Manifestations of the Spirit

| In the DVD teaching which we send out with this, we have the book Releasing the Miracles, Miraculous. | |
| You say the gifts and manifestation of the Spirit of God are the definition of the church of Jesus Christ. | |
| Can you explain that? | |
| The Holy Spirit expressing the Father, expressing the ongoing ministry of Jesus on the earth today is exclusively through the church. | |
| Because we are the body, we are the building that he's building. | |
| We are the body that he's empowering. | |
| Now, how does he, how does he, in fact, you could even say it this way. | |
| The manifestations of the Spirit are how the Spirit interacts with the physical world. | |
| So without the manifestations of the Spirit, I have nothing to offer the world that Jesus sent me into. | |
| When he said go into all the world, he didn't mean just dress nice and go. | |
| He meant go empowered, go equipped to represent something, someone that is sending you. | |
| How could I in myself represent him unless he empower me? | |
| That's right. | |
| You know, we were talking about at morning side church yesterday morning. | |
| How there that even in prayer, Romans 8 tells us, for we know not what we should pray for. | |
| We don't even know what to pray for, except that the Holy Ghost help us. | |
| We think we do. | |
| We think we do. | |
| But really, that's when we start praying all kinds of squirrely prayers because here's what we think and here's who we think and here's how we think and here's when we think and we start praying all these kind of prayers. | |
| That really all started with me, me. | |
| Here's what I think needs to happen, and i'll tell you, if we're not careful with that, many times those prayers border into witchcraft. | |
| Wow yeah yeah wow wow, empowered and endued spiritually alive, and they stand in a place where they start speaking out and calling out things that are outside the will of God but seem right to me scripturally. | |
| So you have a lot of Christians believers, entering into no difference. | |
| You're just using the name of Jesus for, and that's all it is. | |
| So, even in prayer, our reliance must be on the spirit of God. | |
| Amen yeah yes, even in prayer. | |
| So even in prayer, Romans tells us, we don't even know what to pray for as we are now. | |
| Obviously, there are some things we know. | |
| My head yeah, and my head, does not understand the plans and the purposes of Go, because his ways are higher than my ways, his thoughts higher than I. Have no way of entering into that except by the spirit of God. | |
| So the manifestations of the spirit. | |
| The gifts of the spirit, the demonstrations of the spirit, are God demonstrating his will through me? | |
| Yes, and there's no greater higher call than that. | |
| That's right. | |
