The Holy Spirit's Purpose

| Well, you know what's happened, Jim, is in so many of what we call charismatic churches, they have left out the Holy Spirit. | |
| Yes. | |
| And Jesus said in John, he said, when I go to heaven, I'm asking the Father God to leave the Holy Spirit here for you. | |
| And the Father God did. | |
| And then Jesus went to the right hand of the Father, and the Holy Spirit stayed here on the earth for us, the believer. | |
| Why is that? | |
| So that we could walk out our salvation according to how God had planned. | |
| Because God does not do anything without purpose. | |
| He is a purposeful God. | |
| And every one of us that have come into the kingdom have a purpose. | |
| Even those in the world that don't know him yet, he has a purpose for them. | |
| He is very purposeful. | |
| And we have to find our purpose and walk in it as the best we can with what we understand in love. | |
| But the Holy Spirit is what helps us continue in that. | |
| Because the word said, and Jesus said, the Holy Spirit will bring to your remembrance all things that you have heard. | |
| So what's the key? | |
| Learning. | |
| Learning. | |
| Learning is the key. | |
| Study to show yourself. | |
| Study to show yourself approved. | |
| So we must study the word. | |
| We must listen. | |
| Pray in tongues. | |
| Pray in the Holy Ghost. | |
| Listen to the Holy Spirit. | |
| He's here for us. | |
| Yes, he is. | |
| And he's always speaking whether we hear him or not or listen to him. | |
| We get so busy with life, we don't listen. | |
| It's true. | |
| So what we have to understand, that I am alive unto God. | |
| My spirit, man, is the new me. | |
| That's who I am. | |
| That's why I need to live from the inside out because that's who I am. | |
| And in living from the inside out, then I'm going to show you the love of God. | |
| I'm going to give you the truth of the word and I'm going to flow in the Holy Spirit. | |
| What does that mean? | |
| That means if God puts someone in my path that I need to minister to, then I'm full of the Holy Spirit. | |
| I can hear him and minister to them effectively, and they are changed. | |
| Praise. | |
| And that's how we need to be living every day. | |
| The Holy Spirit is not just for church services. | |
| That's right. | |
| The Holy Spirit is not just for church services. | |
| I want to say it again. | |
| The Holy Spirit is for us to live fully according to how God intended every day. | |
| Every day. | |
| But we have to build a relationship with him. | |
| We have to know him. | |
| We have to know his voice. | |
| And in knowing his voice, then there's that security of we don't have to think, is that you, God? | |
