yeah. | |
| It's what they did to me. | |
| Exactly. | |
| Exactly. | |
| That's why Jim understands this whole Trump thing. | |
| This is what he says all the time. | |
| Laurie. | |
| You might write one last book and tell the whole thing. | |
| That's true. | |
| You need to. | |
| But they took from me and my people, the partners, suffered because of it. | |
| Yes. | |
| They closed and they took over Heritage, USA. | |
| I was there the morning after it happened. | |
| I know. | |
| They put me out on Main Street with a camera and a microphone to talk to people. | |
| And I'm standing on Main Street with a camera and people standing there having being told all this garbage. | |
| I'm going to tell this story and then I'll let you all talk. | |
| When I was released from prison, and I thank God for Alan Dirchowitches. | |
| And that's a story that needs to be told as well. | |
| I was lied to by a preacher. | |
| I'm not saying who, but it's a major preacher who was. | |
| And he said, well, you just resigned Jim for a month. | |
| And we'll save it for you. | |
| And you can come back. | |
| I'll say his name. | |
| No, you don't need to. | |
| I was there. | |
| I was sitting in a car in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with Robert O. and a pastor driving in the front seat. | |
| And he had the radio on. | |
| And it says the news has just come in that Jim Baker has been sentenced. | |
| For 45 years. | |
| 45 years. | |
| I would still be in prison. | |
| I leant forward. | |
| I would have died in prison. | |
| I put my head on the seat in front of me and I sobbed and sobbed and sobbed. | |
| But the government seized PTL. | |
| Yes, they did. | |
| The real story has never been told. | |
| No. | |
| You're talking to the choir who took a billion dollars of buildings and land. | |
| And that was back in the 1980s. | |
| That would have been worth billions and billions and billions and billions now. | |
| And there was a second trial when I got out of prison. | |
| They had another trial and I won it. | |
| The jury voted 100% in my favor. | |
| Nobody's heard this. | |
| No. | |
| Most folks. | |
| But the reason they changed their mind was the IRS had taken the tapes of my show and edited them and made me lie. | |
| Yeah, on video. | |
| On video. | |
| Because nobody knew why I went to prison. | |
| You didn't even know for a few years. | |
| Well, you've just watched this sham trial in New York City. | |
| Oh, yeah. | |
| It's exactly the same. | |
| That's what they're doing to Trump. | |
| What they did to me, they're doing to Trump. | |
| I was talking the other day. | |
| Someone, folks are always interested in my relationship with Jim. | |
| What's he really like? | |
| What's Jim really like? | |
| I said, he's the meanest person you've ever met. | |
| We're all scared to death of him. | |
| It's terrifying. | |
| No, it's not true. | |
| But a pastor comes and says, you know, what really happened? | |
| I said, you want to know what really happened? | |
| So I told him about Alan Dirchwich. | |
| He says, I've never heard that. | |
| He was found innocent. | |
| You see the Alan Dirchwich on TV all the time? | |
| Yes. | |
| He took up Jim Baker's case. | |
| He did. | |
| And they threw it out. | |
| But the menu. | |
| And they threw the judge out. | |
| Maximum Bob Potter. | |
| That's right. | |
| What I'm saying is that people don't know that. | |
| People still think about it. | |
| It's not 25 years since. | |
| Yeah, for nothing. | |
| And I've never told this on TV, but I did have an affair with a girl. | |
| I didn't know her. | |
| I spent 10 minutes with her, and I did it because my wife then, not Lori, my ex-wife, forgive me, but she was fooling around with all kinds of guys, and I did everything to win her back. | |
| I know. | |
| And so I said, well, I'll make her jealous. | |
| And I don't know this girl. | |
| It was a 10-minute thing. | |
|
A Horrible Time
00:04:30
|
|
| She came, she made love to me. | |
| I mean, she attacked me. | |
| I mean, I was so nervous I couldn't even perform. | |
| And so she. | |
| She preachers set it up for you. | |
| Yeah. | |
| The story is awful. | |
| It is awful. | |
| 10 minutes. | |
| Oh, the devil hates us, doesn't he? | |
| 10 minutes that I did a stupid thing that I wanted to make my wife jealous stay with me. | |
| Yeah. | |
| And I was a broken man. | |
| My wife told me, I never loved you. | |
| Wow. | |
| And it was just a horrible time. | |
| And I did a horrible thing. | |
