|
| The entry you have on January 2nd. | |
| Your birthday. | |
| My birthday. | |
| Shame on me for talking about my birthday again, right? | |
| Waiting on God to reveal to you. | |
| What can we learn from Samuel about waiting on God? | |
| I'm telling you, that's the hardest thing sometimes. | |
| You have a thought about that? | |
| Yeah, and for believers everywhere, you know, waiting on God is sometimes one of the most challenging parts of our spiritual life. | |
| It's sometimes easier to pray because we feel like we're doing something. | |
| But waiting on him to promote us, waiting on him to reveal us, knowing that we have a gift, we have a calling, we have training, we have affirmation, and yet somehow we're still in the wilderness. | |
| We're somehow hidden in a cave. | |
| But it's in that waiting that God puts things in us we couldn't get any other way. | |
| It's in that waiting instead of striving because the opposite of waiting is the striving. | |
| You know, Samuel didn't try to make his name known, but yet everybody knew from Dan to Beersheba that he was a prophet and that none of his words fell to the ground. | |
| But yet he didn't post on Facebook about, you know, how accurate. | |
| No, he didn't have to because the people recognized the anointing. | |
| And I just want to encourage you that are listening, whether you're a prophet, a prophetic person, God, your gift will make room for you, but it's at the Kairos time. | |
| It's at the moment of the revelation of who God created you to be. | |
| And we can't push into that on our own or we'll fall flat on our face. | |
| That's right. | |
