Why Christians Need to Understand Worldview Chaos

| Why do I, as a believer, why do I as a Christian, not, why do I need to know about this stuff? | |
| Why can't I just love Jesus and kind of just leave all of this out of it? | |
| As we see the world devolving into chaos around us, we need to be able to show people, look, the Lord didn't just one morning slap himself on the forehead and say, boy, I didn't see any of this coming. | |
| Yes. | |
| Pastor Carl Gallups credit him with that statement. | |
| This is all, as you mentioned earlier in the program, this was prophesied. | |
| Amen. | |
| And so we can give people comfort if they don't know the Lord Jesus Christ. | |
| Why is our political situation the way it is? | |
| Why are we seeing chaos on our streets? | |
| Why are we seeing professors being denied tenure because they just assert the reality of human physiology and biology? | |
| He actually respects the science. | |
| Yes. | |
| Real science. | |
| That's right. | |
| But we can explain that scripturally. | |
| This is all consistent with a Christian understanding of the worldview. | |
| We wrestle not against flesh and blood, the human opponents, but principalities, powers, cosmic rulers over this present darkness. | |
| It's about helping them understand what is going on and how to really prepare for it, which, as you said, the ultimate security is Jesus Christ. | |
| And Derek, I have a question for you. | |
| You know, we are seeing groups, people groups who are just so opposite supporting each other. | |
| You know, we saw a recent article that was put out and somebody was holding a sign. | |
| And I think it said, you know, excuse me, I'm not trying to be crude. | |
| This is exactly what it said. | |
| It said, queers for Palestine. | |
| Now, this is a religion that they are saying that they support that actually openly kills homosexuals. | |
| How are we seeing such people groups support each other? | |
| We see a lot of this, but I think the only explanation is when you see, you know, feminists supporting Islam or, as you say, the marchers supporting Palestine, who clearly would not be welcome in Mecca. | |

| Their only unifying factor is their shared hatred of the gospel of Jesus Christ. | |
| Wow. | |
| That is the only thing unifying them is that they do not like the gospel of Jesus Christ. | |
| They hate the gospel of Jesus Christ. | |
| Believer, that is why we need to stand more and more firm every single day on this right here, the word of God. | |

| If this is not your foundation, you need a new foundation. | |
| The word of God needs to be your foundation. | |
| The Bible says that there are two houses built, one on a good foundation, one not on a good foundation. | |
| And what happens to those two homes? | |
| The exact same thing. | |
| The winds come, the rains fall, the waters rise, but there is one home that is not shaken, and it is the one built on the gospel of Jesus Christ. | |
| Jesus loves you. | |
| He wants you to be a part of his family. | |
| He died on a cross. | |
| He stood there and took beatings. | |
| He carried his own cross to Calvary. | |
| He hung there with you on his mind. | |