| 10 minutes. | |
| A lifestyle for 10 minutes. | |
| And they took a billion dollars worth of ministry. | |
| And that's what it's worth in the world. | |
| And 3,000 employees. | |
| We had the largest ministry that went out to all the world. | |
| It was just huge. | |
| What folk have got to understand? | |
| They hate us. | |
| Yes. | |
| You know what? | |
| They hate this. | |
| They hate this man. | |
| They hate me. | |
| They hate me more than they hate anybody. | |
| Well, they hate the fact that he bounced back. | |
| And they didn't think you'll ever come back. | |
| But you see you're here by the grace of the children. | |
| Amen. | |
| There's something that you don't know. | |
| And I'm not bragging or complaining. | |
| I helped elect Donald Reagan, Ronald Reagan. | |
| Yes, you did. | |
| I know. | |
| And I took all the famous preachers to the house, to his house. | |
| I've been in his office many, many times in the White House. | |
| He became a very close friend of mine. | |
| Wow. | |
| And they were afraid I was going to do it again with the Democrats somehow or do it with the, get the Republicans in in place of the Democrats. | |
| And when Pat Robinson ran for president, Pat came to me to ask for my support, and I, of course, gave it to him. | |
| And Pat would have made a good president. | |
| He would have, yeah. | |
| But he won the first primaries. | |
| But they were afraid I would do it again and have power with politicians. | |
| And that says a story. | |
| I never want to talk about it, but I feel like the people need to know. | |
| I think what you're saying just now And what they did to Trump is evil. | |
| Exactly the same thing. | |
| It's the same playbook. | |
| Yeah, it is the same playbook. | |
| It's the same playbook. | |
| They took a dossier. | |
| Listen to this. | |
| Hillary Clinton paid for a dossier, a fake, totally made up, fake thing. | |
| Exactly. | |
| About Russian hookers, because they know that sex part will titillate you all. | |
| So the Russian hookers that were urinating on him in Russia. | |
| And so what they do is they took that and they put it all together. | |
| Then they release it to the press. | |
| And the press that are their slaves report it. | |
| Then the government investigates the reporting of this totally fallacious thing. | |
| Totally, absolutely made up. | |
| Why is the press? | |
| Why is the press so against the church? | |
| So against God's people. | |
| My dad used to say this to me. | |
| It's not noise they hate. | |
| It's our kind of noise that they hate. | |
| They hate our. | |
|
Admitting Glory to God
00:04:07
|
|
| See, when we give God the glory, see when you lift your hands up and worship Jesus, you are absolutely reminding the devil that he made an open show of principalities and powers, and he conquered over him with them with his blood. | |
| And when we are worshiping and giving and reaching, you are hell's terrorist. | |
| You are like a terrorist to the devil because he doesn't know how to handle you. | |
| He doesn't know where you're going to show up next. | |
| He doesn't know what's going to come out of his spirit and the words and the rhemas that come out of his mouth. | |
| And the devil's saying, God, oh my God, he's back. | |
| Oh, my God. | |
| He's back on TV. | |
| Oh, no. | |
| He's looking better than we thought he was going to look. | |
| And all he needs is us to get behind him and say, come on, Jim. | |
| See, I want to go to heaven. | |
| I want to go to heaven so bad. | |
| I pray every day to go to heaven. | |
| And God says, I'm not sending you yet. | |
| I'm not taking you home. | |
| And so I'm here. | |
| Because we're praying, God, don't you dare take it. | |
| I'm back on television. | |
| And there's more of us praying that you're just one little guy. | |
| Look at all of us. | |
| Stop it. | |
| You don't have a chance. | |
| Well, and the thing is, it's what I told Jim through at the beginning of all this with all his strokes and everything that he's walking through still. | |
| Is I said, Jim, you can go ahead and go home, honey. | |
| You can go ahead and go. | |
| It's okay. | |
| Somehow, I'm not sure how we'll walk through it as a family and a staff and everything, but if you want to go ahead and go home, you can't accept you have to finish your assignment that God has given you on this earth. | |
| You have to finish. | |
| And you haven't finished your assignment yet. | |
| And he's not. | |
| I believe you have. | |
