Kids Behind the Problems 00:10:55
Hello and welcome to the Jim Baker Family Show coming to you from the village of Morningside, USA, snuggled in the beautiful Ozark Mountains.
Today is day two with our special guest, COO of Lion Energy, Ryan Fry.
Our co-hosts today are Maricella Woodall and Mondo De La Vega.
And now, live from Gray Street at Morningside, USA, here's your host, Ricky Baker.
Hello, you're watching Jim Baker's PTL Television Network.
We have an exciting day two with Ryan Fry here in the building with us today.
Come on, brother.
How are you?
I'm well, man.
Thank you for having me.
Ryan is an eight-year veteran at Lion Energy.
He's also responsible for all the facets of the company's operation.
That includes importing, shipping, receiving, or housing operations.
I'm going to run out of breath.
You are the chief operations officer for Lion Energy.
We want to thank you for taking time to be here with us.
My pleasure.
Thank you for having us.
You know, Lion Energy and Morningside, the PTL Television Network has had such a great relationship over the years, and it's been built on trust, knowing that we can proudly send our partners to your affiliate site, to your phone number, and know that you're always going to take care of them.
Absolutely.
We absolutely will.
It's something that's very important to us.
We value the Morningside partners.
I got to apologize to you, Ryan, because a lot of partners reach out to me on Facebook or email.
And he says, we can't get anybody.
I know you're going to.
Then I get a hold of this guy.
He's a problem solver.
I said, Ryan, I got Mr. Thomas here, and I need you to help him out.
Can you take care of him?
And your answer is.
Yes, sir.
I'll run on top of that.
Every single time.
So that doesn't give you permission to keep reaching out to me to get to right.
No, I'm kidding.
We're here to serve you.
We're here to take care of every need.
And thank you for getting a hold of me because I know your systems out there are, you know, the call center.
You guys are taking a lot of calls.
There's always problem solving.
Correct it is.
Answering questions.
So thank you for reaching out to me on behalf because our duty is to take care of you and to serve you and love you.
It's our pleasure.
Thanks for giving me the opportunity.
So you're saying you have your own calls.
You don't outsource your call center.
Absolutely not.
No, we're all U.S. based right in Utah.
I know every one of them.
We've got a great team.
We've got a great team on staff.
Yeah.
You know, we spoke on the last show about Frank Davis, a true friend to the PTL television network, a true friend to pastor Jim and Lori Baker and ourselves as well.
I can remember being 14, 15, 16 years old, going to a sports complex here in Branson and playing basketball with him because he was such a great basketball player.
I never won, but I got to play basketball with him.
Sounds like Frank.
Yeah, yeah.
He was always saying after the show, he's, hey, where are we going to go eat and when are we going to go play basketball?
He would always show me how to play because I was never very good.
But a true friend to the PTL television network, but truly a friend to you as well.
I know that he helped pioneer this industry, but you're carrying that legacy on.
What does that mean to you?
It's an honor.
You know, before Frank got real sick and, you know, he sat me down and talked to me and he said, Morningside is very important.
It's very dear to me, right?
And I'm handing that to you.
I know they're in good hands.
He told me that, and that meant the world to me.
And, you know, we have to be creative and come up with different solutions as not only industry evolves, but the needs of our partners, just the needs of all of us, right?
I mean, we're all in the same boat, right?
We're all consumers of the products, including myself.
I use all of Lion Energy's products.
So we have to work together to make sure that one, we're understanding the needs of the partner.
We're understanding the needs of ourselves.
And then we have to make sure that our products are meeting those needs.
You know what the difference between Lion Energy and any other company out there is that you guys allowed us to bring our cameras behind the scenes.
That's right.
Where you guys are putting these units together.
Pastor Jim, your friend or father said, Frank, I want to take my cameras out there.
I want to show my partners, my viewers, what goes on behind the scenes as I'm talking.
You're going to see some of the behind the scene footage of Pastor Jim and Lori touring the Lion Energy facility.
And I want to tell you something.
This people do everything with class.
They want to make sure that this products are tested.
Matter of fact, the very first area that Frank Davis took us on was the area where when you order the Safari Energy or you order any of the products, the fuel is generator, they test them right there.
And I want to tell you something.
They do very detailed work.
And by the way, I was made an official Lion Energy executive line worker like Frank Davis by wearing a vest.
You knew you were the vest when you're an executive line production.
That means I do all the work.
That's all that matters.
We call it Power Vest, right?
So good job.
But I want to tell you something.
Behind the scenes, you allowed us to come in and show what really happens.
And you guys are first class, Ricky.
I'm telling you, we got to do it again at one point and take the cameras back over there because the developments are new.
The technology is growing.
And we want to do our delivery process to you, letting you know that we are only bringing you the very best.
And that was one of the most wonderful things.
It's when we went there, Mondo, you know, Pastor Jim Baker, he'd say, hey, what's behind that door?
And Frank said, well, let's open it and let's see.
We're filming everything with cameras.
There was nothing in that facility where he's like, oh, we don't want you to see how we do that.
These machines are put together with excellence.
And that's why we support them so much.
Yeah.
And we got to, we got, we looked at it as we get to show off.
And that meant a lot to us, right?
We, we love what we do.
We're proud of what we do.
Part of our testing process is we get the units, we open them up, and then we just beat the snot out of them, right?
Our goal is if they're going to break, they break on us.
They break during our testing process.
We stop it.
We understand what happened, address it in the manufacturing process, and then make sure that doesn't happen again.
That's right.
Just over and over and over.
And that's how you get quality.
You know, I truly believe that you know Frank Davis's heart with this.
Why did Frank believe so much in preparation?
Well, so for us, you know, Frank always, Frank and I believe, right, that we are the solution to our problems, right?
And so we, it's not like these problems that we talk about that we hear or that we see other people having.
It's not like we know that it could never happen to us, right?
Because it could, right?
We are the solution to those problems and it's up to us to plan ahead, act accordingly, and be people of action.
And that's Frank Davis to me.
His legacy to me is action, right?
Well, amen.
You know, your motto is chance favors a prepared mind.
Can you tell us what that means?
Yeah.
And I think, you know, again, that we are the solution to our problems.
So what does that mean, right?
Well, that means we take action.
We make our own luck, right?
We understand that it's all about really just identifying risk and then deciding what we're okay with, right?
