Deluding Influence Revealed 00:02:13
I have a verse of scripture I want you to interpret for me, okay?
Okay.
And in 2 Thessalonians chapter 2, verse 11 and 13.
For this reason God will send upon them a deluding influence so that they will believe what is false.
You hear that?
In order that they all may be judged who did not believe the truth.
Yes.
But took pleasure in the wickedness.
But we should always give thanks to God for you, brethren, beloved by the Lord, because God has chosen you from the beginning for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and faith in the truth.
So there is a deluding spirit influence.
False influence.
And I think God's trying to warn us about what we're reading about right here in 2 Thessalonians 2 verses 11 through 13.
Absolutely.
And I think we have a tendency, at least I know I have in my lifetime, to think that all the evil things in the world that happen happen only because somehow the fallen realm are super clever.
No, God is aware of every one of their plans, knew it before the foundation of the world, has always known what they would do every minute.
There's nothing they do that's clever.
They never get away with a thing.
He allows these facts.
He's allowing the strong delusion for his glory.
That's right, amen.
And to make sure that those tares that Satan sowed a long time ago, that they become obvious to everyone, and that includes you and me.
Isn't it becoming obvious who the tares are?
Isn't it becoming obvious that the world does not believe in a Savior?
However, when an alien shows up and says, I'm going to protect you from this evil alien, I'm the Savior.