| I used to just say one last great push in you, Jim, but I believe you have a marathon of great pushes to come. | |
| That's that's new hope inside of me that's just rose up after six months of 24-7. | |
| Yes. | |
| The wisdom that he, the experience, this is a national treasure. | |
| And yeah, there's a guy. | |
| He was there when the 700, you know, the 700 club got the name that Jim Baker gave it. | |
| Do you know that the 700 club is Jim Baker's naming that program? | |
| Then he went to TBN and started TBN with Paul and John Crouch. | |
| Then he came to Charlotte, and that's when I met him for the second time in this furniture store and this young guy. | |
| And he's sitting there and we're going to reach the world and I'm thinking, who is this guy? | |
| And I didn't even know my name back then. | |
| I'm not bitter about that, but that's beside the point. | |
| But the wisdom that God's put through him just to sit here and talk to us. | |
| I don't want you to speak at 100 miles an hour and be eloquent. | |
| I just want you to tell us what God's showing us. | |
| God is speaking to the church. | |
| God is speaking to me so much. | |
| Millions died in America of COVID. | |
| It didn't need to deny. | |
| It was a manufactured. | |
| Now they're admitting it. | |
| Now they're admitting that, but it wasn't at the beginning. | |
| If we don't have a change of leadership in America, we're doomed. | |
| Absolutely. | |
| America is going to hell in a handbasket. | |
| This is not the America I grew up in. | |
| We've got to come back to God. | |
| Everybody's got, the church has got to come back to God. | |
| I agree. | |
| I agree. | |
| And he will forgive you of all your sins. | |
|
The Lowest Moments Exploited
00:03:05
|
|
| And I have sinned. | |
| All have sinned. | |
| We all have sinned. | |
| That's what the Bible says. | |
| You're short of the glory of God. | |
| Everybody out there is sinned. | |
| That's what the Bible says. | |
| But whosoever call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. | |
| That's the word of God. | |
| Wow. | |
| And I'm telling you, his word is truth. | |
| That's right. | |
| Absolutely. | |
| And what they do is they get your lowest moment that should never be put on television, should never be put to the newspapers. | |
| But they do it to destroy people. | |
| That's what they're doing with Trump right now. | |
| They're taking a lowest moment in his life and they're making him the most evil man in the world. | |
| And now what they're going to campaign on is the fact that he's been tried and found guilty. | |
| 34 felonies. | |
| And not one of them are real. | |
| It's nuts. | |
| If you look at it with a clear mind, it is absolute insanity. | |
| It is insane. | |
| But there's two sides in this country. | |
| And millions are on the side of the devil. | |
| And the stuff that's happening in America, opening the borders to unvended people. | |
| It's insane. | |
| They're committing crimes every single day almost in this country. | |
| I heard someone the other day say, all they're doing just now is getting comfortable in America. | |
| Wait until they start feeling and they know their way around. | |
| I heard somebody say that the other day, too. | |
| They're just all getting comfortable right now. | |
| And it's going to happen in a minute. | |
| It's like me sending you to Chile. | |
| You're right, right. | |
| And at first you'd be saying, well, the grocery store's down there, and I can buy gas up here, and that's what I'll go. | |
| And so it takes you several months, and then once you get in line, you think, well, I'm going to rob this guy and see what happens. | |
| You rob the guy, you get his money. | |
| I'm okay. | |
| Okay, then. | |
| And then it starts. | |
| And then the guys get together and they call each other. | |
| Hey, I'm here and I'm there. | |
| And I'll tell you now, my mom used to say, you sow to the wind, but you reap to the whirlwind. | |
| And there's a whirlwind coming in this country. | |
| And you are going to be on one of two sides of an argument. | |
| There's no sitting on the fence in this. | |
| There's no lukewarm. | |
|
Word of God Matters
00:10:29
|
|
| You can't sit down. | |
| Listen, bring me up. | |
| I preached to Ricky yesterday. | |
| I said, listen, you can't be lukewarm. | |
| No, apparently not. | |
| I was saying, because he's not. | |
| Oh, man, he's so grounded in God. | |
| But I'm going to tell you what, you can't be lukewarm. | |
| You can't believe in abortion. | |
