Different Gifts, Different Callings 00:01:46
And he will do that.
So I've always held on to that, and I've heard it preached many times.
And now, but this is perfect.
That's what it is, Miss.
But it feels so unqualified.
Haven't you?
Have you ever felt unqualified and a job and a ministry and a calling?
I think most of us have.
Yeah.
Well, if pride goes before the fall, then what are you setting your ministry up for when you walk in and you say, I got this?
Watch me.
No.
Yeah, watch this.
This is going to be fun.
Yeah, you're about to get released on YouTube, honey.
Don't know this right.
So it's just kind of tricky.
Honestly, God has to humble you before you can begin your calling so that when you succeed in that calling, you understand that it's by his empowerment in your life and also by you embracing the uniqueness of your own calling.
We are all different and we can't compare ourselves to other people and make the assumption that our calling looks like somebody else's or that our unique gifts need to match someone else's.
We get so hung up on that.
We miss our own unique attributes because we're so busy trying to be that person over there or this ministry over there.
And, you know, God makes all different because all of the people who are lost are different.
And one ministry stereotype is not going to reach all the lost.
It's going to take different types of ministries, different types of outlooks.
So if you're the person who is maybe, you know, you're a mom and you're just taking your kids to school and you're doing these things and you think, well, I'm not really conducting a ministry.
Yes, you are because you are the one who's interacting with your friends, your children's friends or your children's friends' parents.
You're witnessing your own path.
So everybody has a unique calling.
