Signs of the Times

|
| Doctor, I want to ask you as an intelligent human being, what do you think of, here's a lady that just quoted the Bible, and they call it hate speech. | |
| And I've warned and warned that this is what's coming. | |
| They're going to declare the Bible as hate speech, trying to eliminate the use of God's word. | |
| And we're coming close to that now. | |
| We are. | |
| And again, that's just the signs of the times. | |
| We're living in the last days. | |
| You're going to see more and more of this in many different countries, not just in Finland, but also in other countries like Canada, I think, has it. | |
| And it'll soon be here in the U.S. You know, I know that people, you know, believe, you know, there's a return of Jesus Christ coming and that we're going to miss a lot of what I think is coming. | |
| I think we ought to have the attitude to be more prepared to go through some things and not to have this escape mentality. | |
| Because when you look at the first church and the early church, what they suffered and they went through, why would God omit them to go through it and yet we escape it? | |
| That's right. | |
| So I think it's better for people to have the attitude that there may come a time I have to go to jail for my stand on the Bible and not be afraid of that. | |
| I've preached in prisons and preached in jails. | |
| So one day I may be on the other side of it. | |
| I don't know. | |
| Well, also, the movie Paul the Apostle of Christ, it talks about what Paul went through and Luke. | |
| And so again, we're going to be seeing this more and more in the last days because we are in the last days. | |
| Yes, we are. | |
| And that was a powerful movie. | |
| And literally, they would burn, Nero would burn Christians. | |
| They would put them up, they would dip them in kerosene or whatever, and then put them up, and they'd light them on fire, and they'd be singing to the Lord. | |
| And it just, they couldn't believe it. | |
| And eventually, unfortunately, if the Lord doesn't come soon, we're headed in that direction. | |
| But not to be afraid of it. | |
| Because the word of God tells us that he said, I will be with you. | |
| I will never leave you nor forsake you. | |
| So no matter what is coming to the church and what we may be facing, and I'm not confessing that that's going to happen. | |
| But I'm just saying in my heart, I'm preparing myself that in the event I am here through this what's coming, that the greater one is in me. | |
| And it's good for your children to see you have that attitude because if your children see you in fear, then they get in fear. | |
| And the word of God says, I have not given you a spirit of fear, but of love, power, and a sound mind. | |
| So this is not a time to be afraid, but just to believe the word of God. | |
| Ultimately, he is the authority in our life. | |
| And when you know, you're absolutely right, when you know what's coming, you have a peace of mind because you've read the word, you prepare emotionally, you prepare spiritually, physically, everything about it. | |
| Therefore, all we're watching is the return of Jesus Christ coming back by the signs that he talked about in Matthew 24. | |
| One of the greatest questions the disciples ever asked Jesus was, what are the signs? | |
| And he gave us the signs to watch for, for us to be aware, to be alert, to be always in the lookout. | |
| So when you're watching what we're developing in America and all over the world from this wars taking place, Ukraine versus Russia, Taiwan watching Ukraine crisis and concern. | |
| They're full of anxiety and fear. | |
| And at the same time, we're watching volcanoes all over the world take place. | |
| Guatemala being hit by a 6.1 earthquake. | |
| All those are signs at the same time rejoicing because the king is coming back. | |
| All those signs are coming, are being tied together to let us know that we are the Revelation generation. | |
| And that's why Paul said in Philippians 4:4, when he was in prison, by the way, he said, rejoice in the Lord. | |
| Not sometimes, always. | |
| And again, I say, rejoice. | |
| Now, rejoice is an action. | |
| It's a verb. | |
| It's not a noun. | |
| It's not joy. | |
| Rejoice requires action. | |
| It requires singing, shouting, smiling, dancing, just being in joy, rejoicing. | |
| And something that you have to do many times by faith. | |
| Yes. | |
| And so that's why I say activate your joy center. | |
| Start belly laughing. | |
| Start watching funny shows and just rejoicing with your family because the key is we are in the last days. | |
| The key is if you've confessed Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you are going to heaven. | |
| But why not go and receive crowns and everything else by standing up for Jesus? | |
| And don't go in fear. | |
| Yes, amen. | |
| Fear not, fear not, fear not. | |
| I can't say that enough to people, that fear is your greatest enemy. | |
| It really is. | |
| Fear is your greatest enemy. | |
