Signs Of The Times
00:05:38
|
|
| I've been unsettled in my spirit for several weeks. | |
| It's not stopping today. | |
| I came to this show hoping to settle down a little bit. | |
| But Matthew 24, 4, 14. | |
| There's more in this one chapter, probably about the last days than any chapter in the Bible. | |
| Signs to watch for, signs to look for. | |
| You ought to read Matthew 24 over and over again because this is what's being fulfilled right now. | |
| Right. | |
| Do you hear me? | |
| Yes. | |
| This is the chat. | |
| These next few verses that you're about to read to us, these are the times of trouble and persecution. | |
| And here's what it says in Matthew 24:4 through 14. | |
| And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed, no man deceive you. | |
| For many shall come in my name saying, I am Christ, and shall deceive many. | |
| And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars. | |
| Okay, wait a minute. | |
| Okay. | |
| Let's go back to people coming in the name of Christ. | |
| Right. | |
| Do you realize what's happening in the youth culture? | |
| They have a different God. | |
| They have different saviors. | |
| Churches, pastors have just resigned by how many do we know of? | |
| Do we have an actual number, Mondo? | |
| Between 6,000 to 10,000 a year. | |
| Can you believe that? | |
| No. | |
| Sad. | |
| Wow. | |
| And that's in the United States of America. | |
| Yeah, the latest headline right now, according to the Wall Street Journal, houses of worship face clergy shortages as many resign during the pandemic. | |
| Wow. | |
| Yeah. | |
| This is studies from the Barna group include studies of faith in the U.S. Found that 38% of pastors were seriously considering leaving full-time ministry. | |
| Wow. | |
| Again, these are shocking numbers. | |
| We don't have time to go through all this, but you ought to go do the research and find out what's really taking place. | |
| Go ahead and read the rest of that quickly. | |
| Okay, so stop going starting with, I am Christ and shall deceive many. | |
| Now, I find this interesting. | |
| I just have to say that, let's just go back to this again. | |
| We'll start again. | |
| And Jesus answered and said unto them, take heed that no man deceive you. | |
| For many shall come in my name saying, I am Christ, and shall deceive, second time, deceive many. | |
| And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars, and see that ye be not troubled, for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. | |
| Now, I find that part about not becoming troubled interesting, Jim. | |
| Well, because time of trouble. | |
| And he said, don't trouble. | |
| Don't get nervous. | |
| Don't, you know. | |
| I'm going to bring you through. | |
| But when God warns me of something, he troubles my spirit. | |
| Right. | |
| Where you feel unsettled. | |
| That is unspeakable. | |
| I feel unsettled. | |
| I do feel so unsettled. | |
| And I know something's going to happen. | |
| And every time I know something's going to happen, it happens. | |
| And war is already breaking out in this world right now. | |
| Absolutely. | |
| And I like what Mondo, there's something you said earlier. | |
| I just think we need to go back to real quick, and you touched on the youth, but it's not just youth. | |
| You said, Mondo, not just did you talk about all of the wars that are happening, which we all think of physical wars, especially our generation, right? | |
| Our generation thinks, you know, bombs and missiles and rocket, but then like there's cyber war, but there's culture wars. | |
| It's huge, the culture war. | |
| That's a war. | |
| So that when you put it all in together, and you did that whole list just a minute ago, it was brilliant because that's all of the wars that we have entered into now. | |
| So let's go ahead and let's finish this. | |
| Let's finish this verse. | |
| For nation shall rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom, and there shall be famines. | |
| Okay, stop right there. | |
| While we were away, I was watching all kinds of different everything. | |
| I watched everything. | |
| We had a smart TV, I was watching everything you could possibly imagine watching. | |
| And I saw famines that were horrible on the other side of the world. | |
| I couldn't believe it. | |
| I was just, this is in Ethiopia. | |
| It was unreal to see all these famines taking place. | |
| So they are happening right now. | |
| That's right. | |
| And as we read on, pestilences and earthquakes and divers, which we all know means many places. | |
| And these are the beginning of sorrows. | |
| Then they shall deliver you up to be afflicted and shall kill you. | |
|
Epidemic And Famine
00:00:40
|
|
| And ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. | |
| This scripture is being fulfilled. | |
| Famine, pestilences. | |
| This COVID-19 has been an epidemic. | |
| Absolutely. | |
| Millions affected. | |
| I believe several million have died from it. | |
| It's been hideous. | |
| And famine, lack of food is now. | |