If the power is out, are we okay with our freezer and our refrigerator and all of our food going bad and us having to, you know, go without it?
I mean, and maybe we are.
If that's okay, then great.
If not, well, then do something about it, right?
Wait a minute.
You're going so fast.
That's so good.
If you're okay not having lights, then don't get lights.
Don't forget lights.
If you're okay not having a machine that can help you breathe when you're asleep, and if you're okay with that, then you live with that.
And if you're okay with the long-term health complications that go against that go with not using machines, not having the oxygen levels in your brain, your organs, things like that.
Well, it's powerful.
Well, it is.
For me, I'm not okay with that, right?
That is not acceptable to me.
So I take action.
I make sure that I'm not.
Listen, the last show, you're not okay for your kids to go hungry.
That's right.
Are you okay?
Yeah, she was making sure I wasn't going hungry.
I mean, listen, this is so unbelievable.
You don't want to see your kids suffer.
No, I mean, you got a bunch of little kids that are dependent on mom and uncles and friends and whatnot.
You know, what's important is the thing that I've loved, and just like mom and dad, Pastor Jim and Laurie, they did it with us.
You know, what you saw in the last, if you missed the last show, go watch it.
We had the kids out here.
They were a part of it with us.
But your preparedness journey is not just for yourself, it's for your loved ones, for your family members.
And the thing that I would encourage you to do is become familiar with your product.
That's right.
The worst thing that you could ever do, truly, I've said this.
I've seen people do it.
I've listened to people on the phone who have done it.
Is they say, well, I bought the generator, but I put it on a shelf and I never opened the box.
I never used it.
So when the lights went out, guess what?
It wasn't charged.
I didn't know how to use it.
I didn't know what I could plug into it.
I did not familiarize myself to be prepared.
And so the reason why you saw our kids, they're so comfortable with preparedness.
It's a part of their life.
They use it.
Because they use it.
Literally, we have the generator.
I do not put our generator in a closet.
I have it in our living room.
We move it around.
We take it downstairs to our bedroom area.
We let our kids use it.
We let them push all the buttons, Ryan.
It passes the times I've walked into their house and I'm sitting on the couch.
I need to charge my phone.
I just plug it into her generator.
I'm not joking.
It's actually right there.
It's so easy to accept.
The people who made a mistake like yours was Rabbi Jonathan Kahn.
Years ago, there was a horrible storm in New Jersey and he lost power.
And his wife reminded him that Pastor Jim and Laurie had gifted him with a generator and he remembered it was still in the box.
Yeah, you got to use it.
They forgot that it was there.
And I'm telling you, when you hit a moment of panic, and by the way, you need to come to Morning Sight.
Almost every Friday, seminars are taking place.
But it reminds me of Derek Parker, that Darren Parker, that he teaches about being ready.
He teaches about when there's stressful situations, the mind shuts down.
That's right.
Life happens in a matter of seconds.
And I've taken some of his classes.
And I want to tell you something.
What we watch take place, everything happens in seconds.
In seconds, you get shot.
In seconds, fires go out.
In seconds, you only have a few seconds to grab and go and be prepared.
Most people panic and the mind shuts down.
But when you're familiar with the item, you don't have nothing to worry about.
Again, I love what you just said.
I love it.
Yes.
Because if you don't mind having lights, then live in the dark.
If you don't mind having, you know, spoiled goods from your refrigerator, then that's on you.
But it doesn't have to be my family.
It's not going to be.
It doesn't have to be your story.
Yes.
Yes.
Oh, that's so good.
So that's what when I say chance favors a prepared mind, I love that.
Why We Need Power 00:03:23
I've said that for years.
And, you know, it means we do something about it.
That's right.
Amondo, you always say, you know, if you fail to prepare, you prepare to fail.
And it's absolutely vital.
It's that, you know, it's almost like the same phrase, different verbiage.
It's vital to prepare.
You know, I believe it's important that you know why you need to invest in your home.
Actually, we have a video from our friend Frank Davis.
I want you to watch this.
Human beings need energy.
We need power for light, for warmth, but also to enrich our lives.
In addition to the grid, nature provides several forms of renewable energy: wind, geothermal, hydroelectric, and the most common one, solar.
In the past century or so, humans have gotten much better at capturing energy.
The challenge has always been how to store that power for later use, when you need it and where you need it.
At Lion Energy, our mission is to help people become energy independent.
We provide a wide range of products from handheld devices and portable solar generators to lithium batteries for RVs, homes, and even large-scale commercial solutions.
No matter how you get your energy from solar, wind, water, or the grid, Lion Energy helps individuals, families, and organizations to have power where and when they need it.
And at the foundation of it all is this, the lithium iron phosphate cell.
It is the safest, most effective way of storing and using energy.
With Lion Energy's advanced technology that we call Lion S, you now have safe, renewable energy at your fingertips, and you can more efficiently control and use power anywhere and anytime you need it.
Whatever your day brings, whether a disaster hits or whether you're enjoying an outing with your family or working at the office, Lion Energy is there for you, providing power for whatever you need.
And that's what we do.
We change the world by helping you become energy independent.
That's our passion.
Welcome to the Lion family.
Welcome to the Lion Pride.
That was Frank Davis, your friend, a faithful man to the PTL Television Network and to the Jim Baker family show.
Ryan, one of the things that you say is these generators are workhorses.
Now, why do you use that phrase?
These are workhorses.
Yeah, for us, maybe it's because I'm from the West.
You know, I don't know, a bunch of cowboys out there, right?
But workhorses, I say that because these are built to last.
They're built to be tough and they're built to be tough while they're working, right?
Watts And Way Of Life 00:15:24
So day in, day out, you know, these are designed to work.
And that goes from everything to, you know, getting a little bit better bearings in our fans that provide the cooling, right?
I mean, just thinking about these.
If we want this to last, what do we need to do, right?
And we take an action and make sure that the components we're using will stand up to the test of time.
Are these generators safe to use with a medical device like a CPAP?
Now, I see you have one there, but is it safe to use?
For CPAPs, absolutely, right?
And so we've seen and we've used lots of different medical devices with these units.
Now, there are certain medical certifications and criteria, right, that we have not got for these devices.
So they aren't used in hospitals, so to speak.
But as far as like using them at home for equipment that they give you to take home, absolutely, right?
We recommend using those.
I personally use the Quest for my CPAP needs when I'm camping, and I will get multiple days on a charge on a single charge with my CPAP.