| You can't believe in homosexuality. | |
| You know why? | |
| It's what the Word of God says. | |
| It's what the Word of God says. | |
| Either you believe this or you don't. | |
| We lost our right to an opinion whenever we came into the fullness of who God wants us to be. | |
| It's the Word of God that we stand. | |
| There you go. | |
| Very profound. | |
| And unless folk understand this, like never before. | |
| When H.W. Bush was running for president, and you know, well, yeah, he's a good guy, and it doesn't matter. | |
| We have come, we have evolved as a society to a point that this is now blood and guts stuff. | |
| It is. | |
| They're not kidding. | |
| Listen, they ain't joking with you. | |
| They're not. | |
| This isn't, well, once we win the election, it'll be all right. | |
| We'll come to some kind of middle ground and we'll work something out. | |
| There ain't no working stuff out. | |
| But I hear them talk about, can't we all get on? | |
| No, we can't get on. | |
| I don't want to get on with you. | |
| I don't want to agree with what you're agreeing to. | |
| There's no settlement in the middle somewhere. | |
| What do you mean, half kill a baby? | |
| Or cut killing babies down by half? | |
| That's it. | |
| Or with marriage, or it's just, it's insane. | |
| Transgender. | |
| It's insanity. | |
| We have boys wearing girls' swimsuits that are made specifically to accommodate their genitalia. | |
| Exactly. | |
| And they are swimming with our girls and showering in the same locker room as our girls. | |
| And your government thinks it's fine. | |
| Not in my granddaughter's shower, you won't. | |
| Not in our children. | |
| Not our children. | |
| You know, Bishop, you said it best. | |
| Pull them out of school. | |
| Pull them out fast. | |
| The church is what sets the temperature for the country, but the issue is we have so many unpastored pastors leading congregations right now. | |
| Yes, if there ever was a time for the church, this is the hour of the church. | |
| It's not coming. | |
| It's right now. | |
| And if the church don't stand up now, then we're going to reap together in unity. | |
| Unity is the message for the body of Christ. | |
| That's right. | |
| It's unified. | |
| When you look at the early church, they were all on one accord. | |
| They went from house to house, breaking the bread, fellowship and communion daily. | |
| And they laid their gifts at the apostles' feet. | |
| And guess what? | |
| Every need was met. | |
| Where there's unification, it ends with multiplication. | |
| That's right. | |
| And wherever there's unity, if you unify the body of Christ, every need will be met in that church and in that ministry. | |
| But right now, we're in a time now where we've got young leaders coming forth, and thank God we need them because there's a handing over of the baton. | |
| But at the same time, you know, everybody said, this is Joshua's generation. | |
| And it is. | |
| But you better pray that Moses live a long time. | |
| That's it. | |
| Don't get rid of Moses because we need Moses right now. | |
| And so, but there's a danger of unpastored pastors because there's a showmanship today. | |
| But we don't have the covering, the honor of spiritual fathers, valued voices that we need to hear. | |
| We have to have that spiritual covering. | |
| We just released the book. | |
| Actually, today it is coming out on the press today. | |
| Praise God. | |
| I love Bishop. | |
| Bishop Adrian Rogers and myself, you know, co-writing together, and it's going to be a blessing to the body of Christ, but it's a need to get in the hands of our younger pastors. | |
| We have to. | |
| And I'm very, very excited about that. | |
| That's right. | |
| As long as the young guys held up Moses' arms. | |
| There you go. | |
| They prevailed. | |
| Praise God. | |
| The moment his arms came down, they started losing. | |
| Our job is to lift up the arms of those that God has given us, the gifts. | |
| There you go. | |
| The biggest, the saddest thing in my life is the memories that I have of miraculous moments that we didn't understand how miraculous they were until we couldn't relive them. | |
| The hours I spent with my dad. | |
| Hours and hours. | |
| Him preaching to me and laying stuff into me. | |
| I was driving an old Winnebago motorhome. | |
| And the hours, and I didn't realize that they were some of the marvelous moments of my life. | |
| And I'd give everything I got to go back for five minutes in the Winnebago, and you can't. | |
