Gates Struck Down 00:03:41
Explain the difference between altars, gates, and thrones in your book.
You talk about that.
Can you explain that to us before we leave?
Yeah, absolutely.
And, you know, we're talking so much about how to change society.
And the Bible clearly says in the book of Acts that when there was no hope left, the church began to pray in the midst of persecution.
And during that, God began to come.
And the Bible says the angel of the Lord, you're talking about gods.
Herod stood up and said, I am a God.
And the angel of the Lord, when the church prayed, struck Herod and he died.
And the Bible says the worms ate him.
I believe that there are powers that are going to be struck, world leaders even going to be struck that raise up and say, I am God.
And God is going to come as the church prays.
And we are going to see them struck down by the power of the most high God.
But when we're talking about gates, we're talking about places that are spiritual symbols for God's kingdom.
So a gate, a covenant, a gate is an open door.
So we can, just as demonic gates can be opened, so too can God open gates as we pray.
Altars are places where covenants are established.
So if the enemy has created an altar, we can in turn tear down that altar, reestablish God's altar through worship.
And a throne is a place where an authority or a power sits.
Whoever sits on the throne is the one that gives the command.
And so there are those entities and powers that are on thrones and they can be dislocated, taken off their throne, and we can reestablish the Lord in our life, in the region, in the areas that we live in, even over nations where God begins to be glorified again.
We can change leadership.
We can.
We can.
And ultimately, we want to change the minds of men.
Because the metamorphosis of people's minds is what is going to cause them to begin to see Christ in a different light.
You talk about the gateway to our soul in your book.
What does that mean?
Well, there's different parts of you.
You have different senses in the natural, your eyes, your ears.
These are gates.
And they are connected to your soul.
And so we have to, as believers, watch over our eye gate, our ear gate.
What are we watching?
Because whatever we're watching, we're creating an altar to.
That's right.
Where are we putting our ears?
What are we listening to?
Because what we're listening to is going to affect our minds.
And so that's why the enemy knows that if he can get us, I mean, I was at the airport the other day, and I just started to, Lord said, look around.
And I started to look around.
Every person was on their phone.
No one was engaged speaking to one another eye to eye.
They're all engaged in the devices.
And so when you're talking about technologies, the enemy knows that he can use the technologies to capture the eyes, to capture the ears.
Transformed by the Word 00:00:37
And, you know, that's how people are manipulated.
That's how people are controlled.
And we have to begin to break that.
We have to get off of our phones.
We have to get back into the word of God.
We have to begin to look up to the Lord and begin to pray and get into the word of God.
Faith comes by hearing, hearing by the word of God.
The more that we listen to the word of God, the more that we're transformed.
And the more that our speech begins to be transformed, and we begin to have power, we begin to have boldness to preach the gospel without fear.
That's right.