Well, let's plug this thing in.
I want to see exactly how this works.
And I have another question for you because you said you're a pretty avid camper, a pretty avid RVer as well.
If someone has an RV, is this something that you would recommend for them to have in their RV?
Absolutely.
So for me, and I'm probably not the average case, right?
I have one of the Safaris in my camper, okay?
And I've got solar panels that I take with me.
And I just plug my whole camper into the Safari and that energizes all the plugs.
Wow.
So my wife, she doesn't even realize that plugs.
Most working cameras.
Right now, she has no idea.
I walk in and she has a hot plate.
She's, you know, cooking breakfast and she's got a coffee maker going.
And I'm thinking, that's, how is she doing that with both of them at the same time?
She just must clean living, I guess, right?
Because they don't both turn on separately.
But she doesn't even realize that most campers don't do that.
But I have a quest in case we overdo it and discharge the safari with coffee makers and all the hot plates and things like that.
And this quest will get me through with my CPAP.
So you just plug this in right here, simply make sure the machine is on.
And I saw you plug this radio.
I think it's got some passive consumption, which we'll talk about later, by the way.
So now, yeah, I've got the CPAP on right here.
I just push start.
The CPAP will fire up.
All right.
And I can hear the fan going.
Maybe I can.
Oh, I can hear it.
Yeah.
I need some.
I put it right up to your mic, actually.
You can probably hear it blowing.
Yep.
So it's definitely blowing, right?
And that's it.
And I'm using 33 watts.
Okay.
So this is a 600 watt hour battery.
I'm roughly going to get.
I don't know, 18 hours, something like that, right?
So it'll definitely comfortably power this overnight while you're asleep.
I don't know anyone who sleeps 18 hours.
Not on one night, but two nights, right?
So that's two solid nights, right?
That's right.
And now there are different humidifier settings and the humidifier settings.
You know, it will change.
Obviously, there's only a certain amount of energy in the battery.
If you use more with your humidifier, then it'll run less.
But two full days is reasonable.
If you don't use your humidifier, you're going to get six or seven.
And that's not if you're also actively charging it as well.
Yes.
Two full days, not charging.
No solar panel, no additional charging at all.
Absolutely.
That's amazing.
And you're talking right here about this Lion Energy Quest.
Now, you were saying this is something that you love.
Why do you love the Lion Energy Quest?
I love the Lion Energy Quest because out of all the units we've done, a lot of people remember the original Sentinel unit that we that we had.
Yep.
Right.
That battery, that had a smaller battery than this.
In fact, it was 20% smaller than the battery that's in the Quest.
Now, maybe I shouldn't say smaller, but it had 20% less capacity, right?
Wow.
And that's what we need to focus on.
But this machine's lighter.
So how does that work?
Yeah, that's the evolution of battery technology.
That's how that works, right?
That's amazing.
20% larger, half the weight, and a fraction of the cost.
That's amazing.
You know, we are dedicated to making sure that it is affordable for you to prepare for your family.
We want you to go to the jimbaker show.com, click that shop our affiliates button.
You can see Lion Energy.
You can go and look at their entire catalog of things that you can get.
So we want you to do that, or you can call their number.
And it's not the same as the Jim Baker show number.
It's important for you to know.
This is 1385-273-1385.
And that is your team who is based in Utah.
You know these men personally.
You know these women personally.
They are answering the phone call.
It's not outsourced to another country or a third party.
That's amazing.
They use our products.
They're familiar with our products.
They know this stuff as well as anybody does.
So yeah, please, please take advantage of that resource and give us a call.
One other thing I want to mention about the Quest is the USB ports.
Okay.
So I've got, we have two of the two USB-C ports that are capable of a 60-watt output.
That means it'll charge laptops, fancy, you know, tablets.
That's right.
And, you know, Mondo, one of the things that come with us is this solar panel.
I think it's important that we see everything that comes with it.
You can go to the website and see the photos of everything that is included with this package.
Go to that affiliate site.
I'm keeping, you know, I'm trying to keep my train of thought, but Marcela, I see you flipping some over there.
I can't help it.
What are you doing over there?
That's right.
We have to.
Hey, listen, we had to do some practical things on how you can use the generator today.
And so that's what we're doing.
You know, we always talk about it.
But one of the things that is critical in a time of preparedness, when the lights go out, what is it that you need?
Depending on the weather, depending on climate, there are things that you need to be able to prepare.
But one thing that we know is for sure, you have to have a way to cook.
In those times, you have to have a way to cook different foods for you and your family.
So I decided and good old-fashioned, I'm like, listen, let's put it to the test.
I brought out our pancakes.
These are from our new affiliate site.
These are actually the organic pancake mix.
And what I love is this is up to 25-year ShallFly food.
And I'm so passionate.
I always believe I'm like, Lord, every time we bring a product out here, whatever it is that we're doing, we have to give you the full solutions.
So not only did we offer you the preparedness of the emergency food, here's now a way for you to take that emergency food, have a way to cook it.
So I'm cooking these organic pancake mix.
And what I love about this, this is on a hot stove, which typically it pulls so much power, Mondo.
And so we're going to.
And I want to show people because we're not, I'm going to show you two things.
One, this is plugged into the generator.
And if you follow it, I want a close-up of what I'm holding right here, guys.
Look at that.
And I'm going to follow it all the way up to the front.
Audience, is it up in the front?
Yes, they're saying.
Now I'm going to show you one more thing because you might be thinking, yeah, the generator is plugged into that.
But is the generator plugged into something else?
Well, I'm going to give you the reality and the truth.
The generator, it is not plugged into anything.
It is running just exclusively from this unit right now.
It is not plugged into anything.
So all the power is going into this hot plate over here.
I also want to show you a lot of people have, what is this called again?
This is a kettle.
The kettle.
So I want to show you because most people can use it to warm up water.
Hot water.
You can cook without hot water.
So these are practical appliances.
You ready for the close-up?
Because I want people to understand.
We live in Missouri.
It is the show me stay.
I want you to get, I know it's too bright over here, so you can't see the light.
Is the blue light on?
Yep, we can see it is.
And you can hear the generator kick in and you're going to start seeing the water boil.
If you can get an extreme close-up, guys, I want to see that water boiling if you can, please.
Oh, yeah.
But I want to understand one thing.