| So let's take what we have and value and cherish what we have now. | |
| And we'll increase its value by appreciation. | |
| Amen. | |
| We need to support the voice of the prophet and the points of the prophets. | |
| And the thing I love about Pastor Jim Baker, Dad, you have given the platform to the prophet, known and unknown. | |
| We've had so many times where we have a man sit in that guest seat and people say, I've never heard of him before, but he has a word from the Lord. | |
| We've had people sit there and say, well, he's very well known, but he has a word from the Lord. | |
| Pastor Jim Baker is no respecter of person. | |
| If they have a word from God, they bring it. | |
| And that's why he birthed this network in the middle of a crisis because he said, you know what? | |
| We need the voice of the prophet if the end times are truly where we're living in. | |
| And we believe that we're living in the last days. | |
| Absolutely. | |
| Bishop, we've been talking about the network, but we actively do missions. | |
| We have a Christmas for the community. | |
| And outreach. | |
| For people that don't have money to buy it, they come. | |
| They have a mission. | |
| They shop with us. | |
| That's right. | |
| And they come by the hundreds. | |
| Amen. | |
| How many people do you think we fed the food that you are as a way of doing? | |
| Hundreds of thousands. | |
| That's right. | |
| Hundreds of thousands. | |
| And what a lot of people don't know, Morningside has rebuilt cities that was flooded underwater and have the pictures and the trucks that you sent drywall and furniture. | |
| We rebuilt one city. | |
| And that pastor and the mayor of the city awarded you at our church the key to the city. | |
| That's right. | |
| So, I mean, not only have people sown into this ministry, this ministry have sown into so many other ministries. | |
| And as you alluded to, you've created a spot for the voice of the prophets. | |
| When you said that, I thought about the Shudamite woman. | |
| You know, she said to her husband, let's build a house for the prophet of God. | |
| For as often as he comes by, he can turn in. | |
| She really made room for the presence of God and the prophetic voice. | |
| This is what Morningside is all about. | |
| You're bringing prophets from all over the world, and because you made room. | |
| But when you make room for the prophet of God, God will always make room for you. | |
| You know what the prophet said? | |
| Go ask Gehazi, go ask that woman. | |
| What does she want? | |
| She's always wanted a child, but she said, my husband is old. | |
| He says, well, you know, about this time next year, you're going to have a child. | |
| You know what she said? | |
| Like we need to say to a lot of these false prophets today. | |
| Don't lie to me, man to God. | |
| If God said it, then I believe it. | |
| And guess what? | |
| But because she made room for the prophetic voice, and this is what morningside is all about. | |
| When you sow a seed into this ministry, you're making room for the voice of the prophet to declare the word of the Lord. | |
| Praise God. | |
| And this ministry really is founded on last days. | |
| We are a last day's ministry. | |
| We are today. | |
| Yes. | |
| Jim. | |
| From the moment I met Jim, literally, we met and married in seven weeks, 26 years ago. | |
| But it wouldn't last. | |
| And they did say it wouldn't last. | |
| They all said it wouldn't last. | |
| And I finally, they don't call me the second wife anymore. | |
| Finally, it finally stopped. | |
| It finally stopped. | |
| I knew Jim Baker's first wife. | |
| I love Tammy Baker. | |
| She was an amazing woman. | |
| With an amazing gift. | |
| I know this woman as well. | |
| That's the most amazing woman you'll ever meet. | |
| She adopted. | |
| Listen, she didn't only adopt Jim Baker's kids, these kids, she adopted Jim Baker. | |
| And then guys like me showed up and said, hi, I'm Jim's friend. | |
| Welcome in. | |
| And she just has accepted all these folk that knew him before all of this, before this happened. | |
| And you can judge someone's graciousness and their heart by how they accept strangers. | |
| And so there you go. | |
| I want to say two. | |
| Lori has taken care of me the last six months. | |
| It's an honor. | |
| I'm honored, actually. | |
| And she's just turned her house into a rehabilitation center, really. | |
| And she's doing a good job. | |
| Boy, she's doing a good job. | |
