Obedience Is Everything

| This is so important, what you just taught us. | |
| And people need to know the word of the living God and be obedient. | |
| Obedience is so important. | |
| Don't you believe that? | |
| Obedience is everything. | |
| So this is one of the keys. | |
| Spiritual warfare. | |
| Here's the reason why we're fighting. | |
| What is Satan fighting for? | |
| He's fighting for your obedience. | |
| That's right. | |
| What is God looking for? | |
| He's looking for your obedience. | |
| So the sum of spiritual warfare is this. | |
| Who are you going to obey? | |
| And you will either win or you will fail miserably based on who you obey. | |
| So get this in your spirit and never forget it. | |
| What you obey, you give access to. | |
| That's right. | |
| And so Satan is whispering in your ear, trying to get you to obey, trying to say words of doubt and unbelief, trying to get you to harbor bitterness and unforgiveness. | |
| But God is whispering in your ear and he's trying to get you to show up at the house of God, to read your word, to partner with ministries. | |
| That's the importance of partnership. | |
| When you call or when you go online and you partner, you are obeying. | |
| And in that obedience, you are opening the door for the Holy Ghost to come into your life and therefore you win the spiritual battle. | |
| Which obedience. | |
| Not desire. | |
| Not desire. | |
| There's a lot of believers who desire a whole lot of things that they never get. | |
| Obedience. | |
| What is obedience? | |
| That's what brings you into holiness. | |
| So you're going to be presented every day with a multiplicity of decisions. | |
| Will I watch that or will I not watch it? | |
| Will I engage and share what Pastor Jim is putting out or will I not? | |
| Am I going to say that word of doubt and unbelief or am I going to speak words of faith? | |
| Every day you're presented with moments to obey the Lord. | |
| And when you do, you're stepping into holiness. | |
| You're stepping into power. | |
| And you're stepping into the victory that God has provided for you. | |