We are plugging items that are in your kitchen, items that are going to be part of your lifestyle.
These are items, Maricella, that you can start using immediately every single day.
You don't have to wait for a disaster.
You don't have to wait for emergencies.
This can be a way of life in order to understand how this machine works.
Put it into use every single day.
Again, most people wait for an emergency, a catastrophe.
No, every single, listen, if you watch your power bill, that's catastrophe.
Yes, that's emergency.
They're getting away with so much.
That's right.
You know, one thing that I absolutely love about this is that hot plate that you're seeing, we are filming multiple shows same day.
It's how we do things here, but that has been on for off and on over the course of like a four-hour time block.
We keep continuously cooking things to make sure it works.
And the battery is still holding up.
Mondo's been boiling water.
We've been running power tools.
We've microwave popcorn.
We've had the fridge running the entire time, all on this battery right here in the expansion pack.
So if you're wondering, hey, is this something that can work for me, you know, my entire home?
I want you to watch this because this is an inspirational video about the Safari running an entire cabin.
Watch this.
All right.
So I'm going to try and walk you through as many things that are actually turned on as possible here.
Actually, every single outlet in this house is currently powered on.
You can see that we do have internet, the TV, the fire stick, which is providing, you know, the stuff that's on the TV.
We also have my receiver down there for switching things around and also the amplifier for my Bose 901 speakers up in the corners.
We have lots of little gadgets in the house like this thermometer gauge here.
Lots of little lamps and all of my night lights and all that stuff is currently turned on as well.
And you can see down here, I do have my phone actually displaying the current used wattage, which is 944 watts at the moment, which means that my refrigerator compressor is working right now at about 400 watts.
You can see that the refrigerator is turned on if I wanted to get ice and then switch over to water.
Everything is working completely normally.
So you can see it does have electricity.
My entire office is connected.
DSLR camera, my three LED beauty lights, you know, and video lights and stuff.
You can see my laptop is turned on and we are connected to the internet right here.
Dual monitor setup.
It's currently running three different external hard drives.
Three external hard drives are being run off that.
And this is all sensitive equipment, which I completely trust to the pure sine wave inverter.
But as you can see, life is completely normal as far as the electricity is concerned.
And this is a lot of stuff, you guys.
This is running a lot of individual items.
And we're going to see if we push this guy over the top by using this huge LG microwave.
Here we go, the microwave is running.
The entire house is still turned on.
Let's see how much wattage we're using.
Ooh, 2,120.
Computer, turn on, turn off the outside lights.
Computer, turn off the outside lights.
There we go.
That'll get us down close.
Right on, right at 2,000 watts.
But hey, it didn't click off.
We went over 2,000 watts.
So we're pushing the full amount of power right now out of this guy, running that microwave.
And my entire house.
We have cell phones charging, computers going, refrigerators, and the microwave for a one-minute run.
So I think that's pretty darn incredible.
You know, my office, LED lights, galore.
I have two subwoofers down there.
We could pretty much do anything that we want to do.
I've even run my entire house and then did a load of dishes in the dishwasher on a cycle, which is just crazy.
And it handled all of that even when we pushed over our limit.
Now we're back down to 400 watts.
It's just incredible what this thing can actually run and run really well for a very long time.
And you can recharge it with solar by plugging it in, anything like that.
And also just to show you, this guy is unplugged from the wall.
But that wraps it up, guys.
And just to prove to you that everything is running off of this guy, now I'm going to turn it off.
So you can kind of see my whole house here.
There we go.
Now I'm gonna push the button.
There goes my entire house.
Absolutely everything except the jet pack over in the corner, which runs our Wi-Fi.
And that's because it has an internal battery.
That's it.
This is right in the middle of my living room.
We don't have to worry about noxious fumes or gas or oil or leaks or anybody else hearing it if you're in an off-grid situation and you don't want people to know you have, you know, this kind of thing.
It's a lot quieter than a generator and it's right here in the middle of my living room.
And I think that's pretty darn cool.
Can you believe that, Mondo?
A four-minute video of a man showing us that he is running his entire cabin off of this.
I want to show you something because you brought up a great point.
All at once, right?
Yes.
So right now, we got the hot plate going on.
I have the hot kettle going on.
You see it bubbling.
That's boiling.
And now I'm going to do this blender all at the same time, okay?
That's amazing.
That's three items all at once.
Yeah, I love it.
That's not including, I can add one more if I wanted to.
But it's not about how many things you have plugged in.
It's about how much total power you're using.
Say that again?
It's not about how many things you have plugged in.
It's about the total amount of power you're using.
All right.
Do you guys understand that?
That's very important because a lot of people think you have to do it one at a time.
No, listen, look at this generator.
One of the things I want to give you a secret is this is a man's best friend here.
It used to be a dog.
Listen, now is this right here?
Because I want to tell you something.
You talk about I can plug one, two, three, four, five, six different items all at once, as long as the power is distributed properly.
As long as it doesn't exceed the maximum output.
That's correct.
So I have a question for you.
Am I able to utilize the things on the front?
So we have USB-C, regular USB.
We have your standard outlet at your home.
You can see all on the front of this.
Now, am I able to output as well as charge it at the same time?
Is it one or the other?
Nope, absolutely.
In fact, we encourage you to do both during the day, especially if there's a power outage, right?
You're going to be using this to power everything.
Maybe it's a washing machine, whatever you decide to be doing.
Have solar panels that are charging that simultaneously.
So I can absolutely do that.
So if I had purchased a unit a couple of years ago and I have a different solar panel, but I recently also got a Safari with the newer solar panels.
Am I able to still daisy chain the old panels of the new panels or am I?
It's one or the other.
No, that's a great question.
Yes, you absolutely can.
The only difference between the old panel and the new panels is the size and the weight.
That's it.
They will work together seamlessly.
You can do old, new, old, new, old, new, or you could do old, old, old, new, new, new.
It's got to be aesthetic, though.
It's got to be one.
You got to look at for me, I'm whatever, right?
Seamless Battery Integration 00:03:03
But it, uh, they're the outputs and functionality and all the all the parameters are identical.
And how encouraging is that to know that our partners who have ordered before they can simply plug in their new and their old and it still works seamlessly?
That's amazing.
Right.
And I think it's important.
You know, when this was being created with Lion Energy, really, guys, think about this.
Over a decade ago, we started creating products with Frank Davis and Lion Energy.