| And it's been stressful at times because I'm old and feeble. | |
| And Jim Baker, I'd rather have you. | |
| I fall down easily. | |
| I'd rather have Jim Baker old and feeble than most 35-year-old preachers I hear. | |
| Trust me. | |
| You're a better man than the 35-year-olds I hear. | |
| So don't even come that with me. | |
| You are a gift, a cherished gift from God. | |
| Can I talk for a second about women? | |
| This morning I was praying about what I would share with you on the program. | |
| And the Lord spoke in the wee hours of the morning. | |
|
Certain Women's Ministry
00:15:41
|
|
| And I was up Googling and trying to figure out what his word meant. | |
| Do you know that women are the backbone of the church? | |
| I'm sure Bishop will tell you. | |
| Absolutely. | |
| When it comes to cleaning the church and opening the church and vacation Bible school, my wife, Chrissy, works all day in our warehouse helping kids in Moldova. | |
| And then I'll say, where are you going? | |
| I'm going to church. | |
| What for? | |
| Oh, it's vacation Bible school. | |
| We're having this doing. | |
| And she creates all these crazy things. | |
| And our place is full of all. | |
| And I'll say, what's that for? | |
| Oh, that's for vacation Bible school. | |
| And so I want to talk to you for a minute about the power of woman in support of the ministry. | |
| In Luke 8, there's a very interesting scripture. | |
| And if you look at the top of it in my iPad, what does that say there, Bishop? | |
| Certain woman. | |
| Did you know that Jesus had a ministry that was supported by certain women? | |
| He did. | |
| Did you know that? | |
| Yes. | |
| Did you know that there was a group of women that traveled with Jesus? | |
| It wasn't just 12 disciples. | |
| No. | |
| They reckoned there was an equal amount of woman that traveled with them. | |
| You imagine this entourage that traveled, accommodating every night, traveling all day, speaking, eating, washing clothes. | |
| He had a whole group of women that traveled. | |
| Listen to this. | |
| And it came to pass. | |
| This is Luke chapter 8, verse 1. | |
| And it came to pass afterward that he went throughout every city and village preaching and showing glad tidings of the kingdom of God. | |
| And the 12 were with him and certain woman. | |
| I believe I'm looking at a whole bunch of certain women today that God's going to speak to you to be a part of a ministry that will undergird and support it. | |
| Listen to this. | |
| It says these certain women had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities. | |
| They reckoned that the woman with the issue of blood was one of the women that traveled in this group. | |
| You see, when you've had an issue and Jesus has healed your issue, There ain't nowhere else to go in the world except I'm going to follow that man. | |
| Going back to your house will never make it, will never What's going back to my house? | |
| I want to go out. | |
| I want to wherever he goes, I'm going to go. | |
| So one of the certain women was the woman that reached, crawled on our belly. | |
| She said, if I can just touch, if I can just touch the hem of his garment. | |
| Now, her action from that moment on, if you read the next chapter in the scripture, the Bible says that wherever Jesus went, they brought their sick out on the sidewalks. | |
| So when he walked past, they could touch. | |
| She introduced a whole new way of touching Jesus. | |
| So these certain women, listen to this, and one was called Mary Magdalene. | |
| Magdalen, these folk, these girls, these women came from Galilee. | |
| And they came down and they followed Jesus down and they ended up all in Jerusalem at the week of Passion. | |
| So one of them was called Mary Magdalene, out of whom he cast seven devils. | |
| Magdalen is where they dyed cloth purple. | |
| That's why when she moved from Magdalen down to Bethany where Jesus made his base at, Jesus worked out of the base of Mary and Martha. | |
| That's how they got. | |
| And she brought, the Bible says that she came down, she was wealthy and she had an alabaster box. | |
| And one day the Pharisees were trying to trap Jesus and they were all in this room and Lazarus was there that Jesus had raised from the dead. | |
| And they wanted to kill, listen, they wanted to kill Lazarus because when people saw Lazarus, they knew that Jesus had raised him from the dead and they were believing in Jesus, so they wanted to kill Lazarus twice because they hate what we're doing. | |
