Silencing The Preacher
00:01:14
|
|
| Can I ask you a personal question? | |
| Do you have you ever feared that you're going to be cut off and not able to speak freely? | |
| You preach the gospel, really. | |
| What you say is based on the word of God. | |
| Amen. | |
| Do you feel you'll be censored someday? | |
| Well, there have been a lot of attempts, Pastor. | |
| I'm sure there have been. | |
| I've, for instance, you know, like Jerry Boykin, who's the executive vice president of the Family Research Council, years ago before I came back to the Pentagon, I was the vice president at the Family Research Council for Policy. | |
| And so I was unfettered and was able to say whatever I wanted. | |
| I still can to a certain degree because I'm a strategist, but I'm also a contracted strategist at the Pentagon, working on things that I'm not going to talk about. | |
| But I understand that, like you, Pastor, I have some sense as to how they come after you personally, how they come after you to silence you because they don't like your message. | |