And I think about where we are today, but one of the things that was so critical for Pastor Jim is he says, we can't just depend on one way because he knew that there would be a day that their electricity, the convenience of just plugging it into your wall socket would not be there.
And so, Ryan, can you speak to what are the different ways, of course, with the solar panel, but what are the different ways that you can charge these units?
Yeah, so the wall and the solar panel, obviously, right?
There are hand cranks for the smaller units, the quest and things like that.
Unfortunately, the hand crank will not work with the Safari, so that's good to know.
But any device that will generate DC current, so windmills, I know people that use a windmill, touch their unit.
And can you talk about too?
And I don't mean it, but I think this is good information because these are the questions that we've been asked, right?
We are sitting there in the call center, and so they're asking us questions as well.
And so what's the difference in charge time versus putting it in your outlet or whether you have the solar panel or both at the same time?
How does that affect the charging time?
So they can be identical.
The unit will prioritize the maximum charge rate, which is always from the wall.
The wall just maxes out the charge rate for the unit.
But you can duplicate that and charge it in, I think it's two to three hours, about two and a half hours is what it'll take.
Maybe two hours and 45 minutes from the wall to charge from empty to full.
And you can duplicate that with solar panels.
Two hours, 45 minutes.
Let's just double that even.
And let's just say it took four hours to charge it.
Mondo, four hours of your life to ensure that you are comfortable for days and days and days.
Listen, I got a question.
I'm going to try to stump you right here.
No, let's go.
The old knowledge of a generator that uses lithium-ion energy, right?
Battery operated.
Yep.
They used to say that if you drain the unit all the way down completely dead, you can bring it back to life again.
If this is, if I utilize all the energy that this unit gives me, does it recharge back up again?
Yes, absolutely.
So there is a concern, right?
There was where the battery would discharge below what we call the minimum voltage.
When it's below the minimum voltage, you're no longer able to charge.
However, this has built-in circuitry.
It's called a BMS or a battery management system.
That battery management system will detect that it's at the minimum voltage and it will isolate the battery and not let it discharge further at all until you charge it up.
Awesome Smart Technology Bundle 00:15:15
So that's why they're talking about smart technology.
Yes, that's part of the smart technology.
Yes, sir.
To make sure that these are standing the test of time.
They're lasting.
These are going to be something that in the time of trouble that we will not have to worry, are they going to work?
Well, let's think about it.
Just real quick, the life cycles on these batteries, the reason why it's so important that we do that, they're rated at 3,500 life cycles.
That means I can charge it all the way to zero and all the way to 100% 3,500 times, which is about 9.68 years using it every single day, just fully discharging it every single day.
Almost a decade using it every single day, which let's be honest, for the practical application right now, we're not going to be doing that.
We'll use it, charge it, make sure we have it.
But even then, a decade of power, Mondo for the price in which you're getting it.
Can you imagine that?
A decade of power.
That gives you peace of mind.
Again, the choice you make depends on the action you take.
If you take the action right now to visit the website, you can change your future.
You can change your way of life.
You can change the way you react to a problem.
Most people wait for a problem to appear, then they do the reaction.
The key is: how am I going to be proactive before the problem arrives?
That's right.
Being proactive is being ready.
Being ready means you got to pick up that phone.
You got to go to the website.
Do your research.
If you don't want to understand this, most people, and you're very smart, by the way.
We haven't made anything.
You are so smart.
And I want you to add one more thing to your list.
Do the research and then come back and give us a call.
1-385-273-1385.
Because I almost guarantee you, there's never a guarantee, but I can almost guarantee you that the prize that you have given Morningside USA, the prize that you've given our partners, cannot be beaten anywhere else.
Oh, for the quality.
Absolutely not.
I don't think that can be beaten anywhere else.
At least I can find it.
And can I just say this?
I think what's important, and I will always be the one to say, hey, listen, you have to do your research.
You have to know what's available to you as well.
So absolutely, you can call that toll-free number.
And I want to remind you, the reason why it's a different number, this is important because sometimes people are like, wait, why are we going to the normal number?
Because when with a product like this, you need experts.
You need experts who have been trained by Ryan Fry and his team who will help you navigate to say, what can I power?
What does it do?
How long will it last?
All those questions that I know that you have, write them down.
You can call that number, 1-385-273-1385.
They will help you to find the best solution for your case scenario.
The other thing, though, that I encourage you to do is go to the website.
That's jimbakershow.com, click on that affiliate link, Lion Energy, and you can start searching because the bundles, can you talk about?
I think the bundles that you guys have created, it's not just the generator, but you guys really thought through what you would need in the event of having a full system.
Absolutely, right?
And not only do we think what you're going to need for your everyday use and what it's going to take to run the generator, but we've also thrown in a couple little, a couple perks, right?
So acting, acting today, you can get a hand crank that'll operate the quest, right?
And that's just a bonus item for Morningside Partners.
That offer is not available anywhere else.
That's important to add.
We also have the 10-watt panel.
That is also a bonus item.
So this is a special bundle that we've put together.
So not only does it have everything that you're going to need to have a good experience with the unit, but we're also throwing in a couple perks just to have some fun.
You know, what I love is that you can customize your order to what works for you, what works for your budget.
Because listen, you're not most, most people, where you go and shop, they got one bundle and that's it.
You know, no, this over here with us, you can create your own bundle, what works for you.
We can, you know, you guys are able to finance with our partners as well.
Yeah.
And again, that financing gives you an option to give you, say, you know what?
I'm going to spend 12 months paying this.
And it's going to be the greatest gift that you can give someone if you have your husband or maybe I know a lot of women right now.
They are great construction workers.
They own their own business.
They're doing a lot of remodeling.
And listen, I know for a fact, ladies, you're going to want this.
Don't wait for your husband to get you one.
That bum is not going to do anything on the bus.
Listen, I say that because women are the ones that order all the products.
Women are the ones that show up.
We want security.
We want to know that in times of need, we're going to be okay.
I'm not trying to put us men down, but we're a little lazy.
I think you nailed it, right?
Don't say amen, lady.
I saw you.
I saw you saying someone's shaking their head a little too hard.
Listen, I want to do this.
We're talking a lot, but I want to do this, Ricky, because I believe you need to see what this unit can do all at once.
I'm going to plug this into the generator, and I suggest you find one.
I know everyone has a power strip like this.
