Choose Life
00:04:45
|
|
| Well, what's happened is our culture, you have to stop and think what culturally we have done. | |
| Our happiest moments are celebrated around a birthday cake. | |
| Right, birthdays and pies, with Christmas cookies. | |
| And so we associate that happy, good memory with those sweets. | |
| And that's what's happening. | |
| But how are we going to stop people from eating sugar? | |
| It's simple. | |
| Deuteronomy tells us, I have set before you life and death, blessings and cursings. | |
| Now, you choose life so that you and your descendants or children may live. | |
| So we've got to make that choice because our kids are going to be watching us. | |
| And when we make the wrong choices, we'll teach them to make the right choices. | |
| And I love what Mary says because in Isaiah chapter 7, verse 14, it says, remember when Isaiah prophesied that Jesus would be Emmanuel. | |
| And he'd be born by a virgin shall conceive. | |
| Again, that was spoken out, what, a thousand years or so before Jesus was born. | |
| It had to be spoken by a prophet, but that literally, that word, that spoken word became flesh. | |
| But a virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and his name shall be Emmanuel, and butter and honey shall he eat, that he shall know to choose the good and not the evil. | |
| By what he ate. | |
| By what he ate. | |
| Correct. | |
| So our young children, and I'm so proud of my grandchildren. | |
| Yes. | |
| Because we have broken the curse that I was raised up of the wrong foods. | |
| My grandchildren do not like sweets. | |
| They hate them. | |
| We never get desserts. | |
| Never. | |
| If they have a birthday, I'll let them choose a dessert. | |
| We don't ever do it just. | |
| But they'll be like, ooh, I don't want that. | |
| Mimi, I want an apple. | |
| Yeah. | |
| And I'm like, I just sit there and I just thank you, Jesus. | |
| No weight problems. | |
| They're choosing. | |
| No weight problem whatsoever. | |
| No health problems whatsoever because they have learned to choose living food. | |
| My Brayden, my 14-year-old, he was out. | |
| We took him out to eat a cheese factory. | |
| He got wild. | |
| He got the salmon. | |
| He got the salmon. | |
| We eat salad. | |
| He loves salad and salmon, which is great. | |
| So again, we're teaching them to choose living foods instead of dead foods. | |
| So I'm wanting our audience to know you are what you eat. | |
| Yes. | |
| You're inviting disease in. | |
| So when I look at sugar, I don't think, oh, man, it tastes so good. | |
| I crave it. | |
| I crave it. | |
| I see the diseases that come in my office every day. | |
| Incurable diseases. | |
| Do you say diet is as important as medicine? | |
| I think it's more important. | |
| More important than medicine. | |
| Because, Jim, if you listen to this, doctor, if you will choose the right foods, you will not need medicine. | |
| If you will practice intermittent fasting, guess what? | |
| You will not have a weight problem. | |
| And you can use a little stevia with tea or coffee. | |
| Artificial sweeteners can be poison. | |
| Those are poison to your brain, especially aspartame. | |
| Aspartame converts to phenylalanine and asparta. | |
| And are these sugar-free soft drinks? | |
| Do they have artificial sugar in them, do you think? | |
| Many, well, many do. | |
| Many will have either splenda or aspartame. | |
| And aspartame can convert to methanol, which converts to formaldehyde. | |
| And it literally degenerates the brain. | |
| The thing is, you catch a cold, you catch the flu, but you develop the disease. | |
| That's correct. | |
| Absolutely correct. | |
| And when you understand that principle, when people really get in their mind, you develop like it becomes a part of your body from constantly making wrong choices. | |
| I've known people that have, you know, drank diet drinks. | |
| That's all. | |
| But a lot of diet, I can't name a product because I don't want to go to jail. | |
| Well, it's usually it converts to aspartic acid phenol. | |
| But they have cancer from it. | |
| Oh, is that true? | |
| Well, again, what it does, this is inflammatory for your brain. | |
| I mean, when you have something convert to methanol and formaldehyde, that's a toxin to your brain. | |
| You are literally inflaming and degenerating your brain. | |
| And so you can be healthy, people. | |
| You old people even can be healthy. | |
| And there's a lot of us old people around now. | |
| And we're going to be healthy, amen. | |
| We're going to eat right, feed our brains, think right, and take over the world for Jesus. | |
| That's what we're doing. | |
| Amen. | |
