Lord's Word of Power 00:01:42
You mentioned in your book that Psalm 68.11 has been misinterpreted.
Can you explain that?
Yeah, Psalm 68.11 is a good example of when they translated the Bible into the King James Version.
It says in King James, it says, the Lord gave the word and great was the company that published it.
That's how the King James reads.
But when you look at the amplified, which goes deeper into the context of the scripture, the way that they've translated it is this.
The Lord gave the word of power and great was the company of women who bear and publish this good news.
They are a great army ready for war.
Wow.
It's a little different.
Wow.
Hugely different.
It's just that the people that were translating scripture didn't have a frame, a framework in their mind for how God wanted to use women.
Women, like Proverbs 31 talks about the virtuous woman, every place else in scripture, that word that's translated virtuous is translated valiant when it refers to men.
So God is raising up virtuous and valiant women who are willing to step up to the plate and make a difference in their community.
I think something that's powerful about my wife and the anointing upon her is that she's not only powerful and anointed and has the word of the Lord, but she didn't feel like she had to be a man or act like a man to be anointed and powerful.
She's very feminine.
She's very gracious.
She has an ability to honor me and connect.
And so there's something about that truth.
I think that is powerful, that we don't have to be something we're not supposed to be in order to fulfill the call of God.
And so she brings who she is and still has the anointing up.