It's a nice high-quality one, yeah.
Right?
So I'm going to plug in the fan, which is this one right here.
And I'm going to plug it in.
You're going to see it turn on.
That's right.
That is turning off.
That's plugged in at the same time.
Ricky, I know we had to get this from you.
That's why I was looking for my battery.
This is your battery charger.
I think everybody owns one of those because nowadays everything is wireless.
That's right.
I'm going to turn that on.
See it blinking.
You see it blinking.
And you know what else is cool?
Is as each time you plug something else in, your total time to empty goes down because it's calculating and it says, oh, wait, my usage has changed.
You're going to run out of batteries sooner and you need to know about it.
So then it's simplified.
You made this so easy for people to not have to do guesswork.
Correct.
Simply look at their machine and say, oh, I know exactly what it's going to do.
Can you hold this, sir?
I'll hold it.
Yep.
And I'm going to plug in what is called what is this called?
Oh, it's a drill.
Yep.
A drill.
I'm going to plug that in.
And then I'm going to move over here.
You're wearing a suit.
You're not allowed to work today.
I'm going to excuse that.
And I want you to follow me.
I got some screws right here.
And you're going to see that all that is being plugged in.
That's right.
Again, I'm doing this all at the same time that the fan and the charger for my battery is going on.
All at the same time.
I'm going to leave it plugged in and I'm going to do one more thing that is going to be wild.
Actually, before I do that, we do got a sander.
A lot of people got a sand.
Can you hold this sander, sir?
He looks like the boss.
I look like the worker.
Oh, my God.
It's okay.
I got the executive vest on.
Lion energy approved.
Oh, now he looks like he's been working on it.
I landed in the pancake, but that's okay.
That's going to kill all the germs in the pancakes.
I'll eat it.
Oh, shot, please forgive us.
So everything is still plugged into this unit.
Look at this.
Still running.
The battery's still charging.
I'm going to do one more just to give you a shock because I think this is the key.
This is the big mama.
Can you explain?
Yeah, absolutely.
So this, so the chop saw right here, right, is going to be the pinnacle of power, right?
Honestly, you're probably not going to want to have a lot of things plugged in when you do this.
Now, the unit will totally power this.
Will it do it with the fan on?
I'm not sure, actually.
With the other one.
Sure.
Let's do it.
Let's see.
Hey, the show me stay.
Okay.
The show me stay.
You look nervous.
Yeah.
You've got retro on.
Hold that block.
Someone hold that block.
All right.
You ready?
Leave it to us.
Yep.
Go ahead.
Let's do it.
The fan remains running.
Ta-da!
Absolutely.
You got to have some faith, man.
I was going to say, I was checking to see the fan still running, the battery was still charging, and the chopsaw was going all at the same expression.
I can't overestimate how impressive that really is.
Look, this saw is no joke, okay?
The start is big motor right here.
It's a huge inrush.
And by the way, it's a testament to the quality of our standards running all at the same time.
And if I wanted to, and to shock you, not to get you, you know, to turn around and blush.
I love it.
I'd do one more if I wanted to.
We're not going to make you otherwise.
We'll just pass out on live television.
But this is the key.
Everything you have at home would almost be plugged into this and still functioning.
And we can run a phenomenal amount of appliances, right?
That chops all right here.
I mean, seriously, that is fantastic, right?
The versatility of this unit is just, it's just, it makes me proud.
Oh, and by the way, the three lights were plugged in all at the same time.
I keep forgetting about that.
But see, Mondo, here's what I love is, so I'm also, I love, I will proudly say, Lord, I am a prepper.
I left prepare.
I believe in that.
But I'm also very practical in my life as well.
I'm like, this is not something that you just order and you just have it for just in the event of an emergency or if there's a natural disaster everyday use.
I will keep saying it over and over.
Listen, every day, familiarize yourself.
Know your product.
Know how it works.
Use it every single day in your daily life.
You know what I was thinking about here in this moment?
The one thing, and I believe I'm a homesteader.
It's like I'm becoming a homesteader.
But one of the things that my husband and I were trying to figure out is we're trying to build a chicken coop.
And we thought to ourselves, we're like, well, how are we going to get power to the area that we're trying to build it when we don't have power out there?
All of a sudden, my husband's like, wait, we have the generator.
We have the generator.
We have the expansion pack.
We could take these tools to any location and have it ready.
So even in your daily life, those are practical things that happen now.
And so right now, this is available.
I urge you to go to our website, jimbakershow.com, click on that affiliate link.
That's Lion Energy.
And I've been here making pancakes, Mondo.
I'm watching you.
I got pancakes.
I keep eyeballing you.
It's like, so I'm going to also, I'm going to let you guys try it.
Let's do it.
But before you do that, we got to have something to wash it down with.
And listen.
There you go.
Yes.
Hey, and you know what?
You know what, for me and my, what tastes, what the best kind of pancakes are, the best kind of pancakes are ones you cook with the energy from the sun that you don't have to pay for.
Think about that, right?
That's right.
Yep.
Because that is, that is what these, you don't have to pay for a lot of this energy.
Just use your solar panels, run all sorts of stuff.
Now, is this true that this inverter is the most efficient on the market?
Yeah.
So this one, this is the most efficient inverter that we've made.
This will, this, I would put it up there with any inverter on the market right now.
Absolutely.
Right.
I've done tests on this that have scored higher than any inverter I've ever seen.
I've seen over 90% efficiency ratings on this inverter that with tests I've done myself.
That's fantastic.
I mean, fantastic.
No, Marcel, you're over there cooking.
I know.
I just thought, you know what?
I'm going to give you each one because I was just looking at it and I'm thinking, how can I serve you and not serve one of you other ones?
I'm like, I have three guys here.
I got to make sure that these are the pancakes.
You were being stingy with the syrup.
Yeah, I was just saying.
We had to show that.
I need you to go back and watch this.
We had a show where we are showing the new food, our new affiliate, New Mana.
You can go on the jimbaker show.com and check that affiliate out.
Mondo, this is not a joke.
Probably poured like half a gallon of syrup on it.
Keep going.
It's a keep going, Mondo.
This is yours, Mondo.
Look at that.
I'm like, this is Mondo.
I can just see Frank turn it over in his grave.
I was going to say, yeah, Frank's not having a good time.
I know.
Don't eat the sugar.
This is a sugar-free.