| Oh my God. | |
| That's what they're doing today. | |
| That's what they're doing. | |
| They would rather kill Lazarus than have folk believe that Jesus raised them from the dead. | |
| So they're outside. | |
| They're outside the door. | |
| And Martha is allowed to go in because she's serving. | |
| That's what Martha does. | |
| So she's serving. | |
| They're all lying on the ground. | |
| They don't have seats like this. | |
| They lie on pillows and the table's low and there's candles. | |
| And outside the door, the Pharisees and the Sadducees are talking and they're saying, we're going to get him this time. | |
| We're going to get him. | |
| We're going to kill him. | |
| Because what Jesus did, he went to the temple and upset the tables. | |
| And whenever you affect the money, then someone's going to get mad enough to kill you. | |
| Write that down somewhere. | |
| It'll come back. | |
| So what happens is Mary opens the door and she has this alabaster box. | |
| And they reckon it's worth about $50,000. | |
| And she looks at Jesus and she's desperate to warn him about what they're saying outside. | |
| And she gets into the room and all the eyes look at her and she's got this box. | |
| And she looks at Jesus and she goes over and somewhere between the door and Jesus, this offering, a little bit, a wee bit, a little offering, something happens to Mary between the door and Jesus. | |
| And when she gets to Jesus, she takes the box and she breaks it. | |
| She smashes it. | |
| She gave an irretrievable gift. | |
| It can't come back. | |
| You can't put it back. | |
| And she slaps her hands in the oil. | |
| This alabaster spike nard, very expensive. | |
| And she goes and she starts rubbing his hair, and everyone goes mad. | |
| And she ends up being pushed back into the shadows, and she washes his feet and dries it with her hair. | |
| She was one of the women that followed Jesus. | |
| She was the last one at the cross. | |
| She was. | |
| And the first one at the resurrection. | |
| That's right. | |
| She was. | |
| Whenever you are one of those certain women, you're always on your way to a resurrection. | |
| Your family is going to get resurrected. | |
| Your health is going to get resurrected. | |
| God's going to do something in your life because you're going to say today, I want to be one of those certain women. | |
| Now, there's another Bible one here. | |
| It says Joanna, the wife of Chuzah, C-H-U-Z-A, Chuzah, Herod's chief steward. | |
| Chuzah was the guy that looked after Herod's money. | |
| Listen now. | |
| And Herod paid Chuzah. | |
| And Chuza gave his wife Joanna money. | |
| And Joanna would go on the road with Jesus. | |
| And take Herod's money. | |
| Herod's money. | |
| And feed Jesus. | |
| Yeah. | |
| True. | |
| The wealth of the wicked. | |
| With Herod's money. | |
| The wealth of the wicked. | |
| Is that in your Bible? | |
| Did I just read that? | |
| It's in my Bible. | |
| Amen. | |
| God's got wicked money waiting to bless you with to further the kingdom of God. | |
| God's got an answer for you. | |
| For your need. | |
| It's going to be met secondarily. | |
| Because you're going to become a Joanna of the Bible. | |
| Certain woman. | |
| If you read this story, when it comes to the crucifixion, it says the disciples were there. | |
| His mom is one of the certain women. | |
| Can you imagine traveling with your mom? | |
| Can you imagine how protective she was? | |
| And the crowd was so big that she could never get to see him. | |
| And they say, your mom wants to see him. | |
| And he says, who is my mother? | |
| Who is my mother? | |
| She was there when she says no more wine. | |
| And she made Jesus perform a miracle. | |
| So what I'm talking about today is I believe that God is anointing certain women. | |
| You've heard us talk about the end times. | |
| You've heard about America and the trouble we're in. | |
| You've heard us talk about the fact that this voice must be heard, the voice of the prophets. | |
| And I know this, if I could give Jim Baker a million dollars today, he would be in his office in five minutes buying more time on stations to reach more people with the voice of the prophets. | |
| So sitting in your home just now, God has anointed you to become one of the certain woman. | |
| He's going to make history through you. | |
| You're going to say, I'm going to start sending. | |
| You know, if everyone watching just now were to send $50 a month to this ministry, we could change the world. | |