Here's what's awesome about the food is I love our food because you don't have to add many more ingredients.
You literally just cook it, add water, and that's it.
You're good to go.
Ryan, here you go.
No, no, no, no.
But listen, and I keep saying this because we've offered different ones.
I think I ran out of forks, guys.
We offered different ones in the past and cooking your food was not an option.
Cooking with hot plates was not an option.
And so right now, these, this is what's so important.
You can cook your food.
You can have it.
If you're going camping, make your life easy.
My husband likes to always do the hard things.
He's like, We're going to build a fire.
And we're, and I'm like, oh, that's so great.
But guess what?
You can't catch me building a fire.
It's too hard.
But this is a way to do it where you could take these items, practically go camping, go outdoors.
I'm trying to figure out why they're crunchy.
I was going to say, yeah, she was talking while that one was cooking.
Listen, but we want you to go to our website.
It's jimbakershow.com.
Click on the affiliate link with Lion Energy.
Go there.
I love what Mondo said: truly, you can add your entire package.
They have pre-built packages and awesome, awesome deals there, but you can also add additional items.
You can build your own kits there.
So I want you to go there.
Remember to also call that toll-free number if you need help.
That number is 385-273-1385.
Now, Ryan, if someone called the number that Marcel had just said and they said, hey, I don't know which one is right for me, would they be able to talk through that with an operator?
Absolutely.
Yeah.
Yes.
Our team would want to understand what you're, what are you going to be using the unit for?
And then we would do a needs assessment and recommend the right unit for that.
Right there on the phone.
Now, what I'm telling you, when it comes to customer service, you have seen it.
You've called customer service lines.
You've been able to get to someone after rigorous amounts of pressing one, two, three, five, press one again.
You finally got to someone.
You asked the question you've been waiting to answer.
And they say, well, I actually can't answer that question for you.
And you're like, okay, I've just spent 45 minutes of my life now not getting the question answered.
Whereas this, you call that number.
They're ready to walk you through the process.
Yeah, I love that.
Yeah, I'm super proud of our customer service team.
They do a great job.
It's very important to us.
You know, I'm always interested to hear about that if we don't hit the market.
I'm staring at it.
I'm trying to prove everybody wrong.
And I had to do it before.
Oh, he plugged it in.
I got to do all of them.
Can you get a close-up of this?
We got to do all.
That's when they don't invite me to welding glasses on.
I have to say, Mondo is the kid who walks up to you and puts the light in your eyes.
That's a Mondo, right?
You know, Maricella, you said something a little bit ago about cooking and how this generator is better for cooking than others.
So something I just wanted to clarify, right?
There are other units.
The output would have supported a hot plate.
However, it's the runtime that always got us, right?
It's like, how long can you cook for?
Okay.
Before it was like maybe 30 minutes or it was 48.
It wasn't very long, right?
With the new with the new Safari, you're cooking for hours.
Yeah, multiple hours on this.
I mean, that's the benefit.
That's the bonus of the new unit, right?
And not only that, but right, you could maybe even run two hot plates on this.
We're talking like increased output and a ton of battery capacity, more battery capacity by far than we've ever had.
Yes, that's awesome.
You know, the most important thing to us here at PTL is to ensure that you have the peace of mind necessary in a hard time.
You know, it's why we preach the message which we preach.
It's really important that we come out here, we spread the gospel of Jesus Christ because that is the absolute first mission.
Make sure you have an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ, but make sure that you and your family are prepared.
I truly believe that we are living in the end times and you need to ensure that you're prepared for your family.
Now, you know, the chief engineer at Lion Energy, his name is Tom Tom Tolman.
Tolman, I just want to make sure I say that correctly.
Now, he explains the ease of use for the Safari.
I want to watch this because this is really important how he explains this.
Protect Your Gear 00:09:00
Now, being a parent and having so many loved ones to look after, when an emergency occurs, you may or may not be available.
And that's why I like to keep my gear simple so that my wife and children can set it up and get it going.
Our L100 ultralight solar panel is super easy to set up.
Step one, unfold and set up your solar panel in direct sunlight.
Step two, plug the solar panel into the input plug on the solar generator.
Step three, plug in your devices and enjoy free, abundant power from the sun.
Thanks to our advanced technology, you can even use this to power your medical devices or sensitive electronic equipment with a pure sine wave inverter.
Now, for those of you that don't know, the pure sine wave inverter is a premium feature that we have in our units that most others do not.
Having a pure sine wave inverter is like plugging straight into the grid.
With our solar generators, you can always stay connected to critical weather alerts, phone calls, and do more with zero downtime.
The Lion Safari is easily expandable.
You just take your main unit and plug in your expansion unit.
This is completed by taking the cable out of the back of your expansion unit and connecting it into the main unit.
This triples your capacity and your runtime.
Now that we've covered all of the outside flashy things, we need to get into the guts of the unit.
What makes it tick and what makes it amazing?
One of those key features is our lithium iron phosphate battery.
It is designed for this system to last for many years to come.
And that's why we've sold over 500,000 units.
Let's start off and talk about our state-of-the-art design and our unbeatable battery chemistry.
You'll see a lot of similar generators on Amazon or at other retailers.
Go ahead.
There's no hard feelings.
But know that our generators are the safest, most reliable, and have the longest cycle lives on the market, period.
This is because in our generators, there is a stable and powerful lithium iron phosphate battery.
Some of the competitors use cheap, outdated battery technology like lead acid or lithium cobalt.
These inferior batteries can be dangerous and also have far fewer life cycles like 500, so they don't last nearly as long.
Our lithium iron phosphate cells in our solar generators are reliable, powerful, and most importantly, safe.
You can charge up and drain your system completely over 3,500 times.
This means you could completely charge and empty your system every day for almost 10 years.
Other features that make our solar generators bestsellers is that they are truly portable.
Our Lion Safari is only 20 inches by 13 by 13, and it only weighs 57 pounds.
This portable generator is not only the perfect solution for survival situations.
With its beefy handles, it can easily be taken with you hunting, fishing, camping, or even out to the garage to power a second fridge during a party.
You'll never have to worry about carbon monoxide like you would with a fuel-based generator.
That's amazing.
That was Tom.
You know, he said it can even be taken out to the garage to power an additional fridge.
That's amazing.
I know a lot of questions we get is, can this power a freezer to continue to keep my frozen items frozen?
Yeah, and the questions, absolutely.
Yeah.
Wow.
Without question, freezers, those chest freezers, most of those are super efficient.
So you could power multiple, three, four, five chest freezers with this.
With the Safari.
You know, a lot of our wonderful partners are RVers as well.
And the question that we get a lot from the RVers is, will this be able to run my air conditioning unit in my RV?
That is a great question.
And for years and years, the answer was no.
Unfortunately, it can't.
However, that is no longer the case with a Safari.
For the first time, we'll run an air conditioner in your camp.
That's a kid.
And I personally have a Safari in my camper.
I have a little under-the-bed compartment storage.
And I'll just take the cord that I would normally plug into an RV park and I just plug it into the Safari.
So I have camping, you know, like an experience at a campground wherever I go.
For me, I have a big German Shepherd and a big boxer, and they don't really get along with other people.
So we have to go and do what we call boondocking.
So I'm out in the middle of nowhere, miles around, and that's where I set up camp.
Wow.
My wife doesn't realize that plugs and campers don't work like they do at home because I always just plug it in and she's amazing.
She doesn't have that experience.
Like Monda said, we're trying to continuously stump you with these questions.
We're just throwing questions at you.
You know, if someone was contemplating, they say, well, I know that I need to get a generator, but I don't know if it's necessarily right for me.
What would be one of your main reasons where you're saying, you know, it's now is the time to prepare?
Well, first of all, right, it's too late.
Once you need it and everybody else has the same idea, it's too late.
There are situations where we will have literally sell all the stock in our warehouse.
Wow.
For example, this week has been a very large volume week for us with all those ATT towers failing, right?
People are realizing that your grid's probably going to be a little bit more fragile than the cell phone network, which has backup after backup after backup built-in redundancies that are managed by private corporations.
We all know how well the government runs things, right?
It's not the most efficient, you know?
So the time isn't, you know, you don't want to wait until you don't have any other choice because you're going to have to get in line, right?
The time is now.
Get it while you can get extra items for free with these bundles.
Get familiar with the products before you absolutely have to.
These are fantastic products and you're not going to get a better price.
These are, these are, this is the time is now.
For someone who has a generator but doesn't have an EMP bag, what would you say to that person?
I would say for me, protect your investment.
The EMPAC EMP bag is a few hundred dollars.
No, seriously, right?
I mean, we've done all this work to prepare.
What a shame that would be if we didn't have it protected when we needed to, right?
And not only protect your generator, protect what you want to run with it, right?
If you have your generator in an EMP bag, that's great.
But if everything else you want to plug into it's fried, that's not going to be recommending getting a second bag to put those additional appliances, items, laptops, tablets, whatever it is you want to continue to use.
You're saying it'd be best if you had a secondary one wrapped up so to have those items in it as well.
Absolutely.
I mean, for me, it's please, right?
You've done all this work.
You've went so far.
Protect your investment and then put items in there.
For me, in mine, I have a tablet that's got known good, known berries I can eat and then it identifies poisonous berries, seeds.
It's like an outdoor survivalist guide, right?
I've got walkie-talkies and different communication devices as well, right?
I mean, just think ahead.
What am I going to need when things are crazy?
All right.
I'm going to try to stump you one last time.
Solar panels.
Does EMP affect solar panels?
So that's a great question, right?
So solar panels, for the most part, are not going to be subject to EMP.
However, it depends on how close and how strong the EMP pulse is, right?
For example, a nuclear weapon, okay, if it's close enough, yes, would compromise a solar panel.
Absolutely.
However, if there's no electronics in the solar panel, it's only a diode.
And a diode just stops energy from flowing back to the solar panel at night from the battery, even though our units won't output it.
It's just a redundancy.
That's the only electronics that are in there.
If you're going to have an EMP that's strong enough to actually melt all of the different wires inside the solar panel, it's going to kill you.
Yeah.
It really is.
Very true.
Yeah.
It's a big issue.
Oh, you better get right with God.
That's right.
Hey, Mondo, you know, we were talking about the durability of those solar panels.
Mondo, I think you're the only person who hasn't stood on those.
I need to connect.
I got to check my.
Hey, Mondo's good to stand up.
You got a backpack.
Don't even bend over.
Just push it over.
Yeah, just push it over.
He said, push it over.
Look at it.
There you go.
Yep.
Now you can stand on it.
This is how adorable these things are.
We want to make sure that it's...
Look at that.
There you go, there you go.
Seriously though, have a good job.
Get a running start and slide on it.
Yeah, he'll fall over.
Mondo just had a knee surgeon.
We don't need to be doing all that.
I'm doing work.
Otherwise, I hate that.
I lost my knee.
Yeah, Tom wouldn't like that.
But those solar panels are the most durable solar panels we've ever built.
That's amazing.
I love that you guys continue to improve on what you have built.
The foundation was excellent, but you've continued to build story after story on top of that foundation that simply gets better and better.
And he does it all for you.
The passion that Frank Davis had truly has integrated over with Brian Fry.
We want to thank you for carrying that legacy, carrying that passion.
Thank you.
And they do it for you.
Why?
So that you can have peace of mind.
It's why we do what we do.
You may say, hey, I tune into the Jim Baker family show.
Why am I seeing about generators?
God Loves You 00:02:48
Why am I seeing about survival food?
Why do I see about water filtration?
Because we want you to have peace of mind, friend.
We want you in a hard time for your life not to change very much, for you to say, hey, you know what?
There was a little hiccup, but I'm back in action because I've had everything I needed to prepare.
And what will that do for you, friend?
That means your home, your community, your area becomes a church now.
You can now bring people in and say, Hey, come over here and use your CPAP machine.
Come over here and get a hot meal.
Come over here and get clean water.
Come over here and get educational items that are going to tell you about Jesus.
It's why we do what we do.
And above all, this, friend, we want to make sure that you're right with God.
If you've done all this to prepare, but you don't know Jesus Christ is your personal Lord and Savior, then it's all in vain, friend.
We want to make sure that you know Jesus Christ is your personal Lord and Savior.
And that's simple.
All you have to do is say yes.
Say, God, I want you to sit on the throne of my heart instead of myself.
I want you to be the ruler and reigner of my life.
It's simple.
And I urge you: go get in a good Bible-believing church.
Go get yourself around friends and fellow believers that will encourage you towards the cross because that's what this is all about.