| You want to see Jim Baker get healed and revived and restored and anointed and jumping up on this table? | |
| Giving the means to tell the world about Jesus. | |
| Because hope deferred in the Bible says makes the heart sick. | |
| There's nothing worse than wanting to do something and you can't do it because you don't have the means to do it. | |
| And if tomorrow or right now, if that phone were to begin to ring and we go to reports and they're saying, oh my goodness, there's folk calling from all over America. | |
| And they're giving monthly, Jim. | |
| They're signing up for a dollar a day or they're signing up for $100 a month. | |
| They're going to give $1,000 a month, become part of the president's club. | |
| Let me tell you something. | |
| You'd watch this man. | |
| We'd be doing three and four and five shows a day because he would suddenly be thinking, I got too much to do. | |
| I've got to get back on the wall. | |
| I've got to get building again. | |
| So, if you want to do something supernatural today, if you want to be part of a divine restoration and healing, there's a phone in your hand. | |
| You can dial the number on your screen. | |
| And you can say, tell Jim, I just want to be one of the certain women. | |
| Count me in. | |
| I'm going to start partnering with this ministry. | |
| If you want to help us with these cameras, we've got eight cameras, right? | |
| Eight? | |
| Seven. | |
| Seven. | |
| Each one of them costs about $15,000. | |
| Our ministry, we are mission work, but I know the importance of this camera. | |
| And I've made a commitment from a ministry, give $1,000 a month to provide one of the cameras. | |
| Because I want Jim Baker to be sitting here for years to come. | |
| Amen. | |
| I want to be whole and hail and hearty, as we say, reaching the world for Jesus. | |
| And I want to pray for you right now. | |
| Father, watching just now, there are certain women. | |
| Sometimes husbands don't listen, but certain women do. | |
| The certain women are the ones that are making the spices when Jesus is dead and they're up early in the morning going to the sepulchre. | |
| They realize he's not the Messiah because he's dead. | |
| They watched him die. | |
| But yet they're still there after all things have been done. | |
| They're still there. | |
| And I believe watching me just now that our women are saying, I want America to be saved. | |
| I want the voice of the prophets to go forth. | |
| I can't preach, but I can sure send. | |
| I can be one of the women that will stand and be a part of the support system for the voice to go forward. | |
| In Jesus' name, I want you to help me right now by going to your phone. | |
| 888-988-1588. | |
| Go right now. | |
| Pick up that number phone and say, I want to be a part of the certain woman. | |
| Isn't that crazy? | |
| That all came up. | |
| It's not bad for 5 o'clock in the morning. | |
| I should have got up early. | |
| I might have had more stuff to talk about. | |
| But I know that destiny has called you to sit and watch me talk to you about this right now. | |
| You've loved Jim Baker for years. | |
| You've watched him go through stuff. | |
| My gosh. | |
| Man, it's been a ticket, hasn't it? | |
| My Lord, talk about popcorn. | |
| And the end is not yet. | |
| Wouldn't it be something if this ministry was part of the next presidential election as well? | |
| Yes. | |
| Amen. | |
| That this man's voice could be heard. | |
| You can do it. | |
| And that's the thing Jim keeps saying over and over at home. | |
| Everybody has to go out and vote. | |
| Yes. | |
| Amen. | |
| And give. | |
| And give to this ministry so we can continue. | |
| Can you give if you like this book? | |
| This book is my passion this month because it's an amazing book. | |
| Just the signs you will see. | |
| It's the title, Just Before Jesus Comes Back. | |
| Boy, just at the end by Rick Renner, who is one of the greatest of all time preachers and teachers of the gospel. | |
| But just on page 172, he goes through, and I know our time's up real quick, but he just goes through the following or 17 truths that the apostle wrote regarding what was to come. | |
| So it's 2 Timothy 3. | |
| Most of us know it. | |
| If you forewarned, you better read it. | |
| 2 Timothy to know the hour of living. | |
| This now. | |
| This will open the Bible to you. | |
| It will. | |
| Just ask for the signs you will see just before Jesus comes, and we'll send it to you. | |
| Yeah, okay. | |
| Oh, so good. | |
